Stat Analysis of a Dead Radical church

I have commented before that LRH admin technology has long since been banned in Miscavige’s church.   Only in the independent field are those breakthroughs currently in use.  The core of LRH management tech is the multiple viewpoint system.  It is only possible where independent, uncooked, unaltered data is provided from many different viewpoints of the current scene.  For several months now, we have for the first time in decades made that possible with respect to Scientology. Thanks to Steve Hall, Jeff Hawkins, Amy Scobee, Marc Headley,  many other whistleblowers, bloggers and web site and forum operators; and all of YOU contributors.  Only here are we free to utilize Data Series Evaluator technology.  And only here do we pay heed to honest statistic analysis.

With inexorable promptitude (phrase borrowed from early eighties LRH ED tape) Samuel  submitted an enlightening stat analysis.  On the weekend when corporate Scientologists are being plied with false stats, false claims, and false braggadocio of the International Association of Shills annual implant, our own Samuel provided us with a verifiable statistical analysis of the state of Scientology.   Witness the Phoenix. Here it is for your review:

Madness from Coast to Coast – the Mosquitoes

Well, 36 hours after Daniel’s departure from Tiziano and Jamie’s,  six full time PIs still have the place under surveillance.     $30,000 to $50,000 spent per day, conservative estimate, in an attempt to cave in this couple.  Product?  $30,000 to $50,000 a day wasted, and their image as a radical, bullying cult more firmly etched in the public mind.

All the while, Lil’ Dave Lebow has been in Clearwater orchestrating full-time harrassment against Mike Rinder.

Some people have expressed to me the concern that my graphic reporting of the Radical Scientology Cult PI hijinks might tend to back off people who would otherwise step forward to help in the cause.  That may be so.  But, those who consider backing off ought to know that we are beginning to expererience a major tipping point that I suggested several months ago that we might see sooner or later. That is, when enough people stand up to the bullying rather than do what Miscavige intends the targets of his harassment to do – that is, shrink and crawl quietly into darkness – the in terorrem effect will, once and for all, be lost.  Remember, Miscavige has two missiles in his arsenal. One, intimidation with seemingly unlmited chutzpah and money in order to wear one down to the attitude of “it is not worth it any more.”  Two, when “one” has had its intended effect, use seemingly unlimited funds to either a) make the legal and PR trouble he has created with this over-the-top intimidation tactics go away, or b) throw the target a bone to settle and go away quietly.   I also said from the beginning that breaking the mafia-like monopoly of terror Miscavige runs is inevitable because we are a new breed of cat.  We are immune to both missiles in his arsenal.  We just ain’t afraid, and we are not buyable at any price.

With Radical Scientology PI’s swarming like mosquitos a few helpful tips are in order.

If you get messed with by the PI’s, realize that objective number one for OSA/Miscavige is to get into your head.  Did you know that when you scratch the itch after a mosquito bites, you exacerbate the problem by spreading its deposited poison?  If you can withstand the first few impulses to scratch, the itch will go away.

So, rule one is to not let them bother you.

However, this is not so workable when you are subjected to swarms of hungry mosquitoes. In that case, it will behoove you to swat the little peckers before they insert their blood suckers into your skin.  The key to this second rule, is don’t get frazzled. Do it sytematically, and calmly and you are liable to prevent much penetration. If it persists, you might want to fog or spray your area – treat them a bit more aggressively.  But, again a calm, rational approach works best.

If the mosquitoes persist and make your home, and your person, a habitat, then you had better have your perimeter treated, perhaps by a professional.   In the case of Miscavige’s mosquitoes, law enforcement is the best mosquito guard.  Some of his better paid mosquitoes will develop a resistance to the professional mosquito guard.  But, if you continue informing your local professionals they will likely up the gradient giving you a comfortable perimeter.

Dear Leader’s favorite private investigator, David Lubow, usually slinks around in the shadows pretending to be an International Man of Mystery. Most often he is found hiding on the other end of a phone spreading Black PR.  On that score, he has always served as an accurate reflection of Miscavige’s state of mind.  Accordingly, he has been spotted of late desparately attempting to get under targets’ skin, on the streets and sidewalks engaging in overt harassment.

Here he is two days ago surveilling Mike Rinder at a restaurant in Clearwater:

Did anyone see the resemblance to a mosquito?

Here is Lebow the very next day, across the street from Mike and Christie’s home in Tarpon Springs:

As you can see, Lebow is apparently using “swarm tech”, quite ineffectively.

Mike finally calls the local exterminator because Lebow, carrying out Miscavige’s On Human Behavior PAB tech of making himself so repulsive as to offend the sensibilities of innocents in the environment (namely Mike and Christie’s neighbors).   But, not before thoroughly reversing the flow by questioning the investigator to understand and document the nature of its harassment.

Again, don’t lose sight of this fact. Miscavige’s mission is to make all of his hosts in his image. Dave Lebow is a study in the current state of mind of David Miscavige.

Free Daniel Montalvo

Daniel Montalvo's first taste of freedom

About two weeks ago while I was taking a brief respite in the form of  a wonderful evening at the home of Mary Jo Leavitt, I received an urgent phone call from Tom Devocht.

Tom told me that he needed help with the escape of a 19-year-old staff member of Bridge Publications.  Daniel Montalvo never knew the outside world – having been in the Sea Org most of his life.  Several months ago Daniel and the rest of Bridge Publications staff were forced to read Miscavige’s Freedom magazine attacking myself, Mike Rinder, Amy Scobee, and Tom Devocht.  Daniel knew it was garbage because of what the rag had to say about Tom.  He knew Tom (when Tom was CO CMO CW) when Daniel was a young child and remembered him fondly for being so generous to and tolerant of children, including Daniel himself.

