“Command Intention” propaganda used to extort money

In a Guardian’s Office Order, since converted to an OSA NW Order, LRH explained a propaganda technique used by the enemies of Scientology. It is called propaganda by redefinition of words. Here is an example, you take early 20th century Mental Hygiene practices such as electroshock, pre-frontal lobotomy, and ice baths (used in the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany and the United States to curb dissent) and try to make them palatable by calling them Mental Health.  Some detractors have argued LRH implied it should be used in dealing with enemies. But no one has ever argued to my knowledge that it could be construed LRH advised it be used against Scientologists by the Church. Yet, that is precisely what is happening in the Church today, in spades. The Church has gone so far south that it is now using propaganda by redefintion of words against its own public to extort huge sums of money out of them for no exchange.

It revolves around the redefinition of the term “Command Intention.”

Please see the following email text currently issuing from the Church to “OTs” in the LA area:

THE LATEST UPDATE ON THE IAS

1st target: $10 million DONE

2nd target: $8 million DONE

Next Target $4M Needs to be done by October 18th!

There have been 7000 donations to the IAS in the last ten weeks in the WUS!!! There have been 400 New Statuses!!! Have YOU had YOUR interview?

IT’S COMMAND INTENTION THAT EACH OT BE BRIEFED AND GET 3 PEOPLE INTO IAS OFFICE. PLEASE DO SO NOW!

Notice the generic “Command Intention” as the anonymous source of the order to herd in more marks. Former Sea Org members know that Command Intention is synonymous with LRH intention. That is what the term is understood to mean in LRH Flag Orders, LRH despatches, and LRH tapes. Over the past several years “Command Intention” has taken on an entirely different meaning. Command Intention now means DM’s intention.

When it was pointed out to me by an OT VIII in good standing that the public understands “Command Intention” to refer to LRH intention, I started comparing notes with some former Int base staff to reconstruct how this redefinition came to be.  It is a pretty twisted narrative, but worth recounting as it sheds more light on how far off Source Scientology has strayed.

During the nineties and during this decade Miscavige regularly swaggered around the International Headquarters base (and less frequently the FSO, FSSO, Upper Middle Management, and CLOs) with an assistant in tow, recording virtually every word he said from the minute he got out of bed till the minute he secured.  Miscavige could never constrain himself to do an on policy inspection wherein all orders are made to the senior of the area IN WRITING. Instead, he simply barked out orders to anyone in his path all day long usually accompanied by an SRA (severe reality adjustment) or two, and a convoluted explanation of his intentions. A pool of secretaries were employed in his office who did nothing all day long but transcribe the tapes of Miscavige barking orders all day long. This included hours long rants. More often than not, a transcript of a particular rant to a particular staff member began with Miscavige directing he or she approach something in a particular way, then Miscavige would spit out stream of consciousness style  series of different ways to approach it. A good percentage of his transcripts are documentation of Miscavige cross ordering himself.  Miscavige employs another pool of staff who distribute these transcribed orders to the staff the orders were issued to orginaly with arbitrary deadlines by which they must be applied. All echelons of executive between Miscavige and the ordered staff member are hounded with orders nudging compliance.

The madness is compounded by the fact Miscavige often gets on a hobby horse and lectures the same staff member for an hour or two for days on end. By the time Miscavige  is done with an area he has contradicted himself so many times it is anybody’s guess what is the correct direction to take.  It is further compounded by the fact that Miscavige might come in days or even weeks later and order the precise opposite of what he originally ordered. It is further compounded by the mindless and incessant nudging the ordered staff member recieves by echelons of “executives” between COB’s secretarial staff, RTC,CMO INT, EXEC STRATA, CMO GOLD, GOLD EXEC STRUCTURE, etc. Unlike what Miscavige has done with LRH orders, he has established no ways or means to cancel inapplicable, stale, or plain insane Miscavige orders.

Many an executive of Gold, CMO GOLD, CMO INT, Exec Strata and RTC has been shot from guns by Miscavige for “cross ordering COB” by pushing an order of COB.

