Scientology Soaring In Israel

Re: Expansion Update – Dror AO Academy

Hey Marty,

We are enjoying expansion like we’ve never seen before.

Communication Workshop:

Last week we held a 2-day Communication Workshop. First day, Thursday evening, I delivered a lecture on ARC, Tone Scale, Interested-Interesting, Overts/Withholds and the Comm Formula. This can be seen, alas in Hebrew, on our site, drorcenter.co.il.
The following day, Friday morning, people drilled TRs for 3 hours with huge wins. 25 people attended, most of them new public. Some who attended have known us for long but refused to come in because we were part of “that cult.” Since the separation from the church we have many more reaches. People know the Tech works, they know we deliver and are caring. They can now be public of Dror Center safely and enjoy the benefits of Hubbard’s Tech.
Of those attending the workshop, three attendees have already started on major services. More are on their way.
I’m attaching 3 pictures:
#16 shows the lecture of Oct 18th:

#31 & #44 show people doing TRs on Oct 19th:

Dror AO is Booming:

Our AO is booming with new starts and first-ever’s. We have two pre-OT’s being audited by Tami on NOT’s (OT5) and two more have finished NOT’s review and are ready to go on to Solo NOT’s.
Yesterday, three pre-OT’s have started Solo NOT’s Part A. Two more pre-Clears, who have attested to Grade 4 and are on NED, have started the Solo Course, getting ready to do their OT Levels.

At Dror, the pre-requisite for the Solo Course is Academy Level 0. We now have 3 students on Level 0. They intend to become auditors and are also getting ready for their Solo Courses.

I’m attaching two pictures, # 25 & #36, taken on Oct 27th, in the morning, then in the evening.
Pic 25 shows:
– Eyal Soref, OT5, on Solo NOT’s Part A;
– Moti Weizman, on NED, on Solo Auditor Course;
– Aviv Bershadsky, Class IV & FPRD Auditor, on Audited NOT’s,
on Solo NOT’s Part A;
– Eitan Beitner, Course Sup, auditor trainee on Academy Level 0;
– Alex Shur, OT5, on Solo NOT’s Part A

Pic 36 shows:
– Carmela Weizman, Grade 4 Release, on Acad Level 0;
– Galit Latinsky, Grade 2 Release, on Acad Level 0;
– Dima Jitovetsky, Clear, on Solo Auditor Course;
– Alex Shur, Eitan Beitner

Also in the academy yesterday were:
– Dima Dubinin our Class IV auditor who’s on the NED Auditor Course;
– Yoram Dvir, on Student Hat
– Sophie Kogan, on PTS/SP Course.

Public coming back on lines:

Immediately after our “declare,” in July 2012, OSA employed its goons to attempt to destroy us. All our public were harassed with numerous, uninvited, visits at their homes and endless phone calls. A few succumbed under the lies, intimidation and threats, and dropped off our lines. Of these, 4 have already come back. They realized the church can’t deliver, that they were misled. Their letters will soon be published.

Several old-timers, who have been off church lines for years, in despair that they will never make it to OT, are now coming on our lines with enthusiasm. They are moving up the Bridge again with great wins. More stories will be coming from them.

We are creating with joy, knowing we are working ONLY for the public and for Ron.

We have received huge help from our friends, fellow indies. Thank y’all again. Let me know if I can help anyone with support, materials or advice. Love, Dani

Thhheeeeerrreee is a balm in Haaaiifaa, that soothes the sin sick soul!

  2. Very well done, Dani and the whole team. When I started in 1878 we all wished to have an AO in Israel – now there is one and not thanks to Scientology Inc.
    Love you guys!

  3. This is so wonderful and you didn’t need to get staff and actors to “fill up the courserooms” for the promo shot! This is so exciting! This is Scientology!
    Thank you!

  4. This shows what can happen when stops and entheta are removed from the environment. There’s a real Bridge in Israel!!

  5. Holy cat!
    Best post ever.
It looks like fun, it must be Scientology.

  6. Beautiful Dani – these delivery pics will evoke a strong sense of nostalgia for how things used to be before Miscavige got his hands on the reins, but equally I’m sure will inspire many more to see what flourishing and prospering looks like in the real world, outside the synthetic mortuary of DM’s “ideal scene”. Great suff!

  7. It makes sense, once the public know your not connected to the now infamous cult. The unfullfilled many decades long backlog of demand alone would support a boom for decades. Its the 70’s all over again. Have your DA packs ready to show your not the church. Lots of recent press on the Independent movement outside church control would be good filler.

  8. “We know that Scientology cannot progress in the society unless it is done by a group effort. We know that it can best progress as individuals banded together into groups, and these groups banded together into a larger group”. LRH, from The Scientologist, a Manual on the Dissemination of Material.

  9. WOW WOW WOW!!!!

  10. Felicitas Foster

    Awesome!!! VWD!!!

  11. Big, giant, humongous, gargantuan smiles for all 🙂

  12. Now that’s what I call a group success story! Marvelous!

  13. Wow!!!!! This is a true expansion! Thank you Dani and team for sharing this with us!!!!!! Much Love,

  14. That is so Theta.

  15. Free to apply the tech!

  16. Dani, it is a real treat to see you showing the way that Scientology should be used. As a former mission holder (10 years in Redondo Beach, CA), I have the utmost respect for what you have accomplished. and to top it off, you have established your own AO!

This is the ideal model for an Independent organization .Bring them in as raw public and graduate them as operating OTs.

  17. Awesome!!!!!!

  18. one of those who see

Shalom to Dani and all the beings going free in Haifa!!! This is fantastic news!!!!! And not unexpected. The tech works. People want to go free. If you deliver straight tech in a safe, high ARC environment, well… you get Haifa!!!! Well done to all.

  19. Awesome! Creating joy and helping people win!
Oh and nothing fake or staged about these shots!
I’ll bet no one was kicked out of these pictures because they were wearing the wrong color shirt – one that didn’t match the room decor or because they had their tennis shoes on!
Ha – I love this – You go Dani!

  20. one of those who see

Marty, just wanted to say this. People are back in session and winning. People are getting trained. The tech and LRH are again being well thought of. The light of truth is shining right in David Miscavige’s face. And in truth you are doing him and his followers a favor by stopping the overts.
Hadn’t said Thank you in a while. Thank you. You are certainly a hell of a warrior for good.