Consequently, Daniel searched the internet and, through my blog he found a means to get hold of Mike Rinder, whom he figured correctly could (and did) get him in touch with Tom.  Daniel told Tom he could no longer take the incessant stat push on books and tapes, the orders to carry out fraudulent practices against Scientology public, and  the Int-like DM tortures now being practiced by CMO PAC messengers regularly at Bridge Publications.  He said he knew nothing about the outside world, and knew virtually no one as never had a life outside the Sea Org.  Tom told Daniel he’d house him and employ him so that he could make a new start if he wished.

Daniel phoned that particular Friday night because there was a CMO mission running a rein of terror through Bridge for the usual down stats. All staff were being interrogated on the meter for outside connections and influences.  Daniel was certain he could not get away with withholding that he was reading my blog and had concluded that it contained nothing other than 100% gospel truth.

Tiziano Lugli being my host in LA, and being the least PTS person I think I know on planet earth, bolted into action.  The kid only had a hand held text message sender and receiver, no phone.  We coordinated his route out, lost all our tails, and picked him up at a pre-designated spot.

We took him to a far away Deli and delighted at watching him eat a cheeseburger and fries with his eyes lit up like he was ingesting an eight course gourmet feast prepared by Sinar Parmen himself.

Daniel brought a couple hard drives with him that contained music and may have been mixed with some other Bridge traffic.  We advised Daniel to return them to Bridge which he did via messenger service. Then we got Daniel on a flight to Florida to see Tom DV.

Tom and Daniel were beseiged by waves of Daniel’s family members and OSA Flag staff using every ploy and threat possible to get Daniel to return.  Tom fought them off like a she-gator protecting her young.  After surviving days of the onslaught, Daniel became intent on speaking with his mother.  He phoned the church to arrange this, but reception put him through to Kendrick Moxon – an alleged attorney.  Moxon proceeded to lie to Daniel that the hard drives were never returned, and made a convincing case (not difficult to do with a 19 year old who doesn’t even know the three branches of government) that Daniel would be put behind iron bars for a good long time, UNLESS of course, he returned and cooperated with Moxon and routed out properly.

Tom sagely advised Daniel that he would face only one of two fates should he return, a) be sent to jail, or b) spend ten years in the RPF.  After several sleepless nights and incessant badgering and threats from the church Daniel returned to LA to route out.

Daniel was picked up by an investigator in a black car with blacked out windows. Instead of being taken to a hotel, where he could route out as promised, he was taken to the Century City Towers.  He was deposited in an office on the 33rd floor where a pricy church lawyer interrogated him for two hours. Only then, did Moxon come in and start interrogating harder, demanding that Daniel finger Tiziano, Tom, and myself as the master minds of his having taken hard drives from Bridge.  Daniel explained that he could not say that because it is a blatant lie. Quite the contrary, Tom advised him not to take the hard drives and I advised him to return them once I learned that he had ignored Tom’s original advice.

Moxon then said they would need to go the LA County Sheriff’s office to clear everything up. Instead of clearing it up, Moxon pulled out a huge binder with shots and dossier’s on Tom, Tiziano and myself. Moxon plied the Sheriff’s detective with a grand conspiracy theory, characterizing me as the “anti-christ” of the church of Scientology. I guess Kingpin has become passe.

The next thing Daniel knows he’s in a cell where he sat for the next 30 hours.  Had it not been for Tiziano fronting $2,000 through credit Daniel would be there now and for God knows how long.

David Miscavige – who I promise will go to jail before this is all over – ordered  Kendrick Moxon – whose bar card I am now promising to take away – stabbed a nineteen year old slave in the back the second he got a whiff of freedom. I have never heard of such low-life treachery. And Lord knows I’ve seen my share of it under the tutelage of the master of treachery, David Miscavige.

Tiziano, Jamie Sorrentini, Tom, Mike Rinder, Jason Beghe and I have been working in a flurry this afternoon to get Daniel out of the LA County (East LA branch) jail.

As of the minute I post this, Daniel walks free once again, at least temporarily, having been bailed out by Jamie and Tiziano.

We have arranged for a competent attorney to represent Daniel at his arraignment tomorrow.

I have been hesitant to raise money for our cause despite the need – recognizing how former church members have been fleeced to the bone over and over.   However, my rule on that score doesn’t apply to a 19 year old kid facing the penitentiary in thanks for the following sins:

a) Leaving a lifehood of slavery to get a taste of freedom and the world.

b) Refusing – despite every provocation and incentive and threat – to frame three guys who went out of their ways (and dipped into their pockets) to help the kid achieve that freedom.

Accordingly, I am creating the Free Daniel Montalvo Fund.   We are trying to initially raise the 3,000 dollars (bail and airfares) we’ve already personally fronted) and another 5,000 for a retainer for a criminal lawyer skilled and tough enough to take on the church and the LA County Sheriff Leroy D. Baca.  Yes, the Sheriff himself.  Do you seriously think the church could get any other agency in the world to do the kind of illegal, underhanded work they’ve gotten the Sheriff’s Office to do?   They wouldn’t have a prayer without owning the Sheriff himself.  As to whether that is the case, I invite you all to peruse church promo over the past ten years.  Baca has extolled their virtues over and over – in exchange for getting to hob nob with Cruise, Travolta, Alley, etc – even while dozens upon dozens of staff have been continually held in virtual bondage by the very institution – in his jurisdiction –  he lavishes with praise.

