Why for the Golden Age of Tech and F/N confusion

Many people here have pointed out David Miscavige’s technical “why” that lead to the Golden Age of Tech (the blind have been leading the blind) is not a why since it can lead one to ask “why?” of the “why.”   Others have pointed out that if it were the why, then the “who” would be David Miscavige since he had been leading the way for a decade and a half by then.  I have reported earlier on this blog that Miscavige did not even do an evaluation that then lead to the Golden Age of Tech.  He read an eval at the event that released his handling that had been in the works for many months. He wrote the eval as his speech (with the help of Danny Boy of course) the week leading up the the event.

All of your comments got me to thinking about the why for the Golden Age of Tech.  I did my own eval.

Policy:  Keeping Scientology Working

Situation:  Church auditors are being trained to be slaves to procedure, a method LRH stated could lead to the loss of the entire subject of Scientology.

Data:

Toward the end of his life LRH made his technical intentions abundantly clear.  After thirty years of development, he narrowed down all major technical problems to two related situations; poor TRs and poor metering. That is why he wrote the technical training film treatments. That is also why he established Golden Era Productions – to produce those films.  That is also why during his last five years, his repeated only wish was to return to the Int base (where Golden Era Productions was located) so that he could complete the Technical Training films. Each of LRH’s film treatment titles was preceded by either the designation “EM” (for Emeter training film) or “TR” (for Training Routine training film). LRH reasoned that  given good TRs and accurate metering an auditor could not help but get case gain on pcs.  It aligned with his SHSBC warning that the only way Scientology could be lost was by Scientologists becoming slaves to procedure. Procedure anyone can learn and do. It was TR’s and metering that were the key to making any procedure work.

correct target – LRH, correct relative importance – LRH, Correct Source – LRH

Instead of completing the films, LRH spent the last five years of his life in seclusion, securely planted there by Miscavige’s deft false reporting ability. On the one hand he reported how LRH would wind up publicly pilloried and possibly in the penitentiary if were to come anywhere near the Int base. On the other hand he continually reported how he was on the verge of attaining an All Clear so that all of that would change.

Incorrectly included false reports – DM, added time – DM, altered importance – DM, Falsehoods – DM

While LRH’s body withered and he ultimately moved on, DM cross ordered LRH by creating ostentatious studios, over-the-top Hollywood level film standards and a whole new “priority” for Golden Era Productions (DM’s event extravaganzas).  As a result, the tech  films were not completed in LRH’s lifetime. Another decade passed and the films were still not completed. A project LRH intended to complete in a matter of months had been delayed for a decade and a half.

Added time – DM, Added inapplicable arbitrary standards – DM, Incorrectly included mega ego – DM, Wrong Source – DM

On the heels of tax exemption (Oct 93) DM spent much of the ensuing two years at Flag.  He pushed a program (brilliantly executed by Bitty Miscavige with the help of Tom Devocht and many others) to upgrade hotel and service areas of FSO.  All cockroaches were cleared out, spaces were renovated and tidied, they even had drinks with umbrellas served to Flag public in the HGC waiting areas.

Adequate MEST upgrade -DM, Bitty, Tom

The MEST upgrades were wildly popular with Flag public who were tired of  paying through the nose to have a session in a 98 degree room while dodging cockroaches. DM basked in the glory. It was like Mussolini making the trains run on time. He made regular appearances at Flag graduation. He had Source mag put his mug on the cover and position the new Flag as his creation. However, with stardom came responsibilities.  DM’s glad handing with public gave them access to bitterly complain about the technical standards at Flag.  Since he had positioned himself, and advertised himself, as being fully responsible for the “new Flag” from top to bottom, he now had to take a look at what was happening technically.

Incorrectly included ego – DM, Wrong Source – DM

Conducting look-in at Flag HGC’s, DM saw the obvious – some overworked, underpaid, unexercised, underfed, unaudited, physically ailing, aging Class XIIs were calling stuck needles “floating needles.” DM – apparently blinded by his hellacious crimes againt L Ron Hubbard and his life-long evaluated terminated handling for out tech – decided LRH was wrong. The reason, pronounced DM, for people calling stuck needles F/Ns was not horrendous TRs and metering (which was absolutely evident), but instead “they don’t know how to get an F/N.”

