Steve Poore: A Re-Introduction to Scientology

Dear friends and fellow Scientologists,

Some of you may have noticed that I haven’t been too active or visible at OTC meetings, OT Ambassador activities   (I have been an OT Ambassador since 1995), Int Events, Ideal Org fund raising meetings, Ideal Org openings, etc. over the past many months.  I haven’t been back to Flag for about a year.

Some of you may have wondered what’s happened.  Well, the truth is, I have been wondering that myself.  I have pondered this and even concluded that my withdraw must be caused by my own overts and withholds.  I’ve originated this to Tech Terminals at Flag, D of P, Flag MAA, to my FSM and even to close friends (that I must have O/Ws causing withdraw).  I have been in session at Flag several times over the past year or two and in metered interviews with MAA.  I have also written up OWs.  Still, I found myself not really reaching or wanting to participate in these church activities including my own Bridge progress. (And yes, I did complete The Basics about 4 years ago and had good wins).

There just seemed to be these nagging considerations of outpoints that would not as-is, go away.  As of this date, my Ethics File at Flag is very empty with the exception of many dozens of Commendations as an OT Ambassador for 17 yrs., Power FSM and Front Lines Disseminator in the WISE Sector for the past 29 years.  I’m not saying here that I am some perfect little angel, but those of you who know me, know that I have been an unwavering, staunch supporter and defender of our church, Scientology and LRH for 35 years.

Why am I communicating to you?

“We of the Church believe … that all men have inalienable rights to think freely, to talk freely, to write freely their own opinions and to counter or utter or write upon the opinion of others…” The Creed of the Church of Scientology, 1954.

Hung-up at Doubt.  “But if he’s PTS, he’s stuck in a problem and is unable to come to a decision.  When a person is faced with suppression…The first manifestation of and the first consequence of a problem is indecision…FALSE DATA.

Did I have “false data” was I under “suppression”?

I’ve realized in recent weeks, that I have effectively been in sort of a state of indecision and silent protest for many months, even several years now.  And that I have had some major and basic considerations that I just couldn’t reconcile.

Precept # 7 TWTH: “Seek To Live With The Truth.  False data can cause one to make stupid mistakes.  It can block one from absorbing true data.”

I also know as a trained Data Series evaluator, that behind Out-points there is a Situation and below that a Why.

“Personal  integrity is knowing what you know – what you know is what you know – and to have the courage to know and to say what you have observed. And that is integrity.” -LRH

There is a tag line message in Church Promo that states: “think for yourself.” I personally think this is good advice.

Okay, so I’m speaking freely and speaking out.  If my observations and comments are just lies, and I’m only attempting to rabble rouse, then how can reading this harm you or anyone?

“There is an ironbound rule in handling things:  WHERE YOU FIND OUTPOINTS, YOU WILL THERE ALSO FIND A SITUATION.”  SITUATION FINDING, Data Series 30

Below are just a few of the outpoints and situations that I have been attempting to understand or to think with.  The outpoints and situations I’m listing here have become increasingly impossible to ignore.  This is of course my data and observations; you will need to think for yourself and decide for yourself based on your own observations and your own data.  “Look, don’t listen.”

New definition of Floating Needle at Flag.  About 2 years ago, I was given an interesting indoctrination by a Word Clearer in the OT VI course room at Flag. The Word Clearer insisted on me agreeing that the definition of “rhythmic” as in “…rhythmic sweep of the dial…” was that the needle had to swing three times before it could be called an FN.

Here is LRH’s definition:  “A floating needle is a rhythmic sweep of the dial at a slow, even pace of the needle.  That’s what an F/N is.  No other definition is correct.”  HCOB 21 July 1978 What Is A Floating Needle? (Tech Vol. II, p. 204) this definition of FN is also in the Tech Dictionary.

I also noticed over the past few years at Flag, in the AO HGCs, that at the after session examiner, the examiner would consistently sit there after I picked up the cans and stare at the meter, wait and wait.  This was very odd (outpoint) as in each case I obviously had FNed at the end of session and here I was having trouble FNing at the examiner.

After this happened a couple of times, I learned to sit there and review in my head or in some cases verbalize my wins and cogs in session, and even in some cases, when that didn’t work, begin thinking about just some win in life to get the meter to FN.  This experience was very odd (outpoint), as in all my 30 + yrs. of auditing, I’ve never experienced having trouble at the examiner.  I just sort of thought, oh well, I guess it’s just me.

Now, looking back on this over the past few months, I have also realized that maybe I wasn’t the only one experiencing this as I’ve noticed consistently long lines at the examiner.  I had the same experience at the Success Examiner, trouble FNing. The last time at Success I was red-tagged, sent to Qual and told by the Qual Sec after she watched the video, that I in fact did FN and then I proceeded to attest.  Recently, I was able to confirm with other Flag Public that they have had the same experience and observations.

LRH:  “One often wonders why people are so ‘reasonable’ about intolerable and illogical situations.  The answer is very simple: they cannot recognize outpoints when they see them and so try to make everything seem logical.  The ability to actually see an outpoint for what it is, in itself is an ability to attain some peace of mind. …The human reaction is to react to an outpoint. And then get ‘reasonable’ and adopt some explanation for it, usually untrue.

You can safely say that ‘being reasonable’ is a symptom of being unable to recognize outpoints for what they are and use them to discover actual situations.”  HCO P/L 30 September 1973 Issue II Data Series 30, Situation Finding (Management Series Vol. 1, p. 128)

“A lot of people are on a stuck flow of being sensible and sane — and that winds up in stupidity.   So they get reasonable.  Their confront of evil isn’t up to it — basically, their confront of outpoints.”  HCO P/L 18 March 1977RA Data Series 43RA, Evaluation and Programs (Management Series Vol. 1, p. 167)

“It is horrifying to behold how easily people buy dub-in.  This is because an illogical sequence is uncomfortable.  To relieve the discomfort they distort their own observation by not-ising the outpoint and concluding something else.”  HCO P/L 18 May 1970 Data Series 7, Familiarity (Management Series Vol. 1, p. 29)

Back to this new definition of FN. Was there a Hidden Data Line?

“The first goof relating to Releases is the one done for fifteen years — running past a free, floating needle on any type of process. THIS is the goof that held back all Scientology.  And if it continues to be done, known as well as it is now that you mustn’t, one can only consider it suppressive — not just ignorant — as who now doesn’t know you wreck a Release by running past the floating needle?”  HCOB 2 August 1965 Release Goofs (Tech Vol. VII, p. 631)

“But how would one, who has not studied policy or is not very far advanced in his tech training know when he was being given an off-policy or out-tech order?

1. If it seems kind of stupid it is probably off-policy or out-tech…

2. Require that one be shown in the exact issue or book what the policy or tech actually is.

“Some students have believed there was a “hidden data line” of tech in Scientology, a line on which Scientology tech was given out by me but not made known to students.

… There is no such line. The whole of technology is released in HCO Bulletins and HCO Policy Letters and tapes I do and release.  I don’t tell people anything in some private way, not even Instructors. ‘…If it isn’t written, it isn’t true…’ Somebody says ‘Ron said to — ‘ and on a veteran staff you hear the rejoinder ‘Let’s see it…’ So we have learned the hard way —  ‘If it isn’t written, it wasn’t said’.   HCO P/L 16 April 1965, Issue I KSW Series 22, The “Hidden Data Line” (OEC Vol. 4, p. 347)

I discovered that “Since this redefinition of F/Ns was first incorporated into the Pro Metering and Solo courses, students have been referred to sources as far-fetched as the Art Series, the Marketing Series, a physics text, and The Encyclopedia of Music, in order to understand it.” www.friendsoflrh.org     Friends of LRH web-site.

The above (re-defining FN) is JUST ONE example of gross corruption of the Tech, Policy and KSW.

CHURCH  MANAGEMENT (RTC):

It has been very perplexing to me why so many high profile senior execs (most on post for decades and are now “blown” or declared), have resorted to talking to the media about alleged injustices and human rights violations occurring at the very highest level of our church.

I couldn’t think with this approach.  I considered this an obvious violation of Church policy …reflecting badly not only on The Church, but worst of all, dragging Scientology and LRH’s name through the mud.

This has been very upsetting to me and I’m sure to you too.  My consideration has always been, if there are disagreements of church policy and programs or injustices, then, the thing to do is handle it on the correct lines and within the group using Scientology Ethics and our Justice System.

As I began to check into this, I discovered that these terminals did in fact attempt with great persistence and personal sacrifice, to handle these outpoints on the correct lines.  And in many cases their efforts extended over many years and even decades.

