Since then I have learned to work with available AI chatbots as a means to enhance investigation, research and discovery rather than to replace it. I believe it is at that exact point where AI turns from a potential liability into an asset. When one reveres it as something worthy of replacing one’s own judgement and line of curiosity, ala the ‘superintelligence’ Mark Zuckerberg is presently pimping, one is headed for slavery. On the other hand, if one uses its greatest features as a servant it can serve useful purposes. Those feature today are its unparalleled ability to rapidly and accurately sift through massive amounts of data, sort it and evaluate it without bias or emotion.
Emotion is a completely natural thing and not something to be avoided or suppressed. Emotional intelligence is important for personal interactions and implementation of solutions when they have effects on people. There are exceptions, however. For example, when one is required to apply straight reasoning to come to a logical conclusion about the facts of a matter, emotion can and does alter truth. Well-constructed AI platforms offer an incredible tool for a) sifting through mountains of data to find specific important facts (finding and separating signal from noise), and b) evaluating those facts without bias or emotion.
While utilizing AI, some things have to be kept in mind and compensated for. First, not all AI platforms are equal. There are only two that I have found to be comprehensive, consistently accurate, and unbiased. Those are X’s AI platform called “Grok”, and Chat GPT. Caveat: over the past several months programming changes have been introduced by Grok to make it far more obedient to Establishment narratives (perhaps reflective of Musk’s recent taming by economic forces). The second concern is that even those platforms are held back by the data they must rely upon. That data in large part is dominated by the arrogance and politics/vested interests infected media, intelligentsia and academia (the generators of much of the current internet data banks). But, intelligently lead conversations can cut through a lot of that with appeal to Chat GPT’s logic, largely uninfected by bias and emotion. By contrast I have found Microsoft’s Copilot AI to be largely incapable of looking and “thinking” outside the Overton windows established by the Establishment. Even worse is Google’s Gemini. It has so thoroughly programmed in political correctness and wokeness that its Artificial Intelligence is in truth a liability.
Grok and Chat GPT may in fact represent a window of opportunity. That window is open only so long as those AI platforms are not monetized. When they are they will be as defective, debilitated and destructive as Google search has now become. Google search has become a whoring tool of corporations to forward pavlovian consumerist behavior on the part of users. It also enforces deep state, globalist political correctness and wokeness in exchange for protecting its monopoly on search. For straight information, Google search is literally obsolete in the presence of Grok and Chat GPT. But, beware. Corporatized Globalist interests (including Wall Street) are coming hard for Grok and Chat GPT.
During this window of opportunity I am using the most useable platforms to their fullest. I will add others as I find they meet the standards of Grok and Chat GPT, or others exceed them as they surrender to $.
I have a long series of articles planned over the next several months. It will likely proceed something like this. Each week I’ll post a comprehensive story. It will be followed by 2-3 receipts producers. That is, I will share some AI research – along with its factual citations – that backs up the article’s credibility and in some cases even expands on its theme. It is remarkable what you can learn when you explore topics with a super-informed entity without bias and emotion (something heretofore impossible in a media dominated environment). I think it will be eye-opening as we probe subjects that the Establishment (deep state, the media, and the Globalist-corporatists they serve) have long-since shut the Overton windows upon. Subjects upon which the media has implanted emotions and bias creating an atmosphere of fear and irrationality. Forbidden thought about subjects we’ve been conditioned to believe have long been settled. But, have they really been?
On January 20th the White House took the first step toward the restoration of the lost right to freedom of speech in America (the sole purpose of this blog during the entire year of 2024). Here is the exact text of the order:

EXECUTIVE ORDER
January 20, 2025
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, and section 301 of title 3, United States Code, it is hereby ordered as follows:
Section 1. Purpose.The First Amendment to the United States Constitution, an amendment essential to the success of our Republic, enshrines the right of the American people to speak freely in the public square without Government interference. Over the last 4 years, the previous administration trampled free speech rights by censoring Americans’ speech on online platforms, often by exerting substantial coercive pressure on third parties, such as social media companies, to moderate, deplatform, or otherwise suppress speech that the Federal Government did not approve. Under the guise of combatting “misinformation,” “disinformation,” and “malinformation,” the Federal Government infringed on the constitutionally protected speech rights of American citizens across the United States in a manner that advanced the Government’s preferred narrative about significant matters of public debate. Government censorship of speech is intolerable in a free society.
Sec. 2. Policy. It is the policy of the United States to: (a) secure the right of the American people to engage in constitutionally protected speech;
(b) ensure that no Federal Government officer, employee, or agent engages in or facilitates any conduct that would unconstitutionally abridge the free speech of any American citizen;
(c) ensure that no taxpayer resources are used to engage in or facilitate any conduct that would unconstitutionally abridge the free speech of any American citizen; and
(d) identify and take appropriate action to correct past misconduct by the Federal Government related to censorship of protected speech.
Sec. 3. Ending Censorship of Protected Speech. (a) No Federal department, agency, entity, officer, employee, or agent may act or use any Federal resources in a manner contrary to section 2 of this order.
(b) The Attorney General, in consultation with the heads of executive departments and agencies, shall investigate the activities of the Federal Government over the last 4 years that are inconsistent with the purposes and policies of this order and prepare a report to be submitted to the President, through the Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, with recommendations for appropriate remedial actions to be taken based on the findings of the report.
Sec. 4. General Provisions. (a) Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect:
(i) the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency, or the head thereof; or
(ii) the functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budgetary, administrative, or legislative proposals.
(b) This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.
(c) This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

No matter how much you distrust and dislike corporate media, you do not distrust or dislike them enough.
If you saw Mark Zuckerberg on The Joe Rogan Experience last week you would know that he blew the whistle on the Biden administration’s extreme propaganda/censorship enforcement measures taken against Facebook. (Joe Rogan Experience). Zuckerberg gave a very detailed account on how the administration and its agencies cajoled, bullied and threatened Facebook into becoming essentially a house organ of the Deep State and its current party of choice, the Democratic National Committee. Tens of millions of listeners (far more than the audiences of all cable network stations combined) were so educated. Many sighs of relief were issued when Zuckerberg also announced that Facebook was terminating the services of “fact checking” organizations through whom the Biden regime carried out its propaganda and censorship activity.
