Follow up to last post, Truth Revealed about OT VIII.
Lest there be any future mistaking as to who personally laid in the implant, please review the words below. They were penned by David Miscavige for his closing speech on “Org Night” during the year 2000 Maiden Voyage aboard the Freewinds.
Because, I have recently been reviewing many of your folders, particularly those who enrolled on New OT VII, or New OT VII Expanded, soon after the release of the Golden Age of Tech for OT’s.
And what was evident is that many are nearing full completion of that level.
In fact, I would use the word “imminent.”
So, we have also brought to the Freewinds the Golden Age of Tech materials for New OT VIII.
As part of that, I have also recently done a review of a great many folders for those who did New OT VIII, before New OT VII Expanded.
For the good news, there is no long training course awaiting you!
Your skills, as currently being demonstrated on Solo NOTs, will definitely take you through this level, AND EVERY SINGLE SUBSEQUENT OT LEVEL.
In fact, it’s all good news.
C/Ses at Flag have the precise instructions on what step to C/S as you complete New OT VII.
In some instances, it is best to do L’s at that point. Ultimately, every pre-OT should do the L’s but, LRH gave specific instructions on “case phenomena”, or I should say, lack of specific “case phenomena”, where the pre-OT should do the L’s immediately after VII and before VIII.
But again, that’s an individual matter based on specific case assessment.
Otherwise it is right onto and through New OT VIII and then up to IX and X.
For those who previously audited the level, you will of course do an expanded OT VIII.
And in that instance, the service is free of donation.
What you will find when you arrive is an issue describing any false data some of you may have been given.
As a whole, with some distance and perspective, it is pure squirrel cage.
This particular passage should be passed around to those who have had troubles in the past fifteen years on the Solo NOTs and OT VIII levels:

Be wary, very wary, of David Miscavige issues replacing L Ron Hubbard issues under his trademark squirrel guise of “describing false data.” Including, but not limited to the above, the sixteen page OT VII expanded, an entire stage full of “golden age of tech”, “golden age of knowledge”, etc…

Having done VIII in ’89 and the original VIII Expanded in ’90 and all the L’s, I would like to state the following:
1. There was no false data given out on OT VIII in ’89 unless it was the entire bulletin itself, which I doubt because it aligned with data in LRH books. I experienced their campaign of recalling VIIIs back to the ship to handle ‘false data’ and do an ‘expanded’ VIII in ’90. Their ‘false data fix’ did not consist of revealing that the bulletin contained any false data whatsoever. In fact, there was no false data revealed or found. The only false data was that there was false data. Maybe it was a ruse, used to condition people to the real false data that lay ahead in the future with the introduction of the ‘Golden Age of Tech’.
2. ‘Redoing’ OT VIII as an ‘expanded’ level after auditing more on OT VII is completely and foolishly squirrel and harmful and the only purpose would seem to be to confuse one and drive them down the tone scale into more solidity. I cannot see in any way that doing more VII would produce anything that would cause one to have to do more VIII.
3. DM’s ‘advice’ to do the L’s after VII and before VIII is suppressive. OT VIII completely changes forever the way one would look at and audit one’s case in any auditing in the future. OT VIII reveals that one has been following a trick pathway inside the labyrinth.
Why send someone back into the extremely complex labyrinth of the L’s, particularly L-10, without this vital awareness, and especially after so much work on VII and when they are so close to possessing a vital piece of the treasure map that will help guide them through?
4. I’d like to know what kind of bullshit magic DM thinks he possesses that would give him the skill or awareness to be able to tell from looking at someone’s folder that they were imminently ready to complete the level. Haitian Voo-Doo or does he do a Turkish Whirling Dirvish dance that puts him in a semi-godlike trance of omnipotence? And why does he say, “I-I-I”? “I looked at the folders”, “I determined” this and that and the other thing? I, I, I. Why is he not allowing his senior technically qualified people to make the adjudications and indications?
5. OT VIII Expanded was and is not free of donation. You will unknowingly donate your previous gains, you sense of self, your space, your knowingness, your confidence and your self-determinism. The only way you should ever do VIII again is if you completely did not understand it at all when you studied it and really did not audit it at all and got no EP on the process at any time and didn’t even attest to it. Really, what’s the likelihood of that? Maybe one in a gazillion-trillion-brillian-frillion? Those are some odds.
6. I read DM’s illegal and out-tech written interpretations of OTVII which was mandatory for all VIIs and VIIIs in ’95 or ’96. They were filled with eval, inval and blatant interpretations of HCOBs. Isn’t that nice. What part of Qual training did I fall asleep on where it talked about the way to fix a product is to write up a bunch of interpretive authoritative documents filled with opinions to shotgun everyone with?
7. I can essentially agree with Marty’s technical stance that if one is trained right and does the levels of the bridge thoroughly and has one’s Act One in then they very well might not need OT VIII, but I would add one corollary to that, that one must be armed with the knowledge contained in History of Man along the way and at some point have achieved the benefit of the philosophical practices contained therein. And I’m not talking about those goofy clam incidents or jack-in-the-box stuff, but very down to earth spiritual truths and nuances thereof.
8. DM himself can only be handled from inside, and handled the same way he gained power, first by beating the living hell out of him, threatening him with blackmail and then using lies to do him in. A time comes when one must turn and punch Satan in the head and use his blackness against him to do good and besides, it would be so much fun.
The successful formula for this would seem to lie in the mere corporate legalities of the matter, used with the right amount of courage.

