Expansion?
Remember the BIG LIE that Mike Rinder alluded to a couple weeks ago in his article on this blog? That LIE serves to perpetuate DM’s ghastly reg machine tactics. That lie justifies habitual felonious behavior on DM’s part. It justifies asking for ever escalating “donations” to DM’s war chest to protect him from the “ogre” that might eat his enterprise up. It justifies his very existence. As his boy Tommy puts it to the media, that lie is the alleged “explosive expansion” the church is experiencing. Sadly, some people are so invested in DM’s game that they want to believe the big lie. The truth is that the Scientology Network is in its sickest state ever.
While the evidence of contraction is plain in virtually any city where Scientology once flourished, some interesting documentary evidence recently surfaced. Now, imagine for a moment that the once-mighty Church of Scientology Mission of Davis was literally begging public for hand outs to pay the staff and cover the rent. Unimaginable, right? Wrong. The proof follows in an email from the Mission Holder of the Mission of Davis to the field. Don’t buy the other propaganda that I or any other independent is “gloating” over this. Quite to the contrary, I find it heartbreaking.
One enemy line DM has broadcast far and wide against me is, “well, he isn’t doing anything about it. Marty isn’t producing a goddamn thing.” Well, I’ll tell you this much. I have personally delivered far more Scientology in the past year than the Mission of Davis. I can say the same of dozens of “Missions” and even some orgs. And I did not beg for a single red cent to do it. Moreover, I know of dozens of independent Scientologists in the field who have done so as well.
I’ll share another fact. If Steve Ferris asked me for guidance, I wouldn’t charge him a single red cent. And I guarantee you if he implemented 1/10th of what I advised, he’d have his place in the black in no time flat. First order of business would be cutting all comm with SMI, IAS, CSI, WUS, OSA, RTC and any other suppressive external influence on the Mission. Second order of business would be to have everyone study and apply Vol 0, OEC. Third order of business would be putting on a single-hatted Treasury Sec to sanely deal with the insane amounts of income they’d be shortly overwhelmed with in exchange for service delivered.
My gratuitous commentary aside, please make sure you are seated before you read the following email from the Mission Holder of the Mission of Davis:
Subject: FW: The Davis Mission Update
We all survive across the Dynamics in our own unique way. But one thing that we have in common with every person in the human race, is we all depend for our ultimate long-term survival upon one special type of person. The auditors and the support staff that keep them behind the e-meter. They clear the planet, while we do our nine to five jobs. They clear us.
Where would we be without the caring staff who got us up to our respective points on the Bridge?
Where would the Bridge be?
We owe a lot to these self-less beings. They don’t ask for much. Except that we flourish and prosper. That seems to be their paycheck. And that we have is dependant upon their having made sure that we won on course and in session.
As you know, a little more than a year ago, the Bridge touched down in a community that was without Scientology for 25 years. Our 1st year anniversary went quietly here in Davis. We had several new starts and the Academy has more students now than it’s ever had.
We are growing!
Our auditor in training, who’s also our supervisor, Mariette Stratton is pounding away at her interneship. And we’re seeing more and more public in here every week. There is no thrill like ushering a new person onto the Bridge.
But to continue putting Scientology back in Davis is taking a bit of energy. Green energy. Money. Cash. Coin of the realm. And we’ve run a bit low. The nuts and bolts of it is, we need a purif (which takes money to get going–ouch!) or an auditor to cover our monthly rent and utilities. Mariette is interning her little heart out. Until we have that nailed down, and perhaps for a while to get the lines grooved in, we depend upon the kindness of the Old Davis Hands scattered across the Planet.
Many of us have raised children. It’s not a short term project. You don’t kick a kid out the front door when he’s 8 months old with a couple of spare bottles of milk and a box of Pampers. You raise them up until somewhere in their late teens or mid-twenties. At that point the expenditures end and you have an independent self-supporting adult.
Starting a mission is like raising that kid. But there is a difference. It doesn’t take 20 years before you begin to get a return flow. We’re getting one now. But it will take a while before that flow is sufficient for the mission to be self-supporting.
