Whatever It Takes

As we approach a tipping point of sorts inspired in part by recent societal events,  Tony Ortega at the Village Voice provides us with graphic reminders of  the wisdom of what we are doing.

http://blogs.villagevoice.com/runninscared/2011/10/grant_cardone_occupy_wall_street.php

The 2 1/2 % who have seized control of the church of Scientology have sold out to the 1 % who are destroying the world’s economy by turning Wall Street into their personal casino.

Meanwhile, corporate Scientology continues to make its bid as the perfect medieval candidate for the religion of the 1%:

Whatever it takes:

The Road We Must Travel

As of this writing the petition to the White House to investigate the Department of Justice’s cover up of the ongoing crimes of David Miscavige contains 3,702 signatures.   I haven’t campaigned actively on the issue even though I have periodically offered more evidence supporting the premises of the petition.

Some have commented, and even used as a motivation for more action, that Miscavige will take a big win if the number does not reach the 5,000 threshold requiring White House response.  I don’t want to dampen any effective arguments people are using to garner more support. At the same time I have something to say about this one in particular. If David Miscavige takes a win on somewhere on the order of 4,000 people taking the bold step of putting their John Hancock’s to a petition to investigate him, the times they are a changing.  Two years ago I would venture that less than a 1,000 people would be willing to make that move.

That 4,000 people of every different stripe – Independent Scientologists, ex-Scientologists, anti-Scientologists, Anonymous activists, Methodists, Mormans, Catholics, Episcopalians, Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, you name it – can come together on the issue of Corporate Scientology crime, and act in unison (many even leaving evidence of where they might be found),  the times they are a changing.

For every one of you who signed the petition, and especially to those of you who encouraged others to – regardless of how many more join you – you are heroes in my book.   You have stepped up to the plate and you have looked the beast in the eye and have said, “Down boy!”    Whether the Administration hears you or not, I’ll tell you one person who has heard you loud and clear – David Miscavige.  And whether he claims a “win” or a “lose” is meaningless; believe me, he hears your footsteps and in that wise you have helped tremendously in the process of slowly but surely de-fanging the monster.

This is not my petition.  I did publicize it and encourage people to sign it in a Sept 27 post in which I gave reasons why I thought it warranted support,  https://markrathbun.wordpress.com/2011/09/25/petition-the-president-of-the-united-states/.

I noted in that post that,

Whether the 5000 target is met or not does not relieve the Administration from its duty to investigate and remedy the filth and corruption going on between our Department of Justice and America’s most dangerous cult. But, the more people who sign the more chance there is that justice might be done.

Well, so far you all have provided 3,702 more reasons for the White House to act.  Thank you to all 3,702 of you.

If the petition winds up with 4,321 signatures or 5,500 signatures that will be another 619 or 1,798 reasons why the Administration ought to do its job, and those many more reasons why the oppressor ought to watch its step.

To those continuing to work tirelessly toward the 5,000 threshold, every additional name is golden as are you.

From the irreppressible Steve Hall:

We DEFINITELY CAN MAKE THIS TARGET and I am going to tell exactly HOW to do it. Facts: We have 5 days left including today. We got 250 signatures just last night. We need 1,272 more that is 254 per day. We are no where near tapped out. MAKE A LIST OF 10 PEOPLE (or more — go through your cell phone numbers) and SEND EACH PERSON the following email which I wrote yesterday:

Dear

I have a favor to ask. For about two years the FBI was conducting an investigation into the Church of Scientology. It was a serious investigation into human trafficking and obstruction of justice. Many ex-members of the CoS spoke with Federal Agents. However the CoS paid some huge money and apparently got someone (the Attorney General?) in the Justice Department to spike the whole thing. The two lead agents were transferred. So we are fighting back and one of the solutions we discovered was that the White House said if we could get 5,000 signatures on a petition, the President would look into the matter and make a statement. So we have already more than 3,725 signatures. We have 5 days left and need about 1,275 more — only about 255 a day, which we can definitely do (we did 250 Tuesday night). Can you and your family members please sign the White House Petition immediately to investigate why the FBI investigation was spiked, who spiked it, and also to restart the investigation into Church of Scientology criminality?

1) It takes only about 20 seconds to register — just put in your name and email address.

2) They will send you an email, with a link. Click on the link in the email.

3) Click on “Sign the Petition” and you’re done. Your privacy is protected and no one can actually see your last name.

Here is the link: http://wh.gov/4Os

Obviously we need as many people as possible to sign it immediately, so if you know anyone else that can sign it, please have at it.

Signed,

Robert Almblad

People that have studied the subject of Scientology would understand this statement:  “Anything can be overrun and when it does get overrun, it becomes suppressive.”  In my opinion, this overrun is what we are experiencing on all fronts of Scientology today.

Hi, my name is Robert Almblad and I am an Independent Scientologist.  My last “Church” service was New OT V in 2005.

