Suppression of family starting with L. Ron Hubbard’s family

Ok, here is the beginning of my promised series connecting the dots of C of M familicide policy to its author, David Miscavige. You will get the complete story when my book is published. For now, these facts will suffice.

In 1981 Pat Broeker helped get his then-pal David Miscavige assigned to the position of Special Project Ops. As such DM was responsible for attaining an All Clear, meaning deal with the couple dozen civil suits that named LRH as a defendant, so that LRH could come to the Int Base and complete what he considered his most important final task of this lifetime. That task, direct and produce the tech films so that T.R.s and Metering could be mastered – those skills that LRH had always said would guarantee a case gain. (In a later story – or in the book – I’ll fully connect the dots so that all can see the complete Black Dianetics nature of Golden Age of Tech and all other nifty curve balls DM entered into the line up instead)

Miscavige seized on the opportunity to keep LRH off the lines and hijack the church through the power derived as serving as gate keeper for all communications to and from LRH. Broeker was in league, until LRH died and DM decided there could only be one (Kergin from Highlander, anyone?)

“All communications” included from the outset communications from L. Ron Hubbard’s wife and long-time confidante Mary Sue, as well as the rest of LRH’s family.

DM used his ONLY line early on by setting up Mary Sue as the fall woman for the lack of an All Clear. Miscavige would later brag about the “courage” it took to get Mary Sue to step down in his “one on one” encounter with her. See SP Times 1998 article The Man Behind Scientology. What Miscavige did not tell the Times was this:

Mary Sue Hubbard did not relinquish control because of Miscavige’s superior persuasion skills. She demanded that she be able to communicate to her husband. Miscavige said “no.” And there was not a single thing Mary Sue could do about it. She was defeated by the severance of the line to her husband. DM possesses the evidence of this. That is because he had JB bug the hotel room where the meeting took place. JB sat outside in a van (ala French Connection) with headphones monitoring the operation as it was recorded for posterity (without Mary Sue’s consent) onto the reel to reel recording tape.

I know everything that went down. That is because by default I became Mary Sue’s church terminal. She was so ARC broken with Miscavige, and messengers by extension, she refused to communicate with anyone from the Special Project. That was a huge flap, because her assistance as a witness was required in the litigation. Being a relatively green, amiable guy (I once was believe it or not) and non Messenger, I was elected to repair the line. And I remained in comm with Mary Sue till the quiet, sad end of her life.

Shortly thereafter, Diana Hubbard Horwich attempted to stop DM in his massacre of the mission holders. Her associates were all declared, and when she attempted to communicate what was going on to her father, her comm was cut and she was shot.

Fast forward five years.

In January 1986 Suzette Hubbard was engaged to be married to then-Marketing Exec International Guy White. Suzette’s father L. Ron Hubbard died on January 24th that same year. Suzette and Guy put off their wedding date so as to take care of LRH’s final wishes and pay their respects. However, none of LRH’s family – including Suzette – were invited to attend his final days by Pat Broeker and David Miscavige. Nor were any of them invited to his funeral and the spreading of his ashes days later.

Suzette and Guy were married on March 8th 1986. Suzette immediately became pregnant and was ordered to the International base by Miscavige.
Guy White, who was already at the base, was assigned to the RPF in the summer of that same year. At the Happy Valley locale of the Int base RPF, he joined his brother-in-law Arthur Hubbard and the only other male figure in left the family, Jon Horwich (ex-husband of Diana Hubbard and father to their daughter – Roanne).

During Suzette’s pregnancy, DM ordered published an issue stating that no babies can be born to S.O. Members. Did you get that? He put that issue out while LRH’s daughter was pregnant and in the S.O.

Tyson Hubbard White was born 9 months and 1 day after his parents were married, 9 Dec 1986.

LRH’s grand son was given a hearty welcome by DM by assigning his mother, LRH’s daughter, to the post of laundress. Her duties included, among other things, literally handling David Miscavige’s dirty laundry.

Guy White received a Board of Review that ruled his assignment to the RPF was erroneous. However, rather than returning to his post as Marketing Exec in the Office of ED Int – as is required by LRH Flag Order – he was assigned to the post of Clapper in Cine Gold. The post of Marketing Exec International was then filled by David Miscavige’s brother Ronnie. Don’t get me wrong, Ronnie was a tremendous Marketing Exec Int, but so was Guy, and the fashion in which DM cast LRH policy aside in the case of Guy White bears telling.

Guy and Suzette took family time, an S.O. tradition, either one hour before or after dinner. Even though they had been put into some of the lowest posts conceivable on the base, they found it increasingly difficult to take that one hour to be with their young son.

Tyson was being taken care of based on a personal letter earlier written to John Horwich from LRH that laid out a program for his and Diana’s daughter, Roanne. LRH referred to it as “a big program for a little princess.” The LRH Household Unit was being run on a parallel program, The Prince Program, for Tyson.
Then, an issue ordered by DM was put out that canceled Family Time for all S.O. members.