  21. You folks are such an inspiration to us. Your smooth transition from an already theta group to an unrestrained, real bastion of freedom will inspire many others to withdraw their support from miscavige’s cult and to flourish and prosper without the constant suppression of his regime cutting across theta lines.

The tech is now free for all to use. You guys use it so well.

    Our admiration, LEC Coeur d’alene.

  22. Talk about pissing all over David Miscavige’s Lobb shoes. Y’all should make a side by side poster. Israel Ideal Org, as approved by Miscavige. Dror Center as declared by Miscavige. You do the math.

  23. plainoldthetan

Wow. Look at the attendance at a communication workshop lecture. This is the difference between Dror and Miscavology. People are attracted to other LIFE and THETA. They are repelled by DEATH and ENTHETA. The Dror people appear to be weighing in on the LIFE side of the scale. And people are finding it attractive. Go figure.

  24. One Picture worth 1,00 Words.
I get the Dror website news in Hebrew, cant read a lick of it
but I am a fast learner. All this is so great , the Miscavige “No Tickee No Washee” Church of nothing that costs a million in any currency is Dead.

That is MORE than ALL orgs of Corporate Scientology Incorporated combined for a whole year.
    ♫ Voulez-vous receive Standard Tech, ce soir ? ♫

  32. This is how is it is SUPPOSED to be!!! This is very exciting. Very well done to all of you at the Dror AO. This one is going to go out as an email blast to many current members…I hope they will have the guts to actually open the email, open the link and start reading 🙂

  33. I wonder if David Miscavige will send in the Squirel Busters…. 😀

  34. Ok blast email sent out…Can’t wait for the reactions – TAA…hahaha

“Let me know if I can help anyone with support, materials or advice. Love, Dani”

Dani, it is invigorating to see and hear and feel the truth in your stats!

    Thank you, Dror AO Academy!

  38. constant vigilance

VVVWD to the Dror Center. You are setting a great example and proving that people reach for life and shun death. I’d like to find successful organizations in the Indie movement in America. Help me out — where are they? I’m new to the Indie movement.

  39. Awesome!!!

  40. Standing Ovation! Stand Israel!

“After a storm there must be a calm.” Desmond Dekker Author of the first reggae recording.

  41. Now that’s real fabulous news! Thank you so much for going independent! The way people recognize the difference between your center and the “official” CoS, flocking away from “the cult” and coming to you instead, speaks volumes. Thanks again.

  42. This is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! This is what Scientology is about!!!! Not new glitzy buildings, celebrity BFFs or wornout, broke, BIs public.

  43. Fantastic! This should be a model of what can happen everywhere.

  44. Great pictures. Great report.
The pictures remind me of how Scn was when I got in, in the 70’s. Simple but clean quarters, packed full of people. No fancy, million dollar, cathedral type buildings but boy were people up tone and getting real products. Funny but it seems the tone level of the people is inversely proportional to the amount of money spent on the mest.

  45. Li'll bit of stuff

Pure cohesive THETA, just brushing aside entheta,
as if it doesn’t even exist.( Poof! As-ised !)

  46. Fabulous fabulous news! Joyful!

  47. Regular Dog formerly Underdog

Those are great pictures – they communicate: “The Scientology Reformation” is the right program and this is how it’s done.

  48. Gerlinde Mantey

    This is amazing!! 😀 😀 😀

  49. Really Great news! Thanks to Dani, Tami and all staff in Israel for the hard work in moving folks up higher! Also to Claudio and Renata in helping set up the AO and anybody contributing to that!

  50. Yes, this IS how it is done! Extremely good example, Dror Center, of taking a public stand against the corrupt C of $, building back from what you have, and offering straight LRH tech and most of all, DELIVERING on your promises to service people with it, who are obviously winning. Absolutely wonderful!

  51. After all the efforts of OSA by Miscavige © did to stop the Dror Center, those efforts resulted being like spots of dandruff on the shirts of those staff in this beautifull organization; spots just dusted off … easily.

Knowing that Scientology DOES WORK is there strong point for expansion togheter with the use of Standard Application, free from squirrel interpretation by David Miscavige that with the complicity of his staff have detryed thousands of lives.

Dror Center is delivering from basic Div 6 Courses up to the highest OT Levels available and this is of GREAT VALUE.
So carry on like this … valiant soldiers of freedom !

  52. This is the future of Scientology. independent orgs are free to deliver Scientology in a pressure free, supression free, on source environment. No IAS, no Int events, no arbitrary, know best, hidden data line Miscavige imposed barriers to training and auditing. You can just do Scientology. This is going to be huge.

  53. WOW! The “Reformation” is truly under way! These brave Israelis and others who follow their example will be the bastion upon which the Church breaks.

  54. Hapexamendios

Wow this is fantastic news! Really made my day!

  55. Claudio & Renata Lugli

    😉

  56. Wow!

  57. This is very exciting. It is setting a great example for the rest of us to follow. VWD!!!!

  58. This is to the Dror AO Execs:

    You go!
    😀

  59. peggy oconnor

This is what real learning and interest looks like. Although I am not Sci, (just interested), this is what learning and good communication looks like to me. I taught 5th and 6th grade for many years in what was called an open classroom; no walls, over 200 kids and around 4 teachers in a (pod) where there was active, individual learning, lots of communication and exploration. HOW NICE to see real people, and not PAID EXTRAS; (sadly you find better actors in the movies), who look involved.

  60. Back to the future! This is the Scientology I remember from the 60s and 70s. Excellent work, guys!

  61. Claudio Lugli

    Don’t know…..
    I can’t really express it … but…
    I’ve got a sort of a feeling …
Yes I have a feeling in regards to the Scientology INC …
Better express by my friend Robben Ford….and his bro
Dedicated to Tami & Dani and the beautifull people at Dror Staff & Pubblic

  62. My wife is amazing… seems to me she’s in comm all over Europe, she already brought out some and now may have another new Pre OT for Dror… we’ll see, but it looks good.

  63. And no battery of Reges manning the exits.,.

I don’t know how I did it all those years, but it seems I always knew exactly when to leave early and avoid those engrams.