Unbelievable that people who heard/read this at the time and, who knew DM’s training level didn’t leave the church then & there.
It’s already in History of Man, complete with the underlying philosophy and how to audit it. It only gets streamlined in the confidential VIII bulletin.
So in 19 September 1978 in LRH ED 298 Int (Pg 281 Tech Vol XI), LRH says about OT 8:
“Although OT VIII has been researched earlier I knew there was something that had to be handled before I could release OT VIII. “NED for OTs” does just that and now I am pleased to announce the release of OT VIII which will be available at AOs and Flag to OTs who have completed “NED for OTs”. This is a solo level already in excellent shape from “NED for OTs””
A few things about this: LRH is talking like OT VIII was ready to go. He was actually pleased to announce the release of it then, Then he says “Available at AOs and Flag”?? Wow. No ships needed. Also, at the time of this LRH ED the original OT sections were still there (OT IV, V, VI and VII). As you can see, NED for OTs was not labled as an OT section. It seems to be a R/D.
I was the OT III-VII supervisor AOLA from 1977 to 1980 and then the Qual Sec AOLA 1980-82 and then cram off. All of these changes occured on the OT sections when I was there.
I think one had to do old OT IV (never be trapped again) old OT VI (Exterior with full perception) and VII (Rehabilitation of full intention) to do VIII. LRH did put out a bulletin in 1979 saying that one couldn’t do the old OT sections without doing NOTs first, so he instructed one and all to do NOTs and then those OT sections. At the time of this LRH ED those old OT sections were still being done and so he was assuming they were being done.
I can see that Davey and company knocked out these OT Sections only to be used later as OT X, XI, XII, XIII and so on in order to capitalize on them. I never saw anything from LRH cancelling these old OT sections, or say they weren’t needed or that they were going to be done later or anything. I think Davey knocked them out and thus made his implant on VII and VIII all the easier to accomplish.

Way back, there were a couple of Class 8 OTs who blew. One of the first things they did after leaving was to take some lower level preclears in the area and “debrief” them on the upper levels.
At least one of those preclears flipped over into what would be classified as “schizophrenia” – was actually “treated” & medicated, as a direct result of this exposure.
At the time, all I could think about was, how arrogant of you self-righteous sobs, to make the decision to expose others to these materials.
Go ahead and invalidate them if you so choose, but at least have the humility to realize you MIGHT be wrong.

Now he reminds me of a politician during an election event, creating good mood and promising whatever the masses are likely to accept and appreciate. I always wondered – and I’ll be careful here, when a person is clear on the 1D and then does all of his OT sections up and through OT 7, then he is done with negative gain, right? But the L’s are negative gain. Not all of it, but enough so that you would have to think there is something wrong with you to run it. The only thing you can do after negative gain is complete is OT sections that build your ability. That’s why David doesn’t understand anything about how thetans work and how they get fixed. He has no clue.

I hear you, but I have a question: At what point does it become correct and proper to widely release upper levels?
A little thought reveals that at some point it must be the right thing to do. There are nearly 6 billion people on this planet, and all of them deserve to be freed. That’s an awful lot of people, and keeping the upper levels in some safe confine just doesn’t scale up at those numbers.
In recent years we’ve had, what 5,000 staff and SO and 25,000 Scientologists? OK, make it 50,000 Scientologists. The ratio is 1 to 10.
Fully clearing this planet is going to involve at some stage 10s or even 100s of millions of practitioners; I cannot imagine a single organization coping with that.
I suppose what I’m saying is that at some point the data in the upper levels will become common knowledge available to everyone. And what I’m asking is, at what point should that happen?

I well remember reading this. I did the original OT levels. All should note that LRH refers to “OT8.” What released on the ship is “New OT8” even though there wasn’t a release before. I don’t think we have ever seen the LRH OT 8 only the alteration and release of what someone calls “New”. I would like to the the original or “old” if there is a “new” and that is where the truth is.
In addition all who paid for the original OT package including OT8 were required (as far as I know) to pay for “New” OT8. Looks like “New OT8” is the same as “DM OT8.” No need to wonder about the problems many have had on this level. DM can’t audit, can’t C/S and sure the hell can’t create “Tech”.
At the time NOTS was either a C/S requirement or the option of the pre-OT.
Now we go from that to no real OT levels (original OT IV to full OV VII) and wonder why we don’t see the real OT VIII. There is a huge omitted bridge resulting in an outgradient with confusions, reelings, etc.
Suppression of the true states of OT is what it is.

