My trip in and out of the Church of Scientology

by Andy Porter

For 20 years I was an active member of the Church of Scientology, first as a public person taking courses, then as a staff member and finally as an international missionary. My trajectory through the church traces a dual path of increasing awareness and improvement while at the same time trying not to notice the things that were wrong. The problem was that the more aware I became the harder it was to ignore what wasn’t right.

My story is not heroic. I made and accepted excuses for the “bad” parts of the Church. In many cases I perpetrated wrongnesses on others, led witch hunts and used force and threats to get compliance. In the end it was only when I, personally, had been repeatedly betrayed that I was prompted to take action.

Last week I received a call from the local Org ethics officer, informing me that I had been declared a suppressive person. No reason was given, I was not sent, or shown, or even read my SP declare. Such was my ignoble ending of church membership!

The trip started in 1980 in Bellevue, Washington. I had just moved to Washington and was looking for a job when I was stopped by an attractive gal in the street and asked to do a survey. This led to taking the personality test and signing up for the Communications Course.

Back then the course consisted of reading the definitions of basic scientology terms and then doing the Training Routines (TRs). I completed the course in a few weeks and was then signed up for an auditor training package at the mission.

In a few more months I completed the training and became a New Era Dianetics Auditor. I then went over to the local Scientology Org and did my internship and started the next training levels.

Things seemed pretty cool in Scientology, there were lots of young people, like me, and the idealism was up my alley. “To hell with the “authorities” let’s create a better world.” The concept of the reactive mind was very real and as I audited more people I could really see that there was a hope.

Andy at Clear Lake

In June 1981 I joined staff at Bellevue Mission. I was posted in Division 6 and was a body router, basic course supervisor and Div 6 registrar. I was good at doing test evaluations and started giving introductory lectures.

In 1982 the Bellevue Mission went completely off the rails and got into the de-dinging (a whack-o squirrel process), flowing power to those above us (meaning that staff were forced to do favors for those above us) and other Nazi-scientology stuff. We went whole-hog: the mission sold intensives of de-dinging, engaged in group crush-close regging and generally went crazy. I recall graduation events at the local org during this time period. A normal Friday night graduation would take an hour or so. But during the “de-dinging” era they took three hours! This was because you couldn’t stop clapping! No one wanted to be the first person to stop clapping because it would mean that you had some out-ethics…so when a speaker made a mention of how great LRH was we all started clapping, and clapping, and clapping…then we’d start to nervously look sideways at each other, each person secretly wanting to stop clapping, but no one wanting to be the first one to stop. Ah, the good old days…

Anyway, we (Bellevue Mission) languished for three (1982 to 1985) long years after this, and what pulled us out was the beginning of the consulting companies starting up and sending in public. Our old Mission Holder, Mike Chatelain, started to work for David Singer in 1985 (they opened a west coast office near by) and we started to get Chiropractors on lines. I became very active with the other WISE groups, Hollander, Latch and Sterling. I traveled all over the US and signed up their clients for mission services like Life Repair Auditing, some of my favorite time on staff in the US. The mission went from 1 and 2 First Service Starts a week to 10 and 12.

From my view the mid to late 1980’s were the time of greatest expansion of the Church. The Dianetics TV ads were going, there were new covers for the books and generally there was more acceptance of the Church. The future looked bright.

I became the Executive Director of the Mission (1987), did the complete Organization Executive Course, had two missions (Bellevue and Honolulu) and in 1990 found myself as the Executive Director of the Seattle Day Organization (during the Good Will Games).

Being an Org ED was a complete nightmare. The incessant stupid orders and three times daily phone calls, the endless computer generated non-compliance reports, the idiotic emphasis on getting people to the “events” and the complete lack of any effective Div 6 was awful. I found the Org environment much more robotic and stultified than the Mission network. In the missions we were more allowed to think and do what we thought was best to service people. In retrospect it wasn’t that we were actually “allowed” to do more, it was simply that no one could see what we were doing. We would often and with great happiness break the rules to provide unselfish service. I used to make a joke while working at the Org that they were “so standard that they were empty.” (Empty of public, that is)

Seattle Org had moved into a 28,000 sq. ft. building before the GW games ($18,000 a month rent) and since the entire Good Will Games were a complete dud, dissemination wise, the Org was broke.

I tried to route off Org staff (I was in debt up to my eyeballs), I asked for a Committee of Evidence, was denied, blew from LA, then I was told that I was going to get some justice action. While awaiting my beheading I got in comm with Greg Hughes (he was in International Management at the time), who I knew fromSterling, and he helped me escape and come back toSeattle. I routed off Org staff, worked for a few months to pay my debt to the Org and some other debts and went back on staff at Bellevue Mission in 1992.

I was in no hurry to get back on any management line and so became the Course Supervisor for a while. Being the Supervisor was by far the best staff position I ever held. By that time I was OT 5, OEC, KTL,LOC, and had done almost every course at the Org. I completed the Elementary Data Evaluators course, (actually I liked it so much I did it twice) and felt I had a good grasp of the basics by then.

Creating an expanding course room was easy; I discovered that the most vital tool was using ARC. If the students felt that you cared about them, their lives, their problems and were really there to HELP them then they came back. It was always a mystery to me that when I would send new staff for Course Supervisor training, either to Flag or LA that they would come back with some fascist attitude towards their students. They would return with some sort of “standard” fanaticism and order the students to use their demo kit or clear words, not really helping them, or personally caring, just acting like some sort of prison guards. In my view the idea being pushed was that being “standard” meant being tough, rough, rude, almost mean and it shocked me that people thought they could service the public (or other staff!) without loads of ARC. Especially new public.

In 1993 I was asked by SMI to go to Russia for a mission project, I was always interested to see for myself what Russia was really like, so I raised some money and went. I was there two weeks with 4 or 5 other mission holders. When I got on the plane to go back I just wanted to stay. The people there in Moscow and Saint Petersburg (both missions had about 8 staff at that time) were so intent on doing Dianetics and going clear and helping others it was very theta. I got back to my post at Bellevue Mission and decided to move to Russia. It took a while to get replaced and overcome the counter intention to my leaving staff, but in 1995 I moved there.

I was well known at Scientology Missions International (SMI), due to being a mission holder, and headed to LA to visitSMIINTand set up my duties with them before heading to Russia.

By the time I arrived back in Russia (October ’95) to live and work Moscow and St Pete had grown to large booming missions and I was reluctant to go inspect or advise them as I was worried that I would mess them up (and get in trouble). My reasoning was that they had built much larger missions than I ever had, so I didn’t feel that I should be ‘advising” them. I felt like I should be learning from them!

For the first year or so, I went out to outlying cities, Perm, Nizhny Tagil, Nizhny Novgorod, Vladivostock, Novosibirsk and many more places in Russia. I also visited new Dianetics Centers in Belorussia, Latvia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan and the Ukraine. I had a great time riding the train, staying with families, lecturing and helping to expand missions. Many of these missions had never had a Clear or OT or trained Scientologist come for a visit. My duties were to inspect the mission and help them in any way needed, train staff, observe and help them get in standard tech for servicing public. I went to more than 30 missions while I was there, (1995 to 1999) inspecting, correcting and lecturing.

With out a doubt it was the most fun I ever had in Scientology, nothing before or since compares. I was not around in the 1950’s when DMSMH was released, but have heard the stories, and Russia in the late 90’s seemed just like those stories. The overall excitement was awesome. Moscow and St Pete expanded to over 100 staff each, with huge successful Div 6/s. There were co-audits going on all the time and hundreds of auditors in the missions. The course rooms were filled and the place was buzzing with excited, optimistic people. The missions had very Spartan quarters, sometimes there were 10 auditing “rooms” squeezed into what would be 2 rooms here in the US. But MEST didn’t matter, they had big booming missions, there were tons of students, FSM’s, booksellers, it was all fun and exciting. My purpose in Scientology was revitalized. Somewhat ironically my time there also formed the basis for my waking up and (slowly!) seeing how psychotic things were and eventually leaving the church.

Later, in 1997 I was asked to do projects at Moscow. I recall doing an inspection there and on a Thursday morning was inspecting and noticed that no one was on post. I was like, “Well, where are all the staff?” I was told that they were on study, as they were every morning.

I was about to go pull all the staff off course and lecture them about on Thursday we DON’T study in the morning because that’s when we get the stats up, but caught myself and realized (not for the first time) the insanity of the stat push mentality. I had dozens of other epiphanies while at Moscow and later while at St Pete missions. It started to dawn on me that one major reason for all the expansion in Russia was that they didn’t have the whacko western Sea Org nut jobs there every minute looking over their shoulders, giving them stupid orders.

I was in St Petersburg for the Dianetics (May 9th) Event in 1998. The event was held at a huge auditorium, it held more than 1,000 people. The event started at 2pm, and lasted until 8 at night. There was food, music, performances, cakes, games, balloons, prizes, speeches, and lots of fun. And this was all before the “official” event, where the DVD of the actual May 9th event was played for the public. The place was packed. No one wanted to leave early, or escape. It was night and day different from events back in the US. Can you even imagine an event in the USA where 1,000 people attended? Anyway, I was there in St Pete doing a project for SMI and it so happened that there were several Sea Org Execs there, from LA. They came to the event and were shocked. I was sitting right behind them and could hear them speaking to each other, they were aghast that the event was so long, that there were children singing, that a rock band played, they thought that this was disrespectful to LRH. They didn’t like the games or the prizes or poetry reading…(the Russian people LOVED all of this) The Sea Org Execs all thought this “fun” stuff was off purpose and not okay. The event ended with the showing of a brand new LRH film, “The Evolution of a Science”. I still recall the playing of the movie, to this day…the movie sucked! It was supposed to be for new people, but was all about psychiatry and shock therapy, it was a stupid film for new people. The Russian people were shocked and dismayed by it. Here they were having a fun party and now here is this horrid film, a real turd in the punch bowl! The Sea Org people all tried to look proud of the film, while the Russians made their displeasure known… the general consensus of the brainwashed execs was that the translation of the movie must have been poor…

By this time, after 17 years of being on staff, I had seen and experienced many countless examples of stupidity, injustice and misapplication of any rational management technology, but always wrote it off as some middle management virus. I had this idea that the guys at the top (DM and Int. Mgt.) were super cool, smart, and that they just didn’t know how whacko the middle management nut jobs were. I couldSEEthe out-points but I could not confront what they meant, wasn’t willing to follow the thought to its only logical end.

Another interesting thing was that as I stayed more and more in Moscow and St Pete in 1998 and 1999 advising the missions and lecturing I was always under pressure to study more LRH for lecture material. I read and re read all of the LRH books many times including “History of Man”. And I recall a section in that book where LRH describes a space opera society where the citizens were so indoctrinated that if one of them even had a bad thought that they would immediately turn them selves into the nearest police station.

This really hit me. I had had so many sec checks by then, for OT levels, for this and for that, so many “ethics cycles” (which of course were NOT Ethics cycles, but justice cycles in disguise) that I was stunned. I could plainly see that I was indoctrinated just like LRH described in HOM. This was a horrible idea to me because I “knew” we were freeing people, not enslaving them. Yet I could see that I was behaving like one of these implanted “citizens”. I wondered if it wasn’t just something wrong with me. I couldn’t really come to grips with it, so I just shelved it, and went on.

While I was in Russia I was sent to other countries for projects, I went to India twice to help establish missions, once to Bombay (SMIsent me there, to work with Helmut Flasch), twice to Patiala, I was also sent bySMIto Japan (to work on the Shinto project).

I was in Moscow Mission from the summer of 1997 until the end of the birthday game in 1998. Moscow Mission won the game that year (for the first time). I still have all their b-day stat graphs from then. They were doing 150 to 200 first service starts a week, 1200 to 1700 NBSTI Raw (Number of Books Sold to New People) a week and the rest of the stats there were commensurate with those Division 6 statistics. As a side note I spoke to the Moscow Org ED in September, 2010. He was in LA for some cycle and called me. His name is Anton and he was the Tech Sec when I was there in 1998. He said that they were getting around 7 first service starts a week at that time.

In March 1998SMIsent my wife and I to Fiji on a mission with Manu Tupou and Jean Harness. We opened a new mission there, recruited staff and sent them to ANZO for training. In the fall of 1998 I was also sent by the IAS to open up a Mission in the country of Burkina Faso, in West Africa.

While I was working as a pioneer, or missionary, I was awarded as a PowerFSMtwice, and as an EliteFSMtwo times, I was in fact never anFSMand never put inFSMslips on anyone while doing this work over seas.

