Good Morning America, Meet Debbie Cook and UPDATE

Please click this link, Good Morning America, Meet Debbie Cook

UPDATE: 4:37 pm Central Standard Time:

The GMA story was originally planned as a teaser for tonight’s edition of ABC Nightline.  However, the Scn corporation has had a gaggle of high-priced lawyers (at great expense to donating public) bombarding ABC News with threats and lies all day long yesterday and today.  It finally got the point where ABC decided to punt (for now) because it was distracting the business of reporting contemporaneously on world affairs.  Because it was not unexpected by me I never mentioned the planned broadcast.  This is about the sixth major network show I am aware of on the crimes of David Miscavige that has been spiked in the past eighteen months.  At the end of the day the tension of each new spike (cover up and killing)  adds numbers of professionals in the journalism field to the ranks of the educated on the tactics of Miscavige’s mafia like organization.  Be assured that that cummulative tension will have a deleterious effect  (and actually does have as time goes by) on the perpetrator of the lie-based threats.  The chickens always come home to roost. The detailed story of how corporate Scientology accomplishes such results (with specifics on all of the shows I have alluded to above) will be covered in my second book (including documents that prove it), The Scientology Reformation, which will be out some time after the first book.

See the following written story on ABC NEWs summarizing the GMA story, GMA story summary.  Notice the three Scientology videos that were placed on the LEFT hand column as appeasement to Miscavige and co (the transaction for which serves as a vehicle to transfer funds to ABC).  Also note the sock puppets jumping all over the comments section of that story.   Have a great weekend.

Reformation – Division Within Corporate Scientology

Wonder if the times are really changing? On the first day of 2012 a very prominent self-professed corporate Scientologist in good standing has overtly announced a clear division within the ranks.

Former Captain Flag Service Organization Debbie Cook, who avows to abide by the disconnect policy as administered and adjudicated by David Miscavige, has announced to fellow corporate Scientologists that as far as certain policy violations go, enough is enough.

In a skilled use of the Public Relations series, Debbie characterizes abuses in a euphemistic manner so that corporate Scientologists might read and think about the gaping holes in the side of the corporate Scientology ship.  Note the Monique-Yiglingesque disavowal of the outside world having any role in correcting the beast; for many this letter will be somewhat safe to read.  For the unvarnished truth of what Debbie Cook experienced, please see:

The Final Purges Part I

The Final Purges Part II

The Final Purges Part III

This latest development will have no radical, immediate results.  However, many corporate minds that have been well-steeled against truth will be penetrated and begin to ponder what is really going on.  The letter represents the current well-withheld thoughts of a number of other prominent corporate Scientologists.  Look for some of them to make some noise in early 2012.

This year has begun with a most interesting, if predictable, development.

Prepare to deliver.

Debbie Cook’s email:

Dear Friend,
I am emailing you as a friend and fellow Scientologist. As we enter a new
year, it is hoped that 2012 can be a year of great dissemination and a year
of real progress up The Bridge for all Scientologists.

Although I am not in the Sea Org right now, I served in the Sea Org at Flag
for 29 years. 17 of those years were as Captain FSO. I am a trained auditor
and C/S as well as an OEC, FEBC and DSEC.

I am completely dedicated to the technology of Dianetics and Scientology and
the works of LRH. I have seen some of the most stunning and miraculous
results in the application of LRH technology and I absolutely know it is
worth fighting to keep it pure and unadulterated.

My husband and I are in good standing and we are not connected with anyone
who is not in good standing. We have steadfastly refused to speak to any
media, even though many have contacted us.

But I do have some very serious concerns about out-KSW that I see permeating
the Scientology religion.

I have the utmost respect for the thousands of dedicated Scientologists and
Sea Org members. Together, we have come through everything this world could
throw at us and have some real impingement on the world around us. I am
proud of our accomplishments and I know you are too.
However there is no question that this new age of continuous fundraising is
not our finest moment.

LRH says in HCO PL 9 Jan 51, An Essay on Management,
“drop no curtains between the organization and the public about anything.”
-LRH

Based on this policy I am communicating to you about some situations that we
need to do something about within our religion, within our group.

