Scientology Order or Disorder?

references:

Scientology Inc Creating Independents

From HCO Policy Letter 7 September 1963:

There can be no personal security without easily accessible, swift and fair justice within a group.  The jurisprudence employed must be competent, acceptable to the members of the group and effective in accomplishing good order for the group and personal rights and security for its individual members.

Justice used for revenge, securing advantages for a clique, increases disorder.

Justice should serve as a means of establishing guilt or innocence and awarding damages to the injured.  The fact of its use should not preestablish guilt or award.  Justice which by its employment alone establishes an atmosphere of guilt or greed is harmful and creates disorder.

Justice should clarify.  Good justice in effect runs out group engrams.  Bad justice runs them in.

I have been working for some time on a system of justice acceptable to Scientologists and have evolved one in “Committees of Evidence.”  These work excellently by actual test and satisfy the requirements of justice.

I require that full use be made of these committees at once in all matters relating to Scientology organizations, groups and concerns.

I do not recommend that individuals in authority act in disciplinary measures or capacities without employing Committees of Evidence.

– L Ron Hubbard, Founder

The following occurred yesterday at the Mecca of Corporate Scientology.  It is typical of what has been happening just about every day at the ‘friendliest place in the world’ for the past several years.

My name is Uwe Stern, I am German and I am what you would call a pretty normal Scientology parishioner. I joined SCN in 1987.

I did not do much major courses, just the old HQS and a student hat (twice because of GAT) and got audited to Clear. I was a staff member at a Munich Mission (Scientology Mission of Nymphenburg) from 1989 to 1999, this mission is now  closed down because of financial irregs caused by a) the finance police and b) a corrupt mission holder afterwards (long story spare me the details). I was on staff for that mission for 10 years as a Treasury Director (I know, not very exciting, but someone has to do it and I am a number cruncher). I never was much interested in a technical post, admin is more my thing. During this time I had my share of weird management decisions of the church, handlings of the tax offices of Germany and OSA, the latter on a nearly daily basis.

Then I was posted for 2.5 yrs as Treasury Director at Munich Org finalizing 7 balance sheets under heavy (INT) pressure.

Because I also was on the board of the Mission Nymphenburg and per legal law of Germany the Board Members can be hold responsible for financial irregs and the Church did not move fast enough to really protect us, I decided to move to the US, my country of choice anyway (long story too) and arrived with my family (wife and daughter) in Clearwater in 2002.

Uwe Stern

Long story short, because of lack of funds we never really took any major steps on the bridge since. End of 2010 I found out about the weird stuff going on in the church. Not that I had no hints before that. Like being denied to leave the parking lot at Ruth Eckard Hall after the 2007 release of the basics event (buy or die, I nearly ran the car over that SO member stopping us). Or like seeing the flashy stats ALWAYS going up (no stat is always going up) on events I attended. Or like ……

But it still came as a surprise! How could I NOT have seen this earlier. Dumbass me.

This was followed by a 2 month full time research and ended with me quietly resigning from the Church. Of course there my marriage went, as I was not able to bring my then wife to see it too.

Fast forward to PT. I got a call from the Chief Student MAA of the coachmen. I was seen with an SP, Angela LeMay, at Starbucks. The MAA said someone had written a report. Me asking why I don’t have a copy of that report the MAA paddled back, saying it was a Things That Should Not Be report because the person reporting did not know for sure if I was how I am. Crap, she knows me very well, right  Desiree Lutz? (Ohh, that’s how it is done, label it TTSNB report so you don’t have to send a copy, laughable). I asked to see the declare and we made an appointment to meet the same day (did only wait for 10 mins, that’s a record).

I asked the MAA to show me the declare, which he did. On my question to get a copy the answer was “It is church property”, me asking if I can take a picture of it, same answer : no., no copy. The accusations in this declare were very vague. Just, she is connect to a squirrel group and ensnarled another church member with entheta (not the wording used, out of mind).

