End of Days

In late 2003 David Miscavige shared with Interntional Managers of Scientology (Watchdog Committee, International Management Exec Committee, and related staff) one of the endless supply of alleged unpublished L Ron Hubbard writings he alone possessed by virtue of his “tunnels” of LRH archives (see, https://markrathbun.wordpress.com/2011/04/01/miscaviges-new-shock-squads/)

Of course Miscavige did not produce any document. As was his wont and privilege, he simply said that the document existed.  Miscavige was addressing a room full of people who had devoted their entire adult lives for the Scientology religion.  They had for the most part forsaken family, friends, and all connection to the world outside the razor wire fenced Int Base compound.  They had gone several weeks holed up at Int Headquarters, which consisted of  makeshift offices constructed within the confines of a couple of double-wide trailers.  They had very little sleep and irregular food over that several week period. They had been beaten and hazed mercilessly by Miscavige, then by others within the group who were encouraged to do the same to one another by Miscavige.  Miscavige was whining and sneering about how these international managers were acting lifeless, unresponsive to his dictates, and acting in what he termed an apathetic fashion.

Miscavige told the assembled that he was sickened by their lethargy and berated them for “non-compliance” with his grandiose plans to take over the planet.   Miscavige told the managers that L Ron Hubbard had written a prediction for how long planet earth had left; after which it would exist no more.  He did not say what cataclysm would end life as we know it – but stated definitively L Ron Hubbard said the planet would be no more by a date certain.

As the managers somehow mustered enough energy to pay attention through glassy eyes, Miscavige contemptuously stabbed, “oh, now I’ve got the attention of you dbs (degraded beings).

“You want to know how long LRH said you’ve got?”, he asked in a tech-film worthy take on the tone level of Hate.

In answer to his own question he said, “it is a lot sooner than you think.”

And with that suppressive END OF DAYS pronunciamento, Miscavige turned on his heels and left the room with a loud, angry stomp.

To me, this incident (one of many in which Miscavige invoked unpublished alleged utterances of LRH) sheds light on how the church of Scientology is incapable of reform, and how its devoted members can continue to act in such ignorant, arrogant, and insane fashions.

It also highlights just how REVERSED the subject has become.

Scientology is predicated upon the principle of workability, and use of that which is workable to evolve humanity to higher states.  And that is where its power and worth lies.  It is what sets it apart from so many other religions, isms, and ologies – it is not predicated on forcing revolution through fear; it is predicated upon facilitating evolution through understanding.

What we have been witnessing is Miscavige converting the latter to the former.

Let’s look at the Wikipedia definition of End of Days:

The End Time, End Times, or End of Days is a time period described in the eschatological writings in the three Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) and in doomsday scenarios in various other non-Abrahamic religions. In Christianity, the End Times are often depicted as a time of tribulation that precedes the Second Coming of the Christian “saviour” or a “hoped-for deliverer”, Jesus, the Christian Messiah, who will usher in the fullness of the World to Come and Kingdom of God and bring an end to suffering and evil and all things wrong with the current world. In Islam, Yawm al-Qiyāmah “the Day of Resurrection” or Yawm ad-Din “the Day of Judgement”, Allah’s final assessment of humanity, is preceded by the end of the world. In Judaism the term “End of Days” is a reference to the Messianic era and the Jewish belief in the coming of Mashiach and the Olam Haba. Various other religions also have eschatological beliefs associated with turning and redemption.

Since the advent of modern science in the 18th century, the discovery of deep time, and the age of the Earth, the concept of an “End of Days” has been replaced in contemporary discourse with questions about the ultimate fate of the universe. Most scientists believe that the “end time” will finally one day occur hundreds of billions of years from now with the heat death of the universe.

For those who have studied and applied much Scientology, no long string of quotations and references is required to demonstrate how the End Of Days concept is anathema to the subject of Scientology.

And I don’t think it necessary to paint a picture of how inculcation of such notions could be destructive of everything Scientology has to offer.

I publish this post simply to indicate some relevant information to help people think with the conundrum, “how could people act so narrow-mindedly, bigoted, and insane in the name of a subject so effective in handling narrow-mindedness, bigotry and insanity?”

Texas is Independents’ Country

Corporate Scientology has gone bat shit crazy in Texas.  So much so that the Independents of Texas have firmly established the state of Texas as Indie country. Radical Corporate Scientology is a nonentity, it has become at most the creator of material for sad jokes.  Here are the most recent evidences of Corporate Scientology’s meltdown in Texas:

Here is what the central Idle Org of Austin Texas is up to:

The church of Scientology is not going to do anything about putting ethics in on the sleezy investment class that has single-handedly crashed the world economy. Note: this is no criticism of capitalism and investment but read Adam Smith – source on Capitalism – investment should reward the servicing of a salutary cultural purpose, not be a casino for the idle to cash in on the labors of others. In fact, rather than play the role of the mighty reform organization LRH gave it, the church is going to make as many sleezy investment class members as it possibly can – that way, goes DM’s reasoning, someday “I can own it all.”

Finally, CCHR – the once vanguard of patient’s rights and foe of policitically motivated committment procedures, has declared war on a Bill introduced by a long-time State Assembyman representing the ghettos of Houston.  The bill seeks to create a suicide hotline to prevent what is becoming an epidemic of self-destructive “solutions” in poor areas.  The bill further seeks to afford protection from rampant gang violence inflicted upon inner city children trying to get on with an education and becoming productive members of society.  Is the church proposing to man its own suicide hotline or bullying protection line in Houston, or anywhere else?  No, of course not.  Their ONLY target is to STOP.  You can google HB 1386 Texas – read the proposed legislation to see whether my analysis is unreasonable. Here is a “church” of Scientology emergency call to arms in the year 2011:

Corporate Radical Scientology is dead on Texas soil.

