Lynne Hoverson and Bert Schippers speak out in Seattle!

I have had the privilege of meeting these fine folks. Their write up may be the most damning indictment to date on Scientology Inc’s disregard and disdain for those who empower it. Btw, Seattle is rocking.

Bert Schippers and Lynne Hoverson hereby announce that we no longer support, and are no longer part of, the squirrel organization called the Church of Scientology.

So much has been written by others before us, that expressed exactly what we wanted to say when we could not. For that we thank you all very much! The histories posted helped us see that we were not alone, that the outpoints we saw weren’t just “something wrong with us.”

Who we are: Lynne joined Scientology in 1973, training on NED and then the Levels, and reaching OT III in 1986, the year Bert started in Scientology. We married in 1989 and started our own company. Since then Lynne has reached OT V and three L’s and Bert made it to OT IV.

Over the years we put off getting new cars and beautiful houses, instead donating our way to the levels of Patron Meritorious in the IAS, Double Cornerstone in the Super Power Project and Triple Humanitarian for the Seattle Ideal Org. We helped CCHR Seattle survive for decades, we worked as Volunteer Ministers and in various other church activities. We were told repeatedly that we were wonderful “Opinion Leaders,” especially during efforts to get more donations from us, but we were shunned instantly when we refused to toe the line!

You may wonder why we donated so much, may even think we were crazy to do so. Did we do it for the “statuses?” Absolutely not! Our purpose in donating was to HELP. We really thought that we were helping others, helping those less fortunate, helping protect freedoms. It made all the personal sacrifices less significant. Imagine the betrayal we felt after coming to see the fraud and human rights abuses so rampant in virtually everything involving the church!

What did we experience that brought us to the point of making this open declaration?

Finding out that Lynne’s son in the Sea Org would no longer be allowed to have children, and having to turn a blind eye to the fact that this was a direct violation of what LRH said about balancing the dynamics.
Being made to feel guilty about doing anything in life but what was “approved” by the church.
Forced disconnection from Lynne’s non-Scientologist daughter in 2001 until we saw the truth in 2009.
Inquisition-like ethics cycles at Flag with two MAAs reading the meter, baiting and badgering and then threatening expulsion for being upset with an MAA.
Completely botched Clear cycle for Lynne’s daughter, costing tens of thousands of dollars and many years of upset, with literally zero actual care, handling, or results from CC, Flag and AOLA.
The death of a dedicated staff member resulting in her being denigrated for abandoning her post and “pulling it in.” This person was one of the most helpful, gracious people who’d ever been on staff and everyone in the area loved her. The attitude that when something bad happens to you, it means you are a bad person, was drilled in over many years.
Experiencing the difference in Auditing before and after the “golden age of tech” and the redefinition of an F/N; generally the difference between “win” and “no-win.” (Though as LRH says, some wins came through from the actual tech, despite the alterations.)
SP declares on Lynne’s son and his wife for blowing the SO despite going back and completing a proper routing out cycle, leading to years of disconnection and more tens of thousands in dollars of expense in “handling.”

After donating $300,000 to the Seattle Ideal Org, we were treated like enemies because we are friends with Tony & Marie-Joe Dephillips – resulting in being denied entrance to the Grand Opening. (See attachment of communication exchange that took place)
In spite of the promise, in writing, that anyone who donated $5000 or more to the Seattle Ideal Org would have their names on a memorial plaque, our names were deliberately omitted! (See photo attachment.)
Having all our Scientologist employees quit, including Lynne’s son and his wife, and Scientologist customers stop doing business with our company, because we would not fire Lynne’s daughter for speaking out.
Being essentially “disconnected from” by Lynne’s son and his wife because we woke up.

What finally woke us up? The SP Times article was too much to confront at first for Lynne. So she checked out what the church had to say instead. When Tommy Davis asserted that he had affidavits from 22 people that one person had beaten 50 people over a period of years, she immediately thought of the HCOPL “Knowledge Reports” where it says a group that allows such behavior is an out-ethics group. With a gasp she realized that Int Management was an out-ethics group!

Looking up more of Tommy Davis, she heard him lie about there being no such thing as disconnection – after all the disconnection we had gone through! That was like having a bomb dropped on her. Communicating all this to Bert, it turned out that he had already seen enough. After this we were willing to look at anything and evaluate it without the bias that had been inculcated in us over the years. Yes we saw plenty of falsehoods in the anti-church data, but we were finally exercising our right to look for ourselves and to determine for ourselves what was true. And too much of it was true, to be ignored any longer.

Why are we speaking up? Our purpose to help others is very much alive, in spite of these experiences. We still donate to charities that help orphans, the elderly and cats.

We want others in the local field to know that there is someone here to talk to. If anyone under the radar contacts us we will keep their info private until they wish to disclose it.

Now having had a review in the independent field, and an ethics program (NOT the MAA-punishment-to-protect-the-church-from-you-evil-beings type of action, but instead a true program that helps one regain certainty of self-worth,) Lynne wants to assure others that their eternity and their bridge progress are not in jeopardy if they leave the church.

We both feel that no one can force another to stand up and be counted because everybody has their own situation, just as we did. But we hope that our announcement will help inspire others to work through those situations so that they too can stand up.

Most Sea Org members and Staff members are incredible people, who also really want to help. We feel sorry for those people. They are sacrificing so much in their own lives in order to live up to the expectations of upper mis-management. There is so much that needs to be corrected, most of which we have experienced or observed for ourselves: controlled communication, enforced disconnection, forced abortions, unlawful imprisonment, human-trafficking, and demanding huge sums of money from parishioners under false pretexts. These and all other abuses perpetrated by the church must CEASE!

It is interesting that we’re now a family in a group of people with many different viewpoints on the tech and life, and we tolerate them all, just as we should have all along, instead of insisting that only one viewpoint was allowed. Lynne loved her training and wouldn’t trade the gains of going clear for the world. Bert, on the other hand, had some very discouraging experiences, and does not want to have anything further to do with organized religion. Among the large group of those who’ve left the church in the Seattle area, we know people with an even wider range of viewpoints than this, yet now we all get along.

Oh, and in case anyone from the church is reading this, WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK!

HCO PL 4 March 1965 : Reserved Payment Account

OEC Vol 3, p. 315: Purpose of the Reserved Payment Account: To prevent a false idea of the financial position of the org from occurring by providing a place where money awaiting disbursement can be placed before it is actually paid out, thus removing it from the general accounts and estimates of financial position of the org.

OEC Vol 3, p. 316: Savings: When the org desires to buy something big or expensive, it should not use time payments, hire, purchase or mortgages. It should start putting money into the Reserved Payment Account and, when the full sum is there, buy the item for cash, using the fact to obtain a good, big discount. While the Building Fund on building purchases is also intended to help buy buildings outright, there is nothing wrong with also depositing available amounts of the disbursement sum in the Reserved Payment Account to help out.

HCO PL 18 Jan 1965: Financial Management Building Fund Account

OEC Vol 3, p. 42: The primary purpose is to provide a cushion by which an organization which is becoming insolvent may be salvaged. The secondary purpose of the Building Fund is to purchase property, but when this is done, the purchase must be for cash or, if any mortgage is involved, all further payments than the initial payment must be made from expense sum.

OEC Vol 3, p. 247: HCO PL 28 Jan 1965: How to Maintain Credit Standing and Solvency

The secret to solvency is:

1. Make a lot of money.

2. Spend less than you make.

3. Make it before you spend it.

4. Gather bit by bit a cushion of cash to fall back on and don’t ever fall back on it.

5. Keep your credit excellent as a second cushion.

6. Refuse to spend reserves

Etc.

These basic LRH policy letters on finance plus the many others contained in Volume 3, give a perfect roadmap for expanding any org, whether the local org in your local sphere or the upper level orgs in Int’l Management. Clearly there is an abandonment of LRH finance policy, witnessed by the Ideal Org fund raising program, which is off- policy and not to be found in any LRH policy. With off-policy as the current operating basis from COB, David Miscavige, I have no choice but to withdraw my allegiance to the Church of Scientology as I can no longer support anything but pure LRH.

To give one a little history. I found Scientology in 1984. I was living in Tyler, Texas and my sister-in-law had just been introduced to the subject and had done Life Repair. I could tell from talking to her on the phone that she was different. At that time, life had kicked me in the teeth enough times and I was looking for answers. I asked how much money I needed and I was told around $2,500. I was a single woman at the time, teaching school and had no resources. I went around to 3 banks, asking for an unsecured loan and when they all turned me down, I then lied and said I needed money for my daughter who needed health care. That was the magic ticket and I left with a loan for $3,000, getting just a little extra in case I wanted to do a course.