Me asking the MAA if she got a copy, him saying that he thinks she got one. I then confronting him with the fact she did not; it ending with him uttering something like “that should then be reported”. Me forgetting then to say that she probably did not get one as it is Church property.

Anyway, I also asked to see the report on me, never got to see it.

Now the juicy part. Me asking to see the comm Ev held on Angela, him answering that he does not have it nor has he seen it. Me then asking why she did not get one or at LEAST a phone call before hand. To which he had nothing to say. Me then confronting him with the fact that she knows about the report from facebook and that that would be a case of libeling; he could only utter “that should be reported”.

I then compared this to the Third Reich where there were “Blockwarts” (people assigned to a block to watch what other say and do to turn them in to the Gestapo).

He then wanted to know who enlighted me to the “dark” side (In fact I find it lighter) I just replied,  “I look and don’t listen.” Like reading the freedom mag from 2009 and the St. Petersburg Times and coming to the conclusion that the only thing both sides come to agree to is that there were beatings going on in the upper management of the church for ten years. I mean, if that would be any other corporation they would fire BOTH sides and control the damage and this Church is doing nothing for 10 years? Another reason for me I told him is the fact that the parishioners should spend their money on the bridge not on real estate. All comes down to the fact that the church does NOT live by it’s own policies.

Since I was not in the church for over 1year, I told him so. He then showed me the Suppressive Acts Policy on my question what would happen now to me. Saying that I could talk to everybody but that the policies would cover what would happen then. Which means there will be a Golden Rod issued on me as I am not disconnecting from anybody that I don’t see fit, That Golden Rod I probably never get to see. He also said I would by leaving the church and not be protected by policy. I can fortify that easily if policy obviously is not lived by the church.

I don’t regret my time within the fold, there were fun times too. I don’t know if I will continue with any Scientology services, but I have to say there is specifically at the lower end of the bridge a lot of truth for me in it. I am still operating on all the finance policies I studied. And, I will certainly not be doing ANY services in this organization.

Right now I am more into living life and enjoying life than anything else. Things I could not do previously because of lack of funds.

And I hope the Church as it is presenting itself now will die soon. The Tech should live on in the hands of the independents and made available to everybody who wants to use it for a fair exchange. But, I might not be part of that.

If you want to contact me you will find me on facebook or email me at uwe@mrwebwiz.com

Anybody Have a Viewpoint on Scientology Front Groups?

Ref:  Conscience – Scientology and Human Rights

Lisa Hamilton does, and allowed me to share our email conversation on the matter:

1:

Marty,
Hello.  I needed to write to you about your most recent posting.  And perhaps I am missing data, but it seems that what Mary Shuttleworth (who is not an SO member, but is public) is doing is a good thing by traveling around the world promoting the Declaration of Human Rights.  If this message is something that does get across it could change how people are being treated on the planet.
I knew Mary for many years in PAC and maybe this is why it struck me odd.  Mary has been traveling for many years.  I am guessing that she is at least partially funded by the IAS….I do remember her having trouble with funds.  I do know she is very passionate about her work and about Human Rights.  Having been on the road for so long and being so concentrated on Human Rights, it is very unlikely that she knows much about what is going on with DM.  Maybe she does.  If she doesn’t and she is doing good things for the planet, then she should be supported.
Yes, if DM gets credit for Mary’s hard work, that is disgusting.
It seems like a bit of a dilemma…if someone IS still associated with the CoS proper and they are doing good works and helping people I am not sure why we would speak out against what they are doing in order to harm DM.  If what Mary is doing is making a difference, she should be supported.  Unless she has changed drastically, she is a good and social personality.
In my mind, the right thing to do would be to expose the bad and support the good.
Maybe that is what you are saying to do.  The article seemed so full of hatred that I could not see it.
What you are doing for, in and with Independent Scientology is vital.
However, I do believe that there is good being done for the planet by people who are unfortunately still in the CoS.  I don’t think we should blanketly condemn them and their good works while we get rid of the real SP.  Yes, expose the suppressive, but don’t harm people of good will doing so.  Maybe this violates the greatest good for the greatest number of dynamics, but in Mary’s case anyway, she creates good effects across many.
I did not send this to your blog as it is just a comm from me to you.  It is my observation and of course you can do what you want with it.  However, I would appreciate your viewpoint on what my thoughts here are.
Lisa
2:
Lisa,
Hi. Yes, it is a dilemma. See the follow up post on Tony Ortega’s article.  The Human Rights campaign is being big-time funded by the church these days – using incredibly sophisticated a/v products, flying dignitaries around the world to attend events, hosting the same at lavish events at Scn celebrities’ homes.  All date coincident with Truth Rundown original series, summer 09.  Bless Mary for her work.  Pity her for being used as a tool to unwittingly be used to cover for the most heinous human trafficking operation in recent American history.  As a note, I am not trying to harm David Miscavige. I am working to prevent the continuing harm he visits upon others, and from my perspective, because of his position, all of humankind.  I’d love to post your email to me and my answer, if you believe that would be helpful.
Marty
3:
Marty,
Thanks a lot for your answer.  This indeed was a helpful perspective.  I did look at Tony Ortega’s posting and that made sense too.  I am so glad that any Independent Scientology individual can share and discuss their viewpoints and work together to make the world better.  It is so very different from being within the organization (and especially in the current Sea Organization) where you are afraid to say what you think or you expect to be put on the meter for an Ethics Interview to FIND YOUR CRIMES if you express an idea/opinion that may question what was said.
Feel free to share this with others. Thanks for being there.
Take care,
Lisa

Scientology and Human Rights

David Miscavige has Corporate Scientology buying and defrauding politicians right, left and center in a systematic scheme to cover up his human trafficking operation with Human Rights.  Check out Senator Harry Reid’s latest endorsement.

Here is another Opinion Leader in the field unwittingly pimping for the biggest, most blatant human rights abuser in recent American history:

Mountain View Human Rights event.

The longer David Miscavige gets away with such fraudulent activity, the longer he is enabled to run his torture camp activities.  In order to put period to this blatant travesty I believe it is incumbant upon us to expose it.

Each time Miscavige puts out a “PR wire” press release or holds an event on Human Rights using prominent folk to front for him, I suggest that constituents, and industrious non-constituents, of such used personages expend a little time getting the truth to them about how they are being used.

You can inform them with the abundant available links about the only legitimate Human Rights work that is going on in the world of Scientology at this time; that of Independent Scientologists attempting to shut down Miscavige’s personal house of horrors at the international Scientology Inc headquarters.

It might seem oxymoronic at first  glance that this should be the important first step in correcting Scientology’s public identification with Human Rights violations.   But, if you read the Axioms of Dianetics and Scientology I think you’ll understand that to bury the truth and allow lies and crimes to continue  will result in persistence. Until the continued perpetration of the crimes and continued perpetuation of it by such false propaganda as we see above is exposed and ended, the rights violations will proliferate unabated.   Ultimately, unchecked Miscavige’s cult lunacy and cruelty will create destruction of such magnitude that he will forever destroy the name under which he is performing them, Scientology.

The lives of the people continuing to be adversely effected by David Miscavige’s insanity are worth the effort to educate.

Here are two suggested primer links to begin the educational process on the types of human rights abuses these opinion leaders are perpetuating and protecting in the name of Human Rights.

The Truth Rundown

Debbie Cook tells the Hole Truth

The FBI and Scientology Inc

Tony Ortega at the Village Voice published an interesting story on the spiking of the FBI investigation into David Miscavige, supreme leader of Scientology Inc’s human trafficking operation.

If someone wants to really understand how Scientology Inc is able to manipulate the highest levels of America’s most powerful law enforcement agency they should read the two references I suggested Tony read.

