More Truth Revealed

Follow up to last post, Truth Revealed about OT VIII.

Lest there be any future mistaking as to who personally laid in the implant, please review the words below. They were penned by David Miscavige for his closing speech on “Org Night” during the year 2000 Maiden Voyage aboard the Freewinds.

Because, I have recently been reviewing many of your folders, particularly those who enrolled on New OT VII, or New OT VII Expanded, soon after the release of the Golden Age of Tech for OT’s.

And what was evident is that many are nearing full completion of that level.

In fact, I would use the word “imminent.”

So, we have also brought to the Freewinds the Golden Age of Tech materials for New OT VIII.

As part of that, I have also recently done a review of a great many folders for those who did New OT VIII, before New OT VII Expanded.

For the good news, there is no long training course awaiting you!

Your skills, as currently being demonstrated on Solo NOTs, will definitely take you through this level, AND EVERY SINGLE SUBSEQUENT OT LEVEL.

In fact, it’s all good news.

C/Ses at Flag have the precise instructions on what step to C/S as you complete New OT VII.

In some instances, it is best to do L’s at that point. Ultimately, every pre-OT should do the L’s but, LRH gave specific instructions on “case phenomena”, or I should say, lack of specific “case phenomena”, where the pre-OT should do the L’s immediately after VII and before VIII.

But again, that’s an individual matter based on specific case assessment.

Otherwise it is right onto and through New OT VIII and then up to IX and X.

For those who previously audited the level, you will of course do an expanded OT VIII.

And in that instance, the service is free of donation.

What you will find when you arrive is an issue describing any false data some of you may have been given.

As a whole, with some distance and perspective, it is pure squirrel cage. 

This particular passage should be passed around to those who have had troubles in the past fifteen years on the Solo NOTs and OT VIII levels:

This particular passage should be passed around to those OT VIIIs who completed OT VIII prior to June 2000:

For those who previously audited the level, you will of course do an expanded OT VIII. And in that instance, the service is free of donation. What you will find when you arrive is an issue describing any false data some of you may have been given.

Steer clear of “Expanded OT VIII” lest you want to be a genie (wounded or not)  stuffed back into a bottle.

And the last sentence of that passage ought to be passed around to anybody wishing to achieve any level within Scientology Inc anytime in the future:

Be wary, very wary, of David Miscavige issues replacing L Ron Hubbard issues under his trademark squirrel guise of “describing false data.”   Including, but not limited to the above, the sixteen page OT VII expanded, an entire stage full of “golden age of tech”, “golden age of knowledge”, etc…

Having done VIII in ’89 and the original VIII Expanded in ’90 and all the L’s, I would like to state the following:

1. There was no false data given out on OT VIII in ’89 unless it was the entire bulletin itself, which I doubt because it aligned with data in LRH books. I experienced their campaign of recalling VIIIs back to the ship to handle ‘false data’ and do an ‘expanded’ VIII in ’90.  Their ‘false data fix’ did not consist of revealing that the bulletin contained any false data whatsoever. In fact, there was no false data revealed or found. The only false data was that there was false data. Maybe it was a ruse, used to condition people to the real false data that lay ahead in the future with the introduction of the ‘Golden Age of Tech’.

2. ‘Redoing’ OT VIII as an ‘expanded’ level after auditing more on OT VII is completely and foolishly squirrel and harmful and the only purpose would seem to be to confuse one and drive them down the tone scale into more solidity. I cannot see in any way that doing more VII would produce anything that would cause one to have to do more VIII.

3. DM’s ‘advice’ to do the L’s after VII and before VIII is suppressive.  OT VIII completely changes forever the way one would look at and audit one’s case in any auditing in the future. OT VIII reveals that one has been following a trick pathway inside the labyrinth. 

Why send someone back into the extremely complex labyrinth of the L’s, particularly L-10, without this vital awareness, and especially after so much work on VII and when they are so close to possessing a vital piece of the treasure map that will help guide them through?

4. I’d like to know what kind of bullshit magic DM thinks he possesses that would give him the skill or awareness to be able to tell from looking at someone’s folder that they were imminently ready to complete the level. Haitian Voo-Doo or does he do a Turkish Whirling Dirvish dance that puts him in a semi-godlike trance of omnipotence? And why does he say, “I-I-I”? “I looked at the folders”, “I determined” this and that and the other thing? I, I, I. Why is he not allowing his senior technically qualified people to make the adjudications and indications?

5. OT VIII Expanded was and is not free of donation. You will unknowingly donate your previous gains, you sense of self, your space, your knowingness, your confidence and your self-determinism. The only way you should ever do VIII again is if you completely did not understand it at all when you studied it and really did not audit it at all and got no EP on the process at any time and didn’t even attest to it. Really, what’s the likelihood of that? Maybe one in a gazillion-trillion-brillian-frillion? Those are some odds.

6. I read DM’s illegal and out-tech written interpretations of OTVII which was mandatory for all VIIs and VIIIs in ’95 or ’96. They were filled with eval, inval and blatant interpretations of HCOBs.  Isn’t that nice. What part of Qual training did I fall asleep on where it talked about the way to fix a product is to write up a bunch of interpretive authoritative documents filled with opinions to shotgun everyone with?

7. I can essentially agree with Marty’s technical stance that if one is trained right and does the levels of the bridge thoroughly and has one’s Act One in then they very well might not need OT VIII, but I would add one corollary to that, that one must be armed with the knowledge contained in History of Man along the way and at some point have achieved the benefit of the philosophical practices contained therein. And I’m not talking about those goofy clam incidents or jack-in-the-box stuff, but very down to earth spiritual truths and nuances thereof.

8. DM himself can only be handled from inside, and handled the same way he gained power, first by beating the living hell out of him, threatening him with blackmail and then using lies to do him in. A time comes when one must turn and punch Satan in the head and use his blackness against him to do good and besides, it would be so much fun.

The successful formula for this would seem to lie in the mere corporate legalities of the matter, used with the right amount of courage.

Lynne Hoverson and Bert Schippers speak out in Seattle!

 I have had the privilege of meeting these fine folks.   Their write up may be the most damning indictment to date on Scientology Inc’s disregard and disdain for those who empower it.  Btw, Seattle is rocking.

Bert Schippers and Lynne Hoverson hereby announce that we no longer support, and are no longer part of, the squirrel organization called the Church of Scientology.

So much has been written by others before us, that expressed exactly what we wanted to say when we could not. For that we thank you all very much! The histories posted helped us see that we were not alone, that the outpoints we saw weren’t just “something wrong with us.”

Who we are: Lynne joined Scientology in 1973, training on NED and then the Levels, and reaching OT III in 1986, the year Bert started in Scientology. We married in 1989 and started our own company. Since then Lynne has reached OT V and three L’s and Bert made it to OT IV.

Over the years we put off getting new cars and beautiful houses, instead donating our way to the levels of Patron Meritorious in the IAS, Double Cornerstone in the Super Power Project and Triple Humanitarian for the Seattle Ideal Org. We helped CCHR Seattle survive for decades, we worked as Volunteer Ministers and in various other church activities. We were told repeatedly that we were wonderful “Opinion Leaders,” especially during efforts to get more donations from us, but we were shunned instantly when we refused to toe the line!

You may wonder why we donated so much, may even think we were crazy to do so. Did we do it for the “statuses?” Absolutely not! Our purpose in donating was to HELP. We really thought that we were helping others, helping those less fortunate, helping protect freedoms. It made all the personal sacrifices less significant. Imagine the betrayal we felt after coming to see the fraud and human rights abuses so rampant in virtually everything involving the church!

What did we experience that brought us to the point of making this open declaration?

