Cruise Missile or Scud?

For those of us who assumed Cruise was wisely distancing himself from Miscavige, I’ve got news.  DM is still deploying Tom’s lawyer Bert Fields as an attack dog.  After his failed attempts to shut me up Fields is now trying to shudder Amy Scobee into silence.  I have included a link to a letter recently sent from the august Mr. Fields directly to Amy.  TC 4.6.10 L-Amy Scobee

Now, I have some unsolicited advice for Fields (and by extension his nominal client Tom and his de facto client Dave):

Re drugs. Amy simply recounted a conversation wherein DM’s wife and Assistant Shelly Miscavige  told Amy that Tom was “so gung-ho” that he wanted to join the Sea Org but he didn’t qualify because of his previous drug history. Bert, you “doubt” Shelly ever said that? Then why not talk to the wife of your client’s best friend and find out? She is at the CST Mile High property near Lake Arrowhead California. She has been under constant surveillance by my former wife whom DM has turned in to a prison guard. But, I am sure Tom’s pal DM can get you brief visitation.

Re Break up with Nicole.  Amy doesn’t cover it in her book because  she did not have any first hand information about the circumstances of their break up.

Re Tom’s money being lost by Scientologists.  Amy covers her first-hand experience with Alan Hollander. He was sent to Amy to get him to join the Sea Org (even though he had huge pressing debts). DM had Alan immediately put in the bilges on the ship for punishment – for what reason, Amy did not know at that time. When Alan served his sentence and resurfaced, he told Amy he had been assigned to hard labor because he messed up on some investment for TC. She then was ordered to post him in CC Int. She complied, but he had to leave the Sea Org shortly thereafter because his debts were so bad and were not getting handled.  Bert, first check your facts with Hollander and your client. Then what you need to do is apply some “varying of the question” and ask DM about the Feshbachs. DM got Tom to invest a bundle with them as he had also done personally. The F brothers were making DM so much money personally from their short selling DM wanted to impress Tom with the caliber of his brand of OTs.  The Feschbachs lost  Tom’s and DM’s (new) investment money. In order to stay in with the in-crowd (perhaps so that their progeny might one day pimp for DM) they put their own money up to cover both Tom’s and DM’s losses.  It seems the more DM tries to muscle people, the more he refreshes my memory.

Re church paid staff working for Cruise. Amy did a project to hire Scientologists for TC’s household.  Amy went to Tom’s house and Jenny Gaynor (LRH Household Unit staff member) was there working for TC at the direction of Miscavige. Gaynor told Amy that Amy was replacing her on all the functions she was performing for Tom… (executive housekeeper, maid, cook).  Again Bert, why don’t you ask Jenny whether that is true, or DM, or Shelly, or perhaps even your nominal client?

It would appear to me that all you have accomplished for your client over the past year is to write letters that position Tom as being as  paranoid and aggressive as the cult leader he apparently follows.

Bert, I have some more fundamental advice for you.  You damage your client’s reputation more each day by aggressively pursuing DM’s agenda to bury TRUTH than by any TRUTH that Amy, or anyone else for that matter, might impart. 

As Mr Hubbard put it: truth, though often fought, always in the end prevails.

PS: Don’t bother bitching to Amy about this post. She simply forwarded the letter for informal advice, since I had dealt with you qua DM’s lawyer in the past. I decided to post this on my own initiative, because I find your cover up tactics (particularly after being put on notice so thoroughly by me) are deplorable.

CNN AC 360 Part One

My only comment is reference to L Ron Hubbard’s words from the lecture Overt Acts, Motivators and Deds (lecture #8) Technique 88 Lectures 25 June 1952:

When you speak of the creator, and you’re probably speaking of something entirely different than implanted religion. Religion is always different than truth. It has to be. Because the only way you can control a people is to lie to them. And you can write that down in your book there-very big letters. The only way you can control anybody is to lie to them-lie to them. 