First, read Matt Taibbi’s epic story in Rolling Stone magazine, Why Isn’t Wall Street in Jail?    Taibbi’s expose of corporate corruption at the top of the US federal government is very accurate.  It has been going on for decades, and over three decades under the direction of David Miscavige I helped Scientology Inc perfect how to capitalize on that filth bucket.

Second, if you want a post-graduate level understanding read Lawrence Wright’s book The Looming Tower.   Wright was deservedly awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 2007 for this work.  His description of the political and money motivated systemic corruption of the FBI tracks on all four corners with what I observed in interfacing with them (and out-maneuvering them) over three decades.

Don’t get too worked up.  I’ve been saying it for three years and I’ll say it again. The solution to Scientology Inc is not ‘over there’; it is in the hands of Scientologists.   Independent Scientologists who take responsibility for the subject by proliferating its practice in a safe and sane manner.

Another PR Crisis?

ABC news dubs Miscavige’s abuse and torture as Another Scientology PR Crisis.  (Good Morning America coverage).  Ya think?

More in depth coverage is scheduled for tonight’s ABC Nightline.

Tony Ortega at the Village Voice has published a bunch of Cook litigation related documents, at Inside the Alamo.   The last letter that Tony posts is a not so subtle threat toward Debbie’s counsel Ray Jeffrey.  Standard operating procedure for corporate Scientology: when the law doesn’t support you – argue the facts, when the facts don’t suport you – argue the law, when the facts and law go against you – destroy opposition counsel by any means necessary.  Dave apparently missed the memo, the Cold War ended for everybody else a couple of decades ago.

Stay tuned for updates throughout the day.

I have a feeling that exposure of Miscavige’s sickness is going viral today.

UPDATE 8:08 a.m.: Battered Woman Syndrome. Marc Yager is the unidentified individual who wrote to ABC denying that Miscavige beat him. Over the past 2 1/2 years Yager has been doing little other than writing statements denying Miscavige beats him. He may yet turn into the most curious and widely studied case of battered woman syndrome.

Scientology Inc’s Lobbying Machine

Some commented on the posts of the last couple days on Scientology Inc’s Washington Lobbying apparatus that there did not seem to be much money involved.  Well, based on the work of the folks at Why We Protest and Karen #1 in just a few hours a different picture emerges.

As to Greg Mitchell,  see Secular Invasion of Washington , according to documentation available at Campaignmoney.com, between 2008 and the first quarter of 2011, he received $290,000 from Scientology Inc:

Here is a shot of Greg doing his best Bill Clinton Jr impression:

Greg "Little Bubba" Mitchell

As to Joe Grieboski, see Corporate Scientology Mercenary, and his Scientology Inc front group Institute  on Religion and Public Policy, check out this Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax for 2006:

Scn Inc Institute

Note, this form covers a time closer to form-up. You can bet that in later years quite a few more greenbacks made their way through its coffers.   Also note that David Miscavige’s personal attorney, Monique Yingling, is listed as a director along with Scientology Incers Luis Colon and Judy Cranford.

Vice president of the board is one Bill Walsh.  Walsh is the character that accompanied Yingling on Miscavige’s six man mission to Denver in April 2009.  Their target?  To shudder Mike Rinder into silence so as to spike the original St Pete Times series The Truth Rundown.  Result? Epic Fail.

Bill Walsh does little else than serve as a yes-man to David Miscavige.   In fact, he nods in agreement so much that Mike Rinder and I have referred to him as a very expensive bobbing-head doll.  With that in mind, consider this: Walsh was pulling in close to a 1/2 million dollars a year from Scientology Inc over multiple years.  As late as 2007, an Office of Special Affairs financial planning document referred to Walsh’s nearly 1/2 million dollar a year production as “spectator work.”

If a non-productive bobbing-head doll can pull in nearly 1/2 million dollars a year from Scn Inc, what do you suppose they are paying their heavy hitters?

Effective or not, do some math and recognize what your fees have really bought.