  • Finding out that Lynne’s son in the Sea Org would no longer be allowed to have children, and having to turn a blind eye to the fact that this was a direct violation of what LRH said about balancing the dynamics.
  • Being made to feel guilty about doing anything in life but what was “approved” by the church.
  • Forced disconnection from Lynne’s non-Scientologist daughter in 2001 until we saw the truth in 2009.
  • Inquisition-like ethics cycles at Flag with two MAAs reading the meter, baiting and badgering and then threatening expulsion for being upset with an MAA.
  • Completely botched Clear cycle for Lynne’s daughter, costing tens of thousands of dollars and many years of upset, with literally zero actual care, handling, or results from CC, Flag and AOLA.
  • The death of a dedicated staff member resulting in her being denigrated for abandoning her post and “pulling it in.” This person was one of the most helpful, gracious people who’d ever been on staff and everyone in the area loved her. The attitude that when something bad happens to you, it means you are a bad person, was drilled in over many years.
  • Experiencing the difference in Auditing before and after the “golden age of tech” and the redefinition of an F/N; generally the difference between “win” and “no-win.” (Though as LRH says, some wins came through from the actual tech, despite the alterations.)
  • SP declares on Lynne’s son and his wife for blowing the SO despite going back and completing a proper routing out cycle, leading to years of disconnection and more tens of thousands in dollars of expense in “handling.”
  • Non-stop “Crush Regging” for Money.
  • Lynne being treated by the Flag Rep as if she were a piece of property to be commandeered and shipped to Flag like freight.
  • An OT Eligibility cycle from HELL for Bert.
  • The Basics insanity – financial irregularities with the way our accounts were handled in order to “sell” Basics (we ended up with 10 sets in our basement.)
  • After donating $300,000 to the Seattle Ideal Org, we were treated like enemies because we are friends with Tony & Marie-Joe Dephillips – resulting in being denied entrance to the Grand Opening. (See attachment of communication exchange that took place)
  • In spite of the promise, in writing, that anyone who donated $5000 or more to the Seattle Ideal Org would have their names on a memorial plaque, our names were deliberately omitted! (See photo attachment.)
  • Having all our Scientologist employees quit, including Lynne’s son and his wife, and Scientologist customers stop doing business with our company, because we would not fire Lynne’s daughter for speaking out.
  • Being essentially “disconnected from” by Lynne’s son and his wife because we woke up.

 

Each of the above bulleted items has a long story full of church blunders and other wonders. Feel free to email us for details.

What finally woke us up? The SP Times article was too much to confront at first for Lynne. So she checked out what the church had to say instead. When Tommy Davis asserted that he had affidavits from 22 people that one person had beaten 50 people over a period of years, she immediately thought of the HCOPL “Knowledge Reports” where it says a group that allows such behavior is an out-ethics group. With a gasp she realized that Int Management was an out-ethics group!

Looking up more of Tommy Davis, she heard him lie about there being no such thing as disconnection – after all the disconnection we had gone through! That was like having a bomb dropped on her. Communicating all this to Bert, it turned out that he had already seen enough. After this we were willing to look at anything and evaluate it without the bias that had been inculcated in us over the years. Yes we saw plenty of falsehoods in the anti-church data, but we were finally exercising our right to look for ourselves and to determine for ourselves what was true. And too much of it was true, to be ignored any longer.

Why are we speaking up? Our purpose to help others is very much alive, in spite of these experiences. We still donate to charities that help orphans, the elderly and cats.

We want others in the local field to know that there is someone here to talk to. If anyone under the radar contacts us we will keep their info private until they wish to disclose it.

Now having had a review in the independent field, and an ethics program (NOT the MAA-punishment-to-protect-the-church-from-you-evil-beings type of action, but instead a true program that helps one regain certainty of self-worth,) Lynne wants to assure others that their eternity and their bridge progress are not in jeopardy if they leave the church.

We both feel that no one can force another to stand up and be counted because everybody has their own situation, just as we did. But we hope that our announcement will help inspire others to work through those situations so that they too can stand up.

Most Sea Org members and Staff members are incredible people, who also really want to help. We feel sorry for those people. They are sacrificing so much in their own lives in order to live up to the expectations of upper mis-management. There is so much that needs to be corrected, most of which we have experienced or observed for ourselves: controlled communication, enforced disconnection, forced abortions, unlawful imprisonment, human-trafficking, and demanding huge sums of money from parishioners under false pretexts. These and all other abuses perpetrated by the church must CEASE!

It is interesting that we’re now a family in a group of people with many different viewpoints on the tech and life, and we tolerate them all, just as we should have all along, instead of insisting that only one viewpoint was allowed. Lynne loved her training and wouldn’t trade the gains of going clear for the world. Bert, on the other hand, had some very discouraging experiences, and does not want to have anything further to do with organized religion. Among the large group of those who’ve left the church in the Seattle area, we know people with an even wider range of viewpoints than this, yet now we all get along.

Oh, and in case anyone from the church is reading this, WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK!

Prevention of Bridge Progress in Corporate Scientology

The upshot of “Golden Age of Tech”, “Golden Age of Tech for OTs”, and what has become the standard operating procedure OT VII every six month “fixation on pt life rudiments intensives” is the prevention of auditing and progress up the Bridge toward spiritual freedom.  These practices have implanted a super fixidity in auditors upon pt behaviors of pre Clears and pre OTs.  And it gives pre Clears and pre OTs  ARC breaks and Present Time Problems they did not have before engaging in such expensive “auditing.” It is a violation of the CONTRACT entered into by every pre Clear and every pre OT with the church at the start of his or her journey.  The EP of Miscavige-tech super fixation on rudiments – whether it be actual rudiments (at the start of each session) or effective rudiments (repeated and endless sec checking) is OUT RUDIMENTS.  Where did I get such a blasphemous idea?  From auditing dozens of refugee Corporate Scientology folk in the manner L. Ron Hubbard suggested they be audited and from L. Ron Hubbard himself stating it as a TECHNICAL FACT:

Well, the first obersvation we can make, that rudiments go out to the degree that auditing doesn’t get done.  That’s a direct ratio. Rudiments go out to the degree that auditing does not get done.

Now, this poses you a problem. If you are using no session to put rudiments in, if you use no time at all to put rudiments in, of course, you’re apparently around the bend as far as handling the pc, because the rudiments are out. You see, here’s a puzzle that we face  at once.  If you’re not spending any time putting the rudiments in, of course, the rudiments are going to go out. But the more time you spend putting the rudiments in, the more rudiments you’ve got to put in. Have you got that?

So, somewhere here there’s an optimum amount of rudiments putting-in and it’s not very much. It’s on the order of five minutes. You know, five minutes and the rudiments are in; the pc will bear with that,  and not much more.  And when it goes to a half an hour, his present time problem is actually, basically, the fundamental problem of getting auditing.

Now, he’ll say the present time problem is something else, is something else, is something else, is something else; but his basic problem: is he going to get any auditing?  And after he’s had half to three-quarters of the session thrown away on a bunch of things that he didn’t care about, why, of course now, he has a new present time problem called “getting auditing.”  In the next session, he comes in with this new present time problem: “Am I ever going to get audited?” because he doesn’t consider any of these other things auditing…

The endless handling of rudiments is a limiting factor in auditing, because it produces eventually the ARC break of obtaining no auditing. (emphasis supplied)  So, the decision is, audit.  You’ll have less ARC breaks the more auditing you do. And of course, if your auditing is flawless from a standpoint of Model Session, and if some of these other things I’m bringing up are also present smoothly in the session, your days of having ARC breaky pcs ends as soon as you recognize that point — that he is there to be audited, and his basic contract is the basic contract to be audited.  And the more you audit him on the things his attention is fixedly on — I mean fixedly on, on the long track basis, you see – and the more attention you give to that and the more you handle that, the more he knows he’s being audited, the less ARC breaks you’re going to get.

It’s amazing what a pc will put up with to get auditing, quite amazing what they wil put up with to get auditing. Why make them put up with anything, but at the same time go on and audit.  So the best, hottest message I can give you on that exact subject is audit! Don’t fool with it; audit! See?