Actions that are either not covered in policy or directly violate LRH policy
and tech include the extreme over-regging and fund-raising activities that
have become so much a part of nearly every Sea Org org and Class V org as
well as every “OT Committee”. This fundraising is not covered anywhere in
LRH policy.

Hardworking Sea Org members and the dedicated staff of orgs around the world
aren’t choosing to do these actions. Nor are the OTs. I am sure they would
be more than happy if they could just get on with direct dissemination of
Scientology as they have done for so many years.

But the truth is that this is being driven from the very highest echelons
within the Scientology structure and clearly there is a lot of pressure to
make targets that are being set.

The IAS: The IAS was created unbeknownst to LRH in 1984 by Marc Yager and
David Miscavige. This was supposed to be based on LRH policies on the
subject of membership and the HASI, however the IAS is nothing like the
membership system described by LRH which only has two memberships and is
covered in HCO PL 22 March 1965 “Current Promotion and Org Program Summary,
Membership Rundown” and states:

“There are two memberships…”- LRH

LRH lists there the INTERNATIONAL ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP and gives its cost at 10
pounds sterling or $30 US. He also lists a LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP which is
priced at $75 US. There are no other memberships or statuses approved or
known to LRH.

Furthermore, membership monies are supposed to go directly to the org where
the membership is signed up, and the money used for dissemination by that
org, in that area. This is covered in HCOPL 1 Sept 1965R Membership
Policies.

“It all goes into the HCO Book Account in the area where the membership is
brought and is not part of the organization’s weekly gross income.
Membership monies go to dissemination”.- LRH

Currently membership monies are held as Int reserves and have grown to well
in excess of a billion dollars. Only a tiny fraction has ever been spent, in
violation of the policy above. Only the interest earned from the holdings
have been used very sparingly to fund projects through grants. In fact many
of the activities you see at IAS events are not actually funded by the IAS,
but rather by the Scientologists involved.

Think about it, how many ads disseminating Scientology, Dianetics or any Scn
affiliated programs have you seen on TV? Heard on the radio? Seen in
newspapers? I haven’t seen one in the 4 years I have lived in San Antonio,
Texas, the 7th largest city in the US. How many have you seen?

Donating anything more than a lifetime membership to the IAS is not based on
LRH policy. The article “What Your Donations Buy” (The Auditor, The Monthly
Journal of Scientology No. 51, 1970) is clearly talking about how the church
uses your donations for Dianetics and Scientology services. Next time you
are asked to donate outside of services, realize that you are engaged in
fundraising and ask to see something in writing from L. Ron Hubbard that
this is something he expects from you as a Scientologist.

New Org Buildings: LRH also never directed the purchase of opulent buildings
or the posh renovations or furnishings for every org.

In fact, if you read HCO PL 12 March 75 Issue II, “The Ideal Org”, which is
what this program has been called, and nowhere in it will you find 20
million dollar buildings or even any reference to the poshness of org
premises at all as part of LRH’s description of an “Ideal Org”. Instead, an
Ideal Org was one that delivered and moved people up The Bridge – something
that is not part of this “Ideal Org” program.

LRH says in the PL that an Ideal Org:

“would be clean and attractive enough not to repel its public” – LRH.

This is all it says about the state of the building.

As a result of this off-policy alteration of the Ideal Org PL, we have the
majority of top OTs, now deemed “OT Ambassadors”, heavily engaged in
fund-raising activities that include “bingo”, “pirate dinners”, “knitting
classes”, “hay rides”, and many other activities strictly revolving around
raising funds for the required multi-millions of dollars to fund their
“Ideal Org”. As part of this, people around every org are now asked to
donate to their local “Ideal Org” instead of their own services or their own
Bridge.

LRH says in HCO PL Org Ethics and Tech:

“GET RID OF DISTRACTIONS FROM SCIENTOLOGY in your org. Baby-sitting or
raffle tickets and such nonsense.”-LRH

Yet these distractions are rampant as they are being used as fund-raisers to
get money for the huge quotas being issued to fund the “Ideal Org”.

“If the org slumps… don’t engage in ‘fund-raising’ or ‘selling postcards’
or borrowing money. Just make more income with Scientology.
It’s a sign of very poor management to seek extraordinary solutions for
finance outside Scientology. It has always failed.”

“For orgs as for pcs, ‘Solve It With Scientology’.