Church management’s response has been to discredit them by asserting they suddenly “went bad” and so have declared them as SPs.  The church has even gone further by proceeding to call them apostates, heretics and squirrels and have orchestrated Black PR campaigns to affect their destruction.

Apparently, each had concluded that there was no justice available and no change/correction forthcoming under current church management.  But instead of keeping quiet as ordered, they eventually resorted to going public in the media and courts rather than just letting it go, or going away—silenced.

This situation of course has made it increasingly difficult for me as a front lines disseminator in the WISE Sector over the past 29 years to do my job and contribute to our mission of a cleared planet – it makes it hard, really, near impossible for all of us to forward our purpose.  Currently the public’s perception of the Church of Scientology is the worst it’s been in our history! This is from my personal experiences of having done thousands of Handle Steps on Raw Public over these many years, and still do in PT as a front-lines disseminator and Power FSM.

It has become a glaring outpoint of the obvious disappearance over the last several years at international events of our senior church leadership/executives.  For example the many senior and veteran Int Execs and WDC members, and CMO Execs including our President, Heber Jentzsch, Ken Hoden, Norman Starkey, Janet Light, Guillaume Lesevre, Ray Mitoff, Mark Yeager, Greg Wilhere, Karen Hollander, Diana Horwich – Hubbard, and even David Miscavige’s brother and father Ronnie Miscavige Jr. and Ron Miscavige Sr. and so many more. Oh yes, Guillaume Lesevre did speak at an event some months back but not as ED INT, and is now absent from the scene once again.

Ever increasingly, veteran SO staff who have served faithfully for decades seem to disappear for years and then curiously re-appear; out, off staff and in many cases declared and now resorting to telling their horrific stories of physical abuse and injustice to the media.

Interestingly (outpoint), the attacks through the media (even the ones we hear about in Europe) in recent years and months are not coming from the real SPs on this planet, the international bankers and their government agencies, the CIA, Interpol, etc and their lapdog controlled media they use to forward their Black PR.  NO, the attacks are coming from the Media, but with who’s data?  Mostly from ex-church staff, especially SO members and high profile public Scientologists who have had to resort to the media and to the courts for the purpose of seeking justice and correction, but mainly to expose the crimes of top leadership in our church, namely David Miscavige.

Why do all the attacks in the media seem to be coming from within; ex-members and ex-SO staff members?  What/who is creating this horrific out-PR situation and poisoning the church’s image?  Why is the public perception of Scientology at an all-time low, even though we are supposedly doing more public outreach programs than ever before?  Why is the media and the entertainment industry incessantly and increasingly making a mockery of and holding up to public ridicule Scientology celebrities, our Church, Scientology and LRH?

Scientology is now a household word, not because of its good works publicized but is sadly now because of the human rights violations and atrocities being committed and condoned at the very top level of church management.

There comes a time when allegations of Senior Sea Org Management Terminals who were speaking out could no longer be ignored.  SO terminals who I respected and admired over the past 35 years, including Mike Rinder, CO OSA, Debbie Cook, CO FSO, Mark “Marty” Rathburn, Inspector General RTC, Vicki Aznaran, ex Pres. & COB, RTC, Marketing Execs: Steven Hall, Jeff Hawkins, veteran FSO registrar, Hy Levy, LRH Trained Class XII, Karen de La Carriere Jentzsch and many more including former FSO CL XIIs and CL VII Auditors & CS’s have come forth and told their experiences of outrageous suppressive behavior from Int Execs including mostly David Miscavige.

There are many more senior execs at the highest level of our church who have “blown” and have been effectively silenced.  There are many high profile celebrities including Paul Haggis, film producer/director, Lisa Marie Presley, Larry Anderson (orientation film) Michael Fairman, Dianetics TV Spokesperson, Jason Beghe, actor and many more who are “out” – some silent but many others blowing the whistle.

ARE ALL OF THESE PEOPLE REALLY SPs??

A few relevant excerpts from this policy:

a) – “Back of wrong data you will normally find an impure intent.”

b) – “Now any time you find thirty people on staff being removed because they were suppressive, you know they had the wrong Why, because the percentages are wrong. … I can assure you they’ve left the suppressive on the staff and I can also assure you the guy that did it was suppressive.”

c) – “CLOUDING UP A SITUATION – Occasionally you’ll find a scene wherein a person’s or area’s PR is greater to him than production – PR, personal PR, means more than production.  And that is a characteristic of a suppressive.  He’ll fog the situation up with big PR about how good it is so it can’t be handled.” -LRH

You might ask yourself; Who is causing all this Internal Strife, creating all these enemies, all this hate that the media loves to report on?  I know I have asked myself these questions.  If any of this concerns you (and it should) go to my attachment and read 31 Factors for Scientologists to Consider.

“There are people who suppress. They are few. They often rise up to being in charge and then all things decay. They are essentially psychopathic personalities.  Such want position in order to kill. …They arrived when they arrived, in charge of things, because nobody when they were on their way up said ‘No’.  They are monuments to the cowards, the reasonable people who didn’t put period to them while they were still only small bullies and still vulnerable.”  HCO P/L 7 December 1969 Ethics, The Design of (OEC Vol. 1, p. 483)

Every OUTPOINT or SITUATION that you or I can observe can be explained, clarified or be backed up by an LRH Reference or LRH References and this can be successfully done without taking said references out of context to apply to these Outpoints or Situations.

PLANETARY DISEMMINATION ORG:

I have been wondering about the big broad Div 6 Dissemination Campaigns that we have all been hearing about at Int Events by COB for years.  These would flood the Orgs and Missions with brand new public.

Over a year ago, I was briefed (regged) by Planetary Dissemination Senior Fundraiser, Rudy Kempner.  He told me that we were very close to securing a huge $1 Billion PR & Marketing Campaign, that as a complete package it was only going to cost the Church $100 Million.  He just needed me to donate $5K.  This all sounded great to me!  Wow!  This would be a dream come true and I shared my excitement by briefing many of you about this.

Of course this has never happened.  Sure, I’ve seen a few of the PR ads, and PSAs, (mostly at Int Events).  The problem is, even if there was big volumes of these in the media, they don’t align with what LRH says about marketing “Books make Booms…” (DMSMH), and he was not talking about all the Basic Books in raw publics hands, or in libraries.  We hear about the millions of website hits, and all the “public reaches”, but why are the Orgs and Missions not flooded with New Raw Public?  Don’t believe me, go to your local orgs and missions and look, and not just at existing Div 2 public on Basics.  Where are the floods of New Public?  Who’s stopping the Big Broad Raw Public Dissemination Campaigns that we so desperately need to boom all the New Ideal Orgs?

And besides all this, LRH clearly states, “Word of mouth is a superior form of advertising to newspapers, radio and TV ads. People tend to believe their friends.”  HCO/PL PR SERIES 41

Is this (good and positive word of mouth) really possible in this current environment?

I have heard some say: “The public is out-ethics” or “PTS”, “The society has degraded and that’s why we don’t see floods of raw public…” as an explanation for why there are so few new public on lines.

I lay full responsibility for this gross corruption of out-tech and illegal policy development and implementation directly at the door step of RTC but moreover and specifically with COB David Miscavige.

“It is more than policy that one gets the condition he fails to correctly and promptly assign and enforce.

It’s a sort of natural law. If you let your executives goof off and stay in, let us say, a Danger condition, yet you don’t assign and enforce one, they will surely put YOU in a Danger condition whether it gets assigned or not.

Of course, predictably, for speaking out like this, there will now be a full blown concerted effort by the church (OSA) to orchestrate a smear campaign against me and trump up all manner of false charges of “suppression” on my behalf and proceed to Declare, and Expel Me – all in an effort to silence me and disconnect me.

That’s okay. I will not be stopped from doing my Bridge or from supporting and defending LRH and his legacy – and will not be stopped from forwarding my purpose of helping people with Scientology.  And one day, my sincere hope is – that sooner rather than later, we will all get our Church of Scientology back and then we can restore LRH’s legacy, and his aims and goals together.

Dear friends, please ask yourself this question:  Is it really possible to go full OT and reach true spiritual freedom in this environment, when day by day the Tech and Policy that LRH worked so hard for, and devoted his life’s work to, is being chipped away, little by little, altered, perverted and even reversed (see Black Dianetics) in very subtle ways and on a very subtle gradient?  This trend is not reverting but only accelerating over the years.  Let’s end this madness!