I purchased the Dianetics book and then I took off for Dallas to the Mission of the Southwest, there on Mandeville Road, off Central Expressway.

I paid for Life Repair and cleared words while in session, as I had no prior information about this subject. My life turned on a dime, and I handled a long-term situation with my father. I was really happy for the first time.

I returned to Tyler, taught school and one day while mowing my lawn, I decided that I wanted to go Clear. I called my ex sister-in-law (we had both since divorced the boys) and I moved in with her, quit teaching, had no idea where I’d work or what I’d do, but I knew I wanted to go Clear.

Shortly thereafter I joined staff and was the PCS in Div. 6 for a 2-1/2 year contract. During that time we had highest ever statistics with new public and the org was booming.

Not to bore anyone with the full story, suffice it to say, that I have worked totally in an environment with fellow Scientologist since 1984, and have been dedicated and very engaged in my Church.

In 1987, I regged Jay Proctor for staff as well as my 2D and from that point forward, we both loved and used LRH policy to navigate our marriage and the raising of our son, who was delivered by standard LRH birthing policies in our home with a mid-wife. In October 2009, Jay dropped his body, with a full LRH Last C/S, surrounded by OTs. We applied LRH tech to our everyday life.

LRH tech was the glue for our life, as there is no situation that we were unable to handle using the tech. In the 1980’s – early 1990’s, it was fun being a Scientologist and a staff member, even though we worked very long hours. We had community activities, we played the Birthday Game for blood, we had great parties at the org on Friday nights, both public and staff included. We had church picnics and a real sense of family.

In 2001, shortly after September 11^th, my mother dropped her body and my OT levels had been paid for some time. I arrived at AOLA and began, going straight through from R6EW to OT V, completing in September 2002.

All along the way, I saw more and more outpoints. And now, to see our church be so off the rails with regards to finance policy deeply saddens me. LRH provided all of us with this beautiful tech, and it is being misapplied by Chairman of the Board, David Miscavige.

This is unconscionable for me.

Whether any of these outpoints are true for you, you have to determine that. But, outside of the Ideal Org program, here are some additional outpoints I began to observe:

1. For many years, at major events, none of the usual Int’l Management Executives shared the stage with COB as they formerly had been. They used to be part of every program.

2. There is a distinct upper strata structure that LRH laid out to provide checks and balances within the organization, which would include these International Executives. Where are they?

3. Has RTC (Religious Technology Center), Church of Scientology Int’l (CSI) and Church of Spiritual Technology (CST) been un-mocked and collapsed? Is David Miscavige chairing them all? http://www.savescientology.com/

4. Heber Jentzch, the President of the Church of Scientology. Where is he? He had not been seen in many years, and he has to be nearing 75 years in age. He didn’t die, so where is he?

5. Saint Hill-size orgs were popular in the 1990’s which provided for orgs to build their staff and public ranks to the size of Saint Hill Org in the UK. ASHO in Los Angeles achieved this status for a brief segment in time in the late 90’s. What happened with this program? And why was it disbanded?

6. I noticed there aren’t Class VIII auditors produced as before? Why?

7. I was at Flag in the mid 90’s and at that time, there were several Class XII auditors that LRH trained. I can’t find any of them now. Where are they?

If any of this has resonated in any way with you, please check for yourself some of the key stats in your local org. Observe them for yourself on the OIC board – which is the stat board that HCO keeps posted in plain view or should.

1. NNCF – New Names to Central Files. These come from Books sold to new people or new people arriving for first service at a mission or org.

2. BIS – Bodies in the shop. This would be of interest with regards to both Division 6 (new people) as well as Division 2 (returning public).

Observe for yourself and if these stats are up trending in your org? And if the #’s are sufficient for viability?

To ensure survival, LRH finance policy must be applied and applied standardly. This means monies come from a well-oiled operational org that delivers services in such abundance, making more money than the org can waste. These abundances are channeled into the Reserves Accounts and the Building Fund account.

Then when repairs are needed for everyday operations OR a new phase of expansion, which could include renovations to the existing structure or a new structure, the monies are available, as there has been complete adherence to proper finance policy along the way, thus ensuring the infrastructure is in place to facilitate the expansion. LRH gave us the tech and the road map to ensure stability both in terms of monies, structure, staff and public. When followed, true expansion occurs and all is stable.

However, the caveat is that orgs take orders from International Management. Now, that is a single individual – David Miscavige.

Please “Look, don’t listen”. Whether your reality is similar to mine or light-years different – from this point forward, I invite you to look closer. Check out things further – allow no carte blanche acceptance.

In no way am I discrediting all the wonderful Scientologists, both staff and public that I have come to know along the way — some incredibly lovely people that I love dearly, including the staff members who devote their lives to this cause.

But under the current leader, we have lost LRH’s Church to “Miscavige’s Church”. It is no longer the LRH that we once knew and loved, and therefore, I cannot continue to show support.

Recently, on national television, Tommy Davis, the Church’s spokesperson, said that it was false that the church’s policy was that you had to give up your friends if you chose to leave the church.

You now have that choice. I will always keep my comm lines open to any of you who wish to call me that cherished word, friend.

My decision is made. Please respect and grant beingness. It is my wish that each of us flourish and prosper. That is my plan, and I will be moving along with the correct application of the LRH conditions to achieve that.

Larry Wright and The New Yorker

Whether I agree with some of his views and conclusions or not, I am fairly certain about two things concerning Larry Wright and his work. One, he is honestly attempting to understand the phenomena that is Scientology from the outside. Two, he has opened a public debate on Scientology in such a thorough, balanced, newsworthy fashion it will have huge and continuing repurcussions.

If anyone wants to moan about a less than flattering treatment of LRH and the tech, again, you can thank David Miscavige in large part for that. The church’s reaction toward Mr. Wright and the publication he works for is enough to make any outsider believe he is dealing with a destructive cult. The incessant church badgering and threats to steer clear of writing anything about Miscavige can easily, and not even necessarily consciously, lead a man looking for answers to attribute more of their insanity to the Founder than is warranted in my view.

Miscavige and his minions spent hundreds of thousands throwing L Ron Hubbard under the bus so as to protect Miscavige. That they continue to do so is no reason for us to shut up. That is Radical Scientology’s intention. More communication is the answer, not less. And now is not the time to shy away from the public debate. You will see it roll out with gusto starting this week and continuing for many weeks. Your voices are integral to the public discussion.

At the end of the day, Mr. Wright and The New Yorker deserve props for making it out the other end of the Miscavige meat grinder with one of the more informed, accurate pieces of journalism on the subject to date.

Confront of Evil

JB told me that just prior to his blow from the Int base last Spring that he felt particularly ill at ease after a brief encounter he had with David Miscavige’s father, trumpeter Ron Miscavige Sr. Ron stopped JB as he was walking across the base and asked him if he knew about me and others being interviewed by Anderson Cooper of CNN. JB knew little to nothing about it at that time and communicated as much. Ron, faced flushed red and trembling, said “they ought to be shot.” Mike and I know that Ron Miscavige receives his briefings about such “external flaps” directly and only from David Miscavige. When JB learned that, the incident was all the more chilling to him. He then connected the dots with another incident that occurred just prior to that, wherein Miscavige’s communicator asked JB to retrieve a .38 caliber pistol from the guns room for Dave. From the descriptions the pistol belonged to me. The church failed to send it along when I demanded all of my personal MEST after leaving. All of this was reported to law enforcement authorities and it has been investigated thoroughly. So that nobody get too excited about it, apparently, the intended op was not to have me murdered with my own gun, but instead to somehow link it to my brother’s murder thirty-one years ago, five years before the gun was even manufactured. To add irony to insanity, the gun was given to me as a gift by Miscavige and I had only shot it once on his exclusive target range at the Int base because I had to per protocol come there when invited by him. Law enforcement found out that the gun was in fact registered to Rick Aznaran, a former staff member who double hatted as Guns I/C on the base in the eighties. Incidentally, most guns – dozens of them – on the base were so registered, and David Miscavige is the ONLY person who controls, and thus effectively owns, all of them. His personal arsenal makes David Koresh look like a kid with a sling shot.

I tell you this not to frighten you, but instead to illustrate how apparencies projected by a criminal organization can appear far more sinister and threatening than they are in fact. JB – who had more than thirty years on staff – was pretty concerned about my personal physical safety (and bless him for offering to implement all manner of security measures at my home). I could have found a hole to crawl into. But Mike and I knew with certainty, from years inside the evil ops circle, that the facts JB knew were going to wind up fizzling in some comedic, albeit, sick dead end. And so, we reported it but turned most of our attention to getting the show on the road. And JB, holding his position in space against twenty coyotes sent to retrieve him, calmly observing events as they unfolded, decompressing, and learning to comfortably confront evil rather than let it get him, is living a marvelous and fulfilling life.