“Every time I myself have sought to solve financial or personnel in other
ways than Scientology I have lost out. So I can tell you from experience
that org solvency lies in more Scientology, not patented combs or
fund-raising barbeques.”

HCO PL 24 February 1964, Issue II, Org Programming, (OEC Vol. 7, p. 930)

The point is that Scientologists and OT’s need to be training, auditing and
disseminating to raw public- not regging each other or holding internal
fundraisers.

Out Tech: Over the last few years we have seen literally hundreds and
hundreds of people who were validated as clear using the CCRD as developed
by LRH now being told they are not Clear. This included hundreds of OTs who
were then put onto NED as a “handling”. LRH clearly forbid any Dianetics to
be run on OTs in HCOB “Dianetics Forbidden on OTs”. This is out tech. This
entire technical “handling” was directed personally by COB RTC and was done
on thousands of OTs. But it was based not on an LRH HCO Bulletin, but rather
based on a single C/S instruction where LRH C/Sed one pre-OT who had not
achieved the state of clear but was mid OT III and not making it. LRH
directed a solo handling that the pre-OT was to do to get himself to achieve
the state of Clear. This LRH C/S taken out of context was then used to
implement a technical handling that was in direct violation of an LRH HCOB.

This and other “technical handlings” done on Solo NOTs auditors created
great expense and hardship on Solo NOTs auditors around the world as they
were made to do these handlings to continue on the level.

Then there are the “fast grades at Flag” that no other org has. How can it
be that Flag has been delivering grades differently to the rest of the world
for the last 3 years? Whatever the problem is, the fact is that having “fast
Grades” at Flag creates a hidden data line and is a HIGH CRIME and the
subject of an entire policy letter called HCOPL “TECH DEGRADES” which LRH
has placed at the start of every Scientology course.

More recently the fad seems to be that nearly everyone needs to “re-do their
Purif and do a long objectives program”, including many OTs mid Solo NOTs.

There is nothing wrong with doing objectives, but it is a clear violation of
HCOB ‘MIXING RUNDOWNS AND REPAIRS” to have a person mid a rundown or OT
level be taken off it and placed on an objectives program.

Solo NOTs auditors are also being made to get their objectives from a Class
IX auditor at great expense as they are not being allowed to co-audit.

Flag has made many millions of dollars on the above listed out tech
handlings because OTs mid Solo NOTs are forced to get these out-tech actions
to be able to get back onto and stay on the level and complete it. Not to
mention the spiritual effects of the out tech that this has on each OT.

I myself was subject to these out tech “handlings”, including extensive FPRD
mid Solo NOTs. It took its toll in many ways, including physical situations
I am still dealing with today. So I have some reality of the hardship
caused.

LRH Command Structure: LRH left us with a complex and balanced command
structure, with our orgs led by the Office of ED International. This office
was considered so important that LRH created a special management group
called the Watch Dog Committee whose only purpose was to see that this
office and the other needed layers of management existed. LRH ED 339R speaks
of this extensively as the protection for our Church. But these people are
missing. And not just some. As of just a few years ago there were no members
of the office of ED Int on post, not to mention top execs throughout the
International Management structure.

You may have also wondered… where is Heber, the President of the Church?
What about Ray Mitthoff, Senior C/S International, the one that LRH
personally turned over the upper OT Levels to? How about Norman Starkey,
LRH’s Trustee? What happened to Guillaume – Executive Director
International? And Marc Yeager, the WDC Chairman? What happened to the other
International Management executives that you have seen at events over the
years?

The truth is that I spent weeks working in the empty International
Management building at Int. Empty because everyone had been removed from
post. When I first went up lines I was briefed extensively by David
Miscavige about how bad all of them were and how they had done many things
that were all very discreditable. This seemed to “explain” the fact that the
entirety of the Watchdog Committee no longer existed. The entirety of the
Executive Strata, which consisted of ED International and 11 other top
International executives that were the top executives in their particular
fields, no longer existed. That the Commodore’s Messenger Org International
no longer existed. All of these key command structures of Scientology
International, put there by LRH, had been removed.

There were hundreds and hundreds of unanswered letters and requests for help
from org staff, written based on LRH ED 339R where LRH says that staff can
write to these top executives in the Exec Strata for help. But this is not
possible if all these execs have been removed and no one is there to help
them or to get evaluations and programming done to expand Scientology.

