Christmas Eve as a boy I went to Midnight Mass. It always seemed to me, with my body jittering from being up late and with too much excitement in the air, that that time was the most spiritual. An agreement that life could be on a higher plane.

I believe whether we like or it or not or even aware of it or not, mankind is at a turning point or more appropriately stated, is facing a reckoning of his own behavior; he truly doesn’t need anymore whole track incidents.. LRH made it pretty obvious I reckon that mankind in his travels has bought himself by technological magic a little bit of breathing space in amoungst the rigors of survival in this universe. The past is well summerised in the History of Man at a base level, it’s what we do with this window of opportunity that is important, re KSW1.
8,200 years ago the basic data of the Scientology philosophy was introduced in the upper highlands of India (ref. The Perception of Truth tapes, Tape 1 Introduction of the Qs) those that had that data booby trapped it even then by giving procedures which if followed deny abilities. Mysticism is rich in materials but the procedures in it need to be very carefully handled and evaluated. Scientology as a standard unaltered set of procedures will do what is says but with people like DM and others who have influenced it have also booby trapped it.
There is only route, and by the sound of it, you are already on it.
There is only one set of finite data regarding Scientology – Q’s, Logics & two sets of axioms plus a list of scales in Scn 0-8. All the rest is extrapolated from those bascis. No other science I’m aware of comes even close to reducing its data to simplicities like Scientology does.
My personal evaluation after 25 years being involved with the stuff was to look at what data LRH said was standard when he wrote KSW1 in 1965. That was where the subject was doing really well with Saint Hill stats to back it up. I treat the terms, ‘breakthough’ and ‘streamlined’ with extreme caution as they are buzzed up marketing buttons.
From 1965 to 1978 the Bridge was pretty well kept the same – how come it needed changing and changing again and again.Bit fishy hey?
However, there are two sides to the Bridge and both must be walked in unison – best of luck to you.

In 2005 when I “self checked” myself into Qual at Flag on OT V saying: “It’s not that hard to do this.” referring to not getting an F/N indicated when I completed a process…
Well, all the staff in Flag’s Qual scattered (they knew what the problem was. I was not the first person to complain about over-run.) and then I sat in a giant room by myself reading some references, that I knew very well. But, nothing explained the over-run.
I just couldn’t understand what was going on. I had 35 years a fabulous auditing and then it all went down hill. This was 2005.
So, I gave up.
Then, in January 2010 I learned from you of the existence of the arbitrary 3 swing F/N that DM forced into Division IV and V.
Thanks so much for the help. This has been REAL help, because it is help out of the reverse Scientology that is practiced today.

Placi always wrote the music and I wrote the lyrics. The collaboration ended when our FRIENDSHIP was ended by the church. It’s a poignant time for us as our girls are only just learning that this song exists and was written for them at a time when the future looked so beautiful. There has been a lot of pain since that time. But now we are all on the path to fully healing from the damage that was done to our family and becoming strong again. Perhaps the songs will return also. We shall see 🙂

Recently I have been re-reading “a New Slant on Life” by LRH and some words of wisdom in the book caught my attention, as follows.

I don’t know if you folks know that Chapter 3 “Consideration and Mechanics” that included that quote above was removed from the new Scientology 0-8.
The second paragraph above was my favorite. I read it while at a graduation at flag after my L-11, people came up and hugged me with tears in their eyes.
I was totally surprised when I got my new copy and it wasn’t there. I even called to complain. The answer “They probably put it somewhere else.”
I still wonder why???

I joined this blog a couple of years ago, mostly interested in ensuring that REAL Scientology would be able to stay the course of destruction the church set upon it. Through the efforts of a few souls the truth was disseminated…people heard it, they listened…and thought (sometimes quietly, sometimes long) and eventually found their own truth and their own voice. I no longer feel any concern about Scientology’s future. It is here and now with the Independant Scientologist and it will continue to grow as it has been proven time and again that it cannot be killed off by any amount of SP activity presented to it.
This blog, that has established a place to communicate freely and an opportunity to share ideas, expand and/or change viewpoints has been very helpful to me. The freedom to inspect, choose to accept or waste as I determine has unfixed so many uncertainties of what is okay or not okay to do in life. The thought stopping keeps peeling off, layer by layer. It is a joy to have my own viewpoint without being concerned of its acceptability. As more and more people communicate, another begins to listen and there is hope that they too will one day experience those layers coming off. To all those who post or lurk on this blog…thank you for being there…and communicating. Happy Holidays!