For now, if you are interested in contributing, you can go to my paypal account – under the donate section on the front page of the blog,  https://markrathbun.wordpress.com/donate/  .  When you are prompted to write a message with any donation, just put in Free Daniel Montalvo Fund.  I’ll keep exact accounting of such designated funds.

Without you all, this young man would have already been crushed like a bug and forgotten.  With you, he will never be forgotten.  I think this is one of those places where we are compelled by conscience to etch a very distinct and durable line.

Free Daniel Montalvo!

Friday Noon Update:
You all officially constitute a hurricane!  Cat 3 and gaining mo’.  Last night I noted we were initially looking for 3,000 to recover bail and airplane flights already spend out of pocket and on credit, plus 5,000 for a retainer for the kind of criminal lawyer we need on this.  That is a target of 8,000.  As of noon we are just over 6,000.  That is approximately 65 donors, making average right around 100 dollars.  Lowest donation was $2 and two came in at highest at $500 each.  If this ain’t grassroots I don’t know what is.  I’m gonna be busy for the next couple hours. Then I’ll hopefully have a minute to give another update. After that, I’ll be out of the loop, except by phone for several hours.  No, you won’t find me honky-tonkin’.  Mike has graciously offered to keep moderating. Then late tonight I’ll give another update on the fund.  You guys have gone above and beyond the call of duty. Certainly beyond my wildest dreams last night when I posted.  I can hear the dictator snickering now about how thrilled I am about “chump’s change.”  Well, this kind of  “chump’s change” will win every time against blood money, no matter the amount.

Update: Friday 1:15 pm: A nice translation of this blog post by Tony Ortega at the Village Voice can be found here, http://blogs.villagevoice.com/runninscared/archives/2010/10/daniel_montalvo.php

3:15 pm Friday update: $7,652 via paypal. With pledges coming by mail, we have topped the 8,000 goal. No need to keep donating. Unless the fix is deeper than I think this case should go away with originally estimated retainer. If Baca and Miscavige and/or Miscavige’s lawyers and the D/As office are joined at the hip, then we’ll be in for a longer haul. We’ll keep you posted. Stay tuned this weekend for an Open Letter to LA County Sheriff Lee Baca. We’re learning the Sheriff’s Office has gone way outside the boundaries of their mandate in serving Moxon and Miscavige’s LA lawyers. IMHO I believe they have betrayed the taxpayers of Los Angeles county. Hitting the road. Be back on line in 5-6 hours. OSA investigators, chill. As Mosey says, I drive old Lucille like Jed Clampet. No need to put Texas drivers at risk with your magnum PI bullshit fantasies. See ya in H-Town.

Reverse Scientology: Hypnotism

A lot of people have noted that Miscavige’s events and speeches are taking on more of an hypnotic sounding tone, and yet his sheep don’t seem to notice. There are also many comments here wondering aloud how on earth kool aid drinkers can keep compulsively drinking kool aid in the face of the abuses escalating within the church.   I believe the following may shed a bit of  light on those concerns.

David Miscavige developed a technique that he called “rolling thunder” for his event presentations.  Mike Rinder and others who worked on events over time can describe this far more competently than me since I was not so intimately involved in the event evolutions as they were.  But I know this much, Rolling thunder consisted of a series of “facts” and “stats” of the church – all exaggerated, and some made up out of whole cloth – being forcefully communicated to the audience and accented with overwhelming and building music, lights and graphics being flashed in the recipients’ faces – until the climax of an “applause line” is reached.   “Rolling thunder” is considered achieved if, and only if, the entire crowd is swept to their feet in adoring, accepting, and rapturous AGREEMENT with the “applause line” of the speaker.  Miscavige was obsessed with ensuring his speeches in particular had several “rolling thunder” moments. Over the years, he weeded out the involvement of other speakers in the events until over the past few years there has only been one, David Miscavige.  When you add to the equation that virtually all church of Scientology staff have been forced, coerced and conditioned into immediately and savagely punishing the slightest indication of “doubt” about the infallibility of David Miscavige that manifests itself with any church staff or public, you’ve got a perfect recipe for disaster.  That is, mind controlling hypnotism on a mass scale.

While reading a section of the Phoenix lecture – Axioms, Part III, on the subject of how Scientology can be reversed to effectuate hypnotism – all of the above came back to me.   I believe the following passage sheds light on what Scientology public have been subjected to, increasingly, for the past twenty years in very regular, predictable intervals.

The whole of existence, actually, is run very much like an hypnotic trance.  How do you hyptnotize somebody?  Well, you get them to agree with you.  And then you get them to agree with you a little bit more. Oh, most people think that it’s done by watches or something or other. It’s not done that way. It’s done in a very interesting way.

I don’t know much aboutWestern hypnotism. I myself studied hypnotism in the East and when I came over to America again, I wondered what on earth this strange practice was that these people were practicing and calling hypnotism.  Because it wasn’t even vaguely what is taught in the East to induce trances.  It’s quite remarkable that hypnotism is inducible on small or large groups.

Now, the worse off a group is, which is to say, the less communication they have, actually, the more communication can be forced upon them. And you can get a form of hypnotism there.  But the interesting thing is that they must have been prepared by an enormous number of agreements before they got into that state. In other words, somebody else prepared them, so they didn’t care who they agreed  with after a while.

Anybody in a uniform walks up to a soldier, if that uniform has a higher rank on, the soldier will obey them. Well, this is a form of hypnotism.