Viva La Independencia.

Bridge Collapse Catastrophe or Instant Karma?

Radical Corporate Scientology is now as much as admitting in its promo that the arduous, one to three decade bridge Miscavige has constructed – like a modern day Rube Goldberg – was nothing but smoke and mirrors all along.  We have bait and badgered this admission out of Miscavige by persistently publishing the truth, while going on applying Scientology in a sensible fashion as the Old Man prescribed.

“Men mimic selectively when they are unaberrated, unselectively when they are aberrated. In the case of the insane person who echoes vocally and muscularly any person before him, the mimic mechanisms of the analytical mind have been
impinged on so heavily by engrams that unselectivity is the rule in the extreme.”

–         LRH, The Analytical Mind Oct. 1950

Miscavige just seems to be able to do little more than mimic these days. First, dozens of websites using my name  in the urls and the titles and utilizing my
exact format and imagery.  Then, his websites began publishing articles in my name and in Mike Rinder’s name – that is lurid pieces out of Miscavige’s Dictaphone  bylined  as if written by Mike and I.  The church’s mimicry of Independent characteristics has become habitual, albeit pathetic.  Upon extensive disclosure of Miscavige squirrel arbitraries, the church suddenly implements something to remove the arbitrary.  First it was oppressive Freeloader debt cancellations. Then there was the practice of putting people in purgatory for committing the “sin” of becoming pregnant as a coercion to abort, now pregnant SO members are immediately offloaded.  Then there was promoting the delivery of the OT Drug Rundown NOTS style. It  has become a regular, cause-effect occurrence (except of course, always a lower harmonic mimicry done for ulterior motives as opposed to a genuine reform).

And now,  perhaps the ultimate in low toned mockery and disingenuous reform.  The eighteen-month, THREE-six-month check OT VII.   After getting thoroughly exposed on this blog for using OT VII – and its endless six month check line – as a never-ending control and cash cow line, Miscavige has ordered Flag to get OT VII’s off the line in as little as eighteen months.  No joke.  They are actually promoting it. See the latest from Source mag:

Now, this leaves a number intriguing questions unanswered:

  1. What to do about the majority whom Miscavige sucked dry of savings, pensions, mortgages, and children for eighteen years
of OT VII?  Do they get a refund for the hundreds of thousands they invested for the pleasure of being subjected to decades of Miscavige arbitraries? Are they so brain numb that it won’t even register to them that they were had?
  2. Does this signify the end of endless control  and shake downs with carrots and Miscavige arbitraries?  Hardly. On the very same center spread of Source that the above OT VII blurb ran in, two other seemingly unrelated  but utterly inseparable announcements were made: a) Flag has had highest ever Purif RD completions, b) Flag has had highest ever Objectives completions.  You wanna guess what case level the bulk ofthose completions were?  You got it, OTs, and you can bet your bottom dollar that is right where his “eighteen month OT VII” is headed.  It is all about hundreds of hours of objectives being required – all the sudden – for OT levels.  Stay tuned for more on that score soon.
  3. Can meaningful reforms be genuinely implemented through mimicry? My guess is not.  Scientology is knowing how to know in the fullest sense.  If these clowns just Chinese school us they still don’t understand.  How would they then be capable of delivering what they don’t themselves understand?
  4. Finally, check out the latest piece of Flag email promo.  Has Miscavige now utterly annihilated the eighteen month record from Clear to OT VII (before the ink was even dry on the first promo of it), by routinely having the ENTIRE bridge done in one year as currently promoted?

What is next, the blue pill?  As in Morpheus to Neo: “You take the blue pill – the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe.”

Or, Instant Karma:

Rolling Radical Scientology Rats

This is a study in the anatomy of Radical Scientology’s dog-eat-dog, Gestapo-like cultural computation (read serv fac) of ‘to preserve my own neck, I’ve got to serve up a half dozen friends’ necks to the chopping block.”

If one were to do a deep-reaching survey that really found out people’s genuine considerations, it is my bet that this cultural computation is probably the most
frightening aspect of the subject of Scientology (to date largely actually mistaken for Radical Corporate Scientology).

Enslaved peoples and freed peoples for millennia have understood that horizontal bonds are more important, more valuable, and more durable than vertical ones.  They understand innately that vertical loyalties, while in the short-run sometimes remunerative, are cancerous when they are used to impose oppression and treachery onto horizontal lines.

Because the Resistance (Indies not yet identified publicly) is growing as rapidly as publicly declared Indies, we have come across a growing body of documented evidence of the suppression that is Radical Corporate Scientology.

The documentation below gives great insight into the dark, insidious nature of the current Radical Corporate Scientology tyranny, and more particularly into how that plays out in the lives of individual public Scientologists.

We are going to pick up where we left off earlier in the week with the strange case of Susie Lewis,  the South San Francisco Bay Area Scientologist who was squashed and made amenable to rolling over upon others.  For background, see:

https://markrathbun.wordpress.com/2011/05/15/plant-or-vegetable/

https://markrathbun.wordpress.com/2011/05/16/m-for-mankind-welcome-to-the-twilight-zone/
The earlier beginning for Susie Lewis being exposed and flipped against her
Scientologist friends in the bay area was Scientology Inc leveraging personal
tragedy into betrayal. Standard Operating Miscavige Procedure (STOMP).