My first award for my activities as a pioneer came in December of 1995. I was at theOTL(Sea Org Base) inMoscowand got a call fromSMIINT. Apparently there were quite a few, 10 to 20 Russian people who were FSMs and had gotten in 100 or more new people to start their first services, and they were all hoping to go to LA for the NY event. But none of them could get visas. Of course, the reason they didn’t get visas was that no one had the foresight to start the visa application process until mid-way through December, and by then it was a “hill 10” to get bodies on stage for the New Years Event.

So,SMItold my wife and me that we should come to LA and get awarded! Of course the people I spoke to atSMI, Beate Gordon and Claire Gaiman knew exactly what we had been doing, they knew we were not FSMs and had not selected anyone in, but no matter, we could come and go on stage, and we didn’t need visas! So, they bought us tickets and had us come, we were provided a place to stay. To us it was like a free (warm weather!) vacation! My wife was awarded as a powerFSMand I was awarded as an eliteFSM.

My system of pay (as worked out by Chief Officer SMIInt) was that I would go to the missions primarily to train and correct staff, and that the project financing would come from lectures. I would give lectures to the public, the mission would charge a small fee for each lecture and I would get half of the money, the mission keeping the other half. So even though I was never an FSMI was on stage. Usually I would arrive to LA a few days before the event and be given a hat of helping push other people living in LA to become power FSMs so there would be more bodies on stage. I have lots of insane stories about all of that. The last event where I was given some award was the 2000 May 9th Dianetics event where I was awarded as a top international pioneer.

As a side note about awards and the sheer insanity of them, one of the Russians I was close to was Vladimir Kiropatnik. He was the original ED of Moscow Mission. I met him when I was first there in 1993. He was a very theta and dedicated guy and worked hard to expand the Mission. In 1997 Vladimir was awarded the IAS Freedom Medal, at the event they portrayed him as the single person who opened up all of Russia to Scientology and saved the country. The PR was so over the top! I know that Vladimir was upset over how they grossly overstated what he had done. Actually this set him up for criticism from others, as many thought that he was the one who made up the lies. I was close to him and I know it was quite a PTP for him. Later when the Executive Director of Saint Petersburg Mission won the same award (Galina Petrovna) they did the same thing. It was the same with anyone and everyone I personally knew, they would over sell, exaggerate and even outright lie about the accomplishments to make them sound incredible. From my direct experience, both Vladimir and Galina definitely deserved the Freedom Medal awards. They are both incredibly hardworking and dedicated people. But the point is, why lie and exaggerate their accomplishments? Just telling the truth would have been perfectly fine. The fact of lying about the accomplishments of these people is illustrative of the entire current church management. Of course nothing beats the absurd lies they made for Tom Cruise when he won his IAS award…I recall it was an award for introducing more than a billion people to Scientology.

As I discovered at a much later time receiving these awards may have been one of the main reasons that I wound up leaving the church.

I returned toRussiain Jan 1999 and I went back to work forSMIdoing the usual. I began to get antsy about going up the bridge and wanted to get on OT 7 so I decided to start working as a WISE consultant. I worked about 7 months as a consultant inSt Petersburg, paid for OT 6, OT 7 and 10 intensives and arrived at Flag in Dec. 1999.

My plan was that I would use one or two intensives on eligibility and set ups and then have lots of intensives left over for future 6-month checks, I would be back out pioneering and be on OT 7!

But what came next was a completely horrible nightmare.

I wound up using 13 intensives of auditing, almost all of it on security checking. I cannot describe in email format how utterly awful it all was. It was unjust, demeaning, stupid, introverting and actually made me feel like I was psychotic. As I look back, I felt a sort of desperate feeling, slightly propitiative, wanting to throw my self at the feet of someone and beg forgiveness. A down tone “need to show that I’m valuable to the group” attitude and underlying this was the basic concept of “I am bad”.

I hated the auditing, but couldn’t complain because you can’t complain while you’re on a sec check unless you want it to take longer. I tried to act happy and get it done. Somehow by some miracle I was able to get my needle to float and get done. Then I pleaded that I was broke and owed money and I was allowed to leave.

This was the first time I was at an Advanced Org as a public person. I spent a lot of time in the MAA office (as a result of all the Knowledge Reports from 9 intensives of security checking). I was appalled at what went on. A day down there included lots of nervous waiting to even get in to see the MAA. Then they would review the KR’s from your sessions and assign you conditions. It was NOT a self-determined action. I tried several times to say that I didn’t think I needed to do ANY conditions for my overts, but was ordered to do so. I pointed out many times that this entire process was NOT an ethics action, but a justice action. But the deal was: Do it our way, or you’ll never get on the OT levels and go free. I saw person after person there in the MAA’s office doing lowers and amends for such stupid things as reading a site on the internet, or looking at “pornography” or masturbating. The idea that was being enforced by the MAA’s was that these actions were severely out-ethics and could bring disrepute to Scientology. I argued that labeling these actions as wrong or in any way out-ethics was itself very wrong and out ethics, as doing so would only drive in a persons anchor points. But all that I accomplished with my arguing these points was the certainty on the part of the MAA that I needed MORE security checking.

I was on the OT 6 meter drills when I left and knew I would never return. I felt that there was something definitely wrong with the auditing, but also had some idea that it was me that was nuts. I knew I liked helping people and so just wanted to go back and get busy.

From there things were a bit unsettled. I had planned to go back to Russia but was denied a visa. I discovered later that I had been blacklisted by the Russian FSB (state security agency) along with several other foreigners who had been invited to Russia by Scientology, like Malcolm McClintock, Lynn Irons and others. So, I was not allowed to return. I wound up moving to Nice, France for 6 months in late 2000, then on to Pavlodar, Kazakhstan where I worked as a WISE consultant for 9 months, then on to Copenhagen for 8 months. All the time trying to get back toRussia.

The more I was on WISE lines I noticed that things went worse for me. It seemed that as long as I was basically volunteering my time (as a Mission or Org staff member or full time pioneer) to help expand missions I was alright. I was still looked down on as I wasn’t Sea Org, but sort of barely accepted. Having been staff many years I was familiar with the pecking order, and understood how it all worked.

But now that I was mostly working in the WISE sector I was considered more of a public and less of a staff member. I could sense a change. I started to feel like a farm animal, people were eye-balling me for what they could get from me, could I be an income cycle, could I be student points, could I donate money to IAS? I was ordered to events, to ethics interviews, ordered to be on course. As a WISE consultant here were quotas for the number of our clients that were sent into a local Org orMissionfor services. There was a tacit threat over my head; if I didn’t comply with the above requirements then I would be in danger of losing my license and ability to deliver WISE courses and consulting.

I wanted to get out of consulting and I wound up going to the NYC area in 2001 (where I am from originally) to work. I had two jobs; one wasCOOof a company in NJ with several interesting patents we were trying to get going. As that company was getting just started I needed more pay and started to work as a consultant again in the WISE sector.

In 2002 I got an 11 page KR written on me by Walter Kotric (CO CLO EU). He accused me of every crime under the sun and said that I was never allowed back on his continent. I sent back a more or less fuck you response and asked for a Committee of Evidence. Nothing happened. Every product I had achieved was attacked.

One might think it strange that a person who was routinely honored by Int. Management each year would be attacked. But in truth the awardees on stage at the Int Events had routinely had their production stats puffed up (NOT by the person, but by the management terminals!) to look stellar. There was no real recognition from Int Management of having DONE anything really good, we were all just statistics, bodies gotten on stage, part of the PR for the church.

Interestingly I had heard from 2 people, Barb Wiseman (a pioneer in Russia in the early 1990’s) and Malcolm McClintock (he ran the Sea Org Base in Moscow in early 2000) that Walter Kotric HATED any Scientologists who went Pioneering “on his Continent”. Barbara told me that Walter went out of his way to attack her when she was awarded as a Power FSM for her work there in 1993, an award that she NEVER asked for.

In April of 2003 I received a phone call and ordered by WISE International to report to LA. No reason, just come,NOW. I arrived and met two other Russian Pioneers there, Bud Reichle and Lynn Irons. We went to the Scientology Headquarters on Hollywood Boulevard and met with some high up woman in OSA (Judith?) and a guy by the name of Dan Brown. They explained that we were all called there because of our involvement in Russia. They told us that currently there was trouble in Russia and that the plan was to do ethics cycles on us three, sort of to destimulate the area from afar. I was shown some reference from the Suppressed Person Rundown. The idea was that if we three did an ethics cycle, related to tour work inRussia, the result would be a bettering of the overall conditions of Scientology inRussia. It was sort of like: Currently Scientology in Russia is under attack, and if you three write up your overts and come clean then the conditions over there will improve.

As I began to get in comm., the report written on me by Walter Kotric came up, and then a cycle fromKazakhstan.

I had visited Kazakhstan several times in the late 1990’s and at that time met a local scientologist named Bolat Agzamovich. Bolat was working in the oil industry, but had later gotten into politics and had become the deputy governor of his region.

In late 2000 while I was still in Nice, France, I was personally invited to move to Pavlodar, Kazakhstan by the CO WISE CIS, Vladmir Kiropatnik. Bolat had been the deputy governor of his region for sometime; he had communication lines with the leaders of industry all over the country. The idea was that I would move there, work with Bolat, establish a WISE presence, consulting these businesses and maybe start aHubbardCollege.

Bolat had been donating HUGE sums of money to the church to aid expansion. He had donated hundreds of thousand of dollars to start a whole pile of Missions, Narconons, Applied Scholastics groups all acrossKazakhstan. He was quite famous for this.

I saw the annual IAS Event in October of 2000. There was direct mention of expansion of Scientology inKazakhstan, specifically mentioning the opening of the many new groups and also a report that the President of Kazakhstan had officially welcomed Scientology to the country!

This sounded like what I was waiting for and I packed up and moved there in December, 2000. When I actually arrived inPavlodar, Bolat was inCopenhagenfor auditing, he arrived home a week later and announced that he had decided to quit his government post! This was a surprise!

He took over a transportation (tram) company owned by the state and I went to work for him. I worked with him in the Tram company and we had a blast, it was a huge success.

As a side note after my arrival in Kazakhstan I excitedly asked the staff and public about the report that President Nazarbayev had proclaimed an official welcome to Scientology. Well, none of the people there had heard such a thing. I had several people directly contact the government to query this, and we discovered that this reported acknowledgement of Scientology had never taken place.

While I was there I heard some allegations that Bolat had accepted bribes while he had been deputy governor. I was close to him and asked him a few times about this and he said no, he didn’t, so I left it alone. I left Pavlodar in the summer of 2000 and moved to Copenhagen.

What had precipitated being ordered to Los Angeles was that Bolat had been to Copenhagen some time in 2001/2002 and confessed in some sec check that he had in factALLof the money he had donated to the church, forALLthe mission starter packages and Narconons, applied scholastics, etc, all of it, was money he had received as payments for his services while deputy governor. From what I could understand, Bolat finally relented and confessed that all the money he donated to the church came from the bribes he received while Deputy Governor.

This came out right around the Reed Slatkin Ponzi scheme scandal, and so there was a real hornet’s nest over this. I thought it was all a hoot, and I asked if the church was going to refund all the money so Bolat could give it back. My two interrogators failed to see the humor in any of this. .

I was surprised by all this and I pointed out that if anyone cared to look at any facts like dates of when he took the “bribes”, the dates in my passport, etc, it was easy to see that I was never physically IN Kazakhstan when Bolat “took the bribes” but no matter. Logic had no merit. I asked how I could have stopped him from taking bribes if I wasn’t in the country. I was told that I “should have known” and done something. I felt trapped. If I wanted to keep consulting and making money, I had to do it. My choices were to walk out of Scientology right then, or just bend over and do it.

So I did. I fudged my way through it and told everyone what they wanted to hear. I prayed my needle would float at the right time and that no one would suspect that I fucking hated them and that I was on my way out.

I went back to New Jersey in a state of shock. All my stable datum’s busted. From my experiences as a Mission Holder and Org ED with the admin tech I could see that its “use” was making things worse world wide, not better. From my last trip to Flag I could see that the tech was not working. And that it was in fact being used to control people. From my travels I knew that all the hype and PR reported by management was utter bullshit. And now it was crystal clear that the application of ethics and justice tech was beyond gone.

When I got back home I talked my wife into moving with me to Washington State. Just leaving and moving was in itself a form of escape. I felt like I was escaping from a prison, I didn’t let anyone know where I was going. After 24 years of having to report where I was to someone in the church, I was free (sort of).