Now, you can take an audience and simply get them to agree with you. And you get them to agree more and more and more and more and more and the next thing you know  — and, by the way, when I say ‘agree with you’, I mean you could get them to agree first that you were simply standing there.

And then, the next thing that you could get them to agree to is the fact that they were listening to you. And then you would give them a few little things on which they would agree with.  And the next thing you know, you could tell them that the world was on fire and the audience would rush out to find out.  Or maybe they just sit there and burn. It’s quite interesting. But you could move it out that way.

Now, what is this all about?  Does that mean that anybody bringing about an agreement would bring about hypnotism?  Oh no. The reason why in Scientology we do not bring about a hypnotism, even by Opening Procedure by Duplication – every Case V, that’s had this run on him claims, it’s a way to induce a trance – but every single one of the tenets of Scientology could be reversed and with a bad intention, and so forth, could be worked out in the opposite direction.

We are undoing the agreements which people have been making for 76 trillion years. Only we’re undoing them, so this makes them freer and freer and freer.

Now, show you this fellow on the stage who simply gets the audience to agree and agree and agree and agree and then tells them the place is on fire. Oh?  He isn’t really going in the direction of making them freer, is he?  His intention for this is entirely different.

It isn’t that intention is above agreement. It’s that consideration is always above agreement.  And he is trying to work them into a situation where they will accept what he says without question. We’re not interested in Scientology, in anybody accepting what we say without question. We ask them to question it. We ask them to please look at the physical universe around you, please look at people, at your own mind and understand, thereby, that what we are talking about happens to be actual.  This is the series of agreements. These are. They aren’t just fancy ideas.

Let us also consider the following facts.  First, over the past thirty years the church’s Bridge has altered to consist on average of more than fifty percent security checks. And those security checks are done within an imposed mores that considers the highest crime one can commit is to question the infallibility of David Miscavige.  Second, over those same thirty years church staff have been pressured and coerced into immediately, and ruthelessly, punishing anyone who might manifest the slightest doubt about the veracity of the utterances of Miscavige.  Third, RTC has been programmed to immediately target and destroy the life of anyone who dares report on false reports delivered in events by Miscavige. Those are people who actually observed arrogantly announced Miscavige “facts”  to not in fact exist in the physical universe. Fourth, church policy has evolved that has any member seriously punished for exposing himself or herself to any source of information (by personal contact, by way of media, or the internet) that does not agree with Miscavige’s official state of Scientology utterances.

Is there really any question why once intelligent and caring people are now acting like so many cattle dutifully lining up for slaughter?

Let Me Be Crystal Clear

For the potential edification of those reading with open, intelligent and curious minds and for the less-than-likely clarification for those reading and reacting with closed, arrogant and narrow minds, I offer some context to Saturday’s post, “The World Is Leaving Scientology Behind.”

That post was researched, conceived and written within one hour of my having just attested my then-pre-Clear to the state of Clear.  And I mean Crystal Clear.  A person with whom I never once discussed exchange for my services, except reluctantly when the person orginated on the subject from time to time; and those discussions never, ever put the slightest pressure nor invalidation upon the pre-Clear. A person, whose inevitable increasing sense of the rightness of things (through the conquering of the reactive mind) naturally wound up exchanging in such abundance it is indescribable.  A person who had never heard the word “Scientology” until it passed from my lips. A person who received no conditioning or programming as to organizational mores (whether  memorialized in green ink or orally created over time by a little dictator).  A person to whom it was never suggested she find a way to change her livelihood in order to find a way to contribute more energy to any “cause.”  A person to whom it was never even suggested  not to look at criticisms of the subject, the Source of the subject, or the auditor.  A person who was never encouraged to op term, investigate, “handle”, or alter communication in way, shape, fashion or form with those skeptical of her auditor or the subject she was participating in.   A person who was allowed to have her wins, test them during the week in a working environment utterly devoid of any Scientology or Scientologist influence, thereby perhaps attaining a level of personal certainty of ability that I have yet to witness in thirty years of involvement with the subject.  A person who received not one encouragement, nudge, threat or invalidation to “get to the next level” or get to Clear.  A person who on her own determinism and out of her own curiosity decided to read every LRH book and listen to every LRH public lecture on her own time during the course of her auditing.  A person who received standard tech – without a single organizational/Miscavige arbitrary entered in along the way.  A person who received thorough auditing at every grade along the way (one to two intensives per grade and five intensives of NED).  A person who now exemplifies LRH’s model in What We Expect of a Scientologist more than perhaps any other I’ve ever encountered in my three decades of involvement.

A person who is the gold standard in my view in terms of EMPATHY for her fellow human beings.

A person whom I believe would have been tragically turned into a rather unempathetic and narrow-minded person had she gone the route of the flat-earth church of Scientology machine.

Now that it quite in addition to over the past year standardly (including using LRH C/Ses that Miscavige has banned and cancelled from use to deal with the very matter) handling five people with church-arbitrary induced confusions about their Clear statuses, introducing and beginning several pre-OTs on NOTs, completing the entire NOTs program on another pre-OT,  getting several people onto and through solo OT levels, debugging several church-stalled cases, using specific rundowns to advance a number of people in life, and helping several people – antagonistic to Scientology generally – review their own history in context and recognize that which they did get from Scientology so that they could continue to walk their chosen paths no longer stuck in losses and victimhood and intent to attacking the subject and its Founder.   And all that was done while fighting off a multi-tens of millions of dollars operation to prevent all of the above from happening and destroy me personally.  I’m not asking for kudos here. That is not the point.  Instead, I am asking those who are so damn high and mighty they suggest I am suggesting Scientology lacks worth, what have you done in the last year in and with Scientology?

