Many have speculated why the Miscavige obsession with our family is so intense and seemingly inexorable. Miscavige has spent millions in a variety of forums attempting to explain or justify it. The writings on that score in his publications, legal threats to media, and legal pleadings and utterances from his PR hacks and agents – including the deep ranks of expensive attorneys – are so far-ranging, self-contradictory and red herring in nature, that they are unhelpful in discerning the answer to the question: why such an obsession? Yet, the answer is apparent, by the repeated expression of our objectives right here on this blog as well as in a number of media interviews. Below are several excerpts and links to support the ideat that the motivation for Miscavige’s mania lies in his need to resurrect the effectiveness of Scientology’s domestic terror apparatus.

To stand and communicate one’s convictions and defend the rights of other friends to do the same is the remedy for Miscavige’s brand of terrorism. It can make one feel healthier and more whole. If enough people follow your lead, it will lead to the end of the Scientology reign of terror.
September 26 2009, Independent Scientologists Community:
People who have simply exercised their abilities to be there and comfortably confront when faced with Church intimidation tactics – and not allowed themselves to be drawn into flash fights and the resultant creation of ridges – have as-is’d the invaders. That has happened most frequently when the person being targeted by the Church has the comfort of knowing he has people who are behind him or her with unconditional love. It is quite remarkable.
I am fairly certain that if a decent percentage of independent Scientologists stand up, identify themselves, and freely associate with like-minded friends in the light of day at least three things will happen:
a. Many individual lives will regain meaning. Many more lives still will reap the gains from each of us who independently and freely use Scientology with no other motivation than to help others reach higher states of beingness.
b. Scientology (the subject and community) will experience a renaissance within society at large.
c. Miscavige’s church will be forced to either radically reform by reversing its suppressive operating basis or face its inevitable demise (note the intransitive is used; it is not because of anything that you or I will do to it that will cause it other than being their comfortably – it will be a self-inflicted fate).
February 1 2010, The Underground Railroad Goes Overland:
One primary purpose behind encouraging people to overtly declare their independence was to break the back of the mafia-like protection racket run by the C of M. That is, to help people get out from under the black cloud of intimidation and threatened execution of forced disconnection for purposes of breaking Scientologists’ wills and independent thought processes. The idea has proven workable. Each person who overtly straightens his back demonstrates to many more how incapable the C of M is to ride straight backs. For each who does so overtly, dozens more begin to straighten their own by witnessing it can be done without serious repercussion and seeing tall walking people blossoming.
January 21 2011, Confront of Evil:
The pathetic and empty nature of their threats serves as confirmation of my oft-repeated analysis: AS INDEPENDENTS BECOME MORE NUMEROUS AND COURAGEOUS, RADICAL SCIENTOLOGY’S RESOURCES TO HARASS WILL BECOME MORE DISSIPATED AND THEIR “ATTACKS” WILL BECOME LESS AND LESS EFFECTIVE. And so it has played itself out in that fashion.
August 18 2011, Why The Obsession?:
People who have been following this blog for some time understand that this is a message I have often repeated: when enough real Scientologists stand up and be heard as Independents, Miscavige’s resources will be spread so thin trying to intimidate them that his actions will be so ineffectual that the world will see there is nothing to fear from Radical Corporate Scientology.
It apparently has come to pass that from Miscavige’s perspective too many people have stood up and been counted so that Scientology has lost its terror-control factor. There are not enough resources to re-corral or make examples of all those who have stood and are continuing to do so, nor even a significant portion of them. Apparently, in the mind of Miscavige the only way to discredit the notion that Scientology can no longer hunt you to the grave if you dissent is to very visibly and thoroughly destroy the guy who widely and repeatedly asserted that there was nothing to fear – and the current state of affairs to gain – by standing up.
Moving On Up a Little Higher 
The CofS was very effective at ‘wack a mole’ when there weren’t very many moles. Now there are thousands, and DM can’t wack them all, and he knows that.
So, to solve that problem, DM creates another problem; trying to wack the mole that pisses him off the most; the individual who helped others to stand up and see the whacker was really wacked himself, and not much to fear.
Who can one contact to get some independent auditing?
Marty: In my opinion DM and the “Crazy 88” are obsessed with your for a couple of reaons:
1. DM Does not like the idea of you or anyone for that matter giving people a route to follow that “the church” is not in control of.
2. For people in the world that are confused enough to believe the church still DM and the church want to paint a picture of you or anyone that is “thinking outside the box” as unspeakable creatures that the public should be warned about.
I hope that the church realizes though, that they will be making more enemies than they will friends if they do this. And the Church of Scientology may go out of business, but the tech will live on forever and continue to be discovered and used, because of people like you and others that just made things go right with it. Doesn’t it seem odd too, that the church has all this tech and things never go right for them? I always thought they were pretty lame people.
I believe their main concern is for all the OT’s that drop the church and/or drop their bodies. What if they came back and decided to set up camp outside the church and made it go right?
That is the reason why.
If the world was a nice place to live people could leave and come back without a care anytime. 🙂
There is no Golden Age or renaissance with Miscavige, he is still applying the medieval, dark ages and barbaric “Head on a Pike” routine, as the Pope applied the Inquisition to handle the heretics.
And from a more simple perspective, such as a Church of Scientology’s ignorant jaded viewpoint, the Church of Scientology is comparable to drug trafficking which is only as good as there are people that use drugs. As long as their are confused, bewildered or weary people in the world, the Church of Scientology thrives. When people wake up from the trance, the scene oustide the coffee shop today, your house yesterday, the middle of the street last year, is the end result.