AN OPEN LETTER TO DAVID MISCAVIGE FROM HIS ERSTWHILE CUSTOM TAILOR, ITALIAN SCIENTOLOGY PIONEER AND OT VIII CLAUDIO LUGLI

Dear Dave,

It has been a while since we last talked and saw each other, so I decided I’d write you a few lines.

I really appreciate how you’ve been thinking about me lately. As soon as my son Flavio reported that I was reading the Blogs on the Internet, you sent directly from the US the dearest Marion Pow and Mike Sutter. Could you please say HI to them at your earliest convenience, because I really miss them. 

Despite the jet lag, having flown cross-world from Los Angeles to Brescia ITALY, I have to say, they have completed a remarkable job in clearing every doubt I might have had in relationship to your strategies on Idle Orgs, the IAS and the new Statuses (btw, these were genius) all the way to the Basics and the imminent release of Super Power. On top of all that they told me all about what you were doing so that Scientology would achieve its goals.

By the way, I was really sorry to hear from Marion that you have to wear reading glasses since you had to personally verify every point on the New Basics! Wow, but what can I say, work is work, right?

Anyway, I saw that they were strictly following a very exact program and they have completely handled ANY doubt I might have had!

On another note, I’d like to bring to your attention their complete lack of obnosis. You might have noticed that by now, since me and Renata publicly declared our Independency soon after their departure.

Oh, now that I brought her up, Renata sends a huge hug to Shelly! And by the way, Marion was so kind to let us know, even though we didn’t mention her name, that she is doing well and that she’s in a special program (must be such a deep and exciting program, because we haven’t seen her or talked to her since 2004), and please give her a big hug from me as well.

Going back to our discussion on obnosis, I think next time it would be a little cheaper for you to remove the recorded microchips installed in Marion’s and Mike’s pituitary glands. You could just send them over to me in Brescia as I have the last generation – state of the art – implant reader where I can read any kind of robotic programming. But I guess you shall decide what do to with those two your own way, maybe the physical impact is more real to you.

Besides all this, I am writing to you because there is something that Marion and Mike were not able to clarify to my satisfaction. Do you remember in 2006, it was in April at Author Services in LA when we last met? Thanks to your once assistant Emily Jones – a good looking girl, maybe too good looking to be your assistant…and by the way, whatever happened to her? I noticed Lou giving her the stink eye back then…anyway, she had been able to steal about an hour from your busy schedule so that I could finally get some good measurements for your clothes. It is with great pleasure that I recall that meeting. We were all waiting for your arrival, and Georgiana Sommerville (your steward) with Emily yelling, “he’s coming, he’s coming”, what a great experience, everyone standing at attention, really dedicated, maybe a little scared, but what do you want, it is all part of ethics presence.

But you know me, I’m kind of an easy going guy, and our discussions have always been pretty open and down to business. I always told you what I wanted to say, as I’m doing right now, and I always admired your being available. Anyhow, if you remember, I told you that we had just been at Flag and that thanks to a couple of amazing sessions I had with Cristina, I achieved an incredible stability of my Case, to the point where I felt that it was about time to go OT.

Not like I hadn’t done it all along…please! You know I finished OT8 in May of 1989, and thank God, you found out that some things weren’t just right, and as you know, I had redone the “new” NOTs rundowns. I had amazing wins with the original ones – sure, it was pretty easy when you’re audited by Class XII Malin Gelfin, and maybe because she didn’t call the right F/Ns and wasn’t waiting for the three sweeps of the needle, I really didn’t notice she was doing it wrong…I think I’m losing track over here, anyway, after having redone the NOTs Rd, thank God you saw that the blind was leading the blind!!! Imagine if he was deaf too…

And so you really saved us with your Golden Age of Tech. Those seven years of Solo NOTs, done after OT8, were incredible!!! In every way…especially those FPRDs, ten intensives at a time during my six months check, I’ll never forget them!

Lets get back on track here and back to our meeting where I told you that I left it all behind, and I was able to find myself as an OT again, and I was ready! I reminded you that I got into Scientology in 1974 with the sole purpose of going OT. I didn’t have any problems I had to resolve in my life…mine was a spiritual research that had been going on for several lifetimes, and I am as aware of it now as I was aware of it back then.

I told you that I understood LRH’s necessity of lowering the gradient, and that I had been asking my self for a long time…and I was now asking you: “Where are these OT Levels ???”

I did OT8 in 1989. Tiziano was only 11…he married twice since then and has a 12 year old daughter that goes to middle school; Flavio was just a kid as well, he was 12. He joined the Sea Org 13 years ago, and recently you sent him as an OSA spy against his own parents! My wife explained it to you in details with her post called “Flavio, a stolen son”!

Gee, I never lose this bad habit of continually changing the subject! What I meant to tell you is that 22 years had passed!!! You remember when I asked you directly “Where are these OT Levels ???” and thank God you had an answer for me!

And I still remember it now as if it was yesterday, with your penetrating look…your light blue eyes, your solid voice, firmly stating “Claudio, let me tell you, I discovered what had been stopping Scientology for the last 50 years!!!” I was already contemplating…but then you went ahead and told me:

Claudio, do you know SUPERMAN???? That’s it, that is what we’ll become!!!!“.

Oh my God…COB himself told me we will become like SUPERMAN, I couldn’t contain myself, I said goodbye to you and left with Renata. Maybe I even forgot to get your measurements, but who needs them now that we’re all gonna be like SUPERMAN?

I flew back to Brescia and told everyone the amazing story. Flavio was put on a special project right after…a pilot program, he was telling us about incredible wins, but he couldn’t say anything! It was SUPER SECRET and EXTRA CONFIDENTIAL. And then and there I thought, “here we are!!!”

And soon after the HUGE EVENT arrives, June 2007 and you announce to the whole world:

The real reason that had been stopping Scientology for the last 50 years is:

THE TRANSCRIBERS !!!

Dave, I gotta tell you. Got a little disappointed right there.

But I’m still dying for OTIX and OTX, and I’m not giving up. I bought 2 great copper poles, and every morning I hook them up and try to discharge, still not having any benefits, but I look up, way up high in the sky, beyond the clouds where I’ll soon be with my big S on my chest.

With this letter we are publicly announcing our decision to leave the current Church of Scientology since we believe it doesn’t represent the spiritual freedom that was once expressed by L. Ron Hubbard, instead it perpetuates different purposes and it has introduced substantial alterations in the use of Admin, Ethics and Tech. 

These are suppressions that have caused and are continuing to cause sufferings in PCs, Pre OTs, students and staff members at any level. 

So, it is our duty to inform. 

We are addressing this writing to the entire Scientological field: the top of the management, our friends and parents, and the Scientologists that will have the courage to look, evaluate and act accordingly to what is right for themselves and their lives. Only the truth will set us free, and the price of freedom “constant alertness and constant willingness to fight back”. This is our story. 

In 1975 my wife and I started a long adventure in Scientology. We finally found the road that could give us answers to the true spiritual research, those which hide beneath the apparent materialistic world. We suddenly fell in love with this great being that Ron is. His wisdom hit our hearts in a very simple manner. His lessons contained the answers that we were looking for a long time, lifetime after lifetime. Although the essence of these teachings were of great philosophical depth, they were easily applicable to the day to day life enhancing every aspect of it. 

So it was that we joined the very first group of Italian Scientologists most of whom had been longtime friends of ours already, and partners of many adventures in that town called Brescia. We love reminiscing on the spirit of that group, the contagion of enthusiasm, the unrestrainable desire of spreading the news of Dianetics and Scientology to the world. The Italian Institution of Applied Technologies in Via Cavallotti in Milano had a very high tone level because this group was made for the most part of creative artists and rebels of the status quo – we could say not much inclined to be regimented. The aesthetic waves were easy to perceive, and that attracted people that would then begin their walk towards higher awareness. 

The study and application of Scientology allowed us to better ourselves to create around us a calm and safe atmosphere where we could raise our children; our work, our music and our creations have benefited from it, and we have tried to set an example. 