I joined the Sea Org at Celebrity Center in LA in 1971 when I was 23 and began my SO career in Scientology working for LRH on the Apollo in 1972.  He discovered I had an innate ability to figure out the source of annoying problems in his physical space and to come up with innovative solutions.  For noise, I designed a soundproof auditing room. For the odd smell on the ship, I discovered dirt in the vents and began the ship-wide program to clean the vents… this project became known as CSP (Clean Ship Program). Today, every SO member knows the name” CSP” but probably doesn’t know where the name came from.  It was me. Now that DM knows where CSP comes from, he will probably ban the use of the term. Ha.

In 1974 I was on staff at the Advanced Organization in Denmark and my wife, also on staff, was pregnant. The conditions for bringing up a family were not the best.  Europe was not as prosperous as Los Angeles in those early days. Books were not translated yet, so everything had to be done in English in a foreign country. You could “survive” but in a bad week there was no money for diapers and sometimes the food for staff was substandard. In short, in my opinion, this was no place to raise a family. So, my wife and I decided to leave the Sea Org and raise a family. I would return to my business career to flourish and prosper by creating new products to improve the world.  And, as I told the Commanding Officer Nan Starkey when I left, I would find a way to come back to help these dedicated people and forward the goals of Scientology.  It became my mission in life.  I would come back with resources to help the cause.

From my teenage days, I was able to create successful business ventures and invent things, so I was very confident that I could create a financial empire in my life. But, I just had no interest in money.  I only  wanted to help people and so I studied college level psychology in High School.  By the time I went to college I was finished with psychology because they didn’t know what they were talking about and now I wanted to “find out the answer to the universe”. Why are we here?  What happens when you die? So, I studied all religions (east and west). I did this in my spare time while I went to Business Colleges and Universities.

Eventually I got bored with B-school and quit. I wandered around the world until I read my first Scientology book in 1970.  I was amazed and told everyone around me that “I had found the answer to the universe!!!”

Few people around me understood my enthusiasm, (basically they thought I was nuts) so I bought every single Scientology book in print, flew to Amsterdam, rented a nice apartment and read every book.  When I was done, about a year later, I went to CC in LA (my first encounter with organized Scientology), and became a Dianetic auditor. It was a smashing good time!! Scientology was fun. Ray Mithoff was on level III while I was on the Dianetic Internship and sometimes he audited repair lists on my PC’s.  Everyone laughed and had great fun in the over-crowded course room.  A far cry from the GAT stifled and nearly vacant course rooms that you see today.

Scientology was just a huge amount of fun. There was never any pressure for money. It was all about giving and getting auditing. The staff was well taken care of and missions and field auditors prospered in 1971. Personally, my Dianetic auditing ran perfectly and I went exterior with full perceptions within 50 hours. And, for the next 10 years my entire Bridge ran that way, flawlessly, all the way to being the 13th completion on NED for OTs or NOTs at Flag.

Then the trouble began.

I got an urgent call in 1981: “LRH is missing, the Missions have been smashed and MSH needs help.” It was a “call to arms” and so I temporarily left my businesses and tried to help.  The mission: break into DM’s office and go through his files to find and document his crimes, then expose his crimes and get him tossed out of the Sea Organization because he is ruining Scientology.

The long and the short of it: we got caught and I got declared in 1981.

So, I went back to my inventions and carried on with that for the next 25 years. I was doing some A-E steps* every now and then, but for the most part I remained off all Scientology lines.  During that time I studied Scientology on my own, as I had done in the first year of my Scientology life. But, now as a Super Lit**, it was of course much easier.

*A-E = the cure for being declared a suppressive person

** Super Literate = a course on how to study.

Eventually I completed my A-E steps and, in 2005, I went to Flag and did New OTV. OMG…. It was horrible and a horrifying experience.  I had never experienced anything like this in my auditing life!!. What is wrong with auditing is well covered here on Marty’s weblog, but just as another example: when I told my auditor I was “completed” with a process, he would literally roll his eyes and point at the meter and say: “I don’t see it here” as a snide remark.  God, it was bad.

I found out 5 years later that DM redefined the end phenomena of a process with his 3 swing F/N, causing overruns and then repairs of overruns and then repairs of the repairs of overruns on into infinity.

Today, the New OT V process is intended to make you un-cause over life.  This is because, when you ARE cause over life and someone in a trusted position (like an auditor with e-meter) tells you that you are NOT cause over life, it will send you down the rabbit hole.  This is just an overrun of course, but you end up in an Alice in Wonderland world with your auditor in charge of your life and not you. The end product of this kind of auditing are these robot, Kool-Aid drinking,  OT’s you see acting like idiots in front of the world.  It’s a mess.

With this single alter-is of LRH’s end phenomena technology, DM was able to destroy Scientology faster and more effectively than any government, international banker, or space alien… That is why I believe the Church is dead.  It is no longer the Bridge to total freedom. Instead, it is the last implant station where you drop off your worldly possessions and disperse yourself in the tail of Haley’s comet and wander around the universe!  (Joke on Heaven’s Gate cult)

Anyway, in 2005 I managed to “find stuff to run” to finish New OT V and get the hell out of Flag without getting declared again. It was a close call.

So, in 2005 I just went back to work on my inventions, but decided I could never go back for more auditing (because my auditor was so bad) or training (because GAT robot training is an abomination).  So, I just carried on with my work.