After much consideration, deliberation and evaluation over the past few weeks and realizing that I can no longer support Church Management or those who support it, I have decided to withdraw my support for current Church Management and am hereby announcing my resignation and disconnection from The current Church of Scientology led by David Miscavige and all those who support him.

My Goal Finder is LRH.

Today I join the world wide group called, ‘Independent Scientologists’ where honest, on source, LRH technology is being delivered by some of the highest trained, On Source Auditors and CS’s (CLVIIs, CL XIIs)  per KSW.  And where exposing the out tech and criminal activities of the current Church of Scientology Management is the order of the day.

AM I PTS?  NOT ANY LONGER!

Scientology Inc. Deforestation Efforts

David Miscavige’s deforestation efforts have become infamous to those encountering his life-draining organizations. Forrest Crane has provided me with photographs that graphically demonstrate the senseless destruction of our biosphere Scientology Inc persists in carrying out.

The gentleman in the photos in this post, Brad Mothershead, is a Purification Rundown completion and is mid Objectives.   In the year since he made contact with the Anchorage Mission of Scientology, he has received the stacks of promotion he is posing with in the mail from Scientology Inc.   He has been bombarded by unwanted, slick advertisting nearly daily.

Unfortunately, Brad is but one of hundreds of thousands who receive this onslaught day in and day out.

Save a tree, boycott Scientology Inc.

PS: Don’t worry about Brad.  He is scheduled to complete his Objectives and move up the bridge with Forrest, instead of remaining buried in paper with the deforestation specialists.

A most significant advance in the cause of disintegrating DISCONNECTION (Scientology Inc. brand shunning) was announced here late last week. For those who missed it during the flurry of breaking news, you can see it here, Fairmans’ Disarm Scientology Disconnection.

In the wake of that long bomb, Renata and Claudio Lugli advanced the ball further on a Italian national TV program.  (English subtitles included)  They also helped in our ongoing efforts to differentiate corporate Scientology from the subject of Scientology itself and the independent movement.

Fairmans Disarm Scientology Disconnection

Michael, Sky, and Joy Graysen Fairman have delivered a big, effective legal blow to Miscavige and Scientology Inc on the subject of DISCONNECTION.

Shortly after Michael and Joy declared independence from the church, two Scientologist doctors informed them that they and their daughter Sky were no longer welcome as patients at their medical practices.

Michael and Joy diligently attempted to obtain a rational, lawful explanation for the sudden terminations.  None was forthcoming from either Dr. Benest or Dr. Thorburn.

Michael and Joy decided to take a strong stand to vindicate their civil rights and assure others were not similarly abused in the future.  They retained a seasoned litigator, Bruce C Gridley of Kane, Ballmer & Berkman in Los Angeles.

They sued Charlene Thorburn, Doctor of Chiropractic, her Thorburn Chiropractic and Wellness Center and Dr. Lisa Benest and her professional corporation in Los Angeles Superior Court for:

  1. DISCRIMINATION IN VIOLATION OF CIVIL CODE SECS. 51, 51.5 AND 52
  2. BREACH OF IMPLIED CONTRACT
  3. BREACH OF THE COVENANT OF GOOD FAITH AND FAIR DEALING
  4. NEGLIGENCE
  5. NEGLIGENT INFLICTION OF EMOTIONAL DISTRESS
  6. INTENTIONAL INFLICTION OF EMOTIONAL DISTRESS
  7. TORTIOUS INTERFERENCE WITH PROSPECTIVE ADVANTAGE
  8. AND INVASION OF THE RIGHT OF PRIVACY

The suits were not based on any animosity the Fairman’s held against either doctor, who were considered friends, but on the fact that they appeared to be guided by the church’s policy of ‘disconnection’, which the Fairmans’ find abhorrent.

On March 14th 2012 the Los Angeles Superior Court entered judgment in favor of Michael and Joy and their daughter Sky against Thorburn.

More recently Dr. Benest settled the Fairmans’ case against her with a stipulated judgment and dismissal.

The Thorburn case – complaint, pleadings, and final judgment – can be obtained from the LA Superior Court under case number BC474478 (2011).   Those pleadings and final judgment could be used as precedent by your own counsel should you suffer any of the harms alleged in the Fairmans’ case by the application of DISCONNECTION by members of Scientology Inc.

Michael, Joy and Sky did everyone a great service.

I, for one, am eternally grateful to them for standing up for their rights and the rights of all of us.

More on Miscavige Style Planetary Clearing

Having tortured myself Clockwork-Orange-style into watching a few hours of Shermanspeak® at the 2012 Maiden Voyage, I have a few observations.

Miscavige’s “Ideal Org strategy” is (no surprise) a complete bust.

He has banked everything on “Ideal Orgs” and the IAS.  So, in the age tested manner of a really good ser fac, he will go on proving the “rightness” of this insane strategy until he is dead right.

Thus, his manic efforts to make it appear that “Ideal Orgs” are “straight up and vertical” by showing tortured, misleading “stats” (more on that later).

But, through the smoke and mirrors of bursting, thunderclap and trumpet blaring graphics, it is clear that Mr. MEST has dramatically lowered his standards:  he is not only announcing “Grand (re)Openings” of EXISTING “Ideal Orgs” at events, he is personally attending those events to perform ceremonial ribbon cuttings. There he was at the new/old new “Ideal Orgs” in Buffalo, Stevens Creek and Los Gatos.  Presented with enough hype and certainty, Miscavige is convinced the clubbed seals don’t notice (and he may be right).

Of course, he really has no choice. No matter how hokey it is, he MUST appear so video can be shot and shown at the next event to keep “proving” his corporate expansion.

So, there he was at Buffalo “cutting the ribbon” (along with Joburg, San Francisco and Tampa, he hyped this as the FIRST Ideal Org).   But this time there was no Mayor of Buffalo or other elected representative reading speeches written for them by Aron Mason or Dan Sherman.  Miscavige could only scrounge up  “other EUS and Canadian Org EDs” to stand on stage with him.

And so it went – and this was presented as“proof” of the “massive international expansion” with the catchy sounding refrain:  “New Idea Orgs are rising at a rate of more than one a month”….(including the three above as well as Madrid and Hamburg “re-openings”).

It’s not JUST the lie that there are “new orgs” (new buildings) being opened, he has compounded the lie that re-opened, re-renovated, Ideal “Org” buildings are “NEW orgs.”  How Miscavige gets these things out of his mouth with a straight face may only be explained by Botox overdosing.

But there were more “incredible” (ie. unbelievable) “stats” he gushed forth.

“Since the floodgates opened with the Dianetics Route, new people onto service increased by 25 times” Of course, no figures are given. And with NO attention put on the “Dianetics Route” prior to POB inventing his new version, this could be a total of 25 people a week internationally equating to “25X” the one per week previously.

Same with “new people are stepping onto the Bridge at a rate 60 times anything before the new Introductory Routes” – again, no NUMBERS.  Just incredible “60X” expansion that can only be a complete fabrication. BUT he does also assert STCC completions “are 4 times what they were before the new Scientology Routes” so apparently only 1 in 15 COMPLETES Miscavige’s magnificent new course…  Or in other words “Number of people blowing off STCC since the release of the new Introductory Routes has increased 15X and is another HIGHEST EVER!!!!”

“LRH books and lectures in public hands since the dawn of GAK has surpassed 100 million” – this doublespeak actually means nothing of the sort.  It is based on enforced sales from the Pubs Orgs to orgs and Missions, counting 300 for each set of ACCs, 150 for each set of basics lectures etc. But everyone knows that the vast majority of this figure are sitting either in basements of orgs, tossed on remainder tables at libraries, were returned to Pubs orgs with their covers torn off or are locked in storage containers of public who have bought 2,3,5 or more sets after middle of the night visits and phone calls from staff who are not allowed to sleep until they meet their arbitrary quotas. But he makes it sound like this is the number of books in the hands of the new public.

“Every other day, another New OT VIII joins the assemblage of OTs – Highest Ever in history.” Amazing, he gave an actual stat.  But, if you analyze this stat, it is an enormous admission of failure.  Let us assume this lie is true (it MAY have been true one week or perhaps two leading up to MV – just like “Ideal Orgs opening every month”).  Taken at face value it means 183 OT VIIIs per year reaching the “EP” of the Bridge. This SHOULD also be the number of people who complete OT VII. But let’s be conservative and say only HALF of the completions on OT VII go on to OT VIII.  That would be 365 OT VIIs in a year (of course, you know if THIS was true, it would be being shouted from the rooftops “One OT VII EVERY DAY!!!!!”).  Let’s take it a step further.   The FSO has been promoting “10,000 on OT VII will Clear the Planet” for more than a decade. And they haven’t achieved it still.  So, giving them the benefit of the doubt that they have achieved 33% of that goal in 10 YEARS of “massive international expansion greater than any time in history and more than the 50 years prior combined”,  there are 3,300 people “on OT VII”.  And that means it is taking TEN YEARS to complete OT VII.  And if they have achieved 66% of their target and have 6500 people on Solo NOTs it is taking 20 years to complete!  If they have only achieved one sixth of their target in the face of this massive expansion and have 1700 on OT VII its still a 5 year average to complete (and that is 10 “6 month sec checks”).  Not even in the ballpark of correct orders of magnitude.