Well, after that I got to spend some quality time with Heber, Ray Mithoff,
Norman Starkey, Guillaume, as well as the entirety of International
Management at the time, who were all off post and doing very long and harsh
ethics programs. These have gone on for years and to the only result of that
they are still off post. There is no denying that these top executives have
all gradually disappeared from the scene. You don’t see them at the big
events anymore or on the ship at Maiden Voyage.

David Miscavige has now become the “leader” of the Scientology religion. Yet
what LRH left behind was a huge structure to properly manage all aspects of
the Scientology religion. He put a complete and brilliant organizational
structure there, not one individual. There never was supposed to be a
“leader” other than LRH himself as the goal maker for our group.

There is a situation here and even if you have not been to the International
Management Base you should be able to see that over regging and frequent
tech changes are not OK and you have a responsibility to do something to
Keep Scientology Working. You should be able to find and read the
references on membership in OEC Volume 6. Find and read the HCO PL entitled
“The Ideal Org” (Data Series 40). Find and read the references on org
buildings, including HCO PL 24 Aug 65 II, Cleanliness of Quarters and Staff,
Improve our Image. Also, HCO PL 17 June 69, The Org Image.

If you don’t want to make waves or put yourself in danger of being taken off
the level or denied eligibility, then there are some simple things you can
do. First and foremost, withdraw your support from off policy actions. Stop
donating to anything other than your own services and actual Bridge
progress. Simply demand to see an LRH reference that says you are required
to make other such donations. No one will be able to produce any references
because there aren’t any.

Stop supporting any of the activities that are being done to forward
off-policy fund-raising in your area.

LRH says what he expects of a Scientologist – that is what he expects you to
do. In fact he put it in HCOB 10 June 1960 Issue I, Keeping Scientology
Working Series 33, WHAT WE EXPECT OF A SCIENTOLOGIST. Read it and follow it.

The other thing you can do is to send this email to as many others as you
can, even if you do it anonymously.

Please keep this email among us, the Scientologists. The media have no place
in this. You may wonder why I have not written a KR and gone about my
business. The answer is, I have. But there is no longer anyone to send that
KR to.

But you can and should write reports and bring off-policy to the attention
of local org executives and local Sea org members.

We are a strong and powerful group and we can affect a change. We have
weathered many storms. I am sorry that I am the one telling you, but a new
storm is upon us. It’s waves are already in the media and the world around
us.

The truth is that as a Scientologist you are more able, more perceptive and
have a higher integrity. Scientology is supposed to allow you to “think for
yourself” and never compromise your own integrity. And most certainly LRH
held every Scientologist responsible to KEEP SCIENTOLOGY WORKING.

I am not trying to do anything other than affect a change in serious off
policy actions occurring. My husband and I have most of our family and many
many good friends who are Scientologists. I have not been real interested in
sticking my neck out like this.

However, I also know that I dedicated my entire adult life to supporting LRH
and the application of LRH technology and if I ever had to look LRH in the
eye I wouldn’t be able to say I did everything I could to Keep Scientology
Working if I didn’t do something about it now.

We all have a stake in this. It is simply not possible to read the LRH
references and not see the alterations and violations that are currently
occurring.

You have a very simple obligation to LRH. Don’t participate in anything off
policy, and let others know they should not either. If every person who
reads this email does nothing more than step back from off-policy actions we
would have changed direction. If we took all that energy and directed it
into auditing, training and raw public dissemination, we would be winning.

And that is what I wish for you and all of us as we ring in this new year.

ARC,

Debbie Cook

Tim Swanson Delivers Straight Talk

Gotta keep your eye on the comments on this blog. Sometimes some pretty wicked wit and wisdom appears.  When I saw what follows lined up in the “comments” queue, I asked the author whether I could publish it as its own post. Though he was hesitant to stand on the dais, for reasons he makes clear within the post, he agreed to my request.  I just think these words are too direct and true not to be highlighted and discussed in their own right.  Tim has been a great supporter of the truth being revealed. I want to thank him for everything he has done for us over the past two years.  This cat walks the walk and though he doesn’t ask for it he has earned our admiration.