Each month we are a little closer to being self-sufficient. In 100 months, we will be flying solo. 50 months from now? We’ll be about half-way there. But our staff can’t be trying to line up money every month to pay the rent! We need to work on what will make us self-sufficient! Getting public on and up the Bridge. So what is the answer? It’s been a real puzzle.
I figured it out while I was singing in the shower. It was that old tune, “100 bottles of beer”. You know the one. “You take one down, pass it around, 99 bottles of beer on the wall etc.” At about 96 I realized that I’d hit on something!
If we can find 15 people to pay $100.00 a month (in March). We’ll cover our FP. But in April, we’ll do a little bit better, so we don’t need $100.00 in April. $99.00 will work fine. And May? $98.00. And each month $1.00 less. That’s what we need. 15 people who care enough about Davis to stay with us as things gradually get better. As we come off the tricycle and get on that two wheeler with training wheels and finally when 15 people write their final check for $1.00 the training wheels will come off and we’ll pedal down the road under our own motivation.
In August we needed 15 people. But now, thanks to Diane Swann, Lisa and John Doughty, Kelly and Lynanne Melhaff, Eric and Mariette Stratton and Phil MacDonald we only need 10 more people. Ten more people to assure the Bridge stays in Davis. It left once. We need your help to make sure it stays here forever.
Our staff is devoted to helping out the students and people of Davis. But they’re not going to be able to keep doing it without your help. However, each month, we’ll need a little less. Each month, it will be a little easier for you as we get a little stronger.
Davis used to be the biggest mission on the planet. 3 Freedom Medal winners call Davis their Alma Mater. The future is bright. But in the short term, it’s still a little overcast.
Davis staff needs your help. And you can help.
Call me or email me right away, please. Time is of the essence.

Happy Birthday Mosey!
I’ve been planning to acknowledge her on her birthday 23 Feb. It is hard to describe just how special this being Mosey (Monique) is. After failing to find the words, I decided to share a short chapter of a book I’ve been working on. I think it gives one at least a glimpse of what I am talking about
Chapter ___
She said I need you to hold me
I’m a little far from the shore
and I’m afraid of sinking
You’re the only one who knows me
and who doesn’t ignore
that my soul is weeping
– Jamie Houston, Buck Johnson and Damon Johnson
In the Spring of 2006 I lay dying in bed. I hadn’t moved for a week but to occasionally struggle up to use the bathroom, and perhaps ingest a bit of sustenance. When I did rise the entire room swayed as if I were aboard a vessel in a stormy sea. Within minutes I would be so exhausted I would stagger for the bed to lie down once again. For forty-eight hours I hadn’t risen at all, having no more appetite there was nothing to expel from my body. The entire time Chiquita sat on the corner of the bed, looking at me sorrowfully with her usually perky golden ears now drooping like a hound dog. At first she tried to revive me by licking the side of my face. When she failed after several days of effort, she stopped eating too. By then, lying down did not stop the dizziness.
Monique tried to persuade me to see a doctor. She thought perhaps I had West Nile fever because of all the tromping around the local bayous I had done with my camera and dog in tow. Bayous had been my sanctuary, where I’d go for space, contemplation and solitude. But, I knew there was nothing physically wrong with me, technically. By then I was not aware enough to pinpoint it precisely, but the cause later became clear; I was dying of a broken heart and spirit. It started when I decided that I had placed myself in an untenable position and had utterly failed.
I had reasoned that I could not totally commit to Monique. Yes, she was the light of my life. Yes, she was the embodiment of the unconditional love that each of us harbors a longing to obtain, even if kept as a low burning desire deep down within our souls. It was the ultimate in dichotomy. The closer we became, the more guilty I felt for denying her access to Scientology. I was a Suppressive Person (an excommunicated one) according to the Church, meaning anyone connected to me would be automatically denied access to Scientology because of it. I could imagine under no circumstances reconciling that split. I had earlier ultimately decided the only way I could possibly impinge on Scientology’s leader Miscavige to reform his escalating sadistic conduct was to create a shock by leaving. Even if I had a desire to return it was impossible to do without becoming a prisoner because of what I knew – something I was unwilling to ever again become. Because I had seen indications that my leaving had precisely the opposite effect, and Miscavige had instead accelerated his madness, I recognized that I had accomplished nothing.