My hat is off to the dozens, if not hundreds, who understand that the the high-octane obsession Miscavige has with myself and the several others who have exposed his sordid operations over the past couple years, creates the perfect opportunity to get busy and build up the practice of Scientology across the world by independent and EMPATHIC folk (the only type of folk who can make it work to its full potential).  To such a degree that when the little dictator finally takes his eye off his appointed game for a moment, he will see the monopoly is no more and that the aims of Scientology might actually someday be achieved despite his best efforts.  Truly, thank you people.  You are doing the really important work individually and collectively.  And I do know that you are the folk that see eye to eye with me on the importance of absorbing wisdom outside of Scientology in order to  enhance your own appreciation of Scientology and to make the sharing of what you know of Scientology possible and valuable to others.

For those purporting to be hard core, loyal, and unwavering Scientologists who find attempts to share the wisdom of Scientology with the world and to understand and support efforts aligned with the overall aims of the subject so offensive, I recommend you contemplate the following provisions from the Code of a Scientologist, written by L. Ron Hubbard:

1. To keep Scientologists, the public and the press accurately informed concerning Scientology, the world of mental health and society.

2. To use the best I know of Scientology to the best of my ability to help my family, friends, groups and the world.

8. To support true humanitarian endeavors in the fields of human rights.

11. To actively decry the suppression of knowledge, wisdom, philosophy or data which would help mankind.

13. To help orgs and groups ally themselves with public groups.

14. To teach Scientology at a level it can be understood and used by the recipients.

15. To stress the freedom to use Scientology as a philosophy in all its applications and variations in the humanities.

16. To insist upon standard and unvaried Scientology as an applied activity in ethics, processing and administration in Scientology organizations.

17. To take my share of responsibility for the impact of Scientology upon the world.

19. To set an example of the effectiveness and wisdom of Scientology.

20. To make this world a saner, better place.

The world is leaving Scientology behind

Interesting how the more inclusive and empathic we become the more it seems to shake up and stir misemotion and divisivenes in some.  Aside from the trolls and OSA agents on our fringes, there are some who purport to be “independent Scientologists” who express a very narrow minded and intolerant view of those who do not march lock-step with the Scientology world view.

L Ron Hubbard was truly ahead of his time in many respects.  Unfortunately, for whatever reasons that could be debated for many lifetimes, his ideas were monopolized in a zealotous religious context that has resulted in Scientology being left in the dust by great minds.

The following video presentation is a great example.  The fantastic “recent” discovery outlined in its opening few minutes I just listened to LRH detail fifty-eight years ago in the Philadelphia Doctorate Course.  Of course, he did so using his own terms and nomenclature.  So, what is a Scientologist (of the church variety) programmed to do?   Sneer in contempt because the the author of the video speaks in terms of “hard wiring” and relates it to mental health concepts of brain development instead of the timeless, immortal mind as descibed by LRH.  Sit back, arms tightly folded in arrogance, asserting an air of haughty rightness, gnashing his teeth contemplating the hopeless wrongness of the author.  In protest and to solidify that rightness and other-wrongness, he maybe takes a second morgtage on his home to donate another twenty-five grand to IAS, thinking it will be used to bust a couple psychs somewhere.  And in the interim, those many intelligent and caring minds (of whatever sciences and disciplines) move ahead trying to solve the very same problems Hubbard tried to solve thinking, with a great deal of justification, Scientologists are insular cultists with nothing to contribute.

I say “wake up”, read, investigate, discover, communicate.

Integrate or disintegrate.

David Miscavige and David Lubow – My own Frankenstein monsters

One of the reasons I call Dave Lubow Lil’ Dave or Mini-Dave is that historically he is brought in in times of desperation for David Miscavige when Black Ops are called for in his mind.   For many years we made a conscious effort to keep a tight reign on investigations so that no felonies were committed or overly aggressive actions were taken that might indicate we had adopted or condoned the Black Ops days of the GO. That was for survival reasons, since the public and courts had been given a heavy dose of Guardian’s Office Black Ops through the release of tens of thousands of documents by the DC Federal District Court in the late seventies.

But, when Miscavige’s own goose was being cooked, and his demands for retalitation and silencing became overpowering, and post removals became imminent, we brought in Dave Lubow.  Lubow is a creep to be sure.  But, he is a perfect 1.1 which is  qualification number one for a spy or Black Ops operative.  In many ways he is the perfect duplicate of Miscavige himself. That is, clueless when it comes to fundamental human virtues like love and forgiveness and empathy.  But utterly ruthless and devilishly clever when it came to manipulation, black propaganda, and destroying lives by any means necessary.

His first major assignment was to infiltrate the Las Vegas crowd in the early nineties. Miscavige was obsessed with Terri Gamboa, former Commodore’s Messenger and ED Author Services Inc.  Lubow lead a double – or triple or quadruple – life in Las Vegas, California and Australia during that op that lasted for several years.  Lubow lived with and befriended the Gamboas, the Gradys, Mark Fisher and others while doing all he could to pursuade them not to attack Miscavige.

When Bob Minton of Lisa McPherson Trust fame had his attorneys on the verge of putting Miscavige square into the middle of the McPherson case (where he firmly belonged) Mike Rinder and I were personally assigned by Miscavige to  run Lubow on a no-expenses-spared international operation to  cave Minton by threatening his money.   Lubow created a number of identities, trotted around the globe creating a web of third party about Minton to the point where we actually had a large portion of Minton’s money frozen in a Swiss bank account.  Unfortunately for Minton, and regardless of his later humanitarian motives, his fortune was in fact amassed by less than ethical means.

