Looking for news of the Scientology Summit I just found this:

“Tabloid tales: Cruise ‘gets special treatment’,
LAST UPDATED AT 12:30 ON Tue 2 Oct 2012
TOM CRUISE has angered fellow Scientologists because he is in contact with his daughter, Suri. Normally, members of the church are forbidden from contacting anyone who has left Scientology, including loved ones. But Cruise has been accused of receiving “special treatment” because, despite Suri and her mother leaving the controversial church, its leaders have allowed the actor to see and talk to his daughter. According to the Daily Mail, the heads of the church have “bent the rules” for Cruise because of “who he is”. Other Scientology members are said to be upset because there is “One rule for Cruise and one rule for everyone else”

Jason Beghe swears she is. Original vet at shelter where I sprung her seven years ago said she is chi-chow (chihauhau and chow-chow). Local vet swears she’s got Welsh Corgi. My read, she’s unique, the melting pot and center of the universe.

I loved that. Also, our first one like that (although we weren’t fishing) is called “OT’s Speaking Freely” done in Greg Barnes’ house in 2000. It was quite a shock to realize what we all thought was “Standard tech” wasn’t at all, any more. Keep FISHING! 🙂

I have to agree on Shiba Inu. Corgi has straighter tail and larger ears compared to head size, chow is a bigger dog. What she is does not matter so much as who she is – your friend, unique and the center of the universe. 🙂

You know becuase may, one day, it will be like that, it’ll be oh yeah what SPs are they like in the history books? Hahahahahahahahaha, boy. But you know. They don’t do that in my arena. Because it’s not how to handle an SP. It’s Confront. Shatter. Suppress. Shatter and suppress. You don’t run away. Yes. They don’t do that in my arena. Or they’re out. Hahahahahahahaha.

The reason behind 2:00 PM on Thursday was because that was the time that all reports sent to Saint Hill would be on board on Friday Morning.
All telex stats were decoded and applied to all org graphs and conditions applied before 11:AM. During the afternoon Programs would be issued
to raise conditions and handle any situations.By friday 6:PM if a Mission had to be sent to an Org anywhere this would be in the works. LRH programs were the best on creating expansion, MSH second.
Had there been the World Wide Web and high speed computers in the 60’s and 70’s this Planet would be Clear today.

Great pics! Good times! Marty, do you count Chiquita as “people”? It’s an ongoing debate in my family as to whether animals have a real Being or not. I think they do. A lot of them are so intelligent, funny, loving, loyal – I know what LRH said about them being able to mimic a thetan/being, but I find that hard to think with. Any thoughts? Anybody?

You see the result power of the postulate, standard tech, admin and ethics produce the desired result of freedom.

One may look at LRH and the data of Dianetics and Scientology as research, discovery and application or, as most who do not know the correct data, as something fabricated.

The fact is that LRH wrote, lectured and developed processes on data each and every one of us innately knows. We know all already. That is why we have cognitions on the data and processing.

I am overjoyed with the accomplishments and successes all are having.

The only way out is through and we all have a ways to go.

I lend no excuse to these proceedings in defense of fly-fishers except to say that it is inappropriate to upstage ones’ hosts when they are performing so spectacularly in all other arenas. I just hope they will extend the same courtesy to me when they visit in New Mexico (on my native waters) – but do not expect the same standard of hosting as they did with us in Corpus Christie. It was truly a thing of beauty.

That’s a good question. Why was this a summit? Well, What I reckon is that we are all independents, and each of us stands on our own summit. A meeting of four independants is a summit of four. We gathered to discover what these other independants are doing and what they are hearing when they listen to other summits. In fact, we are all gathered on this blog of Summits to hear what others have to offer in terms of possible games for the future. From this we find agreements and make alliances and the future is formed. We all use the same clay, but how many worlds can we make with our associated talents? What’s your idea, MaBu?

I love MSH almost as much as Ron. Mary Sue was awesome. As I said before, Mary Sue was the yin to Ron’s yang, and things were flying when they worked together.