Perhaps even more disturbing is the insanity of the Shermanspeak® ramblings.  Delivered in monotonous sing-song, the Pope on a Box has become a parody of himself.  His amazing  efforts to make up for lack of substance with “clever” words  sound more like demented meanderings of a drug addled fantasy fiction writer.  Here are a few quotes directly from Chairman Mao that speak louder as to his nutball theetie-weetiness than any description could offer. And these ARE direct quotes, not altered in ANY way.

He got things off to a roaring start with this:

“Welcome to Home Universe and the greatest assembly of OT’s in history, or for that matter since before the beginning or even before the decision to begin.” Really???

“And as we voyage ever closer to a world of which earth can be proud, so appears eternity like a ring of pure and endless light” (with unicorns dancing on moonbeams….)

“We sailed a tide of history to the headwaters of infinity, until it finally came to be, that from the bottom of the Bridge to the very top, this is now our world.”

“And all of which makes this the greatest voyage in whole track history.”

“An OT voyage through a world of great wonder, where her wake ripples out to distant stars.”

Rest assured, if the CO FSSO had ever stood in front of an audience and delivered lines like this drivel, she would have been sent to the bilges as a “theetie-weetie bypassed case.” If a politician stood on stage and talked like this there would be calls for his mental health to be reviewed.  If the Cardinal of Rome spouted this kind of absurdity people would be asking whether he had self-medicated.

But when his presentation got really entertaining was the “specifics” on the activities on the OT Ambassadors to “build their Ideal Orgs.” As usual, he seems to get a real kick out of the juvenile and sometimes degraded “Bowling for Bucks” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” nights, the “hot peppers” in Mexico, Malmo’s “Heavy Metal God of Mayhem, Hank from Hell” and the “now famed” “Sydney Rabbit.”  It’s hard to tell if he seriously thinks this is good shit, or whether he is having a little insider joke at the expense of his OT Ambassadors.

But even more interesting is the absolute REFUSAL of Miscavige to mention the words “fundraising” or “money.”  The grand architect of building fundraising is afraid to let the words money or fundraising pass his lips as he thinks it “demeans” him (while ordering everyone else in his kingdom that this is ALL they can talk about). It is really comical to see how many times he squirms around the subject while briefing about the OT Amabassadors activities when ALL they do is raise money for “Ideal Orgs” – so he talks about “storming the pledge board’, “exuberant energy drive”, “Ideal Org Energizer”, “energy drives”,  “high-speed energy drivers”, “energetic drives” and the euphemistic “a million-plus cries of bravo” and “2.9 million steps closer to an Ideal Org”…  It’s like a football coach refusing to use the word football and instead referring to the “pigskin” and “object we pass” or “our little friend.”  Is this guy nuts or what?

Another classic of Shermanspeak ® is the use of “futurescape” as in “Toronto, a futurescape wherein existing premises will morph into an Ideal Org resplendent…”  (funny , the continental org in Canada has had the same building since LRH directed its purchase in 1978 and it is STILL not “Ideal” and is still struggling  – the absolute PROOF that a BUILDING DOES NOT MAKE AN ORG) – “futurescape” has now entered the Miscavige lexicon in an attempt to give substance to something that doesn’t exist.

The “stats” presented for each Cont are “Hours on OT projects” and “Square feet of Ideal Orgs on the runway”… And as he moved through the Conts, he repeatedly described orgs with “construction docs ready”.  I think he really has a hard time thinking in terms of Valuable Final Products.

And he is not only presenting “re-openings” he is talking AGAIN about the same orgs that have NEVER opened:  Harlem touted as futurescape, so too New Haven and Battle Creek and Kansas City and Kaohsuing and Bulawayo and Auckland and numerous others that have been used as props in so many earlier glitzfests to “prove” the massive international expansion with “fly throughs” of their “futurescapes.”  How long can this con continue?

And finally, one very startling omission. With all this talk of one new Ideal Org each month (and there WERE 3 new buildings shown from this year – OC, Denver and Phoenix, all WUS where the Baybacks/Jensens/Duggans are) – how come, with 34 Ideal Orgs, THERE IS NO ST HILL SIZE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ANY ORG AT THE EVENT?  After all, this WAS an event about Scientology and org “expansion”?  Why don’t all these Ideal Orgs now have Universe Corps moving their staff up to OT?  No Universe Corps in Malmo? Dallas? Nashville? Quebec? Rome? Las Vegas? Brussels? Seattle? Etc etc etc  He has had nearly 10 years of opening “Ideal Orgs” but in that time the number of St Hill size orgs has DECLINED!

That was MV Night One.

The only other “nights” were “ASI LRH Fiction Night” and “IAS Night”.  Of course, Miscavige didn’t do the fiction night.  That’s beneath him as he is a “religious leader.”  So, the “week of events” that used to be 5 full nights of briefing plus a closing night has shrunk down to an Opening, IAS  and a throw away “LRH fiction” night.  But it makes sense as the ONLY concentration of the RCS is fundraising for Ideal Orgs and IAS.  He also still does the “confidential briefing” to the OT Ambassadors that is not video’d and he talks off the cuff in incomplete, incoherent sentences dishing out a stream of hidden data and a bunch of verbal orders.

If I can stomach it, I will do a separate report on “IAS Night.”

But here is the bottom line:  No matter how much visual trickery, how many adjectives or big words or how hypnotic the sing-song delivery – the Emperor has no clothes.

And if, instead of being dazzled by the sequined gown, the flashing lights and the fake applause, viewers were to actually look at the SUBSTANCE of what is being communicated, they would see this is to be what it is:  a magician’s sideshow act,  not “the greatest show on earth,” let alone representative of a movement bringing truth and sanity to the planet.

Wolfgang Keller – Class VIII

Hello Friends!

Here I am! I know and I apologize; I know I should have informed you much earlier about my whereabouts and future plans!

Eight months ago, I realized that I could no longer continue to support the out-tech and off-policy actions of the “Church of Scientology.” I have been working since to create an independent practice where I can deliver standard tech as LRH intended it to be delivered.

This has been an interesting, but likewise challenging time for me. It all started with my finally awakening and confronting of our situation with the Church of Scientology. And I am saying “our” on purpose because it is not, as I had been thinking for over five years, it is not only my own dilemma. My previous self-centeredness may serve as an excuse for not having stood up much earlier. Because of my realization, however, that I was misled in observing an appearance, rather than the reality, I now decided to act in a decisive manner.

My introduction to Scientology

It was Easter 1969 in New York City when I was introduced to Scientology; yes, John McMasters and Mario Feninger were present, and I immediately became an enthusiastic follower.

Since I couldn’t find any organization or mission in Pittsburgh, PA where I then lived, I changed my employer and moved to New York City – but that’s another story that I should write about on my own blog – and I moved up to the state of Clear and beyond to OT III.

When I look back, this era still represents one of my most exciting journeys with previously never experienced adventures and inroads into a terra incognita, the territories of my mind, or in a much broader aspect, the territories of the human mind.

One thing is true for sure: All of us share a common something that has, depending on one’s orientation, different names, such as the original sin, the monkey or, as Hubbard coined it, the reactive mind. It has actually nothing to do with you and me, however, it has become part and parcel of a package that all of us are carrying and that, to our detriment, unites all human beings on our planet in a very arbitrary and peculiar way.

Again, this is something completely outside the scope of my announcement.- Let me come back to what I wanted to talk about: The reason for this post!

Becoming an Auditor

I would like to give a very brief overview of the years following my exciting discoveries. After completing OT IIII, I envisioned a more important role for my life than to be working as an engineer, even though I loved my profession and had invested years of studying to acquire a masters and a doctors degree in engineering. Nevertheless, I was determined to become an auditor and help others to experience similar gains that I had received.