By that time – early 2000s, Lubow had made so much money committing overts on behalf of Miscavige that it became relatively easy to convinced him to begin taking Scientology courses and auditing – with the not so subtle hint that because of the nature of his work he could not be trusted unless he was firmly on board.  Considering himself a “Scientologist” (Miscavige style) created the perfect terrorist.  A man with absolutely no scruples when came to taking out Miscavige’s enemies by any means necessary.  A black ops specialist on a radical religious mission.

Since I do not have large Swiss bank accounts nor the backing of well-heeled enemies of Scientology to draw upon, Lubow’s tactics with respect to me are different.

Miscavige had Lubow steer clear of me for a year and one half, correctly reasoning that I was not susceptible to either of  the only two missiles in Miscavige’s arsenal – pressure to the point of caving, followed by pay off.  Instead he had Lubow concentrate for months on those close to me – Mike Rinder, each and every one of my pc’s and pre-OTs.  Bless each and every one of their hearts, not a one caved and turned.  And so, quite naturally Miscavige and Lubow (the spineless cowards that they are) are now targetting Monique Rathbun.

It is the worst of the tormented world between the ears of David Miscavige.  Miscavige’s psychotic obsession with breaking up 2D relationships combined with his favorite Black Ops specialist.

So far, aside from rekindling and strengthening a number of old, local friendships of mine  that had sort of gone dormant during my 20 months of whistleblowing, Dave Lubow and the Black Ops Squad, on behalf of Dave Miscavige, did the following recently:

a) Surveilled Mosey’s ex-husband’s (a man whom I have never met)  home and photographed his current wife coming and going, third partied his ex-wife to the point where he felt compelled to defend her.

b) Told Mosey’s current associates that her ex-husband had her surveilled during their divorce several years ago  (before Mosey ever knew me).  A manufactured LIE, creating bonds between Mosey’s past and present associates.

c) Told Mosey’s associates about my mother’s suicide nearly fifty years ago, along with the rest of the Freedom Mag and anti-Marty sites material, and warned there is every reason to worry about Mosey’s well-being with me.

d) Expressed the intention (threatened) to contact Mosey’s immediate family with the same litany.

AND

e)  Said that there is reason to question the validity of the marriage of Mosey and I.  Specifically claiming that Michael J Rinder is not a “legitimate minister”.

Now, you’ve probably heard many stories about Miscavige’s obsession with breaking up 2D couples.  I am not the first he did it to while in the church and then continued to pursue it after I left.  I am privy to documentation that he spent months and huge sums of church parishioner donations trying to break up Marc and Claire Headley after they left the church (something he attempted to do to them for years while they were inside the church).

Miscavige has Mini-Dave challenging the validity of our legally performed and certified marriage.  Pursuant to the Cold War era intelligence tech he operates on,  Miscavige simply spreads the lie, full well knowing  it is a lie.

Now, I’ve been waiting for the appropriate moment to share this.  Mosey and I never intended to have a big, public wedding (here it is in the event you missed it, https://markrathbun.wordpress.com/2010/07/13/back-in-the-saddle/) .  There was really one reason for being so overt about it. And Miscavige’s latest psychotic behavior serves as the perfect prompter to say why that occurred. That is line 23b of the marriage certificate, which asks for the name and title of the person performing the ceremony.  The answer in bold print is, MICHAEL J. RINDER, MINISTER OF INDEPENDENT CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY. That certificate has long-since been signed, sealed and delivered by the Clerk of the Pinellas County Florida Court to us in Texas. It is the first of a number of precedents being put in place to establish the absurdity and futility of Miscavige attempting to use COMMERCIAL law to dictate who may or may not refer to themselves as Scientologists.

Our marriage is a legal, certified FACT.  But, love is a far stronger bond than any authority can acknowledge or bestow. No matter how many PI’s little Hitler hires to spread no matter how much black propaganda to no matter how many people he will not change those FACTS.  All he accomplishes by doing so is to alienate people (and boy are they creeped out by Miscavige’s crew).

That Miscavige is reduced to such childish tactics, demonstrates three things in my estimation:

a) He remains fixated on personal destruction of peoples’ second dynamics.

b) He is one of those low-life terrorists you see in the movies; you know, the ones that grab the protagonist’s wife and puts a knife to her throat when his back is to the wall.

c) He does not have the balls to challenge the legal FACT that his agents claim is not a fact.  What he doesn’t understand is that when he has Mini-Dave do that to an audience that has not been made captive (kool aid drinkers) he not only strengthens the bond he seeks to break, he makes enemies by the dozens.

Do not get me wrong, I am not complaining. One reaps what one sews. I helped to create these monsters.

I think all I can do now is to do what I can to bring about as-isness to that creation.

So, I’ll continue with attempting to impart truths as it is truth that brings about as-isness.

Counterfeit Dreams by Jefferson Hawkins

Jeff Hawkin’s Counterfeit Dreams is now completed in hardback and available at http://counterfeitdreams.com/.

Anyone who has been effected or affected by the disclosures on this blog, Scientology-cult.com, the St Petersburg Times’ Truth Rundown Series, Anderson Cooper’s History of Violence series, or ABC Nightlines two-part October ’09 piece on Scientology, should order and read Counterfeit Dreams.