All right, now look. When you find an individual is lying to you, you know that the individual is trying to control you. You can put that down. One way or the other, this individual is trying to control you. That’s a mechanism of control. The individual is lying to you, so they’re trying to control you. Because if they give you enough misinformation they’ll throw you far enough down the Tone Scale so they can control you.

 Conversely, if you see an impulse on the part of a human being to control you, you know very well that that human being is lying to you. Not is just going to-but IS lying to you. Check up the facts, you’ll find out they’re always true. That person is trying to control you, he’s lying to you. He’s got to tell you lies, in order to continue to control, because the second you start telling anybody anything close to truth, you start releasing him, and he gets tougher and tougher to control.  So you can’t control somebody, without telling them a bunch of fibs. 

You’ll find that command has this very often as its greatest weakness.  It’ll try to control instead of lead. And the next thing you know, it’s lying to the crew, lying to the crew lie, lie, lie, lie,lie. And it gets worse and worse, then all of a sudden the thing blows up. 

Well religion has done this. Organized religion, tries to control, so therefore it must be lying, and therefore it must know it’s lying-after a while it figures out that even itself knows it’s lying. And then it starts on down the Tone Scale and gets further and further and further and people all of a sudden get down across this spring bottom and-‘Are we going into apathy and die or are we going to revolt?’ And they will revolt. You can only lie to people so long. But fortunately-unfortunately, there’s always a new cycle of lying.

As I use the word religion, it has nothing to do with God.

Suppression of Truth and Freedom of Speech and the Press

Take a look at the chain emails C of Mers are sending around, and the uninformed, crass letters they are soliciting to bombard CNN with.  Now, recognize this.  Anderson Cooper’s investigation has been ongoing since July 2009.  The C of M has put him under unrelenting harrassment since. They have sent reams of paper and letters from high priced lawyers coast to coast. They are chock full of outright lies.  They are also chock full of threats. They have used their celebrities to pull strings with CNN and parent company Time Warner executives. They have run  a campaign to discredit Anderson and his producer. Both have worked far more than any two professionals should have to to report on serial felonies committed by a man who has collected 3/4 of a billion dollars by falsely portraying himself as victim of outside oppression. A man who spends those billions to have slick videos produced using children and unwitting celebrities to promote the church as a defender of Human Rights, while Miscavige himself violates Human Rights on a daily basis.  A man who has spent millions attempting to buy off  Anderson’s bosses with advertisement placement while hammering them with unending threats predicated on lies. A man who stooped so low as to have Tommy literally stalk Cooper in an attempt to intimidate him into silence.  OSA even began investigating and leaking lies and innuendo about Anderson to stop his investigation from airing.  I can tell you from personal experience that Anderson did a real journalist’s job. He didn’t just listen to me. He pressed me hard with every allegation the church made about me. He made me produce witness after witness to corroborate every fact. And now, Miscavige is having his Kool Aid drinkers telling Anderson’s bosses he is a bigot and tabloider?  If you have detected a hint of militantism creeping into my writing voice recently, it is this type of travesty that is causing it.  I don’t apologize for it.  If any of you feel you need to balance the organized lobbying that is going on by speaking up yourselves, I strongly suggest that you make your missives far more professional and informed than the garbage that C of M is attempting to make stick on CNN’s walls.

Dear Mr. Cooper,

I would have thought that you of all people would stay far away
from tabloid journalism. I found out today that you intend to run a
piece on my church that is by definition “tabloid fodder” and was
shocked by it, to be honest. I have always respected your honest
and forthright approach to journalism, and would never expect such
titillating type gossip to come from you.

Salacious reporting has no place in a newsroom. This piece that you
are doing isn’t news, it’s gossip that has been forwarded by ex-
members who are a bunch of cry babies and losers. Their ethical
standards did not live up the credo of our church as set forth by
its founder, L. Ron Hubbard. I am a parishioner of the Church of
Scientology, and was raised to be a Scientologist, as both my
parents are Scientologists. I have known life both inside as a
church member, and outside as a non church member. There was a
period of time as a young adult that I chose to take my own path
and see what other religions had to offer me. I was never
persecuted, or harassed, or followed or kept. I was wished well by
many very gracious and lovely people. My parents, both upstanding,
long-time Scientologists, did nothing but SUPPORT my decision, and
even encourage me to see what else was out there.