Then in 2010 I met Mike and Marty. We shared a common reality: that DM was and is nuts.

I told them about the many inventions I had been working on for 40 years.   These were new and useful technologies to improve some of the largest industries in the world. One of those technologies I showed them was an ice machine.  There are many other technologies; some are a bigger deal than an ice machine. But with all these technologies, I have spent  $millions and many years developing them with models, prototypes, laboratory work, etc…  I did not spend money to become the next double bacon cheeseburger Patron of IAS or to build monuments to myself.

I am here to help you and make the world a better place with my technologies. So, please get more people to sign the petition at the White House. Thank you. Robert Almblad October 17, 2011.

False Report Correction

Some witting or unwitting agents of David Miscavige within the Freezone have been running a vicious black PR campaign against me of late.  I use the alternative “unwitting” as they could simply be what L Ron Hubbard referred to as “dupes.”   In the early eighties Hubbard wrote of  unintelligent types who are false data prone.  That means people who are so confused in life and about society that they are prone to accept any lie they encounter.  The more energetic within the dupe category make a pastime of spreading such accepted lies as far and wide as they can –  for a variety of reasons.  They can be motivated by jealousy, vengeance, or just plain parasitism, attempting to raise one’s status by attacking someone who they consider more important than themselves.

The particular propaganda line that is getting some traction apparently in particularly out-ethics sectors of the Freezone is that I allegedly censor free speech.   The story goes that moderators on this blog are wholesale preventing comments from appearing that might stir dissent.

Let me set the record straight.   Here are actual statistics tracked and logged electronically by Word Press, the company that hosts my blog.

Total Comments:    117,808

Approved Comments:   116,166

That means that 98.6% of comments made have been approved and published.  That means 1.4% of comments have been trashed.

Considering that L Ron Hubbard estimated  in the mid-sixties that 2 1/2% of any given population were anti-social personalities, and modern mental health professionals estimate that percentage is up to about 4% in 2011 (sociopaths), I think one could conclude we’ve shown quite a level of tolerance here.

For those unaware of our moderation policy, please see the following post:

https://markrathbun.wordpress.com/2010/11/07/blog-moderation-policy/

For those of you have read it and don’t want to read the entire post again, I’ll post here its two concluding paragraphs:

I treat this blog like my home.  I entertain a wide variety thoughts and viewpoints.  However, when an originator demonstrates it is a one way street and he isn’t really interested in learning something, but only in enturbulating or propagandizing, I show him the door.

Since OSA has had a well-financed, steadily-worked-on campaign going for more than a year to infiltrate my home and this blog with the specific objective of enturbulating me to the point where I start axing people ala Miscavige himself, I think by and large we’ve done pretty well keeping the ship pointed in the direction of moving on up a little higher.

Miscavige’s Death Throes

Anyone who has followed the news and/or this blog for very long knows David Miscavige, head of Corporate Scientology, has spent millions of dollars attempting to spread the sickness of his cult compound to the world at large.   Miscavige has given his go-to private investigator Dave Lubow unlimited funds to buy phone records, stalk through illegal electronic surveillance through phone gps devices, harass and annoy, spread rumor and innuendo, and organize KKK-like gangs to stalk and attempt to intimidate.  Now Miscavige has sunk to even further depths.  His agents have set up phony internet links to targets’ names that go back to child porn sex chat sites.

Read all about it at the Village Voice:

http://blogs.villagevoice.com/runninscared/2011/10/susan_clickner_scientology_hates_clean_ice_2.php

Miscavige’s sickness is known as sociopathy in society at large.  His tactics are known as terrorism in law enforcement circles.   One of our primary aims is to de-fang the monster Miscavige’s operates to make lives miserable.  As you can see the monster is becoming more desperate and vile as we progress in disarming it.   Do not be alarmed that these tactic of his can or will reach out to readers and supporters and independents at large.   My prediction of two years ago – that when enough people stand up, Miscavige’s monster will not have the resources to keep up and will begin to lose its grip – still holds, and has been verified as correct in many ways.

The Robert Almblad attacks to the unbriefed may seem like evidence to the contrary.  So, let me brief you on a little known and as yet unreported fact.  Robert isn’t being attacked with this intensity just to lose Mike Rinder his job.   David Miscavige has convinced the Office of Special Affairs (Corporate Scientology’s harassment and terror department) that Robert’s latest invention must fail, at all costs, for one important reason. David Miscavige is convinced that Robert Almblad is going to make a billion dollars and use it to fund our efforts to put a stake in the heart of the beast so that Scientology can be freely practiced independent of the Radical Corporate Scientology racket.

Lose a good man a job, destroy the lives of Robert and his partner, deny bacteria free ice to the millions, ruin the reputation of the “church” of Scientology by running operations reminiscent of Cold War KGB – it is all just kicking the cat to fix the broken light switch to Miscavige.  Collateral damage to the riff raff.