And so a half a year of one frustrated op after another exploding in Miscavige’s face, today Miscavige apparently is going bat-shit crazy with our success. He seems to react more violently than anything to abused pcs and pre-OTs of his group getting repaired, rehabbed and moving on LRH’s Bridge to Freedom down here. He’s on his third round of having PIs visit my preclears and Pre-OTs offering cash rewards to turn on me by saying anything bad. Two individuals, whom he believes are so newly out of the church they can still be intimidated with his bullshit, have been visited by no less than fifteen people between the two of them over the past week. He has non-tech trained people making all manner of wild stab case indications, along with single, out of context tech quotes to attempt to convince them they were “harmed” by me. One of them, Lori Hodgson, has had her teenage children used against her as missiles. They have disconnected from her with tremendous drama and stagecraft, including pleas that she make that unnecessary by turning on me. Their scripts have them try to make Lori feel as if it is Lori that is causing the disconnection. Reverse Scientology in action.

It occurred to me that if Corporate Scientology put 1/100^th of the resources they do to cowing individuals busting out of their pens instead to servicing those same people in the first place, the church of Scientology would be an important, pro-survival force in society. Instead, it is a dwindling, repulsive cult.

I have told anyone wanting to come visit with me that there is a liability. The church has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to procure look out spots in my county so that they – from undercover – can spot those who come to visit me. They never show their cowardly faces of course. There is a pattern, shortly after their visit the queer disconnection ops begin on the visitor. The crime, literally is stated as “you visited Marty.” And the consequences have been largely precisely what I have informed every person in advance of their visits: they will pressure you with every connection to Radical Scientologists that you have, including particularly friends, family, and work associates.

Recently, several independents who have created a particularly large ripple effect on my blog have reported hacked email accounts and Facebook accounts. Surveillance on myself and other friends has been stepped up. Haven’t heard a peep of fear or concern on their parts. Independents are made of hearty stock. I tell them to do what they can to trace the source, but change their passwords regularly so it can’t recur.

Four of my pcs and pre-OTs have been threatened by the church with lawsuits for having been audited by me. This demonstrates just how weak Radical Scientology’s hand is. A year ago they promised prominent public members of the church that they would put me out of the running via lawsuit in short order. No suit – because they cannot even mock up a claim with even a scintilla of credibility not to be heavily sanctioned out of court. To threaten me was a joke and show trial for their fence sitting members. They intended all along to take me out via intel ops. And I guess even they know by now how nastily that has backfired. To threaten to sue the recipient of auditing is so freaking bizarre as to serve one purpose and one purpose only. To demonstrate how weak and desperate they are. Of course they swore to the St Pete Times, CNN, New York Times, and BBC that they would be sued. Where’s the beef? Right where Mike and I promised those four media outlets it would be about now – still deep within the dark recesses of Miscavige’s GPM.

The pathetic and empty nature of their threats serves as confirmation of my oft-repeated analysis: AS INDEPENDENTS BECOME MORE NUMEROUS AND COURAGEOUS, RADICAL SCIENTOLOGY’S RESOURCES TO HARASS WILL BECOME MORE DISSIPATED AND THEIR “ATTACKS” WILL BECOME LESS AND LESS EFFECTIVE. And so it has played itself out in that fashion.

But it ain’t over til the fat lady sings. And last I heard she was still tightening her girdle before making an entrance on stage. She’s a real diva at heart, but you got to love her.

The next few months are gonna get real bad for Radical Scientology. With more in-depth exposes around the corner by journalists with serious credentials , and independent Standard Scientology services proliferating, they are pulling out all stops. At this rate, within a couple months Miscavige will have virtually all of church management working on actively stopping Scientology training and auditing in the only place it is happening standardly and routinely, the Independent field.

What to do?

I can tell you what has been extremely successful for me. That may have some weight, since Miscavige has spent millions of dollars on publications and websites dubbing me the “kingpin”, and since everyone knows the “kingpin” is the only guy who can’t squeal to escape the heat, all ops are pointed in my direction. And he’s spent millions running those Wiley Coyote Ops. And in the face of that, I can’t make enough time or space to satisfy the demand for people wanting to come to Casablanca. Incidentally, that too tells me what an incredible group of strong individuals you are. Evil danger? Bring it on! Do you know how much impact Lori Hodgson, for example, has had on R/Sers by her calmly facing the atrocities they attempt to visit upon her? It is significant. And she is only the latest of dozens who have similarly confronted evil and came out stronger on the other end. I am in awe of you guys and gals.

Which leads to the handling, because my handling is what I see the likes of Lori, Christie King, Mary Jo Leavitt, Tony and Marie Joe DePhillips, et al, ad infitum successfully doing day in and day out.

They are all POWER terminals; and cannot be hurt by a pack of coward losers as exists in R/S.

Some people have debated which LRH definition of power is correct:

A. Speed of particle flow alone determines power.

B. The ability to hold one’s position in space.

In fact, they are absolutely consistent with one another. That is patently clear when one understands the woof and warp of the universe which we have jointly created. Energy and power are generated only by stable terminals. Listen to the PDC if any confusion remains.

In order for A to occur, one must achieve B.

That is why I believe LRH wrote that the World Begins With TR 0.

If you keep your eye on the ball and see their pranks for what they are they have very little impact. In fact, they can actually serve as entertainment. Don’t ever lose your sense of humor. Recognize, you are dealing with the bully at school who no matter how annoying he could make himself with threats and swagger, never could deliver a bloody nose. What happened to those types in your school? One day, they went a step too far and gave an ethical, strong person a grounds to ground the bastard.

And so don’t get all restimulated. The aim of an SP is to get into your head in order to enturbulate. The ONLY power of the SP is restimulation. If the SP can’t get in your head, he can’t restimulate and thus he is rendered POWERLESS. And you remain stable, and thus able to generate POWER.

And remain vigilant. Remember the price of freedom. And also recognize, the price of freedom does not include the injunction to “be serious.” In fact, “constant alertness” can be a lot of fun. It is about the healthiest advice anyone could give another, creepy cult bad boys lurking in the shadows or not.

And when the cowards creeping in the shadows accidentally leave their fingerprints… POUNCE.

Cause ya’ll know – and more and more R/Sers are beginning to understand – we’re sitting pretty, nine feet above their freakin’ heads.

Most importantly, do like the Old Man said to do when facing suppression:

What is Freedom?

Reading some MLK this morning, which has become my habit on the day designated to acknowledge the man and his work, I came across some material you might find useful.

Martin Luther King arrested

On the mechanics of suppression and how it denies an individual the power of choice, MLK from What Is Freedom?, The Ethical Demands for Integration:

What is Freedom? It is, first, the capacity to deliberate or weigh alternatives. “Shall I be a teacher or a lawyer?” “Shall I vote for this candidate or the other candidate?” “Shall I be a Democrat, Republican or Socialist?” Second, freedom expresses itself in decision. The word decision like the word incision involves the image of cutting. Incision means to cut in, decision means to cut off . When I make a decision I cut off alternatives and make a choice. The existentialists say we must choose, that we are choosing animals; and if we do not choose we sink into thinghood and the mass mind. A third expression of freedom is responsibility. This is the obligation of the person to respond if he is questioned about his decisions. No one else can respond for him. He alone must respond, for his acts are determineed by the centered totality of his being.

From this analysis we can clearly see the evilness of segregation. It cuts off one’s capacity to deliberate, decide and respond. The absence of freedom is the imposition of restraint on my deliberation as to what I shall do, where I shall live, how much I shall earn, the kind of tasks I shall pursue. I am robbed of the basic quality of man-ness. When I cannot choose what I shall do or where I shall live or how I shall survive, it means in fact that someone or some system has already made these a priori decision for me, and I am reduced to an animal. I do not live; I merely exist. The only resemblances I have to real life are the motor responses and functions that are akin to humankind. I cannot adequately assume responsibility as a person because I have been made a party to a decision in which I played no part in making.

Now to be sure, this is hyperbole in some degree but only to underscore what actually happens when a man is robbed of his freedom. The very nature of his life is altered and his being cannot make the full circle of personhood because that which is basic to the character of life itself has been diminished.”

On confronting the evil of suppression, MLK from Stride Toward Freedom:

As I thought further I came to see that what we were really doing was withdrawing our cooperation from an evil system, rather than merely withdrawing our economic support from the bus company. The bus company, being an external expression of the system, would naturally suffer, but the basic aim was to refuse to cooperate with evil. At this point I began to think about Thoreau’s Essay on Civil Disobedience. I remembered how, as a college student, I had been moved when I first read this work. I became convinced that what we were preparing to do in Montgomery was related to what Thoreau had expressed. We were simply saying to the white community, “We can no longer lend our cooperation to an evil system.”