In his mind, his only hope to regain “face” is to “crush you like a bug.”
He has no doubt repeatedly bragged that you were a “nobody”, that you would “just disappear” that you “really wanted to come back to the church because it was the only thing good in your life”, that you were “going to have a mental breakdown” that he would goad you into doing something that would “put you behind bars.” And many other variations. Anyone who has ever spent time with the guy knows he has repeated these things OVER and OVER and OVER.
And now its an affront to his manhood that none of them has come true.
But he prides himself on “never giving up.” And this goes to the point of insane behavior. Thus, he will devote ridiculous amounts of time and money to “taking you out” because he HAS to be right.
He is going to be “right” about this, or die in the attempt.
And he is killing himself off as he presses forward with this obsessive “make right”….
It’s fascinating to watch. It is also VERY predictable.

Without question, you are “the guy who widely and repeatedly asserted that there was nothing to fear” if you stand up.
I have made more Clear, OT and OT VIII friends in the past 3 months than I did when I was “in” in 2005. These people have left, sometimes with their real names intact and sometime not because of of family disconnection, but always with their pride and self respect intact.
Auditing and training are being delivered out here in volume.

Hi Marty.
You and I have not really be in comm at all since 1996 when the Golden Age of Tech was first released at Flag. I met you there as one of the RTC personnel overseeing the release when I was the West US management representative (A/Tech Aide WUS) at the Snr C/S conference and release event. You were rather intense but helpful at the time and our paths never crossed directly again.
So here we are, both out of Scientology and both speaking out against it. The Golden Age of Tech, Arbitraries Removed, Wake Up Call, the Basics, Ideal Orgs and now GAT II (all Miscavige programs) have all been revealed to be utter failures and the Church has now deteriorated into nothing but a pure money-making machine with no thought or even pretense that it is doing anything else these days.
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for helping to pave the way and give me the courage to speak out recently under my own name. I had been posting for months under two other pseudonyms and OSA even “busted” me for one of them when they found out. Initially I tried to go the route of cooperation and stopped posting, but even after trying to “toe the line” they disconnected me from the one person I loved more than life itself and that was the living end for me. It was clear that they would stop at nothing to control people’s lives. And for what? So they can have the freedom to terrorize people and make money. It’s the most disgusting charade of a “religious movement” that has ever existed on earth.
It was your actions and your standing up to the head of RCS that brought their dirty tricks and horrifying tactics to light unlike any other earlier effort to do so. Make no mistake, we are all thankful to those who have been fighting this fight for decades – the Paulette Coopers and Arnie Lermas and Tory Christmans of the world. Without their efforts, I doubt we would have made it this far. But that doesn’t negate the profound effects your wife’s court case has been having in making a safe environment for all of us to finally speak out.