The basic tech and philosophy of Scientology is there for the taking by anyone. DM & some others have gone to great lengths to muddy it and deny it to the people of earth. Their goals are somewhat easily exposed by application of the tech (that is what is missing in the Orgs – application!) and the criminal fears one thing above all others – open exposure of their crimes, especially to their victims & if they ever attain equal status, well they really blow a fuse or two.
Ron Hubbard made it quite plain in the legacy of the tech to make it your own. It’s not all that easy as you have to rise above group agreement to some degree but The Code of Honor and the Creed of a Scientologist help in this regard.
The reactive mind is a powerful thing but it follows certain patterns exactly so it can known about and it can be erased, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
If you are new to the philosophy I ask of you one thing – be aware of the (often hidden) demand for perfection in others, absolutes are unobtainable and mental ridges are such sticky things. Understanding is a wonderful thing.
I told you so (haha). “Religious Monoply” is such a contradiction in terms on so many levels. And monopoly in anything only creates a no-game situation, which weighs on everyone including those who own it. Playing tennis with oneself isn’t much fun. Just as we beings like to have a datum of comparable magnitude, we also like to have a choice.
The principal source of money for the Co$ is no longer tech. It’s just charitable gifts, and Miscavige is doing a very creditable job as fund-raiser (but he’s lying, the Bridge no longer exists, and the Co$ is just treasonous to the society and the people in it, a stop).
But the resolution of the Co$ isn’t so easy, because there is a standard of technology to be maintained. I would like to see some consensus on an “end game” develop. IFA has a loose system of accreditation, so one has some notion of who one’s auditor is, who one’s course sup and C/S are, etc., and it is free-market. But of course Indies (later arrivals outside the Co$) want their thing. I’d suggest that now is not the time to start another fight. What is appropriate now is intelligent coordination to provide access to Scientology.
All of you here on this blog have my very best wishes for a wonderful Christmas, Happy New Year and a joyous Holiday Season! I am happily reunited with my son; we are in great communication, and we went to the movies together last night! Our entire family is getting together for our Christmas Eve celebration, Austrian style, for the first time in years! We will miss my mother, the author of this wonderful celebration, who passed away the day after Thanksgiving; but I think she’ll be there, in spirit, happy to see her family together again! She died knowing that my son and I are reunited. DISCONNECTION IS CANCELLED IN MY FAMILY!!!
I have worked long and hard to bring this about, but the courage, information, and support I needed to do this, came from the members of this community, on this blog, and from the standard tech I received as a result. And of course, from L. Ron Hubbard, upon whose technology was based every move that I made, to bring about this happy state of affairs. For this, I will be eternally grateful to all of you! So thank you, Marty and Mosey, for giving us our virtual “meeting place” to all come together, and share ideas and support for one another. And, for any of you still suffering from not being able to communicate with loved ones, you have my Tone 40* Postulate, that in this coming year and by next holiday season, you will be reunited with your loved ones and friends, also. I have a campaign planned for helping this along, as i want others to share in the happiness of being together with loved ones again!

Les, in keeping with your intention of admiring Miscavige, he’s done a great job of destroying the Co$. We all still have a real fight on our hands, and we all have egg on our faces. But he may have done us a favor (a hard one). It is a living practical demonstration of how easily irresponsibie use of a science can creep in, and what happens when it does. It also has shown how “Religious Monopoly” doesn’t work. We should have learned that from the Spanish Inquisition days, but life has its gambles.
This happened earlier this month, and best I know hasn’t been reported here.