  64. Very Well Done to Israel!!!
This IS the birthday gift LRH wished for 🙂
    Keep on……!!!!

  65. Wow~ good for you!! You had more people receiving services, not getting regged to death for IAS and other front groups that do nothing – than all of the entire Church of Miscavige did in 2011! And in one weekend – you provided more help to people than COB’s church has in years!! The good news is – you don’t hurt people after they have received the service. Hats off to you Dror!!

  69. Roy Macgregor

Very Well Done Danny. You have, in fact, the largest SCIENTOLOGY delivery center in the world. The miscavologists might disagree, but truth is truth and facts are facts. You deliver Scientology, only obtainable outside the walls of corporate miscavology. It’s not that miscavology is bad. There is a certain kind of person that feels that they deserve to be punished and degraded. They belong inside the walls of a miscavology center. They love it there. But they are only a small percentage. Most people love the idea of more freedom, more ability and more happiness – and DROR center delivers Scientology and Scientplogy delivers all that and more.

  70. You guys just pushed through and did it. Fantastic!

  71. Wow, wow, wow, Dani!

My successful criteria for judging beings has always been, Can he or she get a product?

Boy oh, boy can you get a product! Excellent, excellent, excellent! I love to hear of independent scientologists flourishing and prospering.

You are dead right about the perception of the tech. People know it works.

The entirety of the negative association is ultimately with the CHURCH of Scientology. NOT the SUBJECT of Scientology. It’s easy for people to differentiate between the two after they ask about it and you tell them you are not with the church.

  72. Holy shit ! A positive Scientology story.

Sorry folks, but for wogs like myself, I don’t come across those positive stories enough.

How are they “getting away with it” in Israel?

Is it because its not a religion there or?????

Ive always marveled at how the Rco$ can claim to be a religion, yet people cant practice their own personal religion “outside of the church”.

Someone, at attorney explain to me how, Mike Marty Etc… –why cant they sue the “church/cult” for religious persecution?

Why cant ALL former C0$ members who have been “black balled” for “squirreling”.

I mean its so stupid that the courts allow this crap – to think “Ok, the Catholic church expels you as a member for violating their covets or practices – fine”.

But to think the Catholics would say to someone – oh no no no NO !!!!!!!!!!
its impossible to be a Catholic outside of our Church .

You arent a Catholic and if you even try and still believe in Catholicism, we will not allow it and will harass you.

I mean its just beyond belief stupid.

When you hear Tommy Davis say on TV,” there is no way to be a Scientologist outside of the church”

    Im Sorry. Excuse me?

Does that not SPELL out “For profit enterprise” – we have the only way & for that “way” you gotta pay – & you gotta pay what we say

    Its like Evil Dr Seuss

I have defended anyone fighting the cult of mismanage and I am a defender of the Independent movement. But, I think it is an insult to the creator of Dianetics etc, to call it a “religion: I know some folks, even here at this blog are conditioned to be offended by this remark. This is not my intention.

I think Dianetics and some of Hubbards techs, are proven to be a positive and effective “self help” movement, which is what I have been led to believe was Hubbards original idea.

    Self Help.

I see the passion in the comments I read on this blog, from adherents to LRH so I know I am treading in deep waters here. But, I can assure you, my comments are pure and true to my own beliefs & are not meant to be an indictment against anyone or anything. If anything, as you keep reading my comments, you will find I actually hold Hubbards ideas to a

I believe that once we strip the facade of calling it a religion, will open it up to everyone who wishes to apply it. Most people will find some use from it and they will discard the rest.

I also believe that it is can NEVER even be considered a religion, until people – ALL people are allowed to practice their “religion” outside of any other group or center.

Then again, that wont be very profitable.

    My 2 cents anyway-

    BMO

    Cheers and Beers

  73. Here’s your starting point:

    iScientology.org

  74. You too? Hee hee…

  75. I was wondering how the Dror center was doing and I find this wonderful post. Maybe in a month or two someone could do a short write up of what out tech you are not applying, what standard tech you are applying, and a few stats and we can show it to some of the idle orgs and see if anybody there wants to get the show on the road and disconnect from the suppression they are under.

  76. one of those who see

Love your Name “No longer..” Cracked me up!!!!

  77. one of those who see

  78. Bravo- your names kicks 12 kinds of a$$

  79. Jim, I’m trying to get hold of you. Can you pm me when you get a chance?

  80. I can’t imagine how fucked up DM must be right now; this blog; the lawsuits; the expansion in Israel; Marty’s comm to OSA …

I would imagine those around him are cowering in fear, pain, all those lower emotions. Of any of you are reading this, you can free yourself up. There are those here who would help you decompress in a safe space. I’d make room for at least one or two of you.

  81. Outstanding! Very very well done and congratulations on such achievement of true expansion. I’m very happy for all of you and grateful for your efforts.

  82. Li'll bit of stuff

Incredible to see something so beautiful! Like an oasis in the desert, for one dying of thirst! A mirage? An Illusion?
Must get there! (said while crawling agonizingly forward.) Finally, after what seems, like hours, reaches the shade,
the shelter from the burning sun. Relieved, beyond belief,
he inches on, not daring to look back, fearing it may all just vanish! Hoping against hope, he lifts his hand, and stretches
out, to touch the beautiful, clear liquid ,surrounded by.lush
green plants and beautiful, godly, creation, he has found.
He scoops up the precious, cool, life giving liquid, and drinks.
And drinks, and drinks, savoring every single drop.Water!
He weeps! Sobbing, relieving tears, and thanks God for the
    miracle, to end his suffering.
No more thirst (of theta) for the people who manage to get
to Dror. Or similar life giving retreats and sanctuaries for those who are blessed in making it away from the sun baked lifelessness created by the madman who deliberately destroyed other former life giving oases-of-theta, turning them into a wasteland of thirst, and tortured hopelessness.

A new dawn has arrived, bringing renewed energy, life and
    hope for the future.

The REFORMATION is now a reality! Thirst for Theta need
    no longer be endured.
    .
    Wonderful times ahead!

    Calvin..

  83. Interesting mention of Catholicism, Bedman. There has been a set of “splinter groups” in Catholicism for some time, which really caught on in Latin America maybe 25-30 years ago, called “liberation theology” This pretty much stresses ideas of social justice and freedom from political and economic oppression, and is a pretty activist philosophy.