In fact, it was worse than nothing, because as long as Monique remained my partner she would be unqualified to participate in Scientology. If ever there were a special being who deserved to sample the spiritual gains possible through Scientology, it was Monique. Matter of fact, from the few writings she had read, and the teachings I passed on to her in conversation, she was far more of what Scientology founder Hubbard defined as a “Scientologist” than just about anyone I had known in my twenty-seven year experience within the organization. But as I had become more familiar with her life I knew she, like any one else I had ever met, would benefit greatly from formal auditing up the Scientology grade chart.
It did not become clear to me till later that I was removing myself as her problem. I loved her so much that I unwittingly willed my own death so that she might one day experience that which my very existence was denying her. This was no high minded martyrdom going on. I was not even consciously aware of the decision. All I knew at that time was that on one particular morning the body was going to complete the process of shutting down, I (the spirit) was going to slip out and move along. Monique’s hurt and Chiquita’s mourning were painful, but for the greatest good I knew I was simply an impediment to the advance of a far more gifted and wonderful person.
Monique kissed me on the forehead before taking off for work that morning.
Man, I felt bad about leaving – but I resigned myself to the fact it was inevitable. I felt like I was living in a surrealistic haze. There was no sound, but the occasional low, muffled whining of Chiquita – she sensed something was wrong. There was no time, no space, no energy, and finally no matter. All I felt was absolute exhaustion and weakness, no ability to even maintain involuntary nervous system function. Then, I began to sense myself slowly rising through the top of my skull. I could faintly make out the room from a point of view a foot above my head. It was all ethereal shadows. Chiquita’s whimpers startled me and held me in equilibrium; I was in suspended animation in that spot for some time. Finally, I began to ever so slowly float above that spot, I could see the room with my own body lying in the bed below all in black, white, and gray shadows.
Suddenly, I – me, the spirit not part of the body – sensed an urgency some distance off. Just then, the sliding door between the living room and driveway opened. Seconds later Monique appeared in the doorway. She looked toward me, not the body. She said “Mark, don’t leave me. I need you to please stay with me.” I had never experienced more love directed at me, ever. In a heartbeat I was back just above my head, comfortably. Monique was holding my head to her cheek with her hands. I felt an indescribable warmth and life force course through my body, starting with the head and flowing to my fingers and toes.
Monique pulled back, continuing to hold my head in her hands, she looked directly at me, face to face. Suddenly, I could see with perfect clarity. First, the physical beauty. Then as we continued to gaze at one another, I perceived a spirit and it occupied the entire room. While my body was still weak, I felt more alive than I ever had in my life.

Stepping out of line
Do not confuse the Reformation with the reform of the Catholic church. The latter was a consequence of the former. The Reformation refers to the reforming of the religion of Christianity. That entailed the breaking of the monopoly the Catholic church held up to that point on Christianity the subject. Reformation began by pointing out to the Pope and Christians what was wrong with the monopoly, setting forth its abuses so that they might be corrected. The all powerful monopoly reacted much like the C of M of today. That is, rather than reform itself it branded the reformers as ‘heretics’, prounouncing them guilty of “blasphemy”. Instead of accepting the labels and conforming, the founders of the Reformation recognized they did not need the church in order to practice their religion.
The “Counter Reformation”, wherein the Catholic church begrudgingly began to change some protested practices, occured long after the Reformation was in full bloom, only when it became clear that the monopoly had been broken and that in order to survive the Catholic church would have to compete in the marketplace of ideas.