For many years, from 2000 to 2004 I spoke to no one about my doubts and disagreements. During those years I knew things were bad and I wanted out, but dared not communicate about it. From 2004 until 2008 I had one friend who was ahead of me on the path out who listened as I itsa-ed and to whom I could speak freely. I communicated my feelings, doubts, self invalidations and slowly the fog lifted. I was so indoctrinated with the idea that I must have my own overts and that to have pulled in this bad shit I must have somehow caused it. But as I destimulated I could reason better and evaluate what I had seen. The overall stats of Scientology are down, and have been for a long time. As stats are the measure, then the management must be bad. I personally saw many lies from management about how great things were when they weren’t. I realized that things were bad. I realized that my stable datum that the guys at the top were smart and cool must be way off.

When I lived inRussiaI once heard an Old Russian proverb: “The fish rots from the head.” Of course that datum lined up with all my observations. The bad shit wasn’t a mistake, it was planned. The middle management guys weren’t just nut cases; they were just pushing down the line the shit that came from the top. That datum really aligned so well with what I had personally seen that I knew it must be the truth.

In 2009 I saw the blog “Counterfeit Dreams” by Jeff Hawkins. I read the whole thing. It blew so much charge for me, reading the details of what happened behind the scenes, getting a real view of what things were like. Jeff is such a great writer and what he describes has real impact. It never made any sense to me, why were the DMSMH question ads ended, why was there no new effective ad campaign, how could leadership be so stupid and not see that without a great marketing plan the church would start cannibalizing the public?

Once the held-down 7’s were handled and I could really LOOK it was easy to see WHY Scientology had horrible PR and WHY it was contracting.

I am more than slightly embarrassed that it took me so long to wake the fuck up!!!

Scientology is supposed to be about LOOKING and evaluating for oneself, becoming more causative, it’s about COMMUNICATION, helping others and building a better world.

But the current “church” is all about NOT looking, NOT communicating; now it’s about not THINKING! A current church member is told what to think, what to say, who they can and cannot communicate with. Its NOT about self-determinism, it’s about being a robot.

The current “church” is really like an insane doctor cutting out the “cancerous” body parts to get rid of illness. Those Scientologists who dare to think for themselves are purged, expelled, declared suppressive.

But the church has taken this to a new level of insanity: now it’s the cancer running the church seeking to amputate, cut out, expel, the healthy tissue!  Soon there will be nothing and no one left in the corporate church of scientology besides cancer tissue!

Last weeks phone conversation and news of being declared a suppressive person came as no surprise.  It was more like the final process of a grade in auditing, you come to the end and someone asks you “Would you like others to have the gains that you now have?”

And my answer is, Yes! I am happy for what I got out of Scientology and I am very happy to be free from the madness of what Corporate Scientology has beccome.

One of the steps I took to rehabilitate the wins I had with the tech was going in session. I found a great auditor, out here in the Independent Field and (with trepidations) signed up to get a review. Part of the auditing program was to handle any by-passed charge I had related to past auditing I received in the corporate church. I recall the question: “Were you audited while you were under stress?” I laughed and cried and swore my head off answering that question! Was I audited while under stress????? HA!!!! When wasn’t I under stress? Let’s see: there’s the stress of paying the money (or rather borrowing it and worrying about being able to re-pay it) there’s the stress of worrying what will happen when you’re sent to see the Ethics Officer; the stress of losing your post, or not being allowed to take the next step on the Bridge, the worry of being expelled if you disagree. I was worried before I even went to Flag for auditing: scrutinizing my every action wondering if “it would come up” on my sec check and get me sent to the Ethics Officer!!! I realized that ALL of my auditing in recent years in the “church” was all done over heavy stress. I was PTS to the Church!!! Needless to say, handling this was a HUGE relief.

Now my life is full of fun and creation. I have taken back up my dual passions of backpacking and photography. I have a fantastic wife and we have a seven year old son. Life is good.

And some day I hope to head back out on the dissemination trail…

Signed,

Scientology Order or Disorder?

Scientology Inc Creating Independents

From HCO Policy Letter 7 September 1963:

There can be no personal security without easily accessible, swift and fair justice within a group.  The jurisprudence employed must be competent, acceptable to the members of the group and effective in accomplishing good order for the group and personal rights and security for its individual members.

Justice used for revenge, securing advantages for a clique, increases disorder.

Justice should serve as a means of establishing guilt or innocence and awarding damages to the injured.  The fact of its use should not preestablish guilt or award.  Justice which by its employment alone establishes an atmosphere of guilt or greed is harmful and creates disorder.

Justice should clarify.  Good justice in effect runs out group engrams.  Bad justice runs them in.

I have been working for some time on a system of justice acceptable to Scientologists and have evolved one in “Committees of Evidence.”  These work excellently by actual test and satisfy the requirements of justice.

I require that full use be made of these committees at once in all matters relating to Scientology organizations, groups and concerns.

I do not recommend that individuals in authority act in disciplinary measures or capacities without employing Committees of Evidence.

– L Ron Hubbard, Founder

The following occurred yesterday at the Mecca of Corporate Scientology.  It is typical of what has been happening just about every day at the ‘friendliest place in the world’ for the past several years.

My name is Uwe Stern, I am German and I am what you would call a pretty normal Scientology parishioner. I joined SCN in 1987.

I did not do much major courses, just the old HQS and a student hat (twice because of GAT) and got audited to Clear. I was a staff member at a Munich Mission (Scientology Mission of Nymphenburg) from 1989 to 1999, this mission is now  closed down because of financial irregs caused by a) the finance police and b) a corrupt mission holder afterwards (long story spare me the details). I was on staff for that mission for 10 years as a Treasury Director (I know, not very exciting, but someone has to do it and I am a number cruncher). I never was much interested in a technical post, admin is more my thing. During this time I had my share of weird management decisions of the church, handlings of the tax offices of Germany and OSA, the latter on a nearly daily basis.

Then I was posted for 2.5 yrs as Treasury Director at Munich Org finalizing 7 balance sheets under heavy (INT) pressure.

Because I also was on the board of the Mission Nymphenburg and per legal law of Germany the Board Members can be hold responsible for financial irregs and the Church did not move fast enough to really protect us, I decided to move to the US, my country of choice anyway (long story too) and arrived with my family (wife and daughter) in Clearwater in 2002.

Uwe Stern

Long story short, because of lack of funds we never really took any major steps on the bridge since. End of 2010 I found out about the weird stuff going on in the church. Not that I had no hints before that. Like being denied to leave the parking lot at Ruth Eckard Hall after the 2007 release of the basics event (buy or die, I nearly ran the car over that SO member stopping us). Or like seeing the flashy stats ALWAYS going up (no stat is always going up) on events I attended. Or like ……

But it still came as a surprise! How could I NOT have seen this earlier. Dumbass me.

This was followed by a 2 month full time research and ended with me quietly resigning from the Church. Of course there my marriage went, as I was not able to bring my then wife to see it too.

Fast forward to PT. I got a call from the Chief Student MAA of the coachmen. I was seen with an SP, Angela LeMay, at Starbucks. The MAA said someone had written a report. Me asking why I don’t have a copy of that report the MAA paddled back, saying it was a Things That Should Not Be report because the person reporting did not know for sure if I was how I am. Crap, she knows me very well, right  Desiree Lutz? (Ohh, that’s how it is done, label it TTSNB report so you don’t have to send a copy, laughable). I asked to see the declare and we made an appointment to meet the same day (did only wait for 10 mins, that’s a record).

I asked the MAA to show me the declare, which he did. On my question to get a copy the answer was “It is church property”, me asking if I can take a picture of it, same answer : no., no copy. The accusations in this declare were very vague. Just, she is connect to a squirrel group and ensnarled another church member with entheta (not the wording used, out of mind).

Me asking the MAA if she got a copy, him saying that he thinks she got one. I then confronting him with the fact she did not; it ending with him uttering something like “that should then be reported”. Me forgetting then to say that she probably did not get one as it is Church property.

Anyway, I also asked to see the report on me, never got to see it.

Now the juicy part. Me asking to see the comm Ev held on Angela, him answering that he does not have it nor has he seen it. Me then asking why she did not get one or at LEAST a phone call before hand. To which he had nothing to say. Me then confronting him with the fact that she knows about the report from facebook and that that would be a case of libeling; he could only utter “that should be reported”.

I then compared this to the Third Reich where there were “Blockwarts” (people assigned to a block to watch what other say and do to turn them in to the Gestapo).

He then wanted to know who enlighted me to the “dark” side (In fact I find it lighter) I just replied,  “I look and don’t listen.” Like reading the freedom mag from 2009 and the St. Petersburg Times and coming to the conclusion that the only thing both sides come to agree to is that there were beatings going on in the upper management of the church for ten years. I mean, if that would be any other corporation they would fire BOTH sides and control the damage and this Church is doing nothing for 10 years? Another reason for me I told him is the fact that the parishioners should spend their money on the bridge not on real estate. All comes down to the fact that the church does NOT live by it’s own policies.

Since I was not in the church for over 1year, I told him so. He then showed me the Suppressive Acts Policy on my question what would happen now to me. Saying that I could talk to everybody but that the policies would cover what would happen then. Which means there will be a Golden Rod issued on me as I am not disconnecting from anybody that I don’t see fit, That Golden Rod I probably never get to see. He also said I would by leaving the church and not be protected by policy. I can fortify that easily if policy obviously is not lived by the church.

I don’t regret my time within the fold, there were fun times too. I don’t know if I will continue with any Scientology services, but I have to say there is specifically at the lower end of the bridge a lot of truth for me in it. I am still operating on all the finance policies I studied. And, I will certainly not be doing ANY services in this organization.

Right now I am more into living life and enjoying life than anything else. Things I could not do previously because of lack of funds.

And I hope the Church as it is presenting itself now will die soon. The Tech should live on in the hands of the independents and made available to everybody who wants to use it for a fair exchange. But, I might not be part of that.

If you want to contact me you will find me on facebook or email me at uwe@mrwebwiz.com

Scientology Inc Creating Independents

Scientology Disconnect and Facebook Nazis

Opinion Leader Cyber-Lynching by Scientology Inc

Here is the latest from Angela LeMay in Clearwater.   Scientology Inc is actively creating Independents by the minute.
Marty,

Earlier today my housemate was called by the MAA regarding a report
that he was seen downtown(Clearwater)with a declared SP – me.

The MAA was seeking agreement that he would just disconnect from me
as a result of the phone call, but instead my housemate demanded a
meeting to see the Golden Rod.

My housemate said the issue stated I was declared for en-snarling
another Scientologist in entheta and being a member of a squirrel
group but when asked the MAA had no other specifics.

My housemate informed the MAA that I wasn’t aware of the declare
and asked if a Comm Ev had been convened, the MAA didn’t know and
said a Comm Ev didn’t have to be done as I had committed
suppressive acts.

As I did not join a squirrel group and as far as en-snarling
another Scientologist in entheta – I hadn’t a clue who???.
At first, I thought this all came about due to my refusal to
disconnect from “Declared Sp’s” on FB and the Church just wanted to
put a head on a spike and mine would do nicely.

Then I realized, wait a minute… for the last 24 years, I WAS part
of a suppressive, en-snarling, squirrel group called:
the Church of Scientology – led and being run a ground by one David
Miscavige.

I have come to my senses and have recanted. I am no longer a part
of or support that group of mis-guided individuals who blindly
support and robotically practice injustice, out-tech, off policy,
crush regging, glutz PR, suppressive acts, etc…
More of my story to come… and my housemate is typing his
announcement this very moment…stay tuned.

Opinion Leader Cyber-Lynching by Scientology Inc

The insanity that Scientology Inc has become is playing out LIVE on the internet.  Angela LeMay, an Opinion Leader that corporate Scientology should not be messing with, is being subjected to a modern-day, cyber-lynching by David “Bull” Miscavige, cyber-mobs and all.  Check it out below. We’ll keep you posted.

Here is Angela’s communication alerting me to the situation:

Marty & Mike,

FYI, I received notice from a friend on FB that they received a
call from OSA informing them that I have been Declared SP along
with Marsha Friedman and Guillermo Colin and to unfriend us all.

I have not heard anything at all from the church directly, but,
rumor has it that I have been declared because of my connection to
my ex-husband Brett Haugen – declared in 2010. Another friend said
they heard it was because I had posted anonymously on a squirrel
website and forwarded entheta comm. My friends list has decreased
by 300 in the last 72 hours – their loss.

I have attached images of one of the FB post stating that I am
declared.

Also, I have saved images of numerous other similar FB messages
over the past 2 years urging me to disconnect from “SP’s” on FB.
Let me know if you would like those as well.

Your Friend,

Angela

For those who do not know why I consider Angela an Opinion Leader, her imminent declaration of independence will make that clear – or least my introductory comments will.