Jeff’s book adds context, credibility, and light to all of the above references. While I had a bird’s eye view of much of the insanity he recounts, reading Counterfeit gave me a far better understanding of it. Jeff contributes a remarkably detailed account of many events I had some part in but did not know the full effects of. Having familiarity with many of the larger events of which Jeff shares his perspective, his book rings resoundingly true to me.

I want to share a couple of notes I made during the read that you may want to know. First, Jeff does not hold a kind view of Scientology and L. Ron Hubbard. But, this book is his perspective, and for the most part he keeps to the facts; actually does an admirable job of it, given Counterfeit is a personal narrative covering forty years of the man’s life. By the same token, Jeff’s credibility is highlighted by his willingness to give positive and negative. In the case of LRH, Jeff notes it was LRH that sensed what Jeff was doing with Marketing was correct and provided him the air cover to get it done, despite a lot of attempts by the bureaucracy to throw Jeff off. I note all this because I believe it would be a shame for people who are “pro-Scientology” or “pro-LRH” to not read this book because Jeff’s views don’t align with their own. There is too much important information to be learned from it.

Similarly, I think some people may be painted in a more negative light than they should be, purely incidentally because of Jeff’s reporting from his own point of view. For example Ronnie Miscavige and Bill Dendiu appear to come out of the blue to systematically unmock the incredible marketing machine Jeff had created in the eighties. From Jeff’s perspective that is absolute truth. From my own, having occupied a different point to view during that time, I know Ronnie and Bill were simply doing what they were instructed to do under duress by David Miscavige. Jeff recounts a major blow being delivered to Marketing by moving it up the Int Base in the early nineties. I happen to know that Ronnie and Bill executed that crime against their own better judgments – both were interrogated, disciplined and denigrated for years for holding “counter intention” to that move. I know, I was ordered by David Miscavige to deal with that “counter intention” personally.

But, that all comes from perspectives and facts Jeff was in a position to witness. Again, I think Jeff demonstrates a conscientiousness toward truth throughout.

If I seem to be focusing on marketing, there is a reason. What Jeff accomplished by getting Dianetics onto bestseller lists in the eighties is in my opinion the central reason there was any expansion of Scientology for the four short years after Hubbard’s death. As has been well reported in the past year, after the down turn of 1990, International Scientology statistics have been down ever since. One of the last things Hubbard issued on the subject of marketing was the Policy Letter Planetary Dissemination (which emphasizes the live or die principle that the bulk of marketing efforts go to the general public and the bottom of the Bridge, and re-emphasizes that is done most effectively by getting books into the hands of people). Jeff was the last person to do so. And he was unmocked in the late eighties; almost exactly date coincident with LRH passing away. He doesn’t clearly state it in the book, because clearly he did not know it, but that unmock and cross order came directly and emphatically from Miscavige. In 1987 he hijacked marketing, directed it off of broad distribution of books, and turned it increasingly onto Public Relations. And then, as Miscavige descended further and further toward madness, the emphasis became marketing as Public Relations to his own captive public about himself (an integral part of his creation of a cult). Finally, Miscavige destroyed Marketing altogether – the details of which Jeff very competently covers in his book.

If anyone doubts the church of Scientology is dead, perhaps even believes it innately but doesn’t have the facts to really know it, Counterfeit provides the information – again, so important, in context – for you to make up your mind. I believe that is a critical bridge to cross in order to move on and evolve.

Whether you agree or disagree with Jeff’s ultimate views about the worth of Scientology and its founder, there is too much vital factual information about the disintigration of the church in his book not to read it.  Finally, I do not think anyone can credibly argue that on the whole Jeff’s work is not all about helping people evolve to a better place.

Man’s Search For Meaning – Recommended Reading

Viktor Fankl survived several Nazi concentration camps, including Auschwitz.

Only one out of twenty-eight so imprisoned survived the ordeal.  Frankl closely observed for the common denominator of those few who did survive. He did not find a single physical, physiological, cultural, or religious factor in common.

Instead, he discovered that those with a strong enough purpose (he calls it a meaning) to carry out were the ones who made it.  There was no common purpose shared among them all.  There was not even a  predominant commonality of purpose.  Some simply  had a purpose to see a loved one again.  Some felt work they had begun prior to incarceration was so important they found a way to endure what for others was certain death.  Frankl himself fell into the latter category, and it so happened that the work he wanted to complete paralleled the observations he wrote about.

I recommend the book for former SO members who survived long-term oppressive conditions; or those wanting to understand what they were subjected to.

Anyone who survived the Hole and other similar Miscavige tortures will appreciate this short passage demonstrating the sadistic Nazi concentration camp guard menality, and its effects:

Beatings occurred on the slightest provocation, sometimes for no reason at all…

…The most painful part of beatings is the insult which they imply…

…Then he began: “You pig, I have been watching you the whole time! I’ll teach you to work, yet! Wait till you dig dirt with your teeth — you’ll die like an animal!  In two days I’ll finish you off!  You’ve never done a stroke of work in your life. What were you, swine? A businessman?”  I was past caring. But I had to take his threat of killing me seriously, so I straightened up and looked him directly in the eye. “I was a doctor — a specialist.”

“What?  A doctor?  I bet you got a lot of money out of people.”

“As it happens, I did most of my work for no money at all, in clinics for the poor.”  But, now I had said too much.  He threw himself on me and knocked me down, shouting like a madman. I can no longer remember  what he shouted.

Frankl even aptly answers the oft-repeated questions we hear about former senior executives, such as “why don’t they arise and revolt?”