Some were not so sanguine. The news was received like an earthquake at the Poynter Institute of Media Studies in St. Petersburg Florida (see, Meet the Censors). Its International Fact Checking Network (IFCN) head, Angie Holon, called an “emergency meeting” of the network to discuss the implications of Zuckerberg’s bombshell. Holon told Business Insider that Zuckerberg had created a somber and frustrated mood among IFCN fact checkers. No surprise since IFCN had previously reported that Facebook was its “predominant revenue stream.” Holon told BI, “This is bad news for the financial sustainability of fact-checking journalism. The news and IFCN’s reaction demonstrates that but for government strong arming, there is no market for censorship services. The corporate media, with the immediate sharp precision of a Nazi soldier jackknife spin move, turned on Zuckerberg like a pack of jackals. Take Mikey Bloomberg’s state propaganda rag. Less than a month ago Bloomberg devoted huge amounts of space to promote the alleged brilliance, power and humanity of Zuckerberg. See e.g. the video homage that was centerpiece of the promotion: Bloomberg on Zuckerberg. Yet, three weeks later on the day after Zuckerberg’s Rogan interview, Bloomberg proclaimed the following:

With the snap of a censorship-dependent oligarch’s fingers, one promoted as a God-like figure is condemned as a disciple of Satan. Upon Elon Musk purchasing of Twitter and turning it into the last bastion of free speech, Bloomberg set up a podcast “Elon Inc” and commenced to smear him literally on a daily basis. So, the second one reveals oneself as supportive of the United States Bill of Rights one becomes targeted for vicious treatment as a non-person by state-controlled corporate media. Remember this lesson, for your own well-being and integrity. It also sets up the moral of the coming multi-part series: Scientology and the Deep State.
If you relied solely upon corporate media for your information, you would most likely be shocked and terrified to the core by last week’s election result. After all, you would have been plied for many months with hoax after hoax claiming Trump is Hitler literally and Harris is Joy literally. You would have bought into the narrative that Harris leads a ‘razor close’ race. You would have ‘known’ that if somehow Trump squeaked out a win, he would handily lose the popular vote, justifying all manner of quasi-legal and illegal resistance to his administration. Like the J 6 committee persecutor Jamie Raskin’s decertification promise, Raskin Revolt. You think that punk has got the balls to try that stunt now?
So, what does a landslide popular vote mandate for Trump tell you about what the media has been telling you for the past eight years? I guarantee you this: if you have a sliver of a conscience and a hair of intellectual honesty your learning will be at PHD levels compared to the corporate media.
One of the most amazing facts of the past eight years has been corporate media’s (including its left leaning government sponsors) complete lack of self-inspection. A very well researched book by one of America’s premiere investigative journalists released in early 2017 graphically demonstrated the need for such reflection (See, Enemy of the People) Matt Taibbi, the author of Insane Ass Clown President, was known then as a left-leaning muckracker. Taibbi ably demonstrated that Trump won in 2016 primarily because he unapologetically declared corporate media as the enemy of the people because of its unswerving allegiance to preserving the American autocracy and attacking any dissent like a pack of starving wolves. Seven years have passed and Taibbi’s hoped-for media self-examination (despite much nudging by Taibbi himself) never came. Instead of examining what the losers and the media got wrong in 2016, they stepped up the demonization of their perceived enemies and idealization of their own losing political agenda.
Corporate media became so censorship/propaganda directed during the 2016-2024 election cycles that an increasing public thirst for facts and truth led to the rise of a grassroots online citizen media. By 2024 that alternative media far eclipsed corporate media’s reach. For example, former Fox host Tucker Carlson (fired for his increasingly populist oriented shows) opened shop online and soon was netting over 50 million viewers for premiere interviews – some reaching super bowl-like figures – numbers the networks are lucky to get even for a presidential debate. Joe Rogan regularly attracts tens of millions of listeners to his interviews. CNN by comparison is lucky to hit ½ a million in any given evening prime time.
Libertarian political commentator Dave Smith recently summed up the feelings of regular Americans toward corporate media on the Joe Rogan Experience.
After the election, conservative pundit Matt Walsh declared: “Legacy media is officially dead. Their ability to set the narrative has been destroyed. Trump declared war on the media in 2016. Tonight he vanquished them completely. They will never be relevant again.”
Is Walsh right? If the media were capable of the self-examination and correction that Matt Taibbi encouraged seven years ago, perhaps Walsh overestimates.
Scott Jennings, the one counterbalancing conservative voice at CNN, put the question to the beast directly to its face:
"This election is something of an indictment on the political information complex. The story that was portrayed was not true. We were just ignoring the fundamentals."

On the immediate heels of the election there was but one indication I could find, and I looked, that the corporate media might have learned a lesson. Here is a violently anti-Trump propagandist having a three-minute Freudian slip of sorts:

Upon declaring Trump the winner of the 2024 election the New York Times immediately regressed to chaos and terror peddling to its now confirmed minority following.
The Times gravely announced “AMERICA HIRES A STRONGMAN: This was the conquering of the nation not by force but by permission. Now, America stands on the precipice of an authoritarian style or governance never before seen in its 248-year history.”
The Times then recorded its “top” opinion columnists to vent their Ivy league, grotesquely detached opinions that Trump winning = the “end of democracy.” (Note, kudos to the inimitable Walter Kirn for his witty, ironic commentary in the X post):

It would appear that corporate media has decided it will not or perhaps cannot change. They are acting like the financial slaves of oligarchic forces much more powerful than themselves. However, those forces face a financial conundrum. A definite majority of the country voted in defiance of corporate media’s narratives and dictates. Clearly more than half the country doesn’t give a whit what corporate media broadcasts day in and day out. To the degree that that majority sustains itself and increases, so too increases the necessity for financial sponsors to redirect their financials resources to channels that reach that majority.
As long as we live in a somewhat free market economy, the oligarchs holding the most chips are going to have to be the first to have a change of heart. And it will be financial reasons that force them to, not ideological . There have been glimmerings of shifts in views of oligarchs like Bezos and Zuckerberg lately – but only after others cleared the way and helped remove potential financial disincentives. If the government cannot nationalize social media and its citizen independent media and thereby control our minds directly with censorship and propaganda the money cannot sustainably continue to flow in the direction of censorship/propaganda outlets.
The free market financial incentive above is diametrically opposed by the big government gravy train D.C. blob (that is millions of federal employees, Military-Industrial-complex, vast non-government organizations (NGO) taxpayer-funded networks). It is utterly dependent upon the Censorship/propaganda industrial complex for its continued existence. It will be a Godzilla vs. King Kong colossal knock-down, drag-out struggle between the two with Trump in office. The government-state economy vs. the free-market economy. If the former wins there will be increasing censorship/propaganda from here on out. Should the latter prevail, the Bill of Rights has a chance.
