Has Miscavige’s “church” Run Out of Clears to Invalidate?

David Miscavige’s level of desperation is apparently red lining, as evidenced by this OSA operative email received by Monique “Mosey” Rathbun yesterday.

email:

Dear Mosey,

Per the below HCOB your state of “clear”, as declared by Mar-tey,
is hereby CANCELLED!

HUBBARD COMMUNICATIONS OFFICE
Saint Hill Manor, East Grinstead, Sussex
HCO BULLETIN OF 5 MARCH 1979RB
REVISED 2 DECEMBER 1985

DIANETIC CLEAR FALSE DECLARES

Any org staff declaring a Dianetic Clear “achieved in other
practices” is subject to expulsion from the Church.

Technically, a very few thetans have never been anything but Clear.
These few didn’t “go Clear” on anything; they have simply always
been Clear. When a natural Clear is found, it should be so stated.
To assign this condition to some other practice is a suppression of
Dianetics and Scientology.

Anyone evaluating for or feeding a preclear data to persuade him to
declare Dianetic Clear is also actionable.

Anyone suppressively validating squirrel practices or groups by
stating they are producing Dianetic Clears is also actionable as
above, as it is not possible. It requires the exact application of
Scientology and Dianetics technology to bring a preclear up to the
state of Clear, whether on NED after Grades or on the Clearing
Course.

Falsely declaring a person Clear who isn’t and failing to declare
one who made it on Dianetics or the Clearing Course or who has
always been Clear are also actionable.

In the event of a false attest, the C/S, Director of Validity and
any other org staff involved in the cycle are subject to a
Committee of Evidence and, if found guilty, are subject to
suspension of all certs. (Ref: HCO PL 7 Mar. 65 II, CERTIFICATE
CANCELLATION)

People don’t go Clear in garbage eating or psychiatry – they
perish. Thus, herding people into their hands by falsely validating
them is suppressive.

Any and all such false declares are cancelled.

L. RON HUBBARD
Founder

End of email.

It occurred to me that, according to this very reference, if anyone should be de-certified and declared suppressive it ought to be Miscavige; dozens, if not hundreds, of times over. First, there is the wild pendulum swings, from arbitrary declarations of Clear where not evidenced (e.g. Lisa McPherson, himself, etc), to the other end of the spectrum, the hundreds of Clears he has de-Cleared arbitrarily. In fact, it goes beyond even that. The organizations he has created are prohibited from declaring Clears or undeclaring them no matter what the circumstance because they are in violation of these specific provisions of the cited HCOB:

Any org staff declaring a Dianetic Clear “achieved in other practices” is subject to expulsion from the Church.

Anyone suppressively validating squirrel practices or groups by stating they are producing Dianetic Clears is also actionable as above, as it is not possible.

People don’t go Clear in garbage eating or psychiatry – they perish. Thus, herding people into their hands by falsely validating them is suppressive.

Mosey’s immediately composed and sent reply to the above email highlights just how far off the deep end Miscavige has gone:

Thank you for your eval. But I keep telling you church people I am not, nor will I ever be, a member of your so called church. I have no interest whatsoever! Therefore, you do not have any power to cancel anything on me. Am I making myself crystal CLEAR?? Why don’t you go find one of your church members and run your non-clear r factor, because it has no effect here. Unless you guys have completely run out of church members to run it on.

How Miscavige Killed Church Management

In January 1996 when I returned to the Int Base after two years of tech training at the Ship and Flag, Miscavige was well in progress on annihilating church management.

First, Miscavige was in the process of  busting Marc Yager off CO CMO INT/WDC Chairman and spent three years attempting to turn the man into a mouse.

Second, Miscavige had nearly all those who remained in Int Managment working on an evolution as massive in content and as destructive in result as Golden Age of Tech.  In his Stalinesque style Miscavige dubbed it New Era of Management. Like GAT, NEM consisted of endless binders of  Miscavige written and/or directed and approved material. Just as GAT forever altered and replaced LRH tech, NEM forever altered and buried LRH admin.

Miscavige had teams of key executives for Upper Middle Management (Int Liaison Office which he had previously dubbed Flag Command Bureaux which was originally back in the day of LRH called the Flag Bureau) and for every Continental management office up at Int Base for months preparing to fire to implement his grand NEM scheme in one, sudden, implant-like fashion.   Those involved in that evolution are well represented here and I am sure can fill in some of the details of their engramic several month Q and A “briefing” period.  If the “trainees” or “Missionaires in briefing” learned anything it was these two lessons that were implanted with an atomic branding iron:

a)  Miscavige and his NEM issues were senior to LRH and his virtual books (in the form of Flag Orders and Central Bureau Orders and OEC) on management.

b) Scientology did not exist at the International Scientology Headquarters.

Third, the international tech heirarchy was effectively made leaderless by the busting of Ray Mithoff from the post of Senior C/S Int.  Oh,he retained the title, but he was made a mere figurehead (just as Heber had been made as President CSI and Guillaume as ED Int as early as the eighties).  Dan Koon was put on as Snr C/S Int Chief – administrative head of the Snr CS Int Office. Once DM effectively dead agented Ray with all Int tech terminals (including his own Snr CS Int office) Dan was posted elsewhere – and Ray from thereon out was nothing more than a figurehead (Note: Dan had no knowledge and played no part in the Miscavige Op – Dan is the last person in the world who would engage in denigrating a person into oblivion).

Next Miscavige appointed Mark Ingber as CO CMO INT/WDC Chairman.  Through continual barrages of verbal cross orders to not only LRH, but even to his own NEM, plus beatings and invalidation, Miscavige soon destroyed Ingber.

Miscavige replaced Ingber with Jenny Linsen Devocht.  Through the same methods that he had destroyed Yager and Ingber, sans the beatings, he destroyed Jenny.

Miscavige replaced Linsen with Wendell Reynolds of Int Finance Dictator fame.  But Wendell soon went the route of the other who preceeded him.

By the time Miscavige had made mincemeat of that troika, Yager had graduated the RPF (1999) and he was thrown back into the fire.  By then,  CMO Int and Exec Strata were choked by so many restrictions (such as no evals allowed; no programs that did not push NEM and Golden Age of Tech allowed) that International Management had become a mere functionless title.  To ensure no management would emanate from Int, Miscavige assigned the entire Int Base lower conditions from which they never were allowed to emerge.  Yager was declared SP, as were a number of Interntional managers, as were Mike Rinder (while WDC OSA) and I (while on the post of IG), as were a number of other Int base execs; all ordered by Miscavige, all while we continued to occupy our posts.

By the year 2000, Scientology Management was dead.

The proof of the pudding is the current scene.  Here it is in a nutshell:

Marc Yager is still holds the title CO CMO INT/WDC Chairman.  But there is no CMO INT nor WDC, with the exception of Angie Blankenship who holds WDC Ideal Orgs. But Angie doesn’t answer to Yager; she reports and answers to Miscavige.  Yager has been reduced to being a preps boy (culling pc folders and ethics folders at Int to find lurid details on the likes of us) for Dan Sherman (LRH Biographer) to write “freedom mags” and the myriad anti-Marty sites OSA has its operatives pretend spontaneously appear.

Yager does not even report to Miscavige, because Miscavige cannot look at him without leaping at him and pummeling him to a pulp every time he is in his sight. So, Jenny Linsen (whose post title is D/CO Production CMO INT) actually forwards and all communication between Miscavige and her nominal senior Yager.

Miscavige bypasses whatever is left between Int Liaison Office (Upper Middle Management) and Continental Liaison Offices and orgs by directly running every CO CMO Cont.  That is right, he receives weekly reports routed directly to COB RTC from each CO CMO.  The reports report on stats for each continent and org (as in Ship, FSO, PAC) where each CMO unit is located.  Miscavige then whips out his dictaphone and rattles off weekly orders to the CO CMO’s on a purely stimulus-response basis.  And that is what he calls management. Anyone with the slightest training or understanding of LRH FO and CBO and HCOPL tech recognizes that I do not exagerate when I say that management has long since died, and there is no such thing as management any more.  There may be bodies at the CSI Management building at Hollywood and Ivar, and there may be bodies in CLOS, but per HCO PL Danger Conditions, Why Organizations Stay Small – with such long term and thorough bypass, they do not in fact exist.

To exacerbate matters Miscavige utterly bypasses Snr CS Int Office, Tech and Qual bureaus Int and Cont, and even tech heirarchies of orgs such a FSSO and FSO and AOs by virtue of running all tech matters through his RTC rep NW.  They too write weekly reports to Miscavige and he replies to each one – when he is not too busy skiing, scuba diving, or attending premieres with celebrity pals.  Most of those reps have never audited a single grade on another person, nor even C/S’d a person up a single grade or level of the Bridge.