Suzette vehemently protested the issue and challenged its validity. She was told that there was nothing that could be found written by LRH covering family time. Suzette responded stating that she LIVED IT, that her father spent a minimum of an hour a day with them at Saint Hill in addition to dinner time, that the church needs to find it. We did find ample documentation that LRH ordered and enforced family time for SO families. DM ordered the evidence withheld from Suzette.

Conditions did not change. Finally, Suzette left the base with Tyson and showed up at her mother’s house for refuge never to return to the SO.
Guy left the base some months later joining up with Suzette and Tyson.

Suzette and Guy raised two other children, a daughter Alysa Marie and a second son Connor Bryce.

Now, I am not saying any existing personality is of particular significance in all this, nor that even if he or she were it would have any bearing on the route out across the Bridge. However, I cannot help but find the interesting historical parallels with the biblical times Massacre of the Innocents. You can read about it here:

The media – even the best and strongest – have been backed off from exposing Miscavige. They took such a bludgeoning over the original Truth Rundown series and Anderson Cooper’s History of Violence, and continue to over at the BBC, that they have been coerced into laying off Miscavige. Not a knock on the fine gentlemen and gentlewomen who have gone through the C of M gauntlet over the past year. Quite the contrary, props to them.  But, we have our own media now.  And it reaches far more of those whom we’d like to reach than the largest and most prestigious of news agencies.

You want the truth?

Can you handle the truth?

You think you are entitled to the truth?

Then stayed tuned to this blog.

L. Ron Hubbard’s legacy shall be resurrected.

And L. Ron Hubbard’s family shall be vindicated.

And remember,

“Truth, though often fought, always in the end prevails.” – L. Ron Hubbard

The Citadel

DM has been attempting to export his “hole” to the outside world. He did it last year by sending nine “execs” to Clearwarter to scream into the faces of St Pete Times reporters. This year he exported the dog and pony show to NY and Atlanta to subject Anderson Cooper and the exec structure of CNN to it.  He sent virtual Hole squads to the streets of Clearwater Florida, Port Aransas and Ingleside Texas and to the Corpus Christi Airport.  We decided to reverse the flow and inject some theta into DM’s hole.

JB and I went to the Int HQ base Saturday to collect JB’s passport and to penetrate the walls of the citadel with some ideas.  When we arrived we were hollered at by Security and a hired gun to leave the property.  Security called 911 with great fanfare, a DMesque show of force.  Shortly after our arrival  DM’s personal Steward, DM’s personal Chef, and DM’s personal driver were seen scampering from the Star of California ship to behind the eight foot wall that surrounds DM’s villa compound within the larger compound. DM was quite apparently hunkered in the bunker. For the next hour, DM proved  his recent propaganda videos to be accurate – not a single soul could be seen across the hundreds of acres of  neatly manicured “worker’s paradise.”

I tried to reach DM through phoning his Assistant Lou’s cell phone, but apparently she was instructed by DM not to answer the phone while she was huddled around him with the rest of his personal staff in his walled Villa.

We also called the cell phone of the guard who has been watching former CO Gold (Lisa Allen Shroer) for the two years since her blow.  I instructed the guard to hand the phone to Lisa and she complied.  I told Lisa that JB and I were at the gate ready to escort her out safely. Apparently two years of black dianetics sec checking, isolation, constant electronic and human surveillance had taken its toll and she not so politely declined.  At least she knows she’s got friends when she comes to again.

We asked the D/Sheriff who responded whether he could see about having  JB’s passport handed over.  He gave it a shot. We were informed by the d/sheriff that Warren McShane of RTC was in possession of it, but that he was in Los Angeles. We informed the Sheriff that we’d go to LA and seek out McShane. The Sheriff spoke to McShane on the phone and McShane informed the Sheriff that he was afraid of JB and me and wanted an address to mail the passport to. JB informed the Sheriff that JB’s address IS the Int base, and has been for twenty-seven years. When the Sheriff became exasperated with the c of m tactics, he explained that he could not compel them to comply without a court order and was doing all he could to persuade them to be sensible. We thanked him for his efforts and told him that he was being used in a one of DM’s childish hide and seek games, and we’d pursue other avenues.

While DM’s forces frantically attempt to locate and apply force to us, JB and I are quite effortlessly continuing to disseminate ideas of freedom behind the carefully and expensively contructed walls of force. Seeds are being systematically, yet seemingly randomly,  planted around the world, behind the walls.  Many will inevitably be smothered with RTC herbicide. But, many too will continue to thrive and come to fruition. None will fully die.

Our strategy comes from LRH words that have been posted on this blog before. But, as the old saying goes, the rudiments sometimes bear repetition:

From PDC 10: Specific Parts of Self-determinism, Spacation by L Ron Hubbard:

People recognize that, and although you will see a tremendous tendency on the part of the slave to assume his chains and wear them, and wear more chains if possible, you always have a greater number who in the end will turn on the master.

The masters of the slaves die. They have always died in this universe and they always will, and so may too a universe die.