Many an executive of Gold, CMO GOLD, CMO INT, Exec Strata and RTC (and FSO, FSSO, CLO’s, etc, ad infinitum) has been shot from guns for “black PRing COB” for trying earnestly to get an order of COB done.

To contradict himself all day long is a handy op by Miscavige. If something fails, he can point to the transcript where he said to do it another way. If something succeeds he can point to a portion of some transcript that seems to align with what was done. It is the perfect Service Facsimile, he is always right and just about everybody else is always wrong. To everyone else, it is like living in a gigantic implant station.

Over the years executives at several echelons learned a method of survival in this world gone wild. The method gave limited protection (slip and slide room) from getting annihilated for “cross ordering COB” by pushing COB, and gave them some horse power to try to get whatever they decided to get done done despite it being contradicted by so many known COB orders. The method was to say, “get it done damnit, it’s Command Intention.”  It was a great way to stay out of the cross hairs of the many investigators rolling back “destructive orders” and “black PR of COB.”   The executive under interrogation could honestly say, “I never said that order came from COB.”

Another use of “Command Intention” for higher echelon execs was to protect COB from the black PR some of his psychotic orders might engender toward him. On many occasions I relayed COB orders to the assembled executives at CMO INT, CMO GOLD, GOLD, OSA, and other venues by lying and saying it was my own order. I picked up on the “command intention” op other execs used as covered above and used the term as a  means to protect COB from the repercussions of having issued a wing nut order. Others have shared with me similar experiences.

Well, apparently all this has rolled down hill and public OT’s conned or coerced into becoming IAS Reges are now getting the same treatment.  Only at that level it is probably more pernicious. At Int, Miscavige so dominated every aspect of life (down to requiring his psychotic rant transcripts be Method 9 word cleared) that it was a given “Command Intention” meant DM. The realization of that fact lead to the final decision to leave the SO  by many whom I have spoken with.  At public level there is enough separation to leave the impression “command intention” still connotes LRH.

In the case of the IAS the use of the “command intention” op is particularly fraudulent. Public are being given the impression that forking over tens of millions of dollars to IAS is LRH intention.  You ever wonder why IAS never produces a promo piece with an LRH quote about the importance of the IAS? LRH probably never even heard of the IAS; and if he did it was a lie about how it was simply an international membership with a nominal fee (which it was till LRH died; the never ending, escalating statuses at great expense to the public came later).

The lie is furthered by a steady stream of lies communicated to public Scientologists with great fanfare:  the oft repeated myth as to what the IAS has done in terms of protecting the Church.  Many an event presentation has credited the IAS with being integral to winning the 1985 Battle of Portland. The IAS did not do a single thing to contribute to the Battle of Portland. The IAS has been promoted as being integral to the 1993 IRS exemption the Church received. The IAS did not contribute a single dime – not one thin dime – to the twelve year war effort that led to exemption.

It is not LRH intention for anybody to deposit a single penny into the coffers of IAS. In fact, it is quite contrary to  LRH intention as covered in HCO PLs and other writings on donations and memberships.

Mexican Independent – WINS Mexico!

Damaris_and_Roberto

Roberto Sanchez Nunez – known on this blog as Mexican Amigo – has founded the first independent group in Mexcio, WINS Mexico. He is joined by his wife Damaris and daughters Ninive Dalai and Xcaret. Roberto is a Class V Grad auditor and Purif C/S. He was affiliated with the Church for twenty years, serving ten of those years on staff. He began auditing at the age of 13. He has audited many pc’s through the Grades and NED, and several through Clear. While on staff he C/S’d hundreds of people through the Purif, and after leaving staff C/S’d hundreds more through the Purif on his own time. He was the Executive Director of the Leon Mission from 1995 through 1998 and then, after intensive tech training, again from 2000 through 2005.