Well, the Vatican did not like these interpretations of Christianity, and I believe threatened some Bishops with excommunication if they didn’t cool there jets and stop being so outspoken and organizing people etc. Maybe some were actually excommunicated, I don’t know for sure.

  84. Lovely stats! Real Scientology is booming in the holy land.

  85. Li'll bit of stuff

Marty, just to paraphrase your hushmail address:
howdoesitfeel after getting news like this??????

  86. OT: just wanted to let you know that the big list of ex-COS-members who have spoken out, which is a WWP-project, just reached 2,000 entries. The list can be found here: https://sites.google.com/site/biglistthatleftscientology/home

  87. Here’s a song for all the folks now at Dror and all who will be. This version is by The Byrds, from 1965:

Bob Dylan – Chimes Of Freedom Lyrics

Far between sundown’s finish an’ midnight’s broken toll
We ducked inside the doorway, thunder crashing
As majestic bells of bolts struck shadows in the sounds
Seeming to be the chimes of freedom flashing
Flashing for the warriors whose strength is not to fight
Flashing for the refugees on the unarmed road of flight
An’ for each an’ ev’ry underdog soldier in the night
An’ we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashing.

In the city’s melted furnace, unexpectedly we watched
With faces hidden as the walls were tightening
As the echo of the wedding bells before the blowin’ rain
Dissolved into the bells of the lightning
Tolling for the rebel, tolling for the rake
Tolling for the luckless, the abandoned an’ forsaked
Tolling for the outcast, burnin’ constantly at stake
An’ we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashing.

Through the mad mystic hammering of the wild ripping hail
The sky cracked it’s poems in naked wonder
That the clinging of the church bells blew far into the breeze
Leaving only bells of lightning and it’s thunder
Striking for the gentle, striking for the kind
Striking for the guardians and protectors of the mind
An’ the poet an the painter far behind his rightful time
An’ we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashing.

In the wild cathedral evening the rain unraveled tales
For the disrobed faceless forms of no position
Tolling for the tongues with no place to bring their thoughts
All down in taken-for granted situations
Tolling for the deaf an’ blind, tolling for the mute
For the mistreated, mateless mother, the mistitled prostitute
For the misdemeanor outlaw, chased an’ cheated by pursuit
An’ we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashing.

Even though a clouds’s white curtain in a far-off corner flashed
An’ the hypnotic splattered mist was slowly lifting
Electric light still struck like arrows, fired but for the ones
Condemned to drift or else be kept from drifting
Tolling for the searching ones, on their speechless, seeking trail
For the lonesome-hearted lovers with too personal a tale
An’ for each unharmfull, gentle soul misplaced inside a jail
An’ we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashing.

Starry-eyed an’ laughing as I recall when we were caught
Trapped by no track of hours for they hanged suspended
As we listened one last time an’ we watched with one last look
Spellbound an’ swallowed ’til the tolling ended
Tolling for the aching whose wounds cannot be nursed
For the countless confused, accused, misused, strung-out ones an’ worse
An’ for every hung-up person in the whole wide universe
An’ we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashing.

  88. Dear Bed Man Okc,

No one gets offended on the subject of Religion. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion

But you do have a point on the atrocious mindsetting expressed by former and current spokesmen of CofS: “He has been expelled and it is the Church that determines who is, or who is not a member of the religion.”

    ML/A

  89. Maybe $cientology’s concern is not so much that ‘squirrels’ are using the tech, but that they’ll loose their monopoly? And when the Independents also produce better and more products, it get’s even worse for $cientology.

  90. Gern Gaschoen

This is really fantastic! I’d love to see pics of the Grad Ceremonies and Certs!

  91. Phil Bruemmer

    Yay Dror!
    Keep on truckin’

  92. Hi Bed Man OKC,

Well, I think that it is OK for Scientology to be a religion. Personally, I think it is a religion because it deals with that stuff that is beyond the physical universe….the human spirit.
But I don’t think that there is a requirement that one think of Scientology as a religion either. It is up to the individual what he thinks of it as.
What confuses the issue is when this renegade “church” claims that it IS the religion or the subject. That is like Baptists or Catholics saying that nobody else can be a Christian.
Yeah right …..and flying monkeys eat elephants for breakfast with toast and jam every morning, too.

  93. Good reference Martin. As more and more groups come into existence, the next step would be an association for them. An association without oversight or control. More of an exemplar for best practices and a marketting clearinghouse for tech and PR resources. Many examples to be found within Religious and fraternal organizations.

  94. TroubleShooter, Gayle

Whooo Hooooo!!! The next goons you see around your booming org will not be osa but cob’s observation mission that he’s firing to Israel as we speak to discover WHAT it is that you are doing. He needs the data desperately because his “org-strategy-that-is-a-new-and-better-way-to-expand-an-org-than-LRH’s” ran into a snag, it hasn’t worked! This is awesome and inspiring news Israel!!!

  95. It’s already been mentioned but this reminds me of the high enthusiasm and production that was extant in the missions before Scn was taken hostage by Misscabbage and his minions. Well done for setting an example.

  96. What you folks are doing is so inspiring.
Thank-you for your courage and integrity!

    Vic Krohn

  97. That’s how it was when I routed onto my first course at the Org. All are looking and doing great! Cheers

  98. OMG. Multiple students? In an academy course room? at the same time? And VGI’s? I haven’t seen that in years.
    #stunned

  99. Gayle,
I doubt he will be sending out a mission. That’s too overt for where his reality is these days. Look for a nearby building with mirror glass and no activity. If he sent a mission the clubbed seals would see for themselves how people were winning and they might stay for services!

Looks like we are going to need to get some centers fired up here in the US so we can make a Birthday Game out of all the fun……………….

  100. Theo Sismanides

Go Dror, go Israel…. a cool breeze over the Mediterranean… now that’s what a real Ideal Org should be like: each of its divisions doing more and more. Great news!

  101. but i have a feeling, they still consider you a stat….

  102. Thank you for sharing this fantastically theta news!

  103. Yes, that’s how I remember it.

  104. Night Watchmen

Actually, iscientology.org, created by Steve Hall, goes quite far in being a vehicle for this. As more material and resources are added, it could grow to be enough on most counts. A technical and social clearinghouse. Its ownership needs to be protected from takeover.