The ‘problem’ of organizations is also covered by policy and factually there would not be an issue of sufficent staff and auditors if those policies were actually followed and people weren’t staying away from the subject in droves.
The OT levels are for use in the hands of responsible and trained terminals. Not for the titillation of those trying to short cut the Bridge for quick cheap thrills.

Have you ever looked at the processes people are run on to unburden their cases enough to even run Dianetics well, in some cases?
Want to know when the OT levels might be OK to release widely? OK. When the majority of the population is Clear, it would be getting close to that. But just to get to that point, a majority of the population would need to get started on that road, wouldn’t they? When a majority of the population has done a CommCourse, maybe then they could co-audit the Self-Analysis lists to where they could run some engrams and get a Dianetic case completion. Then they could do then Grades O – IV and as necessary Grades V – Va. Then they could go Clear.
So yeah, when several billion people have done all that, maybe we would be getting closer to a general public release of OT levels. But even then, why risk anyone, even a single person, of having an adverse reaction? Hey, if you want to risk it, I have no problem with that. I’m pretty much a Libertarian that way – drugs ought to be decriminalized etc. If you’re dumb enough to overdose, that’s your right! I’m sure you could find all the OT level details bootlegged on the Internet.

You are so right. I remember when the D of P’s and RTC were telling people that DM personally C/S’d everyone’s folders. Like I was supposed to take that as meaning he was such a caring guy. No, it told me that he and others were lying and full of it. It was fraught with outpoints yet person after person after person were buying into it. On it’s face it was such an obvious total lie. It was impossible to believe and I didn’t buy it, not for one second. Geez, I wouldn’t want him anywhere near my folders.
How did I get them off my back? I told anyone who nagged me that I didn’t go this far up the Bridge to become other-determined. Nobody, not one person, ever had a come back for that. I was left alone, hiding in plain sight.
Here’s what DM managed to get a lot of people to forget: Solo NOT’s is a SOLO level. In order to go along with his bs a person had to invalidate what they knew about their own state of case. Not me. No thanks.
DFB, Since 1990 cornerstone member meant someone donated a minimum of 30K to the Superpower project, and they would have first crack at it and would have their very own special cornerstone lounge to hang out with all the other really important donators. Of course iver the next 2 decades more and more was regged from many of those people whenever possible.
I never had any urge to join any elitist group in order to hobnob with them and get the rundown first. This status had nothing to do with having completed KTL and LOC, both of which were originally prereqs according to the LRH issue describing those services.

We got that promo too and my first reaction was, “Oh, we’ve impinged in the statements about Superpower being a scam so they are trying to look like they are doing something at last!”
As I am in a trap (either being in due to my stupidity or due to being pushed into .. ) I can give you an easy (non case talk) sample of how that looks like in real life. One of my hobbies is roulette gambling. I bought a computer, did learn how to write programmes and wrote programmes to find out more about the mechanics of random numbers on roulette. In order to find ways to make money. Thus I know how that random number generator behaves. I did it purely on mathematics. Not OT „powers“. Then I go to the game and observe and then start playing. As I start playing the numbers that are drawn change completely and behave differently as they usually should do mathematically. One day as a real life example I experienced 40 times in a row black numbers. That is quite outside of the usual. You think, what is that and only thing I know is that something strange is happening. The problem is, that this goes on and on. Not just a one day abnormality.
Consider now similar things happening in real life with real situations and people. Then you know how it feels to be in an OT trap. And DM is pushing OTs into traps.

I believe you are right. My husband bought OT8 around 1977. He was convinced later to use the money for something else. He was told by several people that he couldn’t use it for 8 and would have to pay again for New OT8. He was told that it wasn’t the same OT8. I also remember in 1975 and 76 the reg, in briefing the public on OT, stated it as such; OT1-7 are pre OT levels. OT8 was the first OT level. I think I remember OT8 being sold at that time. Laura

No, it didnt happen. There are two people who post on this blog in addition to Marty who have direct knowledge of what happened in Italy. And I can assure you there are plenty of others posting on this blog who can tell you Miscavige would never go near a country where there was any slightest hint that he could be arrested (or even hassled). And in Italy in the late 80s they were throwing people in jail only because they were org or Narconon staff. I went to Italy to deal with that case with Klaus Buchele (he spent years working on it, I was far more focused on US legal matters).