Roberto explained his reasons for taking a stand, I have attained a lot gains through my auditing but my most major wins are through training and auditing others. There is no apparent reason for me to wrestle with the mighty Church of Scientology. My family and my life are flourishing and prospering. So, why do this? It is a matter of personal integrity. Just that. It is my truth and what I believe in; like it or not. I see that Scientology as it is managed in present time is not reaching its purpose of ‘improving conditions’. What it is achieving is Sea Org executives who are abused in their fundamental rights and who are manipulated through Black Dianetics. Public are in debt across the world only to buy buildings for orgs that do not have staff or public to succeed on their own. I didn’t get into Scientology for this. THEREFORE STARTING NOW I PUBLICLY ANNOUNCE MY SEPARATION FROM THE CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY UNTIL IT HAS A SENSIBLE AND DECENT LEADERSHIP THAT RESPECTS ITS FELLOWS.”

Roberto is launching a new blog and will translate many of the truths that have been published on blogs like this and others for the Spanish speaking public of Mexico and other countries for that matter. The blog is up now and he can be contacted directly through it, http://winsmexico.wordpress.com/

Roberto is working on his Phd in Sustainable Development Management. He serves on the board of a respected state ecological association and is the main adviser in improvement subjects of the businessmen association of his home city. He is already doing quite a bit to improve conditions in the world and recently he has started doing a whole lot more.

Roberto is located smack dab in the center of Mexico in Leon, Guanajuato state. That is good news for all Mexican Scientologists. Godspeed to Robert, Damaris, Ninive Dalai and Xcaret.

Georgia Independents

shannonandhiro

Shannon and Hiro Kimoto of Cumming Georgia (forty miles north of Atlanta) are a welcome new group of independents. Shannon was IG Communicator in the late nineties when I held the IG post.  She was an RTC Internal Affairs Organizing Officer before that after serving in CMO International and Gold for 13 years in a number of capacities.

Hiro was the Estates Manager CMO International from approximately 1984 till 1997.

They served a combined 42 years in the Sea Org.

Both were casualties of Miscavige’s final slide into madness at the turn of the millennium. Hiro was blacklisted by being assigned a “never ending condition” and Shannon for failing to pledge unthinking loyalty to Miscavige (both methods of attempted depersonalization were common in the practice of reverse Scientology at the Int base).

Hiro was banished to CLO EUS after the RPF where despite his lack of org board authority he lead the real Scientology heroes of 9/11.  If you haven’t already seen it, Shannon’s write-up of his crew’s 911 actions is covered at:

Despite Shannon and Hiro being physically separated for 5 years, Shannon managed to get herself transferred from PAC to CLO EUS to be with Hiro. A short while later, Shannon’s father became very ill and they made a decision to standardly route out of the SO to take care of him as her mother could not do it alone.  However, in the world of Miscavology they were not “allowed” this option. Their only “option” was to be declared.

Having landed in Cumming GA with no money (no severance), no job referral or any help from the Church, they started their own home improvement and remodeling company which has been growing steadily now for 5 years.

Both Hiro and Shannon realize there are many others who after years of complete dedication have been left with nothing to start anew and they offer their support to any Independent Scientologists in their area.

“Please contact us and lets work together on a new and very bright future!”

Funeral for a friend – Griffee Blythe

99

I had the great privilege of attending a family memorial acknowledgment of the life of long-time former Snr CS AOLA Griffee Blythe over the Fourth of July weekend.

Griffee passed away on June 28, 2008.

She had left the Sea Org in 2004.

Her last several years on staff and in life were tortuous spiritually for her.

With the advent of the GAT, Miscavige had it ruthlessly implemented in A.O.’s and SH’s through his RTC Representative NW. As Inspector General from 1998 through 2004 I regretfully forwarded that campaign.

The RTC reps learned from Miscavige to treat senior technical terminals with a particularly cruel sort of disdain and invalidation. In LA the reps’ favorite target was Griffee, since she was the most senior and well know tech terminal in the PAC area, and because she was resistive to GAT’s dehumanization of the auditing process. She was blamed for all failed or resistive cases in the PAC area – though years later after very expensive RTC supervised reviews the great majority of them were either worse or blown off completely.

For many years Griffee was known as the last port of call in PAC. If all else failed, staff and public alike knew that Griffee would always be there for them. She exuded a friendliness that is hard to describe. I recall having to go upbraid her for something or other once. I got myself all worked up and stormed into her office. She looked up from her folders with an infectious smile that stopped me in my tracks, unmocked my ridges. She literally disarmed me with her presence. Within minutes she had me laughing.