Don’t forget, this tyrant’s universe is caving in:

https://markrathbun.wordpress.com/2011/10/10/inner-core-meltdown-in-miscaviges-bunker/

That Miscavige can be particularly vicious during its death throes should come as no surprise.

On the Independent side of things, everything is going according to plan; matters are under beautiful control.

Whatever you have been doing in the Independent field, please do not change a thing.  The process is working, the tone arm is moving.

Miscavige’s “Streamlined” Grades

Miscavige talks in fits and starts as some of you all have caught on to. It is the oldest implant technique of them all.  It is covered, among other places, in Hubbard’s St Hill lecture Instant Reads Part One.  Basically, you bore someone to death with some monotony, then you slip in your hypnotic command, then carry on with the monotony.

We’ve broken down some Miscavige speeches on this blog in the past showing how he pulls this stunt at every event.  Well, here is a particularly nasty one he’s been laying in for several years now.

Over the past several years Miscavige keeps alluding to his having “cracked” the Grades and figured out how to “streamline” them like never before.  He never seems to get around to the big announcement and event release he keeps promising on that score.  Instead, he has in a nifty fashion gone ahead and implemented his “streamlined” grades over time.  But, another new release from Int (Miscavige’s words from the 2004 OT Ambassador secret briefing – read implant)  shows Miscavige laid this in on the field “Opinion Leaders” early on, clearly to condition the public in advance.   Miscavige talked to them of things he “can’t talk about in a public event, like money,…”

He let his captive audience know that his way to get people through Grades and New Era Dianetics in the time LRH recommended in Ron’s Journal From Clear to Eternity (Miscavige’s puts it at 150-200 hours) was to cross order Ron’s injunction that Objectives be done at Grade I of the grade chart, and instead send people into a course room with a single instructor to do up to, are you sitting down?, six hundred (600) hours of objective processing before they go near the Grades!  In this wise, the hundreds of hours of Objectives (which, again, LRH put on the Grades) get subtracted from the total hours on Grades.  Streamlining, indeed.

Too incredible to be believed?  Well, read his words below.  And now correlate that to the following facts:

a) Objectives co-audit is the biggest single service delivered at the Flag Service Organization in the year 2011.  Flag even promotes a TRs and Objectives accommodations package.  They need a package since those dumb enough to sign up will likely be on objectives for, well, 600 hours, which translates into months of accommodations.

b) in the year 2010 Flag and FSSO began programming OT VIIs and OT VIIIs wholesale for massive amounts of Objectives.

Without further ado, the king of squirrels, welding the doors onto and up the Bridge shut:

What is it, and now let’s get down to stuff I, words I can’t mention in a public event, like “money”, “economics”, “time”. There’s a certain point where you can hit the level where, you say, the guy, well it’s such an overwhelm, he’ll never make it.  And if you say it’s just nothing, then there’s no staff member in the world that could live on it, because he could never live if he could, if auditing was 5 cents an hour. It’s a problem okay.

Number one, the first answer to that question actually is these objectives. Because here is what it should be. Now mock this up. Guy comes in. He’s through his Purif. We really get him grooved into what an Objective is and we can run a co-audit on Objectives. That is going to be the completion of this long-term project. And specifically directed by LRH on when he was doing OT Levels. Because these guys are going to flounder all over on the Grades. Especially with Dianetics being moved later. That isn’t the bug. The Dianetics being moved later. You know, we often thought, well maybe it’s because this guy, Dianetics, he’s not getting this reality on the reactive mind. When he studies the book he gets it. But don’t forget. 1965 when the Grade Chart came out, look at it.  You won’t see Dianetics before the Grades. Do you see what I mean?

So it’s not. But here is one.  These Objectives that people were doing. And he wanted every single objective process since the dawn of time put together in the gradient approach. And now here’s the real deal.  I get this done. Some are heavy druggies, some aren’t. Some are bad off, some aren’t.  But mock this up. The guy signs up for the TRs and Objectives Co-audit, he’s got all of them. And I don’t care how long he’s in that course room under a co-audit. At the cost of a TRs and Objectives Co-audit.

And what do I want him to do?  200, 300, 400, you want to do 600 hours, go for it bud.  Go and go and go and go and go and go and go. For the guy who really doesn’t need 600 hours. He’s going to be done.  For the guy who does, go and go and go and go because his case, and you guys can get it, will be locking in.

And now we’re ready for the Grades.  So step one is that. And in terms of an org delivery, you take it down from the amount of auditing with one-on-one pc and what a guy is going to have to pay for per hour of auditing. You get it down to a co-audit sup who just knows objectives so cold, it isn’t funny.  What do you need in terms of resource?  In other words it is, it handles that economic factor in terms of the org’s delivery. And for the public making it up the Bridge.

I’ve got news for Miscavige and his minions. In addition to delivering another several hundred hours of auditing at all levels over the past couple years including dozens of Grades, I have audited two people from their first introductions to Scientology through all Grades and NED to Clear.  Both were done precisely as LRH finally advised in the Grades package he finally settled on as his best shot at the modern Grade Chart – including Objectives on Grade I.  And both Clears were right within the time expectancy prescribed by LRH in LRH ED From Clear to Eternity.