Wrong Source – DM

DM instituted requirements that all TR and Metering passes in all technical training be approved by RTC Reps.  The Reps assigned, like DM, for the most part had very little training and even less experience in the chair delivering the Bridge.  All were the  lowest form of DM-lackey robots enforcing DM’s arbitrary, blanket pronunciamentos concerning TRs and Metering.  DM cross ordered the majority of the Int base and for months had them working on hundreds of binders of drills on PROCEDURE.  He then proceeded to jam the binders down the throats of every Scientologist internationally, bringing delivery of Scientology as it was once known to a grinding halt.  Because he couldn’t spot an F/N himself if it loosely and lazily kissed his own eyebrow, DM redefined a floating needle as three even swings of the needle.  In one fell swoop DM brought widespread ruination of cases across the globe.  Prolongation of the situation threatens the very future of the subject of Scientology. Recently, DM committed the final sacrilige, reshooting the last existing LRH directed, narrated and produced technical training film (The Professional TRs Course, where LRH coached and passed TRs students were, we thought, forever captured on celluloid).

Wrong Source – DM.  Incorrectly included tech arbitraries – DM

Outpoint count:

Predominantly Wrong Source and Incorrectly included

majority of outpoints assigned to David Miscavige

Why: To prove his  wrong why “they don’t know how to get an F/N” right, and to make the rest of the world wrong, Miscavige made Scientologists slaves to procedure and redefined an F/N so that nobody could achieve one.

Who: David Miscavige

Resources:  LRH Tech readily available to the world. LRH trained technical compilers in the independent movement. Hundreds of trained Scientologists who have rejected Miscavology.

Handling:

1.  Cancel Golden Age of Tech.  DONE by this issue

2. Cancel RTC “passes” requirements on TR’s and metering. DONE by this issue.

3. Reinstate Academy Level and higher class auditor training to pre 96 (pre-GAT) checksheets and material, where a student does TRs in a disciplined and purposeful manner , and learns metering and TR’s from LRH material and LRH meter drilling (as sup’d by auditors with lots of VWDAHs under their belts).

Recommended Reading: Tao Te Ching

I have added the Tao Te Ching to the “recommended reading” section of this blog.

There is a particularly good translation by Stephen Mitchell currently on the market and available at major bookstores or on Amazon.

It is a book one can read over and over and get something new and useful from each time.  It is a pleasant read.  In a simple and poetic manner it captures the fundamental truths upon which Scientology is based.  The Factors and Axioms and basic truths of Scientology stem from the Tao.  LRH made that clear in the “Scientology, Its General Background” lectures – part of the Phoenix lectures series. He said there, “…who knows but what if we took the Tao just as written and knowing what we know already about Scientology, we simply set out to practice the Tao, I don’t know but what we wouldn’t get a Theta Clear.”

I believe that statement is true.  That organizationally things did not go in that direction does not make the statement untrue. How Scientology diverted from the Tao is a major theme of a long-term investigation of mine; the results of which I’ll share when I’m there.

One thing I believe the Tao can do for you is to help distinguish the positive you may have gotten out of Scientology from the negative.  It might help you to validate and reinforce the positive, while jettisoning the negative.

Warning: Grab your vomit bags before viewing

This is pure, unadulterated David Miscavige.   He wants to make “ass kickers.”  Problem is real ass kickers, don’t go around bragging how they can kick ass.  Real ass kickers don’t physically and literally kick ass because they figuratively kick ass by virtue of their abilities to get the job done in a way that raises the tone of those in their environment. Every real ass kicker in Scientology has long since left the church of Miscavology.

As far as “winning is everything” – in my opinion, that implanted lesson may have served as the justification for more mass murder in this planet’s history than any other.   Another exhibit for the proposition that the church is dead.

Reconnection With Distant Relatives

You may have noticed I haven’t been too active on the blog for the past week.  I’ve been busy and will fill you in here on some of it.

If there is a single policy that can be identified as causing the most widespread harm to independent thought in Scientology it is “Disconnect.”   Its remedy is simple.  Don’t agree with it. Instead of continuing to be shackled by other-determined disconnection, simply and effortlessly reconnect.  As much weakening and uncertainty that other-determined disconnection brings, self-determined Reconnection brings comparable strength and certainty. I have had a week of it and found it beyond invigorating and productive.

We had a most inspiring week along the Underground Railroad of the Great Lakes region.

First, Monique and I spent a couple days with the irrepressible Sarge.

Old compadres at Lake Michigan

Sarge doing street performance; as entertaining as ever.

Sarge and I got to do some exploring along the original, historic Underground Railroad of Southern Michigan.  We viewed the caves where escaped slaves were hidden from bounty hunters on their way along the railroad to Canada.  This outing was inspiring and gave perspective  for our Underground Railroad planning for the region.  Around the Great Lakes our railroad  now has active stop-overs in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Minnesota, and Ontario.

