As many of you will recall a few weeks back Chris and Valeksa Guider shared their story of leaving David Miscavige’s church and declared their independence. They joined many of us on Independence weekend and some of you had the good fortune to meet them.
We are very happy to announce that on Thursday, July 22nd, at 7:33 pm, they welcomed their first son Declan Charlton Guider into the world. The birth was a very theta experience. Declan is perfectly healthy, weighing 7 lbs 11 oz. He is a peaceful and beautiful boy who is very pleased with his choice of two loving and happy parents.

Hi, Congratualtions to both of you. I did not write when you declared your independance so I am taking the opportunity now. Chris will remember be but you Valeska, you were a little girl when I was at SH. I knew your Dad fairly well though. (Amongst French people, we always had a connection.)
It’s incredibly theta to see this picture and to see you as parents. This is the start of an amazing journey for you. Parenting was one of the most black-Pred thing in CofM, when in fact it is a very high purpose and a great adventure.

Well done! It is such a shock to see someone celebrating a baby with a photo in a Scientology arena. Marty, this is truly a new era where possibilties and hope are celebrated.