I’ve got more news.  Miscavige’s intentions and actions with respect to objectives has nothing to do with speeding anyone’s progress up the Bridge to Total Freedom. Quite the contrary, he is doing all in his power to weld the doors to application of Scientology shut.  He is mis-using Objectives to drive thetans’ anchor points right back into the physical universe for the purpose of making tractable, robotic, deployable cult members.

More evidence that the only place Scientology will be practiced and survive is outside the confines of David Miscavige’s implant factory.

Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, An American Slave

Haydn James just wrote the following to me after he read  one of the books from the recommended reading section of this blog, A Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass,  an American Slave.  I’m posting Haydn’s communication to suggest other people read that book as well as consider reading some of the other books there too.

Marty,

I am sometimes slow on the uptake but I get there eventually. For  some years now you have recommended reading the account by Fredrick
Douglas of his life as a slave. To be honest, I thought: “Slavery is an abomination and shouldn’t be allowed, but that’s the long and the short of it so what’s to be gained by reading an account on the subject?”

Having just finished reading it I believe there is everything to be
gained.

There is no shift, mechanism, trick or means of domination used by
the slave master of old that isn’t used by David Miscavige. There
is no feeling, thought or emotion experienced by a slave that isn’t
felt by a Sea Org member, staff member or Scientologist under
Miscavige’s savage rule. There was no rationale, mind-set,
compromise or acceptance made by a slave that isn’t made by
Scientologists that are still trapped.

Some may say: “Sure but slaves were born to slavery whereas
Scientologists and Sea Org members volunteered for servitude.”
Well, I would say this: “In addition to the fact that I know of no
one that signed up for servitude, it was thrust upon them by
ambush, check out the accounts of children and youth that were born
into Scientology.”

I would much prefer to find differentiation rather than association
but between Mr. Douglas’ account of slavery and my experiences as a
Scientologist, staff and Sea Org member under Miscavige in the last
thirty years, as hard as I tried, I could only find association.

I have long sought the answer to the question of why do some shake
off Miscavige’s suppressive chains while others accept them,
reluctantly resolve to go along with the status quo and do nothing,
and some even go so far as to slavishly support their master? .

I finally found the answer in Mr. Douglas’ book — a very important
work.

Freedom is the senior datum, always was, always will be. Those left
in the “church” are enslaved because they have relegated freedom to
a junior level. They continue to make freedom less important than
the “Church” of Scientology and so are able to be enslaved by its
self appointed ruler. It’s an alteration of truth and natural law
that will persist until the matter is rectified. Until resolved
they will continue to feel all the sufferings that slaves of old
did.

Though it is 2011, I now consider myself an abolitionist. Slavery
is masquerading as religion and in a perverse twist of fate is
using a movement that had total freedom as its goal.

Total freedom is still the goal.

Haydn James

A couple of observations.  While Douglass writes of being a slave, more importantly the narrative recounts his metamorphosis from that beingness  into that of a free man.  I recommended the book because I believe there is no difference in the evolution he navigated and that which must be negotiated by anyone living with a slave-like mentality, whether that state was enforced from birth physically or mentally or was self imposed. Here is a man who was born into slavery but recognized he remained in that state first and foremost because he agreed to continue to do so on some level.  If Frederick Douglass could escape that prison mentally, then physically, then continue to work on his freedom and get there spiritually in the mid 1800s – all on his lonesome – then not a single one of us has any excuse to continue to walk about with shackled minds.  It is about removing the shackles of other-determinism and walking the walk of self-determinism.

Inner Core Meltdown in Miscavige’s Bunker

In the past year three, if not four, of Miscavige’s five closest aides have left not only his inner circle, not only the International Scientology Headquarters base, but also have left the Sea Organization.

Circa early 2011 Miscavige’s “org board”, if one could call his arbitrary chaos such, was manned as follows:

Chairman of the Board –  Miscavige

COB Hey You Enforcer (Jenny Linsen Devocht)

COB Project Ops/WDC for Idle Orgs (Angie Blankenship)

Int Landlord Building team   (I/C  Bob Wright,  2nd Laurance Barram)

Spokesman/Celeb Boy Friday, (Tommy  Davis)

For the past several years new buildings have been 90% of Miscavige’s and Int base’s focus.  That is why Blankenship, Wright and Barram were so cherished by Miscavige.

So important to and trusted by Miscavige were these building people, that beside his Communicator Laurisese Stuckenbrock, these five were the only people Miscavige communicated with daily consistently for any appreciable amount of time.   Realize, every one of the five are fourth stringers – but that is what he was down to in 2011.

So trusted was this handful of people that when John Brousseau escaped the Int base to my home in Texas in April 2010, Miscavige sent four of these five people in a private jet to recover him (Tommy Davis, Angie Blankenship,  Bob Wright and Laurance Barram).  As JB’s evidence unfolded on this blog for months, all four were driven into the ground by Miscavige for their epic failure of a mission.  Three of the four responded by going out 2D (sexual relations outside of marriage).