10th Annual International Freezone convention- Los Vegas
This has been to the best of my knowledge the largest FZ conference ever, some
70-90 people, including 30-40 Rons Orgs members from Russia and Europe. The host was the genial Rey Robles, who also gave two talks, one on how to find your soulmate, the other how to find your purpose in life.
Two awards were presented by Rey, one to Trey Lotz for his 40 year plus span of
continuous field auditing, and the other to Tatiana who has done so much for the Freezone, putting up websites for many auditors, interviewing many old timers on video and recording on video FZ conferences. She also at the last minute had the hat thrust upon her of simultaneously translating all talks into Russian which she kept up for two days!
The first person introduced was Mark Bunker, a long time “old guard” critic. I was very happy to see this joining of critics and the FZ who both abhor the abuses of CO$. Mark was intertested in finding more people to interview for his upcoming movie project
” Knowledge Report”.
The theme of the conference was ” Para-Scientology”. This theme was kicked off
by Mary Freeman who relayed some of her unusual experiences, such as the cleared theta clear ability to move objects by thought alone. On postulating and discovering that despite having studied all there was to be studied at the time, she was invited to do the new class VIII course, was so overjoyed that she inadvertantly moved a pencil across the desk!
Now I’ve always happened to have an eye for the ladies, and this convention was remarkable for how beautiful and youthful some of these highly trained and audited tech gals are. I don’t know Mary’s exact age, but she started doing Scn in 1962 she said. 49 years ago, and was about to start college I believe. You do the math. She looks like a movie star at the peak of her career! Then there is my dear friend Candy Swanson [ aka Purple Haze] who I happen to know is the exact same age to the day as myself, and I’m well retired. Candy still looks like the young surfer/rock chick she is. Then there is Erica Hauri, looking younger and more beautiful than when I last saw her 6 years ago, and is now a grandmother. All these ladies are class VIII and at or near the top of several bridges. You’ll be able to see them all on video soon.
Hank Levin gave a talk on his various meters and on the second day a talk of how
he and his wife used them to contact those departed.
During one of the breaks I saw a meter dial, some 12 inches in width, displayed on a laptop. Went to investigate and there was a sign saying ” Free Stress Test” 🙂 Had a demo of this meter which was quite sophisticated. There were 3 or 4 different dial displays, the usual bells and whistles of FZ meters, and then some I believe, and a place to display the C/S for the session. This was called the ” Theta- Meter”.

Max and Erica Hauri then spoke about Rons Org and the CBR bridge. One very interesting item, and new to me was that they refuted the idea, possibly OSA black PR, that Captain Bill got his tech telepathically. Max did in fact say the political materials, Sector 9 bulletins for example, were delivered telepathically, but not tech. This should be considered definitive in that Max and Erica worked with CBR and were with him till he passed on.
Trey Lotz gave a very elegant talk on how to find a partner, using the ” Sanity Scale” from ” Org Series 19″.
As an example he compared the ” Hiring step” to dating. Here one recruits a temporary secretary, or implied one may do this several times, and when one finds one
suitable she becomes a very valued Chief Executive Officer, with full board voting rights,
a chauffeur driven limo, access to the company jet and checking accounts, and apartments in New york, LA and the Hamptons. In other words a wife. She then gets into the training step as everyone knows thats what men need at this stage. 🙂
Incidentally I got the chance to briefly chat with Charise Mongiolla of “Scientology Muster” fame. Lovely girl, as cute as a full spec Lamborghini. Dunno if she’s fixed up yet and if not I advise any young fellow to quickly get into the hiring phase before she’s snapped up and off the market. 🙂
John Rafanello aka ” The Magic Thetan” gave a couple of talks, one on his incredible OT experiences, many with cars, and how his early experiences in scientology took him from being a twenty five year old virgin who couldn’t easily talk to girls to one that girls
started asking him for dates. Not sure if this counts as paranormal, but the girl he was with is many many years younger and looks like she walked off the the cover of “Vogue”. His second talk was on how to make contact with ETs. This was billed as a workshop, but was more of a talk as there was no time for a full exposition, but we were given a few group processes to get some idea. I found this quite interesting. John is a great entertainer!
There was a second talk by Max Hauri on problems with CO$ harrassment and the very effective steps taken to combat that, and which will be expanded upon. In earlier days
at least one group was shuddered into silence and vanished. Now a server has been set up in the Netherlands where religious freedom trumps copyright. This built upon the many legal actions of CO$ v Karin Spaink and Zenon Parnousis. The last of which CO$ withdrew from as it was about to lose. The Dutch courts then initiated actions I can’t recall full details of but the result was CO$ can no longer sue Karin and Zenon re copyright, or go to the European court and this appears to cover all similar situations. The CO$ has not been able to take this server down, and if I understand correctly one can mail this web entity and request copies of materials for study purposes.