I agree. The only way to bring the insanity of the Church down, is for everyone that reads this blog to come out! It takes guts and everyone one of you can do it! You will feel like a new person when you stand up and speak the truth. You will be de PTSed! I remember when I finally just said that’s it, I am done and I am not afraid of this bully!
I lost my daughter and step daughter but I have my integrity and I have my life back! I have been spied on, followed, filmed, etc and guess what, it did not hurt me! I am no longer suppressed by the Church because I DECIDED that I am not going to be abused or watch others be abused by the Church.
I can feel, speak and make decisions again. I can watch TV and freely look at the internet. If you think that you can read Marty’s, Tony’s and Mike’s blogs and do nothing you are very mistaken. You are enabling David Miscavaige! He is a bully, as a group, we need you to speak out. We are at the tipping point. So much is happening now, the Church does not have the man power to go chasing around a bunch of honest, courageous people that are speaking out.
You KNOW what it is like inside the Church, step outside and enjoy the rest of your life!

But at last he determined to put a bolder face upon his misfortune, and summoned all the foxes to a general meeting to consider a proposal which he had to place before them. I think the obsession goes beyond a mere pissing contest between DM and Marty. If one views themselves as bring above the law and in command of formidable resources, then one should be able to impose one’s will upon anyone. And if the measure of power (i.e. influence) is determined by the number of people who listen to you and comply with your dictates despite the facts, then the dwindling number of people who listen and comply and the growing number of those who balk and rationally criticize indicate a lack of any real power.
Applying those false data (i.e. being above the law and possessing undue influence) inexorably demonstrates in practice that one is not above the law irrespective of resources; the more one’s will is imposed, the more it is rejected; and popular rejection combined with illegal conduct are influence killers. It is the refusal to face those realities that results in the obsessive attempt to somehow demonstrate those false data to be true, lest one’s construct of reality and self-image fold like a house of cars.
Accordingly, he who most effectively challenges those false data, regardless of who they may be, gets designated as a terminal to discharge upon. Thus, the obsession is more about asserting the validity and protecting the rightness of a reality and self-image that are known to be built upon clay feet than about a vendetta against any particular individual. Unfortunately, the breakthroughs within the subject of Scientology and the resources of the Church itself get squandered into obscurity in the process by the avarice of its own Frankensteins.
I have been getting auditing in the independent field from Dexter Gelfand. I was just telling him what a relief it was to be getting auditing outside of the church; to really be able to think and say whatever I wanted to.
I remember in the days when Marty was posting more regularly, there was a push from him to get people to audit again. I have not yet taken that up, but, like I said, I am getting auditing, and it IS fun again. So, that’s a first step.
I don’t any longer have that miserable feeling that the planet’s a horribly messed up place and we are it’s only potential saviors. It just is not true!
The world’s a marvelous place with amazing people.
I don’t know that anyone ever will be able to pull off all the things we once dreamed about in being “full OT”: total full cause over MEST and theta, subjectively, objectively and rah dee dah. There’s nothing even close to that’s been true for anyone anywhere, and I don’t even think anyone truly wants that.
The REAL capabilities of Scientology are good enough for me. Scientology can help just about anyone feel better. For some of these, a LOT better! And then for some of those, even a LOT better than that! And then… ad infinitum.
It’s not to Scientology’s benefit or to anyone’s benefit to say it is better than anything else, because that would not be possible to say unless one had actually tried everything else. No one has and no one could.

Q 17: WHAT IS PROBABLY THE MOST EMPOWERING LIFE SKILL?
The truth which defines our world and by which we live, regardless of how it may seem, is determined by the “angle” of our perspective and not by the “actual facts” of existence.
Reality (truth) from the human perspective is contextual and it is mindset which determines context. To understand the Anatomy of Mindset is to know the origin of our truth on which is based our beliefs and assumptions – our choices and actions – our feelings and motivation.
Feeling down, depressed, afraid, confused, bored, content, confident, ecstatic or amorous? In each case how you feel emanates from what your truth is at the moment. As implied by the old adage; the glass is seen as either half full or half empty. How the glass is seen – how anything in existence is seen – is determined by the prevailing mindset. Not only does beauty lie in the eye of the beholder, but so does the meaning, relevance and value of it all.
Changing our mind changes our orientation – our perspective, and consequently also our truth and life experience. Even a minor shift in mindset can change how we see and consequently how we experience life. Our sense of self can be changed from that of a victim of circumstances to an empowered participant in the game of life by a simple shift in perspective. A close look at the Anatomy of Mindset – the role of mindset in shaping our reality – leaves one in little doubt that achieving mastery over mindset – mastery over perceptions – the ability to change one’s mind at will, must qualify as the most empowering life skill.
I have observed Miscavige operate on the premise of “pushing to the limit to see how far it can go.”
He does with punishments. He has sentenced people to do the RPF 3x !
When someone is hurled into SP Hole, they are there for YEARS.
When someone like Foster Tompkins or Charlie Rush got in trouble, they were sentenced to the galley *for their lifetime*.
Auditors lose their certs and taken off tech lines “for their lifetime.”
The reg cycles encouraged by the sociopath prove this every day.
Rape the finances down to the bone of the public for scandalous scams such as the “IAS”.
Expensive buildings are done and re-done and re-done pushing all workers to the limit.