From 1974 to 1977, I went to Denmark where, at the Advanced Organization St. Hill, I completed my first auditor training and internships up to Class VIII. Later I redid my Class VI internship and the new NED course with internship at Flag and audited until 1980 at Flag’s Case Cracker Unit. With further tech developments I studied the Snr Sec Checker and FPRD courses with internships, did the GAT Pro TRs and Metering Courses at Flag and advanced up to OT VII.  In 2009, I enjoyed being a new GAT Class VI Internship graduate at ASHO of Los Angeles.

By now, for almost 25 years, my goals that I pursued with my field auditing group, the ARC Team, were:

• To provide a safe and undisturbed place where people find time for themselves,

• To guide those interested with the techniques developed by L. Ron Hubbard to achieve more spiritual awareness, more independence and more success in life,

• To deliver the lower Bridge from Life Repair up to Clear, and to have my pre-Clears well prepared for their further travel towards OT at an advanced Scientology organization,

• To provide a place where basic courses are available under standard course supervision,

• To be dedicated to deliver Hubbard’s technologies in the most standard way achievable. For this reason, all members of the ARC Team are not only highly trained interned auditors (from Class V graduate up to Class VIII), but also well advanced on the right side of the Bridge (OT III up to OT VIII).

None of this has changed!

What has changed

While our ARC Team has remained a safe place to spiritually advance and to enjoy the many wins possible, I had to confront the ugly truth that there no longer exists an organization within the “Church of Scientology” that I could trust to lead my pre-Clears further towards OT!

I had to confront the ugly truth that the organizations of the “Church of Scientology” had changed. These institutions had come to treat my Pre-Clears, not too different from the screening at the airports, with suspicion. They had to undergo strenuous and costly security checks and had to prove their good intentions by more and more generous donations, not just for their services. Those surprises that acted as major distractions from their envisioned goals, my pre-Clears had not been prepared for.

More and more they became inclined to believe that they had come to help the organizations rather than be serviced by them. When those observations already created great concern, much worse was my discovery of the ongoing alterations of LRH’s tech particularly in regards to auditing which made it harder and harder not only to become trained, but to advance towards OT. The solution to the dilemma

For quite some time I was stuck with a great dilemma! I had been stuck and I was therefore willing to compromise in many respects, as long as I thought that our Bridge was solely available in the “Church of Scientology.”

To my greatest relief, however, I found out that LRH’s precious legacy had been preserved outside the parameters of the official organizations. It had not only survived, but it is in full blossom!

My last hesitations were blown away! There is a Bridge! And it is accessible! And it can be traveled because it is on source! Additionally, it offers a safer passage than the one under the control of those who pride themselves as being the guardians of Keeping Scientology Working!

Without further uncertainty, I have decided to part with the Church of Scientology!

The future

As a member of the independent Scientology community I am offering now my services as an experienced Class VIII auditor!

Headley Family Legal Fund

The Indies Defense Fund just put the Headley’s over the top to reach and exceed their $45,000 target.   See, Headley Family Legal Fund.   The $7,500 donation from our fund brought the Headley’s total to $50,535.00.    While it took the Headleys above the $45,000 target, I went ahead and transfered our entire fund as I originally said I would, because a) I thought that appropriate to satisfy the overwhelming show of support on this blog for the Headleys, b) I know that quite in addition to the costs bill of Scientology Inc. the Headleys had to satisfy, they were out of pocket tens of thousands of dollars in their own litigation costs.

Alaska Goes Independent

I am writing you as a friend and fellow Scientologist who is concerned about the current direction of the Church of Scientology.  This write-up reflects some of the discrepancies I have observed between the activities of the Church of Scientology as a separate entity to the technology of L. Ron Hubbard.   I am completely dedicated to the works of LRH and the technology of Dianetics and Scientology.

Even though Scientology is being delivered in Anchorage, AK with great benefits to individuals, the group is still connected to suppressive actions of the Church of Scientology, specifically those condoned by David Miscavige.  I will no longer support the direction the church has been going under his leadership with off-policy programs.  I cannot violate my own personal integrity any longer.

I have been in Scientology since 1987 and have been a staff member for 15 of those 25 years, currently supervising at the Anchorage Mission.  I am a Flag Interned Class IV Auditor (pre Golden Age of Tech), OT V and Patron of the IAS.  I have held several positions within the church ranging from Public Service Secretary, Cram Off, Class IV Auditor, Course Sup and A/ED. While I have had personal disagreements over the years with the way management was being run, violations of LRH policy and tech, it was usually isolated incidents and I felt it best to keep the show on the road. That said, I have had a nagging “feeling” that something was not right within the church.  I have done a lot of listening over the years and not a lot of looking.  I’ve been told not to read the internet, listen to news, etc. as there may be entheta.  I have always been a “good” Scientologist and never looked.

Recently, there have been some high ranking Sea Org members who have either been declared or have left the church.  A couple of years ago I was watching a news show and Mike Rinder, a former spokesman for the Church of Scientology, was being interviewed and had left the church and was Declared.  Some of you may recall Mr. Rinder as routinely being one of the presenters at the International Events.  I was shocked but didn’t bother to look.   Last fall, my husband had told me that Dan Koon had also left the church and been declared.  If you did the ProTRs course in the 90’s, he was “Joe Howard” in the film.  He worked directly with LRH filming the ProTRs film and now he was a declared SP.  This just didn’t add up in my universe.  Another SP is Larry Anderson who is the narrator in the Orientation film.

I decided it was time to get my head out of the sand and start to look.  After all, I live in the United States and I should be able to communicate with whoever I like and not be suppressed or told not to.

HCOB  11 April 1982 SEC CHECKING IMPLANTS LRH

An implant is an enforced command or series of commands installed in the reactive mind below the awareness level of the individual to cause him to react or behave in a prearranged way without his “knowing it.”

IMPOSED SILENCE.  “The simplest and most common implant – and its lightest but not least deadly form—is the command to withhold.  Implants could be said to be “methods of preventing knowledge or communication: and this can extend to the point of the person himself denying himself the data.  The commonest “imposed silence” is probably the threatened child – an “if you tell, you will be punished.”  Or simply ordering him not to tell.  This tends to occlude his own memory and can be classified as an implant.”

The church “culture” has become one of not reading entheta or negative press about the church, don’t communicate to others anything negative about the church, don’t read the internet, don’t communicate to your friends if the church is engaging in a program or activity that violates an HCOB or HCO PL.  Per policy, one should write-up actions that disagree with tech or policy.  However, if one does KR certain activities, my experience has been Sec Checks being order on the individual at his own expense.

On January 1st, 2012, Forrest and I were traveling back to Anchorage from visiting my mother in Georgia.  He googled “Scientology New Years Eve event” in search of any releases or announcements from the New Years Eve event.  Instead, what came up was an email from Debbie Cook, former Captain of the FSO for 17 years, OEC, FEBC (Flag Executive Briefing Course) and DSEC (Data Series Evaluators Course).  She is now declared by the church.  At the time of her email, she was not declared and in good standing.  I read the email and AGREED with every single point – FROM MY OWN REALITY AND VIEWPOINT.  There was only one point I didn’t agree with and it was only because I didn’t have first- hand knowledge of the events.  Not only that, I was familiar with the references she quoted.   I have heard comments that she violated her Nondisclosure Agreement when she left the church.  I have to ask myself this question, why did she even have to sign a nondisclosure agreement to begin with?  Was this to protect the church from her disclosing upper level confidential materials?  Was this to protect the church from some communication about OT IX or X or some other confidential project in the works?  It didn’t quite make sense to me.  Because of the above outpoints, I decided to search further as to what was happening in the church.

Outpoint:  The church seems to be operating as a money motivated enterprise with an insatiable appetite, more concerned with fundraising and cannibalizing its existing field rather than caring about the individual and getting them up the bridge.

What does LRH say?  HCO PL 31 Jan 1983 “The Reason for Orgs”  “The only reason orgs exist is TO SELL AND DELIVER MATERIALS AND SERVICE TO THE PUBLIC…THE OBJECT IS TOTALLY FREED BEINGS!”  Also LRH ED 131 INT of 8 Dec 1970: Orgs have only 2 major final valuable products.  One is well-trained auditors.  The other is satisfied pcs.”  And, “Tech and Admin policy exist only to assist making these two products IN VOLUME.”  For the past 8 months, my husband and I have been following the completions for CC Nashville, Denver Org, ASHO, ASHO UK.  This has not been occurring.