Barbara Nisbet completed OT VIII in 2007. She was a well-respected and loved
veteran Scientologist in the Chicago field. Her daughter is Jennifer Latch (San
Francisco Org Tech CS and wife of Snr CS SFO Stephen Latch) and Barbara’s husband was a long-time Chicago area Scientologist Class VIII field auditor Rich Nisbet.  After Barbara underwent treatment for cancer in 2009, Barbara and Rich moved to the Bay Area in order to be closer to Jennifer and her two  daughters. Ultimately, in September 2010 Barbara lost her struggle with cancer and passed away.

Rich Nisbet was thought to be echoing the sentiments of Barbara when he told a number of Scientologists that it was the continuously administered sec  checks through OT VII and OT VIII and the “EP” of this squirrel, oppressive regimen that caused the death of Barbara.  By the very nature of his sentiments Rich went further underground and furtive on the outskirts of the Radical Corporate Scientology community.

However, not possessing the courage of his own convictions, apparently not wanting to lose connection to Barbara’s daughter and grandchildren, and
having a 1.1 streak (never addressed because it is becoming a requirement in
Radical Corporate Scientology) instead of doing the honorable thing and standing up, Rich did what is now quite more acceptable conduct in the Radical Corporate Scientology community.

Within a month of Babara’s death Rich was busy stealing the wife of another Scientologist and good friend Dan Maas, another Miscavige authorized field auditor Lynette Maas. By December 2010 Dan Maas caught onto what was up with Nisbet and his wife. In January, 2011 Maas not only put a nasty physical beat down upon Nisbet, but through a well-chronicled, widely distributed email he informed public and staff far and wide about his investigation and his execution of street justice upon Nisbet:

Caught-Bot-Distribution-List

Sadly, apparently by January 2011 street justice was all Maas could obtain
because Nisbet’s crimes had entered Flag Service Organization’s (FSO) STOMP
processing mill. That is, Flag found out not only about the out 2D, but also
caught out Nisbet on associating with potential Indies, Scientologists taking a
look at truth and chatting with one another about it – and STOMP policy is IMMUNITY FOR RATS.  That is, regardless of the crime, it is more or less forgiven if you participate in the worst kind of violation of several provisions of the ONLY ethics code in Scientology, the CODE OR HONOR.  At the Flag Service Org Rich Nisbet  was rewarded for stealing the wife of another Scientologist by way of the simple expedient of fingering his “friends” for a good long twisting in the wind dangling from the gallows. Flag, in its now inimitable style, turned Rich Nisbet from something resembling a man into something resembling a mouse (rat).

Please see the attached email cycle between Nisbet and an FSO MAA.  It reads from bottom (earliest) to top (latest). Slavka is a Flag MAA. Apparently, as of December Nisbet thought he was gonna slide out of FSO by giving the FSO MAA a little bit of ratting. But, Nisbet was disabused of that by the MAA, who informed him that under STOMP, you gotta give up everybody in order to walk. YIKES indeed Mr. Nisbet:

Slavka-FSO-MAA

Black Dianetics rarely is applied without its implants. And implants were dutifully applied to Nisbet’s by then compliant, passive, receptive and injured mind.   Nisbet was coercively disabused of  his (and perhaps Barbara’s) initial, uninfluenced views that perhaps Barbara’s condition had something to do with the hundreds of thousands of dollars that were sucked out of her like blood from a vampire’s host, the years of invalidative control and Black Dianetics palmed off as the “upper levels”.  In its place was firmly planted the  following invention,  180 degrees diametrically opposed to truth. He was implanted to  forsake his dead wife’s views and adopt those of David Miscavige.  To wit, Barbara died because Rich and she discussed the possibility Flag and FSSO under the suppressive Black Dianetics of David Miscavige might have had some effect on Barbara’s health.  In other words, a brush with the truth is potentially lethal. Folks, it does not get any darker than that.  Miscavige is not just death, he is insidious megadeath.

I have never engaged in public discussions about the possibility of Upper Level Black Dianetics being a factor in the frighteningly high numbers of Flag and FSSO public OT VIIs and OT VIIIs dying of cancer. I haven’t done so in order not to contribute to the misconception that the tech of OT VII and OT VIII could in any fashion lead to illness of any kind.  I have in fact curbed such discussions from the commentary on this blog. But, having investigated this entire matter and learned of the broken, twisted lives and deaths of the characters involved (and compared it with so many similars), I am getting the idea perhaps we do have a duty or common decency obligation to do something about Miscavige and Radical Corporate Scientology driving people at the Upper Levels toward Miscavige’s cinder-hearted graveyards. It is not the technology in play. It is the Miscavige STOMP – taking people’s life fortunes, splitting their families asunder, invalidating and implanting them in the name of “upper OT levels”, forcing them through economic and familial coercion to commit serial violations of their own personal integrity and THE CODE OF HONOR.  Then, not simply leaving them to die in peace, but punishing them, further splitting their families for the afterlife by squeezing the last bit of remaining integrity out of the survivors. Relatively innocent out tech of relative short duration on the Upper Levels ain’t gonna hurt anyone to amount to anything.  Systematically abandoning the CODE OF HONOR, one’s personal integrity, and one’s sense of the rightness of things – AT ANY LEVEL – is quite capable of KILLING anyone.  That is Megadeath’s STOMP.

What has all this got to do with the simple tale of Susie Lewis?  Nisbet went on to rat out a number of “under the radar” truth seekers including, but by no means limited to, Susie Lewis.