Checking out underground railroad cave along the St Joseph river

I was able to spend some quality time with my old comrade Jesse Prince.  Jesse was the last man to security check David Miscavige at LRH’s direction.  Jesse got his withholds and duly reported them to LRH.  Unfortunately, the report never made it because it went through Broeker who was implicated in Miscavige’s crimes. So, LRH was kept in the dark and the rest is our own dark history.  Because Jesse was unwilling to choose sides in the Broeker/Miscavige power struggle he was targeted for extinction by DM.  But, you can’t keep a good man down – and Jesse is a Phoenix if there ever was one.

Distant Relatives

Jesse marked an interesting sort of tipping point. I calculated the number of years of RTC service that terminals available and connected to Miscavige have combined vs the number of years of RTC service that terminals connected with me in present time have.  Well, Jesse just tipped the balance in our favor.

Our own modern day Harriet Tubman made this underground railroad pilgramage possible.  Those who have done much alternate, common people oriented history study know this is about the highest compliment one could pay any one (for a quick synopsis see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harriet_Tubman ).  Well, I’m paying it. Harriet, in keeping with the original’s expertise at Fabian tactics, will remain unnamed for the moment.

I learned quite a bit from Sarge and Jesse and other brothers I met with along the way.

If you are in the mood to invest a few minutes, you can listen the song below. It explains why I refer to Jesse and Sarge and Harriet and all of you as distant relatives.

Russia

You may have caught wind of some government action recently taken to ban certain Scientology publications in Russia.  Max Hauri, who formed the largest independent Scientology service facility in the world to my knowledge, wrote to me of the problem recently. I inquired of Max whether they needed money or other types of support. He said they did not need that. In fact, he said the best thing that Independents in other countries could do was to continue the work to differentiate Scientology the practice from the Church of Scientology the organization.   Max, who is intimately familiar with the local situation and its causes, is convinced it is the espionage and Machiavellian activies of Miscavige’s church that has brought about the current state of affairs in Russia.  I asked Max to put a little something together to explain the situation from his perspective. His article follows. While Max encourages us to pick up what we are doing stateside, I don’t think it will hurt for anyone with influence or reliable terminals in Russia to drop Max a line, theta@ronsorg.ch.

The Shades of Night

During 1997 some Russians contacted us and wanted to know about the delivery of Scientology, independent of the church. So we went there and started to deliver from scratch – HQS and on up to the OT levels. I’ll keep it very short on that now, but it was an extremely intensive time and a lot of things happened of course, including visits of the FSB (i.e. KGB).

The subject I am writing about is actually KSW 1, having the correct technology. We were very lucky as the law and government structures were almost not existent so nobody cared about copyright. Or at least nobody did, or could do, anything against translating and disseminating the books, bulletins and tapes in Russian.

It was really great to see how Scientology expands if it is not suppressed.

First there was of course almost no bad reputation about Scientology extant but later on it started and became stronger and stronger.

Divide et Impera, in English Divide and Rule, or also known as Divide and Conquer. Machiavelli advised that a Captain should endeavor with every art to divide the forces of the enemy, either by making him suspicious of his men in whom he trusted, or by giving him cause that he has to separate his forces, and, because of this, become weaker.

Miscavige did just an “awfully good job” in that so that the press and mass media have endless stories about “how bad Scientology is”. Due to that it is factually very easy to convince any official that he or she has to do something about it.

Since I left the church, I know factually that all Scientologists are good and dedicated people, there is rarely an exception. Unfortunately there is one big exception.

Thanks to the aggressive work by Miscavige, in Germany you run into problems with an official every once in a while. A friend of mine wants to have his child in a nursery. He told me yesterday that he would have to sign a document that he is not doing Scientology, nor having any contact with it, nor having ever done etc. It is just discrimination. Those capable of reading German can see an example here, page 14 and 15: http://www.justiz.bayern.de/imperia/md/content/stmj_internet/gerichte/oberlandesgerichte/nuernberg/rref/bewerbung_alle_vordrucke.pdf

So getting rid of the suppression of the church has priority. In other words Miscavige has to be stopped suppressing Scientologists and Scientology.

In Russia we run now into even more severe troubles. Hopefully we can handle it soon, lawyers are already evaluating the scene. A few months ago approximately four tape series had been found to be extremist and will be banned from distribution in Russia, and a few weeks ago almost all of the Scientology books too. Those who can read Cyrillic can see it here, nr. 632-660: http://www.minjust.ru/ru/activity/nko/fedspisok/

The punishment for disseminating those items ranges from a fine of 3,000 Rubles up to imprisonment.