Ghost of Tom Joad

Apropos of the season, a little grown up talk about lessons of Jesus, compassion and sacrifice.

Most of what the world might still consider admirable about the character of Americans was born during the Great Depression: economy, brotherhood, compassion for one’s fellows, sacrifice, alertness and willingness to fight back on principle and not for personal gain.

One major reason why Corporate Scientology is dead is because it condemns those values.

Another reason it is dead is that it long ago sold out utterly to blood-sucking, profiteering corporate America.  Every fiber of the organization is geared toward racketeering on bubble-created disposable income.

The only way Scientology will survive what is here and what is coming is through a completely different paradigm than that represented by corporate Scientology.  90% of Americans cannot afford corporate Scientology.  Its doors are welded shut to the people the philosophy was created for.

In case anyone hasn’t been watching and studying, the ranks of those with bubble-created disposable income in America is decreasing by the day.  And if you’ve really studied world socio-economics you will understand that the days of ‘something-for-nothing prosperity’ are never coming back again.   Only the fat criminals who have gamed the United States government into being  their enforcement arm will continue to wildly profit.

This is not a political pitch for the right or the left.

The far right is doing everything in its power to turn America into a ghetto to rape and plunder  into abject poverty (reference: Griftopia by Mat Tabbai).  And their rank and file don’t even understand they are working against their own interests. The far left wants to create a welfare society that chokes the initiative and lifeblood out its people.  And their rank and file don’t even see it coming.

In politics, as in religion, philosophy, and life itself the best practice is along the Great Middle Path.

Unfortunately, in times such as these where so many feel the need to cling to extremes (‘desperate times call for desperate measures’), the simple, ethical minority who value integrity, principle, and humanity are labeled by both extremes as the extremists.

I tend to agree with Jesus that in the end the meek shall inherit the earth.

However, I believe it will be the principled, strong who keep them alive to see that day.

In my opinion, the ones who will make a difference in the end are the Tom Joads of the world.  Reference: Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck.

The Ghost Of Tom Joad
Men walkin’ ‘long the railroad tracks
Goin’ someplace there’s no goin’ back
Highway patrol choppers comin’ up over the ridge
Hot soup on a campfire under the bridge
Shelter line stretchin’ round the corner
Welcome to the new world order
Families sleepin’ in their cars in the southwest
No home no job no peace no rest

The highway is alive tonight
But nobody’s kiddin’ nobody about where it goes
I’m sittin’ down here in the campfire light
Searchin’ for the ghost of Tom Joad

He pulls prayer book out of his sleeping bag
Preacher lights up a butt and takes a drag
Waitin’ for when the last shall be first and the first shall be last
In a cardboard box ‘neath the underpass
Got a one-way ticket to the promised land
You got a hole in your belly and gun in your hand
Sleeping on a pillow of solid rock
Bathin’ in the city aqueduct

The highway is alive tonight
But where it’s headed everybody knows
I’m sittin’ down here in the campfire light
Waitin’ on the ghost of Tom Joad

Now Tom said “Mom, wherever there’s a cop beatin’ a guy
Wherever a hungry newborn baby cries
Where there’s a fight ‘gainst the blood and hatred in the air
Look for me Mom I’ll be there
Wherever there’s somebody fightin’ for a place to stand
Or decent job or a helpin’ hand
Wherever somebody’s strugglin’ to be free
Look in their eyes Mom you’ll see me.”

The highway is alive tonight
But nobody’s kiddin’ nobody about where it goes
I’m sittin’ downhere in the campfire light
With the ghost of old Tom Joad

The Corrupt Obama Administration

Here is the White House Petition response sent to my email address, the same response that was apparently sent to all who signed the peitition to EXAMINE THE GOVERNMENT’S FAILURE TO INVESTIGATE CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY CRIME, FRAUD AND ABUSE:

From: The White House <info@messages.whitehouse.gov>
To: rathbunmark@yahoo.com

Subject: Petition Response: Why We Can’t Comment on this Petition about the Church of Scientology

Why We Can’t Comment on this Petition about the Church of Scientology

Thank you for signing the petition “EXAMINE THE GOVERNMENT’S FAILURE TO INVESTIGATE AND PROSECUTE CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY CRIME, FRAUD AND ABUSE.” We appreciate your participation in the We the People platform on WhiteHouse.gov.