Ironically, or perhaps not since we are doing nothing more really than
trafficking in truth, the exposure of all this is creating a bit of an Independence
exodus – particularly in the Bay Area.

Stay tuned.

Be connected.

Communicate.

Have your integrity.

Peace.

A Solution to Economic Coercion

The following article is the welcome page to Steve Hall’s new interactive webpage, http://www.freeandable.com/ .  Steve’s timing for release could not be more appropriate given the nature our discussions this past week.

Free and Able is a solution to the campaign of economic warfare waged by David Miscavige against ex members of the Church of Scientology. In flagrant violation of labor laws against discrimination, Miscavige has worked strenuously to silence dissent and stifle free speech by ordering current members to “disconnect” any employee in disfavor with the Church. Not just Church staff, but anyone who works for or with any Scientologist anywhere — perhaps for a dentist or in a bookstore. If that person criticizes Church leadership, the Church moves swiftly, contacting the person’s employer and ordering him or her to fire the dissenter, effectively immediately. Any “friends” or “family” are ordered to “disconnect” immediately. But hang on, because that also includes customers, clients, business partners, colleagues, and employees. All ties to any Scientologist and all communication is severed, without so much as a “Gosh Bill, it’s been nice working together for the last 25 years. Too bad now you can’t support your family or pay for your home, health care or your car.”

Most Scientologists of 5, 10 or 20 years have social and business networks infused with fellow Scientologists. So you can imagine how devastating it is to suddenly be alone… with no social or professional network to fall back on.

That’s where we come in

Each time David Miscavige orders his lynch mob to string someone up, we can cut that economic noose. We do it by forming ourselves into a professional network of free and able individuals, using what we know to flourish and prosper. And as LRH said in a lecture (paraphrased here), “All I ask is this: as you move up in Scientology, remember to take Scientology with you.” But in our case, we are taking the Independent Scientology community up with us.

It’s easy to do. If you need something printed, try an Indie printer; there are several really good ones including Tis Grafx in Portland.  If you need a wicked-cool website or marketing, maybe you’d like to use the man who created this website, Scientology-cult.com, and played a large role in launching the entire Independent Scientologist movement. Piano lessons, landscaping, carpentry, furniture, health supplements, estate sales, antiques, fine art, ghost writers, poetry… the list goes on and on. You are buying these products anyway. Why not get the most bang for your buck by buying from your friends in Independent Scientology?

Talent migration

Not only are Independent Scientologists in the main incredibly responsible, friendly, happy, ethical and hardworking, they possess remarkable insight, intelligence and talent forged by fire. When other people are approaching their limits, the average Indie is not even phased. Right here in this website, serious, world-class talent is being offered to the commercial market for the first time.

Steve Hall, creator of FreeandAble.com

When I left the CoS in 2004, there was no social nor professional network to fall back on. I had witnessed Little Dave McHitler beating staff in true Nazi style, and I made it clear the violence was the reason for my departure. In response, the Church (i.e. David Miscavige) did their coercive best to make sure I was never heard from again.

Instead, I smoothly bridged into the private sector, rebuilt my own life from scratch using LRH tech and now I’m helping to disable Miscavige’s Army of Darkness because it is truly vicious.

A year ago, I predicted one day soon Scientologists inside the CoS would envy the social and professional network we have in Independent Scientology. Well, that day is here. We are free and we are able. And our professional network is infinitely superior to anything within the Church since every single anemic straggler left inside the Church is attached by the wallet to a giant leech.

Sucks to be leech food.

The Free and Able name

Free and Able was a full year in development. Answers to difficult problems don’t always grow on trees, but they do exist—somewhere: it’s just a matter of finding them where at first nothing appeared to be.

Our website name was suggested in May 2010 by my friend, Super Fortress, an expert in all things online since the Internet began. In exchange, I introduced him to Scientology. He actually became a Scientologist thanks to Scientology-cult.com.

He pulled the name “Free and Able” from an article I wrote on Scientology-cult.com about Independent Scientologists, “We use Scientology and operate on LRH principles while remaining totally independent, free and able.”

“Free and Able” — that’s us I think you will agree.

M for Mankind – Welcome to the Twilight Zone

My man Rod Serling gives the perfect one minute introduction to the latest from the South Bay area (South San Francisco Bay).  Documents from the local orgs all the way up to OSA.  Please watch Mr. Serling’s introduction so you are prepared, then enter the Twilight Zone as set forth in the documents which follow concerning the earlier beginning of the strange case of Ms Lewis:

Public and org reports:

HowSueGotCaught

OSA, enters Stage Right:

Bruce

In closing, please consider my humble opinion in all this. The fourth largest concentration of Scientologists in the world – San Francisco Bay area – is about to erupt.

Plant or Vegetable?

Below is a public announcement by a recently reaccredited Radical Scientologist.  It has been widely circulated around the Southern San Francisco Bay Area.   Susan Lewis was accepted back into the Radical Scientology community only after blowing the whistle on every Scientologist she knew was committing the sin of seeking truth.

The announcement couldn’t be more timely.  I was working on a post urging more people from the South Bay area stand up to take some of the heat off of Lorie Hodgson and her mother Dee McMurdie.   But, as has become almost tradition, Miscavige and OSA just have beat us to the punch in driving people from their cult.