We have done a lot of courses. We have audited a lot of people, we are both NED auditors. We have given many lectures. We started a choir for the Church of the Three Lakes ( Brescia Org). My wife Marisa finished OT 5 and was in the middle of it. 

We will always be grateful to L. Ron Hubbard for allowing his technology to be at our disposal. His legacy has permeated our existence and will continue to be a guide for our future. For years we’ve trusted the management of the Church and followed its orders believing that they originated from carefully studied strategies and evaluations made by competent and responsible executives. However, we’ve noted a slow but constant departure from the original purposes as laid down by source:

Over time the religious and spiritual aspect became of lesser importance as the offer of help transformed in continual and forceful demands for money. 

The drive to gain religious recognition in Italy has been used and is still today used to gain more materialistic and fiscal benefits instead of just a genuine desire of being legitimate and to gain a sort of a hidden impunity for the exploitations of the work force in various Scientology organizations.

With the advent of the Golden Age of Tech (in fact a subtle invalidation of LRH and of all of those people that had successfully applied Scientology since then) we have witnessed prolonged training, having to redo the same courses 3 times, hence causing a departure from becoming a trained auditor and be able to continue on your own steps on the bridge. 

These are just a few examples of the numerous destructive alterations introduced by the current Church. If you’d like a more in-depth analysis of the current situations of the Church of Scientology we would like you to check in full the letter from Garcia (a real Scientologist!) and we invite you to do your own personal research. We believe that Scientologists can distinguish facts from entheta, and do not fall into those A=A=A kinds of generalizations from the reactive back. 

We’ve ended our extensive research on truth. It has been pretty painful and at times it was very hard to confront. We had to learn how to separate the wheat from the chaff, find out what was true and what was false. We’d read and spoke to people that we’d known for a long time and had a lot of esteem for, people that left the Church and had done great things for the Church.

We will always be grateful to these people for the precious guidance they offered. 

Thank you Francesco, Marty, Mike, Tiziano, Claudio, Renata, etc. We have to give a big acknowledgement to the entire staff of the Independologo. Everyone who writes on these blogs, your job in informing and connecting the dots is really precious and has been the determining factor for the entire movement of Independent Scientologists. We’ve discovered the abuses, the threats, the forced abortions, the beatings, the instigations of violence, the exasperate control, the perversions, the alterations of policy…all situations that were apparently unbelievable – but unfortunately true. 

Too many people have spoken…and now there is no more doubts on the fact that THE CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY IS DEAD.

And so we decided to leave the current Church of Scientology because we no more see ourselves in it. We are and always will be Scientologists. We will never compromise on this. And we will no longer spinelessly accept other-determined “truths” in the name of spiritual freedom.

Freedom from Overwhelm

 

We have come to discover the crux of Miscavige’s Black Dianetics implant technique. My own awakening experience has been shared in greater or lesser degree by the many O.T.s who have made their ways to the Shack (the original and Casablanca). In my view, here is how Miscavige reverses Scientology to create the product of unquestioningly loyal sheep at the upper reaches of the Bridge.

First, as most of you know the ability gained from OT III is Freedom from Overwhelm.

How, then, are so many OT 3s, OT 4s, OT 5s, OT 7s, and OT 8s (not to mention Clears and Releases) finding themselves in the unmistakable condition of overwhelm?

If you look at what staff and public get a steady diet of from the very top in Radical Scientology the one overriding common denominator is overwhelm.

Overwhelming, implant-like stage setting events – six times a year.

Overwhelming diet of entheta about the state of the planet, and its populations’ insistence on destroying man’s only road to total freedom.

Overwhelming invalidation and evaluation as to individual behavior.

Overwhelming interiorization by way of unrelenting sec checking and evil purpose pulling.

Overwhelming demands for money.

Overwhelming demands for thinking in a prescribed way, and overwhelming punishments for thinking rational (redefined as ‘critical) thoughts.

Overwhelming auditing sessions by auditors taught an overwhelming beingness, and operating on the equation auditor plus meter can and should overwhelm pc or pre-OT.

Overwhelming family, peer and business associate pressure to toe the white line.

Overwhelming harassment for those who stand up and refuse to be overwhelmed.

If there is anything to be learned from the public disclosures of myself, Mike, Steve, Dan, Amy, Jeff, Marc, Claire, Jackson, Sarge, Karen, et al (ad infinitum) about the day to day conduct of David Miscavige, the common denominator of it all could be summed up in this description: “continuous intent to overwhelm.”

I think we can accurately state his overwhelmingly primary goal as “to overwhelm.”

Multiple reports have now been received and cross verified that Radical Scientology is routinely programming OT VIIs and OT VIIIs for objectives and even the Purif. A more suppressive, and reverse, general tech mis-programming is hard to conceive of.

LRH says this about the effect of incorrect programming in HCOB 13 June 70 I, C/S Series 3: Session Priorities, Repair Programs and Their Priority:

When incorrect programming occurs, then any auditing on it can add up to more overwhelm, which adds up to more errors.

There is that word again, overwhelm.

On top of all this is the overwhelming effort from staff and even public Scientologists to make the only acceptable beingness of a Scientologist to be overwhelming.

That this is the end result is not surprising given the following from LRH from HCOB 28 January 1966, Search And Discovery Data: How a Suppressive Becomes One

Search and Discovery is being made, and auditors are finding on one person and another, “myself.” Well, just among us girls, of course, you are going to find it. One of the best reasons you are going to find it is that it is part of the R6 bank. The other reason you are going to find it is that after a person is totally overwhelmed by a suppressive he assumes the valence of the suppressive. And a person you would find that on has actually been pretty suppressive…

That is the mechanism of suppression – overwhelming a person. Oddly enough you will only find it on persons who are suppressive and of course you’ve walked into the real mechanism of how does a suppressive become a suppressive. He becomes a suppressive by taking over the valence of a suppressive.

Is there any wonder why the overwhelming public impression created by Radical Scientology in the market place of public opinion is “Scientologists are overwhelming”?

Freedom from overwhelm is attainable and rehabilitatable.

The first step, as in remedying any disability, is recognizing that the condition exists.

It is quite amazing to watch how rapidly people blossom once this Black Dianetics process is remedied.

Labyrinth or Liberty?

My name is Joanna Cook, I am 25 years old. I grew up in Scientology, claimed it as my own when I was 16, joined the Sea Org shortly thereafter, found out I was unqualified, and worked from 16-24 trying to find my identity now that I could not be in the Sea Org. I volunteered with The Way To Happiness, the Volunteer Ministers, Criminon, a few OT Committees (OTCs), and finally worked for three years as a volunteer for Latin America or LATAM (defined as Mexico, Central America and South America) side-by-side with my mom, Mary Jo Leavitt [the LATAM IC], as her co-Stats IC, PR IC and, for one and a half years as the Compliance Reports IC, whereupon we (and the 9 OTCs across LATAM) worked in tandem to achieve the first – and as I understand it, only – “continent” in the world to complete the entire program! Because we didn’t make the OTCs fit the program, but rather validated what they were already doing right that fulfilled the purpose of the program, we obtained awesome, magical expansion and joy across the entire zone. It was the most beautiful experience I had ever had; I loved every person I worked with, and this ideal world promised in events seemed actually possible. But right at that high point, everything changed, and I went from being the most gung-ho person I knew (and one of the most gung-ho public as recognized by a huge stack of commendations) to a public utterly disaffected with Management.

So what the heck happened? Apparently, the OSA line to others is that my mom suddenly sprung a weird something-something and turned into a Suppressive Person (an “SP”, in the same class as Hitler) and corrupted me, too, which is so ridiculous that I was grateful for the people that disconnected from us, because they proved to have never been friends in the first place. Never mind that the Cont. Justice Chief told me my mother was not declared when I asked about it, yet I’ve been rumor-declared for failing to disconnect from my mom on a rumor. (That’s another story for another time.)