I think Marty is playing a different game. It’s called “Moving on up a little higher”. It’s just that Miscavige happens to be a rogue opponent in the game, a stellar and very visible example of powerlessness.
And the most delicious irony in the whole thing is that the person who could finally take him down has never been a member of the church. Many are hoping anyway. If it comes to pass, it will be DM’s own doing. Yet, he will never see that. Amazing to be in such a position of power yet so blind at the same time.
Scientology – through the words of LRH, followed closely by dm, presents itself as an “Imperial Religion” … a religion that IS an empire.
In order to maintain this imperialism there must be force which easily and almost always becomes violence. (think Inquisition)
And as this imperialism started to crack, first with the death and obvious mortality of its founder, LRH, the violence grew.
Miscavige claims how he and he alone ensures the ORTHODOXY of scientology and thus the salvation for the souls involved.
Orthodoxy is becoming less and less THE WAY of the religious world. (check out what Pope Francis has to say, for example) In its stead is ORTHOPRAXY — a Greek word meaning “correct action/activity” or an emphasis on conduct, both ethical and liturgical, as opposed to faith or grace etc. While orthodoxies make use of codified beliefs, in the form of creeds, and ritualism more narrowly centers on the strict adherence to prescribed rites or rituals, orthopraxy is focused on issues of family, cultural integrity, the transmission of tradition, sacrificial offerings, concerns of purity, ethical systems, and the enforcement thereof. Marty the 2nd in command after years of silence spoke out. Exposing the violence and offered a benevolent form of scientology … free from ritualistic adherence to form with the intention only of help.
ORTHODOXY however skewered is the only possible method of dm. While hard cord former church members (still adhering to LRH) rant and rave that dms version ISN’T TRUE scientology … this very orthodoxy point of view is what has brought about religious wars and continues to today and is visible to those who have stepped away from the inside of the CofS.
It is only through an eye and heart towards correct action and activity can we hope to help ourselves and those around us. Correct action easily being defined, not as dualistic violent thinking, but rather the non-violence preached by Gandhi and Martin Luther King.

From my never-in viewpoint, what I see is an individual (Miscavige) who is acting like the ex-girlfriend from hell. Once you two worked together. Then you got out and the relationship ended. But he refuses to leave it at that. He would rather see you destroyed than happy and with someone else.
I in no way want to trivialize the trauma you have been through, and are still going through, but his actions seem to be “if I can’t have him, no one will.”
Your freedom, and your happiness, are the two silver bullets that have already slain the vampire. He just doesn’t know it yet. And like a rabid dog, he just can’t “let things go.”
You are setting a fine example for others, M&M. And while he concentrates his waning firepower on you, no doubt others still in have a far better chance of leaving the mental prison that is the current Church of Scientology.

I do not know if these feelings are caused by myself, body chemicals, some restimulation by accident or external influence.
At least, someone with similar thoughts and feelings will not stand up, state openly his viewpoint and be brave, like factually me at this time.
Frankly I think Marty could care less about David Miscavige. Just because he wants to be himself and doesn’t feel he has to hide in the shadows, is no indication that he is in a games condition. I used to get this wrong item shoved down my throat every time someone pushed me and I pushed back in the Sea Org. And it PISSES me off. Some people just defend their personal space. Marty and his wife have been stalked harassed suppressed attacked and hassled for YEARS. They don’t owe it to David Miscavige to put up with his BULLSHIT.
When he buried Scientology underground in the vaults he sealed himself in there with it.
I mean, the fact that he was supposed to be putting it into the hands of the people and he burying it in holes was a wake up call for me.

Personally I do not even count myself as an
Indie as I am not a Scientologist any more. It’s
too cramped to lock into a particular mindset.
BUT DM will look at that list and say; “hi, they
cannot even get up to 500 in over 3 years and
we have millions in our church”. That’s the reason
I keep my name there and encourage others to do
the same. DM is extremely MEST oriented and that
473 figure on the 500 list shows him he does not
have to pay it any attention. Now if it suddenly went
straight up, then that would help disperse OSA’s and
DM’s attention units even if only enough to give us
more room to breathe. It is a way of giving thanks to
those who helped us with the process of getting out.

well, I had a couple of sessions, hung out had lunch every day with everyone…for a week… the word Theta comes to mind… -cost ?… Nufink!!