This write up might remind some of you of the fear, the pack mentality, and the stultified intellect you may have felt when you were a member of the Radical cult.  It is a fascinating study too in the subject of brainwashing.  Brainwashing?  Isn’t  that a tad extreme?, you might ask.   My answer is no, it is not extreme at all.  Look at the two rock bottom stable datums Ms Lewis is convinced by the likes of John Allender and Mark Warlick (from the blue shirted shock squad that visited my home recently) are lies.  Two of the most obvious, well documented FACTS established about David Miscavige:

a)      David Miscavige is a mean-spirited, little dictator who keeps his troops in line by habitual, daily physical violence.

b)    David Miscavige and his cult are under investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

On “a” more than fifteen eye witnesses have given credible accounts of this truth, many in an open fashion against his or her own interests.  The ONLY evidence provided by the church are Tommy Two Tone’s now infamous meltdowns (and those of Jenny Devocht, Anne Joassam, Cathy Rinder, Norman Starkey and Guillame Lesevre).  On “b”, this was reported in probably America’s most credible publication, by a Pulitzer prize winning author.  What did the church counter with, a personal interview with the Director of the FBI?   Afraid not.  And since when does it even matter to a Radical Scientologist whether the FBI is for or against your leader? How gullible can somebody get?  Radical Scientologist gullible.

Or, perhaps they don’t really get that stupid.  Perhaps Ms. Lewis was on mission from the get go.  That is how Haydn James see it and he’s an old OSA pro.  I’d be interested in other people’s takes on this one.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

I am going to get the time line on this as best as possible. I will
note where I am not sure of the exact time and/or sequence. Where I
can remember the exact words stated, I’ve made it clear. Where I
cannot remember the exact words, I’ve been as accurate on the
concept of the comm cycle as possible.
One thing that became very clear to me is the how actually very few
people get embroiled in this, it’s not “everywhere” like I
initially believed. The numbers of people involved are very very
small. I was myself part of it posting under numerous IDs making it
seem more but in actual fact the percentage of people involved is
miniscule.
Towards the end of March 2010, I talked with Mari Perry
when she called my office. She was upset about the CNN Anderson
Cooper show. She said “Did you hear about the Anderson Cooper show
on Scientology?” I said I had not and didn’t know who or what
Anderson Cooper was, she explained what the show was.

I said I understood how she felt but it sounded like a bunch of
nonsense. I told her I had been through this before with the “60
Minutes” cycle many years ago. I told her that I write-up or query
things that I have questions on.

I was then invited over to Tom and Vickie Chandler’s house shortly
after Mari and I talked in March of 2010. Jon Perry was there also
along with Vickie Chandler.

Tom asked me what I thought of the Anderson Cooper show. I told him
I hadn’t seen it and wasn’t planning to. I had recently read a
Marty Rathbun posting and told Tom I was shocked that this guy was
writing about sessions he delivered and how that violated so many
policies. I called Marty various names and was angry. Tom agreed
with my anger.

He talked about his “BPC.” I said something about we should always
write things up. He told me that he has in the past but doesn’t
anymore and agreed to do that. I told him that the things I had
queried or written up, I always got a response and gave him a
couple examples.

Tom also sent me an email with a J&D picture, like a copy of a book
that had something to do with some show. I deleted it. This was
about a week or so after being at his house.

That evening at Tom and Vickie’s house, Mari nattered about
different subjects. I listened and didn’t say much.

Taking one incident, I told Mari I didn’t believe anything like
that would occur at least how she described it. I asked her if she
wrote it up and she said she didn’t. I told her she needed to do
that and she said she would.

I’m not sure exactly when after going to Mari’s, she called me. I
had just met Rich Nesbit in our office. She said she had talked to
him and he said that he liked me. Mari then said “Don’t be
surprised if he reads the blogs too” and I didn’t know what to say
so I said nothing. She insinuated that Rich was involved with the
blogs.

Shortly after that, I began to read suppressive blogs. The
more I read, the more upset and keyed-in I got. I posted on the
blog from May through October. My postings included being
antagonistic, sympathetic and mutual out ruds with the people on
the blog. This only made my condition worse and was of no benefit
to myself or to my group. I nattered and entertained natter about
the Church.

I posted under the names of Goddess, Eli, Snicks and AnOT. I will,
to the best of my ability, disclose what I posted.

I remember posting a win as a WISE member on “Possibly Helpful
Advice.”

I remember acking Dickie Conn’s posting on the same website when
she posted under the name “Water Dragon” or something very similar
to that screen name.

I remember acking a post (maybe two) from OTDT as being funny.

I remember posting about being a staff member and a sup.

I remember sympathizing with Tara.

I remember posting an ack on a suppressive sight after looking at
it.

I remember a post about asking any Scientologists who were reading
the blogs to go into their Org’s and get in comm. I remember Marty
being angry at that.

I sent emails to Jim Logan and Dan Koon, asking if they had
witnessed any physical abuse. They both said no. This was somewhere
after May but no later than July, I think. I befriended Karen de la
carriere and Dan on Facebook so they could get mass on me and then
I deleted the request as soon as it was accepted. I had no further
contact with Jim and Karen, but did hear from Dan a couple of times
but nothing for months. I closed out the email account.

I believed at that point that any “beatings” that occurred were
done by Marty and Mike.

Email to Jim Logan – I got his email off of Marty’s site. I
emailed him and told him who I was. I asked him if he had ever seen
any beatings and he said no. I thanked him for the data.

Karen de la carriere – I friended Karen de la carriere on Facebook.
She accepted and said I would get declared for doing that. I
incorrectly sympathized with her and then defriended her and had no
further contact with her.

Dan Koon – The same as Jim & Karen but I also told him that I was
not looking to jump ship but that I was a long term Scientologist.
I asked him about any beatings and he said in all the years he was
in the SO, he had never seen anything like that. I told him he
needed to handle his scene and that I wouldn’t be in comm with him.
This was several months ago.