Actually, I had been disaffected momentarily here and there since 16, with my experiences in the EPF and various inconsistencies (between what things should have been and what they actually were) during my volunteering experiences. But every time I either wrote it up or brushed it off and assigned myself conditions, tried to figure out what I was failing to take responsibility for, etc. I thought maybe they were isolated incidences. I was also off for a year after some bad auditing, Clear-not-Clear, etc. But I “got over” all that.

In a nutshell, the straw that broke the camel’s back was my volunteer work with LATAM, because it proved these were not isolated incidences; I discovered that the people I was working with and loved got crushed because they refused to fundraise and simply wanted to disseminate, and this happened across an entire continent causing our zone to go from Power to Non-Existence in the space of a few months. After two years of trying to fix it internally, it just got worse. I was completely devastated that no one in Management actually gave a hoot about the people; they only wanted the money and the buildings. A series of situations (all covered in the reports of Mary Jo Leavitt) brought me to the conclusion that this was not the organization I signed up for, and I quit.

It was painful, because it momentarily divorced me from a huge part of my identity and for a while I wasn’t sure how to exist without it, and yet it was totally awesome, because I was finally free from a very suppressive situation.

After my mom submitted her Knowledge Report online, the DSA that “visited” her showed us a reference that stated if anyone attacked Management, they were attackers of Scientology, since Scientology and Management were the same thing. Well, in that case, the same is true on the flip side – anything Management does that draws ill will or bad repute to itself also brings ill will and bad repute to Scientology. Yet when we bring these points up, we’re spreading enemy line.

And that’s one of the issues Management/Scientology is attacked for, publicly – inconsistency. They preach universal human rights and yet their staff doesn’t get to eat or sleep until they make their quota? They are the leaders in knowledge about the human spirit but they can’t make up their mind as to what the state of Clear is or not? How come people are broke or desperate or in any way imperfect if they have all the tools to solve every problem known to mankind?

The cruel part is that Scientology, as the organization stands now, is like living in a snow globe world. It’s supposed to be perfect, but it isn’t, and the world outside is supposed to be within our reach but it isn’t.

The “ideal scene” is always beyond reach, belonging to someone outside ourselves, and nothing we can do allows us to grasp it, even for a moment. We capture fragments, promises, of it, like snowflakes that melt in our hand.

The Church has these snow globe events that promise a utopian world if only everyone had Scientology, yet we have to give up our right to our own life in order to “Clear The Planet”. Has anyone ever given a concise and definite definition to what that means? I’ve had staff intimate it means we cross the threshold of theta versus entheta on a planet-wide scale, so that it means people’s entheta gets converted Poof! with a wave of awesome theta overtaking everything. And this is achieved solely through the IAS and library campaigns (not the actual Scientology services, but promises of future services) carried on the backs of broke parishioners. So basically, it means that Clearing the Planet is making sure everyone has an abundance of theta except us, yes? Wait. Huh?

Yet we must continue forward, because the fate of the entire sector of the universe rests on each one of our shoulders. If we fail now, we’ve doomed the entire race of humans, and all thetans everywhere (even though we don’t exist in space or time) now and forever, to the worst kind of misery imaginable. Our children will grow up in a cruel, bitter world devoid of any succor, so instead they should join the Sea Org and given to a life of “service”. But it’s okay, because they’re salvaging the universe.

And yet we can’t progress on the Bridge; instead of the glorious golden contraption leading us out of darkness to the rich and bountiful place of Total Freedom, we have a strange tangle of wooden planks and rope that becomes a labyrinth halfway across the chasm with a recurring return to this place called Clear. If we manage to escape out of the labyrinth, we’re struck by lightning before we can take the next step across, and if we survive that, we discover the world at the end is another snow globe – a place that is promised, supposed to be perfect, yet just out of our reach – that will only happen if the ones who finally escaped the labyrinth can convince everyone else to cross the chasm.

And no matter how much we take a sledge hammer to the glass of our snow globe, bang our heads against it, consult auditors and ethics officers and even chaplains to understand why the glass won’t crack, it’s indestructible. That world that is supposed to be ours can never be ours, and it’s all our own individual fault we can’t attain it, and because of our individual failure, we’ve screwed it up for everyone else. It’s premeditated, and designed to drive people insane. And yet it’s called Scientology.

People are in quite a conundrum. Here they are, in the middle of a chasm, and the world they’re trying to leave behind was awful – it had fears, insecurities, needless doubts and pain and hopelessness, and yet the price to attain the perfect world free of all that is creating a constant state of those things. Then, they’ve got their whole family or their children or someone they love entangled in this mess and they can’t move back without them, yet they can’t move forward, and they’re stuck in this labyrinth that is slowly eating them alive or sapping them of sanity, and the fact that they feel anything negative at all is entirely their fault, or the fault of strange beings or past incidences or otherworldly phenomena that can only be solved by moving forward.

Yet anytime they think it might be possible to actually move forward, there’s punishment in the shadows of their hope, and after a while they instinctively will hold themselves back from hoping, or from trying, and that again is cause for punishment.

In essence, the game where everyone wins is now the hell where everyone loses. Even the snow globe ideal orgs, in their perfect buildings with the perfect renovations, are built on musical chairs (swiping staff from other places), extortion, in locations that are unwise, or for orgs that were financially struggling to begin with, or based in countries under tyranny… they are supposed to be perfect, but something about them just isn’t. And people who are aware, who are supposed to be the public we seek, will know it, and instinctively they’ll stay away. Meanwhile, the org itself will be destroyed because the multiple policies protecting it have been utterly violated, and its destruction will be the fault of the public and the staff who were supposed to make it go right.

This organization that calls itself Scientology has made a premeditated effort to lock each dynamic into Scientology, at the exclusion of any other entity. For instance, the 8th dynamic is apparently only understood when you have a total grasp of the 7th, which you can’t fully understand until you’ve reached the top of the Bridge. The 6th dynamic (which is constantly at war with us) can only be conquered through Scientology. The 5th can only be salvaged from nuclear war if we Clear the Planet. We’re supposed to Clear the Planet even though “Wogs” can’t or won’t read (like they used to, they need video explanations now or they won’t get it), can’t understand basic ideas without studying 18 volumes and numerous lectures, are drug addicts, 1.1, and generally not to be trusted. Seriously, they are rather pitiful creatures when compared to us Homo Novises. They have case that sprouts off, they compare Scientology to all these other awful and weird practices, and psychiatrists everywhere have convinced them they need psychiatric drugs when all they need is Dianetics. (Plus O/Ws, Sec-Checking, donations, attendance at events, Evil purpose checks, oh we’re not supposed to mention that; Dianetics solves everything, per our patter when we do the stress tests.) And groups! My gosh, imagine trying to find a decent group outside of Scientology. What with all the people below 2.0 and faulty/inefficient technology, and ignorance on how to run a business or get along with others… so it’s better finding work and friends amongst people who understand, and can do proper admin scales, conditions, etc. Then there’s the family, which of course can only be whole and happy if Scientology is being applied. We have marriage counseling, life repair for the wayward kiddies, ethics officers standing by, and staff positions available so no one has to go to college to get a worthwhile job. Not that anyone would want to waste time with college anyway. Any friends, relatives, etc. not Scientologists are advised to become Scientologists as soon as possible. And as for the first dynamic, well, that’s not important in the scheme of things, is it? Necessity level demands we do what is the greatest good for the greatest number of dynamics, and only by consistently acting along those lines and acting as a 3.5+ on the Tone Scale can one ever have any real happiness at all.

Naturally, the greatest good for the greatest number of dynamics means what is best for the largest number of nameless faces that will benefit by our campaigns to Clear the Planet. Savings, what’s that? What’s the point in holding out for a rainy day when the fate of the world is in our hands right now? My Golly, don’t you know we’re already too late? The Big Man has his finger on the Big Red Button in this very instant, and the psyches are all but ready to take over government and all the schools, and only the IAS and the library campaign can save the day. You don’t see the connection, you say? Off with your head! I mean, over to Ethics for you.

