Touretzky – professor at Carnegie Mellon University. Note that it is titled “DR”. That stands for Daily Report. There are dozens of these daily reports in OSA INT files on Touretzky. There are hundreds of such reports on more effective critics. There are thousands of these types of reports on those critics whom David Miscavige considers a threat to himself personally and who have withstood Scientology’s wrath over time. Ask yourself: should United States taxpayers be subsidizing an organization that spends its considerable dollars on such hijinks? Dear Sir,
This is an update on Touretzky.
Feedback on Touretzky: Greenway claimed that the producer of the MSNBC show Touretzky was on a last week was impressed with Touretzky’s performance and wants to use him for any future shows on Scientology. Greenway said that she wants Touretzky to become the “voice of the critics” and not Lerma or Tory (she hates both of them). Greenway that the Church never leaves Touretzky alone. She said that she never asked him about the dildo which some CMU students put up on a website. She thinks the Church made up the dildo invoice and sent it to Schwarz.
Greenway was told that it really looks like some disgruntled CMU student who has a bone to pick with Touretzky put up the website (a site by a “student” critical of DST). Greenway insisted that it is done by the Church (Greenway is upset about the CMU students’ website and the dildo’s exposure). Greenway talked about how the Church has gotten numerous letters sent to CMU about Touretzky including one from Hillary Clinton asking that he be fired, but CMU still stands behind him because they don’t care what he does on his free time. (This is a falsehood as he does not perform all of his anti-Scientology activities during his free time and we have documented evidence showing that he is doing it from CMU).
Greenway said that every time Touretzky does something against the Church he sends the legal department at CMU a packet of information concerning his activities so that they are briefed when the Church contacts them about this.
Following are updates on the handling steps previously laid out:
1. Get the NY PI to relay the article on Cohon and get the feedback from his media contacts about getting it printed.
The NY PI spoke with his contacts at UPI and AP. They have received the proposed article and said that they are going to research and then submit it to their editors. The PI reminded both of his contacts that Touretzky is [ deletion of salacious – quite apparently false – accusation], and then we are going to have another Columbine because of him. The contacts agreed and said they will get back to the PI about the story.
2. The alumni to complete going through the records and find alumni they can trust to brief and activate on DST.
Another Scientologist alumnus was found. His name is Christopher Rath. He will be contacted and activated.
3. Debug done on getting a resource on the chat room.
This prediction line has been debugged. We now have a person that is on IRC and he has set up a totally secure connection and the line is operational to log the chat sessions. DST is still active on this chat daily.
4. FOIA request project written and started with at least 2 FOIA requests filed.
Seven FOIA requests were filed with the NSF on people that are connected to Touretzky as they either worked with Touretzky in the past or are currently. The people are: Walter Schneider, Tai Sing Lee (CMU Computer Science Dept.), James McClelland (Psychology Dept & CNBC Director), Julie Fiez (Pitt Psych Dept), William Skaggs (Pitt Neuro Science Dept), Daniel Simons and G. Bard Emerntrout.
5. Get out the new requests to NSF on the “desk audit” CMU did at NSF’s request on Touretzky’s grants and get out the new request for data on Scientology. (This is a follow up on a cycle that had been dropped earlier).
The new request was drafted and was sent to [deletion – attorney information] for ok. [deletion – attorney information] Two went out from the Church and the third one will go from a private individual.
6. Get Freedom the rest of the briefing materials on Touretzky that is needed for them to put an article together about DST/CMU.
The materials were put provided to Tom Whittle who is researching and drafting an article on Touretzky and CMU.
7. Get current students and parents of current CMU students located for the purpose of getting these parents briefed on Touretzky and willing to take actions.
No current CMU students or parents of CMU students have been found so far. The PI in Pittsburgh is checking with various contacts and comm lines he has to locate them. The PI has closed and started a resource who is a student at CMU who is doing a special training on computer systems at CMU. The resource is 43 years old and he will be used to befriend Touretzky, and find names of current CMU students who can then be surveyed to get their parents contacted and stirred up.
8. Offensive postings continued.
BS continued to push her message about Jared Cohon condoning Touretzky.
9. John Fisher (alumnus) meeting at CMU.
On Saturday alumnus John Fisher’s, was further briefed and prepped for his meeting this week with two CMU faculty members (Fisher was called to CMU to assist in so matters related to the university). Fisher was given a briefing pack about Touretzky and he would take up Touretzky’s actions with these faculty members and get them to agree to take action. John Fisher will be back in LA on Thursday morning and we will then get his debrief and work out the next action.