I had, of course, done many of the Scientology religious services
so I had a good picture of what Scientology had to give me. I
studied many religions, and even gave Agnosticism a try. But
ultimately, I came back to Scientology. In all my searching, I had
never and still haven’t found a group more open to accepting me for
ME, or more supportive of my thirst for knowledge. I found that
Scientology consists of a really good group of members who want to
help. And that is the group of people that I wanted to be a part of.

You go ahead and feed the masses your slops, they, I’m sure will
gorge on it. But know that you are not presenting the true picture
of Scientology. You can’t possibly know the life that a died-in-the-
wool Scientologist lives until you see one of us in action. Don’t
compare the honesty and integrity of true Scientologists to
lowlifes who are bitter and unhappy because they were booted out of
the group.

I am no angel

 Since DM has been making such an enormous effort to discredit me to actual and potential independents I thought I might finally weigh in.  I’ve heard of people attempting to defend me during church gang-up confrontations. Let me tell you what I’ve told them. I am no angel. I never purported to be one. To try to make me out to be one is a losing proposition.  It is much more productive to demand answers to questions you have formulated by what you have directly observed yourself.  C of M spokespeople will deny everything I have said, regardless of the strength of evidence. The world is flat, and that is that.  Then they will overwhelm you with unending stories of my alleged crimes.  They will even attempt to portray me as acting like I never did anything wrong in my life, precisely what they are falsely asserting about DM and  have no power to deviate from.

What they won’t tell you is that I never claimed to be Little Lord Fautelroy in the first place. Just as I told the St Pete Times the first time they reached out for me. I told them right up front that I had engaged in my share of physical violence in the church, that I had violated the confessional procedure by feeding DM’s black dianetics process of making people guilty of their overts (real and imagined), that I designed and operated systems for keeping people locked in to DM’s nightmare compound. I told them about an illegal act I commited in the McPherson case (which contrary to claims by some, very well could have been prosecuted had the State Attorney had the inclination to). Other crimes were confessed. I wasn’t in a confessional, so didn’t recount every transgression on my track. But, I made it crystal clear I wasn’t purporting to be speaking with clean hands. Because I was not.

In fact, all the church bruhaha about me and my alleged crimes bolsters the credibility of my accounts. Though authorship and ownership is falesly attributed by the church, their utterances confirm the picture of Int Base being the house of horrors that I have described – backed by over 20 public accounts at this time.  Fact of the matter is, if one were squeaky clean one could not have been in a p0sition to observe it. As Robert Bonner (former Director of the Drug Enforcement Administration) once said, “With a plot hatched in hell, don’t expect angels for witnesses.” 

 When I got hit with DM’s barrage of robot responses trying to hang me with his crimes, I had two major answers:

1) First, in my rough estimation 25% of what they alleged about me was true. 25% was embellished. The remaining 50% was manfuctured (much of it accusing me of what DM personally did with his little paws).

2) The BIG LIE in the entire Church presentation on me is the notion that DM was gone from the Int base for much of two years leading up to the end of 2003, when he returned to the base and dropped his jaw in horror at the “reign of terror” the Kingpin had created.  Why do I call it the big lie?  Because in the 42 months leading up to my February 2004 departure from the base, I was OFF the Int base entirely (far away) for 34 of those months. I wasn’t hiding either. Plenty of people saw me at CC Int between July 2001 and April 2002 full time handling Tom Cruise, Jason Beghe, Isaac Hayes, and driving the org into a two year unbroken affluence by insisting upon implementation of HCO PL How To Boom An Org Through Training. If you doubt the latter, ask Dave Petit about it (note his facial expression when he tells you it isn’t so).  Between April 2002 and late August 2003 I was in Clearwater almost continuously and I was plainly visible there. I was handling the McPherson Civil case, a PRO area control program, getting Cruise through OT VI, and helping DM’s sister evade suboenas from the Security and Exchange Commmission investigation into her and Brian Zwann.  During that entire time, DM was primarily at the Int base. How do I know? Because I had to report to the queen of micro management many times a day by phone during that entire 2 1/2 year period. In fact, it was I who came back to the base after a long absence to discover the Jonestownsian cult compound DM had created.