We have clever and dedicated Scientologists in Russia, I hope they can do something about it, it is a serious threat.

I have to advise you strongly to support the activities of Marty and Mike, it is important that we improve the PR of Scientology from inside, it is devastating if Scientologists are leaving the church with all those horrible stories – which are, worst of all, so very true and often impossible to put into words at all.

The other advice I have to give to you, apply Scientology, deliver. You have the liberty, use it. You will realize what liberty is when you lose it – again.

Do not let it happen again.

The shades of night. Now we’ve got a period here of a very short space of time.”

“But it became terribly important to them to shut all the boundaries on knowledge. And you’ve seen those things, those curtains shutting down. And those were the shades of night falling.” PDC 21.

David Miscavige tries to keep up with Tom Cruise

For background, I recommend you pull up my video’d St Pete Time’s interview posted almost a year ago at: http://www.tampabay.com/components/video/?bcpid=26806137001&bclid=26821275001&bctid=26948342001

This is the interview segment titled “Command and Control”. Please watch and listen to a one minute section, 05:39 to the end of that segment at 06:39.  I discussed how David Miscavige had a personal tanning table in his apartment in Clearwater especially for events.  He made a practice of making other Int speakers work around the clock for days, with very little if any sleep, and no contact with the out of doors sometimes for months leading to events. Miscavige, by contrast, would get his beauty rest, and apparently to make himself  look like the picture of health compared to the other speakers he would take a number of carefully scheduled sun baths under his special sunning table.

Miscavige recently ordered the renovation of the three Villas that used to serve as RTC offices, his offices, and berthing for a number of RTC and Int execs. The top Villa is now exclusively his personal living quarters. The middle Villa houses his personal staff. The third Villa is a specially appointed space for his guests, mainly celebrities and N.Y. and D.C. attorneys.  The Villas were re-constructed to the highest luxury standards and they are blocked off from the road by an imposing eight foot wall.   The cost of Miscavige’s personal space on the Int base alone far exceeds any individual space LRH ever resided and worked in, yes, after adjustment for inflation.  And Miscavige has similar haunts in Los Angeles, Clearwater, St Hill, and the Freewinds; not to mention at several of CST’s remote vault locations.

Back to a relatively narrow  point.  Miscavige – despite living in a desertous environment where temperatures regularly top 100 degrees – ordered his Villa outfitted with the latest, most outlandish sun chamber station.  Well, here it is:

And to ensure he always looks fit and can flaunt his biceps in his tailor made muscle shirts in order to intimdate Int and Gold staff Miscavige had a state of the art gym constructed for his own self.  The one he constructed for himself and Cruise in the nineties was perfectly servicable. But, as is Miscavige’s wont, he wanted all the latest, high-tech equipment in a specially constructed room adjoining his quarters. He so reactively must keep up with Tom Cruise that he continually, blantantly puts the church’s hard-won tax exemption at risk by building temples everywhere he walks so that his precious feet may never touch the same ground walked on by what he considers mere riff raff.  The evidence follows. Note the punching bag.

Understand, I like the sun too; great source of vitamin D and energy.  But, there is plenty of free sunshine on this planet to provide that. I also like to work out. It costs me 20 bucks a month at the community center.  Well, you gotta mix with regular folk, but if you like people it’s a pleasure.  At 20 bucks a month I calculate that it will take church public 50,000 months to pay off DM’s gym bill.  That is more than four thousands years; or about how long it took the Western civilization to evolve from hunting and gathering to where we are now.

As Miscavige might put it (as scripted by Dan Sherman), “Now that’s building a new civilization!”

Of course, like all else, DM will blame it on LRH. Let me guess. He’ll say it is per LRH ED 339R, THINK IN FUTURES.

Second Dynamic

It has come to my attention recently that a couple of people have used good things I’ve said about them in the past to establish trust relationships with others and then severely breached those trusts.  One was a formal auditing relationship. Another started relationships under the pretext of using Scientology to help sort people’s lives out.  In each of those instances the person trusted took advantage of those who trusted them on the 2D.