2

That is the Griffee I knew. Since speaking with many members of her family and staff and public who knew her I have come to recognize that is the Griffee that most people knew.

Perhaps having realized that and wrestling with my own involvement in the invalidation of her and everything she stood and lived for, made her funeral such a touching experience.

Griffee’s daughter Tish organized the farewell event. The evening of our arrival Tish showed the twenty invited family members and friends a special video presentation Tish had produced herself. With only music and still shots Tish managed to capture Griffee’s spirit of play and purpose of helping remarkably well. After seeing the presentation I was impressed by how well Tish knew and appreciated her mother even though she had not been afforded the opportunity to spend much time with her until the last year of Griffee’s life.

Soon that presentation will be available to all Griffee’s friends on You Tube.

In the late afternoon of July 4 the group hiked to a granite promentory in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It was the spot where Griffee’s mother and father had their ashes spread after they passed away years earlier.

We walked trails through an eery and unusually thick fog. It was actually the underbelly of a low lying cloud bank that made the mist lighten and thicken as it slowly bobbed between the ground and forty to fifty feet above us.

When we reached the appointed spot, a large outcropping of granite boulders, Tish walked to the edge of the rock cliff with Griffee’s brothers and sisters. No words were spoken. Mickey Blythe emptied an urn containing Griffee’s ashes over the cliff. Within seconds an updraft lifted the ashes into a small cloud that rose above the cliff. Simultanously the cloud bank above descended below the tree line and at about Tish’s eye level, and ten feet in front of her, the ashes and the cloud mixed in a subtle dance – the ashes absorbed by the cloud. When all the ash was consumed, the cloud began to lift again above the tree line.

I felt that same disarming, peaceful and playful presence I had experienced when years earlier Griffee had, with only a look, turned my pent up antagonism into mirth.

My wife described a similar feeling as did others who attended.

10

Friends can rest assured that the spirit of Griffee is alive and well.

May she know that she is not forgotten.

May she continue to fly in peace.

Mountain View Independents

Dan Koon and Mariette Lindstein of Mountain View California

Dan Koon and Mariette Lindstein of Mountain View California

Dan is also known as TRs student Joe Howard in the only remaining tech film (unless Miscavige has burned all copies recently) directed by LRH. During the making of that film, LRH’s conversation with Dan and his twin, wherein the former clearly demonstrated how an appropriate acknowledgment should land, was taped and played during at least one Int event. During his 27 year SO career, Dan served for fourteen years in LRH Tech Compilations, five years in International Marketing, and held the Senior C/S International post in 1997. Dan had auditing tapes approved by LRH when he was a Qual Auditor during LRH’s last extended period of contact with the Sea Org during the late seventies. He was also commended by LRH for cracking a staff member’s case in a cramming session.

Mariette Lindstein served eight years in executive positions in international management and another five years in RTC. When Mariette was swept out of AVC (while it was in RTC) in the late nineties as part of a massive hey-you transfer by Miscavige, eval tech pretty much went with her.

I don’t think Dan’s TRs have gone out since LRH put them in in 1978. He was one of the few people directly on DM’s lines who never got struck physically. I think it was because Dan temporarily as-is’d Miscavige’s bank when it was within range.

Mariette and Dan are some of the most pleasurable people to be in the same space with. They have a world of tech and admin knowledge and experience between them. They still use it to make them successful in their lives today; Mariette as a photographer and caregiver, Dan as a painter and writer. I highly recommend that anyone in the Bay Area, or anyone traveling through the area, try to spend some time with them. It will be time well spent.