Tim Swanson and his better half Karen

Hi Marty, I started writing and this is what I got. It’s kinda long and if you want to edit it down feel free to do so.

I thought I would take DM words and put some practical understanding to them from my perspective. Some of this is a bit bitter, sorry, I am working on that. Some is simply pragmatic and blunt. The two can get confused.

Somewhere along the line his words hit me on a personal level. By personal I mean all of my dynamics, especially the 7th and 8th and I kept writing. His words and his actions are an offense to my dynamics. As I have unceremoniously stated previously I am not one to push declarations and I didn’t intend this to be one and didn’t write it with that in mind. I have been De-PTSed for some time and never felt the need to do it. That’s my personal view and not intended to step on anyone’s toes or act as some indication. If my views and statements here assist anyone else in making up their minds or provide clarifications then it will have been worthwhile.

Typically with one of these things people give loads of acknowledgements and praise to the person for the statements. Understandable, but unnecessary. I never intended to make a public statement but found I enjoyed reading them from others. The viewpoints, the data, all add something to ones understanding of the existing real scene and if I can add something of value to that I will be gratified.

Response to the post: Drop Kick Me

“If you ever dreamed of playing on a global court for the highest stakes imaginable, then your dreams have now come true, because this is that game, and you’re now on the field. “

The field is shrinking and the game is rigged, DM style. The game is IAS expansion, not the accomplishment of the goals laid out by LRH.

“Accordingly, you must be competent”

Ok, this makes me laugh. Does DM consider John Allender or the other Squirrel Busters as an example of this competence?

“and you must be committed,”

Well, committed is certainly where DM is headed.

“both as individual Scientologist and as members of the IAS collectively,”

There’s the IAS plug for the Non LRH membership organization whose funds serve DM’s personal interests and create large and sometimes beautiful empty buildings. You too can go there and receive NO standard auditing or auditor training. You can do Basic Courses that get you neither of the above and feel really good about yourself for having read a book. (heavy sarcasm, sorry)

“because that’s the only way we’ll eventually kick one through the goal posts and straight into eternity.”

Ok, I’m stumped for a rationalization of this statement. Just how does an IAS membership and Status and reading basic books in empty buildings get one to eternity exactly? Doesn’t there have to be auditing and training in there somewhere? Or is DM telling us we can buy our way into heaven?

The auditing and training is occurring in the Independent field but appears
statistically lacking in Missions, Orgs, ASHO’s, AO’s, Flag and the Ship. All one has to do is go look. Not watch a slick video or read some promo but simply get your butt in gear and go look at your local Mission or Org. According to the promo and the video expansion is straight up and vertical and has been for years. Ok, so where are the people? Where are the auditors being made in droves? Where are the happy P/C’s? If this is all happening then where are the New Public in? What is the PRPS stat? What are the WDAHs? How many classed auditors were made worldwide last week? Where in the world is there a Class 8 course happening at all? How many Class 8’s were made last month, last year, the last 5 years? Straight up and vertical is an Oops! The graph is turned on the wrong axis. Turn it 90 degrees and there’s the graph.

So road to eternity DM style is followed thusly; after your bank account is drained, your retirement accounts drained, your business raped of working funds, your home re-mortgaged beyond your ability to pay and subsequently foreclosed upon, your credit cards blitzed and maxed out, when you are in total financial ruin but have the benefit of having read some basic books and listened to DM’s inspirational words, why then you have reached into eternity.

Probably true, but it’s a nasty eternity with a bad ending.

“Beyond all that, there may be speculation, and playing of other games, but right now we are indeed using the basic truths of Scientology to give Earth a culture of which Earth can be proud.”

Let’s add this up, unpopular in Germany, Sweden, France, Russia, Spain, Italy, certainly Israel, Australia, Canada, Taiwan, Switzerland, need I go on. Just where is Earth going to be proud of what you, David, are doing? Maybe on the Int Base Gold where you live in a $70 million dollar mansion constructed to your exact specifications from IAS donations and have meals specially prepared for your delicate constitution from the finest ingredients. This while rank and file S.O. members live on $45 a week when their stats are up. I can see why you would be proud.

December is the anniversary of my SP Declare.
I was accused of posting something unflattering to the Church in December last year, which I did not post and was declared for it, or so I am told. I still am looking for my copy BTW. To be sure, I had posted things unflattering about DM, just not the one they said was mine.