This is completely disgusting. I am so sick of them having tax exemption and using that money to further this insidious agenda. If that professor has tenure, it would take a LOT for the university to let him go. Especially if they are at all familiar with CO$ dirty tricks.
I would love to see a blog done with any kind of advice you could give on where to start with getting the tax exemption removed. You are a wealth of knowledge. Something in this area would be helpful. There are a LOT if people who would jump on it.
OSA is a strange group, because it is composed of weird people. The DSA NY spied on me and my family for 10 years at a business she ran under the table up the street from my house with other members of the church in New York, BEFORE she “gracefully” accepted the post of DSA NY. Can you imagine using ME, Lawrence, as an excuse to hold job in an Org?! 🙂 I sat down with my famly and discussed it. Obviously they were afraid of me for some reason. I breathed a sigh of relief when I learned this. And concurrent with this, one looks around the globe at CMU and sees that wherever there is an OSA nearby one finds these deranged activities going on. It is like saying “I got into Scientology to get rid of the causes of all the negative tendencies I have, so that now when I do these things I know it is for the church and the greatest good and not some part of my bank I am listening to. For a while I was doing DRs (Daily Reports) on Alan Walter and “Monte Drake – Private Investigator” operations (his employee infiltrated the Alan Walter group in Nacona, TX – Knowledgism).
The Private Investigator expenses were enormous. Multiply this by every West US and East US DSA, and add Flag, and you get a picture of millions of dollars per year going into this nonsense “non-profit-church” activity worldwide (I imagine that Germany alone, at certain times might have matched or exceeded any USA sector).
Very little ever turned up – most of it personal to Alan and nobody’s business. Yes, Alan was somewhat money-oriented – money-motivated, but he was not “out-exchange.” He had happy clients – more so than the church percentages, by far. He audited rich elites, but also made very sure that his center and ranch were affordable and open to all.
Alan Walter never really attacked the church and had to completely re-write the tech in a new language – at his own time and expense – to try to make the church happy (yet they still hounded him with organizational infiltration to the end of his life).
Security about all this was hyper-fanatical. I had to speak of this in whispers, use initials ‘ACW’ rather than his name, and…
Once when I copied my superior (Pam Bowen) on a test encrypted e-mail (“Hello – is this working?”) to Monte Drake, I was reprimanded for “out-security” and told never to send anything – even encrypted. DUH! The program we drew up specified that’s how we would communicate and yet… – the hyper-paranoia on all that was surrrrrreal.
I well remember this Pam gal – how she would audibly gasp(!) in horror every time I dared point out how silly it was, how we sometimes went about things. She was one serious…(yah-no-what-I-mean?)… and in her mind I guess, I was a “loose cannon.”

Communists by rule, are anti religious. Until recently, in communist countries, religion was illegal. My husband grew up in a communist country and had to buy a Bible on the black market (and keep it very hidden to be read in secret).
Bella Dodd is a famous former communist agent whistle blower and explains how part of the communist plan was to infiltrate churches to bring them down. Communistic structures in themselves are as anti religious as it gets. Work is enforced and people must carry little passport type of books which keep their employment status up to date. Police are allowed to stop anyone anytime for interrogation on whim. If you are caught not working you are hauled off to prison. If you do not report your neighbors for wrong doing, you are held accountable as well for the wrong doing.
The Sea Org Government has slid further into communism now with the demand that people surrender their civil rights if they choose to be “part of the group” (Sea Org Group). As the rest of the world rises above communism and places it on the shelf as an unworkable solution, the Sea Org slides further into it’s practices. Removing themselves from the government the rest of us coordinate with and separating itself from the constitution and surrendering their rights. All the while with CCHR promoting itself as a human rights voice! See this clause in the latest laws enforced on all staff:
“…. I also know that I am giving up forever some very important personal rights under the United States Constitution. But I also understand that I would not be permitted to serve as a member of the Church staff unless I agreed in advance to the terms of this Non-Disparagement Covenant.”
Well, first of all, what a waste of time. I am sure nobody signing this was provided with an attorney for legal advise and being dependent upon the “Church”, is a form of duress. So, It just turns out to be a testament as to the true nature of David Miscavige. Probably the worst P.R. I have yet seen for the “Church”. It may be the cause for revocation of tax exempt status. Forcing people to surrender their constitutional, civil, and human rights crosses WAY BEYOND the line between Church and State. This should be sitting flat in the middle of the Attorney Generals’ desk as a 911.
But, for all of the I.A.S. threats issued to group “members”, Note, no longer “followers of L. Ron Hubbard”, that place gets away with murder (literally) and they are not considered a threat to anyone since David Miscavige took over. And trust me, they KNOW EVERYTHING.
If grown assed adults want to live on tampon allowance, eat bad food, dress up in military clothes, play 007 Bond games, volunteer to be bitch slapped pimped in the ground and abused by a sociopath, that happens to be their RIGHT too. And I will not be any more popular to point out, the people who volunteer for this type of masochistic lifestyle can turn real sadistic towards others when they choose. It is a sado masochistic type of situation. And that is exactly how it viewed by the general public at this point.
That said, the “Church” is NOT a success business enterprise. Sorry, it just is not. If they ever had to pay fair wages the place would have folded half a century ago. It is not hard to keep the front doors open when you have no payroll to speak of, except for your COB and his legal and living expenses, although David is extremely high maintenance. They can not survive now even selling and delivering Scientology, the place floats on donations and David has run the place into poverty otherwise by destroying it’s P.R. or and good will it could have previously claimed. He has covertly bankrupted the place and covered it up with beggars.
Hubbard was not a successful businessman before he wrote Dianetics. I am not sure how much of the fault is his business plans or the staff that never finished high school or read a book and wanted to be abused. Or abuse others. But the combination has been a disaster.
I am still at a loss for words for people who thought exploring Scientology was a trip to heaven and Hubbard was God. For Christ’s sake the guy had a driver’s license and social security card. Go figure. Talk about a wrong item on a list. No wonder……. Anyone reading the sec checks he mocked up could figure out that guy was a long way from “holy”. And that doesn’t concern me. But some folk thought he was supposed to be holy because he was supposed to God and are thoroughly dismayed to discover, No, no holy man here either. Frankly, not sure if one exists at all. And I have no interest in being one myself. What a fraud.
All of that said, I think Hubbard was way off when he said, “You can’t be half in and half out of Scientology”. I did it and it worked out fine for me.
I am still getting auditing. I have not been disappointed. The rest is just crazy.