But the point we are making is simply that force was never any weapon with which to combat reason. And every time force has been applied to reason in this universe force as come the cropper, not reason.

Sooner or later the reason would go around and through because there’s on…force, you see, can’t go through sixteen-foot bastions and barricades. You have this enormous citadel sitting on the high crown of an untouchable mount. And it is garrisoned and provisioned and watered to withstand the siege of centuries. And its garrison is well-trained and well-armed. Not a signle shaft or a bolt or a lightening flash could go through that citadel.

But by the water carrier or some other means an idea can go through the wall of any citadel. When you ask, “what is the strength of this citadel?” you always have to ask “what is the loyalty of this garrison?” That is the other factor, and force was never able to win against it. It could win temporarily, oh, yes, but never completely. Now in a reaction against force, people quite often will assume a no responsibility for the whole universe. That’s going downscale against force.

Want to point out to you that there’s an up scale from force. A high one, and that goes up toward the reasonable thing to do. And people very often, who are trying to go up scale toward the reasonable thing to do, will find themselves caught with specious reasoning and will find themselves dropping down toward the weak thing to do.

Reason which is afraid of force, and reason which exists to keep force from hurting one is not reason. That, too, is a form of slavery. But reason which exists to go up from the level of force must first be able to confront force. Only then can such reason take responsibility for those things which reason alone can produce.

And so you find a society, just before it goes out, taking its last effort to escape force by being reasonable, but that reasonability consists normally of an assumption of slavery of one form or another – not an assumption of freedom. They will lay upon themselves various restrictions and…out of fear.

Now that man who is able to take responsibility for force, yet who does not employ force, is much more terrible than man who can apply force alone. And the man who applies force alone is, of course, much more terrible to a lower scale on the chart than those who can only cluster together in terror and hope that the mass of their numbers will restrain the hand of force.

You want to remember then you’re looking at harmonics, when you’re looking at this on a tone scale. You’ll find groups which cohese solely because they are terrified of force which may be applied to them. And in that cohesion they simply seek protection of the individual by the group.

That group almost never advances. Now that group which can be free in each and every individual matter is yet the only group that can act and reason and with cause. For a group to be cause it must consist of individuals who themselves are cause.

Catch us if you can.

Miscavige’s annihilation of Tom Cruise (part one)

Every picture tells a story, don't it?

In a letter to the St Petersburg Times dated 20 June, 2009 David Miscavige promised to deliver evidence that would cause the annihilation of Mike Rinder, Amy Scobee, Tom Devocht and I.  Nearly a year, and several million dollars  in investigator fees later, Mr. Miscavige has failed to deliver on that promise. Instead, he has been busily carrying on with the insidious, and devilishly effective, annihilation of his “friend” Tom Cruise.

First, some truths from a prominent and powerful man Miscavige has also been attempting to annihilate post-humously for a couple decades now:

Now let’s say you want to stop something You want to stop something — give it things. Give it lots of matter. And the more matter you give it, the slower it will operate. And you want to stop it dead in its tracks, just empty the dump trucks on it. It’ll stop. Just give it things. Give it things that it considers quite desirable — gold watches and … and Cadillacs and mink coats and … The more you give on this, why, the uh…more upsetting it is to this person. And they…they KNOW they want to have these things, they know that, because that’s right, it says right there on Agreement One: “I want to have the MEST universe.” And it…they say they want things — but the more they get of them, the unhappier they get.

And if you want to just get rid of somebody, just completely, start giving them a lot of presents. You’ll  just…you’ll just — bye-bye. You have to exaggerate it quite a bit, but if you were handy at making things so that every…every 15 or 20 minutes, why, they could receive another present, they…they would either run away utterly or die in their tracks.

That’s one of the biggest mistakes that..that women make — or men make — in interpersonal relationships. There’s good and adequate reason for that, by the way…

…And that’s completely contrary to the way the MEST universe is supposed to run. You’re told very carefully, “Now look: if you’re a success, you get an awful lot of stuff. And you have all these things. And you can have these big beautiful homes and you can have all this way, and you can have all that way, and you can be very happy then.”  And actually you can persist in that…you can persist in that delusion, because it’s a completely backwards modus operandi and it doesn’t fit and it won’t work out that way at all. You could persist in that to kid yourself in order to keep yourself in action. But the second you cease to know it’s a pretense, you get in the trap of it.

You actually have to be in a position like this sometimes to have a superfluidity of MEST to find out what it does to you. It’s just fabulous what a lot of MEST can do to you. It makes an awful “MEST” out of you.

Now, these things are then related. And where you see these things cropping up as manias, where you see havingness mounting up and the MEST stacking up all over the place and getting higher and higher and higher, and that is more or less your object and modus operandi, you’re going to get a stop, and where you get stops, you’re going to get destruction. And where you get destruction and stop and so forth, there’s going to be more matter there.