Christie and son Shane

Christie King Collbran was in the Sea Org from the age of 16 until the age of 29. She was  well known as a hot shot Establishment Officer. She endured sadistic and bizarre injustice for the simple reason that she would not robotically follow demands to abandon her personal integrity. She finally left the Sea Org three years ago. Earlier this year she began to explore credible accounts of corruption at the top of the org board that corroborated her own observations. For having the integrity to simply explore the truth, her mother and father were recruited by Miscavology agents to intimidate her into silence and unthinking compliance. Despite their own misgivings about what the Church had become during their decades-long involvement, they chose to relay the Church’s ultimatum of “our way or the highway” to their daughter – and by extention to their two year old grandson. Christie was declared for failing to cave to this cowardly coercion tactic. Despite that she is going through a divorce, and is the mother of a wonderful child whom she cherishes and nurtures, she chose to maintain her personal integrity over the relatively comfortable life she had created for her family since leaving the SO. Her certainty has increased as she has strenghtened her personal integrity through this ordeal. She has spent more of her time sharing that strength with others similarly situated to herself than to her own personal future. Through all this Christie has become a more admirable example of what a real Scientologist is than I ever had the privilege to associate with during my decades within Miscavology.

cathyg

Cathy Greenbaum was a Flag public in the nineties when she and her husband divorced. Since her husband was a high-roller “OT” Flag public, the Miscavology machine lurched its formidable canons on his side pointed at her. She was threatened with a suppressive person declare at the Mecca if she did not give up all of her legal rights in favor of her ex-husband. Cathy never allowed her affinity for her then-young child to be alloyed, and took the declare without forfeiting her personal integrity. She endured eleven years of isolation from all friends she had made in the Miscavology community. And while her husband steered her son into that community and attempted to alienate him from his mother, Cathy never abandoned her love for her child nor her own integrity. She had every reason to go after the Church of Scientology, to doubt everything she ever personally thought she got out of it, and cash in personally. Instead, she carried on with dignity and built her character through the adversity. You cannot bestow or manufacture strength like that. I don’t care how many FCCI intensives or IAS statuses you buy.

When Christie and Cathy connected up, these two incredible beings began to naturally acknowledge and validate one another’s virtues. Together, they generate a theta energy that can be felt and drawn upon from thousands of miles away. Their example humbles and inspires me and Mosey every day.

Independent Scientologists

Let’s begin creating a sane global community on a simple, but effective, gradient.  There is a thing called a meet group.  People with similar interests create local groups with people who share their views, interests, hobbies, religion, whatever.  Former Jehovah’s Witnesses is a rather large one. Stay at home moms is another. The real purpose of a meet group is to allow people to find people in their area who have something in common and to meet with them and perhaps continue to meet with them and establish ongoing relations.

A local meet group is best left to itself to define itself. It is usually as simple as one founding member takes the initiative to host a meet of any kind. Could be a picnic, a BBQ, a ball game, a cup of coffee, a party, you name it. From there, people get to know others similarly interested or situated, friendships develop. More meets are agreed upon. It may go no further than serving as a platform for people to connect up and enjoy the company at those meets. Depending on the chemistry of the folks involved, it can develop into something more directed and may take on goals and purposes of its own. As they grow in numbers networks of such groups can become powerful social forces.

I suggest people who have decided they are Scientologists irrespective of – and even in spite of –  their standing with the church create meet groups in their local areas. The initial purpose of such a group is  to create a community of independent Scientologists.  The simple action of doing so can bring about a number of beneficial results. It can help any or all members to achieve any of the six points I listed in my post of 25 Sep,  Independent Scientologists Community.   That is possible merely by the fact of making oneself known to other independent Scientologists and sharing your experiences.

I suggest another purpose be adopted in addition to meeting up and beginning to form a community. That is, to serve as safe terminals for others who are being hounded by the church for asserting their own independence or having the temerity to honestly look at what is happening within the church and comparing that to what is happening in the world.  I pledge my support to back you up directly should you run into flak for simply exercising your Constitutional rights to communicate and assemble.  I know several others experienced in such matters who will do the same.  We’ve got your back if you’ve got the backs of others like you in your zone.

I am willing to use this blog spot as an initial clearinghouse to any Independent Scientologists groups that make that pledge to defend others similarly situated.  All I need is a jpg photo of the initial members, names, single terminal contact information, and a short description of anything you all want locals or  the broader independent Scientologists community to know about you.

I’ll devote a section of this blog spot to list and show your group and supply your contact information so that folks interested in your local area can easily join in. I’ll also post features reporting wins and achievements you all report.