Something began to say to me, “He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetuate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.” When oppressed people willingly accept their oppression they only serve to give the oppressor a convenient justification for his acts. Often the oppressor goes along unaware of the evil involved in his oppression so long as the oppressed accepts it. So in ordered to be true to one’s conscience and true to God, a righteous man has no alternative but to refuse to cooperate with an evil system. This I felt was the nature of our action…”

Finally, while reading the following passage, it occurred to me that we are blessed to have a number of Mother Pollards among us. Why it tends to be women who demonstrate this intuitive strength, I do not know. But, it does so happen to be that way. This is in acknowledgment to each of you; and no doubt you will know who you are when you read it. MLK from The Strength of Love:

One of the most dedicated participants in the bus protest in Montgomery, Alabama was an elderly Negro whom we affectionately called Mother Pollard. Although poverty stricken and uneducated, she was amazingly intelligent and possessed a deep understanding of the meaning of the movement. After having walked for several weeks, she was asked if she were tired. With ungrammatical profundity, she answered, “My feets is tired, but my soul is rested.”

On a particular Monday evening, following a tension-packed week which included being arrested and receiving numerous threatening telephone calls, I spoke at a mass meeting. I attempted to convey an overt impression of strength and courage, although inwardly depressed and fear-stricken. At the end of the meeting, Mother Pollard came to the front of the church and said, “Come here, son.” I immediately went to her and hugged her affectionately. “Something is wrong with you,” she said. “You didn’t talk strong tonight.” Seeking further to disguise my fears, I retorted, “Oh, no, Mother Pollard, nothing is wrong. I am feeling as fine as ever.” But her insight was discerning. “Now you can’t fool me,” she said. “I knows something is wrong. Is it that we ain’t doing things to please you? Or is it that the white folks is bothering you?” Before I could respond, she looked directly into my eyes and said, “I don told you we is with you all the way.” Then her face became radiant and she said in words of quiet certainty, “But even if we ain’t with you, God’s gonna take care of you.” As she spoke these consoling words, everything in me quivered and quickened with the pulsing tremor of raw energy.

Since that dreary night in 1956, Mother Pollard has passed on to glory and I have known very few quiet days. I have been tortured without and tormented within by the raging fires of tribulation. I have been forced to muster what strength and courage I have to withstand howling winds of pain and jostling storms of adversity. But as the years have unfolded the eloquently simple words of Mother Pollard have come back again and again to give light and peace and guidance to my troubled soul. “God’s gonna take care of you.”

This faith transforms the whirlwind of despair into a warm and reviving breeze of hope. The words of a motto which a generation ago were commonly found on the walls in the homes of devout persons need to be etched on our hearts:

Fear knocked at the door.

Faith answered.

There was no one there.

RS Puts Its Freak On for Amy and Mat

Here is some breaking news from my good friend of 33 years Mat Pesh. It further illustrates a point I have been making to friends for some time now: the Ogre that is destroying the church of Scientology is not only its failure to practice the technology but also its insistence on performing over-the-top freak shows attempting to shut people up. David Miscavige’s primary collection line is based on his continued, off-policy advertisements of attacks against “Scientology.” While painting himself as a victim he carefuly omits 100% of the “attacks” are brought about by his insane continuing efforts to control thought and suppress free speech, much like is documented below as occuring to this day (literally).

By the way, thanks Amy and Mat. Mike Rinder and I got a whole hell of a lot accomplished over the past couple days. I was wondering why there was so little distraction from the mosquitoes. Now, I know why.

RADICAL CORPORATE SCIENTOLOGY CONTINUES TO FAIL

For those who don’t already know, my wife Amy Scobee and I were both in the Sea Organization for over 25 years before leaving in 2005.

Like thousands of others, we had to deal with our families being torn apart due to the “church” disconnection policy.

About two years ago, certain events occurred that brought us to the point where we needed to speak out. The first was seeing several thousand non-Scientologists (Anonymous) publicly taking a stand against Scientology’s human rights violations. The second was that the Scientology Spokesman (Tommy Davis) went on CNN, claiming that they had absolutely no such practice as disconnection.

Amy and I knew what making a stand would mean in terms of time, money and exposure to the infamous Scientology harassment techniques. But we also knew that through 2 ½ decades of service, we were part of creating this monster and felt we had a responsibility to take action.

A school bully doesn’t give back your lunch money just because you stay silent or act nice. Likewise, this lying, criminal, bullying “church” wasn’t going to give people back their families and their basic human rights without a fight. So, we knew what we had to do.

This decision led to our contribution to the Saint Petersbug Times stories and Amy writing and publishing her book, SCIENTOLOGY – ABUSE AT THE TOP.

For the past two years, we have made ourselves available to a never-ending list of media, religious scholars and leaders, government officials, authors and concerned citizens. We are always willing to drop what we are doing for this cause and have traveled to various cities, states and even countries to help expose radical Scientology’s abuse of human rights.

This brings us to our latest adventure.

Earlier this week, Amy and I flew to Los Angeles for a quick stop-over so Amy could meet with some people investigating the “church”.

As usual, tax-free religious donations were used to pay a number of private investigators to follow us around. They tried to intimidate Amy by repeatedly asking her how it felt to be “paid to lie” – a question David Miscavige should be asking himself personally on an hourly basis.

The night before, after many hours of trailing by at least three cars and their ineffective intimidation attempts, it got pretty old so we called the police. The PI’s dispersed. Three police cars responded immediately and a police report was filed against Scientology. By the time we finished talking, three more people were interested in reading Amy’s book to find out what goes on behind Scientology’s facade.

The next morning, Amy and I went to the LAX airport to catch our flight home. We were in line to go through the security check point. There were about a dozen no-nonsense TSA personnel scanning and patting down passengers. Things were pretty boring (a bottle of water found in a back pack and a nail clipper in an old lady’s purse), but that was about to change…

Amy and I were almost next in line for the security check point when a middle-aged woman walked up to my wife and asked if she was Amy Scobee. Amy said, “Yes, and who are you?” She said “Who I am is not important. I was supposed to meet you and find out how much you’re getting paid.”

Knowing that criminals absolutely hate exposure, I went off.

At the top of my voice and pointing directly at the woman, I yelled,

“Hey, everybody! This lady is from the Scientology cult, sent here to harass us for exposing their acts against humanity.”

“This is how Scientology torments people in your community!”

“The cult leader, David Miscavige’s wife Shelly has not been publicly seen – dead or alive – in almost three years!”

With that, TSA security was on the woman, asking her why she was there and telling her it was forbidden for her to harass their passengers.

The lady lied and told them she was traveling. Bad move. She had no luggage and no travel papers. Last I saw, the TSA staff were escorting her to who knows where…

Amy and I were put through the check point where one of the main TSA officers was very interested to learn how radical Scientology and their terrorist arm (OSA) use paid and duped agents to torment whistle-blowers.

If the “church” wants to continue acting like the criminal organization that they are, any remaining public support they may have will most certainly be lost – if not their entire status as a “religion” and any legal and monetary benefits that religious recognition may provide them.

Flavio, A Stolen Son – by Renata Lugli

Blogger’s introductory note: The following is a mother’s account of the attempted destruction of her family. I cross flowed much of what Renata relates. It is very timely in that one year ago – almost to the day – on the eve of Christmas 2009 David Miscavige’s anti-Marty mission invaded the Lugli’s home attempting to recruit Claudio and Renata to team up to ambush their son Tiziano – and failing that attempting to get the parents to disconnect from their son. Almost a year later, their other son Flavio was sent into their home as a missionaire working for the same Miscavige mission, spying and attempting to get his parents to disown and disconnect from Tiziano. That they kept their equillibrium through all this doing everything in their power to keep the family together speaks volumes as to their character. Regardless of the outcome, one things is certain, they survived this ordeal with their integrity not only intact but strengthened.

I would like to tell my personal experience in Scientology from a mother’s viewpoint, which is my main beingness, regarding my two sons, Flavio and Tiziano. What I had to live through myself with regards to what has happened to them, was the main reason for our departure from the Church, besides all other facts that we included in our Resignation Letter -(https://markrathbun.wordpress.com/2010/12/08/claudio-and-renata-lugli-are-free/.)

Flavio and Tiziano were born in 1977 and ‘78, and my husband and I were both in the Sea Org at that time, we joined in ’74 and left in ’82. During that time one could still have kids in the Sea Org, and regardless of the amount of work that was absorbing our lives, I have always tried to give my sons all of my attention and communication, trying to give them, to the best of my abilities, an ethical education and a spiritual growth towards their self-determinism and mental sanity.