– L. Ron Hubbard, PDC lecture “Cycles of Action”

Now, back to the photo that speaks a thousand words, the three motorcycles beautifully arrayed in front of Miscavige’s $70 million palace.  The Harley in the middle is Dave’s. The two bikes flanking it are Tom’s. What are they doing posing in front of Dave’s palace?

Well, Dave had Sea Org craftsmen and craftswomen spend fifty to seventy-five hours fully disassembling his own motorbike and giving it a custom paint job of a quality perhaps unattainable (and at least prohibitively expensive) by outside labor.  When Tom saw Dave’s bike he was so impressed it gave Dave a bright idea in forwarding his calculated plan to corrupt, stop and destroy Tom.  Dave summonsed his underpaid and over-worked Sea Org labor crew to put in another fifty to seventy-five hours on each of  Tom’s two bikes.

One-hundred and fifty to two-hundred and twenty-five hours of skilled, albeit slave, labor later – voila, another in a series of untold MEST gifts heaped upon a man who once really did have everything, but who under Dave’s program, would soon have too much.

PS: in the event anyone doubts these are Tom’s bikes:

My respects to Malcolm X

May 19th is the birthday of Malcolm X. The life of Brother Malcolm has had a profound effect upon me personally. His autobiography chronicles obvious parallels to our struggle in his discovery that a sect leader had severely corrupted the religion he had devoted his life to defending, and his journey to discover that that religion stood for love rather than hate.

On another level Malcolm did what we are trying to do for our fellows. That is, to straighten up their spines. To make them walk tall in spite of generations of propaganda telling them they should not.

The following passage from The Judas Factor by Karl Evanz recounts how Malcolm even gave  Reverend Martin Luther King a spinal adjustment at a time when he needed it:

…Malcolm was in the visitor’s gallery in the Senate building in Washington, D.C., listening to the heated debate on the proposed Civil Rights Act of 1964. When he returned to the gallery on March 27, he saw three rows in front of him the man he publicly ridiculed but privately admired: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The two men who together symbolized the political conscience of Black America, acknowledged each other by simply nodding with a smile.

(blogger note: the “debate” was in fact a warm up for a  filibuster being organized by Southern Senators in an effort to kill the legislation; a problem Dr. King apparently had no answer for)

Afterward, as Dr. King, the Reverend Ralph Abernathy, and their entourage walked down the steps from the gallery, they noticed Malcolm X was only a few feet in front of them. King had been tremendously impressed by Malcolm X’s recent public statements urging African Americans to vote; the statements implied that Malcolm X believed that democracy could work to the advantage of America’s disenfranchised minorities.

But the SCLC president (King) was probably dismayed by the proviso Malcolm X added to his endorsement of voting, which was that African Americans should combat violence with violence when necessary for self-defense.

The crowd came to a standstill at the bottom of the stairs, and Dr. King and Malcolm X were suddenly standing side-by-side. An Associated Press reporter, stunned by the sight of America’s two foremost black activists conversing – in public no less – asked them if they’d agree to a brief interview. Both readily complied.

the critical moment captured

The reporter asked them whether they had reached any agreements in principle on the direction the civil rights movement should take, and whether Malcolm X considered the Civil Rights Bill important.

“I’m here to remind the white man of the alternative to Dr. King,” Malcolm X said, flashing his trademark Cheshire cat grin. “If the white man rejects the proposed Civil Rights Bill which Dr. King supports, members of the doctor’s organization – and hopefully Dr. King himself – will hopefully coalesce with the Muslim Mosque, Incorporated, in order to effect an end to the racial, social and economic oppression of the black man here in America.”

“How long do you expect the debate to continue?” the reporter asked, facing Dr. King. “A month would be long enough,” King answered sternly. “A creative direct action program will start if they are still talking about the bill after the first week in May.”

What would happen, the reporter wanted to know, if the debate continued beyond that point?

At first,” King replied, “we would seek to persuade with our words –” King paused for effect, and said, “then our deeds.”

The words had an ominous ring, considering that Malcolm X, the man the press often referred to as the ‘angriest Negro in America,’ was standing beside the man known as America’s ‘apostle of nonviolence.’

Then, as if to remove any doubt about the import of his statement, Dr. King made a prediction. “If this bill is not passed,” he warned, “our nation is in for a dark night of social disruption.”

As King and Malcolm X smiled approvingly at each other, with Abernathy standing in the background, photographers captured on film a moment in African American history that FBI Director Hoover interpreted as an act of treason.

(Blogger’s note: Shortly thereafter, President Johnson – the pragmatic Texan he was – began twisting Senators’ arms in private to end the filibuster and pass the legislation. The rest is known history.)

Finally, in honor of Malcolm’s legacy here is the final 8 1/2 minutes of Spike Lee’s film ‘X’, which includes the beautiful eulogy delivered at Malcolm’s funeral by Ossie Davis.

My only comment is reference to L Ron Hubbard’s words from the lecture Overt Acts, Motivators and Deds (lecture #8) Technique 88 Lectures 25 June 1952:

When you speak of the creator, and you’re probably speaking of something entirely different than implanted religion. Religion is always different than truth. It has to be. Because the only way you can control a people is to lie to them. And you can write that down in your book there-very big letters. The only way you can control anybody is to lie to them-lie to them.