LRH had us read this reference over and over for a reason. He counted on us to REALLY apply it. He believed in us. He says failure to retain and practice our technology is possible.
This would be the only logical conclusion anyone could come to. When long term dedicated Scientologists are walking away, either out in the open or quietly drifting away. In the last call I recieved from the ship (when I was still in good standing) the person was literally begging me to call back. There are too many OT’s, ex-INT staff. ex-SO, OL’s, and dedicated members walking away. What hurt my heart the most are the people who dedicated their lives to the cause who now have no faith in Scientology at all, anymore. This is CAUSED by OUT TECH. Good people do not become SP’s over night. In my mind, the only option is, to speak up. If you choose to stay in put your neck on the line for LRH. Look around and write reports. Correct Mike, it never happened., no money was ever paid.
The first real Italian attack came by the psychs in 82 and back then, under the GO and with Intelligence man Dick Story in a leading GO position an idea was born to try a pay off. But that failed like most GO/B1 actions failed. It left us nothing but damage and a mess .
Later, after we had created OSA, and the Italian raids happened in 1986 (as a result of the incomplete GO handlings, BTW) we got legal defense funds until the PR flaps was under contral and people were out of jail. But once that was over and the media had died down, but the real legal work (10 years of it) still was ahead of us we had to fight to get ‘dear leader’ to approve the needed money so OSA could pay the attorneys on time. He could have cared less what happened to the Italians.
BTW, the same thing happened in Spain, when Heber got jailed. Once the people were out of jail and the PR flap appeared under control DM would not give approval for timely payment of attorneys.
OSA ended up haggling with the attorneys over fees, like a bunch of Berbers in the Marrakesh market.
But in the end all that was a blessing. It allowed us to executed LRH’s strategic advises and that is what won the day in Italy and Spain.
In fact the execution of the LRH legal advises is what resulted in the Italian Court changing the definition of “religious freedom” as enshrined in the Italian Constitution. Because ‘dear leader’, thankfully, did not care about Italy once the PR flap was over all Italians now enjoy more freedom of religion.
Thank god we had Marty and Mike to take the heat and provide a shield against ‘dear leader’s’ psychosis. Without that we could not have executed LRH’s strategies. It was LRH’s advises, which were also based on Sun Tzu’s Art of War, and Marty and Mike taking the heat and being a shield , which enabled the creation of the bigger freedom of religion, which all Italians can now enjoy.
Gavino Idda knows it, Gigi Scudelari and Giovanna know it, KO knows it. Kurt for SURE knows more than most others…….and many many in OSA Italy know it. All very good people, and once very good friends BUT in the trap. It is sad.
I hope we can help them out of the trap one day. They really deserve it.
Oh Boy! Seldom have I ever read a posting chain so intently. It’s not so much the data and ramifications anymore that’s so striking, it’s the fact that it’s a meeting and comment location of those exterior enough to actually look and therefore know with so few curves. It doesn’t take much looking on the net to find caved in victims who smash everything related to Scientology. I think it is easier to keep in mind the philosophy and technology of Scientology. The philosophy is open to all. The technology is more like a recipe to follow. When one is exposed to something further ahead before it is time the viewpoint of the traveler is different. Some are badly affected and many aren’t. One person could read the materials and nothing happens. The next reads and peaks into part of the bank that overwhelms the thetan. That person wasn’t ready for it.
The bridge is a journey. Best traveled in PT and not with attention on what’s in the future and shouldn’t be attention on what was already done. Just the here and now in the session. The early books, lectures, HOM, etc give one plenty to read and listen to.
LRH originally didn’t make all these materials confidential. This was done after some were keyed in or others purposely keyed one in by exposing them and discussing parts of their case before they were ready. Then, at SH, mid 60’s, were these made confidential.
We get to see what happens when the tech is altered and misused by following this blog and the experiences of those doing the squirrel version of the processes at Flag, etc. I, for one, would rather not see more of that. Let the PC have a win. Give them the tech they are ready for. Leave wide open all of the philosophy side.

I read in a court case or a deposition where you said the original OT4,5,6,and 7
were going to become these latest levels. I truly do not understand why these levels, written by LRH, done on Many people would be just dropped.
OT3 and NOTS can be very introverting and these LRH OT Levels were very exteriorizing. Someone said “oh-those were just grades”, I don’t care if they were, they were being done on a PreOT who is now in a totally new place.
I will always feel lucky that I was able to get them. They truly helped stabilize me after the incredible expansion on the earlier OT Levels….
I take it, LRH did not leave behind a written and piloted copy of OT8, and DM just threw something together. Well, LRH did leave behind these 4 other OT Levels, that I don’t know if you received them, but they were very extroverting and gave you a PLACE in the physical universe, so the abilities you just gained, you played with, you learned how to “Play” in the physical universe. During those levels I had a constant smile on my face.
And we do still have them…
Remember what LRH said in some HCOPL” — when things get so bad, and so out of control in an organization, the solution is to “Strip it Down to Basics”

It’s not an urban legend, that is for sure. I witnessed it, in detail.
As to Scientology going through “academic peer review” – listen to what LRH says about that in one of the study tapes. Let’s put it this way: certain prerequisites must exists in a session for auditing to work. It’s called the Auditor’s Code.
There is no question in my mind that auditing results could be easily measured and verified, provided all points of the Auditor’s Code were followed. The problem is, actually accomplishing this in a “scientific”, sterile setting. But I’m pretty sure it could be set up in such a way as to get around that problem.
As to upper levels, it is very true that for those who have never experienced auditing, never had any “charge” removed from their case, the “stories” will sail right over their heads. They will seem funny, silly, crazy, fantasy, whatever. In a way, that unreality is a great protective mechanism, both for the materials and for the person reading them without having been brought to them via the proper route.
It is the person who has experienced some amount of gain from auditing who is most at risk from premature exposure to the materials – because to a greater or lesser degree, they are in a position to potentially come into contact with the substance – force – that underlies the story. And believe me, there’s plenty of that!
As Ripley says, “believe it or not”. One cannot become convinced of these things without experiencing them subjectively.