At every turn, one is made to ask for donations, i.e. IAS, books, Ideal Orgs, various library campaigns.  From my observation, most people have a relatively fixed income.  I have seen many individuals and families having to declare bankruptcy due to financial strain from regging.  Maxing out credit cards, refinancing homes, increasing credit card limits seems to be the order of the day.  There is complete disregard for the individual’s ability to pay back the debt.  Additionally, I donate to several other causes outside of the church.  I can donate a small amount, say $25.00, and I will receive the most theta acknowledgement.  One would have thought I donated 1000’s of dollars.  When I offer a donation to the IAS, I get a lame acknowledgment and then pressure for how much more I need to donate, frequently turning into a several hour reg cycle if I don’t give in to the demands.

In September, 2012, we had the first Maiden Voyage event at the mission.  We had an IAS reg come up here from CA as well as a staff member from the Seattle Org.  After the MV event, the IAS reg gave a very short briefing – 10 minutes tops- about how the church was going to get ethics in on the government and needed us to donate for this campaign.  He already had the agreement of a couple to donate $2000.00 for this cause and wanted others to do the same.  A couple other people offered donations.  He then said he would meet with others independently.  He got with me and we scheduled a time to meet the next day.  I met with him and without further enlightenment as to the need for the dollars or what the IAS was planning to do with the donation, this was his communication:

How much do I make?  How much does my husband make?  How much do we have in our savings?  What are our investments?  Do we have any inheritance?  Are we expecting any inheritance?  How much do we owe on our credit cards?  How much is available on our credit cards?  Do we own gold and/or silver? Property?  IRA’s?  In the middle of this battery of questions, I asked him why he was asking me all of this.  (Duh!) His response was to “qualify” me.  I then asked him “What about enlightening me on why you need the money”?  His response was “We’ll get to that”.  Well, we never got to that because I made sure he knew I was not qualified to donate a large amount of money.  No further enlightenment came as to the need of the money.  Is this LRH?  I have personally experienced multiple IAS reg cycles where the goal is 1000’s, even 10’s of thousands of dollars for the IAS.  Of course all of this is for the greater good for the greater number of dynamics.   After all, the third dynamic is more important than the first dynamic.  The fact that I was contributing time as a staff member doesn’t even enter into the equation.

What does LRH say about the dynamics?  Per Professional Auditor’s Bulletin #83, * 8 May 1956, “The Conditions of Existence”, Vol. III page 375, LRH states “There is no thought or statement here that any one of these eight dynamics is more important than the others.  While they are categories (divisions) of the broad game of life, they are not necessarily equal to each other.  It will be found amongst individuals that each person stresses one of the dynamics more than the others, or may stress a combination of dynamics as more important than other combinations”.   I have not seen the caring for the individual in a long time.  There has been so much pressure brought to bear on the public that they are unable to afford their own bridge anymore.

Concerning “Ideal Orgs”:  Since when is a new building and a new church the same thing?  That sounds like A=A=A to me.   The PR for the church announces all of the new “churches” it has opened recently, i.e. Ideal Orgs.  However, they are the same churches only new buildings.  The ideal org seems to be based primarily on physical appearance, not actual production. Again, I have not read any policy where LRH says to refinance your house, empty one’s bank account or donate thousands of dollars to fund these new buildings.   Is that the answer to expanding Scientology?   I have read LRH policy to the contrary.

What does LRH say about fundraising?  In HCO PL 24 February 1964, Issue II “Org Programming”, LRH states

“If the org slumps…don’t engage in ‘fund-raising’ or ‘selling postcards’ or borrowing money.

Just make more income with Scientology.

It’s a sign of very poor management to seek extraordinary solutions for finance outside Scientology.  It has always failed.

For orgs as for pcs ‘Solve It With Scientology’.

Every time I myself have sought to solve financial or personnel in other ways than Scientology I have lost out. So I can tell you from experience that org solvency lies in More Scientology, not patented combs or fund-raising barbeques.”

We just held the three 2012 Maiden Voyage events at the mission.  In one of the events, we saw the fundraising activities of the OT Ambassadors at the different orgs across the planet raising money for their new Ideal Orgs.  Does this activity agree with the above quote from LRH?

What does LRH say about buildings?   Per HCOPL “The Ideal Org”, “It would be busy looking, with staff in motion, not standing about.  It would be clean and attractive enough not to repel its public”.

 

What else does LRH say about the importance of buildings?

In the LRH lecture “Consideration, mechanics and the theory behind instruction”, July 20, 1954 from the Phoenix Lectures, LRH says “There is no effort on the part of Scientology to own or have the allegiance of billions and billions and billions of people, or to have thousands and thousands of tons of masonry piled up, with Scientology written across the top of it, or to have certain governments of Earth giving their allegiance to Scientology or something of the sort.  This is very, very dull indeed.  The empire of Scientology is 100 percent the empire of wisdom; there is no other empire envisioned”.  How is an individual supposed to afford his own bridge after all of the donations to the IAS and Ideal Orgs?  To me, the church is putting actual Scientology out of reach to the average individual.  Is that LRH’s intentions?From my observation, the church operates 180 degrees in the opposite direction of LRH’s intentions.

Where should the income of an organization come from per LRH?  In HCOB 20 March 1957 Issue I, “Income Sources”, LRH lists the acceptable income sources for an organization.  There are 12 acceptable income sources and an additional 10 items that are the most potent promotion factors.  Among some of the acceptable sources are:

  1. 1.       Processing at the Hubbard Guidance Center (preclears)
  2. 2.      Training at the Academy (students)
  3. 3.      Book sales at 1812* Reception and the HGC (*1812 19th Street NW, Washington, DC- the address of one of the buildings housing the Washing, DC organization at the time this HCO PL was written.
  4. 4.      The sale of tests to the field.

The list continues but there is no mention of fundraisers or just flat out donations from parishioners.

Outpoint:  There has been an exodus from the Church of highly trained Classed auditors as well as veteran Sea Org members.  Some of the most stable terminals in the church have either left or been declared.  Did you know most of the following individuals are now either declared or have left the church?

Kay Rowe – 37 year veteran and former IAS Registrar

Ronnie Miscavige, Snr – David Miscavige’s father

Dror Center – Scientology Mission of Haifa, Israel has left the church.  This mission had the top auditor on the planet for 2 years.

Debbie Cook – former Captain of the FSO for 17 years

Karen de la Carriere/Jentzsch – Flag Service Org (FSO) Class XII auditor and C/S;  L’s auditor CS – one of only 7 Class XII CSes ever made

Mike Rinder – former chief spokesman of the Church of Scientology. He served as Executive Director of the Office of Special Affairs

What does LRH say about SPs?

In the LRH lecture “About Rhodesia”, “You should upgrade your idea of what an SP is. Man, meet one sometime! A real one! A real monster…. Well, in all the time we’ve been around here we only had one SP that I know of. One real SP that was on staff…. And I don’t know of another single SP that we’ve ever had on staff. Isn’t that interesting. You see all these SP orders and so on… Don’t throw it around carelessly, because this is an–a very exaggerated condition, SP.”’ –

Also, Tommy Davis, former spokesman for the Church of Scientology told John Roberts on CNN

“There’s no such thing as disconnection… There isn’t any such policy in the Church dictating who you can and cannot be in communication with, it just doesn’t happen.” LRH cancelled disconnection in HCO PL 15 Nov 1968, Cancellation of Disconnection.

My husband was told by the MAA at the FSO he had to disconnect from his sister because she was married to his brother-in-law who refunded.  My husband did so.   My husband has a very large family and it was communicated to them through this action that “Scientology destroys families”.  Fortunately their relationship has been mended.  But the damage had already been done to his family.

Outpoint:  The new HQS course that was released by the church in roughly 2011 has the Code of a Scientologist from the Creation of Human Ability book.  LRH withdrew that code and reissued it in HCO PL 5 Feb. 1969R, Issue 1 Revised 15 May 1973 Code of a Scientologist. “The Code of a Scientologist as per The Creation of Human Ability is withdrawn.  It is reissued as follows:

1. To keep Scientologists, the public and the press accurately informed concerning Scientology, the world of mental health and society.”   This is vastly different that the COHA code that is in the HQS pack that states: “To hear or speak no word of disparagement to the press, public or preclears concerning any of my fellow Scientologists, our professional organization or those whose names are closely connected with the science”.  In light of recent events in the press, one has to ask if the church did this deliberately.  Also, with the emphasis of how the Basic books are exactly as LRH wanted, how could such an obvious oversight happen?

Saint Hill Size Orgs: You don’t hear them mentioned any more. All we hear about nowadays are “Ideal Orgs,” and the square footage of each.  A Saint Hill Size Org has to meet certain quotas – number of staff, number of students on course, number of auditing hours and so forth. It requires actual work. It requires real, honest expansion. An “Ideal Org” doesn’t require anything but a big, empty building – purchased with your money. The Div. 6 areas have big screen TV’s and fancy displays.  One wonders, are there any orgs in the world that are really, actually, the size of Old Saint Hill that can be measured by statistics that measure true production?