It should be noted that Scientology churches ALWAYS had strong women staff and executives. My mother was KOT of ASHO D in 1975 and 1976, along side Leslie Epstein, who was LRH Comm. You had Eunice Ford at ASHO who was as stable as a rock and was present at the DC raids. You had Anne Pfanner who was the iron lady of qual at ASHO. You had Yvonne Jentzch who was the definition of theta. Karen de la Carriere needs no introduction. Mimi Rogers was the Class VIII sup for a while as I recall, when she was a non-SO kid. Linda Darlington, Class VI practical sup at ASHO D, who was awesome (and drove a TR-3). I can string a long, long list of names of strong women in Scientology. When the US was going through the whole glass ceiling thing (that still exists today), women in Scientology were running the show.

It is easy to overlook this, but it is truly an amazing story.

Thanks for not posting his “Pusherman” song. I survived one year by buying vitamin B12 pills (small cylinder shaped vitamins back then) and painting them orange with a magic marker and selling them at Madison Square Garden as “Orange Sunshine” to rich kids coming in from Connecticut to see concerts.
Yes, I got used to them coming back to buy more. I couldn’t figure it out, but I got used to it. At 14 years old making over 2 grand a night selling beat Orange Sunshine and giving people vitamins instead of drugs I really thought I had it going on.

Does this handle the latest threats I have received to publish my P.C. info on the net? I published it myself. Yes, my first origination to the examiner after going exterior on OTTRO was, “I feel like I just shot a bag of dope”.

Yes, it’s true. All of my profits went for smack. My mother threw me out of the house at 14 because I said something negative about Scientology.

Yes I ended up on smack. Yes I hustled to survive as a result. Yes then I got into Scientology and worked another four years to pay for and get through a drug rundown and finally cleaned it all up. My thoughtless remark about Scientology consumed six years of my childhood and I finally came around and threw myself at your feet.

I walked the walk.

I have viewed it from every angle.

My mother grew up in Montana, on those amazing trout rivers. When I’d finally come to the fly rod, and started to catch lots of trout (dog eating Sea Run Browns and Brookies in Nova Scotia) and would put them back!!! she was completely nonplussed. It wouldn’t compute.

Then I got to yard long Atlantic Salmon and it’s all Catch and Release, well, this made NO sense to her.

Spinning gear is just fine.

It’s fun, for beginners 🙂

Yes Scotty. We do, every now and then. Irish mythology says Atlantic Salmon spring from the Well of Knowledge and enter the river for us to gain.

Now, I’m outta here as the run is on, it’s October, and the rain finally came, it’s cool, it’s fall and the Leaper, Salmo Salar, awaits for my barbless fly on 6 lb test.

I bet I would like your mother. I will admit, I’m with your mom on the Catch and Release, although I do understand the aesthetic of the sports angler. I do not share the intensity of the arguments from either camp (predator angler vs. sports angler) although I get a DO kick out of the debate if you want to play: Why harass the fish with a hook (even if it’s barbless) if you’re not going to put the catch on the table to feed yourself and/or your family?

Of course, the same argument exists among trophy game hunters and those putting food on the table, but the trophy hunter cannot fall back on Catch and Release to gain the moral upper hand. You can’t pull a bullet from the lungs the way you can pull a barbless hook from the gills.

And the argument isn’t nearly as important to me and the joy of having you poke fun at me for resorting to spinning gear! 😀

Ok,that’s cool! There is no way I am going to be able to read through all the comments to find those who announced their departure that way however what I’ll do is put out a request to those that announced in that manner to let me know when they did it so I can search them that way. Unless there is a way to name search, I could try that. Do you know the name of someone who announced their departure that way so I can do a quick search to see what I come up with? Then I’ll coordinate with Marty as I know he likes to attach a picture to the name.

Aside from the face, she looks exactly like a Shiba Inu–but the face gives away that it is a mixed breed. Also, pure-bred Shiba Inus *hate* water! However, on seeing a quick clip of the dog running into the water at a distance, I thought “Shiba” right away–the tail is a giveaway.

I am surprised by the Animal Planet profile, it gets lots of stuff wrong. Shibas can be trained easily–our Shiba, Ponta, knows and can perform without problem more than 25 different tricks, and is easy to train. What they mean to say is that the Shiba cannot be trained to obey *reliably*, and will easily ignore you when they are not in the mood (usually, when food is not present). Also, the video says they require “occasional” brushing as they shed when it is warm. HA! Shiba Inus blow their coats twice a year (one of those often being in late fall or winter when it is cold), and the amount of fur produced over a 3-month blow is overwhelming. Without constant grooming, your house will become buried in fur. (See http://shiba.me)