  105. You’ll also find a bunch at http://freeandable.com in the “training” and “auditors” sections.

  106. Truly remarkable ! Excellent job !

And it PROVES this : just deliver pure Scientology, care about the individual – and the public comes back in droves !

But that lesson is lost on Miscavige.

  107. BMO, I think a lot of us here completely get what you are saying (certainly with regard to Dianetics). When you get a chance, pick up an old copy of the book “The Phoenix Lectures” by LRH (1954, often on ebay for $5 or $10). It’s no longer published, but has a couple of excellent chapters titled “Scientology: It’s General Background, parts I and II”. From that, I think you’ll understand why a lot of us here are ok with calling Scientology at least a “religious philosophy”. The lectures themselves are also now on CD, and those too could be picked up rather cheaply. (And you can probably also find them free online if you hunt.)

  108. Gayle, perhaps he doesn’t use live Missionaires any more. Only electronic gadgets as the Div 6 in orgs only uses videos to enlighten public so I would think there would be an extension of the expensive “look in” system as being applied in IOB!

  109. I can just see McTinyfists now: ” I MUST STOP THIS DELIVERY OF SCIENTOLOGY IN ISRAEL!!! ” “IT IS CHALLENGING MY MONOPOLY!!”

  110. eileenclark101

Correct Source, Correct Application. Brilliant use of HCO PL TECHNICAL DEGRADES, KSW Series 5.
You all are awesome, staff and public!!

This is what results from applying LRH Tech standardly and correctly with only the intention to help. The place just fills up, is happy and productive.

    Love to all.

“It’s like evil Dr. Suess”. THAT was funny, it’s good to see the humor in things.

Also, liked the rest of your post.

  112. one of those who see

For the Haifa Mission, wonderful video of Israel

  113. eileenclark101

    Dean,
He might be stupid enough to do that. However, it won’t be successful for him. It would help the Dror Center though.

The climate in Israel isn’t exactly conducive for success in such activities by Cof$. Miscavige’s credibility isn’t so good with the Israelis generally and they won’t tolerate religious spying and harassment very graciously. Nope. Wouldn’t be a good move. So, maybe he will do it.

Doesn’t cost him anything, he’s got billions of parishioner donations to use and a few moronic robots to do the dirty work. Yep, sounds like something he would do.

  114. Dear Israeli freezone/independent Scientologists,

There is an elderly long time critic of Scientology, scholar, who I invite Israeli independent Scientologists to interact with, if this academic comes calling to find out the latest. (I imagine the big time long term Israeli Scientologists already know of this academic.)

This paper, in 2003 by Benjamin Beit-Hallahmi is a good summary of the predominant world skeptism against Scientology as a whole.

I think independent Scientology in Israel might have some new cutting edge comparisons to promote in their favor.

    http://www.uni-marburg.de/fb03/ivk/mjr/pdfs/2003/articles/breit2003.pdf?searchterm=beit-hallahmi

This long paper on Scientology, by one of the academics who questions Scientology being a religion, I wonder what that academic would say once he spends time carefully observing the independent Scientologists today in Israel.

I’m urging scholars to take a look, and compare.

I hope the independents allow themselves be interviewed and compared, to show what is different about them, compared to official Scientology.

The above paper is an important summary of issues, which due to what LRH wrote and lectured, continue to cause image problems for Scientology as a whole.

Even I, atheist and ex Scientologist, find points in Hubbard’s extensive writings to defend against many of the major points in this paper.

I still to this day feel I can defend Scientology better than the majority of Scientologists, even though I am a non believer! And I do so, when I’m asked the big questions, which makes me seem like an apologist for Scientology. Only because I know so much, and have so much of what LRH wrote.

One new thing with freezone and independent Scientology, is they are free to talk publicly without penalty, unlike official Scientologists who are muzzled and horrible debaters regarding Scientology’s controverisal irreligious behavior. .

Being excommunicated from official Scientology has its advantages in intellectual freedom to discuss Hubbard and Scientology doctrines and rules. Independent Scientologists have the moral high ground over official Scientologists.

Big questions like “Is Scientology a religion” or secular mystical spiritual self-improvement pseudo-psychotherapy philosophy eastern mystical religion type religion, or what is it?, are more and more able to be determined now that there is a growing community of freezone and independent Scientologists who don’t display the irreligious downsides that official Scientology is dramatizing.

I hope more freezone and independent Scientologists will interact with new religion scholars.

  115. eileenclark101

    Jean-Francois,
Yes, they are excluded. However, not by Independents. By themselves and their own actions they exclude themselves. They would be welcomed if they chose to participate with any Independent individual or group that is delivering standard LRH Tech, simply because they DO deliver standardly.

  116. Must be something about guys named “Ron”. 🙂

  117. Back in the day(1960s-1970s), some would have called you a “natural scientologist”, because at bottom a “scientologist” is just an aware and interested person who “studies how to know, how to find answers”. And also facilitates others doing so. As you did. 🙂

  118. Yes, the CoS acts like the Sneetches who have “stars upon thars”, while everyone else have no stars. 🙂

  119. I also want to point out that the Krenik’s have had an A/O up and going in Elma Washington for years.

Also want to thank all of the Freezoners that have been delivering service for decades.

I am loving this safe space, for all people caring about the person in front of them, and actually delivering service.

  120. Dani Lemberger

Hello Chuck, This is Dani. Benny Beit-Halachmi is (or was) a professor in Haifa Univ., Dept of Psychlogy, specializing in the “Psychlogy of Religion.” Strange way to use taxpayer money. I met him once, he was afraid of me, thought I was an OSA spy out to hurt him. Anyhow, if you have a comm-line with him, I’d be happy to talk to him. And I won’t report back to OSA. Thanks, Dani

  121. He is exactly right too! It is David Miscavige himself that has made the Freezone and the Independent movement a neccessity. He determined it all. He mocked us all up over here. We are David’s mock up! Had he not mocked the Church up as a sociopath entity, we would all be over there! He determined in every way who is over there, and who is over here.

  122. Dani Lemberger

Hey Martin, would love to get in comm with you. Please write to dnlmbrgr@yahoo.com, thanks

  123. Dani Lemberger

Thanks Jim, wouldn’t happen without your help

  124. Dani Lemberger

Claudio & Renata, this story is all about you. It happened because you are here with us.