The ultimate answer to the original question “is corporate media dead?” will be determined by a single factor. It is highlighted by an exchange Scientology’s leader once had with a couple of corporate news reporters. They asked him to define power. He replied that power is determined solely on the basis of whether folks listen to whoever it is that attempts to control affairs. So it will go with corporate media. In the spring of 1959 Edward Hunter, an intelligence agent posing as a journalist, described to a Senate committee the discovery of a then-unknown technique called “mind attack” – a method for changing people’s minds to make them love things they once hated and/or hate things they once loved. Mind attack (or mind control) tactics were further exposed in the 1970’s by L. Ron Hubbard, founder of Scientology and a former U.S. naval office familiar with intelligence techniques. He published an essay in the 1970s that warned of a dastardly government intelligence trick of thought control through censorship and propaganda. He suggested the Intelligence Community (IC) had been utilizing this method for years and that unchecked it could have detrimental effects on society. The technique was propaganda execution by way of redefining words (Orwellian Newspeak if you will). At that very time, Scientology was a recognized religion and was in the process of being redefined by Big Pharma and the IC as a ‘cult’. With that label comes suspension of civil rights and human liberties. Because it wasn’t other folks’ ox being obviously gored, few paid attention to the process but accepted the result. If you look you will learn that such techniques are being applied far more broadly today. Unless the level of state media and internet control is reversed, some of our most important societal leaders will ultimately be dismissed as quacks and cult members. Central to the operation is propaganda by redefinition of words.
The Neo Liberal Orders’ Censorship/Propaganda Industrial Complex (CPIC) is playing out George Orwell’s 1984 by implementing Newspeak. In 1984 Newspeak sums up as WAR IS PEACE, FREEDOM IS SLAVERY, and IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH. Today we add to the lexicon, PLUTOCRACY IS DEMOCRACY, CENSORSHIP IS FREEDOM OF SPEECH, VIOLENCE/VANDALISM IS LAW/ORDER.
Many are seeing this, including heads of the sovereign states remaining defiant against the Neo Liberal Order push for global autocratic rule. Here is Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban alerting to it earlier this year:

First, they reformulate norms. George Orwell saw this, and described it thus: “War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.” The first step in the progressive liberals’ program of oppression is to take a norm and give it the precisely opposite meaning. “War is peace” is something that progressives also say today. “Peace facility”: this is the name of the Brussels financial fund from which they send the most destructive weapons to the front. “Migration is a resource”, they say—while crime rises, the threat of terrorism increases, and trust is drained from our societies.”
A lot of this sinister word play is already firmly entrenched in the corporate media and organized education in America. For example, a couple years ago we were overwhelmed with scare tactics to drop objections to the Biden Administration’s INFLATION REDUCTION ACT. Yet, since its shotgun passage, inflation has continued to be a scourge to all but the top .1 %. To those in the know, the result was obvious since the bill accelerated already out of control government spending. Recently a former Federal Reserve Bank governor was asked what can we possibly do to scale back runaway inflation. His only answer was to reign in the INFLATION REDUCTION ACT. I other words, what the establishment serves to us as the solution, in fact is the problem Propaganda by redefinition of words at work. You see government stooges (from New Times columnists to all network talking head “experts”) scolding the masses that they can’t get it through their thick skulls “Bidenomics is killing it”, while increasing portions of the population go under to rising inflation and fewer job advancement opportunities.
Today Big Brother, through its CPIC, is literally peddling STUPIDITY IS LITERACY. And they are coming for your children. The government is doing it through Orwellian titled “media literacy” programs. They are designed to inculcate school children with the idea that the only true information is Big Brother authorized information. In other words, discouraging curiosity, exploration, research, and critical thinking. They are trying to force kids to accept information only from the folks who tell them that they must agree to the INFLATION REDUCTION ACT while its implementation eats away their paychecks with more spiraling inflation. They are telling them that the only truth is what they are fed through government agencies, or their fully controlled news organs, to wit, Wikipedia, and the “legacy” or “mainstream” corporate media.

Remember the NLO (New Liberal Order) intelligentsia’s constant lament a few years ago: “how are we ever going to progress if we don’t agree on the facts?” (as they see them of course). Thus, the rise of the CPIC. Censorship and Propaganda in unprecedented quantities notwithstanding, the NLO still can’t control minds sufficiently to stay in power. Thus, the need to reprogram our minds by rewriting the very language we’ve slowly and surely developed and become accustomed to over the past 10,000 years. At what point does enough become enough?
The other 4 Steps of modern-day mind control that Prime Minister Orban refers to above are also instructive:
The second step is to use the instruments of the state to start spreading this inverted normality. Anyone who thinks otherwise is problematic: there is something wrong with them. Anyone who thinks otherwise is either ignorant or insane. The perception must be created that listening to them would lead to some fatal catastrophe.
Then comes the third step, when they spread the word that because you hold dangerous views, you are also a security risk. They set some sort of fact-checker or democracy watchdog on you, and it is established that you do not share the views of normality that they preach, and that therefore you are a radical whose freedom of speech they need not hesitate to restrict.
Then, in the fourth step, they incite the liberal press to attack you. Activists are mobilized, and then you are silenced through litigation. This leads to the sphere of fake depictions of you on the internet, denunciation on social media, and a horde of civil society entities bombarding the courts and state bodies with accusations against you.
And if you survive all that, the fifth step is for state bodies to spring into action. They have received so many complaints and accusations that they are obliged to investigate you. This is how public bodies become the private institutions of the progressives. They find that the accusations in the media and the concerns of the watchdogs are well founded, they indict you, and in the end state bodies are used to silence you. This is what they do to Hungary in Brussels, and this is what they do to conservatives in progressive liberal European capitals. The same thing is happening in the United States, where court proceedings are being used to try to remove President Donald Trump from the ballot. This is what happened in the European Union when they tried to use administrative procedures to impose a travel ban on Tucker Carlson. It is happening in Germany, where political parties are being monitored by the intelligence services. And it happened in Finland, when they wanted to prosecute a politician and a bishop for quoting Scripture.
As it happens Orban turns out to be pretty accurate. What he did not predict was what comes next when all of the above doesn’t work. Well, we have now seen that too.
After the United States government (with its compliant corporate media) applied steps 1-5 above toward front-running candidate, former-president Donald Trump, they tried to murder him in cold blood on national television:
Two months later, with virtually no accountability assumed for its abject failures during the first assassination attempt, they tried again:

One could call these connections ‘conspiracy theories’, but that would be incorrect. They are far more concrete and factual than any explanation (or lack thereof) that government agencies have provided on the assassination attempts to date.
Acting like a third world banana republic dictatorship, the United States government and its lapdog corporate media has all but buried the stories of back to back assassination attempts on President Trump, while they continue to promote further attempts.
On the eve of perhaps the most hotly contested Presidential election in United States history, what is next?
The grand inquisitor of the infamous congressional J6 committee (Jamie Raskin) promises to deny the will of the people should they favor Trump on election day. On the eve of the election the New York Times (flanked by the Washington Post) issued a heavily promoted “story” that declared that conservatives expressing doubt of the fairness of the 2020 election undermines public confidence in the 2024 election. They conclude such views should have been censored by YouTube and because they were not, the 2024 election has somehow been compromised.