So this is a celebratory Posting. Please make no mistakes this time. This is certainly my post.

My name is Tim Swanson and I am no longer and haven’t been for several years, a Corporate Scientologists. I am an Independent Scientologists.

Sparing the reader all the details surrounding my decision to leave the money grubbing off policy, out tech, out ethics organization, suffice to say it has all been covered here on this blog and others.

The only reason I stayed in that money grubbing squirrel organization was because I believed it was the only game in town.

And they certainly have been hard at work to make parishioners believe that, even if incompetently so.

You, DM, have failed miserably. You have failed LRH. But then I am
convinced that that is you plan. You have made people, good people, believe
that their salvation is dependent on you and your continued leadership, if you can call the train wreak you’ve steered leadership, You have convinced them that the only place they can get straight standard Scientology is in Church Organizations.

I believed it too, for far too long. So you fooled me, well done. I am fooled no more. You are an empty promise and an empty suit. A failed Class 4 that substitutes assault for model session. How sad when the opportunity for eternity was within your grasp.

Since leaving your corrupt regime, I have completed 3 L’s, fabulous rundowns BTW when delivered correctly, did some auditor training to LRH checksheets and am now auditing on NOTs, another fabulous Rundown, when done outside of the suppressive constraints placed on the materials and on those auditing them.

So I actually, in a macabre way, owe you some thanks. Had your aberrant influences on policy, tech and staff not occurred I wouldn’t have left and would have never enjoyed the tremendous benefits available in going up the Bridge. You see, I was effectively stalled but unwilling to leave. The costs of my next services, the real costs, the hidden costs, not the off policy overpriced published costs, were beyond my means and I had resigned myself to no more bridge. I am loathe to give you this win but there it is. And then, almost miraculously, there was an auditor I knew practicing in the Independent Field, delivering the L’s. Well I have to tell you it took all of several seconds for me to get on the phone to him and set an appointment. (My comm lag is much less now.) The money I had set up to use for OT-5 was now going into the Independent Field and I was getting my L’s.

It was a good trade. Sure, I got declared a year later and lost some friends and some family won’t talk to me. They’ll come around sooner or later. They are not stupid. Most already know you are a faker, but like me, they believe that their eternity is dependent on staying in your good graces and that there is no Scientology outside of the official CoS and of course the fear of disconnection. A good control mechanism by the way. Once they understand the absurdity of this they will leave as I did. They will get better service, more ARC, it will cost less, it won’t be altered, they won’t be regged, they won’t have to mortgage their homes or put themselves into financial ruin, they won’t have to go to regging events with bad food. In the Independent field, the people are uptone and genuinely fun and nice. It’s like it used to be, FUN.

I had the opportunity to see many failed Flag cases while doing my L’s. I saw botches grades, botched Sec checks, botched NOTs, botched L’s all out of Flag.

I even ran across a fella that was told to leave because he wouldn’t attest to an L’s completion when he didn’t feel he had the EP. Certainly don’t fix him, just show him the door and your boot.

I notice I didn’t read about those in Scientology News. BTW he was straightened out by an independent and he was all smiles after that. All of the above were straightened out by independents and all that I know were ecstatic with the results. Standard Tech at work.

So my eternity is in my hands, not yours or your corrupt organizations. I need no 6 months checks or teenage MAA’s telling me what to think and do or else. I simply audit, following the procedures established by LRH. No 3 swings here. An F/N is an F/N. By all accounts I am doing fine, better than fine. FTA’s are the norm.

I am working on my eternity and happy to be doing it in the Independent Field.

Regards,

Tim Swanson AKA Ann Howe

Corporate Scientology’s “Global Retribution”

It would be interesting to hear people’s thoughts on this latest pronunciamento* by Corporate Scientology leader David Miscavige.  What came to mind to me was this axiom, that which you resist hard enough you become.

Miscavige Wants to Traffick In African Americans

I have written before about Miscavige’s disdain for and patent attempts to pander to African Americans in a bid to make his Human Trafficking operations “hip”:

Clear African Americans Convention

Funeral for a Friend – (see essay attached The Church of Scientology is Dead.)