So one day you’ve had enough, and decide you want to walk away, but you can’t. You have no choice. Exactly, it’s called Blackmail. If you leave, you lose your family, your work, your group, your only chance at salvation, your reputation, you’ve probably already lost your house, but worst of all, you lose your identity. This is who you are, now, and it’s everything you are, so it has to be okay. Things will work out. Ron promised it would in his When You Need Reassurance. So if we just hold out a little longer…

And one by one the things that were important, that made everything worthwhile, fade away, and we free-fall in our chasm, trapped in a fractured snow globe world that’s left us so we can’t reach at all; there’s nothing left to reach for. It’s the ultimate betrayal in the name of help, the one thing this wasn’t supposed to be, not this time. Some people could shatter upon this realization, and close themselves up into a tiny little box way deep inside themselves, and pretend that just because they’re still breathing it means they’re still alive; or they can go into a fit of rage; or they figure they can commit suicide; or they can walk away. Sometimes we go through shades of all these stages.

But the amazing thing is that there is a beautiful world out here waiting for us, and it isn’t separated by titanium bulletproof glass. Identities that are our own, dreams, goals, friendship, family, joy, teammanship, help, exquisite moments, are all possible and graspable and they can be yours. No scarcity. No strings attached.

It’s an interesting journey reclaiming life after it’s been molded into a shadow of what life can be, and after the shackles of what can or should exist are broken and cast aside. There’s a whole world full of awesome and friendly people, of fascinating philosophies and ideas, of life and nature experiences to be had, welcoming you with open arms — yet these things were only supposed to exist in the confines of Scientology… it has to be experienced to be believed.

For me, it makes the painful parts worth it, because at least – at last – the pain becomes transient, and the lying doesn’t have to be a necessary part of living, and prosperity, joy, unfettered existence, becomes real.

I can keep what for me is good about the philosophy, and use it as I want to, and when I want to, and my life is finally mine to live.

I want others to enjoy the gains I’ve had, and I can finally say that without the little voice in the back of my head saying, “Gains, sure, but would I want anyone to have the experience that I’ve had? No!” Being half-in and half-out is awful; I lived that for 18 months. True, I had less to lose than many still “in”: I never accepted the derogatory term “wog” and had lots of friends and family not in Scientology; my family all called it quits individually; I had no boyfriend, children, relatives in the S.O.; my job was secure; and even though things were hard for a while and there were growing pains after leaving, I would do it all again. All the painful experiences over the past year, summed up, still doesn’t come close to one week of being in that organization, not able to communicate openly, fruitlessly trying to fix things, ramming against that snow globe glass, trying to understand what was wrong with me that I couldn’t grasp. That was true pain.

I want all my friends, and my comrades, to be free of that. You deserve a beautiful, rich, full life. I hope you can hold it in your hands, and know that everyone you love can hold it, too.

Perversion of the Tech of Ethics

Check out the latest from the Freewinds.  The greed of Miscavige has become so inculcated that the OT VIII delivery org is now promoting Ethics as the cousin of the subject of Finance.  The “executives” of the FSSO are charging people to learn to apply Ethics “including what your beingness as an Ethics Officer should be.” 

Some time ago  Dan Koon (Joe Howard) wrote about a major date coincidence for the death throes of the church of Scientology setting in.  He wrote of Miscavige’s mission to create the “ideal Sea Org member” in every one (feel free to post the link, I am sure it is on Scientology-cult.com). That beingness is devoid of compassion, emotion (outside the anger band), spontaneity, creativity, and really life.  I think his Art Series 8 (model) was agent Smith from The Matrix. Now, you can pay 1,500 dollars to learn it as a public.  And directly from the C0mmanding Officer of the organization that was created to finally and permanently free people of such enforced, robotic valences.  

The church of Scientology is dead.

In its place lies an implant factory. 

Ten Gross Technical Errors from the Golden Age of Tech

 

The FNing Chair

Since I announced my return to counseling I have mostly been working with clients who left Flag that have been messed up by extreme and malicious tech delivery from the current Church of Scientology. The odd title for this blog is from something a European client audited by a Golden Age Flag trained auditor told me*. A lot has been documented about FNs on your site and others; but this story beats them all. My poor client had to switch chairs to get an “FN!” True. As a joke we talked about having one chair for processing, one for assessments¸ one for FNs, and one special golden leather chair for the elusive Floating TA. How sad and abusive can the tech get? *Used by permission.

I wanted to share some of the main errors I have come across in the hopes that it will help those put through similar ordeals to gain understanding and perhaps get some relief:

  1. Thought stopping and filtering what one says due to fear of punishment from session data. Not being able to talk freely, cutting their own communication to the auditor which obliterates the basic reason auditing works.
  2. Similar to number one, but in some ways worse; collusion between pc and auditor to not say things or write things down in session for fear of reprisal from CS, leadership, or ethics.
  3. Meter abuse; FNs and Floating TAs not being called. Ignoring, refuting, and invalidating the pc by making the meter senior to their information.
  4. Heavy Overruns. Hand in glove with this, re-running the lower levels again on advanced cases for no reason other than greed.
  5. Political and financial reasons to invalidate the state of clear. No real or true understanding of the state.
  6. False responsibility run on cases; a pendulum swing away from identifying the source of a problem as advanced course material causing extreme confusion resulting in nearly impossible messes to repair.
  7. Sexual discrimination resulting in behavior modification rather than case gain.
  8. No or faulty meter training for auditors.
  9. Selling unnecessary rundowns that are not client centered with expectations and promises that have nothing to do with the intent of the rundown.
  10. Rote and executive programming that is not fashioned to the person’s needs nor addressed to their life; not using a complete and holistic approach for dynamic problems essential to the person, their family, business and goals. (Then auditing over it for no gains.) One obvious example is auditing over crippling debt.

The worst of these practices is number one on the list. Thought stopping is a key to cult-type control. Thought stopping occurs when a cult member thinks a critical or contrary thought about the leader or the group. Then feels guilty and stops it. He then looks inwardly to see what it was he has done wrong (i.e. for an overt) to cause the bad thought. The bad thought is replaced by a fancied sin or overt that could have caused the impurity. After the overt is spotted the person then replaces it with a pure thought and a recommitment to purity and loyalty to the leader or group. Thought stopping allows the group to exert control and undue influence when the person isn’t in organization environment. An example is thinking about checking the internet because a co-worker mentioned that there was an article in the paper about Scientology. It is natural and healthy to be curious. But the person stops the thought, feels guilt for having it because it is against the rules, then looks inwardly to see why he would even think that way. A false overt is found to replace the natural desire to know. Thought stopping is a continual source of introversion and charge as truth is incorrectly assigned. Critical thinking is fundamental to learning and mental health. Once critical thinking is driven out of a being you then have a robotic true believer; disastrous results can follow like Jonestown, the Applewhite led suicides, and the Tokyo bombings led by Asahara*. It leads to personality splitting and a dissociation of the mind which can cause severe psychological and spiritual damage. Scientology is by definition knowing how to know; creating a mind controlled environment is antipathetic to the subject itself. *See Robert J. The fact that thought stopping has permeated into sessions demonstrates the insidious and treacherous environment brought about by the current leadership of Scientology. I have had to literally say to my clients who were hesitant, “Go ahead; tell me what’s on your mind, it’s OK to tell me what you are really thinking…” They had been accustomed to replacing their true feeling and thoughts with acceptable communications, cutting their own comm thus creating charge session after session.

The relief that occurs by getting sessions in a safe space is threefold; one the gain in saying what they need or want to say, two the relief in knowing there is no threatening reprisal, and lastly, knowing that what we are doing is for them and no one else. Eventually we just get down to business and it is up to me to get results, but at first just the joy of being able to freely say what they want gets tremendous gain in its own right. Safety is essential to gains; thought stopping makes it nearly impossible for wins to occur.