RTC at Int is reduced to nothing but service facilities for Miscavige – communicators, secretaries, mail clerks, stewards, maids, chefs, etc – and Warren McShane who handles “Legal”.   Incidentally, some wonder why OSA has become a toothless shadow of a network.  That too is answered by HCO PL, Danger Conditions.  DM and Warren have bypassed them, directly hiring and running an outside intelligence apparatus to “monitor” my “activities.”   And they are incompetent beyond belief.  Meanwhile whenever OSA does through blood, sweat and tears establish an intelligence line in my general vicinity, Miscavige blows it by ordering some knee-jerk (completely stimulus-response)  “expose” on Marty and Mike; expose’s that are so thoroughly chock-full of embellishment and lies they have zero impact.   And so,  the last thing Miscavige used to be able to rely upon (a network that at least could make people afraid of him) has also been decimated by Miscavige himself.

By the way, since the late nineties the one corporate and ecclesiastical post that could anything about this state of affairs technically has been usurped also by Miscavige. The CO Church of Spiritual Technology (CST, which holds an option to shut down and take over RTC’s function in the event of this level of departure from RTC purpose and function) Russ Bellin had been Miscavige’s project manager for such important matters as the Mark VIII E-meter that has been rotting in a warehouse for five years (and will likely remain there forever), and building unbelievably expensive CD and transcript productions lines (which are largely superfluous in this day of downloadable audio and video).  That all ended a couple of years ago when Miscavige (as is his habit) decided everything Russ did (that had been heavily promoted by Miscavige as being the only competent products on his lines) were all Overt Products (even though Miscavige publicly basks in the glory of them to this day).  Miscavige busted Russ to Int Finance Director, after he found out the previous IFD (Wendell Reynolds) had secretly financed the blow of an Int Staff member (God bless Wendell after all).

Russ got tired of  two years in the hole and this past spring made a break for it.   Unfortunately, his foot kicked the fence on his way over, and he was quickly apprehended and returned by Gold Security.

Miscavige has kept CST in check by a loophole he found in LRH’s estate planning that sought to guard against Miscavige’s type of destrcutive dictatorship.  That is, CST officers and directors must remain in good standing with the mother church CSI in order to qualify for remaining in CST.  DM controls CSI with an iron fist, and the moment anyone in CST shows the slightest sign of stepping out of line, why, Miscavige simply arranges their dismissal from CST into a lower corporation like CSI – as he did with Bellin.

Perhaps all this sheds more light on why I have no hesitancy in pronouncing the church’s death.

This true state of affairs is why I have been directing my attention more and more towards the future.

Worrying about the church, or hoping for its salvage, is a collossal waste of time and energy.

It is dead.

Survey: What Impinges — Results

by Mike Rinder

I recently posted a survey designed to discover what caused people to stop supporting the Church of Miscavology and what current Scientologists are disaffected about.

Many responded on Steve Hall’s website, many more sent private emails. Thanks to everyone who participated. There were enough sordid stories to keep a horror movie fan occupied for nights on end.

The responses may be helpful in reaching out to others. They are summarized below.

First, what impinged on you to start looking (there were 3 questions designed to get these answers and I have combined the results – of course this totals more than 100% as there was no limit on the number of things anyone could mention).

Not too surprisingly. OUT TECH was the most common response. Of the 68% who answered with this, most said it was problems with Clear or being sent back to re-do steps on the Bridge.

64% said it was the VULTURE CULTURE that shoved them out the door. More horror stories of late night reg visits, money being taken off account without permission, absolutely no concern for Bridge progress – just relentless and incessant “Give me your money. All of it. Now. Take a loan and give me more.”

The next highest percentage (36%) was squirrel ETHICS/INJUSTICES. Many mentioned being on the other end of an ethics cycle where the Church protected a big contributor in direct violation of standard policy.

35% said they saw Tommy Davis or the wicked witches LYING on TV or read the over-the-top Freedom Mags. Its always good to know what a great job the C of M PR machine does to swell the ranks of those who see the real truth.

And Dear Leader’s IDEAL ORG strategy apparently only fools some of the people some of the time because 33% said they saw the lies as they had been in the orgs and knew they weren’t expanding, in spite of what the Chairman of Bullshit was trying to shove down their throats.

25% also said they saw the INTERNET and various write-ups/KRs from Mary Jo, Jason Beghe, Haydn, Jeff, Sherry, Geir, Paul Haggis etc usually after seeing a MEDIA report

And the other main answers were — the disappearance of management terminals in the church, seeing Dear Leader pretending to be Source or just being himself up close and personal (“unlikable” is the polite term), being forced to read “the Basics”, forced disconnection, mistreatment of staff, and the Glittery Age of Tech Alteration. And just one other noteworthy point – one in twenty said the behavior of Tom Cruise made them start looking for the truth.

Now, these responses were interesting, but the real eye opener was: “What things do you know from personal experience are sources of upset from on-lines current Scientologists? (What have you heard others say — not just suspect).”

This question may have gotten the single most uniform response I have ever seen on a survey.

90% (the other 10% were people who said they didn’t speak to anyone currently in the church so had no answer!) said current Scientologists are upset about the VULTURE CULTURE.

 This broke down as follows:

Crush regging/IAS creating dangerous environment/no interest expressed in Bridge progress only where is your money/endless phone calls – 62%

Prices (mostly cost to do endless OT 7 sec checks) – 17%

Mandatory events/briefings which are actually just reg events – 11%

There were other answers about out tech, disconnection, injustices, Ideal Orgs, no delivery, GAT/Basics, the impossibility of reporting outnesses internally, lies at events and how it doesn’t add up to what is seen in the orgs – but there is a button that is guaranteed to hit home with current church members: REGGING.

And more specifically, regging for the IAS/Org Buildings.

This opens a BIG door. Many have commented in the past that the way to get someone in the church to look is give them an LRH reference. Of course, there is no LRH reference for the IAS or the Ideal Org “strategy” so its hard to show an omitted.

But there is one LRH reference that is exactly on point.  It is something you don’t see referred to in the C of M these days, though it used to be broadly promoted. It is a magazine article LRH wrote in 1970 entitled What Your Fees Buy (title was changed later to What Your Donations Buy because fees sounded too commercial). Because this is such an important issue, the full text is made available on Steve’s website at http://www.scientology-cult.com/knowledge-center/419-what-your-fees-buy.html. You will not find it in the OEC or Tech Vols.

To summarize the salient points – LRH says he knows Dianetics and Scientology services should be free and wishes they were so. But what you pay for SERVICES has to cover all manner of expenses as Scientology receives no government handouts. Your fees cover the cost of providing the services (the buildings and staff), the support for Sea Org Management, legal defense and PR, eradicating psychiatry and planetary suppression and implementing 4th dynamic programs to help society. You can now show to any Scientologist what LRH says your fees for SERVICES cover.

Of course Dear Leader, finder of lost tech and stalwart of On Sauciness, has thrown this LRH reference out the window. What the hell, its “inconvenient” to current plans. So, let’s lose it – after all, I am the lost tech king, and it’s good to be the King!.

Today Scientologists are expected to pay the IAS, the Ideal Orgs, CCHR, ABLE and WISE before you buy services. And even if you run that gauntlet and make it to a normal reg, they will try to sell you another set of Basic books or ACCs for your garage storage or to donate to libraries before they show any interest in actually moving you up the Bridge.

But, the picture inside the Vulture Culture is even grimmer. While Scrooge McDuckage sits on his ever growing mountain of gold the subject is going to hell in a handbasket.  That mountain is well in excess of a billion dollars – and if someone wants proof of the orders of magnitude, see the IAS 25th anniversary Impact Mag listing ONLY those who  attained new Patron statuses just for the event – it totals $92 million. That does not include anyone who has ever become a Patron Gluteus Maximus or any other status at any other time, or annual or lifetime memberships. How much do you think the IAS has sucked out over 25 years?

Now, here is where the depravity really comes in. Dear Leader has become a broken record about how his “Ideal Orgs” are the only thing that will accomplish planetary clearing. In fact, he has conditioned the release of the mythical OT IX and X on all orgs becoming “Ideal”. And of course, an “Ideal Org” is a MEST item, not a Saint Hill size org. A lavish building. It’s why all the vultures circle – to get the MONEY to buy and renovate the building in order to make another “Ideal Org”. You cannot be an Ideal Org unless you have a new fancy building including the “Fully Automated Robot Television™ Public Divisions” (FART).

So here is the burning question every Scientologist should be asking.

If you could actually handle this planet and move people on to the highest OT levels (people who have been waiting for 20 years) by creating Ideal Orgs everywhere – why not BUY THEM FROM THE BILLION+ DOLLARS YOU ALREADY HAVE? (Granted, Dear Leader doesn’t let on how much money he has, but any blind bat with a calculator could read the IAS glitzfest mags and see the orders of magnitude)

If there are 100 orgs needing buildings (and there are certainly NOT more than that as there hasn’t been a new org in 20 years) and you allocated $5 million to each (which will buy and renovate a palace in most cities where there are orgs all the most expensive cities except Tokyo and Paris are done), that’s only half a billion? Wouldn’t even use half of McDuckage’s mound of gold (and just think of the massive income those orgs would generate, flourishing and prospering as they would be AND Dear Leader would still own all the property!) So, why not do this to save the planet?