This scientology game is a real learning feast… from every angle…
I think Ron created the Ethics and Declare system… as ‘Fly paper’..
if one really is ‘suppresive’ or only into force, control and power… then you would be stuck in the church…
why ?… because if you were to leave… you would be declared… and a real suppresive (if there is such a thing)…’cannot afford to be labeled’
so they are stuck… and stay there for years… doing ‘some’ good… selling books… some good is still produced in the COS… comm courses etc…
so the ‘suppresive’ is stuck and disseminating.
This leaves the ACTUAL field open and free from suppresives who are now stuck on the fly paper. For real Auditing and theta work to procceed.

I think that as long as he believes or is led to believe that he has a chance of winning, he will continue to self-destruct. But at some point it may become too publicly painful or scary for him and he will pull back and try to spin it to his flock as a win. He may continue on a clandestine level. Street fighters know when to flee. Its more and more apparent with each passing year and engagement that this is a mismatch in Marty’s favor, for so many reasons and on so many levels.
Make no mistake, this is about the future of every man woman and child on this planet. This is about light and dark. Marty, Mosey , DM and others are cast in their roles for their own personal reasons. We are in our roles, active or not, for our own reasons. Spoiler alert: In the end the light wins. The sooner we all step up the roles we have or are willing to have or feel we should be playing, the sooner it ends.

And why we do so? because we are not tolerant of abuses on staff and public; because the perversion of the tech with only vested interests to make millions, as Black Heart has done for years now, is something we will never agree with and because we have courage, integrity and honor.

Interesting analysis, Marty. You are, in a sense, the nail that snagged the thread that began to unravel the cozy blanket of protection DM wrapped himself in for so long. Add in the Anons, the Debbie Cook email, the growing body of personal accounts by those who have left, and the increasing courage of the press in reporting on fraud and abuse in the cult, and that “blanket” is history. That leaves Dave squirming, with his butt hanging out in the breeze. Something must be done about that, right?
Of course, you can’t unring the bell, as they say. Nothing the cult does to you and your family can reverse the impact you have already had. It is just too late to accomplish anything but harassment, and Dave must know this. So there is likely some amount of spite involved in his decision making. And probably a lot of scapegoating, too. Narcissists like Miscavige cannot bear to acknowledge they have made a mistake. It generally makes them furious, and they look for someone to blame, and make a public example.
All of this, not to repair any damage done, but to establish that he is blameless and preserve his image. If things are spinning out of control, it is not because of bad leadership on his part. It is due to an unprecedented effort by “the enemy” to destroy them, and Marty Rathbun is the primary culprit. End of story, please donate to our “war chest” so we may prevail in our worthy cause.

You have touched on something here that has been bouncing around in my ‘head’ for some time. I have been concerned that the church would continue to stay just within the bounds of survival, living off a few ignorant loyal subjects, neither expanding nor significantly shrinking. Limping along, degrading public perception in a long, slow decline.
I basically agree with the idea of one or more well run, honest, competent groups promoting and assisting large numbers to spiritual improvement. CoS is currently hampering the possibility of that occurring.
A complete reboot seems necessary.

It has been my experience that evil does not always self destruct in a reasonable length of time. In the past there have been suppressive reigns of sorrow that have lasted for thousands, even millions of years. Until someone, or some many, brought their necessity level up to the point of doing something effective, the reign continued.

The Protestant break from Rome, the Anglican break from Rome, the splitting of Islam into Sunni, Shia, etc., the splitting of the Mormons into mainstream and fundamentalist, and so on. The Thirty Years’ War started as a clash between Catholics and Protestants (movie recommendation: The Last Valley, with Omar Sharif and Michael Caine is an interesting portrayal of this incredibly destructive war).
The point is that religions do not relinquish their power or monopoly easily.
In its behavior to destroy real or imagined threats and preserve its hegemony, Church of Scientology behaves as “wogishly” as “wog” could be: just like all of its “we have the only way” predecessors.