All right, now look. When you find an individual is lying to you, you know that the individual is trying to control you. You can put that down. One way or the other, this individual is trying to control you. That’s a mechanism of control. The individual is lying to you, so they’re trying to control you. Because if they give you enough misinformation they’ll throw you far enough down the Tone Scale so they can control you.

Conversely, if you see an impulse on the part of a human being to control you, you know very well that that human being is lying to you. Not is just going to-but IS lying to you. Check up the facts, you’ll find out they’re always true. That person is trying to control you, he’s lying to you. He’s got to tell you lies, in order to continue to control, because the second you start telling anybody anything close to truth, you start releasing him, and he gets tougher and tougher to control.  So you can’t control somebody, without telling them a bunch of fibs.

You’ll find that command has this very often as its greatest weakness.  It’ll try to control instead of lead. And the next thing you know, it’s lying to the crew, lying to the crew lie, lie, lie, lie, lie. And it gets worse and worse, then all of a sudden the thing blows up.

Well religion has done this. Organized religion, tries to control, so therefore it must be lying, and therefore it must know it’s lying-after a while it figures out that even itself knows it’s lying. And then it starts on down the Tone Scale and gets further and further and further and people all of a sudden get down across this spring bottom and-‘Are we going into apathy and die or are we going to revolt?’ And they will revolt. You can only lie to people so long. But fortunately-unfortunately, there’s always a new cycle of lying.

As I use the word religion, it has nothing to do with God.

Reason or Force?

From PDC 10: Specific Parts of Self-determinism, Spacation by L Ron Hubbard:

Anchor Points

We’ve made a tremendous amount of progress in phase one of the game; that  is, de-ptsing ourselves from the dictator and his counter policies. I have sometimes made reference to DM’s GPM (goals-problems-mass), and advised we not get suckered into becoming part of it. There is a St Hill Special Briefing Course lecture (Attacks and GPMs) that I think supports this idea and is very applicable to the current scene.  Here is an excerpt that sums up some mechanics that you might find relevant to your current environment. You might  find it liberating or de-oppressing on one level or another.

From: Attacks and GPMs, 21 Oct 1963:

Now, the whole of life is an interchange if you’re going to live. It’s an interchange — an interchange activity. It’s putting out anchor points. And let’s look at the gradient scale of how you would go about this. Supposing you’re just there all by yourself. And there’s no limitation to your putting out anchor points, right? And you can put out anchor points. There’s no limitation to this. You can put out as many anchor points as you like, you see?

Somebody else shows up and they say, “You shouldn’t put out these anchor points,” or “I want to make some of this — I want to have some of this space too.” And they put out anchor points against your anchor points, so you don’t put out anchor points quite so far, you see? — talking about the Factors, now.

All right, and let’s supposing that every time you put out an anchor point, why, somebody else forbade you to put out the anchor point, and you complied and agreed and didn’t put out your anchor point. How big do you think you would be after a while? That’s about how big you are now.

See, that’s practically the way you got there — the way you got there. There’s nothing quite as disturbing and there’s nothing quite so certain to throw anybody into apathy, is just continue to put out your anchor points. It’s the most disturbing activity that you can engage on. Everybody says, “You mustn’t put out your anchor points,” and you put out your anchor points. Then they give you lots of reasons why you shouldn’t put out your anchor points and you put out anchor points. They bring all sorts of duress to bear on you why you shouldn’t put out your anchor points and you put out anchor points. What’s going to happen to their morale? See?

Now, sometimes it’s very difficult to continue to put out anchor points in this particular way; sometimes you just get cut to ribbons. And it’s those particular times that you got cut to ribbons you tend to remember as lessons not to attack, or lessons not to put out anchor points.

Now, the gradient scale on the thing goes, put out anchor points — in other words, continue to create your space — to attacking that which is preventing you from putting out your space. Now, that’s also putting out anchor points, don’t you see? And you get down along low human levels, and what are you then involved with? You’re involved with attacking those who are preventing you from putting out anchor points. Attacking them.

Now, you go down scale just a little bit further. You start defending yourself against attacks. This causes you to live good, to have good behavior, to have various socially acceptable characteristics — all sorts of things. These things are basically defenses against attacks, direct attacks. Now you can go down scale even further than that: You have the defenses against possible attacks. And this causes people to live in castles and you know, dig moats that nobody will ever think of ever charging against, you see? Invent weapons that have no particular use; invent social characteristics that are impossible to attack.

This causes you, in other words, to go down scale a bit further. Now, there’s further down scale than that: is imagining you are under attack. That you are defending, answers itself out — answers itself out in this wise.

That you are defending yourself — you understand, this is the — now let me point back to you the level of the scale just above this — possible attacks, see? Level — you know, possible attacks. You’re not being attacked, you’re simply preparing yourself to defend possible attacks. See, now just below that there is a point that because there are all these defenses, there therefore must be attacks. You see, it proves itself. Well, you got a moat dug all the way around the place! Obviously, there must be somebody going to ride across that moat.