Because it is predicated on a HUGE lie. These buildings do NOT make an org that flourishes and prospers. They send 50 Sea Org Missionaires to force some stats out of thelatest ones for a video and the majority languish below make-break point. Invite anyone to visit the original pilot Ideal Org – the one everyone else is supposed to pattern their expansion on: Buffalo. It’s a small and failing, empty org in a lavish, oversized and now rundown building. Or stop by San Francisco where teenage bodyrouters in Girl Guide uniforms will entice you into the org to give you free energy saving lightbulbs and then try to convince you to take a FART tour. Or, or, or.

But, I am afraid, it is even worse than this. Dear Leader is seeing that his sales pitch is starting to wear thin. It is becoming obvious as more and more “Ideal Buildings” are bought that this is NOT clearing the planet. So, what’s the new line of the vulture culture?  Donate to the IAS so they can make a stable planet so we can build Ideal Orgs!!! Whatever happened to making a safe planet through delivery of Scientology? That’s what LRH said.

So, you want to impinge on those who are still blinded by the bs?  Hit them where THEIR BPC is boiling. And give them an LRH reference, and some logic that cannot be denied, because it all comes right out of Dear Leader’s mouth and his publications.

And hopefully enough people can be woken up before what was formerly known as the Church of Scientology becomes just a bunch of empty palaces with the only sign of “life” being the hollow sound of videos reverberating off the perfectly decorated walls.

The Legacy of the Tech

For the past several days I’ve been sharing some thoughts. To some it evidently sounded like reactive venting. In fact, for the past two weeks, and throughout this thought-sharing period, I have been auditing others and solo auditing daily and I believe I have been expressing emotion appropriate to the circumstances I face. While I meant everything I wrote, I was also conducting a differentiation drill and a roll call or sorts. The former is important from time to time in order to pursue the larger goal successfully. A number of OSA Intelligence Black Ops lines were revealed and rendered ineffective in the process. Further, one learns in Scientology training and practice that the biggest lie in this universe is that we are all one – all the same – a=a=a. People who day in and day out promote the idea that we are all the same, we are all headed in the same direction, and thus every misdirected entheta attempt to cave people in is A-Ok, are on a more subtle level accomplishing the same goal as Miscavige’s.

The latter (roll call) came to me from an LRH Guardian’s Office Order, later converted to an OSA NW Order, in which he told of the Swedes’ success in World War Two to illustrate and convey the datum: small groups, well organized, and with a higher purpose can defeat the largest and best armed armies. You don’t survive a billion dollar war machine directed at your head by holding hands and singing Kumbaya.

I extend a heartfelt thanks to those who answered the call on back channels as well as here.

For those upset that I am not issuing orders, realize I am not trying to create followers. I am trying to create leaders. Originated, effective action that aligns with shared purpose is what is called for.

I truly believe that for any of us to make it we must as individuals walk through the valley of the shadow of death alone. Only through that process can one be certain of his or her own state of case, untainted by a 1.1 cult culture organized to create cloying, unquestioning followers. Those who have gone through that experience in life are those whose counsel I most value.

I know this sounds esoteric and vague to some, and blasphemous to others. But, I think that is partly due to residual left over from the C of M implantation of Reverse Scientology. The group think that says we must have a certain structure, we must have clear-cut direction from above, we must have a hierarchy that tells us which way is up, we cannot entertain an independent thought – and Lord forbid, a created thought that does not align with what we have been told we must know in order to conduct our lives properly.

As far as what Scientology can achieve and where it leads, I happen to agree with LRH’s description of LOGIC ONE (from the PDC):

Now in view of the fact that Scientology is the science of knowing how to know, we have to have some definition of knowledge. Now these logics as they are written here have to be rewritten slightly for the echelon of Scientology in which we are operating, which is to say the make-break of universes.

Logic One is knowledge as a whole group. There are lists of these around, in these various books. Knowledge as a whole group or subdivision of a group of data or speculations and conclusions on data or methods of gaining data. That pins knowledge down as data. And that’s true for homo sapiens. And that is true for the type of logic homo sapiens uses.

That does not happen to be the highest level of knowledge. The highest level of knowledge is the potential of – it’s an action definition – the potential of knowing how to know. And that consists of simply the potential of knowing how to know. I’m sorry, but that’s all there is to it. And how do you know? Well, in order to know how to know you have to be free to postulate knowledge. And the freedom to postulate knowledge creates the data which then arranges itself as bodies of knowledge. So, you want to know what your highest echelon of knowledge possibly could be? It would probably be complete freedom to make the postulate to form any datum or group of data without even making the postulate to do so.

And that would be knowing how to know. So Logic One should be rewritten: Knowing how to know is the definition of the highest level of knowingness. And that level of knowingness is the freedom to state a postulate which then can become knowledge. Now that’s very simple.

The church of Scientology, by its actions every day, condems this LRH statement of purpose for the entire subject as the worst kind of heresy.

I have been working steadily and will continue to along the following lines in order to make the attainment of that statement of purpose possible:

  1. Differentiate the subject of Scientology from the Church of Scientology.
  2. Differentiate L Ron Hubbard from David Miscavige.
  3. Sort out confusions in the murky 81-pt period as to what is Scientology and what are clever alterations intended to reverse its potential.  Despite what some vehemently assert – and rather accusastively toward those actually working to sort it out – LRH Tech compilations were many years behind LRH’s advices for updates (see Joe Howard’s article at Scientology-cult.com for more detail). So, that is no easy task. And no, it won’t get done by an internet discussion group attended by any Tom, Dick or C of M plant having an undirected free for all.
  4. Make LRH tech broadly available so as to make Ron’s postulate that “the work was free” stick.  Which is my proof that my intentions as to #3 are untainted by financial or status considerations.
  5. Make it safe to practice Scientology outside the wall.

In a phrase, preserve the legacy of the tech.

Oh yeah, sometimes I gotta shake the cur dogs off my pant leg rather violently.

Sorry if that ruffles some feathers.

The land of milk and honey and virgins galore

The following email sent out by the CO Flag Ship Service Organization is another sign of the death of the church of Scientology.

It is twisted and sick on a number of levels.

The Commanding Officer of the highest service organization regging at all marks a sad era.

Any church of Scientology staff member, let alone the CO of the FSSO, regging for IAS is doubly wicked.

The CO FSSO being given a quota by David Miscavige (who sets ALL IAS regging quotas – just ask Debbie Cook and know by her silence) for over a million dollars for the IAS is about as off purpose a management order as could be imagined.

The CO FSSO going to OT Ambassadors (presumably the highest case level, most dedicated C of M members) to enforce such an off purpose, illegal crush reg demand is simply over the top.

The worst of all this is the promise of the land of milk and honey.  It is like the old assassin trick “go commit an unpardonable sin upon others, and you will be rewarded in the afterlife with streams of milk and honey and endless virgins at your disposal.”   Tying their access to OT IX and X to committing financial irregularities of the highest order is simply unconsionable.

It  is an outright fraud being perpetrated by David Miscavige. There is no OT IX and X.  The idea of OT IX and X was a creation of Pat Broeker, dreamt up on the heels of the death of LRH to keep the masses from open revolt and keep the vampire  Miscavige from his own throat.  He proudly announced that  “OT IX and X is compiled and ready for delivery.”   Those around at the time may recall the utter shock Miscavige suffered when Broeker (with no prior coordination) surprised everyone with that out-of-the- blue announcement.

A two year series of intrigues ensued between Miscavige and Broeker jockeying to control the holy grail that did not exist.  You may have listened to my story about the raid on Broeker’s ranch that I lead to retrieve LRH’s auditing files (St Pete Times video interview). That was done because Broeker said the keys to OT IX and X were in those folders and to hold DM off from deposing Broeker, Broeker threatened to have IX and X copyrighted in his own name.

When the folders turned out to contain no holy grail, Broeker then said he had other LRH writings that constituted the keys to OT IX and X.  Another raid ensued – in which I coordinated a squad of armed outside security personnel to secure the premises.  It will take a couple of chapters – and hopefully I’ll get the time soon to complete the entire picture – to connect all the dots on this, but suffice it to say for now, it turned out to be yet another Broeker bluff.

When Broeker’s bluffs were all called, he resorted to claiming he was channeling LRH and LRH was pissed about Broeker being reined in.  Quite often the channeling revelations were done in druken stupors.

All this IX and X promise business – for insane dollar demands for, of all things, a “war chest” –  are in my opinion the final step before Miscavige starts channeling LRH and telling his minions  in real time what the old man is allegedly ordering.