  125. Another Layer

    Great point!

  126. Chuck said “I still to this day feel I can defend Scientology better than the majority of Scientologists, even though I am a non believer! ”

Just curious what you mean when you say Non believer? LRH said many things and I don’t “believe” in everything he said. What constitutes a non believer in your mind? Who would be a “believer”?

  127. IIP,
Now now you are not THAT old……
    Greta

  128. Dani Lemberger

Marty, thanks for always having room for us on your blog. Mosey, thanks for having us at your home in June. OSA, thanks for always being watchful at the Rathbun home and ejecting us from the madhouse.
The Tech is fun again – free, spirit of joy, caring, undisturbed.
There are so many of us doing it now, we know the Tech will always be here for Mankind, long after the rubble of “ideal orgs” is cleared.

  129. What a rush a positivity 🙂

    @Chuck

Don’t see, how you Can have freezone and Independent Scientologists under the same umbrella? There is a bunch of seminars and what not from the freezone movement on youtube. Its totally altered and squirrel.

I am not claiming to be a expert on Scientology, but I have been brought up in the SO and seen public for 20 years. Freezone does something different, for has nothing to do with Scientology.

  130. Charlie Sweeny

Just goes to show you don’t need an overwhelming, crushing bureaucracy to deliver the tech. Grass roots…just like how LRH started the whole she-bang back in the early-’50s! Very well done!

  131. Great question.

I am also, not sold on EVERYTHING! In fact, I am first look into Scientology after 14 years. Let me tell you, two things that worked for me and is

amazing. Although I did not consider myself a Scientologist. What Hubbard wrote about granting of beingness and about taking Walks to extrovert. Probably small things, but the power is incredible.

In my toughest times, I always take long walks to extrovert. Only because I learned it from LRH. I met young people that, were on pysch drugs. I believe, taking walks and extroverting is light years ahead of any pysch drug on the market.

  132. ! מזל טוב

  133. Maybe the FreeZoners where just out-of-comm for too long.
    They developed their own traditions.

Not everything FreeZone can be said to be squirrel.
I am sure there are lots of well skilled on-source auditors and C/S’s there.

  134. I also want to add, its alot about Perception, How a product is presented and being bias.

Take the Secret, nummer one book on amazon, for years. Talks about alot about the same principals as Scientology. Great dvd, they have.

The issue with the secret and pretty much every book/material. Is that they identify the problem, but present no real tools to handle it. Yet its popular beyond belief.

The tool I guess is the session part. This is the difference, between Scientology and anything else.

    This is my personal viewpoint.

  135. Cool.

  136. If you think everyone in the Independent Movement is standard tech, you have omitted data. The last Independent that was at my house was as standard as a fucking fortune teller. Right up to falsifying work sheets. Someone from the Freezone had to come and clean it up, at my expense. And by the way, that Independent is the number one person pushing for a civil war between the Freezone and the Independents and accusing others of being non standard. Missed with holds.
The Freezone IS a group of Independents. There is no need to start time labeling people and building walls and distances between people. I will stand behind ANYONE in the Freezone, except for one person, because they are GOOD and DECENT people. I don’t think anyone wants another dictator on their lines. I don’t think anyone wants RTC inspector on their lines. The Church would JUST LOVE a civil war right now between Scientologists out here. This is as good as it gets right now. Why tear it down? Any part of it? Your statement above is a generality and there is a PUSH right now to start a civil war out here between people. Because SOME PEOPLE have missed with holds! What is “Freezone”? It is a group of MANY people. They all live in their own homes and conduct their own affairs. They are not a ONE UNIT just the the Independents are not a ONE UNIT tech wise. Pat Krenik attended so many of Hubbard’s lectures he awarded her the S.H.S.C.. She has been auditing P.C.’s for over 60 years. She is in her eighties and has raised 11 children. She was there when the tech was being researched and put in place! Many people in the Freezone carried the Church and Scientology on their backs as staff long before they came out here. They are paying their own bills and handling their own clients. Their exchanges are with their own clients. They try as best they can. They do the best they can. I appeal to everyone here to PLEASE not get lured into a lower enemy condition and decide to harm attack or suppress the Freezoners. That is a lower condition. Let’s keep it normal and above. Those are really the conditions we all prefer to live with.

  137. They are not out of comm. Contrary to recent reports, many of them are listed on the Indie 500 list. Many of them read this blog and post here. As far as I know all of them except for two support Marty and are very grateful for everything he has done. The Freezone IS NOT in an enemy condition or a non existence condition with the Independents. They are all very well aware of what is going on. They are in normal or above as a condition. To suggest they are in treason or anywhere below non e is just a false report. They have considered themselves Independents since they left the Church! Just because some of them post on a “Freezone” forum and used a different word for the activity does not discredit them as Independents.

  138. burnedbutnotbitter

Dani–no “alas in Hebrew” …I’m proud it’s in Hebrew…BTW it says “Mazel Tov” right above me folks…literally means “Good Luck” in English or traditionally,”Congratulations!”

  139. The Freezone is not a trademarked RTC institution. Whatever seminars you saw came from the person who put them on YOUTUBE. Do not charge every person in the Freezone with the responsibility for one person’s youtube seminars. You describe the Freezone and a one unit particle. These a loosely related terminals that are associated. They are associated terminals. Please do not view them as menacing particles, I think you have shifted space. You are outside of the Church now.

  140. AMEN!

  141. Thank you for the mention of the good auditors and C/S’s in the Freezone. At the last Freezone convention I went to there were eight class Vlll auditors there, two did the class Vlll course under L.R.H. he was their supervisor. If he thought they were O.K. enough to be called class Vlll’s, they are alright with me too.

  142. Oooo, we need baritones in our choir! Please join, Marty? 😉

  143. Beautiful! 😀

  144. I find it rather intriguing that the suppression the Dror AO Academy encountered with the goal of stopping the delivery of Scientology came not from psychiatrists, not from the pharmaceutical companies, not from the government… but from the “Church” of Scientology.