Next we had some entertainment, Clive Baldwin gave us some songs popularized by
Al Jolson. Clive is blessed by a voice almost exactly like Al’s.
Then Candy Swanson told us some of her history of using tone 40 8C. I often refer to her affectionately as a “dumb blonde”. I can get away with that as we’re friends. However apart from being class VIII she has a couple of university degrees. This is NOT the stuff of “dumb blondes”. She just looks the part. 🙂 She told of some of her experiences using tone 40, especially re getting passports returned in around 1968 when
foreign nationals were not allowed to study in the UK when St Hill was” Flag”. She was on the Apollo with LRH and some time later when the AO had been moved to Edinburgh, she
was the only review auditor, and had to handle the very long back log of stalled cases etc, and just kept on auditing, kept on auditing until all were handled. She was then told by the Chief Executive that she could have anything she wanted, she need only ask. So she asked for her then husband Ira Chaleff to be taken out of the RPF or whatever at St Hill and to join her in Edinburgh. Candy relayed some of her good experiences with Captain Bill, who always created a high ARC environment. Candy was instrumental in the creation of the original Celebrity Centre, and was the only auditor initially and just audited everyone
who arrived. I was very happy to meet her again and invited her back to my wonderful
hostess” The Oracle” and her family’s place for dinner, along with ” Lakey” who I met for the first time after some years of sharing a forum.
Then we had the highlight of the convention, a panel of 5 class VIIIs who answered singly or severally any question the audience had. There was Mary Freeman, Trey Lotz,
John Rafanello, Max Hauri and Candy Swanson. No punches pulled, totally free
communication from all concerned. And then for me the most inspirational moment of the whole convention was the comments into the microphone of another class VIII, Erica Hauri, on the subject of love. All these have been videoed, and I look forward especially to posting around the video of Erica. 🙂

Rey Robles (Class VIII) has studied and documented changes made to the original Bridge of the mid 1970’s. There have been changes other than just the infamous F/N alteration. The F/N is only one of several indicators for an EP: Cognition, very good indicators, and an F/N. If I had a PC chattering happily away about how now he sees toothbrushes in the light of human kindness and now he can love his parents who made him brush his teeth … did I tell you about the time hahah I tried to brush the dog’s teeth … I call that an EP. If the PC brightens up on the indication, then that’s it. One audits the PC, not the darn meter – it’s just a tiny battery with a dial, a tool, not a master.

Unfortunetly or fortunetly I recognized the truth decay that dentists could not remove and I blew. I see what you and your wife go through and I want everything to be fixed. My perceptions as regards the Bridge are as yours, and the workability all but ceased. Maybe you are able to phrase this up accurately: it seems to me that a dilution took place, a dwindling spiral within Scn, and most became concerned with control, and many became stuck. Stuck in dead-end orgs, stuck on the Bridge, stuck in their own universes, (‘stuck’ financially), and controlled BY the tech and Scn, instead of controlling it. There is a big difference between control OF and control BY. The data and tech were designed to be used as a science to enable an individual to not just seek, but to actually find for himself, his spiritual awareness, establish his own ethics, assume responsibility, and live. Today I see people satisfied (or disappointed) with achievements which are utterly mediocre compared to the original.
The data was so hard to get, so very slipppery and elusive it makes the proverbial mercury seem like epoxy, yet once found, is so surprisingly simple (as well as astoundingly profound), it seems to be almost as elusive to really understand its depth. “Man is a spirit”, for example: many just say, “Oh, yeah, well … I knew that. Hey! Did you see the Yankees?!” Auditing is not complicated, but it does require duplication of the PC, care, smarts. A tool (or a science) only belongs to the individual who can master it.