If you learn to walk the walk – rather than becoming an at-effect psychotherapy patient addicted by guilt to his or her sessions – OT VII done honestly and thoroughly, coupled with a thoroughgoing understanding of LRH OT lectures and books in application IN LIFE you will get to where you want to go.  OT VIII – unadulterated original LRH version – will connect the dots for those who don’t get there on VII.  On Source VIII is akin to a CCRD for VII, you can get there on VII, or you might need to connect the dots, clarify it and validate it with VIII. But in either event, you have got to walk the walk. You cannot pay any price for it – even $25 million to the IAS won’t get you there.  It is very easy to tell those calling themselves VIIIs who decidedly did not make the grade.  They are still acting as sheep, pimping for Miscavige.

    Hello

As the Ambassador Ship for Top Command and you are an OT
Ambassador I need to go over a specific Ship target we have been
given that is crucial to achieve as it means New OT IX and X coming
closer for all. I know you understand what  I am saying.

Additionally the ship is known for making its target no matter how.

However they made to the degree my OT Ambassadors pitch in and assist in pulling it off.

I am positive you have seen the IAS MV 3 event and realized the
scope of our activities on the 4th dynamic as well as the thrust to
disseminate and promote Scientology worldwide.

And as I stated above we have a target that means you and I,
and that ship target is $1,200,000 raised for the IAS in 2 weeks.

I am expecting you to assist your OT base! As part of your
responsibilities as an OT ambassador includes the success of the
IAS and moving up in status. Your donations are going toward to
greatest salvage programs that have ever existed for all mankind
and are the only programs that will ensure survival.

You know the importance of releasing New OT IX and X and what
it means for this planet. The faintest chance this planet has lies
on the upper OT levels.
Just like LRH states in the following excerpt from Ron’s
Journal 67:

“We are no longer dealing with the time span of man which is 70
years – we are dealing with the centuries, and we have enough time
at the upper levels to bring it off, providing we work quickly
enough at the lower levels and within the framework of the society
itself, to prevent it from destroying itself before we attain our
purposes and goals.”

Why for the Golden Age of Tech and F/N confusion

Many people here have pointed out David Miscavige’s technical “why” that lead to the Golden Age of Tech (the blind have been leading the blind) is not a why since it can lead one to ask “why?” of the “why.”   Others have pointed out that if it were the why, then the “who” would be David Miscavige since he had been leading the way for a decade and a half by then.  I have reported earlier on this blog that Miscavige did not even do an evaluation that then lead to the Golden Age of Tech.  He read an eval at the event that released his handling that had been in the works for many months. He wrote the eval as his speech (with the help of Danny Boy of course) the week leading up the the event.

All of your comments got me to thinking about the why for the Golden Age of Tech.  I did my own eval.

Policy:  Keeping Scientology Working

Situation:  Church auditors are being trained to be slaves to procedure, a method LRH stated could lead to the loss of the entire subject of Scientology.

Data:

Toward the end of his life LRH made his technical intentions abundantly clear.  After thirty years of development, he narrowed down all major technical problems to two related situations; poor TRs and poor metering. That is why he wrote the technical training film treatments. That is also why he established Golden Era Productions – to produce those films.  That is also why during his last five years, his repeated only wish was to return to the Int base (where Golden Era Productions was located) so that he could complete the Technical Training films. Each of LRH’s film treatment titles was preceded by either the designation “EM” (for Emeter training film) or “TR” (for Training Routine training film). LRH reasoned that  given good TRs and accurate metering an auditor could not help but get case gain on pcs.  It aligned with his SHSBC warning that the only way Scientology could be lost was by Scientologists becoming slaves to procedure. Procedure anyone can learn and do. It was TR’s and metering that were the key to making any procedure work.

correct target – LRH, correct relative importance – LRH, Correct Source – LRH

Instead of completing the films, LRH spent the last five years of his life in seclusion, securely planted there by Miscavige’s deft false reporting ability. On the one hand he reported how LRH would wind up publicly pilloried and possibly in the penitentiary if were to come anywhere near the Int base. On the other hand he continually reported how he was on the verge of attaining an All Clear so that all of that would change.

Incorrectly included false reports – DM, added time – DM, altered importance – DM, Falsehoods – DM

While LRH’s body withered and he ultimately moved on, DM cross ordered LRH by creating ostentatious studios, over-the-top Hollywood level film standards and a whole new “priority” for Golden Era Productions (DM’s event extravaganzas).  As a result, the tech  films were not completed in LRH’s lifetime. Another decade passed and the films were still not completed. A project LRH intended to complete in a matter of months had been delayed for a decade and a half.

Added time – DM, Added inapplicable arbitrary standards – DM, Incorrectly included mega ego – DM, Wrong Source – DM

On the heels of tax exemption (Oct 93) DM spent much of the ensuing two years at Flag.  He pushed a program (brilliantly executed by Bitty Miscavige with the help of Tom Devocht and many others) to upgrade hotel and service areas of FSO.  All cockroaches were cleared out, spaces were renovated and tidied, they even had drinks with umbrellas served to Flag public in the HGC waiting areas.

Adequate MEST upgrade -DM, Bitty, Tom

The MEST upgrades were wildly popular with Flag public who were tired of  paying through the nose to have a session in a 98 degree room while dodging cockroaches. DM basked in the glory. It was like Mussolini making the trains run on time. He made regular appearances at Flag graduation. He had Source mag put his mug on the cover and position the new Flag as his creation. However, with stardom came responsibilities.  DM’s glad handing with public gave them access to bitterly complain about the technical standards at Flag.  Since he had positioned himself, and advertised himself, as being fully responsible for the “new Flag” from top to bottom, he now had to take a look at what was happening technically.

Incorrectly included ego – DM, Wrong Source – DM

Conducting look-in at Flag HGC’s, DM saw the obvious – some overworked, underpaid, unexercised, underfed, unaudited, physically ailing, aging Class XIIs were calling stuck needles “floating needles.” DM – apparently blinded by his hellacious crimes againt L Ron Hubbard and his life-long evaluated terminated handling for out tech – decided LRH was wrong. The reason, pronounced DM, for people calling stuck needles F/Ns was not horrendous TRs and metering (which was absolutely evident), but instead “they don’t know how to get an F/N.”

Wrong Source – DM

DM instituted requirements that all TR and Metering passes in all technical training be approved by RTC Reps.  The Reps assigned, like DM, for the most part had very little training and even less experience in the chair delivering the Bridge.  All were the  lowest form of DM-lackey robots enforcing DM’s arbitrary, blanket pronunciamentos concerning TRs and Metering.  DM cross ordered the majority of the Int base and for months had them working on hundreds of binders of drills on PROCEDURE.  He then proceeded to jam the binders down the throats of every Scientologist internationally, bringing delivery of Scientology as it was once known to a grinding halt.  Because he couldn’t spot an F/N himself if it loosely and lazily kissed his own eyebrow, DM redefined a floating needle as three even swings of the needle.  In one fell swoop DM brought widespread ruination of cases across the globe.  Prolongation of the situation threatens the very future of the subject of Scientology. Recently, DM committed the final sacrilige, reshooting the last existing LRH directed, narrated and produced technical training film (The Professional TRs Course, where LRH coached and passed TRs students were, we thought, forever captured on celluloid).

Wrong Source – DM.  Incorrectly included tech arbitraries – DM

Outpoint count:

Predominantly Wrong Source and Incorrectly included

majority of outpoints assigned to David Miscavige

Why: To prove his  wrong why “they don’t know how to get an F/N” right, and to make the rest of the world wrong, Miscavige made Scientologists slaves to procedure and redefined an F/N so that nobody could achieve one.

Who: David Miscavige

Resources:  LRH Tech readily available to the world. LRH trained technical compilers in the independent movement. Hundreds of trained Scientologists who have rejected Miscavology.

Handling:

1.  Cancel Golden Age of Tech.  DONE by this issue

2. Cancel RTC “passes” requirements on TR’s and metering. DONE by this issue.

3. Reinstate Academy Level and higher class auditor training to pre 96 (pre-GAT) checksheets and material, where a student does TRs in a disciplined and purposeful manner , and learns metering and TR’s from LRH material and LRH meter drilling (as sup’d by auditors with lots of VWDAHs under their belts).

International Auditor of the Year Speaks Out

Introduction by Haydn James

My wife Lucy and I turned over the running of Birmingham Org and returned to Scientology management in Los Angeles in 2005. But not a year had passed when we were shocked to hear that, back in Birmingham, Peter White had been declared an SP. Feelings of “are you kidding me?” and outrage accompanied our horror.

You see, in addition to being a dear friend, Peter had been a very valuable staff member in Birmingham, a top class Grad V auditor, very smooth with natural TRs and great beingness. Having graduated from Birmingham University as an extremely gifted musician, Peter mastered auditing with the same ease with which he played a variety of instruments and it spoke volumes that he put his promising music career on hold to help us all at the org.