No matter what side you are on, brace yourself. Big Brother’s colossal mismanagement of affairs guarantees that whichever side loses will believe and behave as if it were cheated.
When the Neo Liberal Order wanted to shut down America four years ago and force every human on earth to be injected with a Big Pharma experimental (largely untested) drug , who did they turn to for the blueprint narrative to justify it? The Plague Year, just like The Looming Tower (the 911 narrative) and Going Clear (the Scientology narrative) before it used classic CIA disinformation tactics to idealize the government team and to demonize anyone opposing its narrative or actions; irrespective of, and in most cases contrary to, the facts. In his inimitable style Wright jumped back and forth chronologically so as to obfuscate the serial contradictions and holes in the official narrative. Wright showed absolute allegiance to the company/government line on every issue while assassinating the character of anyone who had the temerity to challenge the incredible story. And like his previous two books, Wright chose later-proven scoundrels to serve as the “heroes” whose personal stories would create emotional appeal to sell the phony narrative.
And so, Wright’s The Plague Year is a love letter to perhaps the most destructive and criminally corrupt bureaucrat in American history, Anthony Fauci.
In order to establish critical context, it is necessary to understand the big lies of the COVID-19 hoax. There is no more credible source for that than Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s The Real Anthony Fauci. Kennedy’s work is not some off the cuff, loosey-goosey narrative (like Wright’s The Plague Year). It is more like a 448-page legal brief, complete with more than 1,500 fact citations provided. Kennedy proves beyond any reasonable doubt the following facts:
Closing schools created more harm than leaving them open under the circumstances of the virus in question; an atrocity Wright praises Fauci for.
Wearing masks had little, if any, effect on stopping the spread of the virus, and also had a number of detrimental effects; another atrocity Wright praises Fauci for.
There are a number of effective treatments for COVID-19; including long-proven safe and already authorized drugs such as Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin. A fact Wright attempts to bludgeon Trump for having the temerity to suggest might be a fact.
The U.S. government at the direction of NAIAD Director Anthony Fauci was actively suppressing the promotion of those effective treatments. Yet another atrocity Wright praises Fauci for.
U.S. government agencies under the effective control of Fauci suppressed millions of doses of those effective medicines which the US government had stockpiled in the event of an emergency such as COVID-19. A genocidal act that Wright pours praise upon Fauci for pulling off.
The U.S. government was flat out lying when it guaranteed (including President Biden) that the government-funded vaccine would stop the spread of the virus; a lie Wright calls a fact and praises Fauci for perpetrating.
The U.S. government was flat out lying when it said it would be a ‘one-shot wonder’, one jab and magically the virus would be defeated; a lie Wright calls a fact and praises Fauci for perpetrating.
The U.S. government was bending or breaking all the usual precautionary rules to assure vaccine safety by rushing authorization through at the behest of big pharma; a corrupt Fauci arrangement for which Wright deifies Fauci.
The U.S. government helped Big Pharma conceal from the public numerous incidences of adverse side effects of the vaccine. A fact Wright assists Fauci with covering up.
Fauci had a history of similarly putting millions of lives at risk (if not directly causing tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of deaths) during the AIDS epidemic. A fact Wright carefully covers up and creates a fictitious narrative in its place.
Documented in exquisite detail, Kennedy chronicles how Fauci at the behest of Big Pharma suppressed effective medications while promoting killer drugs for AIDS. For some reality on this, have a look at the movie Dallas Buyers Club. It tells the true story of a man who made a cause of smuggling effective AIDS treatments across the Mexican border. The movie does not name names, like RFK Jr does, but the outlawing of the effective treatments was ordered by none other than Anthony Fauci. At that very same time Fauci was promoting deathly doses of Big Pharma’s killer “solution” to AIDS; condemning thousands to death.
All of this history is ignored by Wright as, remarkably, he commends Fauci as some sort of AIDS hero. For those whose memory hasn’t been holed by the Censorship Industrial Complex, you may recall just how criminal the government was during the AIDS epidemic in the 80’s. Do you remember the public outrage when the government created unwarranted, unscientific and outright destructive hysteria that AIDS could be transmitted by simply being in the same room with someone who had contracted it. Guess who threw that match on the fire?

Recall, tens of thousands of AIDS victims were believed to have died because this myth frightened everyone from taking care of them.
So damning and so thoroughly credible were Kennedy’s proofs that Lawrence Wright, Anthony Fauci and the rest of the United States government up to the White House did not even attempt to refute them. Instead, they falsely labelled Kennedy an “anti-vaxxer”, falsely defined that as somehow anti-science, and then took extraordinary actions to shut him up and shut him down. One of the first acts of Biden’s presidency was to order the censorship of Kennedy through social media deplatforming. Mark Zuckenberg of Facebook was the first to snap to attention and deliver prompt compliance. And so, millions of Americans have been denied the truth of the matters we cover here. The next oppressive and unconstitutional act of the White House was to conspire with the Democratic National Committee to keep Kennedy off state primary ballots, and then national election ballots. The motto of the deep state (as in earlier autocracies such as the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany): if you cannot win the argument, then silence and destroy your challenger by any means necessary.
Wright fawns over his “hero” Anthony Fauci throughout the book. He juxtapositions Trump the villain against Anthony Fauci as the knight in shining armor. The black and white, good vs evil characterizations are so stark as to read like a Marvel Comics book. He describes Fauci as a “trim, dapper”, “unflappable bullet of a man”, who works with “hedgehog-like intensity”, “rejecting promotions or the prosperous lure of private industry”, “a forthright and courageous leader” who spends virtually all of his free time with his family – God-like in his purity. Conversely, he calls Trump “brutish, cruel, and demeaning”, who made a “whimsical” run for President only to seek personal revenge against Obama (huh?), and was driven solely by “whimsy and grievance” continuously as President. He plays on the positioning throughout to portray Big Brother propaganda as communicated by Fauci as good and every challenge to that New Liberal Order propaganda by Trump as evil.
To be clear, let’s put to bed a few tons of the bullshit we were force fed by the US government – led by Wright-anointed supreme authority Fauci.
1: Hydroxychloroquine/Ivermectin:
Wright excoriated Trump because he “accused Fauci of misleading the country about hydroxychloroquine which Trump continued to cling to as a miracle cure even after the FDA withdrew its emergency authorization.”
Because of the slavish obedience of our government-controlled media, it took a couple of years for the public to be so thoroughly informed as to the truth of Trump’s position and the falsity of Fauci’s, that the establishment begrudgingly had to concede (without of course noting how they had conducted a Salem Witch Trial like shaming of anyone taking Trump’s position for two years) the point. For Example:
Let that settle in for a moment. How many Americans died waiting for Fauci’s big pharma vaccine stock market bonanza while Fauci locked up the US’s hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin reserves? And how does Fauci, not to mention his chief apologists in the media led by Lawrence Wright, get a pass on such genocidal behaviors?