That’s it.  Otherwise, I am guilty and complicit in the gross out tech, empowering DM’s black dianetics campaign, and yes physical violence that had become rampant on the base. It sickened me to the core, and it lead to me leaving  exactly as stated in my video taped interviews now available on the St Pete Times web site (see the link on the right hand column on this blog).

 That DM is currently sending missionaires around the world to trot out my secret declare order and 250 pages of affidavits from 25 top Int robots to demonstrate my evil, while to this day denying EVERY single fact we’ve disclosed (which is now backed by more than 20 on record witnesses) about his own conduct is I believe testament to what I’ve been communicating on this blog. That is, there is very little chance for change within. There is no room for independent, decent and pro-survival initiative to reverse the course.  It is testament that DM is using his iron grip to prevent the possibility of case gain for C of M’s top managers – and of course himself – and increasingly so for even public – by enforcing they live and forward LIES. 

I believe Scientology is all about redemption. I subscribe to LRH’s view that ANYONE can trim his or her sheets (sails) and live a productive life.  That is what I am trying to do now. I think that is what a lot of us are trying to do now.  Let us never forget what LRH wrote in Data Series 23, “The heart of Review is HUMILITY.”

Back to the issue at hand.  Don’t try to defend me.  It is a losing cause. The Lord knows that – and  if you listen to what I’ve been saying you’ll know it too. If I can help people to look for themselves, I’ll keep doing it.  But, if you are going to make a decision to leave the grips of the monster, do it based on your own observations of what you witness. If you are in doubt, go look more deeply. Question authority.  But just don’t simply hang your hat on me; it is liable to get shot full of holes.  Then they’ll sentence you to  purgatory forever. 

Instead, apply the Code of Honor and LRH’s definition of Personal Integrity. If you do so for real, I guarantee you’ll be in fat city (in a spiritual sense) from here on out.

Reverse Indulgences – the final purges part 6

After escaping Flag and securing a rental car, Debbie and Wayne did like every self-respecting erstwhile slave has done for centuries, hightailed it north. They drove toward Debbie’s father’s place in North Carolina. They attempted to remain low profile. However, OSA spared no money in hunting them down. Debbie and Wayne were located in a coffee shop in South Carolina. While Security and OSA sources debate the truth of it, at least one of them insists that the OSA operatives on the scene used a car to block Debbie and Wayne’s in its parking spot in the lot. Kathy True (who ironically has lately taken to telling lies habitually) from OSA Flag entered the coffee shop and tried to convince Debbie and Wayne to return. They finally agreed to at least route out “properly” so they would not be declared. Debbie insisted her father was awaiting their arrival and they were going to see him first.

True received a brutal toasting for letting them leave South Carolina headed north. Consequently, True dashed to North Carolina and immediately began pestering Debbie and Wayne to return to Flag.

Debbie and Wayne only agreed to return under the promise that they do NOTHING but route out rapidly. They returned after True had accepted their terms as authorized by DM through his RTC Rep Flag.

Craig Jensen’s daughter got the assignment to sec check Debbie. She was an RTC sec checker, despite being a relatively green SO member, perhaps because of daddy’s elite IAS donation status. Debbie was put in “session” and was immediately interrogated. It was an out-tech dog’s breakfast, Nazi-style badgering ordeal.

When Debbie had finally had enough she threatened the RTC rep that if she was not out of custody by the next day that the Clearwater Police would arrive to release her.