The We the People Terms of Participation explain that “the White House may decline to address certain procurement, law enforcement, adjudicatory, or similar matters properly within the jurisdiction of federal departments or agencies, federal courts, or state and local government.” The Department of Justice is charged with investigating federal crimes and enforcing federal criminal laws. Accordingly, the White House declines to comment on the specific law enforcement matter raised in this petition.

Here is my response to that email:

Stay tuned to markrathbun.wordpress.com.   You have made an election year error of magnitude.

I had already worked on an analysis and handling to post concerning an anticipated response such as this – it is about what I expected.  I am holding it till early this week when a) the next installment of the St Pete Times has been aired and thoroughly discussed, and b) I am of a cooler, more rational frame of mind.

As many of you know I did not originate this petition, and have never advocated depending on any agency to solve the corrupt corporate church of Scientology.   But, when I read the petition, I immediately signed on and encouraged others to do the same. Any injustice gone unremedied is another nail in the coffin of humanity.  Now that we are engaged, the game ain’t over till the fat lady sings.

A little secret only Miscavige, Mike Rinder and I know.  Remember all those  confessions that Mike and I signed that corporate Scientology made such a big deal of in their Freedom mags?  They were coerced as Mike and I have noted.  However, there is a strong grain of truth to some of them.  The ones where we take responsibility for alleged gigantic external legal and PR problems – what is true is that we did take responsibility for them.   Now, here is the rub. We DID take responsibility for every tough break the church got in the past thirty years enroute to establishing immunity and Miscavige never did, even though his fingerprints were all over every loss.   We hung in when the going got tough and ultimately saw that we prevailed on all fronts.  Of course, Miscavige – who took no responsibility for any of the hard knocks suffered along the way – took all credit for the ultimate victories.

In other words, Miscavige is a fraud.  A sniveling, punk coward.  Not a single one of the billionaire Wall Street con men whose greed destroyed the US economy over the past decade was indicted, let alone convicted.   For the very same reasons Miscavige – an habitual, repeat felon – walks free: MONEY.   That – according to everything that the core principles of Scientology stand for, let alone the United States of America – denotes weakness of the most insidious kind.

We – on the other hand – are from the school of the hard knocks.  We haven’t even broke a sweat in all the monkey business corporate Scientology has thrown our way over the past two years.  Plan accordingly.

Wake Up Time for the White House

Just when we all thought it was time to take a collective breath of relief, what do you know?   At the very time we were shoulder to the wheel on the final stretch of the White House Petition to investigate the corruption between the highest levels of the US Department of Justice and David Miscavige’s Corporate Scientology,  the highest levels of the US Department of Justice were scheming with Miscavige to use the credibility of the United States government to wipe out any lingering truth in the public’s mind about Corporate Scientology’s rampant Human Rights violations.   Here is the incredible, blatant evidence in the form of an email flier being sent out en masse by the Seattle Corporate Scientology organization:

Know Your Human Rights!

You are invited to an evening discussion

on human rights featuring:

Kareem W. Shora, Senior Policy Advisor

Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties,

U.S. Department of Homeland Security;

Senator Maralyn Chase

on the importance of educating

our children on civil rights.