  145. Thank YOU for saying this, and doing so in a more articulate manner than I usually manage. 🙂

  146. If so they will be needing a snack!

  147. I like you, BMO!

  148. {hands Calvin a root beer…}

    🙂

  149. @The Oracle: Agreed. Making enemies is not this group’s stat.
As LRH said in HCO PL 14 Dec 1970 GROUP SANITY,
“Letting people INTO the group at large is the key to every great movement and bettered culture on this planet. This was the new idea that made Buddhism the strongest civilizing influence the world has seen in terms of numbers and terrain. They did not exclude. Race, color, creed were not made bars to membership in this great movement.
Politically the strongest country in the world was the United States, and it was weakened only by its efforts to exclude certain races or make them second class citizens. Its greatest internal war (1862-65) was fought to settle this point, and the weakness was not resolved even then.
The Catholic Church only began to fail when it began to exclude.
Thus inclusion is a major point in all great organizations.”

  150. Hello TO.
I meant out-of-comm in the way, that the FreeZone is long out of touch with Corporate Scientology and therefore they developed their own flavor of the activities. It’s like a different theta “ethnic” 🙂
I don’t mean it derogatory. A culture is the soul of a third dynamic.
I think the overall wins from the current 3rd dynamic dianetic session will bring all the Scientologists more and more in communication. Actually it is the case right now.
This is a new horizon we look at.
    Scientology is re-forming, indeed.

    ARC to you.

  151. Tony, I noted that quote as well because I feel I share a great deal of agreeable thought-space with Chuck while I cheer on the Indie movement. A believer can simply be one who supports the intentions of the teachings or postulates of another or a group. The implication does not necessarily mean one takes as personal truth or path the pronuniations of that other or the group.

I got railed on a few months ago for stating that I “believe in” Marty with the same arguments you are making, but that is not at all what I meant. Personally, I pick and choose what I wish from that voluminous tomes of LRH’s writings based on what resonates with me or what I have observed, and also what I “WANT TO BELIEVE” but I do not seek answers in his writings any more that I seek such wisdom from the Judeo-Christian bible, tea leaves, tarot cards, or the op-ed pages of my local newspaper. (However, I have found truth and wisdom from all these sources!… as well as – well, … bullshit.)

HOWEVER, I adamantly support the Indies and the Indie movement. If an OSA bot bothered to waste their time trying to tell me Marty’s eyes roll back into his head when he’s pissed (kee-RIST that was funny!) I would yawn in his/her face without bothering to listen to their dreck. That is because I have done my research and observed enough to make my own decision about Marty, the Indies, and many others – enough so to distrust what any OSA could tell me at this point.

I also have decided to be loyal; that means momentarily ignoring a few things and standing up for your buddies when a bully comes around. That is called an emergency, not a time for philosophical debate. DM and his Cronies attack my Indie buddies; I engage in defensive maneuvers, however symbolic. Once the battle has subsided then I might ask questions, (eg: OMG, did you REALLY flick a booger at him????) but that line of questioning first belongs within the confidentiality of the allied group. It is these instances where BELIEF in your chosen group, philosophy, decision, etc. plays a role in supporting and participating in a culture.

I am happy to continue elaborating if the above gibberish does not make sense. 😉

    Nancy

  152. Thank you for pointing that out. The op terms we face these days just happen to be other Scientologists that have been lured into an enemy condition against members of their own tribe. How clever of Mr. Miscavige! Turn the Scientologists on one another to handle population control. The staff against the DB public, Gold against RTC, RTC against Gold, Int against the FSO, Tom Cruise against the Int Execs, The Int execs against one another, the patrons against the life time members, the auditors against the execs, etc etc etc. Keep them at each other and off of him. Divided they fall.

Away from the C of S to regroup out here!

Because you see, we really do not want to unmock one another, our tribes, our ways, our systems and beliefs and our magic. We want to mock it all up! 🙂

  153. You are right on time and on the money honey! Standing Ovation!

  154. Thank you for clarifying. And ARC to you my fellow tribe member. XXOO

  155. Very Nice!

    I especially like,
“Several Old-Timers who have been off church lines for years, in despair they will never make it to OT, are now coming on our lines with enthusiasm.”

Now, that is what it is all about!

    Love from Texas

  156. It Is Unstoppable

No matter the varied assemblage of knowledge
No matter the multicolored hue of agreed upon symbols
No matter the antagonist’s virtue of dark
    No matter the boisterous overwhelm
No matter the masquerade of false perception
No matter the oppressive weight against it
No matter the harried screed leveled at the pilgrim’s voyage, from the twisted mind of the matter bound, body bound slave of solid forms

This innate power of soul force
    This surge of tsunami see
    This prime directive

This eternal caravansary of ever expanding awareness:

Moves through space and time with unstoppble force
Because it is Life Itself, looking for Itself, to resolve Itself, to free Itself.

As long as there is breath Man will seek Truth, Freedom, Soul, God.

No man can stop man from this Truth,

It Is Unstoppable because it is Life Itself

  157. You are right. Its not about creating enemies or anything of the sort. It was also incorrect, to have place all of Freezone under one umbrella. Although I am sure, we can agree, that altering the tech, does not produce results. Its also extremely bad PR for Scientology. Correct delivered PR, is of great importance. Scientology has a bad reputation, in the media and among the general public.

Listen to this, many of my friends are afraid to og into the AO. They honestly don’t think, they can walk out the front door again. There is so many mispreceptions. Now if you had Tony Robbins present Scientology ( which he has taken bits of for sure) and called it a different name. He would be getting non stop adulations from the crowds. Look at the Secret dvd, I thought wow a whole lot of parallels to Scientology. People are all over the secret. Scientology is on complete different level then anything out there. It has real tools and soultions.

  158. Written by Born-In-So. By mistake wrote the email name.

  159. I hear you. I am a big fan of Tony Robbins. His div 6 lectures sell out in the thousands and people pay thousands to attend them. He cares very much about others. People can sense this thing. I have watched the secret. There is a book by Claude Bristol called “The Magic of Believing” that was written in late 40’s. He explains psychometric phenomena in that book.He wrote some other books as well. It is all about what a person believes.