Flavio always demonstrated to be very loving and caring towards his father and I. As a child his extreme kindness and pureness of heart, coupled with a big urge in helping others was clearly visible. His decision to join the Sea Org was of no surprise to us, in fact we hoped for it at the time, knowing that it completely aligned with his urge toward helping others. We were joyful when we found out he had signed his one billion year contract, because we thought the Sea Org to be the most sane place to be on planet earth.

I was there at Flag in ’97 as I was about to start my Solo Nots Certainty as a public Scientologist, when Flavio came over to give me the news he had activated his SO contract. The way he said it left me in a state of disbelief, and that moment was terribly painful to the degree that still to day 13 years later I can vividly see that scene. Flavio looked at me condescendingly, his eyes were expressing complete resentment toward me, as if all of a sudden I became his biggest enemy. He was completely changed, the situation was incomprehensible and for me, a complete shock.

The last time we said bye to one another we were in complete harmony! What could have happened in these few hours?

I was trying to fill the vacuum thinking that his reaction was caused by an hypothetical wrong handling, maybe some incompetent gave him a PTS interview and indicated to him that I was his Suppressive terminal. Or he might have gotten the beginning of an indoctrination, from some high roller exec with his posh uniform, which told him Tone 40 to cut his umbilical cord to his family so that he could align with the standards of CMO FSO. Or they might have had him sign a pile of confidentiality agreements so that anything he will have said would have been a violation of highly confidential subjects. My mind was fishing for a rational reason, but to no avail.

I remained at Flag at the time, and it took me a whole year to finish the Solo Nots Certainty. It was a horrible year for me, with sleepless nights, an avalanche of wrong indications and wrong C/Ses. Flavio never called me throughout that year and in that entire time I only saw him for maybe 40 minutes, even though we were living only a few blocks from each other. I then decided to “end cycle” on this, telling myself that Flavio will eventually see the mistake he had made and then everything would come back to normal.

How wrong I was…!!!

I think I had committed a big mistake by not dealing with it more aggressively at the time, so that he would have eventually told me what really went down. But there is a reason for this, thanks to all of the repetitive errors of my Case programming, I was completely introverted, PTS, my anchor points were all squashed in and my beingness shrank. These were all errors that have been accumulated starting from ’87, real GAEs, perpetrated by alleged Class XIIs and incompetent C/Sing – which had nothing to do with me, as if he was C/Sing somebody else’s folder.

In 2005, after 18 years in borderline hell and almost as a miracle, I was able to handle this situation with my auditor Cristina, for whom I am still grateful to this day. I took back my once lost life, and at this point I was able to clearly see what situation had developed with Flavio.

Right after this de-PTSness, I tried talking to my son on three occasions, but it seemed impossible: he would get restimulated to the point of becoming ill, he would become so overwhelmed despite the fact that my approaches were really delicate on him.

Only now I am able to understand what really happened: Flavio had certainly received an heavy SRA from HCO CMO (Severe Reality Adjustment – a technique elaborated at a certain point in the SO, by which an individual gets overwhelmed by several people yelling at him, insulting him, etc. with the end result of having shoved in an idea to make him behave in a certain way) and this acted as a real IMPLANT on him.

Throughout his 13 years in the SO, the only relationship we had was “social”. He would call every once in a while and would be extremely brief. His communication was full of good roads fair weather, as if he was always handling an alleged PTS situation on our part, or there were PR phone calls where he would inform us about how everything was amazing at FLAG. These were a few minutes long, stolen time between a short meal, always with the prefix “I don’t have time right now”, “I have muster”, “I gotta do the roll call”, “I have to go handle…” – and every time I asked him anything, the most common answer was “I can’t tell you, it’s confidential”. Especially on this “I can’t tell you” part, LRH says something that is very frightening to me:

“The simplest and most common implant – and its lightest but not least deadly form – is the command to withhold. Implants could be said to be methods of preventing knowledge or communication.” HCOB 11 Apr 82 – Sec Checking Implants

But for us, the most painful thing, was not the very brief phone calls, but that tone of unexpressed resentment that you could sense every time he would speak to us. We understood that that trust, that love and appreciation that he had always treasured for us, had crumbled – and we had to learn how to live with it for 13 long years.

In an effort to alleviate this pain, we were hoping that with time Flavio was going to be able to realize what caused his departure from his own parents, but we were completely unaware on how the Sea Org had completely transformed since the time we had lived it (and on this part alone we could say so much…).

Many times Flavio got sick, one of which was really severe. His health was getting so precarious since he joined, all the time friends would come back from Flag telling us how Flavio was spending sleepless nights, especially during the infamous and unchecked fund raising for the Basics, and the never ending IAS regging. I don’t’ know if many of you know this, but every FLAG staff has a weekly regging quota that has to be met, no matter what, and until he or she reaches it, they cannot go to bed.

If we were to give you details, it would take a book to express what me and my husband went through in these years, but we are more and more convinced that in these 13 years, Flavio had received so much mental conditioning, and not only directed towards us, that we utterly believe that his mind had been stolen by his “church”, the same church that had STOLEN OUR SON.

The events surrounding Flavio that follow, cross with what was happening to his brother Tiziano.

Tiziano attested to Clear in 1990 at Flag. In 2001 he went back to the base for his OT Preps and they put him back on the CCRD to verify its validity. He re-attested in a new unit of time Clear (actually a state called The State Of Clear – CERTIFIED). In ’08 he went back at Flag to end cycle on his Preps and route onto his OT Levels, but he got hit with an R-Factor that he is not Clear – unfortunately this is pretty much in fashion these days. I’m not going to explain the details of this event, for he wrote a great account on all that happened on his post (https://markrathbun.wordpress.com/2010/01/21/tiziano-lugli-breaks-free/), but I’d like to add what me and Claudio had to go through for the next year and a half because of this.

We knew that what Tiziano was going thorough was extremely delicate, so about 2 or 3 times a day while at Flag, we would talk to him, and he would tell us what was happening. We were always confident that the truth would give good indicators, and that Tiziano would never oppose to the truth, no matter what that was. But as time passed, so was any progress on this cycle, until it just got stuck; even though Tiziano did more than could be expected, and we were witnesses of all this as it was occurring. Sec Checks were the only auditing action he was permitted to do, as we know being the number one auditing action ordered by C/Ses at Flag, and YES, Tiziano had to be REFORMED, he had to stop giving FSO penalty stats by giving Red Tags repeatedly at the examiner. Nothing came from Claudio writing a detailed KR to RTC Int in order to debug the situation. We were all beyond overwhelmed by now, especially since we knew that Tiziano did the impossible, not only financially, to try to get onto his OT Levels, and endured beyond any limit of toleration.

We could hear him distraught, as he was confessing to us that he saw his Bridge shutting in front of his eyes, for he would have never compromised his certainty on being Clear and he would have never been put on Dianetics.

After all this he decided to be done with these evaluations and handlings, and got the hell out of Flag with very bad indicators, telling everyone to go screw themselves, and once back in LA he requested his folders to be sent to Senior C/S Int.

In the meantime Tiziano and Jamie’s wedding date arrived, and we all decide to take a brake from all this and go celebrate this event in great harmony.

And here Flavio comes back into the scene in 2009.

After pulling many strings we were able to get him to participate to the wedding. As soon as he arrived, he urged us to go read the Freedom Mag, in answer to what was happening in Clearwater with what the SP Times had published. It was pretty logical for us to then go look at what the SP Times actually wrote to fully understand the situation. Once we looked at the content and watched every Video online, we told Flavio that if the data that is being exposed were true, we all would find ourselves in a huge mess!

Back at Flag Flavio reported on everything that is nowadays considered the biggest crime that a Scientologist could do: GO ON THE INTERNET.

Right after, Marion Pow and Mike Sutter, showed up in front of our store in Brescia ITALY, all the way from Los Angeles. These are two people that work directly for COB – their purpose was to try to have us – two sinners – redeem ourselves, by first of all expressing their disapproval for the fact that we had looked on the Internet and we got all of the “entheta”. They tried to obliterate the image of the “Number One SP Marty Rathbun” with a huge Dead Agent pack, since he was considered to be “the WHO” of the whole situation.

Our answer to this was that due to our current case condition and having achieved a state whereby NO ONE can tell us what to do or not to do, we didn’t need anyone’s approval regarding the decisions we take. We took the time to instead press on the fact that our sons, for one reason or another, have been completely messed up by the church. And knowing their authority we requested immediate actions: for Flavio to make sure his health condition would go back to at least normal, and that whatever the absurdity that went down with Tiziano was, would once and for all get handled.