Angie Blankenship got pregnant by the step son of OT Ambassador (and IAS robot) Tony Falcaro, whom she finagled into a secret liaison while supervising heavy building extortion on public and outsourcing expensive building plans in Los Angeles.  Angie was routed out with her new beau and they were put up in Tony’s Santa Monica condo.

Bob Wright and Laurance went out 2D and were routed out into a comfortable little home just a few miles from the Flag Land Base in Clearwater Florida.  They have an over the top flood light system in the front yard and literally hid behind furniture like rats when a former Sea Org comrade paid a visit to see whether they could use a hand re-adjusting in the real world – then squealed to Miscavige for “help.”

Blankenship, Wright and Barram being of the weaker, out ethics stock that filled the vacuum around Miscavige when anybody who had any real life heavy lifting experience left (JB being the last of them) were all too anxious to be bought off with handsome “severance packages” for their continuing cooperation with Miscavige’s ongoing obstruction of justice.

All three witnessed Miscavige’s serial violence and human trafficking violations right up to this year.  Blankenship in fact was Miscavige’s number one enforcer during the early years of the Hole (prison and torture chamber at the International base). All three will never speak a word of it, because all three have been made materially comfortable for life by Miscavige. Miscavige has surrounded himself with out-ethics types who care for personal comfort and wealth above the rights and freedom of their fellows.  None of them know the first thing about what Scientology is nor do they have any familiarity with the gains it can deliver.

This is the level of ethics at the top  of the “church” of Scientology’s organizational structure.

Tommy Davis has been disappeared by Miscavige.  He is reportedly negotiating away his right to free speech and duty to report serial federal felonies in exchange for comfort and “protection” at this writing.

All Miscavige has left are two women whom he always had 2D designs on, his “Communicator” Laurisse Stuckenbrock and Jenny Linsen Devocht.   Both have been fashioned into back stabbing, cutthroat shrews by the hand of David Miscavige.  Jenny had a pscychotic break in the hole in 2004 after the treatment she got for nattering about Miscavige.  She has been an unquestioning attack dog for him since.  Once in 2010 when Jenny comm lagged on a Miscavige question Miscavige had Laurisse slap Jenny hard repeatedly across the face.  That is right, after Miscavige had 42 sworn declarations signed by Int base staff (including Jenny and Tommy Davis) swearing Miscavige had never visited violence upon a single soul, Miscavige ordered the woman (Jenny) who on national television told Anderson Cooper to his face that Miscavige had never initiated violence ever, be delivered a severe beating by Miscavige’s Communicator directly.

The Miscavige bunker walls are crumbling while Miscavige’s reach shrinks and he is reduced to obsessing over getting to people who know his crimes and buying them before they turn his sorry butt over to the authorities.

Meanwhile, the International headquarters of radical corporate Scientology  burns, figuratively.

As my earlier predictions of sociopath Miscavige’s self-implosion materialize, it is incumbent on us all to gear up to pick up the broken pieces, those thousands of gullible Scientologists who have remained under the dying dictator’s command.

The strategy is simple: Deliver, prepare to deliver more, then deliver more.

In my opinion, training is the key to the kingdom – as there is far too much grab-ass going on in the field being passed off as Scientology.

the sociopath next door

Over the past three decades David Miscavige has done his best to reverse the practice of Scientology. That is, the further one moves up the Bridge in the church of Scientology the more zealous, tractable, solid, narrow-minded, and in most cases miserable one becomes.  That is not to say that people cannot attain higher Grades and Levels of spiritual state and understanding. It means that those gains are manipulated by deceit and conditioning and stress toward molding a person into a conscienceless, deployable agent for an ill-intentioned cult leader.  Being the consummate covertly hostile suppressive person, Miscavige has managed to do so while stage managing a false identity to his public that he is L Ron Hubbard’s guy.

Miscavige is very well described in the Science of Survival and in PTS/SP technical bulletins, policy letters and lectures.  In fact, the reason why Miscavige could manage his complete reversal of the subject of Scientology with the willing help of thousands of staff members and thousands of once-well-heeled public Scientologists is all explained rather neatly in these Hubbard materials.

Becoming disaffected with the “church” and Miscavige, leaving one’s life works in the “church” behind,  some people have tended to leave behind some of what they learned too.  Most commonly, first and foremost they leave behind PTS/SP technology.  It makes sense.  After all, it is the technology that protects good people against people who intend harm to others.   And so many good people’s experience within the church proved to them that PTS/SP technology is faulty, does not work, or in many cases is the cause of their own travails.

Most people I have encountered who have left the church went through decompression periods of their own. That is, a length of time to destimulate (settle spiritually) from the collective, suppressive acts that finally prompted them to cut ties with the cult while trying to put those experiences into some kind of perspective against their new experiences in the outside world.  The lengths of those periods have varied from months to years to decades.

During my own decompression period I did not want to read or hear anything about Scientology.  That included reading Hubbard books or listening to his lectures.  While I never doubted any gains I had achieved and used my training in living life, delving back into the subject brought about depressing emotions with the recognition that the entity that “owned” the technology was for all intents and purposes destroying it.  I have found that many people shared that resistance during their decompressions.