Scientology Disconnect & Facebook Nazis

Scientology Inc has denied that they are behind any disconnections that its parishioners may wish to participate in.  They say the latter are only engaging in the protected, voluntarily activity of exercising their religious right to “shun.”   They contend in court and in the media that Corporate Scientology has nothing to do with the process and does not advise nor participate in advising, let alone ordering, anyone to disconnect from anyone.

Hi again,Did you get my last email? I thought it might have bounced.I wasn’t sure if you were aware of it or not so I thought I would alert you. But you have a declared SP currently on your facebook account. Her name is Debbie Jean Cook. If you want to remove her and need any help getting her off your facebook account don’t hesitate to ask. Just email me back and I will assist you on this.ARC, Veronique

An Idle Scientology Org Story

One of the problems for Miscavige with the Independent Scientology movement is our persistence.   Massive black propaganda campaigns, phalanxes of private investigators, lawsuits, Facebook Nazis, buying off the Federal Bureau of Investigation, you name it – Miscavige has tried it.  But, we keep on thriving and expanding.  And with that the truth continues to out and becomes corroborated, and thus more and more credible.  Today’s post is a case in point.

Newcomers may not have seen Dan Koon’s article from August 2009 on Steve Hall’s Scientology-cult.com, Thoughts on the Ideal Org Program.   Dan had the opportunity to drop in on David Miscavige’s then-latest fraud, the Malmo Sweden Idle Org.  Dan, with his decades of experience with LRH, Int Management and David Miscavige was able to divine that there was no intent to deliver Scientology services in Malmo by just a short, aborted tour of the place.

Of course, Miscavige counting on it just “going away”, put a couple of nasty, defamatory publications out on Dan and carried on with the fraud across the world.

Now, meet Phil Bruemmer, former Malmo Idle Org staff member.  Phil shines the light on what was going on inside from Malmo’s opening up to the present.  As you will see Dan was right.  Though, I have always contended he gave Miscavige far too much credit for speculating it was all a real estate scam.  It is a scam.  The level of fraud that Phil reveals is astounding.

Welcome Phil.  And thank you for shining the light of truth.

An Idle Org Story

by Phil Bruemmer

My name is Phil Bruemmer.

I have been a Scientologist since 1971.

I am a “new OT IV”, Class VI C/S and an OEC/FEBC grad.

I am also a course supervisor, professional word clearer and trained Cramming Officer.

Posts I have held include, Director of Communications, HCO Cope Officer, Basic Courses Supervisor (that’s Basic Courses Supervisor – NOT Basics Courses Supervisor.) I ran the Comm Course and HQS, before they were suppressed out of existence), Word Clearer, Cramming Officer and Executive Director.

That was all in San Francisco Org.

I held the post of Senior C/S, and later, auditor in Stockholm.

Around 2004 I went off staff and audited in the field under the “control” of I HELP for a few years, during which time paid I HELP to annoy me.

I went on back on staff to be the Senior C/S of the soon to open “Ideal Org” in Malmö in April 2009.

I left Malmö in August and sent a farewell letter to IJC, CJC and RTC (the Justice Chiefs as I was under comm ev). Below is the comm which I sent in while waiting (& waiting, & waiting…) for the Findings and Recommendations:

Re: The Church of Scientology

My name is Phil Bruemmer.

I have been a Scientologist since 1970 and most of that time I have been staff.

I am a Class VI C/S (mostly non-GAT), OEC/FEBC, MCSC (1978) interned, PWCC and Cramming Officer

Some posts that I have held throughout my staff career are:

External Comm Flow Officer, Internal Comm Flow Officer, Dir Comm, HCO Cope Off and HAS, Basic Courses Supervisor (HAS course/HQS course), Word Clearer, ED, Cram Off, auditor, C/S and Snr C/S.

On 11 October 2011 I had a committee of Evidence, which was held on me at CLO EU. It is now 17 December and I have not had any word on the findings and recommendations.

This is too bad as I had wanted to let the cycle complete. However, I am disinclined to wait any longer.

The”church” in its present state has departed so far from the church that I joined as to be unrecognizable.

The Technology and the Administrative technology have been altered beyond workability in some cases or the misapplication renders it mostly unworkable.

The altered material which is called, “The Basics” is one example of this. The training of GAT auditors who robotically learn and who “audit” over their own out basics is another. I can’t believe any of them, or their C/Ses, Supervisors or Cram Offs, ever bothered to listen to or duplicate the LRH lectures on Level 0. It seems this would apply as well to the members of the RTC who pass final videos.

I personally experienced some of the out-tech being run on OTs at AOSH EU within the past year (running NED on Clears, squirrel sec checking). From research I have done since, I have come to the conclusion that this sort of squirrel tech is practiced throughout the world in the “church.”

I have also become aware of an inordinate number of persons on, or completed on, OT VII/VIII who have lost their bodies due to cancer.

In 1989 I lost a wife to cancer. She was a Class VIII C/S who was bogged on VII for years. Apparently, there was no tech to debug her (or no one cared) and she later got cancer, suffered for a number of years and finally dropped the body.

There were some others who got cancer at that time and I have recently learned there have been many more, even in recent times. It makes it seem the tech not only does not work, but that its unworkability is extremely hazardous.

I do not believe for one moment that LRH would release a tech which was so dangerous. I can only conclude that the original LRH materials were altered.

Currently the training of auditors is a non-existent activity – with the exception of a few know-best GAT robots that are being trained in the squirrel technology of the Chairman of the Board RTC. These robots train and then intern through auditing other robots on the training lineup. When they hit an HGC they are totally unprepared to audit public, particularly public treated to 20 years of out tech who now expect Miscavige brand “Scientology” tech to salvage them.

I am not going into detail on the quickie Grades being delivered at Flag at this time and the fact that lower Grade Chart actions should be delivered in the orgs (maybe the orgs can’t be depended upon to quickie them fast enough to suit the SP who is running this show).

Much to my embarrassment, I let myself get sucked in to helping to open the “Ideal Org” in Malmo. I watched the 4 man CMO Int Mission putting the org there. I can say it was a bunch of squirrel know-best that got the result of no org.

None of these Missionaires had done an OEC, much less the FEBC. I remember well the scorn and derision leveled towards the subject of the OEC (has to be recompiled by COB) and the FEBC. I shouldn’t have to point out the degrade of LRH admin tech. I learned that the FEBC is no longer being used to train execs.

I’ve seen the new “admin tech” that is being used and there is no tech in the new tech.

After 3 years the SO has had to move into this “Ideal Org” where a number of SO members are working to keep it going. There are CLO staff as ED, HAS and at least 3 SO full time on recruitment. There might be others now. From what I’ve seen none of them are OEC/FEBC. Even if they are, they won’t be allowed to do what Ron says as their seniors in the Ideal Org Unit won’t allow it. Applying correct source is not popular in the church these days.

What I see is going on is that the Church of Scientology has been taken over by persons of ill-will who are altering the technologies of Dianetics and Scientology for their own purposes. Either that or they are extremely stupid and can’t study or duplicate source. Or both.

I see a denigration of Source as a standard operating basis by such persons.

I see misrepresentation of Dianetics and Scientology.

Where was the vaunted Religious Technology Center which is stated to “exist to ensure the purity of the Scientology religion” when all this suppressive alteration was occurring?

The purpose of RTC is said to be; “to ensure that the religious technologies of Dianetics and Scientology remain in proper hands and are properly applied”.

Yet, stated purpose notwithstanding, RTC has enforced the study and application of squirrel technologies in Scientology.

My last “hope” as a staff member was that the COB would wake up to what was being done under him and take steps to remedy the situation. Well, that was the last bit of theetie-wheetie in my universe. I came to the realization that the situation is exactly what the COB has ordered.

All of these squirrel “Ideal Orgs” are COB orgs.

They are David Miscavige orgs.

Well, COB RTC, is NOT Source.

COB RTC is not even a trained auditor. He never made a Clear in his life (or a release for that matter).

He is not a trained administrator.

The proof is in the pudding.

I joined up to help LRH clear the peoples of planet earth. I did not join up to help some SP destroy Scientology.

I won’t dwell here the extreme bad PR which the church has at this time, or the fact that the OT levels are available to anyone who wants to read them, complete with misunderstoods and out of context out gradients.

This all occurred under the watch of the Chairman of the Board and the Religious Technology Center.

The Church, under David Miscavige and the RTC, has become a suppressive group, by definition:

SUPPRESSIVE GROUPS, are defined as those which seek to destroy Scn or which specialize in injuring or killing persons or damaging their cases or which advocate suppression of mankind.”

That is straight out of the Technical dictionary.

I am not a member of that group.

I am a Scientologist.

Phil Bruemmer

I guess my comm was a bit wishy-washy because, instead of declaring me, I got this email from the Cont Justice Chief:

12/22/2011
Cont Justice Chief Europe
*To Phil Bruemmer
Dear Phil,
I  have been in receipt of your letter today and I also learned that
you  have not yet been in comm with the Chief Public MAA, despite her sending  you several e-mails and the fact that I mentioned it to you in my  e-mail 3 days ago.
However, I sent you personally a copy of the Findings and Recommendations of your Comm Ev, along with a letter, today. Though I sent it in Prioritaire, due to the X-mas week-end, you might receive
it only on Tuesday or Wednesday, per indication from the post office.
At this point, you should get prepared to arrive to AOSH EU very fast in response to the Comm Ev Recommendations, in order to terminate your cycle. Let me know when you will have it in hand and let me know what will be your arrival date to AOSH EU.

I expect rapid origination from your side upon receipt of my letter.

Ml, Arnaud, CJC EU
LOL J

My reply:
Dear Arnaud,
First of all I want to tell you that I have received no email from the Chief P/MAA since the 26th of October.
I have checked my email daily (in fact several times each day) & there has been no email from her or anyone regarding my comm ev Fs & Rs.
Ask her to show you the emails she said she sent.
(Note: I _did_ receive an email from her _yesterday_ via xx, who is up here on a tour.)
I appreciate your sending me the Findings and Recommendations of my Comm Ev, however, as far as I am concerned the cycle is done.
You can see my communication of 17 December 2011.
I am going to be very blunt here;
I am no longer a member of the church of Scientology.
My 17 December communication to you should have made that very clear.
I do not want anything to do with the church, its management or any of its affiliates.
I do not want or expect any harassment about this.
I am done and I want to be left alone to get on with my life.
I _will_ go legal if my life is interfered with by the church, or any SO units, or by anyone connected to the church.
There are individuals in the SO that I still like and admire – as individuals. However I want nothing to do with the corporate body.

Regards,

Phil Bruemmer

“THE NEW MALMÖ IDEAL ORG!!!” is a disgrace to the concept of a Scientology Organization.

One need only read HCOPL The Ideal Org and compare it to the existing scene at Malmö (or any other “Ideal Org”) to see that it is NOT an ideal org.

CMO Int, the Ideal Org Unit, RTC and what currently passes for the Sea Org are a disgrace.

When Malmö opened it opened with a new squirrel org board. Then, even this org board was not followed.

All staff were put on a minimum of 2½ hours per day “Basics Sales” during which they were on the phones harassing people to buy the Basics. Mind now that people on an orgs mailing list are also on other lists and get call at all times of the day or night from around the world. In addition to all-hands Basics sales there were all-hands “Book-a-thons” and other all-hands.

The result of this was that key posts were often unmanned (Course Admin, Tech Services, D of P, Examiner, etc). This led to slows on service lines and resulting injustices on staff for bad service and low stats. But the stupidities continued to be enforced, as it was “Command Intention.

In short staffs were held responsible for posts that they were prevented from holding by the Senior Execs who were “establishing” and “stabilizing” the org.

The org was manned up with disaffecteds from other orgs and by people from other countries who spoke no Swedish. For example, the Public reg personnel were German, Russian or Romanian. The Basic courses supers were Russian, Swiss and 1 Swede. The public disseminators were mainly Hungarian with poor English skills and no Swedish.  It is disgraceful to not have Swedish people at the entry points for new public.

The HGC opened with: 2 Hungarian auditors who were rushed through their Flag training for the opening of Malmö. They were borrowed from Budapest for 3 months, 1 Swedish Class IV who was borrowed for 3 months from Denmark Day org & 1 Class IV from Croatia.

Later on there was I Hungarian V Grad, 1 German V Grad and the Swede and Croatian IVs.

The D of P was a Hungarian and the OES was a V Grad from Hungary.

Qual consisted of an Israeli Qual Sec, Israeli SSO, Senior C/S was an American and the examiner was German.  (That was the final-line up in Qual, not the opening line-up).