Lo and behold, Debbie was finally speaking DM’s language. Suddenly, Debbie was being listened to. An OSA team came in and delivered DM’s life ring for Debbie and Wayne to avoid declares and lost hope of ever using or seeing Scientology at any time in the future. Some “bullet-proof” termination contracts were drafted by OSA attorneys. The contracts called for heavy monetary fines should Debbie and Wayne ever disclose the seriatum violations of State and Federal criminal laws they had witnessed and were subjected to. In order to make the contracts “binding”, they were given modest severance pay in exchange for their non-disclosure promises.

That’s right folks, DM’s latest “solution” to holding onto his precious withholds is paying people not to disclose them. I call it Reverse Indulgences, after the Medeival Catholic church practice of accepting money in exchange for exonerating folk for their confessed crimes. The practice was so abhorred it served as the primary motivator for the Reformation. DM’s Reverse Indulgences is a far more pernicious practice. He pays money (parishioner’s donations) to prevent folk from confessing his own crimes.

Now, our legal team (yes, we have quite a formidable one, all sub rosa for now of course) has done plenty of research on the matter. Their conclusion is that DM’s silence contracts are NOT enforcable for two primary reasons:

a) Contracts that silence the disclosure of felonious behavior are a violation of public policy and are thus unlawful.

b) The contracts we are familiar with so far dispense such a pittance in exchange for silence (and are entered into with a party who has no opportunity for legal representation) they are unenforceable contracts. For example, in the case of Debbie what do you suppose reasonable severance compensation would be for a Chief Executive Officer who brought in 1.75 Billion dollars during her tenure (yes One Billion, Seven-hundred and fifty million dollars)? Believe me, she got chump’s change. So did the other subjects of “contract tech.”

At the same time, recognize that Debbie, Wayne and others similarly situated are suffering from an intentionally created in terrorum effect. That terror is the knowledge that for all practical purposes they do have their backs against the wall because Miscavige WILL spend however many millions he has to ruin his opponent.

I call it the Time Warner effect. We sued Time Warner over their 1991 Time magazine cover story. After eight years of expensive litigation the dismissal of the case was affirmed by the highest court in the land. The press duly noted Time’s “victory”, while DM laughed all the way to the IAS patron’s ball. You see, we knew that Time had spent so much money defending themselves from our punishing over-litigation strategy that during the course of the litigation Time had exceeded their insurance coverage. First they had to dig significant amounts out of their own coffers to see the case through. Second, they had hugely increased premiums when they finally found a carrier after their then-current one dumped them like a plague infested rat.

DM literally giggled for years at how Time began to treat Scientology with kid gloves, steering clear of  any Scientology controversy. And while his mirth is more twisted and spasmodic of late, he still feels a measure of confidence with the TW boys.

So, if America’s largest media conglomerates can be made to kow tow to the menace, what do you think a single, middle-aged wreck, with no viable job history and no assets feels like?

Please recognize that when dealing with people who have been subjected to “contract tech” or Reverse Indulgences. At the end of the day, the more folks who step up to the plate the safer it will be for them too.

It puts me and some of my friends in a very tough and vulnerable position to carry on with the work we do. But, hey if life were fair what kind of game would we have?

Miscavige’s War on the Media

DM’s henchmen Mike Sutter and Hansuili are criss crossing the world telling Scientology public that “everybody knows” the SP Times just “has it in for Scientology.”  They’ve argued that the fact that hardly any national media have run the Times’ stories on Scientology that is  proof that the St Pete Times made up the facts for their several series on Scientology published since last  June.

Now the Washington Post has reported that DM has hired “award winning” journalists to investigate the SP Times.

To understand how devious and unethical Tommy and DM have become, I highly recommend you listen to this radio show on the matter. Listen through to the end. While these “journalists” signed contracts that required the Church to release the entire report or none of it, Tommy  has already breached the contract, leaking to the media his characterization of it, saying it is unfavorable to the Times.