And it was only recently (2004) that Peter had been dubbed the “James Bond of Scientology UK” because of his classy British appearance, including black tie & tuxedo, and eloquent acceptance speech, all beamed around the globe as part of the International Auditor’s Day event, at which he was presented with the Class V Org International Auditor of the Year award. And boy had he earned it, auditing well in excess of 2000 well done auditing hours in the previous 12 months. More than forty hours in the chair, week in week out.

After he was declared Peter seemed to disappear, until recently, when in the spirit of reconnecting with friends and relatives I managed to track him down and reached him while he was in Paris where he was conducting the musical Les Miserables.

His account makes fascinating and chilling reading on how Miscavige’s squirrel tech has messed with Scientology’s orgs and auditors.

                                                 Shaken But Not Stirred

Hello Independents,

Having been out of Scientology for nearly as long as I was in it, a short but mostly sweet 5 years, it had felt like a disappointingly closed chapter to me for quite a while. I would occasionally look on the internet to try and find out how things were going, but generally just came across anti-Scientology material, which I had little interest in reading so stopped looking.

So what a relief it was to hear from Haydn out of the blue and be introduced to the world of the independents, where the true tech can be celebrated AND the failings of the current management of the church can be critiqued in the same breath. How refreshing!

I was on staff for most of my time in Scientology, training as or posted as an auditor. There is much I would like to write about but what perhaps is most pertinent and hopefully useful to others is to comment on my own experience of how DM’s squirrel definition of an FN messed things up for auditors and pcs and how, as a result of this, less than a year after being awarded International Class V Auditor of the Year, I found myself a declared SP.

And let me just say right from the start that Dan Koon’s article about DM’s illegal alteration of the definition of an FN was such a relief for me to read because I had lost count of the number of times I was made to word clear that squirrel definition, all methods over and over until my brain creaked!

We had some Qual terminals back in Birmingham that pushed that squirrel definition but then our Class VI Snr C/S came back from training at Flag and there was a real ‘crackdown on FNs” which took the enforcement of the squirrel definition to a whole new level.

From that point on auditing became so un-enjoyable and difficult for both auditor and PCs. Having to watch for and count the illegal number of swings, I found myself overrunning PCs more often than not. And then I’d have to waste the PCs auditing time by engaging in countless rehabs of bypassed FNs and EPs which produced a clumsy kind of stop-start session that seemed to bypass almost as much charge as it handled.

And taking the PC to the examiner at the end of the session became a nerve-wracking experience because I knew that the illegal definition of an FN was being policed there too so if that needle didn’t swing the proscribed number of times, or the PC didn’t FN because they were too concerned about how the examiner stared at the meter, both auditor and PC would be plunged into frightening rounds of unnecessary correction and repair.

At the same time I noticed more overrun happening in my own auditing too, which had never grinded before.

When push finally came to shove I found myself in an untenable position, the same position the squirrel definition of an FN puts every auditor. You can only do one of two things. EITHER: sit there staring at the meter, waiting for it to ‘fully F/N’, comm.-lagging, thus breaking the auditing comm. cycle and thereby throwing the pc out of session (and of course also potentially overrunning the process). OR: call the F/N you know exists by every indication other than the squirrel definition but risk suffering the resultant heavy ethics.

Caught between a rock and a hard place, I decided to act on behalf on my PCs. I went ahead and resolved the unsolvable problem by calling FNs according to common sense. What we now know to be the true LRH definition. But back then, as the weeks passed, instinctively using the real definition of an FN, the pressure on me became intolerable.

Unable to resolve this problem in the long term I decided to leave staff. Auditing others now seemed like hard work, getting audited seemed like hard work, expanding the org now seemed to be very hard work (which is another story); and that just didn’t match with the ‘huge expansion’ that we were being told about by DM in the briefings and events. Of course I felt it must be me, I just wasn’t up to it and that I was better off going and being the musician I’d always wanted to be. But now I know differently.

I didn’t want to leave Scientology at all, but of course my wanting to leave staff was met with ferocity because the hierarchy saw it simply as ‘counter intention to the Golden Age of Tech’ and a ‘manifestation of my overts’. Under extreme pressure I dutifully wrote tons of O/Ws, many about falsely calling FNs, which of course ACTUALLY WERE FNs.

I find it fascinating that if I had changed my mind about leaving staff I would have been dealt with “leniently” and welcomed back into the fold with open arms, but because I insisted on leaving my O/Ws were used as evidence of ‘gross out-tech’ and that I had made ‘no ethics change over a long period’ and so I was declared a suppressive person. And I also find it fascinating that the chairman of my committee of evidence wasn’t even trained per Miscavige’s own dictates – he wasn’t “Golden Age of Tech” — but they didn’t let that stop them using me as an example to anyone else that didn’t play ball with DM and anyone else that wanted to leave staff.

And I have had no contact with the org or my friends there since, not until Haydn found me, recently.

I am now flourishing as a conductor, musician and composer, but it does not compare to my achievements as an auditor and it saddens me that DM has corrupted not only the administrative lines of Scientology but auditing tech itself, which makes him directly responsible for the fact I am not auditing and that other auditors and pcs are getting messed up, the world over.

Black Dianetics at the top of the Bridge – more on IAS

If anyone has any doubt that DM has constructed a bridge to nowhere, he or she might want to spend a bit of time reading through the extensive trail of evidence Mary Jo Leavitt created which is lodged on the Scientology-cult.com website.  I believe that is far better evidence than myself, MIke RInder, Amy, Jeff, Steve, et al could ever provide.  That is because the insanity of the conduct at the top means a lot less if doesn’t transmit out to effect the product of the organization. Mary Jo’s evidence effectively documents those effects. The new “EP” of OT VIII is now in fact, “knowing and willing effect of, and complicity with,  David Miscavige and his anti-LRH and anti-Scientology campaigns and programs.”

You think I am overstating it?  Read just two of the knowledge reports that Mary Jo wrote when DM and his minions attempted to turn her into the brave new definition of OT VIII.  I have included them below. Now, please realize that very few of the OT VIIIs handled it like Mary Jo Leavitt did.  With a handful of exceptions, the OT VIIIs walked lock step down the integrity-shedding lemming leap demanded by Miscavige. Thank God Mary Jo held her ground and made a record of it.  Any bridge that leads to a state of other-determinism, particularly suppressive other-determinism, is a bridge to a dark, ugly place.

Mary Jo’s reports:

November 26, 2007 to RTC Reports Officer

Things that shouldn’t be IAS interview/Reg cycle Ted Bragin, Marion Vugger

I was in an IAS reg cycle last Saturday the 17th of November with Ted Bragin from the WUS Office.

I had been told I needed to get an appointment for a briefing and I was hesitant as I do not have the funds to donate now and I am also very busy with my OTA hat as the OTA IC of Latam. Last year, in 2006 MV I donated 150K and in one month completed a Patron Meritorious cycle: I went from 15 K on the IAS to 250K in 12 months and it was a very BIG deal for me, I got into debt big time. I was thrilled and proud to do it but had to follow that up with a lot of production. I am a single woman and while I do own my business it is not one that makes so much profit to allow for such sizeable donations. I basically got a second mortgage on my house to do it.

After course on Tuesday the 13th, I was approached by Claire Taylor (FCS LA Fdn.) and was told I had to have an interview with the IAS, that all the OTs in the field had to be interviewed. There was no reference or no reason given to me. This is a generality and it is an arbitrary that “all OTs have to be interviewed”. I don’t think an enforced interview is OK, especially when I am active and have donated so much. But I reluctantly agreed.

Since Ted Bragin regged me before I agreed to get this briefing from him and asked him to please be brief as I had lots to do and did not want to sit there and tell someone how I did not have money. It is not OK to sit there and talk at length about debt, etc- it just brings one downtone and makes a postulate there.

I had set aside 1 hour for this and Ted was late (which was fine he was in another cycle) but when we started 20 minutes late I was anxious to get the cycle going. Ted made small talk, commenting about people who had made recent huge donations and told me I needed to be with that group of people, hang out with them. I said I had no time to hang out with new people, I was a bit puzzled at the comm. I asked him to please give me the briefing and he said it wasn’t a briefing, it was an interview, which he said was the new name for a reg cycle. I was BIs, I was told I was getting a briefing. It is not OK to lie about the purpose of a meeting, which was not what I agreed to do.