Superpower: Ron’s Journal 30 1978-The Year of Lightning Fast New Tech 17 Dec 1978  The Superpower Rundown was originally announced in 1978. It is described as “A super fantastic, but confidential series of rundowns that can be done on anybody whether Dianetic Clear or not that puts the person into fantastic shape unleashing the super power of a thetan”. Here we are, thirty five years later, and it is still not released. It also states “ Super Power will be delivered at Saint Hills within the next 6 weeks as we are right now super grooming the Super Power Auditors in a special international course”. The only mention of Superpower these days is in the context of donations towards a building in Clearwater. Construction began on this building in 1998, and now, 14 years later, the building is still not open and Super Power has not been released.  Per Wikipedia, it was originally budgeted to cost $24 million, but the cost has more than doubled to an estimated $50 million after repeated redesign of the interior.

The 1991 Book Re-release: With the release of “The Basics,” we are hearing all about how the books are now “fully verified as completely on-Source.” We are hearing how all errors have been verified meticulously against LRH’s original manuscripts to ensure that the books are exactly as LRH intended them to be. However, those of us who can actually remember the past recall that the exact same things were said in 1991 when all of the books were repackaged and re-released.

Here are the words you are supposed to forget were ever issued, from RTC ED 450, 6 September, 1991, “The Scope of Scientology, Auditors Day 1991,” written by David Miscavige:

“For this reason, in April of 1987 we embarked upon a strategy of making all the material of the Scientology Grade Chart standard and available to all. The plan was to:

“ Review all materials against original LRH manuscripts and handle any omissions or alter-is that had crept in through the years either by mistake or at the hand of some SP.”

He goes on to say,

“In this period, from 1987 to present time, the following has been accomplished…

All Dianetics and Scientology books were reviewed, gotten fully on-source and issued. These books were put into a form that could easily be studied and understood by anyone, with definitions of hard-to-find terms right in the book, thus preventing individuals from going by misunderstood. This has been done with all of the over two dozen books on the subject.”

Then, in 2007, there is the release of “The Basics”.  In the Guide to Materials of Dianetics and Scientology, it states, “All of LRH’s books are now available in their complete and pure form, precisely matching LRH’s original manuscripts….In sum, these books are not only beautiful and enduring works of craftsmanship, but – first and foremost – each is a perfect rendition of LRH’s original.

So which is correct, 1987 or 2007?  And ten years from now, will we be told to buy all the books again as “now they are completely on-Source”?

What about the “old” books?

After the release of “The Basics”, the ED at the local mission was instructed to tell the parishioners to gather their books and mail them back to the church in Los Angeles.  Living in Alaska, it wasn’t feasible to do that.  We were then told to “burn the books”.  This didn’t feel right but we complied with this “order”.  We did not apprise all of our parishioners of this fact, only the most dedicated ones as we thought that someone newer in the church probably wouldn’t “understand”.  We had a book burning bon fire at our house in which we burned all of the mission’s books that were now “old” editions of the newly released Basics as well as our own personal books.

LRH is the Source of Dianetics and Scientology and no one else. It is to be read, word cleared and understood by the individual.  Not an interpretation or suggestion from someone else.

  2. Data Series 19 “The Real Why” HCOPL 13 Oct 1970.  “A MERE EXPLANATION = a “Why” given as THE why that does not open the door to any recovery”
  3. Data Series 20 “More Outpoints” HCOPL 26 Nov. 70.  “Contrary Fact:  When two statements are made on one subject which are contrary to each other, we have “contrary facts”.
  4. Look, Don’t Listen.
  5. There is one tech and that is Standard Tech.

I am NOT Anti-LRH or Anti-Scientology.  From my research, I can no longer support what I feel the organization has become under the leadership of David Miscavige.  I have had huge wins in auditing and application of standard Scientology technology.  LRH’s purpose was to bring spiritual freedom to man and to make him more able. I feel that the organization has become one of  “mind control” and I want no part of it.  It HAS become a cult and I feel the church HAS become a suppressive group. The organization has become something else that I do not want any part of.  I want my church back!!!

The vast majority of the Sea Org Execs, Mission, Church and the field trust in LRH as Source and has the honest intention of improving conditions in this world through the standard application of ethics, tech and admin.   They are good, decent people and I will always be their friends and willing to help direct to source (LRH) materials when desired.  Per HCO PL 15 Sept. 1967, “The Supervisor’s Code”, #1.  The Supervisor must never neglect an opportunity to direct a student to the actual source of Scientology data.  I am willing to help anyone who is seeking answers to direct them to the LRH writings on the subject when able.

I am joining the group of individuals who follow LRH and insist upon “Keeping Scientology Working”.  The vast majority of the “Independents” are in accord with the above, therefore I consider them my friends and will be joining their movement.

My Doubt Formula Announcement by Forrest Crane

I’m joining the side that will KSW. This was not a Doubt Formula on Scientology. This was a Doubt Formula on the Church of Scientology.   I will remain loyal to Standard Tech. Standard Tech is so powerful it still works even when fantastically alter-ised but when unalter-ised it’s priceless.

Back in 1989 I did lower conditions and I decided that my friends were those who would Keep Scientology Working.  I still have that write up. At that time, I was only getting a small inkling of some that wouldn’t KSW.  Since then I have observed just how insane a group will go in accepting unworkable “technology.” “By actual record the percentages are about twenty to 100,000 that a group of human beings will dream up bad technology to destroy good technology.” LRH.   Back then I never thought that I couldn’t just give another Scientologist the red on white, the LRH, and not have it complied with and I never dreamt that I couldn’t write up an Alter-is Report to RTC, Snr C/S Int Off, Keeper of the Tech, etc. and not have the red on white complied with. I have been thoroughly disabused of that idea, it is shocking. Everything I have witnessed is right there in KSW #1.

HCO PL 31 MAY 1968 SCIENTOLOGY TECHNOLOGY

“There is one Tech and that is Standard Tech.  Unfortunately there is other tech around.  This other tech is a liability.  Other tech is defined as any tech which is not Standard Tech.”

One hardly hears of Standard Tech anymore.   We now have Golden Age of Tech, GAT, soon to be GAT II. Doing the GAT drills, I encountered many violations in Standard Tech and wrote up my KRs to RTRC per the instructions and also turned them in to Ethics as Technical Alter-is Reports per policy. Some of this alteration of the tech was quite serious, not minor tech points. This I did push to get hammered out of existence which only led me into being an ethics particle.

Over my history, I have written many Technical Alter-is Report on the subject of missed withholds. The subject of missed withholds is just about the most important subject there is in Scientology. Well, pcs have vanished, Missions have vanished. Overts, out-int, M-Us and PTS can all cause blows (and per HCOB BLOW-OFFS, things can be so bad one has no choice but to blow) but ONLY the MWH can make one vanish.

I’ve written this up many times only to be sent to ethics, dead filed, kicked out and it has cost me I don’t know how many 10s of thousands of dollars.  I’m done M-9ing HCOB Auditing By List. I’ve lost track how many times I’ve had to M-9 it, M-2 it, M-4s, clay demos, 13 intensives of Sec Checks, you name it, Comm Ev (my request), Court of Ethics, B of I’s.  And “Do NOT change the question” still reads the same to me as it did the very first time I read it.

So, if one gets himself ‘Dead Filed’, how do you handle that?  Well, look it up, one has to get himself to the state of Clear.  What do you do if you’re already Clear?  Well, then it’s anyone’s arbitrary. I had to get Sec Checked for 13 intensives, there went my OT V.  I was even given the “Truth R/D” and never in my life have I ever falsely vilified a well intentioned person.  In my letter I asked, ‘are you or are you not going to hammer out of existence the incorrect technology?’ When I found out I was Dead Filed, my meter was at Gold for certification.  They would not return it to me, my property.  The ED at the Mission informed me she was told that I sounded like a ‘Freezoner’. I had never heard of it before!  What is that?  And my last communication to the MAA at AOLA was, ‘I’m in need of some answers’, which resulted in my search for answers, taking off the blinders and willing to communicate with anyone or anything and boy, did I get answers!