I met with Dickie Conn-Wieble last year in San Francisco. I don’t
recall the month, but it was several months ago, around June. She
and Scott (her husband) were in town and we got together for
breakfast. Dickie nattered about Church Management.

After that, she told me Scott was getting audited by someone else
named David. I’m not sure who this is but I assume she either meant
David St. Lawrence or David Thomas who are squirrels. Later she
sent me a copy of a suppressive posting she did on one of the sites
under the name “Water Dragon” and up until recently that was the
last contact I had with her.

I told her I was going to stay and work things out. I told her I
loved my job, my life, my friends and being on post at the Mission.

She said (this was a phone conversation before meeting up in San
Francisco) that she knew Mike Rinder and had spoken to him since he
had blown. I told her I barely knew who he was and I had a real
problem with them going to the press as that is a suppressive act
per LRH.

I found out it was Dickie who sent me a suppressive’s resignation
letter to my personal email. This was earlier this year. I sent her
a text telling her no more communication as I was/am doing an
ethics cycle.

Around April of 2010, I had dinner with someone who has one child
in the SO and one out. About a month later I sent her the link to
Marty’s blog and then turned around and told her to delete it. She
did and I have asked her 3 times if she did without looking at it
and she has promised me, each time, that she did. I told her that
was a horrible overt on my part. I forwarded an enemy line to a
friend and fellow Scientologists, thereby giving the enemy power
and validation.

Towards the end of February, Mari invited me over to her house for
her son’s birthday party. Several people were there, including Tom
& Vickie Chandler. I had seen on Twitter either that day or the day
before something about the Church being investigated by the FBI. I
have since found out there is no such investigation and that such a
statement is Black PR initiated by suppressives and then forwarded
by people who are either PTS or are themselves suppressives. There
is no such investigation and such is put there to create a
“dangerous or threatening environment.”

As soon as I arrived, Mari asked me if I had seen the data about
the FBI investigation. I told her I had but had no idea if it was
true. I now know it is false.

Tom Chandler and I sat out in the back yard and chatted about
business. He brought up the Paul Haggis article in The New Yorker.
Jon Perry was sitting there. I told him I had read it, thought it
was stupid and that Haggis was obviously NCG and it was too bad it
didn’t get caught.

Mari began to interrupt Tom and I by saying in a very loud voice
“So, what’s new?’ and after the third time, Tom told her she was
cutting our comm.

I told Tom, Mari and Vickie that I had been writing things up and
that I was trying very hard to keep in my KSW. Vickie said if I do
that, I would be a target. I said “Bring it on.” I said this
because what I had been involved in with Tom, Mari and Vicki was
natter and a 1.1 representation of truth and I was not going to be
involved in it any longer.

Later that night, Mari asked me to stay and talk with her. We sat
in her living room and I just listened.

She said she had posted under a screen name I think was “Free
Spirit” or something like that. I think it had some combination of
8 and 8-80 but I can’t say for sure. She said she had only done in
once. I again told her to just stop all of it.

She said recently “Maybe the Independents were the way to go.” I
told her they were full of s**t or something along those lines. I
said that Marty was a monster and harming people and the thing to
do was to stay in the group – there is no other option and that is
what LRH says in numerous policies. Don’t squirrel. This was a
phone call I had with her right before going over to her house in
February.

She said some people are reading the blogs. She told me some names
which I have reported separately. She tried to get me to tell her
what I knew about that and I told her I had no idea and didn’t want
to know and I left her house. That was the last time I talked to
her despite several messages and text messages from her.

LRH says that I am to say that I realize my actions were ignorant
and unfounded and then to say what the influences were, etc. He’s
right. They were unfounded and ignorant AND stupid AND arrogant
because there was absolutely no basis in logic for me to connect up
to a Suppressive Group. None. I can’t come up with any additional
justifications and the ones I had just don’t work for me anymore.

I clearly see the influences and I clearly see the exact moment I
went into agreement with the SP’s and why. I made a conscience
decision to do that and I take it all back. I was wrong and recant
everything and not because I think it will sound good to my Church
but only because I can see it for myself.

The only conspiracy I can see is well known – declared SP’s (Marty
and his gang) and I walked right into it. I can’t say that Mari is
part of it but I can say that disconnecting from her and deciding
she was on her own was a very pro-survival decision for me.

As for influences, I’ve written that up (disconnection letter to
Jan Jessup) and I fully acknowledge it along with my own decision
to act in the manner that I did. I had power of choice the whole
time.

My actions were ignorant and unfounded because:

1) All LRH policies are very clear about not communicating to a
suppressive person or group but I did anyway.

2) I was ignorant because I thought I knew what I was doing and
didn’t even think about the consequences until it was too late.

3) I opened the door for SP’s to be part of my life and never made
the connection.
4) I harmed the only group on the planet that can and does help
mankind. By posting and participating in this activity, I pushed
power to the suppressives and granted their actions beingness. I
justified their actions and failed to help friends of mine who were
also involved with squirrel websites and did not apply standard
ethics policy to myself and to them and therefore made a bad
situation worse.
I disconnected when I realized what my actions had done. I decided
to handle within the Church per policy and stick to my own
agreements, as a Scientologist to follow LRH’s policy. To do
otherwise was an act of Treason. If I could get agreement on
grievances for myself, then I would not have to confront and take
responsibility for anything and I could blame others for my
condition.
There have been many wins on this but the one thing that is
starting to happen is the biggest one of all for me – my trust in
the Church is being restored. I am seeing for myself how much
better things are.