In the referenced essay I told the story of how Miscavige announced to Scientology public in 2003 the imminent opening of what would one day be the Inglewood org:

Excerpt:

Miscavige told the audience that Black America was considered hip, that ghetto Blacks were the trend setters in music, fashion and more. He said that made investment in the ghetto very much worth Scientology’s while. It would make Scientology hip. My stomach ached as I heard him cherry-pick Isaac’s (Hayes) secret pitch to a profit motivated management and have the arrogance to announce it to the “elite”, well-heeled followers he had carefully cultivated.

He had unilaterally decided to take on the situation in the most audacious possible manner. He announced that the Church was working on two new magnificent, “showcase” Churches: one in Harlem and the other in South Central Los Angeles. He showed the audience grandiose design plans for both. I uneasily imagined how Isaac felt about seeing Miscavige take his report, and have the temerity to talk about Black America like a thing that need be conquered for Scientology’s aggrandizement.

Miscavige withheld from the audience that he had spent the past five years personally blocking efforts by Scientology management to implement a Hubbard advised finance system that would make the subject affordable to common folk. He continues to do so to this day.

Eight years later, Miscavige finally got around to opening the Inglewood org, announced at the 2011 IAS event.   The lag in delivering what he promised alone demonstrates his lack of sense of urgency about doing anything for Inglewood – or as he put it in 2003 and again in 2011 for “Blacks”.  Multiple countries were opened from scratch and expanded into dozens of orgs in every eight year period prior to Miscavige’s coporatization and bastardization of Scientology.

What is more mind-boggling is that eight years later, and a year after I called him out on his creepy, exploition  attitude toward African Americans, his 2011 announcement is – despite his best efforts to sound propitiative – as racist, arrogant and condescending as he was in 2003.  It was inappropriate for Miscavige to speak of African Americans as “them” in 2003.   To continue to do so in 2011 exposes a person who is something far more sinister than clueless.

As far as the over-the-top shrine-to-his-God-the-physical-universe Inglewood org  goes, it is a brazen slap in the face of those it purports to serve.  What could have been done in that community for the price of Miscavige’s $15 dollar museum over the past eight years?   Who in the community it purports to serve can afford to train or be audited there?   Who in that community would trust a “church” dressed up like a Wall Street firm drunk with stolen billions?

That he wants to exploit African American culture to his own ends is not so deeply encoded in passages such as:

So, talk about a pervasive culture.  Talk about a permeating and penetrating culture.  Or to put it another way, most white folks wouldn’t have a clue what it means to be cool if it weren’t for Black America.

Why is he even having to justify the opening of the org there for a segment of society he clearly refers to as “them” in the first place?

Make no mistake, that multi-million dollar community center serves one purpose for Miscavige, and one purpose alone. Lure a bunch of African Americans in for free events so that they can be video taped for some future event; with an over-dub by Miscavige himself talking about overwhelming acts of kindness to salvage the inner cities.  Mark my words.

If he cared about Urban Los Angeles, with the money he has spent on this glitz center he could have opened a couple hundred missions across LA over the past eight years.  As for the Idle Morgue – beyond serving as a free-service, free-fall facility for his buddy Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam followers (designed of course as a loss leader to drive more unsuspecting African Americans in to serve as extras for his event videos) it will die on the vine just like virtually every other ostentatious, gaudy Idle Morgue he has wasted parishioner donations on to date.

Inglewood residents beware of the little back stabber bearing “gifts.”

Those are my views.  I’d love to hear yours.

David Miscavige: Merchant of Chaos

In the following excerpt from the October,2011 International Association of Scientologists (IAS) event, David Miscavige preaches the benefits of the destruction of the Twin Towers and the loss of the lives of 3,000 people in New York  City on 9/11/01.

Possible Questions for discussion?

1) Is there anyone in the free world who ten years later is still so excited about the “virtues” of the terrorist attacks on New York City?

2) Is there any corporation in the world that has so shamelessly continued to exploit the misery of 9/11 ten years after the fact for profit and personal gain?

3)  Has there ever been a ten year period where Scientology has declined in numbers and credibility more than in these past ten  years where Miscavige has consistenly used the 9/11 catastrophe as his brilliant “Wake Up Call” strategy?