In the early 16th century Martin Luther didn’t consider then-reigning Pope Leo X was such a bad guy. He recognized however that the Curia and the priesthood had been so thoroughly corrupted over time – and its vested interest in keeping matters corrupt so precious and innate, the only reform of the institution would come as a reaction to enough people refusing to continue to empower and enable it. That is, discontinue lemminmg-like compliance to the church’s anti-Christian practices, and cease contributing to its vast building fund and war chest coffers.
Luther’s attitude toward Leo X serves to demonstrate how the Scientology Reformation is that much more necessary and inevitable. In contrast to Leo X, Miscavige himself is the author of Reverse Scientology. He micro manages every action and utterance of Scientology management, ruthlessly controlling his kingdom with an iron fist.
If you think the Catholic church analogy is far out, consider the fact that Miscavige doesn’t. He has directly ordered both Mike Rinder and Tommy Davis to position Miscavige as “the Pope of Scientology”.
If you believe that Scientology managers will magically arise, topple Miscavige and right the ship you should consider the following facts. The last three people who I witnessed advise Miscavige contrary to his own spontaneous evil impluses on matters of importance were myself, Shelly Miscavige and Mike Rinder. When Mike Rinder told Miscavige which way was up, he was subjected to dozens of ruthless beatings and torture in the Hole (yes, torture by any current, civilized definition of the word). When I attempted to advise Miscavige against insane dictates one too many times, he threw a several hour tantrum at Int HQ whining that nobody in the Sea Org, no public, no media, not even the Internal Revenue Service backflashed him, but I did. His handling was to sentence me to the Hole jail house, where he tried to turn me into a mouse. Mike and I opted out of the game when it became apparent to us that independent thought had been oppressed into oblivion on the Int base and was about to be extinguished in ourselves. Shelly Miscavige was similarly handled by Miscavige. She was sent to do years of hard time at the Church of Spiritual Technology fortified compound near Lake Arrowhead, subjected to personal invalidation to the point of apathy and silence.
There has been no, NO, check on Miscavige’s evil impulses since. None. The people who remain at Int have long since be neutered of the notion they could ever confront Miscavige. Those who dream of an internal uprising are whistling past their own graveyards. No one is left in Miscavige’s perimeter but mice.
The idea of declaring independence from the C of M was not an arbitrary one. From long, hard experience we learned that the only way to break free of DM’s stanglehold on thought is to discontinue investing DM with power. In his 1998 profile interview with the SP Times DM defined power as “will people listen to you?” He rose to power on that principle and continues the practices of imprisonment of body and soul on the same principle. To play DM’s game requires you let DM win. He innately and instinctively applies the most ruthless and violent measures to squash dissent or even percieved disloyalty in his environment. This is a man who cannot even play a game of cards without overtly cheating.
Exercise of independence, both physical and mental, is the historically proven solution to overcoming tyrany. It worked during the Reformation, it worked during the struggle for American Independence, it worked for India following Gandhi’s lead, it worked during the civil rights movement. It is working now.
It was the factors outlined herein that prompted us to encourage people to overtly declare their independence. The initiaters of the Protestant Reformation did not publish in anonymity or shyly sneak around in the shadows. Nor did the American founding fathers. Nor did Gandhi. Nor did Martin Luther King. They didn’t hide in little cliques and natter about how victimized they had become. A victim causes nothing but his own continued suffering. The only way to ultimately handle oppression and suppression is to turn around and face down the demons that have been hunting you. Only then do suppressives lose their power. Their only strength lies in others’ reluctance to step out of line.
If you want to be at effect, stay in line, hunch your shoulders and remain silent. If you want to move on over to cause, step out of line with authority and sound off.

Momentary Reprieve – final purges part 5
By her own vigilance and a simple twist of fate Debbie was temporarily reprieved from the living hell of the Hole. Having missed his May 9th event target for releasing the Basics, DM then scheduled a special Maiden Voyage at Flag release event.
Catching wind of this Debbie very artfully indirectly got word to DM that such a plan would fail miserably without Debbie on the scene coordinating the massive logistics required to pull it off at Flag.