Rise and Shine

I noticed by a number of indicators that apparently the past few days of posts on the subject of Scientology spying have created some fear within the ranks of Independents and others who frequent this blog.  I can tell by the comments, numbers, back channel email and phone comm.

I noticed some people playing the old “ignore” the black panther card.  It goes, “I have nothing to hide, I am a friend with everybody, and I’ll just charm them right on up the tone scale.”  For those who don’t care much about the future of Scientology, and thus don’t make it their business to do much about it, that is perfectly workable. However, for those dedicating some time to salvaging the subject from the jaws of Miscavige defeat,  I am afraid that that philosophy just does not work. The former are not targets for hard ball, the latter are.   Hard core anti-Scientologists are not even targets for hard ball.  Anti-Scientology activity warrants you kid glove treatment by Miscavige.  Corporate Scientology Public Enemies worthy of hard core operations are Independents doing something effective about the continued and future use of the subject Scientology. By comparison, Anti Scientologists are friends of Dave.  That is why it takes a lot more courage to do something about the state of Scientology than to contribute to its demise.  For more on that subject, see https://markrathbun.wordpress.com/2009/11/12/the-great-middle-path-redux/

There are two other problems with the “ignore” rationale.

First, whether you have something to hide is utterly irrelevant. Scientology intelligence operatives don’t befriend you primarily to find out stuff about you that you are hiding in order to stay out of trouble.  They befriend you in order to influence you into situations, to find stuff they can take out of context to black PR you and play psychological warfare on you, to covertly drive wedges between you and others, and to lose you your employment, all for the purposes of ruining you utterly.

Second, you are not going to charm a died-in-the-wool 1.1 up the tone scale. If you think you are, then you just plain don’t get the tone scale as covered in Science of Survival, PDC, and a number of other books and lecture series.  Every one of OSA’s agents are certified 1.1s right out of the same mold as their ultimate master David Miscavige.

And, therein lies the good news.  The article Catching Scientology Spies omitted the most important point of all – the most obvious point. It was omitted because it is a given between us primary targets.  And that point is, every one of OSA’s agents are certified 1.1s right out of the same mold as their ultimate master David Miscavige.

Intelligence is a 1.1 business.  The only effective undercover agents are really good 1.1s. They have  got to be real good 1.1s in order to survive in the trade for very long.  Don’t mistake this for the acting trade. This is the living a double life business, convincingly living a synthetic valence over an extended period of time while carrying out the purpose of destroying the life of the target.

So, while we shared fifteen or so common traits of these 1.1s, we omitted to mention the most important overriding point, intelligence agents are 1.1.  Not just in the Scientology field – in all intelligence fields.  And that is why repelling operatives is so easy for someone well above 3.0 who understands the tone scale.  Pretty simple.  I don’t let 1.1s too deep into my life.   If you know the tone scale and the tech of it, there is not much to worry about. The more you know the easier it is. If one only had a superficial knowledge and the ability to rattle off a
number of tones, and a couple of characteristics, it would be a fairly arduous
task.  But if you knew the tone scale so well you can perceive the chronic wavelength a person emits the moment he/she walks into the room it becomes as easy as living a stressless life.  Every tone has its own, unique wavelength.
And with practice they are perceptible. That is Philadelphia Doctorate Course tech, and it takes a pretty straightened out case where theta perceptics are alive and functioning.  But, in the meantime, one can study and work on it. Hell, there are a lot more valuable benefits to such a study than simply spotting and repelling plants.  So, forget the topic of this article; I highly recommend such a course of study for anyone.

The message I wanted to convey here is that despite my attempts to get people’s confront of evil up a few notches, don’t mistake that for the promotion of a dangerous environment. It is not dangerous if you avail yourself of the tech and don’t lead a 1.1 life with a gaggle of 1.1. “friends”, and don’t go reasonable falling for the 1.1 ploys of plastic people in your life. And if you stop buying the theetie-wheetie nonsense that there is no evil in the world and that we all will win solely by holding hands and singing Kumbaya; because, after all, we are all one and the same.  Making people believe that is the biggest and oldest con in this universe.  It sure sounds warm and fuzzy, but it is a covert (1.1) means of getting you to check your ability to “differentiate” at the door, the first step in dispensing with your sanity and causation.

For anyone interpreting this as an invitation for people to witch hunt and willy-nilly call people plants and trolls, please read it again.  It is not. You rarely see me engage in that, and it bothers me when I see trigger happy people attempting to shoot someone for treason on the blog with little provocation.  I chalk that up to an inability to hold one’s position in space, to confront what is before one and to investigate to determine truth.  I do invite people to up their confront and increase their abilities to perceive and reckon truth.  After all, it is truth that will set you free.

With Friends like that…Washington Post pt II

An insincere and evil friend is more to be feared than a wild beast; a wild beast may wound your body, but an evil friend will wound your mind.

Another “church” of Scientology Office of Special Affairs “intelligence” memo is appended below.  This one is dated 11 April, 2006 and is a follow up to the last post on this blog concerning Corporate Scientology’s war on Washington Post Senior Editor Richard Leiby.

Please note how the word “friend” is used seven different times in this memo.  I think it would behoove folks to beware of “friends” sent in, bought off or otherwise corrupted by Corporate Scientology.   Radical Scientologists are quite capable of and inclined toward the intentional wounding of minds.