Good question! WHAT IS PROBABLY THE MOST EMPOWERING LIFE SKILL? My answer would be TAKING RESPONSIBILITY.
Only this morning during our “quiet time” we were looking at the word RESPONSIBILITY, and found as per the dictionary it comes from the word RESPOND, how different that word is to REACT. When we are unwilling or unable to change our mind set the chances are rather than having the ability to RESPOND we will invariably REACT.
I was interested that you mention “a shift in mind set” and “change one’s mind”. Scientology invites us to have a shift in mind set, however Jesus invites us to literally change our minds – REPENT. One requires UNDERSTANDING; the other requires SURRENDERING TO LOVE.

I am on the same page with you about communication to terminals. I have conversations with animals every day. Robots I steer toward something mechanical.
I have some strange ideas of my own that probably will not go over too well here. There is a price to pay for rent on this planet. And when a person is no longer of any value as a human to others, he becomes other things that are of value to others.
The first thing I did after I finished solo, was to go around and hold the cans and touch other things to see the reads. It was the only way I could I believe it. I became amazed. I found out everything is full of life. Even things that do not move.
Not certain where David Miscavige will find himself in his next life. But I am sure he will become useful to someone.

I knew I was winning. But I was ORDERED BY THE Senior C/S to STOP what ever I was doing because Blah-blah… I could not see that since I was winning and cognitions were there after each solo session. So I left the church and never looked back.

Wonderful hearing about your adventures, good and bad.You and I, it seems, are both fortunate in that we were not particularly troubled by BTs. Some are not so lucky. I believe OT-3 should not be a one size fits all. That what is needed is very different from one to the other.
I have been aware from time to time of beings who had their attention near me but not enturbulated by them. I have been looking back at times and have seen ‘memories’ that I recognized as not being my own. Some become overwhelmed by everyone’s bank flooding in on them.
I have discovered a love of all people and things which seems to make communication with others not enturbulating, whether attached to a body or not. I think that is one of the keys to completely handling the OT-3 / Solo NOTs area. There can be beings who have their attention on you, but you do not have to be enturbulated by their trying to enforce their comm lines. You CAN just TR-0 these lines. Affinity with all life is a big part of it. Love them until they cease to be a problem, rather than trying to get them away from you. Expand, rather than contract.
I have also discovered that there is a complete difference in an ARC break and choosing not to communicate. That was a great revelation when it occurred. Comm lines can be released without an ARC break, from present time comm lines, and also stuck comm lines from far back. That was one of the original intents of OT-8. It’s good to be able to relax after holding on to all these strings for so, so long.

David “Darth Midget” Miscavige was never Ron Hubbard’s “protege”. That claim comes from him and nobody else. DM was not even a Watch Messenger and the only experience he had working personally with Ron Hubbard was as a Cine Crew Cameraman.
DM couldn’t care less about Ron Hubbard’s policies, plans or desires except in the case where those can be used or twisted to support his own personal agenda. The Friends of LRH site has a page full of side-by-side comparisons of Hubbard’s policies and technical issues versus what DM actually does.
Mr. Gallagher is either completely misinformed or running PR air cover for DM.

Yes Oracle, That would be Ms. Devon Newman. It’s in the news that says most recently she cut a plea bargain deal and the judge gave her 1 year of probation on a lessor charge which wasn’t even a felony. A good deal for her. But I’m sure the guy she was connected to who it seems was causing most of the trouble will be in prison for a good spell. I knew Devon back in 1987-1988.

Perhaps I worded my previous post poorly. I wanted to impress the fact that there is a fundamental difference in breaking, blocking, refusing communication and simply not interacting with communication.
One can grant beingness to comm, TR-0 it, allow it to exist, allow it to pass without any enturbulation, case, obsession or compulsion or reaction.
George Burns said, as he played the part of God in the movie ‘Oh God’, when John Denver asked if he heard every voice of everyone, he said: “I hear, I don’t always listen.”
Blocking, refusing, being the effect of communication is at the opposite end of the scale from simply allowing it to be without necessarily listening. This was what I meant was key to the final resolution to OT-3.

Ummm, not exactly. I did a Red Cross Senior Life Saving Course once upon a time. They taught us to surface swim to victim, always keeping them in sight then when close but still well out of reach; dive below them to take hold of their ankles from behind; and climb up their back side whilst maintaining a firm hold. This method prevents them from having any chance at seizing the rescuer.
Using this technique, I once saved a drowning drunkard at Pirate’s Cove on the North side of Point Dume in Malibu, California. He was maybe 25 yards outside the surf line during very bad storm surf conditions from a Mexican hurricane. I’m glad I was properly trained, even though I was not a “lifeguard”.