Initially, you can coordinate members of your group via email. Your next step might be to set up your own blog spot to make yourself known and to coordinate your meetings. Once several meet groups are up and running, they can learn of other such groups in their vicinity and even afar, communicate, coordinate, and network.  The possibilities across the dynamics are limitless.

There are two datums you might want to consider in terms of how large you want your groups to become. First, in HCO PL Why Organizations Stay Small, LRH writes of the ideal organizational set up of allowing any executive to have no more than five direct juniors. One rationale for that is that he considered that is about the number where a group could operate and still any member of it could easily approach the I/C or coordinator on a personal basis. Interestingly, Clay Shirky in Here Comes Everybody – The Power of Organizing Without Organization came up with a similar datum in terms of groups forming and communicating on the Internet. He graphically showed how a group of five can comfortably communicate one to the other without creating too much density of meaningless, background, catch up comm.  At ten, the density becomes so thick the relationships lose their intimacy. So, I suggest when you approach somewhere between five and ten members – you consider having  a couple members start up an additional group. If you all get along  just fine, and don’t want to break it up, the two groups (or more) can stay in close touch and sponsor larger meets. Or, if larger groups work for you there are no hard and fast rules. Remember, it only takes two to start a group. Once you’ve made the move, like minded people in your area will know of your whereabouts and how to contact you.

Initially we’ll refer to you as your city name followed by “Independents.”  City’s can be divided up by sections, neighborhoods, etc as expansion occurs.

There is absolutely no legal ground for Miscavology to do a blessed thing about this exercise of your Constitutional rights to freedom of religion, expression, association and assembly. None.  There is no fee, there is no obligation beside creating community and providing support for those persecuted by the Church for applying Scientology in a humane, sane, and pro-survival  manner.

Make it safe for Scientologists with integrity – including yourself – to flourish.  Move on up to cause.

Please send your photos, names and contact info to me at Sthtexlensman@aol.com

Community

I believe the way we are going to effectuate the most effective genuine change is by de-ptsing ourselves. Several mechanisms are wielded by Miscavology to keep the sheep in the pen and to keep the more adventurous ones in fear of straying too far. The most common weapon is the disconnect card. It is used to keep people in a state of terror of losing their family, friends and livelihoods. Many on-line, or at least in good standing, public and former staff have reached out for advice on how to keep pursuing the truth without losing one or more of what they consider integral parts of their communities. As more appear and more are made aware of fellow independent minded folk in their vicinities little communities are forming. The effects of the support independent Scientologists give to one another are remarkable personally, on the family dynamic, and in terms of business networking.

While watching these successes begin to unfold, it occurred to me that if the process of forming communities were aided and a form of coordination amongst neighboring and even distant similar communities began – however informally – the de-ptsing could expand exponentially with little effort. The ripple effects of independent thinking Scientologists connecting are immeasurable.

Some inquiring minds have also been asking, but what of my Bridge? Well, for starters I have found the case gain being attained by independent Scientologists simply connecting up with one another and validating one another’s gains that were were suppressed under Miscavology are spectacular. Escaping from the suppression and Reverse Scientology practiced in Miscavology tends to rehab every ability you once thought you had attained but were convinced by reges, recruiters, E/Os acting for reges, execs acting as reges, etc were canceled due to your “out ethics” for failing to mortgage your home or drain your retirement account to fill DM’s coffers.

If you want to continue with formal auditing, I know there are some fine independent auditors whose dance cards are not full. I bet there are many more because I haven’t even really explored the free zone much.

But more fundamentally, the communities that independent minded Scientologists are so fearful of being expelled from are deviating more and more from the Aims of Scientology as promulgated by LRH. Those communities are becoming increasingly tolerant of and thus encouraging of insanity and criminality (particularly financial criminality). They are being leaned on hard to continue to contribute to the “wars” that Miscavige is so fond of declaring. Honest beings in those communities have long since been stripped of any rights. The able are increasingly being made to suffer rather than prosper, and when one manages to somehow reach greater heights, he or she is pressured to become a pimping cog in the financial irregularity machine.