Some of the screens that a thetan puts up are terribly entrancing. These screens are very, very entrancing, because they leave them up forever. Why did they put them up in the first place? Well, they put them up against a lion. All right, the lion might still be there. See, you would have to take the screen down to find out. You don’t dare take the screen down because you’d be attacked if the lion were still there.

This causes a very funny action. You can get a thetan, you know, a pc, and get him to find one of these black screens and get him to pick up one little corner of it and peek around it real fast and it reads — sometimes he’ll really have to get his nerve up to do it. And he will. He’ll see something like a mocked up lion or a snake or something on the other side of the black screen.

See, one of his answers of confronting is cover it up so he can’t — won’t have to confront it, you see, black it out. There is the final — final mechanism of a defense. Permanent defenses lead to a belief that one is under attack. When you get way down scale, you — it’s — must be that you’re under attack because there’s the defenses. Somebody must be ready to launch the rockets at you any moment because, heh! Here are all these radars waiting to detect them. And of course, the more one defends the less one becomes mobile — one is less and less mobile. So therefore, actually, he never gets out to look.

He never goes out to look, to see if there are any attackers. And I imagine there are nations on planets someplace in this galaxy, at this very moment, who have no neighbors but who believe implicitly that those neighbors are there with full armies ready to attack them; and that live a life of complete defense, complete immobility, never going abroad, carrying through all of the various survival activities, to them, to prevent an attack against nations which are no longer there, that have long since gone to dust.

A GPM, in essence, is such a mechanism. One has a defense up against an area of confusion. He has a stable datum all arranged to take care of an area of confusion that has long since ceased to exist. Thetan eventually traps himself.

The GPMs then are a long history of all of the things which ever attacked him, and those things might now be gone.

Now, consider the flip side. I was out at the Int base a couple weeks ago. The most noticeable change since my residing there was this: about fifty feet inside the electronic, razor wired security perimeter fence, DM had built a ten to fifteen foot fortess-looking wall around his villas compound. That is where his living quarters and VIP guest quarters are now located. A fortress within a fortress. Interesting.

I suggest our best direction is to just keep putting anchor points out.

Neglected heros – Staff of Scientology Orgs

By Mike Rinder

One of the tragedies of the reign of Miscavige is the utter disregard for staff well-being.

There have been LRH orders extant since the late 70’s to resolve staff pay.  He identified it as a major reason for orgs not expanding and later as a key block to accomplishing the objective of LRH ED 339R – Saint Hill Size Orgs.

If you cannot afford to live as a staff member, you either moonlight or leave staff. Many dedicated individuals have joined staff thinking that they would be able to contribute to expanding the org and as a result, make a viable living through staff.  But the problem is the finance system that orgs are forced to operate on leaves so little for staff pay that even when the org grows, the percentage of income devoted to staff pay is so small, and so much comes “off the top” that the increase in the number of staff needed to deliver what is required to sustain increased income simply divides the staff pay sum by more people. There is a fault in the SYSTEM. It’s well known.

Why didn’t this ever change if LRH said it should?  Back in the early 80’s there was a project called “The Staff Pay Project”.  It was not completed before LRH went off the lines. And from that time forward, Miscavige has had literally hundreds of submissions on staff pay, none of which he would approve. There are probably hundreds of pages of transcripts of rambling meetings Miscavige had with International Management and Finance personnel (back in the “good old days” when they were nominally on post) where he pontificated at length about what should be done. Problem is (as others have described) the “direction” that he gave was invariably confusing and often times contradictory. And then any submission to him would be rejected because it didn’t “comply” with some line in a 50 page transcript of his ramblings.  Tens of thousands of hours of executive time have been spent M9ing the endless transcripts from DM, then putting together submissions to him attempting to satisfy all his dictates (literally an impossible task as one day he would say one thing and then the next it would be the opposite). So, why isn’t there a workable staff pay system? Because to this day Miscavige refuses to put one out. (In case someone out there saw a Staff Pay system in 2004 that was “done personally by COB” that he PR’d as being a solution to staff pay, I ask you – did it work?

THE CANCER OF THE IAS

There is a second problem with staff pay:  the takeover and dominance of Scientology by the IAS and the proliferation of building and library donations. Funds channeled into these endless sinkholes do not go on the regular org GI and Financial Planning lines. So, funds that could be being donated for services (which are part of the org GI and FP) are being siphoned off.  Miscavige doesn’t want to interrupt these Condition 0 Exchange activities (after all, all you need to “deliver” for a hundred thousand donated to the IAS is a pin, a trophy and some imbecilic title). You can’t increase staff pay or build orgs while still having the IAS as the “senior organization” in Scientology. Hence, Miscavige’s decision was easy, if shortsighted: pour the coals on the IAS and org staff be damned.