The whole back and forth – merry go round – lasted till 4AM. And do you know with which sentence did Marion ended the conversation? The same one she used to begin: “but why did you guys go on the Internet?”

Meanwhile in LA, where Tiziano and Jamie live, the resignation letter of the renowned and Oscar winning director Paul Haggis hit the news. Tiziano wanted to look deeper into it, landed onto Marty’s Blog. The rest is pretty much known. Tiziano and Jamie got on a plane and go to Texas.

Marion Paow, Mike Sutter and this time along with a third guy, Hansuili Stahli, showed up at our door steps in Italy in the middle of the night. They immediately informed Claudio that Tiziano and Jamie were just with Marty in Texas, and that the situation got out of their control, that his folders where look at by Ray Mithoff, and that Tiziano was absolutely NOT CLEAR, but that without any doubt Marty told him he was.

Right after popping out Marty’s SP Declare, now 20 pages long, they started telling Claudio what an incredibly out ethics person our son was, and they wanted to show him Tiziano’s crimes contained in his Folders that they brought along.

This is classical OSA operation: DEFAMATION.

I was already in bed that night, so I didn’t have to receive that entheta impact, as my husband did through that nasty request. Claudio refused categorically to look into Tiziano’s folders, telling them that he didn’t have any interest in knowing any content of it for it is CONFIDENTIAL, and that it would have certainly not changed the opinion we had of our son, because for us he’s always been an open book.

When Claudio told me all about the meeting, I expressed the desire to not see them for the entire time they spent in Italy – from the 23^rd to the 31^st of December.

I found their approach to be beyond anti-spiritual, I did not want to have anything to do with such people that didn’t even take any responsibility for what FSO had caused Tiziano, letting him leave completely BIs. But here they stood, with their weapons ready to shoot at him and us as well if we didn’t reform. They asked Claudio what kind of a behavior would he be having with Tiziano, in the event that he wouldn’t repent and reform by doing the A to E steps – hence doing a subtle introduction to the subject of disconnection. Knowing exactly where they were going to go with this, and before they asked for a formal disconnection agreement, he told them that we would have NEVER and NEVER will disconnect from our son.

They left soon after, but that was only the beginning. As a matter of fact, the subject of disconnection, was once again brought up by his brother Flavio, an act that was gruesome to say the least.

We got a phone call from Flavio inviting us to have a video conference via Skype, a planned meeting a day in advance. We talked to him that night on the phone for about an hour and on Skype the next day for two and a half hours, and the theme of the conversation was only one: convincing us to disconnect from Tiziano, a discussion he had been taking from several angles. It was pretty hard for us watching this family massacre as it was about to unfold: using our son Flavio to convince us to shoot at his brother Tiziano. Claudio and I found each other in an atmosphere that resembled a gangster movie more then an ecclesiastical scenario, with no respect whatsoever to unbreakable family ties.

Flavio was reading us aloud exerts form the HCOB PTS and Disconnection, the same one that the so called liar Tommy Davis was claiming didn’t exist in front of millions of viewers on CNN. Our efforts in trying to explain that LRH cancelled it long ago were in vain. As soon as the intimidation tactic failed to get anywhere with us, including telling us the consequences we would be facing in the event we would not disconnect with Tiziano, plan B from OSA came into play: MORE DEFAMATION.

I can only tell you that as soon as Flavio started shooting defamation bullets against his brother, I started screaming like a mad woman until I literally lost my voice. I screamed about FSO, having ruined both of my children, I screamed at him for making me pass 13 years of pain and sorrow as I was noticing his progressive derangement since he joined the SO, I screamed about FSO asking me to destroy my own family with disconnection. At this point Flavio got silent, and changed tactic, going full on good roads and fair weather. I mean they all got silent, was OSA thinking we were the dumbest, stupidest folks on earth? They thought we didn’t know they were behind the computer directing every move Flavio was making? Who knows why the line would suddenly drop and be back only a few minutes later… They didn’t however make Flavio disconnect from us. I guess they thought it would be more detrimental to do so, as well as we had not been declared yet, they actually started having him act “really nice”.

Because we didn’t disconnect from Tiziano and we went on the Internet, OSA was monitoring us from 360 degrees. Here is the rundown:

– Sending over to our shop about a dozen OTVIIIs, and another dozen calling us over the phone.

– When we would cross the path with other Scientologists in town they would change their way as not to bump into us. (apparently the ones who were not briefed to do OSA’s bidding, were instructed to stay away from us so as not to become educated.)

– After 5 years of not hearing from my auditor at Flag, I all of a sudden get a phone call from her.

– An OSA bot named Gloria, that works for them as an auditor, came to my shop trying to handle me into going in session with her.

– Numerous times I’ve noticed being followed by PIs and others using Cell Phones to record my conversations.

– A dear friend of ours was barred from talking to us, because we were on OSA INT lines.

– Flavio was being used to monitor us: it was very evident, although he kept trying to be as normal as he could, and his communications was carefully planned, but you can’t fool a mother!

But now it all starts to get juicier! Flavio has recently come to Italy because his grandma (my mother) was dying and had expressed her desire to see him after so many years and to finally meet his wife.

Once in Italy we were noticing Flavio to be spying on us. He was looking at my cell phone, Claudio’s phone, the home phone, both of the house computers, and was asking his father if he was still going on the Internet. All of this thinking that we wouldn’t notice him doing it. He’s very naïve, at times I would get a call and he would try to check caller’s ID of people calling me, I really started to get upset at this point, not at him necessarily, but at those terminals that forced Flavio to do this kind of a job, completely in opposition to his beingness…and he obviously got caught doing it, which was another BIG mistake for OSA.

Besides what could have been the reasons they gave Flavio to coax him into becoming a rat, I was sure that he didn’t feel any good about doing what he was doing to his parents, hence his continual Missed Withholdy face.

At a certain point Flavio asked me some very personal question that denoted parts of my PC Folder were given to him, I realized the defamation tactic had been played on myself. That was IT! I was furious, because the evil that I had been perceiving, coupled with the clear vision of what grim last resource had been used by OSA, made me decide…It’s OVER! I’m gonna depart from all this evil.

So we decided to tell Flavio WHO his FRIENDS were.

We were completely done playing a game that lasted a whole year full of third party that had only as its purpose to destroy our family.

But by his many reactions: “I can’t be listening to this…” – “don’t tell me anything…” – “I’m not interested…”, it was evident that his thoughts were blocked.

His ability to decide and analyze was reduced to ZERO.

He had been programmed to such a degree that he would reject anything that would have not been aligned to that programming.

He left to Flag the next day.

Here ends my story of Flavio, a stolen son.

It does not end however, the pain and the rage of the betrayed trust that still lingers inside of us.

Below is an OSA Int Investigations Division program drafted by Fritz Kavenaar (Invest Officer) in 2006. The intent of the program is evident and in his own words it seeks to “muzzle” Tory Christman. I gave Tory the opportunity to review this before publication and to direct the deletion of material that clearly was taken from her pc folders and information that might violate the rights of privacy of her or others she knows. Wherever a deletion was made a notation is made. Tory has also inserted her own comments throughout the program in italics. OSA programs by tradition are so laden with denigrating reference I felt Tory should be given the opportunity to defend herself, and educate us where appropriate.

After the program you will find another write up by Tory that gives some background leading up to her speaking out about the church’s abuses. It gives further context to the church’s efforts to destroy Tory.

I sincerely apologize to Tory for helping to create the monster that attempted to make her life so miserable. My hat is off to her for – all on her lonesome – weathing the storm and continuing to communicate throughout, and continuing to do so to this day.

Information:

In July 2000 Tory Christman left the Church and dumped her husband of 26 years, to join the LTM in CW. While in Clearwater and being supported by Minton, she started picketing the Church. From there she got onto media lines and has given anti-Scientology lectures to the Skeptics. Tory has also been a conduit for disaffected ex-staff to get onto the Internet and leave Scientology. She has created a “third dynamic” of sorts, consisting of social contacts with ex-Scientologists friends and other DBs like Graham Berry, who she gets together at occasional parties held at her house. [Sentence deleted to protect privacy of target and third parties]

**Correction: I never “dumped” my husband. I left a Cult, he divorced me, and re-married, staying “in”.

When in July 2005 Harold Bezazian, Tory’s ex-husband, confronted Tory with all her lies about their divorce, she tried to deny it. However, she backed off from mentioning her husband again until recently in the Rolling Stone article. Despite the confrontation Tory had with Harold over the phone, she continues to leave messages on his voice mail wishing him happy birthday, merry Christmas, and other messages like that. She wants to keep a comm line with Harold, even though he told her to leave him alone because he got remarried.