A lot of people have asked me to give my blessings for them to start a 2D with someone.  For some time now, I have given the same pat advice to whomever asks.  That is something like this:

The Second Dynamic is one of eight dynamics; it is no more or less important than any other one. The 2D can be very abberative for a number of reasons. One strong reason is the genetic and hormonal urge to forward the species is connected with the 2D.  My advice is that no matter how strong the passion, no matter how strong the “electricity”, you’d best remember that the Second Dynamic is only one of eight dynamics. If you are so hardwired to the body that the second is all that seems to matter, then you ought not be making decisions on the second dynamic. You ought to be using the many tools that can help span your attention and raise your tone so as to  become aware of all your dynamics.  If you are going to get into a relationship you are in for trouble if you don’t take care to be sure the prospective relationship aligns with the rest of your dynamics. If it does not you are guaranteed trouble. If it does, you’ve got it made.

When it comes to hearing of people using a relationship of trust, whether it is a formal auditing relationship, acting as a Chaplain or an Ethics Officer, or any other Scientology advisor type of relationship, I have zero tolerance.  I happen to agree with what LRH says about the matter in Science of Survival:

An auditor who is a wise auditor will steadfastly refuse sexual relations with a preclear. The auditor who yields to temptation at this level finds himself in a bad situation because his preclear is on the way up and will shortly pass this propitiative level and achieve more honorable levels of the Tone Scale. Auditors who, knowing this, permit themselves such actions are themselves at the 1.1 level and have no business auditing. None but a despicable cur would seek to benefit from this phenomenon; none but a chronic or acute psychotic would find enjoyment in it.

Promiscuity is a 1.1 trait, pure and simple.  It tears orgs apart. It is tearing the international Scientology org network apart at this moment because it is unchecked at the very top.

I have no authority nor inclination to probe into or control peoples’ personal lives and will make no effort to do so. Far be it for a guy who gets busted on Bourbon Street to be moralizing. At the same time, I have standards when it comes to actions that adversely effect others and particularly when someone uses my name or Scientology to do so.  If someone starts abusing Scientology to obtain sexual favors, he or she is no friend of mine.

This is an ethics gradient.  No names.  However, if in the future I find anyone using an alleged friendship with me to establish a Scientology relation of trust along this line, next time there will be names.

While we are on the subject of the 2D, I have a little something that might blow some charge, or perhaps bypass some depending on your point of view.  I saw some fairly extensive notes of LRH that he wrote in his final years.  He quite explicitly stated that the entire problem with breach of monogamy (beyond the physical risk of STDs)  is the breach of trust and the lies connected with it.  He said nary a word about whole track implants and the like (i.e. Pain and Sex).  For the robots who want to accuse me of  “verbal tech”, what am I to do?  DM will never publish the writings to which I refer – he is way too sick on the 2d for them to see the light of day.  Am I to just keep what I observed to myself?  When pigs fly.  You can take it or leave it.

The Second Dynamic can be a beautiful thing that enhances all other dynamics. After all, it encompasses the activity of creation. Why destroy in the name of creation?

Int Mgmt Bulletin 116R – Solve It With Scientology

To anyone who has been regged to pay a penny (or millions of dollars)  for IAS, Idle Orgs, Super Power, or any other “project” that was touted as more important than paying for auditing and training services, I highly recommend that you read Int Management Bulletin 116R.  Just press the link here for a pdf copy.

IMB_116_R

Twenty-one years ago when there was such a thing called “International Management” and ED Int’s Int Management Exec Committee, there was semblance of consideration for LRH policy. This issue was written by one Jens Urskov as Gross Income Exec Int. He may have been holding that position from above. For many years Jens was D/ED Int.  That was because the guy knew policy cold, and was deft at applying it to situations.  In fact, I believe he was the one constant holding IMEC together performing the irreducible minimum through a perpetual and sadistic game of Musical Chairs DM played for twenty years with IMEC.  Just about anything relatively sensible Guillaume ever issued in his own name was more than likely written by Jens.

Jens therefore was hated by DM.  He was belittled into horrible health  and a state of  spiritual invalidation. I’d like others who were familiar with IMEC and Jens to weigh in here. These are my impressions, and I spent more time away from the base than ever did at the base.  I also find it interesting the date of the revised issue coincides with a small minority of International Management executives attempting to nip the incipient, fledgling IAS crim regging in the bud.  Paul Grady – who I believe was Action Chief CMO INT – went down about this time for objecting to IAS crashing FSO gross income.

In either event, here is an International Management Bulletin that explicitly makes the same policy argument we’ve been making for a year as to the criminal and off source nature of “straight donos”.  It was not issued once. It was issued twice, in 1987 and 1989.

For anyone trying to sober up a severe kool-aid case, you should be able to go to town with this issue.

Have fun.