I gotta think there’s a lot of us – especially fellow staff promised SuperPower, Universe Corps, what have you, that share the same sense of frustration. And I’m not talking about 2.5 year and quit, level of staff. I’m talking about working-your-heart-out-for-several-contracts-staff, doing everything possible to get the Universe Corps (and this applies even more so, to most ex-Sea Org members as well) only to be stuffed back down the tone scale by a midget hard at work destroying LRH’s family and legacy.

In this article Steve (as “Thoughtful”) reveals the OT levels are out there to be had. That the OT III story was scripted by LRH into a movie for public consumption. That you can “do it yourself”. This article had an tremendous de-PTSing effect on me.
Wikileaks was down at the time, for lack of funding, but eventually it came back up and meanwhile having found other channels I downloaded every single piece of tech – upper or not – LRH or not – that I could find. As I said, an incredibly de-PTSing effect. And I didn’t even read past the first page of the OT levels Vol – I just wanted to check that the file opened and the security of knowing I had them. (I haven’t and don’t intend to, preview those materials I have copies stashed all over my universe, before I consider I am truly ready.)

Like Oz’s permission for the lion to display courage, Steve’s wonderful R-factor about solo auditing the whole thing led me into a realization that my e-meter was going to waste out there and I proceeded to study and handle an Int correction I could only have otherwise gotten at Flag, ending the pain and suffering of migraine headaches, then correction lists of every variety that blew charge on the psychotic Org environment DM had created, and loads of L4BRB (out-list corrections) until I could quite happily walk back into my Org (solely for the purpose of rescuing my fellow comerades) as knowing cause, and exert real theta influence on my environment, family and fellow staff once again. (I have already as a result escorted a few beings to spiritual safety. They in turn, are working on others…)
Now I’m on a long break from getting half-way through the original LRH INTROSPECTION RD and handling a lifetime of Introspection so thoroughly well, that my F/N would not turn off. (I’ll stop the bragging – I am only doing so because I want others to have the same wins…)

I don’t think I’d have done those “lower-Bridge” actions so successfully if I had not sparked it off with the realization that the entire Bridge was now “mine”. I’d studied much of it and through my hard work on staff, earned it. That may or may not be a prerequisite to your success, but it sure was for a thetan in my condition.
I did read all of the Class VIII lectures, at one point of which LRH talks about part of what he’s putting together with OTVIII and his thinking on it. Not restimulative at all, nor even silly or nonsensical. Just a “wow – that sure makes sense”. OTIII and other upper phenomena are also mentioned in passing, hence their continued secrecy. Although, I would add that no other person, argument, or anything otherwise could have put me back on the track of “Standard Tech” more thoroughly than to have LRH give it to me in those tapes straight, as to his reasoning. De-mystified, no longer gummed up with Golden Age of Tech laid-in false data, I could finally HAVE with full affinity restored, “pure” Standard Tech.
(Ask yourself why this vital data, which could be easily exported to auditors minus the few passing references to upper phenomena, is not being made available???)
But it’s on a causative basis. I can and do, read other viewpoints, tech and practices. Yet I can sincerely deliver to pcs who want it, “standard-only” application.
I understand and support the ethics viewpoints of those who expressed themselves here in response to Alanzo. Personally I’ve been “prematurely” exposed to varying glimpses of OT III as has anyone who’s really ventured very deep into a study of Scientology on the Internet and/or even accidently, read the entheta news stories.
I can’t honestly tell you that all that did not have an adverse effect, so I have mixed emotions about having done that – but personally I had enough KRC (Knowledge-Responsibility-Control) to spot what was happening and eventually correct it.
I have read commentaries and overviews – this here blog is one – that reveal enough truth thankfully, to help me make informed decisions for when I am ready. And I appreciate that immensely.
In all of my researching this stuff I have tried to get at why the material is secret and/or dangerous, and there are some common reasons that come up – many of them no longer valid! I would like to deconstruct these right here, based on my knowledge and experience far more limited than the Int Base escapees. I would like even more however, to see these more qualified professionals weigh in:
1) the first and foremost reason that I am aware of by reported comments of LRH and his HCOB/PL writings including issues on OT levels security found in OEC 4, and the Illegal pcs reference barring auditing to members of SP groups – was that the OT levels could fall into suppressive hands…
*well guess what? by the early 1970’s the CIA had snapped up full copies of all extant original OT levels and had them in government and military files. Then the top-secret “remote viewing” program (SRI) took off using – Scientology-trained OTs, Hal Puthoff, Pat Price and Ingo Swann. Since those days of producing amazing results, Puthoff stayed on working with the dark side, Price was “heart-attacked” under extremely suspicious circumstances, and only Swann, an artist, really survived but even so. went on to other practices…
*(in a 2009 Int Event David Miscavige had the gall to brag about the use of our OT levels in this very same government remote viewing project! – in other words, it’s “okay” that the government got these dazzling effects from stolen OT materials, but it’s not okay even for a VII to have a copy of a NOTs pack!)
*by the way, a contact of mine informed me that the remote viewers now used in the military that he saw, do so with the aid of mind drugs, tending to prove LRH correct that the restoration of OT ability can’t go far in unethical hands (see also – Black Magic, Left-Hand-Path, etc.) – just as today’s mis-church can no longer make real OTs, the military seemingly abandonded the project for other PDH-centered psi-tech
2) the second is well-known and mentioned by LRH in RJ67 – about the “damage your case and make you sick”.
*this has validity, I am sure (I have some painful subjective reality!) but quite ironically – it seems to depend as Ken Ogger (the Pilot – an early VII completion who did research auditing written up as Super Scio) pointed out, for much of its force and power on #1 above – “secrecy” – or in other words, cut communication. All the other good reasons for keeping the material so quiet are also good reasons people have gotten ill on the other end – in my own example, I was in a “can’t communicate” situation re my exposure to OT III materials and got sick – who knows if that would have happened had I been permitted to ITSA (talk about my perceptions) – but also, maybe someday I will understand why completely, those adverse effects ultimately cleaned up nicely and fully, on Int and List corrections. Still, it left me with a healthy respect for the force in those incidents!