He then started to ask me about my finances and I said I did not want to discuss specifics or my debt, that I had expressed to him this. I did tell him I had no equity in the house. He became irate, that HE was the IAS and I had to disclose everything as I worked for the Church and per policy they needed to know. I asked him for a reference and he pulled out the Les Dane book and referred to the section on qualifying a prospect and said “This is LRH”. I protested this saying this was absolutely not LRH source and then asked him if then anything was mine, did I own anything? Did I have a say on my own finances and how I was going to handle them? It seemed so bizarre. Ted said I was now OT VIII and very self-determined but he “could show me what self-determinism was”. This was all done in a hostile tone. He went and got a staff member from the Flag office who is a trained Flag MAA and is on a mission here in LA, her name is Marion Vugger, and when I explained to her that I was not in agreement with the force of the cycle she told me I sounded disaffected! I am one of the most upstat and active OT Ambassadors and Scientologist on the planet, according to OT Operations Office Int who wrote this before my clearance for the ship to do OT VIII eligibility. Then Ted said, “you know I love you don’t you?” and when I said “no…” he said, “that is the first lie you say tonight, I would lie in front of you and give my life so that you and only you could go free” – it was all very melodramatic and introverting. What is one supposed to answer to that? Marion told me if I could not give money I needed to walk in and say to the IAS “what can I do for you”? I told her I was already very committed as an OTA and could not glibly say that as I would not be able to deliver. She did not answer that. I have to create income and am already very active helping the OTCs in Latam. Ted then said that we had to do it all. When I said I was already “doing it all” (I do not qual for the SO or staff and Ted knows this) he got angrier with me.

I was told I had to give “everything” to the IAS, that I work for the Church and that I had to be there on the same terms as the SO and that COB needed funds NOW. When I said I could not give what I didn’t have, that it would be out ethics, he got furious and said, “don’t you think LRH was out ethics when he almost broke his back researching the OT levels? He was out ethics on the first dynamic and on the second dynamic, he had a family, he was a husband, don’t you tell me you can’t be out ethics!”. He turned to Marion and she nodded in agreement! At that point I just remained quiet and decided I needed to not protest anymore to end the interview. I said I was working on creating more income; that I was with the program and understood what I was being told. At that point Ted told the MAA that I was more active than over 90 % of parishioners he knew and then told me I could leave. Marion left the room and Ted offered to walk me to my car. As we walked I chatted lightly and he asked me 3 times if I was OK. I was not showing any signs of not being OK, it was as if he was concerned that the cycle had been very rough and he wanted to be sure I was OK.

Ted looked very tired; I have never seen him this aggressive. I am not sure what references they are operating on but this type of treatment and comm. is unacceptable and the comment about LRH being out ethics and making it OK and even necessary to be out ethics to be an upstat IAS member, is completely unacceptable. I think this needs to be looked into.

This is true,

Dear Sir,

This report is written and routed as above because of the potential liabilities such activities can bring about if perpetrated upon terminals less understanding than myself, liabilities that can have severe repercussions on PR and possibly legal lines.

Background:

Recently, two SO members entered my property by jumping the gate of my house without permission. I wrote a KR on the SO members who were from the CLO WUS ‐ and sent it to RTC, copy to MAA CLO WUS and the parties involved; it turned out one of those men was the Dir I&R CLO (Lon Kloeffer). See attached.

Two weeks went by and I went back on course at my agreed‐upon time. On the way out of course, on a Wednesday (August 5, 2009) I was approached in the parking lot by the D/ED of LAD (Mark) and asked if I could go to an IAS interview for a few minutes. I said I did not have time (which was the case), and besides these interviews are never a few minutes. I also said that I did not have any money to donate and the interviews were reg cycles, so I was going to pass. Mark then said to me it was not an option, that it was mandatory. I looked at him surprised and said, “Mandatory? Q1 is self determinism and we have power of choice!” I also said he could tell the people who had sent him that I was not going to an IAS briefing and to take me off their lists (for potential reg cycles). And then I left.

That night I received a call from the CLO Dir I&R (that went to my answering machine) saying I needed to come in to see the CLO Dir I&R immediately. My daughter Joanna, who is also my Communicator, called as soon as she got the message. She was told there was a KR written on me that required me to show up within 24 hours, because I was being summoned by HCO; yet they would not give further information on what it was about. It being a workday the next day, and I was flat‐out with work, Joanna arranged for me to go on Saturday tentatively and got OK from the Dir I&R to postpone the meeting until then. Joanna told the Dir I&R (who refused to give his name) that she would talk with me the next day and see if it was possible to go any earlier in the week. This was agreed and fine. It was late at night and I had already retired.

The next morning, Joanna gave me the message and I called the Dir I&R first thing; I got an answering machine so I left a message saying I wanted a copy of the report so I could see it before it was time to go to the CLO on Saturday (which was the earliest possible time I could go in). I had no idea what that could be about, all I could think of was the comm cycle about the IAS interview that previous afternoon.

Then around noon (approximately 3 hours after I left my message) a man in an SO Officer uniform showed up at the gate of my home/office. He identified himself as the D/CO of the Ethics Org now established in the CLO. Instead of giving me a copy of the KR, he handed me an “HCO Ethics Summons” (attached). He said I had 24 hours to report to the CLO yet would not tell me what this was about, only that it was very serious. I told him I could only think of the IAS comment the day before and that this was a violation of ethics gradients (Ref: HCO PL 29 APR 65 Issue III Ethics Review). He said ethics gradients did not apply in this situation (per policy, however, they only do not apply when an SP act is committed but I didn’t say anything.) We spent 45 minutes talking. I had pressing work and calls that had to be delayed‐ this was right in the middle of my production. I agreed to go to the CLO on Saturday at 10AM.

Joanna then originated that the HCO Summons claimed there had been repeated attempts to get in communication with me, yet she as the Communicator had only received one communication, the phone call the night before, and she had been specifically in comm on the cycle. She called the Snr HAS to get clarification as to what was meant by “repeated attempts to get in communication with no avail” and after a few phone calls it was determined to be a mistake, the Snr. HAS said there had been a misduplication and the HCO Summons was supposed to be withdrawn from my ethics file as it actually did not apply per se, because I was “in comm” and showing up on Saturday. It was understood that the appointment “would not be long” and would be under an hour. Joanna had scheduled important appointments previously for that day, but we were fitting in this appointment with the CLO; Joanna made sure it was agreed with the Snr. MAA CLO and the Dir I&R CLO that it would not take long.

On Saturday, August 8, 2009, I had to wait half an hour before the Snr. HAS came out to meet me. I reiterated that I only had a couple of hours set aside for this (a long time with my schedule). She was not pleased I had a limited amount of time and went to check with someone to see if it was OK. Then 15 minutes later another Sea Org member who identified herself as an HCO terminal said she was giving me an interview and I should follow her. As we walked across the street towards the canteen I asked her what this was about and I saw in her hand my KR regarding the SO members jumping the gate, and I said, “Oh, it’s about that? I’ll be happy to pick up the cans to tell you what happened.”

And on the cans, I did. After she was satisfied about my recounting of the episode, and I FNed throughout (she never indicated it, though; I could see her making big circles on the worksheet) she then showed me the “Knowledge Report” written by the Dir I&R CLO which was contrary to my KR. Every paragraph in that report was an alteration of the facts. I told the lady giving the interview that this was the case and that I never got a copy of this report and wanted to have it (Ref: HCO PL 1 May 1965 Iss I Staff Member Reports) and she assured me I would. She did not give me a copy, and (over a month and a half later, on the 28th of September) I finally received a copy from the Chief MAA FSSO. (See attached, and the False Report Report regarding it.)

After that the questions turned to the subject of the IAS. What did I think of it, how are my finances, do I have off‐shore accounts, any illegal activity with my business, any missing licenses or permits, who are my friends, do I have a 2D, a husband, a boyfriend (she really pressed on this one), what do I do on my spare time, am I connected to disaffected people?

I am an OT VIII with an incredible ethics record as an examination of my file shows. And yet the assumption of the interviewer and these questions was that I was out‐ethics and even criminal. I had to prove the contrary through my answers and while holding the cans (illegal use of auditing, Ref: HCO PL 18 Oct 1967 Iss III Policy and HCOB Alterations High Crime.) She also asked about my children‐ my son Greg, does he write a lot of reports? My answer‐ yes, I taught my kids well, to write reports of any Out‐ KSW or out‐tech. Greg has had a lot of trouble at LAD just staying on his Academy levels when he is pressured to do “Basics lineup”. What about my daughter, Joanna? All my answers were satisfactory to this terminal. I was FNing and in comm.

I asked her why this whole cycle was so heavy‐handed and she said the “field of OTs is very disaffected and very disenchanted and there is an investigation going on. We have found a lot of enemy line regarding the Ideal Org program and the Dir I&R often has doors slammed in his face. He thought you were acting in a disaffected fashion so he thought you needed to come in” – words to that effect. What confirms this is that this “False Report” he wrote was not acted on until two weeks after my report was written and delivered. But really, the reason for his report and “Ethics Summons” was the IAS interview and the 10 million dollars quota of parishioner money the CLO had to collect from us NOW.