4)  Is Miscavige promoting the ideas of Osama Bin Laden in his dramatic description of what 9/11 meant?

Miscavige Megalomania, In Three Languages

Megalomania is a psycho-pathological condition characterized by delusional  fantasies of power, relevance, or omnipotence. ‘Megalomania is characterized by an inflated sense of self-esteem and overestimation by persons of their powers and beliefs’.

For those revolted by the last post here, David Miscavige: The Narcissist, you may want to secure your coffee before proceeding or skip this post entirely.

As noted in David Miscavige: The Narcissist  Miscavige writes and/or approves every single word loaded into the teleprompter before each and every corporate Scientology event. That means every word uttered by anyone at any event.

At the 2011 Annual International Association of Scientologists (IAS) event Miscavige’s self love statistics were straight up and vertical, shattering all previous demonstrations of megalomania performed to date. As you can see in the following video, David Miscavige managed the heretofore unimaginable feat of  kissing his own butt publicly in three languages.

The $100,000,000 Book Con – dox

Gabriel has come through with some documented particulars as to magnitude of the rape, pillage, and plunder of Scientology public by David Miscavige’s “Basics” scam.  Good timing my friend.

ML,

Nick and Marisa”

Bridge Publications only covers the Western Hemisphere.  So that’s $100 million just for the West in one year, not inclusive of whatever New Era was selling.

I remember reading this and getting a sort of electric thrill.  “Wow, it’s really happening.  Pubs is going to be able to market the hell out of Dianetics, now, and fill up the orgs and missions!  It’s just around the corner! TV ads, magazines, marketing galore.  We’re going to capture the fabled 5% of the world book market!  Sheer momentum and planetary clearing and all that!”

No marketing campaign.

Maybe there just wasn’t enough money in the “war chest” yet.

But let’s do a little math.

Each Basics Book and Lecture package cost $3,000.

Let’s assume a cost of $1.00 total production cost for each of the 280 lectures in the Basics.  This is actually very high but let’s just be safe in terms of including the price of the binders, supplements, shipping, pay for SO members, etc.

Here is a link that cites industry standard CD replication costs of $.50, and this is if you outsource:

http://www.proactionmedia.com/dvd_media_production.htm

Now let’s add in the cost of each of the 18 Basic books.  We’ll assume a cost of $10 per book, but it’s certainly less than this.  But we’ll wrap into this costs of shipping, etc.

So a full Basics Book and Lecture package costs a maximum of $280 for lectures + $180 for books = $460.

$460 is only  15% of $3000.  At least 85% of Basics sales are profit.

The way the discounts were structured, the distributors of the Basics (orgs and missions) sent almost all of their sales money up the lines to Bridge Publications.

So of this $100,000,000: about $85,000,000 was pure unadulturated profit.

And this was just the beginning of the Basics, in ’07.  This was before the endless libraries and the 16 sets for your garage.  Before Bridge Pubs started issuing official handles on the sales objection “I don’t have enough shelf space.”

No wonder DM could just never get enough.  No wonder nearly every Scientology terminal in existence has been pressured into becoming a glorified Bookstore Officer.

When you add this $85 million profit to whatever New Era has been selling, plus the millions each week that Flag is generating, plus IAS, plus Superpower, plus Idle Orgs, plus tithes, plus film licenses, plus plus plus plus, I estimate that it’s at the minimum HALF A BILLION dollars ANNUALLY funneling through the top.

And yet IAS reges incessantly pitch the newest emergency that requires the exact amount of emergency funding they feel they can extract from you or else the world ends.

The terrified vultures pick and pick and meanwhile high above them the Short Vulture is getting very fat indeed.

I’ll send more data when I can.

Gabriel

“The fundraisers involved have no recollection of the incident”

Ok, I’m catching up this Sunday morning.  I was greeted with this little number on the St Pete Times website, “Another 50,000”.   This is the response Brian Culkin gets after stepping up and sharing important history: “The fundraisers involved have no recollection of the incident.”   Well Miscavige, who are the fundraisers you now acknowledge did work Brian over?   Why did you not allow Tom and Joe to question them?   I guess the holocaust never happened either – since apparently your institution cannot remember two years ago, let alone seventy years.

Message to Miscavige’s Fundraisers:  Scientology can help with that inability to recollect.