          RICHARD LEIBY

A friend asked Leiby how his trip to California was. He said that it was terrible because of the rain.  They know each other through Ida, and she knew he had been in California working on an article. The topic initially was Ida and some concern about her health.

Leiby said that he has been busy working in other priorities. When the friend wished him good luck on his story on Scientology, he went down tone. The friend commented that he did not appear to be enthusiastic about it. Leiby response was, “sometime other things take priority and you get taken off something and don’t get excited any longer.” Leiby said that it would take some months before he does anything with the Scientology story and he said it as if he had no idea himself of when this would be. He then told the friend that he doesn’t have an exact timing or deadline to do it.

The friend wished him well and ended the conversation.

          CHUCK BEATTY:

As he’s usually close to Lerma and plugged in to “media” the subject came up in a routine conversation with a friend. Beatty said that he used to get two or three calls a month from young reporters who asked him questions like “does Scientology brainwash?” Beatty was nattering about these reporters because they asked him stupid questions and it clearly showed that they didn’t do their homework. Beatty said that he is not qualified to answer such a question anyway.  The friend then brought up having seen an article by Leiby from last year (on the web). Beatty said that he knows of Leiby and that he is a very good reporter, but he did not know of anything that Leiby is doing in PT.

Expecting data still from other sources.

Scientology Cult vs. Washington Post – part one

Probably the only man who hates the Washington Post more than Richard Nixon did is David Miscavige, leader of the Corporate Scientology Cult.

In 2006 Washington Post Senior Editor Richard Leiby was working on a story concerning the corporation that according to its founding documents (as directed by L Ron Hubbard) had the power to prevent David Miscavige from  creating a dictatorship of Corporate Scientology, the Church of Spiritual Technology (CST).

Leiby was no stranger to Scientology stories.  He had been targetted by the Scientology’s Guardian’s Office in the 1970’s for his investigative reporting for the Clearwater Sun newspaper.

Accordingly, in 2006 Miscavige called for OSA (Office of Special Affairs, the Guardian’s Office successor) to hit Leiby with all slick ops in order to silence the Washington Post and try to prevent disclosures about CST.

The first op included sending  “a source” in on Leiby to elicit personal information from him, searching the trash of Leiby and of his wife with whom he was separated, and launching investigations to use the Leibys’ ongoing divorce proceeding as a club against Mr. Leiby.  Recent investigations indicate Leiby’s wife – who was blanketed by OSA initially – ultimately caved and accepted Corporate Scientology assistance in using her divorce proceedings as a boot to Mr. Leiby’s throat.  That is the way it goes with Corporate Scientology, it is all about leverage.  And it is all about crushing the “opposition” by any means imaginable.

The following is an Office of Special Affairs Investigation (Intelligence) Division report of March 27, 2006 detailing the initial Leiby offensive.

RICHARD LEIBY

In approximately March of 2005 Leiby was living with Arnie Lerma as he was having marriage trouble and was kicked out of the house by his wife.  He had planned to stay there for a month or two while he got things together.

At the end of January we found the new apartment that Leiby moved to in Rockville, Maryland, about 2 miles away from his wife (Theresa) and their three children.

Although they have been separated for a year no divorce papers have been filed as yet, as he and his wife are fighting over the equity in the home and are working out property settlements with their attorneys before filing anything in court.

The wife, Theresa Defino, is the Executive Editor of the Physician’s Practice magazine – a magazine for doctors that covers the business side of the medical field such as insurance contracts, billing etc. She has been a medical writer her entire career. She works from home and the children are with her – a 16 year old girl and 12-year-old twins, a boy and a girl.

Special collections [Ed note: euphemism for stealing the garbage] could not be done at Leiby’s apartment but this was checked regularly at the wife’s home [her garbage WAS collected]. Thus far nothing of interest has turned up.

Leiby has been very stressed out about the divorce and per a source, he gave up his gossip column “Reliable Source” with the Post, as he could not handle it.  He also has a situation with his personal finances as he has to pay for the divorce and the attorney fees, plus the house and his apartment.

Leiby made two calls to CST on March 24th each time leaving just his name and his Washington phone number. DSA DC made a call on the 27th Leiby’s senior at the Washington Post, Deborah Heard. She was informed that as Leiby was so completely biased, we were not going to be calling him back but we would talk to anyone else at the Post.  Deborah responded that she hoped that someone would call him back as she had 65 juniors and she did not know what they were all working on. It was reiterated that Leiby was extremely biased and had recently been a roommate with someone who is a major attacker of the Church, who has threatened the Church and has been involved with extremist right wing groups. Deborah was taken aback but was still repeating that we should call Leiby back. She was told that this was not going to happen, as while we have had other reporters that were biased, at least they gave us an opportunity to respond and quoted what was said. However with Leiby it was felt that he would not fairly represent what was said.

Deborah responded that she was sorry we felt that way, but in her 15 years of working with Leiby at the Post, she has found him to be a “serious, dedicated, meticulous reporter.” She said that with any complaint, there are three avenues – Legal and go to the Legal Dept (she was informed that it was not a Legal issue), that the ombudsman, Deborah Howell is the readers advocate and we could write to her. Lastly, the Department Head can hear complaints and she wants to hear complaints about her staff.  She was informed this was a complaint and she then suggested that a letter be sent to her with the complaint.

A letter will be sent to Deborah Heard that details the past relationship with Leiby and what the upsets are that make us feel he is not qualified to report on the Church.

We are currently workout out a new meeting with Leiby with the resource to get more information to find out what the current scene is with his wife, any specific data as to why she kicked him out, what he is planning on doing, etc.