You read it right, the Department of Justice is lending the name and presence of its “SENIOR POLICY ADVISOR” on Civil Rights, Civil Liberties, and Homeland Security to overtly pimp and pander for David Miscavige by promoting Corporate “Scientology’s Human Rights Campaign!” (note, while a technical argument can be made Homeland Security is different than the Department of Justice – see footnote below, Homeland Security ultimately answers to the head of the Department, the Attorney General)fn

If this does not immediately shock your sense of right and wrong, then I implore you to re-read the following post:

https://markrathbun.wordpress.com/2011/09/25/petition-the-president-of-the-united-states/

If you do not have the background on the tomes of evidence that have been provided to the Department of Justice that serve as the foundation for the original FBI Human Trafficking investigation, then please read the entire Truth Rundown series in the St Petersburg Times:

In a way Miscavige has just strenghtened, as is his wont these days, the next move I was working on. Knowing the White House is shackled by its own devotion to politics and the money that requires, I knew the White House petition was only the next step in the struggle.

This latest event provides the evidence required for phase II.

Certain Independents have already began paving the way to the Congressional Oversight committees that exist to police corruption within US government agencies.  Now, armed with evidence of how overt and unabashed the collusion between Corporate Scientology and the Department of Justice has become, it is time in my view to communicate loud and clear to the members of the appropriate Congressional committees to start preparing, because chances appear great that the White House is about to deliver a White Wash for the benefit of the biggest perpetrator of slavery on American soil since the Jim Crow era.

My suggested course of action is as follows:

a. Review the members of the House Oversight Committee and the Senate Oversight Committee.  Determine which ones that you are a constituent of.

House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform members:

http://oversight.house.gov/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=191&Itemid=19

Senate Committee On The Judiciary members:

http://judiciary.senate.gov/about/members.cfm

b. Write to appropriate members of the House and Senate Committees asking them to take note of what appears to be every indication that the “church” of Scientology has not only bought the Department of Justice to back off a two-year, momemtum gaining investigation but to go the extra yard and promote the suspects as defenders of the very rights they were being investigated for destroying wholesale on American soil.

As far as evidence is concerned, I would print off and utilize the flier and the two links that I have provided above – in addition to whatever else you believe is relevant to the specific communication you would like to deliver.   In anticipation of corporate Scientology attempts to attack the credibility of my linked post above, you might want to note that this little blog that could, on its little unfunded lonesome is visited by far more readers than all multi-million dollar Corporate Scientology sites combined – by a very long shot.  The specifics as of today, according to Alexa (the Web Information Company) are as follows:

Moving On Up A Little Higher  traffic rank in the US:  23, 383

Scientology.org (with all front groups linking back   :  52,548

c.  Ask for a meeting so that the member may be briefed by witnesses who observed first-hand the buy out of the United States Department of Justice at the highest levels.  As of Nov 15 I am willing to travel to visit with any US Representative or Senator on the above committees, provided someone covers the travel cost.

d.  March on the Seattle church of Scientology to arrive at 6 p.m. on Wednesday October 26th.  If  I were not committed to a pc visiting from across the country, I would be there myself, demanding entrance to confront Mr Shora with the evidence of the atrocities he is helping to cover up and promote.  I may still find a way to get there. If an industrious Seattle Indie has some time to devote to organizing, you’ve got a bee line to me between now and then.

I believe it is time to increase the volume of the alarm to wake up the White House. Even assuming this is all going on unbeknownst to the White House, it demonstrates just how smug the US Department of Justice is and just how confident it is that President Obama will cover Eric Holder’s and Robert Swan Mueller’s rear ends. I believe it is time to act.   I believe it was situations like these that L Ron Hubbard was talking about when he uttered the following words in 1960:

We are not helpless There is something we can do about it. We can tell you the wrong thing to do always.  That’s nothing. Nothing is the greatest overt act you can commit.  If you don’t believe it, run into it sometime on your case.  The times you did nothing: those were the overt acts.  Well we needn’t be guilty of it in this particular lifetime, because you’ve got just as big a share in this as I have, as anybody has.  And with your knowingness goes a certain increased responsibility. That’s a terrible thing, isn’t it?  You say, “Well, I want to know more about this.”  The second you know more about it, you’re more responsible for it. Do you realize that? – 3 January 1960 Zones of Control and Responsibility of Governments

The Road We Must Travel

As of this writing the petition to the White House to investigate the Department of Justice’s cover up of the ongoing crimes of David Miscavige contains 3,702 signatures.   I haven’t campaigned actively on the issue even though I have periodically offered more evidence supporting the premises of the petition.