Once the Faith was destroyed, she explained that there would be a guilt complex introduced into the Church…. to label the ‘Church of the past’ as being oppressive, authoritarian, full of prejudices, arrogant in claiming to be the sole possessor of truth, and responsible for the divisions of religious bodies throughout the centuries. This would be necessary in order to shame Church leaders into an ‘openness to the world,’ and to a more flexible attitude toward all religions and philosophies. The Communists would then exploit this openness in order to undermine the Church.”

I tried to imagine requiring something like that of my juniors (I’ve overseen close to 100 or more people at times). I decided what works for me is a different kind of management and leadership.
It does make me wonder about her campaign to FOIA-spam the government on a variety of topics. While it was crazy on the surface, it was a good way to “ping” to see if any records existed, and since she had sued RCS and had a crazy story, there was no provable connection.
They could hardly deny it. All email to RFW passes directly through the Church of Scientology servers, and the contact with Prolexic in 2008 would probably give the game away too.

I think you took the “LRH is god” thing too literally. I doubt people came into Scientology (in the 60s and 70s at least) with that thought or purpose in mind, but rather came to believe or act that way by bowing to peer pressure and being in the Scientology environment. It is complex PR over a long time, not necessarily an initial purpose.
I grew up in there, and was inculcated to admire LRH as flawless from the start. I never consciously saw him as god but like I said earlier, this is what it boils down to when you take away the denial.
I don’t know about a trip to heaven, but a “bridge to total freedom” sounds like he one-upped the Catholic Church on that score.

INVESTIGATION BY OUTSIDE SOURCES
Overt investigation of someone or something attacking us by an outside detective agency should be done more often and hang the expense. It’s very effective. Often investigation by a private detective has alone closed up an entheta source or a squirrel organization. In fact at this writing I can’t remember a time when it hasn’t!
PROCEDURE ON ENTHETA PRESS
In the case of a bad magazine article which is signed, use the following procedure:
1. Tell them by letter to retract at once in the next issue.
2. Hire a private detective of a national-type firm to investigate the writer, not the magazine, and get any criminal or Communist background the man has. (Because all subversive activities foolishly use criminals they “have something on” and men who have been paid to attack us, you’ll have data incoming from the detective agency if they do their work well.
3. Have your lawyers or solicitors write the magazine threatening suit. (Hardly ever permit a real suit – they’re more of a nuisance to you than they’re worth.)
4. Use the data you got from the detective at long last to write the author of the article a very tantalizing letter. Don’t give him your data on him. Just tell him we know something very interesting about him and wouldn’t he like to come in and talk about it. (If he comes, ask him to sign a confession of collusion and slander – people at that level often will, just to commit suicide – and publish it in a paid ad in the paper if you get it.) Chances are he won’t arrive. But he’ll sure shudder into silence.
5. Give any new data you have from the detective to your attorneys for their use against the magazine.
Don’t let the whole matter disrupt you, take much time, or upset the central organization.
INVESTIGATING A SQUIRREL
A person or an organization using Dianetics or Scientology wrongly or
without rights, or a wildcat magazine, is best shut down or shut up by hiring a private detective. Tell the detective “We don’t care if they know you’re investigating them for us. In fact, the louder the better.” Detectives cost dozens of dollars or pounds. They save thousands.
When you get their data, give it to your attorneys for any action they want. Or post it.

There was no response from them, which is what we expected. I sent it as step one — so they can’t say, “We didn’t know,” etc. When the trap eventually springs shut, there will be no way for them to wriggle out.

The basic outness in Scientology is it only gives “lip service” to God. The bible does not say “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” for nothing. Epignosis not gnosis is what is required.
I agree you can only be IN IT, OUT OF IT, or OF IT. Me, I choose to be IN IT, whatever the church says. That is both the Christian Church and the Scientology Church.
Is this getting to the people who can do something about it? The police, lawyers, CMU?