There is more. Much, much more. I know folks like long interesting stories but this would be too long. It is also not all that interesting to me. I was fascinated at times by the sheer insanity being perpetrated on what used to be Scientology and I did learn how to survive being constantly under threat and duress while maintaining some integrity, that was interesting at times J

The point of this missive is to point up the fact that this “Ideal Org” operation was never intended to follow LRH policies regarding Scientology organizations and was doomed to failure from the start. It was intended to fail. The CMO Int Mission first and the Mission second were rewarded for this successful failed mission with promotion to the Ideal Org Unit.

The org board then seemed to work like this (after the dis-establishment mission left):

Ideal Org Unit I/C (Lucky Story, or her junior, Smith) issue orders to LC (The Office of LRH is now the Office of CMOI. CMO I enforce Source usurper’s squirrel dictates). LC bypasses anyone and everyone to carry out her duplication of what is needed or wanted.

(“I’m Lucky’s right hand in the org” – Monica Röhrig, CLO EU SO member, LC Malmö & junior sp in charge of ensuring suppression of anyone insisting on standard policy application)

There is another bypass line to the FR, who also bypasses anyone or everyone on the org board.

The FR’s major function seems to be Product Officer of the org, who batters staff to get products for posts they’ve been cross ordered off and to ensure they do the actions they have been cross ordered off post to do.

Go ahead, try to make that logical!

These 2 also are run by CLO to bypass.

The other line used to bypass is the Exec ESTO who, using squirrel ESTO tech, creates dis-establishment. The squirrel ESTO tech is held in place by LC EU and ultimately by RTC, who refers any reports to LC EU. Working with the LC and FR he helps to create an atmosphere of fear and confusion (Note that LC at the time and E/ESTO were handpicked by the CMOI mission.)

CLO, under CMO I run a permanent recruit “project” in the org. This recruit project uses “ethics”, rollback, has in the past gone through pc folders to get data on prospects, etc.

In one instance an HGC pc was 2d flowed to get him under the domination of a female SO recruiter. I went to the I/C directly on this one and it was stopped.

Folders of prospects were taken out of the org and given directly to the Senior C/S CTO who programmed for actions to help with recruitment. This of course is a permanent bypass of HCO and Qual, not to mention the Exec Council and Ad Council.

Dapper Dave “Supreme Squirrel For Life” Miscavige, has managed to install a thoroughly corrupt hey you org board which extends from his very own self all the way down and throughout what used to be Scientology.

In April 2011 I announced my intention to leave when my contract was complete.

I was put on a sec check. Not a leaving staff sec check per the policy (HCOPL LEAVING AND LEAVES) but, a sec check to ensure I didn’t leave. Or maybe it was just to punish me. Or maybe it was both.

I realized this when, after completing the end ruds I was told by the MAA that I had more to do.

This went on for 5 intensives. I had to borrow money to pay for this in the NOTS HGC at the AO.

I get 700 US bucks a month retirement pay for all my years on staff, and my church, which I gave all those years to, bleeds me for whatever it can get from me. And makes me wrong in the bargain! Staff pay in an un-Ideal Org does not cover auditing in the NOTS HGC, even at half price.

It used to be that trained OTs could co-audit, but some sp put an end to that as it messed with his income

(Oh Dave, the fires of hell are as cold as ice compared to where you are going to end up)

(You stupid, suppressive little prick, all the money and all the shyster lawyers in the universe can’t help you beyond this lifetime).

Somewhere along the line I realized they were not going to let me go. I would have to cave-in and submit and become a stupid, soulless robot, or be killed or blow. Or find some other way out, so I ceased to cooperate. Having spent 2+ years in an Ideal Org and dealing with the current crop of what is laughingly called the Sea Organization I had learned the benefits of being 1.1. I slid out and out the door (“just slip out the back jack…”)- Okay, I still got a comm ev but, by the time it was done I was well versed on the scene both inside and outside the cult. Plus I was out of there and out of control J

I wasn’t going to put this up on this blog as I considered my experiences in the Ideal Org to be very small potatoes compared to other stories I have read here. I also observed that the Ideal Org scam is no secret and therefore felt my posting would be redundant. Then some friends pointed out to me that my telling about Malmö might be of some benefit in getting others off the fence and /or out from under the radar.

Maybe so.  Maybe my friends have it right, but I am on the fence about that.

With all that has been written on this blog, scn-cult.com, friendsoflrh.com, savescientology.com, etc., and with all of the LRH quotes cited on this and the other blogs and, with all of the LRH references which have been referred to here, with the all the published wins from the application of Scientology technology OUTSIDE the cult church,  I doubt this latest complaint is going to reach anyone whose personal integrity is so lacking that they would help that disgusting, degraded, perverted suppressive to remain in a position of power.

That is what your silence and inaction is doing – propping up another suppressive dictator.

This particular dictator is working to not only ensure NO ONE makes it out now. He is also working to ensure that there will be no tech to EVER get out.

If not for a handful of real Scientologists Davey would have already wiped out any chance any of us have of going OT. If you think he is so powerful and smart think about this: He is killing the only chance he has of getting out.

How smart is that?

No, your silent acquiescence is merely prolonging the inevitable.

There is not going to be any miracle that will save the church from the suppression. It has gone too far for too many years.

The guys who could have handled it didn’t and they are either dead or out here keeping Scientology working. It is over. The church is dead. R.I.P.

You are observing the death throes of the snake.  It can still bite, still inject its venom, but it is dying.

It has destroyed lives, families, hopes. It has tried to destroy any hope any of us had for a better world, for our chance of being free. You want to sit on the sidelines and let this go on until it finally ends?

You can’t deal with an sp. Look at the definition of Suppressive Person in the tech dictionary. (Do it now, before he changes the definition!)

Two days ago I learned from a friend that my wife and I have been declared suppressive since 19 February 2012.

We weren’t surprised. My wife had a sort of “yeah, well didn’t your friend have anything interesting to say?” attitude. It was another alter-is, of course, they didn’t send me my certificate!

So far I have re-done OT I, which was, of course f….d up in the cult. Now I’m working on II and doing just fine and dandy, thank you. Then I’ll re-do III and go on from there.

A word to the wise: You are NOT gonna go OT on altered tech delivered by someone who is determined there will be no OTs.

I am grateful for having worked in one of Davey’s Ideal Orgs because all of the tech on PTS/SP has been made very real to me and will stand me in good stead throughout my eternity. Indeed it ensures that I will have a better eternity, no matter what happens here and now. I have good experience on four flows J

So, thanks Dave.  I know you intended to burn the house down, but you ended up watering the carpet!

Fool.

The Friedman’s Break Free

Some of you may know Marsha and Steve Friedman, but for those of you who don’t, here’s a little information about these two new independents.

Marsha became a Scientologist in 1969 and introduced Steve to Scientology in 1973.  They are well-known as Scientologists in the Clearwater community, where they moved in 1989.  They are also well-known as successful business people who own and operate a national PR agency, founded by Marsha 22 years ago.  The firm, headquartered until recently in downtown Clearwater, represents professionals, high-profile individuals and corporations in a wide range of industries. Their staff is comprised mostly of media professionals, and each month they arrange an average of 160 radio interviews, 20 local and national TV appearances and millions of potential readers in offline and online print. As well they market online, with Marsha having 70,000 friends and followers on the various social networking sites.  She is also the author of the book, Celebritize Yourself, and is co-host of a recently launched national talk radio show airing weekly on Sirius/XM.

– Mike Rinder

Here’s Marsha’s story in her own words.

Dear Friends,

As I don’t know where this post will wind up in the wild world of the Internet, consider this an “Open Letter” to friends I know and those I don’t, people in the church or on the fence, public and/or staff.

While writing this letter might seem as evidence to those within the church that we have gone “to the dark side,” I’m actually writing this for the purpose of telling the truth and filling in the vacuum of data for the friends and family who have chosen to disconnect from me and Steve, and others who might become new friends.

To start, I’d like to share a little of my background. I became a Scientologist in 1969 and joined staff at the Miami Org as Marsha Ulan.  I have fond memories of being on staff during that era, and can vividly recall those exciting days when new HCOB’s and HCO PL’s were released.  Whenever this happened, we always stopped whatever we were doing to read LRH’s new breakthroughs.  The energy and excitement were beyond compare; we knew we were part of a great new movement.

While still on staff in 1973, I introduced Steve to Scientology and shortly thereafter we got married. (We were raised together in Queens, NY, and have known each other since we were 7 and 8 years old.)

I finished my contract and left staff in March of 1974 to have our first child together. We’ve now been happily married going on 39 years in May, and are the very proud parents of 2 sons, a daughter, 3 grandchildren and a new great-grandson (whew…even hard for us to believe!).

In 1989 we moved to Clearwater to be close to Flag, and while I never went back on staff, I always volunteered for OSA whenever called upon.  Over the years, we did a lot of services at Flag, including auditing on OT 7 until about a year ago when we routed off the level.

I had no idea when I routed out of the Flag AO last year that this journey would lead me here.  And, quite honestly, in a strange sort of way, I have my auditor and FSM to thank for finding my path to this portal.  You see, when Steve and I chose to route off of OT 7, it wasn’t conceivable to anyone in the Church that we could have made that decision without being influenced by people we were told are “the enemy.”  Our instantaneous response was, “What enemy? Are we in some kind of war?”

Then we were accused of being associated with “friends of LRH.”  We thought, “How strange, of course we’re friends of LRH and, yes, that is who we associate with.”  And this wasn’t said tongue-in-cheek at all, even though it may seem that way.  Truly, we were the best of soldiers.  We didn’t dare read anything on the Internet about Scientology.  We were told it was evil, enturbulating and could cause us great harm.  While neither Steve nor I believed anything or anyone had that kind of power over us, especially considering we were OT and armed with ethics and PTS tech, we chose to simply follow the rules and do as we were told.

But, after routing off services and being free to think, read and experience whatever we desired, I decided to look and see who those “enemies” were and what exactly was meant by “friends of LRH.”

Once I started to look, I anticipated finding a volume of success stories and well publicized good works of the church by independent media coverage.  However, the only pro-church coverage I found were press releases the church wrote and paid to have distributed by PR distribution services.  But most important was what I found from independent news coverage – the harrowing stories of people who had been on staff, and the violation of their human rights.

After doing a lot of research online, when Debbie Cook’s email hit my inbox at the beginning of this year, I found myself in complete agreement with the points she raised.  And, for the reasons listed below, on Tuesday, February 28th, I learned the church was planning to issue a declare on me and Steve.  This was told to me over lunch by one of my closest Scientology friends of twenty years.

My crimes?  Since I’ve received no communication from anyone at the church, or OSA, I can only speculate on their reasoning:

1.  On January 2, 2012, I forwarded Debbie Cook’s email to 3 people with whom I had a close relationship: my brother and two friends.  My brother did not respond to my email nor did he call or try to engage in any conversation.  Rather, he sent me a Knowledge Report in the mail and after a 60 plus year relationship, he just disconnected from me.  My sister-in-law disconnected shortly thereafter.

The initial response from my two friends was to say that while they didn’t agree, they still loved and treasured my friendship and would like to just agree to disagree.  However, they have both since disconnected.

2.  On February 8th, after receiving an email from two Scientology business associates asking to contract my company for services, I sent them a response letting them know of my agreement with the points Debbie Cook raised in her letter.  As lines in the sand were obviously being drawn at this point, I felt it was only appropriate they should know my feelings, in case they preferred not to engage my company for this reason.   (I never heard back from either person,      even though one of them was someone I’ve known over 30 years.)

3.  Around this same time, I got about 5 or 6 messages on Facebook, stating I was Facebook friends with Debbie Cook and requesting I un-friend her.  I didn’t un-friend Debbie Cook; I un-friended them instead.

The close friend, who over lunch told me of the declare coming down, said he was meeting with OSA’s Kathy True that following Saturday to “right this wrong.”  He said he would contact me after the meeting to let me know what occurred.

I never heard from him again.  After a very close 20-year friendship, he has disconnected from me, un-friended me on Facebook and had all of his family do the same.

At that point, I assumed a declare had been issued.  Then, a couple weeks ago, I learned about a Facebook posting below, by someone I don’t know, which resulted in a lot of FB disconnections from Scientologists.

Russell Posyton

1:07am Mar 9

“Marsha Freidman and her husband Steve Friedman have been Declared Suppressive, I know this as a fact. This Declare can be seen and verified with any MAA or OSA terminal.

“As your Facebook Friend, I would most appreciate your removing them as your Facebook friend ASAP.

“Thanks in advance for your action on this,

“Russell”

Lastly, I learned from my son who works for a Scientologist (and former friend) of some false things being said about me by the church:

1.  That the church has been trying to “handle” me for a year but I refused to take any calls, return any calls or speak to anyone.