DM did order Debbie back to Flag and she managed to get back on her Capt FLB post. However, after using her credibility to lure in the public and make them buy into DM’s “New Era of Knowledge”, DM had her completely de-powered. He briefed the RTC Reps and the CMO on how “1.1. and evil” she was, how she had “sabotaged everything”. The briefings included a number of alleged lies that Debbie had allegedly told him about Flag renos/construction – that of course, as per usual, were utter inventions of DM’s paranoid mind. RTC Reps and CMO terminals were shell shocked. Last time they saw Debbie she was DM’s Golden Girl, getting promoted to Int. They, however, put their own perceptions aside to carry out “command intention” with gusto.
DM had RTC Reps gunning for Debbie. Ty Webb had replaced my former wife Anne as RTC Rep Flag. Anne had been sent to Int to do DM’s dirty work there. Other RTC Reps came in and out, such as Lurie Belotti from the ship, all briefed to hound Debbie, which they dutifully did.
This was the final decimation of Flag. Debbie, her staff, and FSO executives were pounded to do nothing but “sales and sign ups for the Basics”, and all standard FSO business went by the wayside – treated as a nuisance. DM dictates such as “all base execs and crew do not go home at night until all Basics quotas are met” severely disestablished what Debbie had spent nearly thirty years helping to put there.
All the while Debbie was suffering from a physical condition; one which more than anything required proper nutrition, exercise and rest to handle. Under DM’s “Basics” drive, instead Debbie was subjected to bad nutrition, no exercise, little rest. To top it off, DM – as is his standard operating procedure – saw to it that Debbie was taken off of Solo NOTS, and was instead subjected to continuous invalidative sec checking.
Debbie continually originated that her physical pain was intensifying. Every origin was ignored. Finally, she was pulled in for a Severe Reality Adjustment by RTC Rep Ty Webb to “stop motivating”, and put on a “COB ordered Ethics program” which included “M-9 the entire Ethics book.”
Debbie’s freedom was being systematically destroyed. She was prohibited from driving. She had a full time CMO guard on her.
During this campaign to disgrace Debbie in her own house, FSO was being converted into the Reg factory it has become. Debbie’s only ally and comfort was her husband Wayne Baumgarten. DM’s vampire insticts picked up on some external force keeping Debbie’s head above water and soon Wayne was pulled in to Security FLB and subject to DM’s Shock Doctrine. Wayne was told confess to suppressive acts. When he expressed surprise, he was told he was going to the RPF. He could either go for the crimes he confesses, or for withholding the crimes – and that if it were the latter he’d be in for a far more unpleasant experience than if he were to choose the former.
Debbie recognized she was losing the last (and most important) part of her life in Wayne and so drawing on her personal persuasion skills she had honed over the past thirty years, she somehow convinced Security to allow Wayne to visit her one night at the Hacienda.
The next morning, Debbie and Wayne were transported to the base by her guard in a Flag van. Debbie convinced the driver to stop at the galley in the Clearwater bank building so that they could pick up some breakfast. The guard pulled up to the CB, got out and went into the CB to get the food.
When the guard disappeared into the building, Debbie jumped into the driver’s seat and sped off. She and Wayne drove to a rental car lot, rented a car, and left the van behind.
It did not take long for the OSA dragnet to kick into action.

The Real Third Party by Mike Rinder
There has been some discussion of late concerning the 3P that exists between “Scientology” and “Independents”.
LRH states:
The law would seem to be:
A THIRD PARTY MUST BE PRESENT AND UNKNOWN IN EVERY QUARREL
FOR A CONFLICT TO EXIST.
Or
FOR A QUARREL TO OCCUR, AN UNKNOWN THIRD PARTY MUST BE
ACTIVE IN PRODUCING IT BETWEEN TWO POTENTIAL OPPONENTS.
Or
WHILE IT IS COMMONLY BELIEVED TO TAKE TWO TO MAKE A FIGHT, A
THIRD PARTY MUST EXIST AND MUST DEVELOP IT FOR ACTUAL CONFLICT TO
OCCUR.