*but wait a minute – knowing I could do this on my own I still prefer to go to a trained person and get: C/Sed, correction listed and otherwise have case set up to do well, indoctrinated in a safe-space course room, etc. (I’ll get down to the shack eventually!)
I look upon Marty and all the other giants of the original tech days with awe and respect. But I worry too, about this issue of where and how OTVIII and the L’s tech that some of them have known about, studied, or seen, will survive. These guys are not going to be around forever (well they will actually, but we haven’t set up a failsafe mechanism for identifying them next time around like they’ve done for the Dalai Lama). And DM is far enough south to burn it all up – what he has of LRH’s notes – if he hasn’t already.
Class XII Pierre Ethier seems to be busy-busy auditing. He’s not released too many articles lately. He trained one other Class VIII on the L’s that I know about. (I heard Marty mention he also knows and does the L’s). There are a couple more Class XIIs out – at least one that I heard is Independent. That’s not a lot of people, though – even counting those XIIs still alive and in the mis-church wanting to be freed!
This technology has to be preserved other than on platinum plates in a secret, undisclosed, US govt-owned(?) land location. I would feel so much better – even if the stuff for whatever good reason was not spread about broadly – knowing that the entirety of the LRH Upper Bridge, notes and comments, was shared and in Independent hands and even more so, if the specialized training for the L’s was made available to add to what we already have in all the other auditor levels through VIII.
Out of this emerges a policy for me personally that I follow, in line with the auditor’s code. I would never discuss or disseminate upper-level data for any other reason than to preserve it (clearly labeled with words of warning that were not out-reality to the uninitiated) in the public domain for those advised of the risks involved, to have available to them. That’s a lot different from squirreling them away in a hiding place accessible to only a few, and tempting fate once again.
Because in the final analysis, knowing what I know about the character of RTC and the remaining tech hierarchy who have physically (but NOT spiritually) survived DM’s assaults – almost as bad – no, even worse than! – as being in government hands! – I feel infinitely better knowing this stuff IS available in the public domain even if I have no intention of looking at it until it is time.
Everyone who maintains this confidentiality among themselves and friends has good reasons and should be supported fully. But let’s not kid ourselves that it’s a good idea that any small group of people (see the dozens of LRH ref’s on that very point archived on this blog) keep them “safely” hidden from us “for our own good”.
And listen, there is no permanent damage possible to a thetan. The only danger I can see is that it could turn people away too soon because it sounds too incredible and, restimulated in part by the forces in the incident, self-invalidation is followed by attacking it – right out of the incident – for being too “incredible”.
Remember also that I think it was Marty who mentioned, LRH once proposed a pilot implying OTIII could be bypassed – though that was never done. LRH himself, in writing the screenplay “Revolt in the Stars” seems to have had second thoughts about the secrecy which is true to his original statements that it would be a very bad thing to ever keep something a privileged secret. It therefore bears repeating:

I have observed almost without exception that Scientology is a self-correcting subject. Left to work among dedicated individuals raising each other higher on the tone and OT scale, it works continual magic even in groups.
Out of reach from the mad midget things actually start going right. I know, because I have been able to compare 3 Orgs in varying degrees of proximity to and with trainees to, Flag, which is the main relay point of contagion, now operating full-throttle to rob Orgs of pcs and force staff to train there, in direct contradiction to the Golden Age of Tech promise that an Org from “here on out” be able to train “perfect auditors” right there in their own Orgs.
So Foremost, your comment seems to not-is the PTS/SP tech, let alone the revelations of the true character of this mad midget at the helm. It also forwards the “enemy”-sounding line that because Orgs are failing means something is fundamentally flawed in the Tech, Policy or personnel. It’s at least “defeatist” – isn’t it?
Almost anyone can think of or come up with “policies” they don’t like or that appear out-moded. Especially since no one, least of all LRH himself, ever asserted it was perfect. (Well, except DM’s implant mantra “it’s now perfect”…)
Well, did you know that when a 3rd dynamic rises up the tone scale these all just fall by the wayside. The Reality level of the group has surpassed the need for such a policy and the self-clearing group, applying ethics and tech, just rises on the scale and that out-moded policy simply isn’t used and certainly isn’t slammed in your nose to make you wrong. (This is when DM/RTC prevails on Flag Bureaux to send the weird ethics mission to the Org to issue wrong indications and knock it back down…)
In a high-toned group, Purpose stays in perspective and stays SENIOR TO POLICY. “HANDLING THE PUBLIC INDIVIDUAL” becomes correctly interpreted as “remember to run good, high-ARC control particularly on public who have no clue” rather than the current “you green staff who have yet to get through an LRH book can and should, yell at and order around and give random indications to, all of those stupid OTs that won’t come to the IAS event”.
Control, control, control. Get your foot in the door and physically slam the old lady against the wall when she says “no” (true story). After all she’s “OT” and “owes her entire existence” to “the man who keeps the tech pure” and “allowed” for her to do her OT levels.
I have seen this process in motion. So much so that I now have total certainty on the innate goodness of man, and even more certainty on MisSavage’s knowing and avowed determination to spoil forever, the entire show for all mankind.
So I beg to differ. Sure, there may be other power-mad clowns around, but none with DM’s ability to restimulate and thereby sieze and maintain power at a critical juncture – involving destroying LRH’s wife and mother of his children – the family, and thereby accomplish near-total control.
And none who will ever again be permitted to assume such total, frighteningly total, control of LRH’s legacy. Ever again.

Actually I’ll weigh in here because I know a little about Super Power having been seconded to NWC for a short time.
First of all it consists of 12 separate rundowns. This is covered in RJ 30.
From what I’ve seen of all the hype from the Church is that they seem to be fixated on what is called the “Perceptics RD” which is why they are supposedly having chairs designed by NASA and what is called the “Cause Resurgence Rundown” which isn’t even part of Super Power.
Never mind the minor detail of building an oval track over top of this huge white elephant called the “Super Power Building” when a simple High School or Middle School track and field have sufficed and is basically what we used when we piloted the RD in LA.
The building in my opinion is just wasted space.
In fact the Ol’man wanted Super Power to be mainly delivered at Saint Hills since it is a rundown that parallels Power but was designed so that it could be audited on a Dianetic Clear.
Since you can’t run Power on a Clear and since Clears were being made on Dianetics.
However unlike Power.
It is an optional rundown and isn’t required.
Sure like the L’s it’ll produce fabulous results but the L’s are not required either!
Maybe you can help me out here Marty by having access to a copy of the RED entitled “Why Something New?”.
This is the question Ron asked back in the early ’70’s when all these lower Orgs were gearing up to deliver the L rundowns based on some rumor that Flag would be exporting them.
It’s a question I ask myself when I read that the Freezone is now delivering Super Power and we have independent Field Auditors who are more interested in delivering the Ls than in delivering the *Grade Chart*

Super Power like the L’s which were originally part of the FEBC and Group Engram Intensives and De-oppression Tech, Post Purpose and Product Clearing, HC , Length of Time to Evaluate Lists and all of that are basically *3rd Dynamic Actions*.
Those designed to make any *Scientology Org* operate more efficiently and smoothly.
They were developed mainly for the *staff* of *Scientology Orgs*.
This is why Ron created the Universe Corp.
To deliver these Rundowns to *staff* first before delivering them to the public.
They were never intended for mass public consumption.
I don’t think Ron ever intended to make any money directly from these rundowns because they were intended for the Staff as gift for all their hard work.
Of course Miscavige and his 5th Invader force has perverted that concept entirely into a money making racket of some kind and have turned it into an excuse for building St. Miscavige’s Cathedral in Clearwater.
That’s just one of the points I want to make.
The second is that whatever the Freezone is calling “Super Power” isn’t because the Super Power Rundowns like the upper OT levels that people say don’t exist exists in notes and recommendations that the Ol’man sent to RTRC to compile into HCOBs.