2. The COVID-19 origin story. All-important in terms of understanding, and thus treating, the COVID 19 virus. Wright belittled Trump: “President Trump declared that he has a “high degree of confidence” that the virus came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, but said he can’t provide specifics.” Wright then makes a several-page, high-sounding – yet ultimately fallacious – defense of the Fauci-sponsored propaganda line that COVID-19 made a clean jump from bats or pangolins to humans in a Chinese wet market.
Only a couple years later, when the flawed and potentially dangerous and debilitating vaccine was in billions of bodies (and Fauci’s Big Pharma sponsors were tens if not hundreds of billions of dollars wealthier) did we begin to learn the truth. The Department of Energy was forced to admit that COVID-19 most likely came from the Wuhan lab. Documents produced over figuratively dead deep-state-cover-up bodies proved the point: Fauci shut down lab leak theory despite scientists lending it credence, emails show.
After a couple years of dogged pursuit of aggressively hidden government evidence we learned that not only had Fauci attempted to discredit the Wuhan lab leak theory early on — while acknowledging privately that it most likely was true — he participated in obstruction of justice in attempting to cover up the cover up. Wright’s misinformation, disinformation and malinformation are legion throughout the book. For example:
Wright says “For Fauci, science was a self-correcting compass, always pointing at the truth” just months before Fauci arrogantly proclaimed the precise opposite, that his personal opinion was science and that anyone who disagreed with him was attacking science.
Wright states as fact that “Russian meddling certainly had a hand in the outcome” of the 2016 election long after only the most hysterical, wingnut partisans (or as some call it Blue Anon) had begrudgingly accepted the Russia scare was nothing but a hoax. Wright chronicles every bumbling bureaucratic flub within the National Institutes of Health and smugly puts every one of them on Trump. To do so flies in the face of the fact that his boy Anthony Fauci was directly responsible for every one of them and many of them were done in contravention to Trump directives.
Wright even incredibly unprofessionally defended Dr. Birx (Scarf Lady) when after she and Fauci ordered no Thanksgiving gatherings for American families, then hosted a big one herself (sorta like Gavin Newsome outlawing restaurants while having them open for large gatherings of his posse).

There you have it. Not only did Anthony Fauci intentionally lie from the outset about COVID-19’s origin, he did it to cover up the fact that he was likely the most responsible person for COVID-19’s creation.
Adding insult to injury, Anthony Fauci and Lawrence Wright led a Big Brother mass terror campaign to force injections of experimental drugs into billions of people. They shamed, they demonized, and those they influenced even suggested people who wished not to receive the experimental jab ought not be treated for other medical emergencies but instead be left to die.

Censorship Mind Control as currently practiced by the organs of the Neo Liberal Order is essentially a three-step operation. First, effectively censor dissident voices. Second, if censorship alone cannot silence effective voices then smear them to the point where no one will listen to what they say. Third, which is often run concurrent with 2 and 3, roll out the elite’s chosen narratives as related by authoritative figures; incessantly and everywhere at once. The narrative roll out is all important as it contains the untruths Big Brother wishes to implant in our minds. The “authority” in “authoritative figures” as narrators comes at the privilege of the elite of the Neo Liberal Order; judged by his/her willingness and ability to relay what he or she is told to say and write, and decidedly not by merit.
For example, the effective author and spokesman for the roll out of the Greatest Hoax of the 21st Century (see Jacob Siegel’s Invasion of the Fact Checkers) was former FBI agent Clint Watts. That he deserves that sobriquet is not my opinion. It is that of perhaps the most powerful figure in today’s entire Global Intelligence (IC) network, former CIA and NSA head and current director of Censorship Industrial Complex Operations at the Atlantic Council, Michael Hayden. Watts was the first ‘credentialed’ public promoter of the Russia scare – the crude, but effective return to 1950’ish McCarthyist Red Scare days. Fear all that is “them” (read Russian) as it secretly permeates our precious bodily fluids. Watts was the chosen narrator of the propaganda narrative that we must shut our ears and eyes to any information designated as ‘Russian”. Of course, the ugly trick was to label anything and everything that didn’t fit the Neo Liberal Order’s dozens of propaganda narratives as “Russian”. Absurd as it was, roughly fifty percent of the U.S. population went along for the ride. The once “progressive” wings of the Mainstream Media (MSM), CNBC/CNN, became literally obsessed with this mind-programming complex front man Watts. He appeared out of nowhere as the authority on all Russian Hoax matter and was omnipresent in all major government-compliant mainstream media.
What qualified Watts for this job? Was it that he was part of the failed and discredited pre-911 U.S. government anti-terror apparatus? Was it his several years of cashing in on the Security Industrial Complex cottage industry that arose after 911 in spite of the fact it was the result of the pre-911 failures of the likes of Watts? Nothing in his overt, officially listed background would seem to qualify him as a CIA storyteller, least of all on the matter of “Russian Misinformation.” And yet, having been exposed as a rank peddler of the Russia Hoax, Watts just keeps skipping from one high paying propagandist gig after another. In another bad omen, Clint Watts, the FBI special agent and MSNBC contributor who founded the Hamilton 68 dashboard, has been hired by Microsoft to run their disinformation unit during the upcoming election.
If Hamilton 68 isn’t ringing any bells, it was the left-wing think tank notorious for accusing legitimate right-leaning accounts of being Russian bots. It pushed the false narrative of massive Russian influence that was heavily relied upon by many mainstream media outlets and possibly even swayed the 2020 election.
And now this same guy is in charge of monitoring disinformation for Microsoft during the next election. What possibly could go wrong? Everything.
With Google Jigsaw in firm Censorship Industrial Complex control, (see Mike Benz’ Google Jigsaw’s Plan to Vaccinate Your Mind) most traditional channels of communication have been seized by Big Brother leading up to election day 2024.
So, how does a backbencher security hack become an omnipresent front man for the Censorship Industrial complex? While his official biography doesn’t give a clue, his own words do. According to him, Watts’ “mentor” in the storytelling craft is the man who wrote the official record of the alleged events leading up to 911. Lawrence Wright’s The Looming Tower covered up so well for the CIA/FBI Pre-911 negligence (or treason?) that according to Watts the head of the FBI (Robert Muller, who was appointed to mop up the severe FBI/CIA post 911 PR damage) instructed supervisors like Watts to “make sure everyone gets one of these books.” And Watts eagerly complied, saying he bought “boxes” of the book and distributed them to “all my colleagues.”