The collusion between auditor and pc to withhold from the CS and not write things down in the worksheets is of great concern to me and is poisonous on many different levels. The reason for this is that the environment is dangerous for the pc and the auditor. It is normal for both pc and auditor to not want each other to get into trouble, so collusion and complicity occurs. There is an item on the Green Form repair list; “Engram matching present time dangers.” This question applies to the current C of Scn auditing environment. It is so unsafe for auditors and pcs alike that they withhold and/or lie to the CS. This environment is so treacherous that it actually can create engrams of a sort. Both auditors and pcs I have worked with were heavily over-restimulated from the environment alone (akin to war veterans with post traumatic stress syndrome; nightmares, flashback-type key ins etc). I am not just talking about those on sea org who were forced to work in toxins or were in the RPF; I’m talking about paying pcs who are getting auditing and the auditors trying to help them. For those on advanced courses it is of particular concern because these engrams can go undetected unless it is understood that the environmental stress in itself can cause them.

A lot has been said on this site and others about FNs and overruns, points 3 through 5. When I started auditing again I didn’t have a meter. The results were still excellent. (A friend of mine gave me one eventually because a meter is a useful diagnostic tool, but it only comprises 1/4th of end phenomena.) In the definition of auditing there is no mention of an E-meter. When LRH used to pull a distressed crew member into his Apollo office to audit them he hardly ever used a meter! The folder would come down the next morning into the auditor admin room with a red card clipped to the folder summary with his notes on the session. No meter!

This is an important point. He was there for the person, comforting them, listening and observing them; then he would ask a few questions and listen and send them on their way, happy. Are the auditors trained this way today? Are they trained to comfort, care and make people happy? Or is it something else?

I was trained on the meter by an old timer from LRH’s academy at Washington, DC. He trained us to asses a list without a meter and then tell him what was the person’s item was. After the non-metered assessment the item was verified on the meter. If our original non-metered assessment was wrong, we had to do TRs, obnosis drills, and work on up until we could get the item without a meter. He learned this from LRH. That’s the way it was done, that was the Golden Age of Tech*. *By the way what happened to word Standard?

Point #6 is important because of the question of responsibility and ownership. It gets overlooked due to the proliferation of overrun and the rerunning grade chart actions for profit. There is an inherent liability in claiming the source of behavior is from an engram or from an outside source, it can leave one’s own responsibility out of the frame. Internalized environmental sources like an engram can lead one to continue to look to an outside cause for one’s ills rather than pointing the finger at yourself and your own actions. When an outside source is the cause of something, then it is. When it’s not it’s not, it is as simple as that.

You can see the resultant irresponsible blame in today’s Scn leadership who has not embraced the true meaning of responsibility. Training and proper auditing can nurture responsibility in a case and overcome the human tendency to avoid responsibility in any given situation. There are different flows in anything that occurs in life. Cross influences do exist and victimization does occur with or without complicity. Due to executive CSing and meddling in the tech of Scientology there has been a pendulum swing making the pc responsible for most everything that occurs to him. This has cases traumatized. Advanced cases run en masse causes severe problems and takes precise and exacting repair to unfold the ball of wax that this new misapplication has caused. Volatile questions that ask for sources of evil on a case like the False Purpose Rundown can have disastrous results if the true genus of the evil is not found. Overrunning and meter abuse only serves to compound this error and runs evil into the case. This has caused nervous breakdowns, illness, and reportedly fatalities. The Scientlogy public does not hear about these cold hard facts.

Auditing and programming a case based on sexual bias and for political reasons is one of the worst kinds of discrimination and alteration of the intent to help that there is. It leads to behavior modification and “white knuckling” the evaluated problem instead of handling what is needed. It is an easy way out to not handle a person and shows the futility and insecurity tech personnel have in helping people who outwardly appear to be different. All cases are the same.

It is easy to say that all behavior is due to evilness and overts. But it is not the truth. Undermining the intent of good hearted auditors to help is the lack of love present in the C of Scn and its leadership. It runs across the boards but is missing completely and replaced with cruelty in terms of sexual and other bias. That bias and sexual slurs from leadership filters down into the way CSs look at a case and what auditors are ordered to run. The person is made to feel different, an outcast and is often CSed that way. The person’s mind is not paralled, but the CS runs what he or she thinks is wrong with the person. One case I CSed recently was simply just thrown out of his org due to sexual discrimination. To say that only certain people can receive help is malicious, in a non-church environment it is against federal law.

The mixing of church politics along with the leaders bullying tech personnel with SP declares and threats of expulsion have made it possible for the tech to be perverted. Senior tech personnel have been forced to give in and forego what they know is correct for cases as laid out when LRH was alive. Advanced cases are told they are not clear and have to redo the grade chart for impure motives. In all the years I worked under LRH he only cancelled a few clear certifications. But, it was evident in the person’s life and post. There was drunkenness, lewdness and criminal behavior in public, not only org rule violations. The action of pulling clear and OT certs was not done whimsically nor for political/organizational purposes, but for the person’s betterment. LRH usually followed up afterwards with a personal program to help the person get back on his feet. That is a far cry from what happens today. One case had clear and OT certs cancelled because the executive wanted to discredit her and break up a marriage. The person had a strong voice against injustice in the organization so was shut up and devaluated. Other cases that were clear were told they had to redo levels for no other reason than Flag needed money.

The understanding of Clear and what it is has been lost in the Golden Age of Tech. This example should demonstrate what real understanding of what the state is; a messenger was getting the run around on her Dianetic Clear attest. She insisted she was clear, but couldn’t prove it with a specific cognition from a session in this or a previous life. But she knew she was a Clear. She was on watch and was upset. LRH asked her what was wrong, so she told him about the clear check. He told her that she was Clear, her perception was far above that of a Clear…….. It was evident by demonstration to LRH so he sent down instructions in her folder and the attest went through.

On the other hand when the Dianetic Clear bulletins first came out there was a pendulum swing towards solving troublesome cases by saying that the problem was that clear went unacknowledged. A lot of people ended up at Flag with bypassed cases without the awareness or responsibility level of a Clear. That is a degradation of the state and invalidation as well. It serves as an injustice to the person because they are robbed of the rewards of the levels and their attainments. When someone is a Clear it is demonstrated in life; what they do, what they say, their dynamics and their perceptions. It should be plain as day to a wise CS in how the person processes Dianetics. When someone has gone Clear there is a definitive change. Understanding that and all the facets of the tech is the key. I don’t think that the depth of understanding and the ability to play all the notes on the piano keyboard is there for those who manufacture difficulty for pcs on something as apparent as a Clear state. When understanding is shallow or not there in the first place then roteness, case abuse, and invalidation flourishes.

One good thing about being in the independent field is that you can choose who you want to work with. But be sure to check out qualifications; when, where, and whom they were trained by. Some professing to know how to deliver the Ls and advanced levels do not have proper or complete training to do so. One example is an auditor who has a glossy website, but was only RPFd trained. He put a person on the OT levels who was not clear and didn’t even do the meter drills beforehand! One of my friends has pointed out that today’s RPF can take many years unlike its original intent. This perhaps makes it possible for the person to understand the tech on more than a read it, drill it, do it basis. However, the RPF is not designed to make a polished interned Class 5 or Class 8, nor an Ls auditor by definition. The question really is can the person deliver Standard Tech at the level the pc needs; Book One, Dianetics, grades? The upper levels and Ls by their nature can be volatile and if not done correctly can result in damage to the person and others. When this material is approached please ensure the person you entrust yourself to is qualified so you have a safe journey.

To summarize David Miscavige and the Church of Scientology has an agenda. The agenda is not for individual betterment. It has been said loudly and clearly that it is all about greed and schemes. When any organization takes it sights off each and every individual who walks in the door it will fail. When doctrine is more important than the individual to succeed then all is lost.

I wanted to mention these points in a precise technical manner for those of you who read this blog as well those you may know who are still in the church struggling with these and other serious errors. I can cite many more examples of case histories that have had these and other gross tech errors. But, I’d like to hear your stories. How Miscavige Killed Church Management

In January 1996 when I returned to the Int Base after two years of tech training at the Ship and Flag, Miscavige was well in progress on annihilating church management.