It is very easy to see that two in conflict are fighting. They are very visible. What is harder to see or suspect is that a third party existed and actively promoted the quarrel. The usually unsuspected and “reasonable” third party, the bystander who denies any part of it is the one that brought the conflict into existence in the first place.
…
One sees two fellows shouting bad names at each other, sees them come to blows. No one else is around. So they, of course, “caused the fight”. But there was a third party. Tracing these down, one comes upon incredible data. That is the trouble. The incredible is too easily rejected. One way to hide things is to make them incredible.
…
This theory might be thought to assert also that there are no bad conditions that cause conflict. There are. But these are usually REMEDIAL BY CONFERENCE UNLESS A THIRD PARTY IS PROMOTING CONFLICT.
If you look at the conflicts that Scientology is involved in, they range from “the Church” versus “Independents” to “the Church” versus “the media”, versus “the government”, “the French”, “the pharmaceutical companies”, “the psychs”, “the SPs”, “the squirrels”, “the out ethics public”, and on and on. Even the staff versus the public.
There is an old principle of investigation: trace back who benefits. What purpose is there for all this conflict to be fomented. There is an easy answer for that – one that every Scientologist is aware of, and it is increasingly apparent to one and all that it has become more important than the orgs and delivering LRH tech. The IAS. Every conflict, every disaster affords a new reason that money needs to be donated to the IAS.
But, LRH also says, you have to locate the hidden BEING behind the conflict.
That’s also easy. Look to see who benefits.
Who benefits from the IAS money? The Machiavellian Midget himself. It is this money that he uses to prop up his own PR and keep himself in power. It is this money that is used to buy empty buildings (as everyone just saw at the last IAS event) and generate PR about the “massive inroads” Scientology is making into the world with programs that are shown in PR videos at Miscavige’s events.
Remember, The incredible is too easily rejected. One way to hide things is to make them incredible. That is the reason Scientologists cannot spot the real 3P. It is too incredible. How could the “Dear Leader” who has been responsible for the incredible expansion of Scientology, be a bad hat 3P? Well, he has conducted a campaign of PR by redefinition of words.
The big lie he is perpetrating is that Scientology is expanding like never before. The evidence to “prove” this is the purchase/renovation and opening of “new” Ideal Orgs. In truth, MEST has been substituted for real expansion in a sleight of hand that has been so deft that most Scientologists don’t see it. Of course, every person who calls himself or herself a Scientologist naturally wants to see Scientology expanding. Who, other than a real SP, would not want others to achieve the gains they have achieved? Who, other than a real SP, would not want to destimulate the planet by getting as many people as possible to be able to erase their reactive minds? Who, other than an SP, would not want everyone to be able to read and understand what they are reading with Study Technology. And after all, we all want a Cleared Planet as our ultimate goal.
The expansion of Scientology and the destimulation of the peoples of earth IS the greatest good for the greatest number of dynamics. And even a new Scientologist knows that this is the formula that when applied enhances survival. So, how do you persuade otherwise intelligent, well-meaning people (that is, the Scientologists of the world) to ignore obvious outnesses? You make the outnesses seem small when compared to the greater good. The LRH example comes to mind – if a vaccine saved thousands of lives, but killed a few, is it a pro-survival solution? Of course. So if under Miscavige’s leadership the Church has expanded at “explosive” rates does it really matter if he has been beating people up, spending money like a Saudi prince, knocking hats off those junior to him, destroying the management infrastructure etc. etc. etc.? Of course not.
But, what if that explosive expansion actually DIDN’T exist? What if those things that are said about Miscavige were not only true, they had in fact destroyed the very structure of organizations and management that LRH put in place, turning the executive echelon of Scientology into a mob of broken, mindless individuals, thus guaranteeing that no expansion would occur. What then?