Think about it – the largest law enforcement/intelligence agency in the world needs an ‘outside’ author to school its members on the most colossal failure of any government agency in world history? Why? Perhaps because the primary, glaring criticism of Wright’s book was his justification of the CIA’s withholding of critical intelligence from the FBI (and the FBI’s own serial fumbles) that clearly prevented law enforcement from foiling the well pre-broadcast 911 catastrophe? Wright’s authoritative answer to why the problems was that the CIA and FBI were overworked and underpaid. As we shall see, Wright is an expert at personalizing societal catastrophes, and elevating villains to hero status in order sell rotten New Liberal Order false narratives.
In either event, the cloying cult member like adoration a head of a major counter terrorism department directs toward a ‘citizen’ author is remarkable. That Counter Terrorism head, Watts, reminisced during a 2022 podcast that he “had the great fortune of being his (Wright’s) driver between airports and auditoriums” during his book promotional tour; and this is where his mentor schooled him on becoming a professional storyteller. Said Watts, Wright “provided much needed guidance to me.”
Coincidentally, during that same podcast Watts and Wright neatly lay the groundwork justification for the CIA and FBI to turn their outward facing powers inward toward American Citizens. While Middle Eastern terrorists pour over our Southern Border in unprecedented numbers, Wright and Watts seem to concur that intelligence and law enforcement ought instead be going after Trump supporters. According to Watts, it “is a sure thing” that domestic terrorists have “biological weapons…very much on their minds.”
Referring to Wright’s epic apologia to Anthony Fauci, Pfizer, NIH, and the Biden Administration (the book Plague Year, so chock full of since-discredited big pharma/government propaganda to warrant its own post), Watts and Wright continue to pimp government COVID-19 myths that were long-since proven phony by the time of the 2022 podcast.
Thus, Wright laments (with Watts agreeing like a bobbing head doll) that what went wrong with the pandemic and what is most crucially wrong with America today is: “What we didn’t have was the trust we needed to have in our government institutions. We just don’t rate on that scale at all.”
As this blog has detailed, these ‘love, devotion, and surrender’ (to Big Brother) demands were being made just as the Biden administration was unleashing the largest roll back in civil rights in American history. Wright said Americans are just plain backward as compared to “Angolans” and “Latvians” in their unwillingness to put full faith into government agencies, at the very moment those agencies were betraying Americans like never before.
Did Larry mean we should have dropped to our knees and demonstrated cultlike compliance to the NIH/Mainstream media’s anointed Mr. Science? The guy who was so infallible that to question him was to question science itself? As we shall see, that is precisely what Big Brother narrator supreme Lawrence Wright means.
I ended the last post Censoring Science: Coerced Consensus with a clip from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. claiming the Biden White House immediately after inauguration coerced Facebook to censor Kennedy. He has so far proven as much in courts. Two days after that post, the House of Representatives Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government issued a report backed by a plethora of documents proving the White House application of coercion to censor against virtually all major internet platforms. The report sums it up as follows:
Now, having obtained and reviewed tens of thousands of emails and other relevant nonpublic documents, the Committee and Select Subcommittee can provide a more complete picture of how and the extent to which the Biden White House coerced companies to suppress free speech.
• Big Tech Changed Their Content Moderation Policies Because of Biden White House Pressure. The Biden White House pressure campaign largely succeeded in 2021. In the weeks and months following the start of the White House pressure campaign, Facebook, YouTube, and Amazon all changed their content moderation policies. The White House pressured companies to censor information that did not violate their content moderation policies at the time. The best evidence to assess why content moderation policies were changed is to review relevant email correspondence and other documents at the time of the policy change. Indeed, both Facebook and Amazon referred to the Biden White House’s efforts as “pressure.” Here is a subset of key documents first obtained by the Committee and Select Subcommittee pursuant to subpoena:
o In March 2021, an Amazon employee emailed others within the company about the reason for the Amazon bookstore’s new content moderation policy change: “[T]he impetus for this request is criticism from the Biden Administration about sensitive books we’re giving prominent placement to.”
o In March 2021, just one day prior to a scheduled call with the White House, an Amazon employee explained how changes to Amazon’s bookstore policies were being applied “due to criticism from the Biden people.”
o In July 2021, when Facebook executive Nick Clegg asked a Facebook employee why the company censored the man-made theory of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the employee responded: “Because we were under pressure from the [Biden] administration and others to do more. . . . We shouldn’t have done it.”
o In August 2021, an internal Facebook email explained why the company was developing, and ultimately implementing, new content moderation policies: “[Facebook’s] Leadership asked Misinfo Policy . . . to brainstorm some additional policy levers we can pull to be more aggressive against . . . misinformation. This is stemming from the continued criticism of our approach from the [Biden] administration.”
o In September 2021, after receiving months of criticism for not censoring non-violative content, YouTube shared with the Biden White House a new “policy proposal” to censor more content criticizing the safety and efficacy of vaccines, asking for “any feedback” the White House could provide before the policy had been finalized. The White House gushed: “at first blush, seems like a great step.”

Think about the above statement for a moment. In this day and age, one could easily believe the opposite to be true. Afterall, we are consistently hammered by the mainstream media, formal education, politicians and government bureaucrats with the idea that science is all about consensus. Then they pull the cruel trick of monopolizing pharmaceutical funding, and between the government and Big Pharma coerce the medical profession into ‘consensus.’ In fact, virtually every foundational advance in science was at first condemned by the ‘professional’ communities of the time as purveying rank, dangerous heresy. Study the histories of Harvey, Galileo, Copernicus, Newton, Da Vinci, Tesla to name just a few. To believe these times are different is the height of arrogance and recency bias. Today the levers of coerced consensus are so centralized and politicized, we have rank politicians and bureaucrats dictating medical science.
When science is captured by political power, consensus is coerced by the power that reigns and conflicting views are repressed into silence. When science is so censored a dark age of sorts is entered. Pursuit of truth is penalized. Propagation of propaganda no matter how false is rewarded. People suffer, people die needlessly.
The Censorship Industrial Complex (CIC) has let loose its central factchecking certification outfit, one which we have demonstrated to be engaged in unqualified and politically motivated thought policing (see last several posts), upon the field of science.
Veteran journalist John Stossel said, “Facebook’s Poynter Institute censors are now the enemy of open debate.” Stossel himself was censored by the folks at Poynter. He dug in deeper and found a number of leading voices in the scientific community were also censored for not following New Liberal Order (WHO, NIH, et al) narratives, most particularly concerning COVID-19. Probably the most blatantly fraudulent science-related truth that Poynter’s IFNC (International Factchecking Network) sought to discredit as an alleged lie, concerned the origin of the COVID-19 virus. In early 2000 many leading, credible scientists and medical professionals stated the most obvious, simple, occam’s razor explanation for COVID 19’s origin. That was a leak from a corona virus experimental laboratory in the virus’ origin city Wuhan China. It was common knowledge that such novel corona viruses were not only being studied there, but were being intentionally altered to make them as virulent and unstoppable as possible. Soon professionals who suggested we investigate the lab leak probability, and anyone who quoted them or reported on them, found themselves censored by Facebook, Youtube (Google), and Twitter, not to mention every mainstream media outlet doing the bidding of the New Liberal Order (read, Deep State or Big Brother).