**Note: The “lies” he told me are the same absolute lies OSA has pitched for 10 years about me. As I told him then, “my doors are open-I don’t know where you live, work, you won’t talk to me. I left a Cult. You left me. And you can tell OSA to Go to Hell”. That’s when, and only when, he told me he was married. And he changed his phone number—so my calling was in 2001 for a few years at most.

Having been married for 27 years, I find it interesting a “church” would promote this as something bad.

What Tory protects:

Tory protects her reputation very heavily and anything done or said that would damage her reputation drives her insane. Case in point when she read the comment about her in the recent Rolling Stone article where she is described as “wacko” she immediately posted to ARS to DA the statement. Many other times she has displayed her insanity about trying to DA bad things said about her. Her biggest button is the Religious Freedom Watch (RFW) pages about her. She screams on ARS that RFW is full of lies about her. During a picket in 2004, Tory was asked to give specifics, but she started screaming like a nut and blew from the comm cycle. Many times on ARS she threatened to sue RFW but she never did. She wants those webpages down badly because they ruin her reputation.

**Correction: I’ve many times thanked OSA for RFW, once I realized they are the best display of their “Fair Game” usage. They are masters of twisting reality. I’ve said a skillion times, please come over, you’ve never even heard my side of the story. Not *one* Scientologist, as a member of C of $, will talk to me. OSA’s interpretation of my “Screaming like a nut” is just that. In “Fair Game” is says: “You can lie, cheat, steal, destroy someone utterly” and that is all this is. Their feeble attempt to once again smear one of their X-members, in fact, someone they have in their “What is Scientology” book.

She protects her job. The current job is the most stable one she ever had since defecting. Since mid 2005 Tory has been working at Specialty Merchandise Corporation (SMC). Tory is a business coach and teaches people how to start home based businesses and she has her own extension, 5606.

Tory protects her comm lines to the media because these are the lines she uses to stir up entheta against the Church. Getting her properly DA’ed will make the media dump her as source of information about the Church.**Fact: Scientology has failed utterly at shutting me up, both with the media, and on the Net. Did I want to protect my job? Hell yes. Is there something wrong with that? Only they would see it as one more way to “Fair Game” someone.

Tory has a lot of attention about her health and being able to pay for her medical care. In 2004 she went through skin cancer surgery which she incurrent $1,500 not covered by her insurance. She is also concerned about her memory deteriorating at a rapid rate (she has severe memory loses, and according to her, it has been worsening since 2004. Tory believes she will die in a matter of a few years because of her memory failing very rapidly. She also thinks she will get Alzheimer’s disease because her mother had it and she died of it at the end of 2004.

**Correction: What a load of crap. Line one: Sure, I have attention on my health and health insurance, as do most responsible people. Line 2 is a) False: My insurance DID pay for it and b) Where DID you get this private information from,

Scientology? That violates the HIPPA laws. ALL of the rest of that paragraph is utterly OSA making that up. Sure, it is well known that I have had trouble with my short term memory, thanks to the “church” of $cientology insisting I get off of my much needed medication for Epilepsy, having many Grand Mal Seizures. Back in 1973 until my Mom insisted I get back on my medication, saving my life.

Totally made up re “Worsening from 2004”—I never said that.

I fearing I’ll die in a few years is actually funny. I don’t fear it, however, since my Dad died at 52—I have said many times I’m thankful each day to be alive.

My Mother did not die of Alzheimer’s disease. She died at 85 of other causes.

One more flat out lie.

***Second note: Also, this was written in 2006. In the 90’s I gained 100 pounds while on Scientology’s “OT 7”. I kept asking for help, got NONE. I finally quit OT 7, joined Weight Watchers, lost 60 pounds, and left C of $, forever.

Later, while working at SMC, I gained back a bunch, so yes, I probably was concerned about my health-although not as they describe, even then.

Only when I finally figured out what *I* needed to do, did I fully lose the entire 100 pounds. I reached my goal weight in June of 2010.

Tory has appeared on Channel 2 where she lied about several subjects. This is the direct result of the past few weeks counter-attack against Tory where her ex-husband had DA’ed her lies, she being under attack on ARS where she is getting expressed as a stripper, [portion blocked out as taken from target’s pc folders]… and taking anti-depressants.

**My correction: I’ve ~never~ taken anti-depressants, but a
Dr. had given me something for possibly having ADD (which it turned out I didn’t have)—so I never took. Someone (not sure who—one of four possible people) came to one of my parties, went into my medicine cabinet, wrote down the name of that one medicine, and they began saying “How could Magoo be happy if she’s on anti-depressants?” Again, a total lie, as well as disgusting that they’d send someone into my medicine cabinet, and then make up this false story about me, again.

To dispense with a source of entheta and black PR so that Scientology can get on with its expansion unimpeded.

The Back Story on Tory:

I worked with OSA as a volunteer, (not staff) on and off for 20 years,
mostly in the PR area. Why they care so much about me is due to my auditor, and then friend, Bill Yaud asked me to help him “Handle the critics” on the Net, in the ’90’s. He asked me to “Open up anonymous
accounts”. I asked why? He said he wouldn’t tell me as “Then
they’ll get you in deposition and keep you there, and you don’t want that, do you Tory?” Of course I said “no”…so I continued,
basically blindly believing him.

Some people may think: Why didn’t you go talk to…. Well, we had
to sign an agreement to NEVER TELL ANY EXECUTIVES of C of $, any AUDITORS, ANY ETHICS OFFICERS, any Family, any friends
literally–we could not tell a soul–0r we had to pay $100,000 “. I
remember looking at Bill, and saying: “This looks like the old Guardian’s office junk”. He: “Tory: LOOK AT ME. *I* (he, Bill Yaude) would never do anything illegal”. I bought it.

As it got more and more mafia-like …I decided *I* needed to go onto the Net and LOOK. The Day I did (and ARS was the only Newsgroup then)—OSA had spammed it with tons of baking recipes. In between many lines, were “I didn’t say that! Scientology is changing my words” by various critics.Shocked, I realized this train was WAY off the tracks. I did NOT get
into Scientology to stop free speech! That day I called Bill to tell him “I can’t do this anymore, I have to get back to work”. I was literally scared to death–realizing this was much worse than I thought, and no doubt
was run out of DM’s office.

From there, Bill said, “Fine—just meet us at this apt. tonight, as we’ll need a de-brief. I thought that was fine, and showed up on time. The apt. was dark, and filled with me (all OT’s). Gavino (who ran the Top Secret OSA Int Internet operation) came barging in, slamming the door open, yelling “I TOLD YOU SO! I TOLD YOU ABOUT HER!!!”

It was about a 1 hour gang bang spiritual rape—with they screaming “What are you going to say in Session about this?” (I actually had zero plans to say anything to anyone, but as you can see, thanks to THEIR OWN ACTIONS, that has changed, dramatically.)

I finally ran out, crying, and Bill knew at that moment he’d screwed up. It took about 6 more months for me to FULLY wake up, but I really left the “church” of $cientology, that night

The night I fully woke up, that was IT. I had been on OT 7 for 7
years with it not working, we being guinea pigs for the Golden Age of Crap–and having to pay for it, too.So during that time, I had spent 10 years reading self-improvement books, art, music, science, etc. I didn’t realize
it then, but I think I was actually stripping off lies and sort of
fixing myself, so when I woke up….that was IT.

You may know all of the above, or not plan to say anything. However, IF you plan to, I wanted you to hear what actually happened, vs. the many variations of what has been said occurred. I never posted on the Net for OSA.

Once I ended the top secret OSA Int Mafia—soon after I went onto ARS, and made 4,000 posts in 4 weeks! I had decided the Critics were like the old cowboys in the Wild West. They could talk, say what they wanted, do what they wanted, and I wanted to find out what they knew that I didn’t. So I went onto ARS …making super nutty posts, having no clue I’d meet Andreas who would help me, and from that, I’d wake up FULLY and leave, forever.

What did he do that was SO dramatic? Well, had I not been in the Top Secret Mafia, it wouldn’t have been SO much.We were constantly lying about our names, even on the phone. Here was Andreas with his full name, address and phone number listed. That did more for me, and what he said, than anything. He said: “I believe in truth.I believe in looking at both sides
I believe in having the courage to say what I think. I don’t think
Scientologists are bad, they’re just miss informed. Best wishes,
Andreas Heldal-lund”

I sat in my dining room after reading that, and cried for 4 hours, as that WAS who I was when I joined Scientology, in 1969, age 22– 30 years prior. Then, at 53 (july 2000) couldn’t look at both sides, I couldn’t
tell the truth. I still had courage. I left a few days after that first communication, forever.