So, let’s examine what we mean by community. What is a community? What kind of community do real Scientologists want? What are the benefits of sharing an ethical, sane community?

Malcolm Gladwell’s book Outliers begins with a chapter about a small town in Pennsylvania named Roseto. It was named after the village its Italian-American inhabitants’ ancestors had emigrated from during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Sometime in the 1950’s a guest speaker at a local medical conference, Dr. Stewart Wolf, happened to notice that there was an extremely low incidence of heart failure in Roseto. Wolf investigated for years to determine how this small burg could apparently beat what was then a nationwide epidemic.

Using every medical and scientific investigative means Wolf – with the aid of other doctors and a sociologist (John Bruhn) – failed to find a single physical common denominator that explained Rosetans’ longevity. They seemed to drink, smoke and eat fatty foods just as often as most other Americans.

Then:

What Wolf began to realize was that the secret of Roseto wasn’t diet or exercise or genes or location. It had to be Roseto itself. As Bruhn and Wolf walked around the town, they figured out why. They looked at how the Rosetans visited one another, stopping to chat in Italian on the street, say, or cooking for one another in their backyards. They learned about the extended family clans that underlay the town’s social structure. They saw how many homes had three generations living under one roof, and how much respect grandparents commanded. They went to mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel and saw the unifying and calming effect of the church. They counted twenty-two separate civic organizations in a town of just under two thousand people. They picked up on the particular egalitarian ethos of the community, which discouraged the wealthy from flaunting their success and helped the unsuccessful obscure their failures.”

Wolf and Bruhn went on to discuss their findings at medical conferences across the country, “about the mysterious and magical benefits of people stopping to talk to one another on the street, and of having three generations under one roof. Living a long life, the conventional wisdom at the time said, depended to a great extent on who we were – that is, our genes. It depended on the decisions we made – on what we chose to eat, and how much we chose to exercise, and how effectively we were treated by the medical system. No one was used to thinking in terms of community.

Communication, great social activity, love and respect for family, attending a church that has a “unifying and calming effect”? Imagine that. Kind of sounds like a firm foundation for “A civilization without insanity, without criminals, and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where Man is free to rise to greater heights…”

Maybe we should stop being so confounded worried about being expelled from immoral, rapidly declining communities and start getting busy building ones in which we can be happy and of which we can be proud.

Eva and DM – Part III

A couple years ago DM was holding court in the presence of some Scientology Celebrities. Little did he know that one of them was not your garden variety Kool Aid drinking fawner. This particular woman is a friendly, sassy and savvy individual. Her beingness – at least back in the day – could be described as insouciant. She also wields a pretty awesome bullshit detector.

Well, the celebrity happened to see Lou affecionately pat DM on the butt, thinking that she was not being watched. Having a high level of integrity, the celebrity did precisely what LRH policy calls for in such a circumstance. She wrote a knowledge report on what she witnessed.

Not being the prudish type, perhaps she was motivated by care for the survival of International Scientology. After all, LRH had this to say on the subject:

It is interesting that a review of faltering orgs that got into trouble in their areas each one had a bad sex entanglement high on staff.

A review of actions of orgs and attacks over the last fifteen years makes it stand out sharply that an org which is mixed up sexually in the higher echelons will not be effective, will have low statistics and can’t defend itself on the public front.

Such are not attacked for loose sexual relations. They are just too decayed to do a good job of defense or follow policy. So they become subject to attack.”

HCO POLICY LETTER OF 3 MARCH 1966 (OEC Vol 7 page 690)

The celebrity’s ethical vigilance was rewarded in much the same manner Shelly’s was, only tailored for a public Scientologist. She was ordered to Flag for behavior modification. At her own expense she was treated to sec checking and ethics handlings to find out why she was “critical of COB.” The end phenomena was to admit there must be something wrong with her to have had that perception. I invite folks to read T Paine’s Mechanisms of Miscavige at http://www.scientology-cult.com/mechanisms-of-miscavige.html if you haven’t done so already. Think again if you doubt mind control is being practiced by Miscavige to cover his crimes and create unthinking loyalty.