  162. Jean-François Genest

    Yes that is all true!
(Sorry, I was utilizing “tech/tools” info from LRH’s PDC lectures in my message)

  163. Dani,

Please send me your email, and I will introduce you to the academic(s) who are currently studying the freezone and independent Scientology.

    chuckbeatty77@aol.com

PS: any other freezone and independents wishing to be introduced, please email me also. Already, from the most informed new religion studiers, the freezone/indepenent Scienotlogy community is a “hot” new sub-subject of Scientology that is being sought out to write about.

  164. I don’t believe in the soul, thus I don’t believe in past lives nor future lives.

I believe the universe is a massive infinite recycling machine, and that it is all MEST, and everything gets recycled forever, into an infinite eternal number of variations, forever, so that everything in effect gets recycled into every other combination of things, forever. And that there is thus an infinite eternal symmetry of fairness to the universe, built into it, which goes on for eternity. That’s my own conclusion, and faith.

As an atheist, I like how Daniel Dennet, in his book “Consciousness Explained”, pages 33-35, covers the problem of the soul.

For Scientologists and the Scientology subject, I think it will all turn out alright, inevitably, since it’s sort of built into us, as human beings, to fix what is wrong.

The Scientology subject and movement’s bad parts, bad ideas and bad rules and bad policies and the entrenched institutionalized bad members’ and staffs’ bad behavior, all gets shucked out, eventually.

  165. Dear Tony,

I think the minimal Scientology believer believes in past and future lives (and knows that auditing helps one explore and relieve mental trauma and bad influences from one’s past lives).

Since I don’t believe in the soul, nor past lives, nor future lives, I’m not able to believe in the Bridge to Total Freedom.

I mean, really, I can so think with the Bridge to Total Freedom though, but I’m not a believer in the soul.

But I could defend the whole setup, top to bottom, admin or tech, simply because I know the material, and can speak the defense for it all. And I can see how others, and how LRH, could defend the whole movement that he created, also.

Take for instance the God question. To me, years ago, some Scientologist should have just put together a voluminous paper or chapter, or small book, going over ALL LRH mentions of God, Native State, No Games Condition, the lectures in the 1950s the one in particular about how we started off as the whole universe, then started to divide it in half, then half again, then half again; and the Factors, etc, etc. And the TIme Track Bulletin #1 reference about us all starting from our own home universes. And just lay it all out, all references. (And if you read “One Was Stubborn”, one of LRH’s 1940 short novels, it has a Native State or beginning of the universe type moment, for the main character.)

The catechism in What Is Scientology is boring and insufficient by a long shot, and it’s kinda weird and syrupy and fake answering the God question.

That’s what I mean, about being able to defend Scientology better than the damned What Is Scientology book catechism syrupy fake answers (FAQs).

  166. Freezone has pretty much the lower Bridge intact.

They diverge adding the Captain Bill (inspired by LRH) additional levels, I guess also channeled from LRH to Capt Bill, which go up way beyond.

But it’s still auditing, and solo auditing, and maybe less of the corporate Scientology’s (OT 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 is all on the subject it is on, which I’ll not mention, but official Scientology requires a whole lot MORE of it), as compared to Capt Bills additional OT levels that Ron’s Org people do.

Of course, LRH didn’t write those additional OT levels that Ron’s Org does.

Also the huddle and group postulating prayer or ritual that the Ron’s Org visitors to the Int Base did at their Int Base visit, that to me was a very striking interesting and more religious ritual than anything Scientology normally does!! The Ron’s Org postulating (praying) and hoping for good things for the Int Base staff who are suffering, , even though that might seem “squirrel” technically, and totally nutty or ineffective to someone like me who is an atheist, , in new religion history, it’s actually more pro humane and decent and religious like behavior.

Of course, the details that make freezone people, or the Ron’s Org people, who might be more “squirrely” than the new independents, sure, that all needs be kept in mind, but I’m an atheist observer.

  167. {gulp} I think I love you….

  168. Chuck, what does “atheism” have to do with a person “postulating” something? The two don’t seem related to me.

  169. ROFL! Great imagery, Calvin!
I recall a Peanuts cartoon of Snoopy, lost in the desert, hallucinating, and feebly crying out, “Root beer…. root beer….”

My personal version is “Guinness…. Guinness….”
    😀

  171. Wow Peggy, that is one helluva compilation. Who did that?

I am not a Scientologist ( I once was for 11 years from 1971 to around the Great Mission Genocide). But I am in total support of these free people working it out in the light of freedom from His Royal Biggness.

From a reincarnational point of view I see those attracted to Scientology as incarnations from a combination of Greek Reason and Eastern cultures.

As they assimilate into free thinking society, the responsibility of the evolution of their subject will be unavoidable. Those that “make the grade” will advance it’s dogma based on the new discoveries that Freed Beings inevitably will make.

I believe nothing in the universe is unchanging. There are some aspects of present dogma that will be “upgraded” according to the reevaluations of the ever expanding awareness of it’s free thinking practitioners.

At some point in the future, there will be a dogma conflict amongst the Indies. There will be Fundamentalist Scientologists, Reformer Scientologists, Corporate Scientologists and Rogue Synthesizers of various practices.

That is just how humans do it.

And in this advancement, of this particularly intellectual approach, that is Scientology, there will be great strides in the role of spiritual memory, that will advancing human understanding.

    Brian

  172. Thought: I had a guitar teacher and I asked him,” Jack, when will I be finished learning from you”? He said, “when you can disagree with me and prove to me that you are right.”

Thanks Jack for being one cool teacher! You allowed for me to advance beyond you.

Life is never stagnant. It is always expanding, ever evolving to higher states of accurate perceptions on the nature of so called “reality”.

  173. Li'll bit of stuff

Great to hear another muso announce himself!
Though I’m not, (a muso, actually I’m an artist!) I get a kick

  174. I’d love to Calvin, but I’m already dancing in the tiger’s den here. I don’t want to put fresh hamburger around my neck. This is an unscented dance:-)

  175. I’m the one working on that independent field study project and it’s for the purposes of further academic study in the vein of Scientology being a religious practice vs. an alternative form of mental health therapy. The intended audience is world religion college students, as well as ministers/pastors/priests/rabbis in the mainstream religions.

FWIW a better link to my full collection of publications so far and related documents is here: http://www.scribd.com/collections/3084764/Scientology-Religiosity-Series

Not really the type of stuff I would expect this community to have much use for, but thank you Peggy for giving it a plug over here anyway.