This is completely false.  No one from the church ever called, emailed or even stopped by my office (located until recently a few blocks away from Flag) to talk to me about any problems they had with me.

In fact, it’s quite to the contrary. This past Christmas I was very involved as usual in an event the church is associated with.  In 1989 I founded a group that I later established as a non-profit called Cherish the Children Foundation, which championed for abused, abandoned and neglected children.  For 22 years me and my organization sponsored a Christmas party for these foster children in which the church played a role as a co-sponsor.  This past year was no different and one of OSA’s staff even attended the event, without one word spoken to me throughout the planning or at the event itself.

If perhaps this statement was referring to “handling” my husband, the situation there is that when he turned in his confidential materials and said he would no longer be auditing, both his auditor and FSM (at different times) visited him at our office.  His auditor was furious about his decision, yelling at him in the driveway with accusations that he’s been “influenced” by enemies.  His communication was nasty enough that he called Steve back later that same day to apologize.  Then, two MAA’s called Steve (on the phone at the same time) yelling and threatening him about what would happen if he didn’t come into the Org to see them.  Well, if you knew Steve, you’d know he doesn’t take kindly to being threatened. Without raising his voice, but with tons of intention he told them their threats were meaningless and they wouldn’t be seeing him. They hung up the phone on him and he has never heard from anyone at the church since then.  So, if no longer wanting to audit on OT 7 is a suppressive act, he’s guilty.

2.  That I broadly spread Debbie Cook’s email.

Completely untrue. I sent Debbie Cook’s email to three people.

3.  That my FSM came to my house to talk to me but my husband slammed the door in her face.

Completely untrue.  My last home in Clearwater that we lived in for two years was very close to Flag and my FSM had never seen it.  It’s a high security condo building.  No one can even enter the building to get to our unit to have the door slammed in their face.

What did occur was our FSM stopped by one day at the office while we were working.  She arrived unannounced and went into Steve’s office.  He was not happy about a prior conversation where she called him an “a-hole.”  He told her that she didn’t have an appointment and asked her to leave.  He never left his desk to close the door or slam it in her face.  She got up and walked out and it was apparent she was upset.  Right or wrong, I asked him to call her afterwards to apologize.  He did and she accepted his apology.

To date, Steve and I have still have not heard from anyone from the church about a formal declare.  Nor do we know what other untruths have been said about us in a goldenrod, which we understand is apparently available at Flag.

So, after being an upstat, loyal and dedicated Scientologist for 43 years, my journey has led me here.

It’s been very difficult at times to confront the lies I believed for so many years and the aberrations that exist within the church at the most senior level.

During this journey, I was so careful not to speak to my friends in any great depth of what I found. I was concerned it would enturbulate them and I didn’t want to create that effect.  While I was being so careful to protect those I loved, they disconnected from me without any thought or reason when they were told the church had declared me a suppressive person.

If any one of those people were asked what they thought of me a few months ago, they would have declared me not suppressive, but rather their sister and friend, whom they loved and cherished.  Yet with nary a question, they have disconnected because they were told we have gone to the “dark side” and are now suppressive people.

As I didn’t take the opportunity to speak candidly with friends before our declare, and had I known they would have disconnected from me so easily without even a question, let me say, here and now, what I should have said to them when we were still speaking.

To them I would say, honestly and truly, the only “dark side” that exists is at the senior level of management of the C of S and OSA.  The entheta embroiled in the activities of disconnection and declares becomes very apparent when one is on the other side and subjected to disconnection and being declared.

But, like an auditing session – where you blow chunks of charge and see the world as bright and shining – that’s what it’s like to be on the other side, where suppression is non-existent.  I’m talking of the suppression of being told who you can and can’t talk to, what you can and can’t read, what you can and can’t think, what you can and can’t do, where and how you spend your time and your money.  Now that we’re on the other side, that suppression doesn’t exist anymore. It’s the most wonderful freedom Steve and I have experienced in a long time.  The sad part is that until the suppression came off, we didn’t even realize how other-determined we had agreed to be.

We have personally experienced the off-policy regime that currently exists within the church.  The following are just a few specifics that speak for themselves.

1.  Steve and I have been declared but we never received any communication from the church about this status.  Instead, we have heard only rumors that we have been declared – with NO prior ethics or justice actions, or Committee of Evidence held as clearly defined in policy.

2.  Parishioners have disconnected from us, some who are directly in comm with the MAAs office, even though the policy on disconnection was cancelled in Ron’s Journal ‘68, (an LRH lecture of 1968).  The existence of this LRH reference is completely ignored by the church.  At the same time they have reported to the media that disconnection is not practiced.  Is it really okay for any person or entity to force you to disconnect from those you love, be it family or friend?  What kind of a church does this?

3.  We have been “crush-regged” for the IAS and for fundraising for Ideal Orgs.  Yet there are numerous LRH policy  references against fundraising, many of which can be found on http://www.friendsoflrh.org/COBvsLRH/.  Can anyone truly deny that crush regging exists?  We’ve all experienced it.  On many occasions I have been regged by my auditor after finishing up at the examiner, by my D of P, Board I/C and examiner.  Finishing a checksheet cycle in qual was usually accompanied by a reg cycle with the Cram Officer, Qual Consultant or MLO.  And, the bigger reg cycles usually included the D/ED and MAA, and oftentimes an FSM (other than our own) or an OL in town.

By no stretch of the imagination could we be considered wealthy.  But we gave when we could – $100k to the IAS and thousands more to library donations in addition to the hundreds of thousands for bridge cycles over the years.

But the reg cycle that took place in the last quarter of 2010 turned the corner for us.  After being detained for over 3 hours with a host of people, some using verbal force to try and close us to take out a $100k second mortgage on our home (to no avail), we realized we were no longer giving because we wanted to; it was now being demanded of us.  I was told the donations were necessary because the church was building a “war chest.”  The irony is that while one of LRH’s stated aims for Scientology is “a civilization without war,” money is being accumulated for a war, which flies in the face of LRH’s intention.  When I finally got to look at this, I asked myself, “What war is the church fighting?”  I know what I was told by the Church powers that be, but I didn’t feel I had enough data to really understand what I was told.  When I started looking, I saw the evidence to support the fact that, yes, this church IS at war.  But unfortunately, I found that the war is against anyone who dares to expose the off-policy injustices and crimes being perpetrated.

Debbie Cook is just one example.  There are many, many other individuals who have come forth with similar or worse stories of their own.  And these very well documented stories all live online.

The question you have to ask yourself is, “What if? What if any of these reports of abuse at the highest level of the Church are true?”  When I asked myself that question, I realized I could never stand proudly and look myself in the eye, if I didn’t do something to expose the dirty secrets that are very well-known to the rest of the world, but unknown to those on the inside who choose not to look.

To those still in the church, think of LRH’s essay on Personal Integrity.

“Personal integrity is knowing what you know. What you know is what you know and to have the courage to know and say what you have observed. And that is integrity and there is no other integrity.”

And, think of the Code of Honor which says: “Your self-determinism and your honor are more important than your immediate life.  Your integrity to yourself is more important than your body.”

Another important reference is an LRH quote from 9 Dec. 1952 PDC tape called “What’s Wrong With This Universe:” LRH says, “Man’s degradation always stems from his first desertion or breakage of really the Code of Honor.  He breaks the Code of Honor and after that he starts downhill and he gets worse and worse and worse and worse because his trust in himself is worse and therefore he can’t trust what his own energy is or anything else.”

If anything I’ve said resonates even to the slightest degree, then you owe it to yourself to do as LRH says, “Look, don’t listen.”  Even if you decide the data you find is not true for you, at least you’ve taken responsibility to “know.”  The other side of the coin is to not know, and that’s when you mess with your integrity.

Personal integrity is the one thing no one can ever take from you.  Only you can give it away.

While our SP declare was intended to negatively impact us, it’s actually been a very freeing action for both of us.

Our lives are good.  Steve and I feel very fortunate that we’ve never been solely dependent on Scientologists for friends, employees and clients.  We have a successful business with a wonderful staff and a great stable of clients.  And, thankfully our business is doing well.

I know many people who have experienced disconnection from the church are not as fortunate as we are in this way.  But, just as we have created close friendships and business relationships with people outside the church, from all walks of life, we know others can do this too in time.

At the end of the day, Steve and I have chosen to maintain our Code of Honor and our personal integrity.  We’re able to freely enjoy our family and friends, to keep our business flourishing and prospering, our clients happy and to live our lives to the fullest, all while contributing to the happiness and survival of others.

In summary, due to all that has happened and the off-policy regime that exists, we’re happy to announce our formal resignation and disconnection from the current C of S.

Love,

Marsha

Miscavige and Misogyny

Definition of MISOGYNY

: a hatred of women

— miso·gy·nic adjective

— mi·sog·y·nist noun or adjective

— mi·sog·y·nis·tic adjective

Origin of MISOGYNY

Greek misogynia, from misein to hate + gynē woman — more at queen

First Known Use: circa 1656     – Merriam-Websters.com

Many here have expressed dismay while attempting to divine David Miscavige’s “logic” in launching perhaps the largest footnuke in Scientology history by suing Debbie Cook.

Mike Rinder and I went through the same process the moment we first finished reading the lawsuit and motion for Temporary Injunction.

However, Rinder in his inimitable, deliberative style soon summed up what I believe to be a perfectly accurate estimation of Miscavige’s thought processes in one succinct sentence.

Mike read the following from Debbie’s 15 January email to the “church”:

“I put out a simple message to not support anything not covered in tech or policy by L Ron Hubbard and to go up the Bridge.  How is that so horrible and despicable?  Oh, I forgot, I dared to challenge DM.  My OL (Opinion Leader) is L Ron Hubbard.”

Mike turned to me and said, “I know exactly what happened;  Miscavige read this and said, ‘I AM GOING TO TEACH THAT BITCH A LESSON’.”

Mike was spot on because Mike understands that at bottom David Miscavige is the worst sort of misogynist.

When I joined the Sea Org in January 1978 one thing that impressed me about Ron Hubbard’s international organization was that it was way, way ahead of the times in terms of gender equality.   Some of the most powerful figures in Scientology – all appointed by L Ron Hubbard himself – were women.   Mary Sue Hubbard and Jane Kember on the Guardian’s Office side, and Dede Reisdorf Voegeding and Gale Reisdorf Irwin on the Sea Org side.

Well, the first order of business in Miscavige’s rise to power was the calculated, systematic destruction of all four of those women.

But, that was not the end of it.

Upon formation of Religious Technology Center, which was intended to carry out an international Qual function so as to guarantee the practice of Standard Technology in churches of Scientology, L Ron Hubbard appointed two more women to its highest positions, Inspector General – Annie Tidman Broeker; and D/Inspector General  – Vicki Aznaran.

Both very competent women were ruthlessly taken down by Miscavige.

By the late eighties there were but four remaining high-profile, internationally recognized women executives heading major Scientology entities, Terri Gamboa at Author Services Inc (ASI, before it became a glorified sales con outfit), Janet Light at International Association of Scientologists (IAS), Bitty Blythe Miscavige as Commanding Officer CMO Int,  and Debbie Cook at Flag Service Organization.

When Miscavige’s ordered criminal reg tactics of ASI were creating big external threats for the church, he blamed it all on Terri and blew her off.

Bitty rose to the position of Inspector General – chiefly on the merits of her years’ long projects to help upgrade Flag into a two million dollars a week income cash cow.  Janet was left to get on with it as she turned IAS into an even more profitable outfit, albeit out-exchange and criminal, than Flag.

Bitty had her ups and downs and ups, but in the year 2000 she too was blown off by Miscavige’s misogynist behavior after having the temerity to challenge him.

Then in early 2007 Janet was imprisoned in the hole and broken after expressing disagreements with Miscavige’s  increasing greed and criminality.  Shortly after Miscavige sent his own wife, COB Assistant Shelly, to a gulag because she too began to question Miscavige’s sanity.

That left Debbie as the last powerful woman in Scientology standing.  If you’ve been following since her New Years message this year, you know the misogynist behavior Miscavige visited upon her.

And when Debbie drew a line in the sand and told the dictator “make my day” he could not resist his own evil, misogynist impulses.

My guess is that if there were a support network like the Independent Movement in place back in the day none of these powerful women (all friends and trusted confidants of L Ron Hubbard) would have given up and left Scientology behind.

In my mind Debbie stands for all the great women of Scientology.

When Debbie told the SP “no!”, she represented every former great woman in Scientology that Miscavige blew off or destroyed.

When she prevails it will rehabilitate the power of female legends in the history of the Scientology movement.

It will restore complete gender equality in Scientology for the future.