I believe it was in 2003, I went to do the new PRoTRs course at Flag.  I wrote a KR to an RTC Rep on the violations of HCOB Auditing By Lists.  I was taken off my TRs course and sent to cramming and again had to M-9 Auditing By Lists. From there I was sent to Ethics to be informed that I had to disconnect from my sister as she was A-J and I had to leave Flag.  The policy that covers this is HCO PL 27 Oct 64R, which says you cut communication with an A to J till they have a change of heart.  This is good Church policy, but to apply it to a brother and a sister is destructive.  I left and drove to my mother’s house in Denver for a visit. My sister calls my mother every night, so when she called, my mother told my sister that I was there. Of course she wants to talk with me. I take the phone and tell my sister I’m unable to talk with her because of her relation to the Church. This hurt my sister and my mother. It was over a year before I realized no one or any organization had the right to tell me who I could or couldn’t communicate with.  Ref: HCOB 2 May 85, Responsibility, Definition Of.

But the crime had already been committed. So I wrote an apology letter to my sister begging her for forgiveness. I also stated that that was not Scientology, but was Church Executives who didn’t understand Scientology.  But the damage had already been done, it has gone through my family, and both my brother and sister have large families, that Scientology destroys families.

This idea of Scientology destroys families is widespread throughout our society due to the many forced disconnections, which has been cancelled since 1968, Reform Code, Admin Dict. HCO POLICY LETTER OF 15 NOVEMBER 1968 CANCELLATION OF DISCONNECTION

The PR on the Church is the worst in history. You won’t know that unless you look.

The Classification Chart And Auditing, 26 Jul 66, BC Lecture #434

Pg. 245 “What is standard technology? Standard technology is contained in HCOBs. It actually isn’t contained in any of the books of Dianetics and Scientology. Did you ever realize that?  Modern technology is not contained in any of the hardcover books, or any of the other books.  It’s contained in HCOBs, Hubbard Communications Office Bulletins, and they just run off one after the other. And one of these fine days I suppose we will roll up our sleeves and publish them all in consecutive order, all corrected so that nothing ever corrects anything in the bulletins and make it very, very easy. But we will have to put them probably in about seven or eight or ten different volumes, because there are quite a few of them. But that’s standard technology.  They’re on white paper printed with red ink. If I haven’t signed it, it isn’t true.  And that’s standard technology.

Now, because we developed something later, we didn’t lose the standard technology of something earlier. The main bugbear of the person studying Scientology was that he – the bugbear was his, not mine – was that he conceived, every time he read something new, that that wiped out all the old.  And this concept was brought about on just this one point” that he didn’t understand the old that he had read, so he didn’t realize that it integrated with the new which had just been issued. And at no time, really, in HCOBs, has the new wiped out the old. There are very, very few corrections.”

In this, LRH states Super Power will be released within the next 6 weeks at St. Hills.  In it he lays out the upper bridge stating:  “NED for OTs can be given any time after OT III and before OT VIII and is a prerequisite for OT VIII.” But there’s all the original OT levels. The original OT levels aren’t delivered anymore.  Can one make it to Clear without his Grades?  Can one make it to OT without his Pre-OT levels?  Some do, few can.

CL XIIs, CL VIIIs, Top Exec’s, Whistleblowers, and other Scientologists have been getting Declared. The Church has been doing everything in their power to discredit them for whistle-blowing as they will do with me.  They can take every crime and overt that I have ever committed, confessed to in or out of session, as they do anyway, and publish them in the Anchorage Daily News for all to see. I couldn’t care less. I’d even get a good laugh out of some of them.  Anyone thinking less of me has far worse things that they are hiding.

Even though LRH cancelled ‘disconnection’ back in 1968, the Church has re-instituted the practice of enforced disconnection, no longer a personal decision. I’ve seen destroyed families, destroyed marriages, destroyed businesses, destroyed friendships.  I’ve had my right to communicate, my right to property, my right to practice denied by the Church. And Debbie Cook was driven into the Hole (which is a double wide trailer at Int Base).  It is now part of Court Records in San Antonio, under oath with penalty of perjury that Debbie Cook was Kidnapped, Beaten, Tortured and Degraded. Other Scientologists were present as witnesses of the abuses. And of course, the Church says they are all bitter defrocked apostates corroborating their lying. The Church dropped their charges and would not let the Court continue. No libel and slander suit was filed. And where are the other Int Executives?  One individual suggested  they’re off doing OT IX & X. Other witnesses say otherwise.

My wife checked on my SP Declare with Denver’s Dir I&R and the DSA who had no record of my Declare.  So I emailed my friend to get a copy of my Declare and he said he was never shown the SP Declare.  He stated the SO Recruiters were in Denver manning up the Denver Org.  They verbally told him 2 CL VIIIs he was connected to were Declared and I was one of them. I have not seen my Declare order nor have I been Comm Ev’d. And as it turned out, he never joined staff in Denver. What he was doing at the time was the greater good.

My wife and I have been following the stats of Classed Auditors made and Releases and Clears made in various Orgs and to our surprise, none to few are being produced.  In 2010, my wife and I even walked into the Atlanta Org and Nashville Ideal Org and found both to be empty of public. My last Ethics handling was at AOLA in 2009.  I was sent to do a clay demo in the practical course room. On one occasion, I was the only one there.  On another occasion which was a Saturday, there was only one other student from San Francisco. I asked him why he wasn’t doing his Solo I at his Org. He replied he gets better service at AO. He had the Sup to himself and he was also his coach. Well trained Auditors and satisfied pcs are the product of orgs and they’re just not being made or just too few being made. If you reward a down stat you get a down stat.

My wife & I are Patrons of the IAS, even though this practice is forbidden by LRH, (LRH built St. Hill by exchanging a valuable service with the public), we’ve put in well over $45,000 to the IAS and are paying on that debt. I look back and wonder, ‘wouldn’t it had been better if we had given that money to the Church and gotten Susan onto her OT VI & VII, she could have been through OT VIII by now. I think all these programs the IAS is sponsoring are good programs and it’s the duty of Int management to fund these programs. And there would be more than enough to fund these programs provided the Church delivered Standard Tech and was On-Source, In-Ethics, In-Tech and On-Policy. We take responsibility for it as we walked into it but I wondered, how did they do it? The IAS has a few techniques, here’s one of them:

My wife & I will continue our spiritual journey using Scientology. I will continue to audit and I do have some VVIPs on my lineup as well as some very good friends.

All you want to know, all you want to give him is enough so he can identify it. If he collides with this thing again, he said, “Hey, that’s Standard Operating Procedure”, you know, “back there, Elizabeth”. “Early days, Elizabeth”, is about all you want to get through there. Have some dim idea where this thing fits, you see. He’s not going to do it. So therefore, if he’s not going to do it, you’ve got to strip the significance off of it. You got the idea? That’s the way these are kept in balance. If the guy isn’t going to do it, take the significance off of it. See, you’ve got to keep these things in balance. If he’s going to do it, pour it to him, man!”

My personal advice, KNOW THE TECH, skip the basics and get onto your academy levels. You’ll have plenty of time to read books if you haven’t already.

The New Israeli Advanced Organization

Claudio and Renata Lugli just arrived home to Italy from a Power mission to Israel.  Their purpose was to assist in the set up of the first Independent Advanced Scientology Organization in the Middle East.

As a result, Dani and Tami Lemberger’s Dror (Freedom) center is now delivering OT Levels auditing and training through OT VII.

The Dror Center delivers most of the Bridge in Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, and English.   It is an international marvel.

Dror has established the Israeli Independents blog, see it here in Hebrew.

Hello Marty and Friends, this is Dani. thank you for posting the news and your responses. Just a few comments:
1. We are getting ready to deliver Solo NOTs, 6 guys will soon start on it.
2. We are not “the first Independent AO in the Middle East”. We are, “the first AO in the Middle East.”
3. This achievement was made possible thanks to the dedication and determination of those preserving the tech and making the tech available to all – Marty, Claudio, Jim Logan and many more. Our gratitude to you.
4. We wouldn’t make it without our staff, dedicated to Ron and courageous to do the right thing in the face of vicious attacks by those with vested interests whose monopoly we are bringing down.
5. Tami and I got on the Bridge at COSMOD San Francisco in 1980. In 1982 Martin Samuels, the founder of COSMOD, whom I never met, was declared SP and the huge COSMOD network disbanded. We vowed in 1980 to dedicate our lives to the Clearing of the Planet. We have always maintained our total loyalty to Ron. Ron has placed spiritual freedom and immortality within the grasp of all Men. Having realized that, shortly after starting in 1980, we decided to dedicate ourselves to his vision.
6. Over the past few years, it became starkly clear these goals cannot be achieved within the Cof S. This organization has been hijacked to promote other ends. We had to leave, are happy to be out and are doing great.