But I never lost the love of reading and learning and devoured many books on other subjects that interested me at any given time.  Some of them helped immensely in giving perspective in evaluating my life, including my then twenty seven year experience in and with Scientology.  Some books validated and enhanced understandings I had attained from studying Hubbard. I have shared some of those books in the Recommended Reading section of this blog – see the subject bar on the home page of Moving On Up A Little Higher.

I am adding to that list a remarkable book that I just finished, The Sociopath Next Door by Martha Stout.  I am adding it because I think it might do quite a lot of good for a lot of people who left the church of Scientology.  Not only for those not wanting to review any Scientology material, but for anyone who has encountered David Miscavige or his minions dutifully carrying out his directives.

Stout is a clinical psychologist who specialized for twenty-five years in helping the victims of sociopaths.   The first half of her book shares her real life observations about sociopaths and the effects they have upon social personalities.  Her observations are remarkably parallel to Hubbard’s description of the Suppressive Person.   Note, modern accepted characteristics of the sociopath very closely align with Hubbard’s descriptions of the emotional tone level of Covert Hostility and of the Suppressive Person.  This is so much the case that I have taken to using the terms “suppressive person” and “sociopath” interchangeably.

But, Stout’s first and foremost marker for the sociopath is more complementary of Hubbard’s work than it is duplicative.  Per Stout, the sociopath first and foremost lacks conscience.  It is a very useful and workable observation she shares.

Stout’s second chapter, ice people: the sociopaths, provides an actual case history that, but for career choice and resulting milieu of operation, could serve as the biography of David Miscavige.

Later in the book Stout gives another common denominator of sociopaths that again insightfully adds to one’s arsenal against being ruined by one, the pity play:

The most reliable sign, the most universal behavior of unscrupulous people is not directed, as one might imagine, at our fearfulness. It is, perversely, an appeal to our sympathy.

If you have followed this blog for long, you will know that I have several times wrote of Miscavige’s unnatural ability to paint himself as a victim.  As Stout notes, when a true sociopath is about to get caught out, he or she can very convincingly garner sympathy to divert attention from self.   Miscavige’s ability on that score has become institutionalized.  Virtually all International Association of Scientologist promo and briefings over the past two decades are outright fraudulent, falsely painting pictures of persecution against the cult.  Another example, the folks who have used 24/7/365 surveillance on my wife and me, who have overtly harassed us for 180 odd days running, with straight faces convince a clueless magistrate they must arrest me to protect them.

Stout recognizes the potential for suppressive/sociopathic groups, particularly “religious” ones.  Her description of one “church” sounds hauntingly like what has become of the conscienceless radical corporate church of Scientology:

As an illustration, one can cite the Creativity Movement, a militantly anti-Semitic and anti-Christian group formerly known as the World Church of the Creator, which is a religion founded on the love of the “White Race” and the prescribed hatred of everyone else. Within this doctrine, everyone who is not “White” is by definition a member of one of the “mud races.”  The central moral precept of the Creativity Movement is expressed as follows: “What is good for the White Race is the highest virtue; what is bad for the White Race is the ultimate sin.”   Unsurprisingly, the long-term goal of the Creativity Movement is to organize the “White Race” to achieve world domination.

The conscienceless organization, justifying any means by its alleged assistance toward an end, committing any crime against another person without remorse as long as it can be rationalized as forwarding the group’s power.

Perhaps most importantly, Stout describes how good, intelligent people wind up doing the bidding of a sociopath.

Excerpt:

Why are conscience-bound human beings so blind? And why are they so hesitant to defend themselves, and the ideals and people they care about, from the minority of human beings who possess no conscience at all?  A large part of the answer has to do with the emotion and thought processes that occur in us when we are confronted with sociopathy.  We are afraid, and our sense of reality suffers.  We think we are imagining things, or exaggerating, or that we ourselves are somehow responsible for the sociopath’s behavior.

It goes deeper when it comes to an organization emphasizing the importance of hierarchy and authority. Along the way she gives probably the best sum up and analysis I have read of the Stanley Milgram experiments on how authority can trump conscience.

While the last 1/3 or so of Stout’s book meanders down a sometimes painful path of speculations about possible genetic sources for sociopathy, it still manages to impart useful observations.   It was useful for me in this respect, I was able to recognize that despite Stout’s wonderful contributions (and clearly unintended validation of Hubbard’s work) modern mental health practitioners, regardless of their evolutionary progress over the past four decades, are still shackled by their inability to perceive or unwillingness to credit the spirit or soul.

Just because one is out from under the influence of the cult run by the sociopath/suppressive person of all sociopaths/suppressive persons is no reason not to read this book and hopefully recount, and maybe even re-study your Science of Survival and PTS/SP pack.  Stout, as Hubbard did forty-five years ago, recognizes that our inability to properly identify sociopaths and prevent the havoc they wreak is one of the greatest threats to humankind.