When we were done I was told by the Snr HAS CLO that I needed to watch the MV4 event, the IAS event and then stay for another interview. Because of the way this was communicated, I asked if this was mandatory? The Snr. HAS CLO responded, “Yes! Absolutely, you need to do this now.” I said I had two previous appointments I could not reschedule so I would return around 5 PM.

I then saw the MV event and then it was time for the “interview” – Teddy, Jon Lundeen and Snr MAA CLO.

I made it clear I was handling debts as I had donated to the IAS 250 thousand dollars in the course of a year and was still heavily in debt (in addition, over the years I had donated 105K to SuperPower and approximately 60K to the Ideal Org program, and 20K to other programs such as the Library Campaign and Basics campaign). I shared that my business had not done as well this year but I was going up the conditions and my application of ethics tech was working and going well. Then they started with the doom and gloom that times were so bad and things were so desperate, I needed to go ahead and “do or die in the attempt” and other quotes from KSW1 completely out of context. Despite a rising emotion from my interviewers, I remained calm and told them I was not going to go into further debt and that I was not turning over my credit card. Teddy screamed at me saying I had a closed mind and was not allowing him to do his job, that I had to tell him my personal finance data (and then he referred to the Les Dane “Sales Techniques” as his source for that) and kept invalidating me, cutting my comm., saying he did not like how I grimaced, etc. When I could say something he would write it down and often he would leave the room to talk to someone else about these notes he was taking.

Then Jon Lundeen, whom I know well and who even trained me on being a Registrar when I was in the Sea Org at Flag, told me the IAS cycle was so important he was spending 90% of his post time wearing that hat. And the Snr MAA said she, too, was doing that, that she was in charge of the entire PAC Base IAS quota. They said this with pride! That they are off‐post and off‐hat 90% of the time!

At one point Jon and I were alone and he told me a story about his daughter stealing things as a youth in the SO and that he got a knock on the door in the middle of the night, a dreaded moment, where he was told he had to leave the SO unless he handled his daughter. He told me he was not about to give up the SO and his life in it, so he borrowed 30K to send her off to Delphi in Oregon. (As an afterthought he said he didn’t remember if he ever paid that debt) and that his daughter was shortly after that expelled from Delphi for her “stealing” (i.e. kleptomania). Her mother, Edie Lundeen, (Class XII) (finally) gave her some auditing and it quickly resolved and now his daughter is posted at Int. But the point of his story was that, in his words, COB had gotten that “knock on the door in the middle of the night” and we all had to do the impossible to raise this money; that any bad consequence for incurring more debt was not important. It really sounded like the end of the world. Jon was very agitated.

Teddy said we needed to complete establishing an AO in Latam and I said that was years away as each org in Latam had to become Ideal and as far as I knew they were not even solvent. I was bewildered that they would say this was such an urgent cycle, and expressed that to them. Teddy would write all this down on a paper and would not answer my questions. He then became angry and went for the full‐out make‐wrong and invalidation technique I had previously experienced from him (see my KR of an IAS interview with Teddy in 2007). I remained calm during the whole interview. They, instead, turned quite upset and were often screaming and turning red. And as they saw that this did not have an effect on me, it became worse, i.e. intensifying their misemotional outbursts.

As I persisted on my position that I was not going to donate, Lundeen screamed at to me that I was an out‐ethics OT to have taken so long to pay off the IAS donation and that to doubt my ability to handle a large debt was a gross out ethics! He shouted that LRH had expected the impossible from him and I was very able and the same was expected of me. I then said I had arrived there earlier in the day with two hours for the interview, but ended up remaining there most of the day and night, and the cycle had been over 6 hours long and I was now leaving. As I stood up they all started to scream and at that point the Snr Dir I &R (Lon) walked in, crossed his arms and stated in a menacing tone, “You are not participating and what is going to happen is you need to get a roll back right now. You have been spouting enemy line all night”. I said, “Not participating? You mean I am not turning over my credit card? Absolutely not. And I already had a one‐hour interview where I came out clean and I am not doing another. It is 10 PM!” He said, “We will give you some vitamins to put down your throat, it will be fine”. At that point I said, “I am leaving” and the Snr. MAA blocked the door. I told her she could not do that and motioned her to move. At that point the auditor who had interviewed me knocked on the door and told me to go with her. Everyone in the room was screaming at the same time and I gladly walked out with her.

Once we were outside, the HCO auditor said she could overhear that things were getting intense and out of hand in there so thought she’d knock to get me out. I thanked her and told her I was not doing another interview, I was going home. She said we should at least walk a bit so I told her we could walk to where my car was parked. She asked me more questions about my debt and when I told her I was 300K in debt, she asked if that was the mortgage and I said no, that is separate from mortgage. She asked me why I didn’t tell them this and I said these were my personal finances and it was nobody’s business. She told me we needed to do this second interview anyway, she was holding a piece of paper that contained all the “enemy line” I had said, and I told her anything I said I meant, it came from me and was very straight forward. She said she could not do it during the week but next Saturday and she would call me to schedule me. I acknowledged her though I did not intend on picking up the cans again for this cycle.

She never called and then on September 15th, 5 weeks later, the Dir I&R CLO and Snr. HAS CLO came to my house while I was out. They told my son that I had blown an ethics interview and needed to go to the CLO. They left a hand written note for me to call the Snr. HAS as soon as I got the note. I called and got a voice mail. I left a message. I said, “This is Mary Jo Leavitt, I got your note. I am not going in for your ethics interview. Do what you have to do. Do not come to my house anymore.”

I have not heard since.

At length, people are doing without being responsible.” –LRH.

This is the kind of behavior and actions that indeed breed disaffection, and result in bad PR for the Church of Scientology.

New OT IV (OT DRD) Ridge on the Bridge

In the early eighties LRH wrote to the then-Snr CS Int questioning why the church was monkeying around using 1968 OT III technology on the OT DRD (OT IV). LRH suggested a pilot  using NOTs (New OT V)  technology which he noted was far more precision and powerful than OT III technology on the OT DRD (New OT IV). Incidentally, as RTC’s go-to  VIP case debugger for several years, and for the past year deliverying from my humble shack in South Texas, I have observed his advice to be spot on. I’ve seen dozens of people parked between OT III and OT V because they were ground to an expensive halt on Old OT IV.   Ray never got around to complying because DM cross ordered him off of it to concentrate exclusively on converting FPRD breakthroughs into a mind control operation against OT VIIs and most every other level of church public and staff.

Well, the first parked OT III completion who came my way down here, I decided to take LRH’s advice on.  The pre-OT had been off the Bridge for 15 years because she took a stand against grotesque criminal regging that by the mid-nineties had become ramapant under DM’s guidance.  I did the complete OT IV rundown utilizing NOTS technology just like LRH advised.

I gotta tell you I have audited complete NOTS levels and OT IV levels before, but I have never seen a person – with no exceptions – make the ride more smoothly through New OT IV and New OT V completion.  I’ve never seen more tone arm action per session, more cognitions on the woof and warp of the physical and spiritual universes.  I’ve never seen a person blossom and flourish and grow like this pre-OT did on these levels. I delivered it in four blocks spanning 5 months and kept in very close touch with the pre-OT watching her go from a baby OT to a full blown OT.

Now, by way of comparison, this completion was done in the teeth of DM’s PI’s doing everything short of breaking the law (well, the jury is still out on that one) to prevent this from happening.  Fortunately, I had a couple of great E/O’s (Mike and JB) keeping the immediate environs relatively quiet.

Bottom line: LRH said to do this and DM said “no.”  We said “yes”, went ahead and did it and found out it resolves a major ridge on the Bridge and streamlines the route to OT.

Scientology and Common Sense

by Haydn James

A pretty business indeed for a man to be allowed  eight hundred thousand sterling a year and worshipped into the bargain! Of more worth is one honest man to society and in the sight of God, than all the crowned ruffians that ever lived

Thomas Paine

Common Sense, 1776

In addition to Miscavige’s lengthening list of crimes, let’s take a look at a subject that has received too little attention over the years, which contributed to his rise to power in the first place: namely Scientology’s lack of a correct form of government or constitution.

In his text on the subject entitled Common Sense, back in 1776, Englishman Thomas Paine took less than thirty pages to utterly obliterate any arguments in favor of a group of people ever using a system of monarchs or supreme rulers to lord over them. Even some staunch royalists read those few pages at the time and thought “well, that’s it then, never again will I allow royalty to rule over me. How stupid to let yourself be ruled by someone about whom you have no say and on whom you can have no effect. How silly to give total power to someone to make whatever far reaching decisions they want whenever they want and there is nothing that can be done, no impeachment, no removal, no ousting from office, nothing, ever.”

Paine pointed out that other than an all too brief period during which a people might be lucky enough to be ruled by a benign monarch (with no means of controlling succession), putting oneself at total effect by investing all privileges, powers and rights in someone who enriches themselves while demanding unrelenting worship into the bargain was a ridiculous state of affairs.