Why do I refer to the church’s hired “journalists” in quotation marks?  Because the whores never did an investigation. How do I know?  Because they never bothered to interview Mike Rinder and I who were central participants from the outset in the Times’ series.  I have worked on PR lines and with 60 Minutes, 20/20, NY Times, LA Times, and a host of others for 22 years – and never, NEVER, have I witnessed a media outlet more thoroughly investigate (down to multiple cross-corroboration, anad dotting i’s and crossing t’s) as the St Pete Times has done over the past year. NEVER.

Now, to fully appreciate what a depraved rat Miscavige is I am going to repeat some background. I have said much of this before, but sometimes the rudiments bear repetition.

In 1998, I spent several months lobbying the SP Times, and preparing them for an interview they had requested of Miscavige.  Mike Rinder and I spent many days plying Joe Childs and Tom Tobin with documents and tours of facilities, and many stage-managed and rehearsed interviews with pre-selected staff and celebrities for this all-imporant profile on Miscavige.   I probably had on the order of several dozen meetings and phone calls with Childs, Tobin, and the Time’s Publisher trying to spin and control the matter.

Of course, anyone who has read the June 2009 St Pete Times series knows that Mike and I both lied for Miscavige during that 98 profile.

Ok, so the profile of DM runs on the front page of St Pete Times in late 98.  DM is infatuated with it. He thinks it has capture what a bad ass, tough guy, no nonsense executive he is.  DM ordered hundreds of copies be distributed all throughout the FSO/FLB orgs.  DM had dozens of copies shipped on the first flight from Clearwater. He had the fr0nt cover, with his tough guy mug shot, pinned to bulletin boards, and easels throughout Internationa headquarters. DM made a special trip to the St Pete Times to profusely thank Mr. Childs and Mr. Tobin for their jounalistic prowess.

Now, Mike Rinder can confirm all that and the following.  Once the “product” was gotten, DM – as is his habit – wrote Mike and I out of the history of the evolution. DM ranted to a full WDC/CMOI/Exec strata conference room on numerous occasions how he, DM, was the ONLY guy who could handle a PR cycle – he was the ONLY guy with such a product: the St Pete Times profile on him. He explained that he worked for years to win over Tobin and Childs to understanding just what a powerful guy DM is.

Now, in May 2009 when the Times asked for DM’s interview to answer to what I had disclosed, DM went on the lam. That is right, he has been hiding from the Times and me like a fugutive facing a murder rap. I was just at the Int Base last week for an hour and a half.  DM has built himself a NEW 2 million dollar compound withinm the compound, with new towering , thick walls then surrounded by his existing electronic metal perimeter fence.  In one and one half hours there, not ONE, NOT ONE, staff member showed his/her face. Even the guard booth was shuttered.  If you watched the video interviews of me on the SP Times website, you’ll know I spent nearly a year of my life awaiting the promised confrontation with DM on the subject of Black Dianetics. The punk remains a fugutive from me, going on six years now.

Now, DM has bought off and intimidated Time Warner and its branch CNN, shuddering them into silence. I am investigating his buying off Associated Press and CBS. You WILL DEFINITELY be hearing particulars about these matters. I don’t have the slightest back off; I spent three years in indy media investigating the buying off of the US media over the past two decades. It was one of the reasons I chose only to talk to the Times initially. They are one of only a handful of large media outlets not owned by for profit corporations dedicated to suppressing news that might reveal their own greed and crimes.

Now, for this punk (and I am sorry if that type of language offends anyone, but after a walk by the boat canal to cool off, I still can’t come up with a more appropriate term for this guy) to have the moxie to hire “award winning journalists” to investigate and black PR  the ONLY media outlet (but for ABC Nightline) that wasn’t for sale, and went ahead and investigated his serial, habitual FELONIES and HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS – I am sorry, even though I am a busy individual, I am going to see to it  – one way of the other – that justice prevails.

Rinder and I have said from the beginning that this story is like Watergate. The evil and corruption involved in the cover up will far overshadow the underlying crimes (as unconscionable as they are).