I post this as  food for thought for anyone clinging to remnants of Scientology cult think.   I have observed a lot of  noise  stemming from what I consider remnant cult, group think perhaps instilled by the Radical Corporate church of Scientology.  Noise such as, “hey, I relied on the guy because he’s an Indie, and he screwed me; just what kind of group is this?”   Or, “the guy was a total squirrel, evaluated me back to the stone ages, and I thought he was an Indie.”  Or, worse still, “he’s your friend on Facebook, so I trusted him with boatloads of incriminating information about myself.”  Note: I don’t have a clue who 3/4 of my friends on Facebook are, I’ve accepted them on face value – as do the majority of Facebook users – in order to increase the channels of communication for my own messages.

I find such grousing to be sad.  Sad, because it is the same kind of think prevalent in corporate Scientology that makes it a cult.  “Hey, flow power to Richie cause he’s a patron diamontorious with fairy dust wings”; and many did and lost their retirement funds.  “Of course I hired her, she’s on course every night”; and the 1.1 winds up going to bed with her husband.  “COB said an F/N must have three swings and each swing has to have a little flourish at the end in order to qualify”; and the case is overrun below the ground.

I’ve got some heartbreaking news for those who want to leave one cult to join another, this here is the Independent movement.  There are only two things you can be mildly sure that you hold in common with anybody calling him or herself an Independent Scientologists upon first encounter: a)  the idea that the “church” of Scientology practices reverse Scientology, and b) notwithstanding the recognition of “a” the idea that he or she hasn’t foresaken his or her wins and continues to practice Scientology as he or she sees fit.

Now, those are not insignificant common denominators, but they are the only ones you can be reasonably sure exist upon introduction to someone calling him or herself an Independent Scientologist.  Beyond that the friendships you make are your responsibility. The partnerships you develop are based on your own due diligence. The practices you engage in are your own responsibility.

Here is an analogy.  You might consider yourself a Republican by political affiliation.  Does that mean you unconditionally trust the other 100 million people in America who also consider themselves Republicans?   No, it means you know only that you have one thing in common when you meet another person who considers him or herself a Republican; and only one thing.   After communicating and socializing you may find that you have a great deal of other interests, opinions, and activities in common.  You may go on to create great things together, maybe even something that forwards Republican notions.  But if you find you are diametrically opposed on a number of issues, whether it is your views of what it means to be a Republican or how the gay neighbor down the street ought to be treated or how business ought to be conducted in the free enterprise system, you aren’t likely to partner up on anything significant. And if you do partner up in whatever endeavor, and you are disappointed, you aren’t going to go bitching to the Republican National Chairman to “handle” your new friend.

Back to Independent Scientologist reality.   The matter is complicated by people who are adept at capitalizing on the group think card.  Some people are really good at appealing to one’s own third dynamic sense of responsibility with the “you really strengthen the group by helping me get ahead” play.  They have gotten by over the years on the sweat of others by blending into the “group”;  they can actually make you feel responsible for their survival for they promote what they do for the “group”, while examination of their products finds few at best.  Such people use the “group” as a crutch and a maze with which to mask their own lack of personal responsibility.

It is further complicated by OSA’s ongoing programs to infiltrate the Independent field with trolls and agents provocateur.   Their mission orders are to use the alleged cred of  agreements “a” and “b” above to embed themselves, then spread as much third party, rumor, and personal scandal as possible, and then ruthlesslessly exploit resultant dramas as “Independent Scientologist” group practice.  Their overriding program running for two years calls for creating as much enturbulance as possible in the Independent field so that I, by name, am reduced to labeling who is good, trustworthy, and reliable and declaring who is not. The idea is to position me with their own cult leader Miscavige.

OSA is expert at creating an us vs them mentality in the minds of the not-quite-bright.  They actually study Hubbard technical references on how the reactive mind is constructed and drill how to use that knowledge to instill and capitalize on reactive, group think.  They understand that pack mentality can lead to mob insanity.  Next thing you know you’ve got yourself a reactive, destructive cult.  And thus most of OSA’s propaganda takes grains of truth OSA itself has nurtured and constructs elaborate, restimulative labels that characterize its perceived enemies as the type of destructive cult itself has become.

The remedy is simple.  Learn and use Scientology to improve your ability to differentiate between people who can be relied upon and those who cannot. Learn and use your Science of Survival and PTS/SP tech.  Sans some elected authority who labels people for the good of “everyone” (who can be and historically have been corrupted by motivations other than the good of “everyone”) the technology is nothing less than brilliant.  (More on how society’s “experts” on the mind are beginning, fifty years after the fact, to recognize its wisdom in later posts).  It is vital technology for optimum survival whether you are engaged in or affiliated with Scientology, Independent or otherwise, or not.  Hubbard said of that technology and the ability to differentiate between the social personality and the anti-social personality:

Of all our technical skills, such differentiation ranks the highest since, failing, no other skill can continue, as the base on which it operates – civilization – will not be here to continue it…

Unless we realize and apply the true characteristics of the two types of personality, we will continue to live in a quandary of who our enemies are and, in doing so, victimize our friends

All men have committed acts of violence or omission for which they could be censured.  In all mankind there is not one single perfect human being.

But there are those who try to do right and those who specialize in wrong and upon these facts and characteristics you can know them.