Then Miscavige would have to come up with a way of demonstrating “expansion” without really having any, using whatever resources were available. Miscavige doesn’t have competent management at his disposal. But, he does have MONEY. Hundreds of millions of dollars. And though money won’t buy you love, nor happiness, it will buy MEST. So, here is Miscavige the Magician’s trick. Scrap the LRH plan of building orgs to St Hill Size (too hard to do anyway – and then there are those damned staff that have to be gotten to OT in the orgs and there’s no management to organize that) and replace it with “Ideal Orgs”. Oh how clever. There IS an LRH policy called Ideal Orgs, so it sounds legitimate. And you just keep talking about Ideal Orgs and make it the “thing to do” and pretty soon everyone will forget about the St Hill size orgs. And slowly, but surely, you redefine even the concept of an Ideal Org to being “ideal BUILDING”. And then you tell everyone that this is THEIR problem and make them “part of the game”. So, the OT Ambassadors and the local OT Committees and all local Scientologists now buy into the laudable objective of having a nice building for their org. But building the org itself – the people and the theta – they drift quietly into the background (until it comes to “Grand Opening” when a lot of people are going to see the “Ideal Org” on video and the broken down, discarded staff from Int and staff from other orgs are shipped in to make it appear temporarily the place is something more than merely a building).
So, Miscavige tells one and all that he is spearheading this massive expansion, proven by the “new” Ideal Orgs that are being opened. You hear it at the International events and you read about it in Freedom – pages and pages about Miscavige opening orgs (and not a mention of L. Ron Hubbard). And obviously anyone who says Miscavige is anything other than perfect is just an SP trying to destroy Scientology, because look at what he is doing and that IS the greatest good for the greatest number of dynamics.
Or is he really just the Wizard of Oz behind the curtain?
Or is he really the hidden Third Party that is too incredible for most Scientologists to spot?
It’s easy enough to know. Walk into any one of these “Ideal Orgs” and see whether there is massive expansion occurring? Do they have more or less staff than was shown on the video for their “Grand Opening”? How many students are in the course room? How many Clears have they made since they “opened”? Funny that you aren’t hearing about the massive expansion in these individual orgs. All you see about them is Miscavige cutting the ribbon and spouting flowery doublespeak written by the LRH Biographer and some shots of empty buildings.
Why you may ask don’t the people in the orgs say anything about this? It’s the old Roman strategy of “divide and conquer.” The few remaining staff huddled in the cold in the Buffalo “Ideal Org” think they are the only ones who have an empty org and that they are really out of step with the rest of the Scientology world. They don’t even want to ask the few remaining staff in Madrid what things are like over there. They’d probably be shot if they tried. And no public person wants to look like a fool after donating time and money to creating the “Ideal Org” and being good followers of the great COB and his “Command Intention” by questioning whether the org is doing well. They see it, but they quietly hope someone else is going to deal with it.
But there is another beauty to this plan too. It keeps everyone quiet. Because anyone who points out the obvious is labeled an SP. “Obviously” if someone is saying the orgs aren’t full and expanding they are CI – or worse yet, they are gloating about it and want it that way. And who would gloat at the poor staff who are there working their asses off day in and day out? Only a pure SP. Again, propaganda by redefinition of terms. Pointing out the obvious is redefined as gloating. The staff of those orgs are in the unenviable position of having no management to guide them. No programs. No marketing. Those things have all been forsaken for the “Ideal Org Strategy” because of course, once the “Ideal Org” has been shown on a video, it has no importance to Miscavige any longer. You can’t show a building opening twice. People might get suspicious.
It’s the big lie. It is clever. But when you analyse the FACTS, it is what it is. And until the real Third Party is spotted, the conflicts will continue.
And one last thing. The proof of this pudding is this: as soon as someone DOES spot the real source of the conflict, THE SP, charge blows, the clouds part and a whole lot of shaking starts going on.
Abilities return, sometimes chronic somatics even disappear, and things start going right again in one’s life. Hell, if you listen real close you might even hear scores of gentle “clicks” in the air, the sound of spines straightening up across the world.