Poynter’s IFCN (and its predecessor Poltifact) was front and center. As early as May 15, 2020 Politifact published: “Speculation about the origin of the novel coronavirus has spread online since the beginning of the pandemic, with Facebook posts and tabloids making baseless claims the virus was created in a lab.” It was instrumental in having the designated ‘lie’ scoured from the internet. They stayed on it like white on rice for years playing whack a mole on purveyors on the truth of the matter, attempting to discredit them as if they were Poynter’s familiar target, the Scientologists. They labelled them as conspiracy theorists, science deniers and the like. As a result billions of people were kept in dark delusion about the virus’ origin until long after the Big Pharma controlled WHO/NIH (World Health Organization/National Institutes on Health) ‘handling’ of the crisis thoroughly upended their lives. Only when it became such common knowledge as to far exceed consensus did the censors relent.
The CIC and Poynter went on to silence thousands of competent and learned professionals, including dozens of the world’s leading experts in infectious diseases. They were muted and discredited for attempting to save lives by pointing out the following, now generally accepted truths:

Wearing masks has little, if any, effect on stopping the spread of the virus, and also has a number of detrimental effects.
There are a number of effective treatments for COVID-19; including long-proven safe and already authorized drugs.
The U.S. government at the direction of NAIAD Director Anthony Fauci was actively suppressing the promotion of those effective treatments,
U.S. government agencies under the effective control of Fauci suppressed millions of doses of the effective medicines Fauci refused to acknowledge or fund the further study of.
The U.S. government was flat out lying when it guaranteed (including President Biden) that the government-funded vaccine would stop the spread of the virus.
The U.S. government was flat out lying when it said it would be a ‘one-shot wonder’, one jab and magically the virus would be defeated.
The U.S. government was bending or breaking all the usual precautionary rules to assure vaccine safety by bum rushing authorization through at the behest of big pharma.
The U.S. government helped Big Pharma conceal from the public numerous incidences of adverse side effects of the vaccine.
The CIC worked feverishly on multiple fronts to coerce consensus to agree with the unholy alliance between the WHO/NIH (virtually all of its components) and Big Pharma. They condemned and attacked anyone uttering any of a-i above. They simplified and personalized their propaganda narrative by anointing the most powerful figure at NIH as ‘the’ authority of authorities who trumped anyone and anything that refuted the narrative. That was head of National Institute for Infectious Diseases (NIAD), Anthony Fauci. They coerced consensus by silencing all dissenting opinions, and by the vicious shaming and marginalizing of anyone whose voice was heard in spite of the censorship efforts.
The NLO’s propaganda campaign was so weak on science, its chief spokesperson was reduced to insisting that when the rubber meets the road, he doesn’t require proof or support for his positions. Fauci proclaimed on national television that those espousing any or all of a-i above:
“But they’re really criticizing science, because I represent science. That’s dangerous.”
No, what is dangerous is when a conflicted, corrupt, unelected lifetime-bureaucrat can cause a dark age of sorts – that costs hundreds of thousands of lives – by usurping the right to dictate what is and what is not science at the behest of his big pharma sponsors. That result could only be obtained by the pervasive and systematic application of censorship. And to be sure, Poynter’s International Factchecker Network and Politifact dutifully toed the white line by referring to Fauci more than 200 times in citing what the ‘truth’ of various matters was. If they were doing actual ‘fact checking’ they would refer to ‘facts’ not the opinions and dictates of a single functionary.
All of a-i above is documented in exquisite detail in Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s book The Real Anthony Fauci. This is not some random person’s uniformed opinion. Kennedy, a long-time renowned environmental lawyer, has presented the public with a 448 page legal brief. It includes more than two-thousand factual citations. Kennedy demonstrates how Fauci lead a Big Pharma/NIH/WHO campaign to discredit any viable treatment for COVID-19 (of which there were several) in favor of promoting a single shot saves all vaccine. He proves that even if one considers the vaccine effective (for which there is ample evidence to the contrary) still hundreds of thousands if not millions of lives were lost by discouragement and prevention of immediate available treatments by Fauci/Big Pharma/NIH/WHO. He supports that case with evidence of the same pattern of practice being carried out by Fauci and his Big Pharma brethren in response to the AIDs outbreak of the 1980’s. He also provides ample evidence of the motive for the coercion of consensus at the expense of millions of lives.
You may be inclined to dismiss Kennedy as the “anti-vaxxer” and “conspiracy theorist” the CIC and mainstream media has sought to dismiss him as. Before we address the tar and feathering of Mr. Kennedy and his free-thinking kind, perhaps your interest to continue will be piqued after you watch the following short clip. Regardless of how you feel about Kennedy’s positions and ideas, one thing is indisputable, the First Amendment to the Constitution guarantees his right to air them, and guarantees you the right to hear them if you wish. But, that is not what the New Liberal Order believes and it does not act according to that principal. Probably the NLO’s most compliant U.S. President to date immediately upon taking office sought to silence Kennedy using the full force of the United States Government censorship apparatus. Fortunately, to date that effort has proven unsuccessful. Hear the details:
I ended the last regular post, What Is Wrong With Western Civilization, with the suggestion to read Jacob Siegel’s ‘Invasion of the Fact-Checkers’ in The Tablet. In summary, Mr. Siegel details the following:
A “Ministry of Truth” – ala Orwell’s 1984 – has arisen and plays a large role in determining what most of the populace reads and hears.
The Ministry covertly operates as a sort of Censorship Industrial Complex (CIC) under the euphemism “fact-checking.”
One of the “fact-checking” pioneers in Mainstream Media (MSM) was the Tampa Bay Times’ Politifact begun in 2007.
In fact, the Tampa Bay Times was and is a possession of the ‘not for profit institute’ for media ‘studies’, the Poynter Institute.
Poltifact has morphed into Poynter’s International Fact Checking Network (IFCN).
Not only does IFCN serve as the hub for “authoritative” determinations of what constitutes ‘truth’, it trains and certifies censors across the world – with more than 100 new Ministry of Truth branches globally, and counting.
The censorship efforts are funded with many millions of dollars from the plutocratic elite and your taxpayer dollars and essentially “proclaims that America’s ruling bureaucrats at the FDA,NIAID, CDC, the FBI, the CIA, the Fed – and the entire alphabet soup of government agencies – along with the ruling Democratic Party, are never wrong about anything.