Oracle please note I left out ”power” because in my understanding of power is not as same as in human understanding. Power is actually force against force here on Earth. Mass pushes other mass, replace it.

Oracle.. the grandiose feeling, that what one can do is not from what one can achieve here pushing around some condensed energy-mass, but one has reality inner knowingness that, yes I can because I have achieved. Same with the believes that cant die have that inner feeling, and when these persons realise that they will die, that is a total loss, fear-desperation takes over and the need to change that condition somehow.
The knowingness is taken over by the though beliefs that we die… because we thought that we do… but only the body stops working, kicks the bucket.

I get what you are saying. It is true that being a member of the Church, one is expected to be preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, and ideal love. This is all all guaranteed “up the road”. “At the top of the bridge”. It is called “being upstat”. But this was not the way it was when I got involved. The “status” had not been introduced beyond the grade chart. It was simple then, people just wanted to get auditing or audit other people. We were fine to be hippies and druggies, poets, wanderers rebels and misfits. If anyone has bought the Church into being PTS to the middle class, it is David Miscavige.
I agree the spiritual experiences have been worth a lifetime of effort. I feel very lucky to have stumbled across this path. I still point others to explore this path. Thank you for being here Elizabeth.

DM was taking heavy steroids as treatment for his severe asthma. One of the known adverse reactions of those is the stunting of growth, which is plainly evident in his case. Another known adverse effect is violent mood swings, so that might possibly explain the origin of his behavior patterns, which were well established before he became a Commodore’s Messenger.
In any case, the above article is about David Miscavige, not Ron Hubbard. Ron Hubbard is not the person obsessed with the Rathbuns. Ron Hubbard is not the person spending millions IA$ dollars stalking and harassing the Rathbuns. And, when all is said and done, it will be David Miscavige and not Ron Hubbard doing the perp walk when he is finally busted for his criminal acts or perhaps being locked in the rubber room or shot down (like the rabid cur dog he is) after he suffers a final psychotic break and maybe tries to mass murder the INT Base staff.

That is the heart and soul of every ‘Constitutional’ argument his cult makes. He will continue to slide on this basis until such time that someone(s) with enough savvy, resources, stamina and staying power puts period to that streak.

Running around disfiguring his statues and publicly railing against Lenin is not going to stop the Georgians from being starved to death. Neither is defaming Ron Hubbard and publicly railing against him going to halt or hinder the ongoing crime spree of David Miscavige in any way.

History has taught us that the world in general is not always self correcting. Evil, suppression, sociopaths, tyrants etc. may self destruct but as I mentioned before, not always in a reasonable length of time. Dark times in the past have often lasted for hundreds or thousands of years.
People, generally are not basically evil nor particularly brave. Unless one is in the lens of attack, he generally just wants to get along and get by.
But in all periods of history, there have been a few who would not stand by and watch his family and peers subjected to injustice. A natural sense of right and a driving desire to stop obvious wrong, despite personal danger and threatened loss of possessions. Those who love their fellows and have a serious pair of stones, whether male or female.
By your actions, Marty, you have demonstrated to be one of the few.
History has also revealed that a single individual is rarely successful against tyranny without assistance. A group working in concert can be much more effective. This is obvious.
You have not asked for assistance on a broad scale other than a few papers and bits of data. I do not know your actual strategies. But I am certain there are a few individuals with the insight and necessity level to be of great help. You have access to a great network of able and motivated people. Your struggle is our struggle as well. By our writings, over time, you can tell which of us are sincere.
A call to arms may or may not be your path, but is worth considering, whether leader, or ignitor. Since Independents are all on their own paths, it may seem like organizing us would be like herding cats. But united by a true and just purpose, you might just be surprised.

I am a Purif supervisor and an Independant who has put a lot of effort in observing just what is there.
The primary property of niacin as relates to the purif is that it expands the capillaries, allowing increased blood flow deep into and out of tissues. This does have the effect of removing at least some chemicals which become stuck. There may or may not be other beneficial or perhaps harmful properties, but it does do this pretty well.
I have seem many people greatly helped by this program. I have seen some who didn’t really need it. I have not personally seen persons harmed by this, other than time consumed. There have been reports of some problems, a couple of fatalities I believe?