Some have commented, and even used as a motivation for more action, that Miscavige will take a big win if the number does not reach the 5,000 threshold requiring White House response.  I don’t want to dampen any effective arguments people are using to garner more support. At the same time I have something to say about this one in particular. If David Miscavige takes a win on somewhere on the order of 4,000 people taking the bold step of putting their John Hancock’s to a petition to investigate him, the times they are a changing.  Two years ago I would venture that less than a 1,000 people would be willing to make that move.

That 4,000 people of every different stripe – Independent Scientologists, ex-Scientologists, anti-Scientologists, Anonymous activists, Methodists, Mormans, Catholics, Episcopalians, Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, you name it – can come together on the issue of Corporate Scientology crime, and act in unison (many even leaving evidence of where they might be found),  the times they are a changing.

For every one of you who signed the petition, and especially to those of you who encouraged others to – regardless of how many more join you – you are heroes in my book.   You have stepped up to the plate and you have looked the beast in the eye and have said, “Down boy!”    Whether the Administration hears you or not, I’ll tell you one person who has heard you loud and clear – David Miscavige.  And whether he claims a “win” or a “lose” is meaningless; believe me, he hears your footsteps and in that wise you have helped tremendously in the process of slowly but surely de-fanging the monster.

This is not my petition.  I did publicize it and encourage people to sign it in a Sept 27 post in which I gave reasons why I thought it warranted support,  https://markrathbun.wordpress.com/2011/09/25/petition-the-president-of-the-united-states/.

I noted in that post that,

Whether the 5000 target is met or not does not relieve the Administration from its duty to investigate and remedy the filth and corruption going on between our Department of Justice and America’s most dangerous cult. But, the more people who sign the more chance there is that justice might be done.

Well, so far you all have provided 3,702 more reasons for the White House to act.  Thank you to all 3,702 of you.

If the petition winds up with 4,321 signatures or 5,500 signatures that will be another 619 or 1,798 reasons why the Administration ought to do its job, and those many more reasons why the oppressor ought to watch its step.

To those continuing to work tirelessly toward the 5,000 threshold, every additional name is golden as are you.

From the irreppressible Steve Hall:

We DEFINITELY CAN MAKE THIS TARGET and I am going to tell exactly HOW to do it. Facts: We have 5 days left including today. We got 250 signatures just last night. We need 1,272 more that is 254 per day. We are no where near tapped out. MAKE A LIST OF 10 PEOPLE (or more — go through your cell phone numbers) and SEND EACH PERSON the following email which I wrote yesterday:

Dear

I have a favor to ask. For about two years the FBI was conducting an investigation into the Church of Scientology. It was a serious investigation into human trafficking and obstruction of justice. Many ex-members of the CoS spoke with Federal Agents. However the CoS paid some huge money and apparently got someone (the Attorney General?) in the Justice Department to spike the whole thing. The two lead agents were transferred. So we are fighting back and one of the solutions we discovered was that the White House said if we could get 5,000 signatures on a petition, the President would look into the matter and make a statement. So we have already more than 3,725 signatures. We have 5 days left and need about 1,275 more — only about 255 a day, which we can definitely do (we did 250 Tuesday night). Can you and your family members please sign the White House Petition immediately to investigate why the FBI investigation was spiked, who spiked it, and also to restart the investigation into Church of Scientology criminality?

1) It takes only about 20 seconds to register — just put in your name and email address.

2) They will send you an email, with a link. Click on the link in the email.

3) Click on “Sign the Petition” and you’re done. Your privacy is protected and no one can actually see your last name.

Obviously we need as many people as possible to sign it immediately, so if you know anyone else that can sign it, please have at it.

Signed,