Just as an aside on the IAS – it is a Third Dynamic engram by definition. It was an arbitrary implemented at one time to solve the problem of creating an untouchable pool of money out of the reach of the IRS that could be used to pay off the IRS if they did not grant the Church tax exempt status. After 1993, it had served its purpose and should have been disbanded and the public should have been informed that it was no longer needed.  But, by that time it was a cash cow for Miscavige that was too good to discard, no matter the havoc it would wreak on organizations.

If you have read the LRH article “What Your Fees Buy” you will be familiar with the fact that LRH intended the fees for SERVICES to not only support the local organization, but to fund the defense of the religion, to finance projects to bring LRH tech into different sectors of society and to promote Dianetics and Scientology.  Following are quotes from “What Your Fees Buy”:

It costs money to bring cases up to the US Supreme Court level as we have. The legal defense expenses we have in a dozen countries is not small.

So a portion of your fee goes to keeping the subject available to you and to the world.

Your fee supports a long and complex set of communication lines by which tech and admin can be cared for rapidly.

A portion of your fee just the other day began a survey of a backward country to introduce high speed educational processes to bring their people quickly from the Stone Age up to present time. The “Peace Corps” was also there on cushy government funds building houses for a big construction company at a nice profit. But we, unsupported, began the effective work actually needed there to help the people.

A tiny bit of your fee neated up an area ruined for the Americans by the American Navy.

Small parts of your fee heal up a lot of things over the world.

But the biggest part of your fee stays right in your area. It is used to make training and processing and data available to the next fellow first by keeping the org there and second by letting him know about it and third by making as sure as possible that the training and processing he gets is standard and effective.

Your fee keeps the nearest org alive and functioning and the environment safe.

Anyone who has ever been approached by an IAS reg will find a lot of this eerily familiar.  This is exactly what those IAS regges say the money is being spent on.  So, one may ask, if this is what the money is being spent on WHY HAVENT THE COST OF SERVICES BEEN REDUCED? And as a side note – IAS funds are ONLY spent when Miscavige wants them spent. Those massive “campaigns” that are announced at the IAS events have a few bucks thrown at them to show at the event, and then they die, and just to dispel another lie that has been repeated forever, the IAS had NOTHING to do with “The Battle of Portland,” NO IAS funds were ever used for legal, PR or Crusade activities.

Instead of pouring the coals on LRH’s purpose and LRH ED 339R by having the correct single finance channel (through orgs) and making it possible for our staffs to live by implementing the appropriate staff pay system, Miscavige diverted and channeled those funds to the IAS, his off-source ideal org strategy or his latest and “greatest” scheme leaving staff destitute and orgs bereft of the energy they so vitally needed.

THE FINAL NAIL IN THE COFFIN OF STAFF

But there was something beyond even that.  LRH ED 339R was written FOR STAFF.  It gave them the Birthday Game and the target of building their org to the Size of Old St Hill. And something else in 339R was even MORE IMPORTANT.

LRH knew that an average staff member could not attain OT.   Even if they received enough staff pay to be able to live, they still would not have enough disposable income to pay for OT levels.  And many could not afford to go off to LA or Copenhagen or St Hill for months to do their OT levels – their posts would suffer.  He had a brilliant solution – the UNIVERSE CORPS. It made it possible for staff to be real Scientologists and achieve the gains of the OT Levels. LRH ED 339R says that EVERY org that reaches the size of Old St Hill would be rewarded with a Universe Corps sent from Management that would move all staff in the org up to Clear and through the OT Levels. It wasn’t something available to public, it was a reward for the dedication of being a staff member. Right in their own org they would be able to do the OT Levels. This was a massive change. Never before had OT levels been available outside AOs.

But, there was a problem. This required training staff and sending them out to the orgs.

And of those orgs back in the day that were awarded St Hill Size – Tokyo, Orange County, LA Org, Tampa, Hamburg, Munich, Joburg etc. – how many of them do you think have a Universe Corps today? When they were sent (some orgs back then actually had a Universe Corps) they were soon ripped off. Tampa were told that their “Universe Corps” was the FSO!

And today? LRH ED 339R is forgotten. Replaced by Miscavige’s Idle Org strategy. Perfect. Idle Orgs don’t require stats. And certainly don’t require a Universe Corps. They don’t require a Management to recruit and train a Universe Corps.  Idle Orgs – Miscavige’s brilliant solution that buries 339R (and the staff along with it) under a pile of PR bullshit. LRH ED 339R is a distant memory, along with the concept that an org is a friendly place where people can find help and like-minded individuals, not just a gathering place for vulture regges waiting to pounce on anyone who walks in the door.

Where has the compassion for people that is the very hallmark of LRH and his technology gone? It’s sure hard to find in the Church of Mestology.

The healing game

Regular commenter Virgil Samms submitted the following wise observations in italics below. My additional observations and opinions follow in regular text:

From: Science of Survival, Pg 338.