It will quite possibly mark the end of Miscavige’s reign of terror; for the simple reason that I imagine he cannot live with the fact of being bested by a woman.

Note: While the above is only a brief overview, the details of the misogynist, sexist nature of Scientology Inc’s supreme leader and its effect in destroying Scientology Inc will be fully exposed in my upcoming book.

Ronnie Bell and Personal Integrity

Another Texan! What’s up with Washington, Florida and Cali these days?  And the rest of the world for that matter. By the way, if you haven’t already done so, go to Scientology-cult.com and sign the Indies 500 list.  I think Steve Hall is right – it’ll take just about 500 to mark the final tipping point.  Welcome aboard Ronnie. This write up right here Smokes, with a capital S.  – Marty

Dear friends and family,

I’d like to share something very personal with you.

Scientology is a subject that teaches about, and helps one to attain personal freedom. Anti-social personalities are, of course, threatened by this, and suppress others’ freedom to discover truth for themselves.

“What is true for you is what you have observed yourself. And when you lose that, you have lost everything.

What is personal integrity? Personal integrity is knowing what you know. What you know is what you know and to have the courage to know and say what you have observed. And that is integrity and there is no other integrity.

Of course, we can talk about honor, truth, nobility—all these things as esoteric terms. But I think they would all be covered very well if what we really observed was what we observed, that we took care to observe what we were observing, that we always observed to observe.”

L Ron Hubbard
From the essay “Personal Integrity”

The freedom to observe is part of being a free person. Free people come to their own conclusions by freely making their own observations and investigations. A free person also keeps their own counsel, and selects their own decisions.

You’re certainly intelligent enough to reach your own conclusions about facts you freely investigate.

If you’re commanded to not investigate, is that freedom?

Why would someone bar you with fear of excommunication for the crime of simply observing?

There can be only two reasons:

1) The internet is so dark and evil that your whole being will be swallowed up forever in a paralysis of eternal damnation, if you so much as dare to look.

2) Someone is trying to hide something from you about them.

Relax for a moment and put your TR-0 in. Ask yourself: which of these answers seems more reasonable?

I think that educated Scientologists are smart enough and observant enough to differentiate between harmful third party and reports from honest individuals who are simply revealing what they themselves have observed.

In that spirit, I’d like to say that it’s possible that you may not have granted yourself the right to freely observe and investigate the many hundreds of honest reports about the true scene in our church.

I recently chose to put on my personal integrity hat, and do my own free investigation of these reports.

What I can tell you is that there are more of them than you might imagine. Secondly, the character and worthiness of the individuals making these reports is of the highest order. Many, if not most of these individuals, are highly trained and processed, and most have long careers of service on staff in the Sea Org and Class V orgs. In fact, you probably know many of these people personally.

After months of personal investigation, and comparing the reports of other Scientologists to my own observations of ‘things that should not be’ within our church, I applied the Doubt formula to the situation. My final analysis is that certain suppressive individuals within our church have done great harm to our religion and the third dynamic over the last thirty years. I have chosen to remain in that group who are loyal to LRH and to the Standard Tech of Dianetics and Scientology.

Please see my attached write-up.

In closing, I value you as a friend, and hope that you grant yourself the freedom to make your own observations, and draw your own conclusions about the current state of our church.

It’s very likely that you’ll soon be pushed to disconnect from me because of the position I’ve taken in regards to the church. Just know that LRH canceled the policy of disconnection in 1968 and never re-instated it (see RJ-68). No one has the right to force you to disconnect from anyone. Only you have that right.

Thank you for being there, and for communicating.

ARC,

Ronnie Bell

RONNIE BELL’S WRITE UP

My name is Ronnie Bell. I am now, and will always be a Scientologist.

After about a year of searching, I found Scientology in early 1973, when I was nineteen years of age. I attended a standard Dianetics lecture at the L.A. Org, and routed right onto the Hubbard Apprentice Scientologist (Comm) course. Long story short – that course was run Flag-style, and the incredible wins I experienced made me a Scientologist for life. Although I didn’t do a lot of training after completing the Comm Course, I read most of LRH’s books, did the HQS Course, and an introductory Ethics course, all in my first two years.

Over subsequent years, I completed Life Repair, the Purification Rundown, and the CCRD, as well as many Div 6 courses, and the Student Hat. I paid for OT Preps and Solo 1 at ASHO and AOLA (respectively) in the summer of 2005, and received six weeks of full time auditing at ASHO. That auditing began with my Clear status being de-certified, and went downhill from there. The final results of that auditing were inconclusive. I did not make it to the Solo 1 course.

I also served as a hired staff member in the Sea Org renovations org from 1988, to 1997. I worked on all of the major church projects in that time, including (but not limited to) HGB, LRH Exhibition, Manor Hotel and C.C., Saint Hill Castle, ASI, Flag Land Base, Sandcastle, Super Power building, Coachman, Clearwater Building, and PAC Base renos.

I’ve also worked on many volunteer projects, including the ASHO Central Files project in 1994, where I was the Volunteer I/C.

Since at least the early 1980s, I’ve noted a great many disturbing things occurring within my church. Some of these outpoints have been acute, one-off instances, while others have become chronic, down-trending situations of great magnitude and seriousness. Most of these are of such seriousness, that they’ve become real and present threats to the viability of the Church of Scientology as a group.

These chronic outpoints have grown to such a state of magnitude, that they have caused me a great deal of spiritual distress, resulting in decreased reach for the Bridge, lowered ARC with my natural constituents within the group, feelings of hopelessness about the health and well-being of my religion, and doubt about church management’s ability to correctly apply LRH tech to handle these issues.

Perhaps worst of all, I found that I’d fallen into tacit agreement with the suppressive and unspoken command to not look – not listen, and that I’d cut myself off from any information channel which did not emanate from church management. By doing so, I violated my own Code of Honor, and caused myself to operate in something of a PTS condition in life for many years.

I have recently looked over all of the outpoints with the existing scene in our church, and have given myself permission to become informed of the great number of Knowledge Reports by upstat Scientologists around the globe. Having looked at all of the evidence, and having consulted my own reality on what I’ve personally observed, it’s my conclusion that the corporate church and its officers have violated and degraded the tech of Scientology, and have sunk into lower conditions on the third dynamic.

As they say, ‘what has been seen, cannot be unseen’. Therefore, I have chosen to withdraw my allegiance from the corporate church, and to make it known that I intend to stand with those who remain friends of LRH, and who practice and disseminate the Standard Tech of Scientology, as developed and written by its founder. The following is a partial list of major outpoints within the corporate church that I am personally aware of.

Outpoints and Things That Should Not Be within the Church of Scientology

1. By direct observation, the number of students on major auditor training courses has fallen continuously and precipitously over the last 30 years.

2. Most Int level execs known to the public, have virtually disappeared from public view. In fact, the whole of the Int Exec Strata which was widely known to Scientology public has now become virtually invisible or non-existent. Letters and KRs to individuals, posts, and offices at that level, now routinely go unanswered.

3. Orgs have become more like new car dealerships, than oases of spiritual freedom. Public are often trapped into crush sales situations by staff of every level whenever they venture into an org. This aggressive over-reach on the part of church staff even extends to parishioners’ homes and businesses.

4. HGCs are much quieter and emptier than in decades past. Again, by direct observation.

5. The practice of disconnection is in full use by church officials today, despite the policy being canceled by LRH more than 40 years ago (see RJ 68). This has been attested to by hundreds of Independent Scientologists, whose friends and family members have been coerced into disconnecting from them after they have left the corporate church.

6. Clears and OTs have routinely had their Clear state invalidated on auditing lines for close to a decade. This has apparently been done by executive order, and has no basis in the written technology of LRH. This is a monstrously suppressive act, and has caused untold anguish, hardship, and disaster for thousands of Clears and OTs. Many have been spiritually crashed by this action, including myself.

7. An unwritten rule that parishioners should ‘not look – not listen’ has somehow solidified into a tacit agreement over the last three decades. Scientologist public are often warned by org terminals to ignore widespread reports about the church in the news media and on the internet. This violates a person’s right to freely give and receive communication, per the Code of Honor.

8. As a result of this suppress on Scientologists’ comm lines, most who are actively on lines in the church have no idea of the very real outpoints and failings of church management, both domestically, and internationally.

9. The international church puts on at least four major international events each year, which is a violation of LRH policy on the subject. LRH specifically forbid such gargantuan galas, as they take staff and public away from auditing and training, and drain precious financial resources.

10. All such international events are staged for the primary purpose of crush selling the public on new books and lectures, or for donations to the IAS. This is proven by the fact that public who attend such events are routinely funneled through a physical gauntlet of registrars and high pressure sales people when these events conclude. Church staff are even posted at the exits to force the public into the crush regging area.

11. Donations to the IAS from the Scientology public now number into the hundreds of millions of dollars, but there has been little result shown for such a massive outpouring of support. The public has been told that the IAS is keeping the church safe from outside suppression, but anyone availing themselves of widespread news coverage of the church’s court battles and struggles with governments, can see that this simply isn’t so. For the most part, church parishioners aren’t even dimly aware of what a precarious position the international church is in right now, as regards its reputation and PR with the broad public. In fact, parishioners have almost no awareness of the fact that the corporate church is primarily engaged in legal battles with Scientologists who have dared to speak the truth about gross outpoints, and even crimes they’ve witnessed within the church.

12. The public has been crush regged to donate to many ‘Ideal Org’ projects around the world. They’ve been led to believe that if they provide swank new quarters for their orgs, that they will attract new public, and help to expand the Scientology religion. Neither has occurred. Every such ‘Ideal Org’ is as empty of bodies as they were before their publics set them up in much more expensive digs. Now these orgs are in even worse shape than before, because their monthly building expenses have increased many times over. This program has forced orgs into ‘having to have before they can do’, which is a complete reversal of the natural order of Be – Do – Have. The ‘Ideal Org’ program also violates several LRH advices about procuring real estate for orgs. See HCOPL 23 Sept. 1970 Quarters, Policy Regarding on org premises. See HCOPL 24 February 1964, Issue II Org Programming on demanding donations for buildings.

13. The so-called Super Power Building in Clearwater is a glaring outpoint. It has been under construction for at least 18 years now, and is still not finished or occupied. This has flapped all over City of Clearwater lines for years, and the Flag Service Org has taken a lot of heat from the city about that idle real estate. This has caused inestimable damage to the PR of Scientology, both in Florida, and around the world.

14. Those on OT VII are forced to report to Flag every six months for a ‘check’. As it turns out, this ‘six month check’ is nothing more than a Sec Check, which is not required in the written LRH materials regarding that level. It’s also inspection before the fact, which is expressly forbidden by LRH ethics tech advices. Reportedly, the cost for this service is $10,000 per intensive. Not only is it out-tech, but it’s an absolute rip off of dedicated and upstat public. It is also highly destructive to parishioners’ income production, and family stability.

15. Per widespread reports, 30 of the 54 Class XII auditors ever made, have been declared SP. All 8 of the Class XIIs personally trained by LRH have been declared SPs. It is illogical in the extreme that such a high a percentage of a single group of people, are actually suppressive persons.

16. Most of the first 100 Clears have also been declared, including John McMaster, Clear #1. Again, this is a strong indicator that the true SP is active within the church.

“Now any time you find thirty people on staff being removed because they were suppressive, you know they had the wrong Why, because the percentages are wrong. It’s just as mathematical as that.

If they’ve done that then I can also assure you they’ve left the suppressive on the staff and I can also assure you the guy that did it was suppressive.”

17. The standard floating needle has been redefined by COB, David Miscavige, as a “three swing” needle. This is a squirrel definition of a phenomenon that has been well defined by LRH for well over half a century, and which has been learned and used by thousands upon thousands of successful auditors. Since this squirrel definition has been enforced, auditing times for processes and rundowns of all types has lengthened greatly, and over-runs on processes are now the rule, rather than the exception.

From Friends of LRH.com ~ http://www.friendsoflrh.org/Section2/ :

The contrivance of COB’s interpretation is borne out by the fact that, from the release of the bulletin What Is A Floating Needle in 1978 to the Senior C/S Conference in 1995, there isn’t one known instance of a student or auditor, from Class XII on down, having come to COB’s understanding of F/Ns on their own, despite thousands having word-cleared the definition.

Since this redefinition of F/Ns was first incorporated into the Pro Metering and Solo courses, students have been referred to sources as far-fetched as the Art Series, the Marketing Series, a physics text, and The Encyclopedia of Music, in order to understand it.

LRH’s definition of an F/N, on the other hand, couldn’t be simpler:

“A floating needle is a rhythmic sweep of the dial at a slow, even pace of the needle.