IFCN (and its Poynter overlords) are shockingly incompetent and predictably prejudiced in ‘fact-checking’, rendering a system that amounts to global, organized political censorship.
The Censorship Industrial Complex grew out of an obscure branch of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) called Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). It was originally formed to help prevent cyberattacks on traditional infrastructure such as bridges, airports, utilities, electric grids. However, in reaction to President Trump’s election in 2016, Obama’s outgoing DHS Chief designated voting systems as critical infrastructure to fall under CISA’s jurisdiction. Over the next four years CISA became a hub for coordinated government censorship efforts. The unconstitutional efforts were justified by claiming “voting infrastructure” apparently included each individual’s mind which had to be protected from disinformation, first foreign and then domestic. No joke, CIC luminaries have spoken of cleaning ‘neurological infrastructure’; that means your brain. Clean brain = Brainwashing.
During the lead up to the ’22 mid terms DHS announced the formation of a full-blown Ministry of Truth called Disinformation Governance Board. The public outrage that engendered resulted in the Board being scuttled. Nonetheless, CISA in coordination with a number of federal agencies picked up the censorship work in earnest – recruiting and utilizing a number of non-government agencies to do the unconstitutional work it wished done. Most of the censorship work was done through cooperation of big tech platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and a dozen or so more. Tens of millions of postings by Americans were deleted, hundreds of millions of postings were partially censored by limiting their visibility and distribution.
That there is a virtual Ministry of Truth operating ought to shock the sensibilities of anyone even vaguely familiar with the United States Bill of Rights. The idea itself is anathema to the very foundation of this country. Unfortunately, even this concern cannot be taken for granted. The most recently appointed Justice of the United States Supreme Court openly expressed dismay that the 1st Amendment to the Constitution might be used to ‘hamstring’ the US government’s censorship efforts. It was once taught in grade school that the very purpose of the Free Speech Clause of the First Amendment was to not just hamstring but make impossible any efforts by the government to censor American citizens.
That the Poynter Institute was chosen to lead the censorship/propaganda efforts raises more concerns. As we shall see, the inmates are literally running the asylum.
I have twenty years of experience dealing face to face with Poynter and its own propaganda arm, the Tampa Bay Times. Why, because Poynter and its Times have been avowed enemies of the Church of Scientology for the past 50 years. As such, I have had occasion to deal directly with the Chairmen of the Board and Editors of both Poynter and its Times for the past forty years. That includes Andrew Barnes (1984-2007), Paul Tash (2008-2022) and Neil Brown (2022 to the present). I have communicated with each of them. I can confidently state that the Poynter/Times board and its three continuous rulers over the past 4 decades are some of the most elitist, virtue-signaling folks I have ever encountered. They wield their newspaper and Poynter’s influence like a battle axe and do so in an arrogant fashion. The halls of Poynter management ooze with sanctimony.
They were practiced at the arts of censorship, propaganda, shaming, and marginalizing many years before it became vogue as it is today. They treat opinion as fact when it suits their purposes, and they treat fact as opinion when it is inconvenient to their aims. They are pros at the techniques of identity politics and smear by association. That is, they condemn a class of people and continuously reinforce it with opinion dressed up like fact, label one as part of that class, then crush the person for carrying that label. In the case of Scientology they played it both ways. Many stories were written on the shortcomings of individual Scientologists. Not church staff members or members of the clergy; Just persons whom they identified as believers or practitioners of the religion. The only ‘newsworthy’ criterion was the fact of a Scientology affiliation. Each story was sure to smear the person for being involved with Scientology and smear Scientology for having impliedly created such a creature. A ‘heads we win, tails you lose’ set up. It was the ‘fake news’ phenomena in practice, decades before the term was even coined.
The Poynter/Times anti-Scientology contingent’s grip on the “fact checker” censorship industrial complex is significant. IFNC is the sanctioning entity for all ‘fact-checkers’. “Factchecker” is a newly created ‘profession’ that requires absolutely no expertise. The only requirement is a steadfast commitment to enforcing by any means necessary the approved narratives of the Neo Liberal Order. They train fact checkers to understand those narratives and in sophistry tactics which find any ‘facts’ not aligning with the narratives to be ‘false.’
The head of IFNC is Angie Holan. She graduated to that position from a stint at the Times’ Politifact – the original ‘fact checker’. It was at Politifact that she helped Poynter win a Pulitzer Prize for ‘fact checking’. Ironically, the most significant verified ‘fact’ leading to the award was later recognized to be “the lie of the year” (such a remarkable story warrants a separate post). As a fledgling Poynter/Times acolyte, she ‘fact checked’ at least one anti-Scientology propaganda piece. The story smeared Scientology by labelling a member of the religion as a slumlord because of code violations in a rental property he had recently purchased. He was no more in violation than many other landlords, and far newer to the ranks than most. But, he was a Scientologist, so knives out.
The story falsely claimed the individual was at an even ‘higher Scientology training level’ than a certain celebrity, who also happens to be a Scientologist, apparently for the purpose of also smearing the prominent Scientologist and garnering itself more attention for its hit piece. The target of the piece was not a member of the Scientology clergy nor an employee of the church. He was labelled and his religion slammed because he was a member of that religion. Imagine, Jewish Slumlord Exposed? Or, Catholic Slumlord Scandal? Or Hindu Slumlord Shame? It is a microcosm of the Mainstream Media’s smear modus operandi. The Scientologist is smeared and shamed for being associated with Scientology. Scientology is smeared and shamed for the alleged acts of a believer. Prominent Scientologists are smeared by association with both. This is critical to understanding what the CIC is now doing politically. The same tactics are applied to any political views that clash with NLO orthodoxy. Label, smear, shame, and convict others by association.
The reporter Ms. Holan fact checked was the then Scientology beat reporter. That’s right, the Poynter’s Times had then as it has today a beat to single out a single religion for frying whenever one of its members – no matter how lax in his or her participation or membership – commits a transgression. The reporter, Rob Farley, was all over the Clearwater community (the site of Scientology’s Florida headquarters). He ran a series of stories about the ramblings against Scientology of a homeless, jobless drug addict. The addict soon recognized for the first time in his three decades of life he could be elevated to semi-celebrity status by merely being anti-something he had no personal knowledge about. And so, at the Poynter Institutes’ behest he went in whole hog. Until, apparently overwhelmed with guilt he committed suicide.
Where is Mr. Farley now? He is the Deputy Managing Editor of FactCheck.org. His organization is ‘certified’ as reliable by, none other than the Angie Holan-lead International Fact-checking Network. Deputized to censor you by the ‘very best people’ at the helm of the Poynter Institute.
These are the people who have been designated by your government to determine what ideas are worthy of dissemination and what ideas will be suppressed. Factchecking is a euphemism for propaganda dissemination and censorship.