Had the celebrity’s accurate perceptions  been heeded rather than suppressed, they might have been used to put period to DM’s commission of the out ethics activities that LRH says outright wrecks organizations when practiced at the top.

An unimpeachable witness has subsequently disclosed that not only were Shelly and the celebrity perceptive in suspecting that DM was engaging in Out Ethics activity, he was doing it in ostentatious style, courtesy of his buddy Tom Cruise.

On long flights aboard Cruise’s personal jet, DM and Lou would retire for hours on end to Tom’s bedroom cabin, a cabin that is outfitted only for the purpose of lying upon the bed.

We have no proof what went on behind the bedroom cabin door. But, I credit the perceptions of Shelly Miscavige (who suffered greatly for deciding to cease ignoring outpoints and situations), and the celebrity Scientologist (who was coerced to pay for the privilege of the implanting of doubt of her own perceptions), and my other witnesses who have supplied the remainder of the testimony for this series.

Perhaps the saddest, and most telling, part of this story is that Lou used to be a quite likable, friendly and ethical individual. Many people will remember her as that. For that reason, we are all hoping she will wake up and escape before hunkering down in the bunker with Miscavige.

Peace to all of you – and there were many – who had your thoughts (or rather, Miscavige’s interpretations and embellishments of your thoughts) on the 2D broadcast in a fashion so as to belittle, invalidate and make you all feel less.

Remember what a wise man once wrote: “Basically, if sometimes clouded over with the not-so-pale cast of bad experience, your potentialities are a great deal better than anyone ever permitted you to believe.”

Eva, Manuela, and Dave – Part II

I learned from credible sources what occurred after I left RTC in 04. Quite  contrary to Miscavige’s minions’ recent sworn declarations, no ‘renaissance’ occurred. Instead, Miscavige’s Medievel ways barrelled out of control. He became increasingly despotic and violent. He had three of the four doors of the Hole fitted with bars and padlocked them shut – with 24/7 security manning the only remaining unbolted egress. Miscavige created a complete culture of violence, grooving in a Hole I/C (In Charge) to instigate violence, then busting him and then doing the same with a succession of Hole I/Cs. Even Russ Bellin, former CO CST, who recently sanctimoniously swore under the pains and penalties of perjury that I was a violent lunatic for breaking his titanium watch, became a particularly brutal and sadistic Hole I/C.

Miscavige took to drinking hard liquor every night. A close friend of mine was invited on a number occasions to join him, and listen to his increasingly non-sequitor, drunken, and lengthy soliloquies about how virtually everybody was out to get him.

During this period Shelly confided in my friend that she was terrified because she thought Dave was “going Type III.” She lamented how he would sometimes walk around mumbling, then periodically shouting, “Shelly, where is the gold buried?” She swore she had no idea what gold DM was referring to.

The more Shelly seperated herself out from DM’s valence, the more he distanced himself from her and confided in his troika of adoring associates, Laurisse (Lou) Stuckenbrock (for many years COB’s Communicator), Jenny Devocht Linsen (Hole I/C, currently D/CO CMO INT for WDC), and Angie Blankenship (COB Programs Ops, Hole I/C, and currently WDC for Ideal Orgs). DM became so close with the troika Shelly suspected that he was going out 2D (having an affair in Scientologese) with at least Lou.

When Shelly’s suspicions became obvious to DM, she was taken off post, disconnected from DM and put under intensive behavior control to attempt to ruin her self-esteem and create self-doubts about her perceptions. There has been much speculation as to where the program was and is being executed. I do not know of her whereabouts.

At the infamous April 15 Denver meeting, DM’s personal attorney Yingling offered to produce to Mike Rinder anyone from the Int base he might want to talk to. In a follow up call that same day Mike chose Shelly. Yingling stammered, saying that she couldn’t do that, did not know of Shelly’s whereabouts and hadn’t seen her for some time. As Mike pressed her to disclose Shelly’s location, Yingling slipped into non-sequitor, “Tommy is sitting right next to me.”

DM has been clearly put on notice that a strong network of Shelly’s friends on the outside are watching with vigilence which increases the likelihood of her being treated with some measure of decency.