First, Miscavige was in the process of  busting Marc Yager off CO CMO INT/WDC Chairman and spent three years attempting to turn the man into a mouse.

Second, Miscavige had nearly all those who remained in Int Managment working on an evolution as massive in content and as destructive in result as Golden Age of Tech.  In his Stalinesque style Miscavige dubbed it New Era of Management. Like GAT, NEM consisted of endless binders of  Miscavige written and/or directed and approved material. Just as GAT forever altered and replaced LRH tech, NEM forever altered and buried LRH admin.

Miscavige had teams of key executives for Upper Middle Management (Int Liaison Office which he had previously dubbed Flag Command Bureaux which was originally back in the day of LRH called the Flag Bureau) and for every Continental management office up at Int Base for months preparing to fire to implement his grand NEM scheme in one, sudden, implant-like fashion.   Those involved in that evolution are well represented here and I am sure can fill in some of the details of their engramic several month Q and A “briefing” period.  If the “trainees” or “Missionaires in briefing” learned anything it was these two lessons that were implanted with an atomic branding iron:

a)  Miscavige and his NEM issues were senior to LRH and his virtual books (in the form of Flag Orders and Central Bureau Orders and OEC) on management.

b) Scientology did not exist at the International Scientology Headquarters.

 Third, the international tech heirarchy was effectively made leaderless by the busting of Ray Mithoff from the post of Senior C/S Int.  Oh,he retained the title, but he was made a mere figurehead (just as Heber had been made as President CSI and Guillaume as ED Int as early as the eighties).  Dan Koon was put on as Snr C/S Int Chief – administrative head of the Snr CS Int Office. Once DM effectively dead agented Ray with all Int tech terminals (including his own Snr CS Int office) Dan was posted elsewhere – and Ray from thereon out was nothing more than a figurehead (Note: Dan had no knowledge and played no part in the Miscavige Op – Dan is the last person in the world who would engage in denigrating a person into oblivion).

Next Miscavige appointed Mark Ingber as CO CMO INT/WDC Chairman.  Through continual barrages of verbal cross orders to not only LRH, but even to his own NEM, plus beatings and invalidation, Miscavige soon destroyed Ingber. 

Miscavige replaced Ingber with Jenny Linsen Devocht.  Through the same methods that he had destroyed Yager and Ingber, sans the beatings, he destroyed Jenny.

Miscavige replaced Linsen with Wendell Reynolds of Int Finance Dictator fame.  But Wendell soon went the route of the other who preceeded him.

By the time Miscavige had made mincemeat of that troika, Yager had graduated the RPF (1999) and he was thrown back into the fire.  By then,  CMO Int and Exec Strata were choked by so many restrictions (such as no evals allowed; no programs that did not push NEM and Golden Age of Tech allowed) that International Management had become a mere functionless title.  To ensure no management would emanate from Int, Miscavige assigned the entire Int Base lower conditions from which they never were allowed to emerge.  Yager was declared SP, as were a number of Interntional managers, as were Mike Rinder (while WDC OSA) and I (while on the post of IG), as were a number of other Int base execs; all ordered by Miscavige, all while we continued to occupy our posts. 

By the year 2000, Scientology Management was dead.

The proof of the pudding is the current scene.  Here it is in a nutshell:

Marc Yager is still holds the title CO CMO INT/WDC Chairman.  But there is no CMO INT nor WDC, with the exception of Angie Blankenship who holds WDC Ideal Orgs. But Angie doesn’t answer to Yager; she reports and answers to Miscavige.  Yager has been reduced to being a preps boy (culling pc folders and ethics folders at Int to find lurid details on the likes of us) for Dan Sherman (LRH Biographer) to write “freedom mags” and the myriad anti-Marty sites OSA has its operatives pretend spontaneously appear.

Yager does not even report to Miscavige, because Miscavige cannot look at him without leaping at him and pummeling him to a pulp every time he is in his sight. So, Jenny Linsen (whose post title is D/CO Production CMO INT) actually forwards and all communication between Miscavige and her nominal senior Yager.

Miscavige bypasses whatever is left between Int Liaison Office (Upper Middle Management) and Continental Liaison Offices and orgs by directly running every CO CMO Cont.  That is right, he receives weekly reports routed directly to COB RTC from each CO CMO.  The reports report on stats for each continent and org (as in Ship, FSO, PAC) where each CMO unit is located.  Miscavige then whips out his dictaphone and rattles off weekly orders to the CO CMO’s on a purely stimulus-response basis.  And that is what he calls management. Anyone with the slightest training or understanding of LRH FO and CBO and HCOPL tech recognizes that I do not exagerate when I say that management has long since died, and there is no such thing as management any more.  There may be bodies at the CSI Management building at Hollywood and Ivar, and there may be bodies in CLOS, but per HCO PL Danger Conditions, Why Organizations Stay Small – with such long term and thorough bypass, they do not in fact exist.

To exacerbate matters Miscavige utterly bypasses Snr CS Int Office, Tech and Qual bureaus Int and Cont, and even tech heirarchies of orgs such a FSSO and FSO and AOs by virtue of running all tech matters through his RTC rep NW.  They too write weekly reports to Miscavige and he replies to each one – when he is not too busy skiing, scuba diving, or attending premieres with celebrity pals.  Most of those reps have never audited a single grade on another person, nor even C/S’d a person up a single grade or level of the Bridge.

RTC at Int is reduced to nothing but service facilities for Miscavige – communicators, secretaries, mail clerks, stewards, maids, chefs, etc – and Warren McShane who handles “Legal”.   Incidentally, some wonder why OSA has become a toothless shadow of a network.  That too is answered by HCO PL, Danger Conditions.  DM and Warren have bypassed them, directly hiring and running an outside intelligence apparatus to “monitor” my “activities.”   And they are incompetent beyond belief.  Meanwhile whenever OSA does through blood, sweat and tears establish an intelligence line in my general vicinity, Miscavige blows it by ordering some knee-jerk (completely stimulus-response)  “expose” on Marty and Mike; expose’s that are so thoroughly chock-full of embellishment and lies they have zero impact.   And so,  the last thing Miscavige used to be able to rely upon (a network that at least could make people afraid of him) has also been decimated by Miscavige himself.

By the way, since the late nineties the one corporate and ecclesiastical post that could anything about this state of affairs technically has been usurped also by Miscavige. The CO Church of Spiritual Technology (CST, which holds an option to shut down and take over RTC’s function in the event of this level of departure from RTC purpose and function) Russ Bellin had been Miscavige’s project manager for such important matters as the Mark VIII E-meter that has been rotting in a warehouse for five years (and will likely remain there forever), and building unbelievably expensive CD and transcript productions lines (which are largely superfluous in this day of downloadable audio and video).  That all ended a couple of years ago when Miscavige (as is his habit) decided everything Russ did (that had been heavily promoted by Miscavige as being the only competent products on his lines) were all Overt Products (even though Miscavige publicly basks in the glory of them to this day).  Miscavige busted Russ to Int Finance Director, after he found out the previous IFD (Wendell Reynolds) had secretly financed the blow of an Int Staff member (God bless Wendell after all).

Russ got tired of  two years in the hole and this past spring made a break for it.   Unfortunately, his foot kicked the fence on his way over, and he was quickly apprehended and returned by Gold Security.

Miscavige has kept CST in check by a loophole he found in LRH’s estate planning that sought to guard against Miscavige’s type of destrcutive dictatorship.  That is, CST officers and directors must remain in good standing with the mother church CSI in order to qualify for remaining in CST.  DM controls CSI with an iron fist, and the moment anyone in CST shows the slightest sign of stepping out of line, why, Miscavige simply arranges their dismissal from CST into a lower corporation like CSI – as he did with Bellin.

Perhaps all this sheds more light on why I have no hesitancy in pronouncing the church’s death.

This true state of affairs is why I have been directing my attention more and more towards the future.

Worrying about the church, or hoping for its salvage, is a collossal waste of time and energy.

It is dead.