Hey Carcha, I agree with you too. The Bridge is right there, hiding in plain sight.
LRH beat the drum on workability all his working existence. Many I have known see the tech as something hard to understand or seem to require a lot of explantion just to see a simplicity. I cannot phrase it better even to myself no matter how much I try without evaluating bordering on invalidation. I sup’d for years and one outstanding observation was so few actually pushed through to become auditors. Yet at Saint Hill in the 60’s even the Execs were chomping at the bit to get trained. What was different then? LRH was on lines and what tech his C/Sd with and what checksheets were available then seem to be a far cry from what followed after he went off lines. Plus, per study tape 1, better than 50% of the subject is how you do it, not the data. Get rid of the experienced and you get rid of the workability.
It seems to me the full enlightenment available with Scientology is not available via other determinism. The Saint Hill Org must have been really something. Probably a unique group phenomenon very hard to duplicate, even though one hell of a lot of Policy was written so it could be duplicated – Policy/Admin needs to be applied as well – dilution is a good term you used.
I agree it was diluted, time and time again the results were more and more morphed into finance and control orientation rather than tech results. Gradient scales use is a double edged sword, it works for the negative as well.
My data evaluation made me look at where the subject was last doing well and I made my own observations at what tech was dropped off/out.
I briefly had the help of few wonderful terminals, unfortuantely both have died recently but were around in those heady days of Saint Hill.
I don’t happen to believe the alternate route to Clear is alternate at all. I wont go into it here but it presented a reality of the Bridge which is unshakeable – R6EW properly done is a wild ride for which you are never the same again, you just can’t be.
The Bridge is walked from where YOU have a reality on it – for God’s sake don’t buy somebodies elses’!
That was a LOT of what Jesus was about (if one focuses on the outer aspects of his ministry and not the inner, spiritual, esoteric I-am-the-son-of-God stuff. I believe in most of that stuff, so I am kind of biased)
Most of his interactions with his own religion was chastisement or out and out anger with their practices. The only time he ever became anything close to violent was when he threw the merchant lenders and money changers out of the Jerusalem temple. To paraphrase the incident, “you have made it a den of thieves.”
He didn’t want to start a new religion. He wanted the old one to work right. For the widows and orphans, not the bankers and religious experts.

Thank you for your reply. Helps me fit pieces together. There’s a lot you’ve said there! The study tapes were the 1st ones I went for. I’ve found auditing someone is really a piece of cake – all that charge is just begging for a terminal to flow to, and the processes take the lynch pins out so fast you have to stand back or the laughter bowls you over. Moral is a big factor, gradiently getting bigger results, doing “lower Bridge” in full, finding, watching the bowling pins go “Poof!” – domino effect on mental mass, PC looking at you like you’re the first person they’ve ever seen.
As you have said, auditing with intent to full EP (R6EW – Clear) and not compromising with OT is “hiding in plain sight”. Like thetans in bodies, really OTs hiding in plain sight. I hate to sound naive, but I’m going to have to ask you – I’d never heard of an “alternate route to Clear”??

Spot on! It amazes me the dupes hang up in the Co$ when they could get much better quality – and I mean GET it, not just dream about it “someday .. someday”. I see these supposedly smart guys gifting $10,000,000 at a time when they could have the genuine line up for affordable prices outside … it’s just mind boggling. And the slaves getting paid nothing.