Such forceful arguments plus Paine’s proposals for a viable alternative — a correct form of government containing necessary checks and balances — sparked a successful revolution against the British and the creation of the United States of America. And make no mistake, the American Revolution reverberated around the globe and changed its political landscape forever, finally killing off the last remnants of the western world’s longstanding feudal system. And if Paine had had his way the American Revolution would have killed off all other forms of slavery too but Washington didn’t keep his end of the bargain.

A One Horse Race

Now, let’s look at what we’ve had in Scientology for the past twenty odd years:

Miscavige has been anything but benign, and from the moment he rigged the race and became the supreme head of Scientology he’s had more relative power than the President of the United States because he’s had total control of Scientology’s executive (management), its legislative machinery (policy and decision making) and its judiciary (Scientology’s ethics and justice system) which made it impossible for anyone to ever question or countermand his orders, or pass any Scientology law prohibiting his actions, or impeach him for improper conduct, abuse of power or any other type of violation.

Despite glaring lessons from history, Scientology has had and still has a dictator with supreme power that no one can question because he is the head of all things.

This has resulted in a total lack of checks and balances in the governing of Scientology.

And, a lack of functioning organizations managing it. So is it any wonder we also have:

1. Widespread perversions of tech and alterations of policy.

2. Numerous injustices, abuse of individuals and families.

3. Dwindling orgs and numbers of Scientologists.

4.  harassed public required to fund out of their own pockets the supreme ruler’s unchecked and uncontrolled penchant for unusual solutions and strange projects which make a tax on tea look like chump change.

And make no mistake Miscavige has and does enrich himself at Scientology’s expense, a process that began the moment he had unassailable power and which has continued to gather pace. And the fact that no one within the Church of Scientology has ever dared to ask him how much he has taken proves my point entirely.

Miscavige’s Wrong Target Defense

For self protection against the growing disquiet in the field, Miscavige tries to run the mis-director, the deflecting line that potent objections to his misrule are attempts to attack the church and tear it down. One of the most common lines coming from OSA these days is: “Yes, some things are wrong within the Church of Scientology, but that’s no reason to tear it down” – an accusation repeatedly leveled at the Independents by OSA in their attempts to split my eldest daughter from her fiancé.

Some things wrong? Well, I guess they are correct if by some things wrong they mean planet wide out-tech, a lack of management, widespread injustice, failing orgs, a steeply worsening global image, a strange obsessing about buildings when Scientology was only ever about and only ever will be about people, and a lengthening list of the outraged and the abused who swell the ranks of the Independents.

[As a side note, I do wonder how Scientologists justify getting involved and caught up in this fixation with buildings while people go begging, ignored if not also abused. I imagine that they must tell themselves that they will eventually get to help people way, way, way, way down the line after they have helped Miscavige build his pipe dream of a bricks-and-mortar-audio-visual system that will somehow automatically handle all the people they’ve neglected in the meantime. A dream that will never be realized and shame on them anyway because LRH always said that people can only be helped by “you and me with our sleeves rolled up” and “one at a time”.]

The sad thing is that Scientology is being torn down, but not by Independents, the demolition job is being done by Miscavige and those remaining who bow down before him, fawn all over him and those that propitiate or try to appease him.

If Independents wanted to see the destruction of Scientology all they would have to do is stay silent, sit back and watch.

Another line Miscavige uses is that because Scientology is such a powerful cure for man’s ills that the end justifies his means. Well, quite apart from the fact that his means are destructive and a total failure, I say that it is because he has had Scientology tech at his disposal all these years that his means (abuse of Scientology and abuses perpetrated in the name of Scientology) have been all the more unnecessary and inexcusable.

As part of this he continues to use statements of justification such as “to clear a planet you sometimes have to get rough.” Really? If that were true auditors would slap their PCs while yelling for them to have a cognition. And they are certainly heading in that direction under Miscavige.

No, I say that if Scientology is ever going to help this planet, if it is ever going to be taken seriously then it must act in a manner befitting its technology — its people must use and demonstrate the highest levels of understanding. We must be and should be the greatest proponents of the universal solvent this planet has ever seen. Frankly, the many great men that have gone before us are going to be an awfully tough act to follow in this regard but we do have the technology so we are just going to have to suck it up.

Just think about it, as we stand, how could anyone possibly reconcile Miscavige’s homophobia, enforced divorces, coerced abortions, and his lack of care for staff, children and families, his completely over the top rapacious collection of money and his ridiculously tough stance in the media with the greatest movement on earth? Well, they can’t.

But the most insidious play in Miscavige’s wrong target defense playbook is the fact that he holds over us and would have us accept that exposing his crimes to the world at large would cause “untold harm to Scientology”. Well, quite in addition to the fact that untold harm has already been caused to Scientology, I say that the very fact that it is Scientology means his crimes MUST be exposed to the world at large, that Scientology must fix itself and the world must see it do so or there is little hope it will ever regain a correct image or achieve its purpose. LRH never said Scientology was perfect but he did say it was workable, so the world witnessing such workability in action by seeing Scientology overcome its own internal problems and then implementing needed reforms has many great advantages.

The last major line in Miscavige’s wrong target defense is that prominent Independents just want to take over from him so they can have all the power for themselves.

It’s no surprise that such a power hungry creature as Miscavige would think that way and by myopically making the accusation he misses the fact that it is an admission of guilt, an admission that anyone grabbing his power would be able to dominate Scientology. But what Independents would like to see is an end to dictatorship (and all forms of abuse) and a system put in place that prevents a single person or clique from ever dominating Scientology again, a system that would allow the power of the tech to shine through and carry out the simple purpose for which it was designed – to help the people of earth, certainly all those that wish to be helped by it.

A Better Way

Surely a subject as broad as Scientology contains within it the answers to the riddle of its own correct government. I certainly think it does so from what I know of Scientology I carried out a brief exercise to see if there was a way of governing the Church of Scientology that would be better than the tyrannical mess we have and that might prevent such destructive domination from ever happening again.

I believe there has to be some form of governing body for Scientology, but that a prospective member of such a body would have to qualify in a number of ways. They would have to be experts in Scientology technology, policy or jurisprudence and they would have to exhibit the very essence and nature of Scientology (understanding, pan-determinism, the granting of beingness as well as other qualities unique to Scientology). In short, they would have to be highly trained and experienced OTs.

As LRH points out in Ron’s Journal 67 and elsewhere, OTs work best when organized with other OTs so the governing body of Scientology would have to be a well organized group of OTs. And it would be wise to form a number of such OT organizations, each with their own duties to perform but each with an additional responsibility to cross check or police the performance of the others. In that way no one person or organization could become too powerful, too out of control or stray too far off track or go criminal, what Thomas Paine would have called “checks and balances”.

Such a set up (these three organizations simply working in concert) would represent the highest toned government possible for Scientology as confirmed by LRH in his masterpiece, HCO PL An Essay on Management, in which he states:

We are examining here, if you have not

noticed, the tone scale of governments or companies

or groups in general from the high Theta

of a near cooperative state, down through the

Theta of a democratic Republic, down through

“emergency management”, down through

totalitarianism, down through tyranny and

down, if not resurged by a new goal finder

somewhere on the route, into the apathy of a

dying organization or nation.

TONE SCALE OF GOVERNMENTS, COMPANIES OR GROUPS

Near cooperative state

Democratic republic

Emergency management”

Totalitarianism

Tyranny

Apathy of a dying organization or nation

But this is just my take on things, my brief and humble attempt to solve the problem which shows there are potential options, there are better ways. I am certain that if Scientologists put their heads together and use what they know, the problem of going forward with Scientology and how to prevent tyranny from ever happening again will be solved. But that debate is for another time and another place.

The Task at Hand

The immediate barrier we are faced with is the fact that the current dictatorship ruling Scientology bears a greater resemblance to pre-1776 colonial America than it does to the technology and policy of Scientology.

But don’t sit back and expect someone in corporate Scientology to do anything about it. The Church of Scientology has been subjected to tyranny for so long it has dropped far down the organizational tone scale and is now experiencing apathy of a dying organization. And within that apathy there is blind acceptance of the assertions from Miscavige’s wrong target defense. So we have to grow up boys and girls, L Ron Hubbard is not here to bail us out, it’s up to us to take responsibility and put things right. But we move forward comforted by the knowledge that whatever comes after him, it will be a great deal better than Miscavige.

And since Scientology is a “closed shop”, mis-run by a dictator with no effective form of remedy open, there is but one course of action left – to withdraw any and all support from the tyrant, the same position Americans found themselves in circa 1776, when one of those great men I referred to wrote:

TO CONCLUDE: however strange it may appear to some, or however unwilling they be to think so, matters not, but many strong and striking reasons may be given, to shew, that nothing can settle our affairs so expeditiously as an open and determined declaration for independence.