That’s what an F/N is. No other definition is correct.”

18. The so-called “Golden Age of Tech” has turned out to be an enormous invalidation of pre-existing technology developed by LRH. The hundreds of drills and verbatim memorization of materials has resulted in robotic auditors who have little ARC, Understanding, or Duplication, while auditing.

Per LRH:

“The only allowed practical drills on any Scientology course including PE [Personal Efficiency] are:

    1. Modified Comm Course for PE

    2. Original Comm Course TRs 0-4

    3. Original Upper Indoc TRs

    4. E-Meter drills contained in the Book of E-Meter Drills

    5. Dissemination drills when I write and release them.

NO other practical drills of any kind will be permitted.

    Other practical drills are abolished.

Reason: They consume time uselessly, suppress actual processes and mess up data and cases. I did not authorize these drills and have now seen that they teach alter-is of easy processes. They are not needed. They make poor auditors. I have just reviewed this matter thoroughly and have traced several training failures to these wildcat drills. Further, I traced several failed cases on course to them.

Somewhere along the line somebody went mad inventing “drills” and “TRs”.

If this is permitted to continue, we will no longer turn out good auditors. The standard drills as listed above have proven sufficient for years.”

        (OEC Vol. 4, p. 616)

The length of checksheets has also vastly increased over those in use during the true golden age of Scientology (1965 – 1980). There are many tech references by LRH that advise against long checksheets for auditors, and which do advise getting newly trained auditors in the chair and auditing. Per LRH, an auditor learns to audit by auditing – not by endless course study and drilling.

The following is from Friends of LRH.com ~ http://www.friendsoflrh.org/Section2/ :

With the issuance of RTC ED #450, COB announces his revamping of every single auditor course checksheet.

These include the Academy Levels, NED, Grad V, and the Briefing Course.

He also heralds new checksheets for all Div. 6 (Introductory) courses, such as Life Improvement, Dianetic Seminar, Success Through Communication, and HQS.

Finally, he announces the restructuring of all co-audit courses, such as TRs and Objectives, Scientology Drug Rundown, and Method 1.

Each of these checksheets has since been compared to its earlier versions. In almost every case, they were found to be far, far longer — often two to three times or more.

LRH warned of the devastating consequences that overly long checksheets have on training:

“Speedup of HDCs, Class IV, VI, VII, VIII and ‘HGC Auditor’ courses at all orgs, AOs (and SHs) would encourage more students. My time for it is 3 weeks. This was up to 5 and even 11 to 13 weeks at once by illegal checksheet increases.

    …Fast training gets students in.

Slow training messes up the whole field and denies enrollments.”

19. Through deceit, and the suppressive practice of dissuading Scientologists from accessing widely disseminated news and media, church management has caused Scientologists to believe that they are the only source of LRH’s spiritual technology. The vast majority of staff and public within corporate Scientology have no idea that LRH’s technology is widely in use outside the corporate church. There are literally hundreds of Independent Scientology groups and practitioners delivering On Source training and processing outside of the established churches. In fact, it’s been reported by thousands of ex-corporate church members, that these individuals and organizations are delivering far superior results, and are more On Source, than any corporate church orgs. The truth is, the entire Bridge is available outside the corporate church.

20. The corporate church has discontinued measuring their production by the only two stats that LRH considered to be of primary importance. Those are; number of case completions, and number of new auditors graduated. Today, the public is wowed by stats at international events such as, ‘number of new square feet added’, ‘Basic books and lectures sales’, ‘number of people studying the Basics’, ‘number of books translated’, ‘populations of countries where Scientology has taken hold’, etc. All of these are impressive, but they’re simply sub-products of the only stats that count – number of case completions, and number of new auditors made. Unsurprisingly, those two vital statistics are never mentioned at major church events, or in any of the church promotional materials.

“Orgs have only 2 major final valuable products.

One is well-trained auditors. The other is satisfied pcs.”

21. A recent comparison of auditor training completions published in church magazines from the mid-70s to the present day, shows a ten-fold decrease in the number of auditor course graduates and major case completions. Despite the glitz and glamor of church magazines, Ideal Org buildings, and international events, the fact is, the corporate church of Scientology is shrinking fast.

From: http://www.friendsoflrh.org/Section2/ ~

“In early 1971, ASHO’s The Auditor magazine, Issue 61, listed the total number of Scientologists who had trained on the Hubbard Standard Dianetics Course (HSDC). This list includes graduates from the course’s initial release in May 1969 to the publication of this magazine less than 2 years later.

Here is a summary:

LA Org                  209 (over 2 a week)

    ASHO                    146 (about 1½ a week)

    San Francisco     88 (1 a week)

    Toronto                83 (1 a week)

    New York            64 (1 every 11 days)

In contrast, completions of the New Era Dianetics (NED) Course — the modern equivalent of the Hubbard Standard Dianetics Course — compiled from 2004 to 2005 revealed the following:

LA Org                  0

    ASHO                    3

    San Francisco     4

    Toronto                0

    New York            2

The number of NED comps for 2006-08 varied slightly from 2004-05, but averaged out roughly the same. Compared to the figures from mid-1969 to early 1971, this represents a decline of 95 to 100%.”

22. By my personal observation and experience, many old timers (those who’ve been in Scientology for 30 years or more) avoid going into the orgs, and many have nearly given up on progressing up the full Bridge this lifetime. In my view, they, like me, have noted most of the outpoints above, and have quietly withdrawn from the church for the most part, because they don’t know how to fix what’s wrong with their church, and are afraid to rock the boat.

From: http://www.friendsoflrh.org/Section2/ ~

When confronted with proof of an unprecedented crash at all levels of training, staff and public often respond with justifications and reasons why. LRH wrote extensively about the mental mechanism behind this phenomenon:

“One often wonders why people are so ‘reasonable’ about intolerable and illogical situations.

The answer is very simple: they cannot recognize outpoints when they see them and so try to make everything seem logical.

The ability to actually see an outpoint for what it is, in itself is an ability to attain some peace of mind.

…The human reaction is to REACT! to an outpoint. And then get ‘reasonable’ and adopt some explanation for it, usually untrue.

You can safely say that ‘being reasonable’ is a symptom of being unable to recognize outpoints for what they are and use them to discover actual situations.”

HCO P/L 30 September 1973 Issue II

    Data Series 30, Situation Finding

    (Management Series Vol. 1, p. 128)

“A lot of people are on a stuck flow of being sensible and sane — and that winds up in stupidity. So they get reasonable. Their confront of evil isn’t up to it — basically, their confront of outpoints.”

HCO P/L 18 March 1977RA

Data Series 43RA, Evaluation and Programs

    (Management Series Vol. 1, p. 167)

23. The corporate church has priced Scientology services far out of reach for the average man and woman. LRH references exist wherein he goes into detail about how to properly price auditing and training, so that the vast majority of public can realistically afford it. Per LRH, services should be priced within reach of the lower middle class. That is certainly NOT the case with today’s prices for services, which can only be realistically reached by those in the upper middle class or higher. This is a suppressive act, as it puts Scientology auditing and training out of reach for most people.

Prices should be set according to HCOPL 23 Sept 1964 which is actually based on “the average lower class of lower middle class pay scale.” Such is clearly not the case today, where it costs upwards of $29,000 to become an auditor in a Class V Org, if one is an IAS member. This is more than half a year’s salary at the U.S. median income. In fact, that figure represents 100% annual salary for the average lower class of the lower middle class today.

In Summary

I can no longer ignore that which is clearly right in front of my eyes. I have not-ised the many outpoints I have seen within the church for over two decades now, and have paid dearly for my non-confront of evil and my tacit agreement with the fallen state of my church.

I have taken the time to make my own evaluations of the hundreds of reports written by upstat Scientologists outside the corporate church, and have found them to be not only credible, but solidly backed up by LRH advices, policy, and tech. Most of what I’ve read is also consistent with my personal observations, experience, and reality.

The overwhelming body of evidence to hand proves to me that the Church of Scientology has been taken over and transformed into a dictatorship by one David Miscavige, and that he has turned it into his personal fiefdom. Voluminous testimony by scores of formerly well-respected, highly placed officers of the Church, tells a sordid tale of betrayal, violence, illegal acts, manipulation, suppression, lies, alterations, and outright destruction of the Church hierarchy by this one man.

It is abundantly clear to me, that this one man has quietly been destroying all that LRH, the Sea Org, and dedicated staffs built, in the 30 years before he wrested control away from the duly appointed officers of the Church. He is the primary driver of every outpoint listed in my write-up above.

“So we can assume that people who are a bit inclined to malign, knock apart and shoot the human race, and have that as their only goal, can get into Scientology and can remove things from the technical line, or pervert or alter things in the technical line, which then makes Scientology unworkable.”

“And the higher on a command line the power is drawn from, the wider area the alter-is covers.”

Until David Miscavige is brought to justice, and removed from his position of corporate control over the Church of Scientology International, I consider the corporate church and all who remain connected to it, to be PTS, and in lower conditions.

I hereby assign COB, David Miscavige the condition of Treason.

Resignation

In the By-laws of the Church of Spiritual Technology, LRH differentiates between the RELIGION of Scientology and the CHURCH of Scientology. He EXPLICITLY says that the RELIGION of Scientology and the CHURCH are not necessarily “co-terminal.”

Exact quote:

“Religion of Scientology” and “Church of Scientology” shall not necessarily be coterminal.” http://www.savescientology.com/cstbylaws.pdf

In light of the above, and the contents of this write-up, I now formally resign from the Church of Scientology and hereby declare myself to be an Independent Scientologist.

I’ve examined the stats of the corporate Church of Scientology, versus the stats of those upstat Scientologists who have been falsely declared and banished from their religion, and have found in favor of the banished. I now declare my allegiance to those who remain friends of LRH and the true technology of Dianetics and Scientology.

An Open Letter To My Friends by Debbie Cook

Dear Friends,

On 31 Dec 2011 I sent an email that I hoped would help Scientologists around the world to involve themselves in the direction of the Scientology Religion and also to remind them that LRH empowered all Scientologists to do all they can to keep things strictly to LRH tech and policy.

I never spoke to the press and asked that it be kept from them. I also made it clearly known to the Office of Special Affairs that I had no plans for any further action and asking that our family, friends and business associates not be pressured to “disconnect” from us.

In response I received no communication from the Church at all, but rather every one of my Scientology clients was instructed to disconnect from me and my company was tanked. Further, my Scientology friends and family were contacted and ordered to disconnect.

Further still the Church of Scientology filed suit against me, demanding a legal injunction requiring complete silence on the subject of Scientology and $300,000 in damages.

The first part of that legal action occurred on 9 Feb, where the Church’s legal counsel asked of the Texas courts to legally silence me. They withdrew that filing the very next day after the court heard a very small sample of the physical abuse committed behind the closed doors of the International Scientology Base. But that was thanks to the 100% support of Marty and Mike and a few others very dear friends who were there to help guide us through this. It was especially due to an attorney and his team who came from the very heavens.

I have since done some press interviews, only with the intention of making it clear that these issues of duress and confinement are not based on the scriptures of the Scientology religion or the works of L. Ron Hubbard. They are the doings of an individual or a few individuals. And that Scientology and L. Ron Hubbard are kind and caring and good.

Before me now is the damages case, where DM will demand millions of dollars in damages from me.

But for now, the first battle was won.

And for this, I want to thank from the bottom of my heart each and every one of you who supported me through this time, my true friends. From the well over one thousand people who sent emails and letters of support to the hundreds of people who donated to my legal defense, thank you!

In my moment of need, many stepped forward. People I knew and people I didn’t. Scientologists in “good standing” and those who aren’t. And Scientologists with some real heart-wrenching stories to tell. And not just Scientologists, but people from all faiths and all walks of life who saw that a great injustice was afoot and stepped forward to help prevent it. And together in this first round, we prevailed.

However, this fight is far from over and if truth is to prevail, your positive support and help will make all the difference.

Please know who I am. I support L Ron Hubbard. I have seen L Ron Hubbard’s technology create many miracles. There is no question in my mind that Scientology books and lectures as written by L Ron Hubbard hold tremendous benefit for anyone who just takes the writings as they are and applies them. I have seen the lame walk. I have seen emotionally broken people renewed. I have seen relationships healed. And I have seen these things over and over and over again. Nothing could ever shake my belief in the value of L Ron Hubbard’s philosophical writings.

I will do whatever is needed to ensure that the Scientology religion moves forward into the 21st Century in the spirit of love, compassion and kindness.

So that is who I am.

At this time, I have more friends than I had before I made this stand, far more. And we have our integrity. And it feels damn good.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Debbie Cook