The Sea Org leaders should be Class 12 Case Supervisors, able to competently service FSO and FSSO public as C/Ses and auditors and act as excellent repair auditors (CMO crackerjack unit, the RTC tech sidechecking people, all failed, but that doesn’t mean this shouldn’t be still done if one’s gonna fix the official movement). Flag Ship Order “Command Intention” of the late 1960s or early 1970s said this in principle.
Miscavige hobbyhorses the GO era defense/legal/finance mindset.
A non expert practitioner shouldn’t be running a spiritual therapy practice movement.
One major difference between LRH and Miscavige, is that most human beings would go “in session” were LRH to sit down with them and do the Scientology spiritual practice. Miscavige’s auditor beingness causes patient/preclear fear.
Heber at least could present a suitable auditor beingness, and not instill fear in those he spoke with. Me, I’d let Heber, as ‘bad off” as he is, just take over ALL master of ceremonies jobs for all Scientology events.
Can’t have a terror instilling leader of a therapy spiritual practice movement that is supposed to succor people spiritually.
Miscavige is Mr. “Swinish suspicion” who constantly permanently breaks the auditor’s code by instilling fear in the patient/preclears. He’s bullied all from correcting him on any tech or admin mistakes he’s made in decades.
Miscavige would be hard pressed to pass legitimately his TRs video, due to his swinish suspicion auditor’s code additive beingness, his brusque dismissive attitude would take considerable Mood TRs to drill out of him, but no one dares cram or correct him.
Compared to LRH’s speaking voice in LRH’s final Ron’s Journals, that’s what the movement has lost.

Tech, Auditor, C/S or Sup. training, with it’s esteemed
VFP, certified and highly qualified practitioners of the
“Tech ” I never the less, had the privilege of supporting
encouraging and celebrating the life changing wins,
that were my dear wife’s as she trained her way up to
CLASS 5 NED AUDITOR
Certain debilitating illnesses and difficulties, have made
our own progress up ” the bridge,” all but non existent,
although my wife still does an enormous amount of
voluntary work, involving the broad use of LRH Tech, where she has literally hundreds of persons reliant
on her “services”
Having said the above, I have hardly waivered in my
personal study & application of “THE” philosophy of
LRH and constant reference to the ORIGINAL basic
books and Wonderful TR’s as daily LIFE TOOLS!!
The BEST thing to have happened to me, though,

and reinvigorating FREE,OPEN communication,”
MARTY RATHBUN’s powerhouse blog and it’s
DYNAMIC by product;- “The Independents” (Amen)
You both, for me, are Shining Examples of the
POWER of LRH TECH, & Philosophy, as you continue
‘walking the talk” with obvious care,love & ARC, which
are synonymous with the original goals & purposes
of LRH.

Marty, Mosey, Mike, Steve and the Mighty Indepenedents, it has been a hard year but, as the old Apollo Troupe used to sing when things were going right, when Scientology was actually helping many people, when people who had been helped were helping many other people, when it was safe to go into a mission or an org expecting to get what you had been promised,
“We are going up while the world is going down”
The world going down in this case is Corporate Scientology (far removed from the work and efforts of L Ron Hubbard), and the Independendents are going up Today.
Scientology in it’s pure form will obliterate it’s cheap copies every time.
Selling altered Scientology is as stupid as selling water in a bottle and calling it the best Gin in the world!

If you do a bit of research in the Red Vols look for the Bridge as LRH set it out in 1965. Later that route to Clear was called “alternate” for those who didn’t go clear on NED.
I won’t say much more than that except to say a whole bunch of tech just sort of slipped away and the Solo route with the group of processes encompassing R6EW dropped off the Bridge. Also Power processes and the auditor training necessary also slipped out of the upper orgs. It’s becoming a lost tech especially the expertise to supervise & C/S it.
I really don’t like the executive C/Sing that has crept in, it really is suppressive and messes cases up.
It seems a lot of people have trouble with GPM technology. With the way the Briefing Course has been altered I don’t doubt it but the wonderment of that technology is as expansive as an OT can postulate.
All I did was stick with it as that is what is real to me and communicates as the Bridge. I did a couple of years of Solo NOTS but that route in DMs Church never made much sense to me, I couldn’t stomach someone elses idea of how and what I’m meant to cognite on. As I’ve said before you walk the Bridge from where you have a reality of it.
The best advice I reckon is get your fundamentals squared away, that is study tech plus TRs and if you can arrange a co-audit, all the better. The Bridge must be kept open. Marty & co have done a great job at holding their space but everything the indies do that is standard sure helps.

Since I left the S.O, for years I felt like a ‘leaf in the wind’, and the only phone comm from the Co$ was to ‘come to an event’ or ‘requests for donations.’