The prisoner who had lost faith in the future — his future — was doomed. With his loss of belief in the future, he also lost his spiritual hold; he let himself decline and became subject to mental and physical decay.

I recommend the book to anyone feeling he or she lacks a driving, meaningful purpose in life.

Frankl recommends that everyone find their own meaning.  It is a life giving process that rises folk above the dwindling sprial of do-nothing boredom, monotony, and the deathly lower harmonic of apathy.   Frankl stresses that the meaning-finding process can be assisted, but not directed.  Every individual must find for himself or herself that activity which fullfills his or her destiny.

There is nothing in the world, I venture to say, tht would so effectively help one to survive even the worst conditions as the knowledge there is a meaning in one’s life.  There is much wisdom in the words of Nietzsche: ‘He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how.

I could not help noting the parallels between Frankl’s observations and some fundamental prinicples L Ron Hubbard wrote of.   So much so that I would suggest any highly trained auditor could easily come to the conclusion Hubbard had to have read and incorporated Frankl, particularly when one considers Frankl’s book was  first published in 1946.

Scott Campbell and the Ring of Fire

I mentioned recently that I don’t believe any of us will truly make it until we travel through the valley of the shadow of death alone.  Scott is one of those special individuals who has done so and has greatly enhanced my life by sharing his experience with me.  Please read his words carefully and contemplate them.  In my opinion they are worthy of our thoughts.

Scott during his early days in the Sea Org

“Death, insanity, aberration, or merely a slavish obedience can be efficiently effected by the use of Black Dianetics.” — LRH

To me, stories like Jorge Arroyo’s and Valeska’s bespeak the “slavish obedience” that can be brought about by the use of Black Dianetics. It should serve to warn us against the dangers of indoctrination and mass hypnosis inherent in any secretive group.

Only fully indoctrinated “true believers” can be subject to this type of treatment for long without objecting. Oh, we may rationalize it away with protestations about “wanting to help” and such, but in the end, let’s face it, we became the hypnotized members of a cult.

I too was witness and subject to the same type of treatment as Jorge and Valeska in the Sea Org. Although now it seems that it has been cranked up to a ridiculous level of intensity to ensure “obedience”.

It was when I started to question and protest the goings on at the ship that I was torpedoed with a healthy dose of Black Dianetics.

I wasn’t very obedient, so someone determined that I was to be driven insane.

Keep in mind that Black Dianetics only works on people who are fully indoctrinated into a belief system. That was me. I was fully committed to solving any problem in Scientology in order to ensure it’s expansion, that was my goal.

The goal of Black Dianetics in bringing about insanity is to turn the person’s stable datums upside down, thus shocking him into a “highly suggestible” state.

The operator then continues to give the subject data about highly upsetting, unsolvable problems that are occurring in PT. As the subject attempts to communicate with the operator about solving the apparent PTP’s, the operator is all the while insisting that there is no solution.

During this “Solve the GPM” phase of the operation, the operator is sprinkling the comm with phrases like, “You don’t understand, (the problem) it goes back too far”.

Upon further questioning by the subject, the problem goes “back, back, way back” and “deeper, deeper, much deeper” etc. This serves to drive the highly suggestible subject deeper into and further back on the track and deeper into a hypnotic state.

And he is just left there…

It works just like LRH says it does.

Later, (possible paraphrase) “A familiar sound, a dog barks, a horn honks, and off he goes…”

I know from first hand experience. It was done to me.

But you know what? After I was fully “into” this induced psychotic break, I was secretly glad.

I knew it was my way out. And it was. Grim details of the road out to come.

I, like many of you, came to Scientology looking for solutions to my problems.

Soon, I trusted that those problems would be handled in due course, and joining a group that was helping people like this seemed like a good idea. So I joined the S.O.

To me, the fact that my experience in the Sea Org has been so similar to others’ experiences illustrates the reason why Scientology cannot be trusted in the hands of the few, or the one.

The independent movement is the right handling. The institutional church is becoming increasingly marginalized. We are just witnessing the attendant phenomena of its death throes.

In reference to an earlier post, the fact that Scientologists are being bonded and “briefed” on data taken from other Scientologists PC folders, Life History and Ethics files necessitates that we prepare ourselves for this tactic. It is also clear that we are being labeled as members of “anonymous” in order to create a negative association or force us to “out” ourselves.

OK, I’ll bite. I am not anonymous.

My name is Scott Campbell. I have been a Scientologist since 1984. I was in the Sea Org from 1985 to 1994, first on the Ship Project before purchasing the ship, then as a crew member on board the ship after that.

My wife Karry and I were in the Sea Org on the Freewinds together from the beginning. We have been married for 24 years and have 2 wonderful daughters.

Scott recently with Charlie Tuna

We have been living a lie by promoting and defending the righteousness of the church of Scientology and the Sea Org to our friends and family (despite all evidence to the contrary) for 25 years.

By the way, it would seem to me that anyone agreeing to such bonding and briefing would be able to be named as an accessory in a lawsuit to any violation of “Priest/Penitent” privileged information rules.

Note to Scientologists getting briefed: Sure does seem like a lot of SP’s are around these days, doesn’t it? Far more than two and a half percent!

None of us “asked for” or deserves this type of treatment. No one does.

If man truly is “basically good” then he deserves to be helped – not harmed. By using these tactics, David Miscavige and anyone under his orders in the Church of Scientology are harming all of us.

Go ahead, vilify me. Tell everyone how bad I am. Hurt me. Hurt my family. I deserve it. Don’t I?

Sincerely,

Scott Campbell