And like the upper OT Levels.
No one has access to them except CST since they are the custodians of all of Ron’s unpublished works and copyrights.

So personally I don’t know what Miscavige will be releasing this year that he calls “Super Power” but I’m pretty sure given his track record for duplication of the tech it won’t be anything close.
Unless he’s managed to assemble a technical team together to compile all these notes and recommendations into some usable form that can be used to train auditors in any quantity which I frankly doubt.
Besides even if by some lucky miracle they do manage a compilation of these materials into an actual course. They still have to run every Auditor trainee through the KTL/LOC and the Running Program or Cause Resurgence Rundown (which by the way was issued by the Ol’man as an HCOB) maybe some FPRD and possibly a Truth Rundown.
(Never mind the Pro TRs course and all the Levels and NED)
Before they can be trained on how to deliver the RD.
This doesn’t include all the public who will have to go through basically the same steps themselves.
It should be interesting to see how the average public takes the news about all the prerecs never mind the setup required before technically being up to the point where they are able to receive the rundowns.

Lisa was an employee of a “big contributor” (the term used for people who give ’em a lotta money) to the Church by the name of Bernetta Slaughter.
A business woman who like Zwann had some interesting connections in the Intelligence Community
Whether this was factor in Lisa’s demise is purely speculative but what isn’t is the fact that Slaughter wanted Lisa “handled” because the poor girl had went type III or flipped out under her tender “care” having been laden with wrong whys and indications and forced to write up endless O/W write ups etc.
There may have been other factors involved like LSD but we’ll leave that to conspiracy theory.
Anyway dear Bernetta demanded that Flag, you know the Mecca of Technical Deception *handle* Lisa and lucky or unlucky for her as the case will soon be.
Miscavige had arrived at the time on a secret mission to squirrel the tech.
Call it Operation GAT for Golden Age of Tech.
And poor unfortunate Lisa just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
You could say she was the archetype prototype of what can be achieved by applying the Golden Age of Tech exactly by the book.
My understanding from Marty’s testimony by video I think it was, is that Lisa worked for a company that was a major source of potential income for Flag. Seems like DM was trying to impress these owners who were asking him that Lisa get handled, and he took it upon himself to pretend to C/S her and declare her “Clear” before actually achieving the state.
The false indication literally ate her up – at first she ran through the HGC screaming with joy, but she apparently knew deep down it wasn’t true for her and she caved in hard, soon after. And this all may have come on top of badly done, unflat L’s, according to Pierre Ethier’s version from his article on his site.
The result was the pathetic situation that DM so desperately and cynically used to step up IAS donations to “save the church” from the “suppressive” investigations. And from what I gathered, it in turn, precipitated DM’s psychotic break because he just couldn’t face the thought of being dragged into court.
The Lisa McPherson tragedy was a landmark moment in the 3rd dynamic engram. I note that it was the first time in a long time that a major tragic incident swept so widely through the news it couldn’t be kept out of Orgs or their publics. It marks the first moment for many of us, when we had to “invent a reason” a recently attested “Clear” could have a “psychotic break”.
May I politely remind in advance: Lisa never got the INTROSPECTION RD – at least she never got past step 00 and even that wasn’t properly done. Realize that the INTROSPECTION RD is a powerful and widely applicable RD (psychotic breaks are only one of its uses) where it is indicated and properly applied.
Since it is a very applicable remedy for reverse Scientology, it served DM quite well to have it black-PRed so badly that even Org C/Ses shudder at you funny when you ask them to explain it. According to the legal releases we had to sign that were produced after the tragedy, it’s for your “psychotic breaks”. Therefore if you do the rundown you are psychotic, right?
Do you see how insidious that is? Compare that to these LRH statements about it:

This is what happens when people stop looking and thinking for themselves, and stop reading LRH’s bulletins for themselves and allow verbal interpretations to run rampant.
Marty, of course, that goes without saying.
I think people could string random phrases from the Encyclopedia Britannica together into “Tech Bulletins” and still be closer to the real deal than anything McSavage were to put out.

I wrote several mails to you requesting a clarification on the L’s but had no answer.
I fully agree that the L’s should not be delivered to Clears. I had problems with Pierre Ethier regarding that as he seemed to think it was sometimes ok.
The pre-fabricated list of buttons was distributed in the early 80s in the Independent field which is before DM got his mucky paws in there.
Russ Meadows wrote it up with assistance from Cathy Cariotaki.
There are at least 3 versions of the L’s circulating in the FZ and I requested your assistance in creating a good version free of vested interests but was ignored.
My own feeling at the moment is that the L’s are best kept until after OT8. The current OT8 fits at OT4 on the “old” grade chart.
No – thats the recent watered down “OT8”.
I talked to John McMaster about the real LRH OT8 and what is out now does not in any way resemble it.
The LRH OT8 was purely objective processes.
Try running R2-16 exterior.
I understand the value of Act One but to suggest that someone does not need OT8 if they apply it does not at all fit with LRH tech.