As you know, I’ve been speaking out, ever since. They’ve been lying about me, doing Fair Game actions on me, since the day they flew Yaude to Clearwater where I was, to “handle me”, the second day after I arrived there. He told me: “What has happened to you, case wise, is THE WORST
THING THAT COULD EVER HAPPEN TO ANYONE ON THE PLANET”. “We are going to fix it all at no cost”.

I said: “If you paid me 1 million dollars I wouldn’t pick up your cans, Bill”.
That night OSA began “anonymously” lying about me, running “Don’t trust Tory” on ARS.

I cannot thank ALL the people who have helped me over the years,
enough. Many will never know how much they have helped me.
What you are doing now, Marty, and all your posters here, is
terrific. I thank you ALL!

A message to everyone who is under the radar

Right about now I am in transit from TEXAS, where I spent an amazing week with Marty and Mosey. My wife just finished OTV and started her steps to audit herself on Solo NOTs. Marty and myself (like many others) have been philosophizing for a while on what needs to be done, our objectives and the general situation with Scientology, LRH, DM, OSA, people half-IN and half-OUT, all legal actions, investigations, and everything that goes with it.

Now, thanks to Marty, Scientology-Cult, L’Inipendologo in Italy, BBC, ABC, SP Times, Anonymous, the various Doubt formulas of OT8s, ex SOs, the stories of each and every one of us…etc, the TRUTH is OUT. It is obvious, undisputable, and its availability to obnosis is of such a degree that even a blind man can see it.

When a person gets to this point he asks himself…”and now? What do I do?”

Questions, computations, postulates, intentions, counter-intentions, games conditions, get out, stay hidden, under the radar, PTSness, SP declared, my parents, my friends, my children, my social life, my clients, my job, my life!!!

Where do we begin, but mostly, where do we end?

The PHASES are multiple. But what is the correct thing to do? How do you judge which action is the right one. Well, I had to go through it myself, and was privileged enough to observe dozens upon dozens of people going through all of these phases. And beside the fact that everyone of these phases can have its righteous reasons, let’s have a look at what the most common phase I’ve observed out there to be:

– I can’t take it anymore. Too many doubts, too much suppression, too much regging, too expensive, too much out-tech.

– An email comes in, and I…click! I start to look, I find websites, I can’t believe what I’m looking at!!! But I keep on looking, and I really believe everything now, because it makes all the sense in the world. Through the mountains of “data” I continue reading.

– I feel a bit missed withholdy, but oddly enough the more I read the more I free myself of masses I didn’t even know I had. The key-out is tremendous.

– Wow, now I’m fully briefed on the REAL history of Scientology.

– Thanks to all the testimonies, all of my doubts about the subject are completely GONE.

– Huge blow-downs, I’m pissed now – I’m about to break something – wait, what do I do now? Oh, but I’m not alone, there’s many others, damn, it’s thousands of us!!! Wait, let me think about what would be the best thing to do now. Let’s blog a little bit and get a closer feel for it.

– Gee…how can I do it? My parents, relatives, and son are in. I’m gonna lose everyone if I say anything. Maybe I’m just gonna try a little natter, here and there, and see if anyone hooks to it. Worse comes to worst, I’ll just get a fat KR, which at this time could be pretty useful as toilet paper, if it wasn’t for the shit already contained in it.

– But my job is based a lot on Scientologists’ connections, if I come out in the open, I’m in deep shit.

– Wait, wait, let me keep going like this a little bit longer. Let me comment on various blogs, trying to natter a little more and see who else thinks the same way I do. Holy shit! It’s thousands upon thousands by now…In every continent, the same stories.

– I stall for a bit. A few weeks pass, and maybe months. I slowly detach myself a little bit more from the scene. I don’t go to the Org for a while, I just hope they don’t come busting my balls for some fucking reg cycles.

– Wait a minute, this is outrageous! Somebody will do something to change all this. Maybe from the inside, we’ll get a rebellion, or the CIA, or the FBI, the Police or the Government…Mike or Marty…or God, maybe RON comes back (a little too late) and along with Jesus, Buddha and Harry Potter they will defeat DM.

– Time flies…and nothing changes. But the situation in the Orgs worsens, and people that just left the INT base tell even more atrocious stories. But I’m personally much better now. I’m kinda of an outsider now. I mean, I’m still fucking pissed, I threw away $15,000 last year for the IAS and $5,000 for the Idle Orgs. I was OTIII and it now seems that I wasn’t even Clear. I don’t know a damn thing about my case anymore. But what do you want me to do? I certainly am not gonna make it my life’s mission. I threw away so much time already. Anyway, let me just comment on the blog, maybe I’ll catch an old buddy of mine that came out, so we can have a good ole laugh…and life goes on.

Let me tell you, this is the most common phase I’ve encountered of those “under the radar”. And excuse me if I don’t go much more around this wheel, but this is exactly the product of Reverse-Scientology and the propaganda of fear that has been created during decades of illegal mafia-like tactics.

AND THIS HAS GOT TO END!

If after a lifetime of raising your kids, you’d realize that your son was on heroin, and has been on it for years, what would you do? Would you act like nothing’s happening for a bit? Would you google heroin for a bit, and study its effects and testimony of people that were doing it for months and months, while he is slowly shooting his arms and brain out? Then maybe would you talk to his friends, but a little afraid to be found out? Found out that you have already found out? And maybe one day, because you’re afraid you’d lose your son, he asks you for some money…and you give them to him???

Or you knock it off, and say “THAT’S IT”!

The ones inside, the ones that are auditing on VII with arbitraries that have infiltrated every action of the bridge, who are redoing everything for the second or third time, who are donating to the biggest crime organization on earth – the IAS, or throwing money away for those empty cathedrals with state of the art screens that are playing everyday to no audience, aka, Idle Orgs. These, we won’t call them PTS, these have already swapped terminals and are almost in the valence of the SP.

But YOU…you who knows. You that you know what you know…do you still wanna be PTS to this entire situation?

There are the ones that wake up slowly, on a gradient scale, and those that wake up with a cold shower. Some only wake up, and then, they don’t grow up. Now it’s time to really wake up, grow up and grow a few!

To me, not coming out and not doing something to stop all of this mess, overtly and NOT covertly, equals only:

– tacitly accepting things for what they are (PTS)

– let the Org’s Kool-Aid drinkers know that everything is ok the way it is, and that we shouldn’t complain, leave or change anything, because sooner or later OT24 will be released, and at that time it will have all been worth it (PTS)

– being stuck on a maybe, a GPM that eats you alive everyday (PTS)

– deciding that we are not powerful enough and we are not numerous enough…so it is better to wait, think it through, wait, not do, withhold, be afraid that they might find you, find out which way you’re standing, hide your emails, change your passwords, don’t be too loud, hide a little bit, and hide a little bit more (PTS)

– deciding, day after day, that you are the Effect and not at Cause (PTS)

Everyone of us is in transit, from one point to another. Everyone is different and unique from everyone else…and still different from ourselves in each and every part of our track. The beingnesses that we assume vary, sometimes month by month, or year by year, at times they are static for decades and at times they change daily. The changes that occur are directly proportional to our awareness levels, our knowledge and our willingness to be and do.

The Out-Tech and suppression in the Miscavige corporation is pretty much known to everyone of us by now. But it is way more evident the minute you exteriorize from this entire incident. And the freedom that you obtain the moment you exteriorize completely from the bullshit within this “church”, is a new kind of freedom that deserves definition.

LRH in one of my favorite HCOBs from OTVIII states that:

“All power comes from the ability to occupy a point.”

“The effort to weaken a thetan is to make him relinquish his point in space.

“Covertly or overtly a thetan seeks to assert his position in space. If he cannot do so overtly he does so covertly.

“Implants and traps were done mainly to keep thetans out of an area. The thetan, resenting and resisting mocks up the place anyway and so implants himself.”

What does this have to do with anything that I was talking about? I could ask myself “do I wanna go on like this and Implant my self any further?”

Well I don’t, and I didn’t. I’m out of the Implants, the GPMs and all this confusion, and fellaz, wow, what kind of air you do breath out here.

Stop diminishing your power. Your integrity is the most important thing you do have. So don’t play with these values, don’t wait to have something different in the physical universe, don’t wait till something happens so that you could do what you wanted to do….to then maybe be ”free”. This would be Have-Do and Be, the cycle completely in reverse.

BE: Be free! With integrity and dignity. Without fear of losing anyone, because the only thing you could lose is your own integrity, and that’s it!

DO: This universe surrenders only to a spirit of play. So PLAY!!! There’s sooooo many things that can be done and are being done….just do it and get OUT of the PTSness.

HAVE: Get your freedom and life back!