“There are, one could say, four distinct sources of aberration. The first is occasioned by phrases in engrams which specifically dictate certain obsessions, compulsions, repressions, delusions, neurosis, and psychoses. Such phrases, however, have command value on the analyzer, which does not know they exist below it in the reactive mind, only to the degree that the case is charged with entheta. …

“Therefore, there is a second type of aberration source which is simply the amount of charge there is on the case. This might be called mechanical aberration. It does not stem from specific commands but stems from mental inefficiency by reason of cumulative entheta….

“The third kind of aberration is environmental and is the result of aberrated persons and situations in the individual’s present time environment. This is normally temporary, but cumulative environmental entheta has a chronic effect in the case. …

“The fourth type of aberration is educational, being the cumulative entheta of the culture in which the preclear was raised, the irrationality and bad data he has received as a result of his education – by parents, in schools and by experience.” – L Ron Hubbard

The first type is, of course, handled by auditing out the engrams.

The second type is handled with destimulation, auditing, assists, word clearing and so forth.

But paying attention to the third and fourth kinds of aberration explains being in the Sea Org from the 80’s forward. The amount of entheta was unbearable but I also found myself dramatizing the aberrations that now seem to all stem from DM. I want to point out to the people who post on your blog that there is a good chance of there being cumulative amounts of this type of entheta on their case. This is handled by looking at the truth in what was and is there in the Sea Org.

We all know that we found what we had been looking for to solve our own questions as to our unique existence on this planet and what was happening on this planet. Ron explained ARC=U to us and we were suddenly Understanding that our heretofore behavior was wrong and needed to change. We found TRs and learned how to communicate properly to another being. Then we practiced ARC with our TRs and life was sweet because we were treating others with respect and dignity and received the same in kind.

Then we got onto staff in order to salvage this planet and we ran into heaping amounts of entheta. The dichotomy was this: The closer we got to the top of the org board the crazier life became until we found ourselves doubting whether we were suppressive or not.

But look at what LRH intended for us to be like and then what you envisioned yourself to be like. Then throw away what you were socially and educationally taught in the Sea Org. Sure we all learned to be tough and how to get products and all of that, but there is a way to be tough and in ARC. Read HCO PL Ethics Presence and look at what he is saying there. He is talking about ARC! DM was NEVER in ARC. He might have acted like it but I know I never got a warm fuzzy feeling around the man.

Understand, there are the 3rd and 4th types of aberrations as per the above and understand that we have gotten a lot of aberration from the Sea Org and from being on staff or just plain being a public at FSO going OT.

Virgil has made some powerful and truthful observations in my estimation. I think you can add to the resolution of all of those types of aberration the three valid therapies. Those are change of environment, exercise-nutrition-health, and education. Don’t ever forget the powers of those. You don’t need a formal auditor, you don’t need a formal org, you don’t need a formal anything to get inestimable gain from the application of the three valid therapies.

Virgil cites from Science of Survival. I highly recommend reading, or re-reading, that text as fullfillment of the education step, or as a therapy in and of itself. If one fully grasps the theta-mest theory set forth in SOS, one can very neatly consolidate one’s gains attained through the 3D engram running we are all engaged upon, the three valid therapies, and whatever other therapy – formal or informal – each of us may engage in. The more enturbulated theta one frees – BY WHATEVER MEANS – the more free theta one enjoys and commands, and thus the more entheta one can disenturbulate. Of course, that process continually increases one’s store of free theta. It begins to work like an ascending spiral – sort of like the dwindling spiral in reverse.

Thanks Virg.

Two Very Essential Rights

Here are some thoughts to consider in the establishment of rights of community. The following excerpts are from Philadelphia Doctorate Course lecture #10 Specific Parts of Self-determinism, Spacation.

“For a thetan there are two very essential rights: One is the right to his own sanity, and the other is the right to leave a game…”

“…Probably the hardest thing a man has to take is when he has to enslave himself to something which is not of his own choice and permits himself to be placed in time and space not of his own choice…”

“…Two very essential rights, and that is: the right to his own sanity, and the right to leave a game, which boils down to the right to have an exertion of self-determinism, and the right to locate himself in some other universe if he suddenly chooses to.

“It’s all right for people to have a right, but if they don’t have the capability, the right is meaningless. So the right depends to some extent, in any case, upon an education about the right. Well, therefore, you restore these things – you get freedom, and that’s what we’re trying to do. And you should ask yourself, once in a while, when you’re processing preclears, are you sending them in that direction? If you’re sending them in that direction, you’re being very successful.”

Seems to me this is a great index to use to determine whether one is delivering or receiving Scientology processing or Reverse Scientology. Is the processing being delivered with the intention and toward the direction of clarifying and strengthening these rights?

Whether one formally recieves or delivers processing or not, I think these two essential rights ought to be validated and honored in our dealings with one another. It is a handy index. Does your third dynamic encourage sanity? That is, does it assist you to better percieve differences, similarities and identities? Or does it attempt to dull such perception by continually forcing upon you propaganda that requires you to check your perceptions at the door? And when your personal integrity is being so tried, is the felony compounded by discouragement of your right to leave a game, or to relocate yourself?
