Lying in Miscavige’s $70 Million Bunker

Miscavige and his minions are painting themselves into the lower corner of the RTC bunker by virtue of being forced to make sworn representations; a slippery slope for a pack of liars.

Warren McShane swore out a complaint to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office. A copy of the resultant Sheriff’s report was obtained by the Headleys’ lawyers and it was filed in their cases in support of their opposition to the church’s motion for summary judgment. A link to the document, along with the Church’s urgent motion to strike it from the record, is at the bottom of this report. Note in the motion that the church denies Warren made any such report to the Sheriff.

The complaint was filed based on a photo of Tom Cruise’s and David Miscavige’s motorcycles appearing on my blog. (words in italics are quotations from the official documents.)

Mr McShane handed me a colored copy of a digital photograph that had been posted on Mr. Rathbun’s web site on April 23, 2010. The site information is listed as follows: https://markrathbun.blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/bikesbuilding50.jpg

Warren really did wonders for the church’s future tax exemption and for ongoing criminal investigations into his boss. He made it very clear to the Sheriff that the hundreds of hours of work performed on those personal bikes of his and Tom Cruise were “operations and projects of the Church of Scientology”:

It appears that much, if not all, the information and images contained in the two computers are proprietary in nature related to the internal operations and projects of the Church of Scientology.”

The projects and all the material, data, and images associated with these projects were described as not for public consumption, and proprietary to the Church of Scientology.”

Warren has undermined any future dead agent packs that try to attack JB’s credentials for future appearances:

JB was an employee of Religious Technology Center (RTC), which is under the supervision of Mr. McShane. JB did not have an official title within RTC, however, due to his tenure with the church and his unique skill set he was an integral part or the lead on many high profile internal church projects.”

Warren confirmed that all base personnel (with the exception of JB, and of course he is now gone) had no access to the internet absent restricting filters:

JB’s internet computer was different from other employees, in that it did not have any filters and JB could search the internet without restrictions.”

McShane swears to the Sheriff, that with the exception of JB – and of course he’s gone – no “church members/employees…enjoy…freedom of movement”:

On April 22, 2010 (Thursday) at approximately 0730 hours JB left the main facility driving his privately owned vehicle. It was not clear where he was going, or the nature of the trip, however it was not unusual for JB to come and go due to his work projects. His ability to come and go from the facility is in contrast to other church members/employees, who do not enjoy the same freedom of movement.”

McShane has established that RTC hired professionals to put my home and family under constant surveillance for an indefinite – but clearly lengthy, general – period of time. Hence it should go a long way in proving that RTC, Dave’s org, is utterly responsible for every invasion of privacy and harassment they have committed to date :

Mr. McShane told me RTC had previously contracted with a private security firm in the State of Texas, to monitor Mr. Rathbun’s activities.”

Now, a little back story before I continue. Miscavige told me on several occasions that there was one reason and one reason alone that Warren McShane remained in RTC after the 1987 take over. That is, “Warren is such a good liar, who else is going to handle RTC depositions and declarations?” Miscavige told McShane to his face that if it weren’t for his lying abilities he’d be busted to Gold to do MEST work the rest of his life.

Now, check this out:

According to Mr. McShane, JB was spotted by the security detail on April 24, 2010 meeting with Mr. Rathbun at a restaurant in the City of Ingleside, Texas.”

Interesting, since by April 24th JB had not even entered the state of Texas since his 22 April departure from the Int base. Obviously, JB had not set foot in the city of Ingleside, had not met with me and had not dined with me by April 24.

The security detail reported that at the conclusion of the meeting they followed JB to a “Best Western” motel in the City of Ingleside. The security detail called Mr. McShane and advised him of JB’s arrival and the meeting.”

JB never stayed at a motel in the city of Ingleside, ever – not to this day. JB never ventured within 22 miles of Ingleside by the time he was ambushed by Tommy Davis, Angie Blanenship, Laurance Barram Stumpke, and Bob Wright – which as we shall see McShane admitted to later.

Mr. McShane summoned (4) church members/employees who know JB the best and sent them to Texas to attempt to contact him and perhaps persuade him to return to the facility in Hemet, CA.”

According to Mr. McShane the four dispatched employees were able to contact JB in the lobby of the Best Western motel on April 26th or 27th 2010. The group tried to persuade JB to return with them. JB retreated to his room and refused to come out or speak with the group.” (For the record, Warren, it was 28 April)

That’s funny, Tommy Davis (Tommy, of course, needs no introduction as to his history and proclivity for lying) has told at least two reporters that I know of that the Texas Op never happened and he never set foot in Texas. Yet, he testified under oath (in the Headley case) that he went to Texas. But, he again lied claiming that he went there to fetch JB on his own determinism and specifically was not “summoned” by McShane (as McShane told the Sheriff), nor by his female “supervisor” nor Miscavige.

Q: Did your supervisor tell you to go see him?

A: No, she did not.

Q: So, why did you go to Texas to see John?

A: Because he is a very good friend of mine.

Q: So no one sent you to see Mr. Brousseau?

A: No.

And so, I suppose in aid of David Miscavige’s ongoing efforts to lose the church’s tax exemption, Tommy testified that the private jet charter (no doubt paid by the church) that sent 20 people to Texas was a wholly “personal affair.”

Q: And you were visiting him as part of your job duties for the Church of Scientology?

A: No, I was not.

Of course, McShane failed to mention the other sixteen people that accompanied Tommy, went to my home, blocking the street with four cars in order to prevent me from rescuing JB from Tommy’s gang of four. Let’s see what Tommy had to say about that under oath:

Q: And at the time that you were visiting Mr. Brousseau, is it true that there also were a number of vehicles that were sent to the home of Marty Rathbun?

A: I don’t know of anybody that sent them. Nobody sent anybody anywhere.

Now, back to more McShane lying.

There are three motorcycles parked in front of a fountain with the structure behind the fountain. Mr. McShane told me the motorcycles are privately owned by members of the church. According to Mr. McShane the photo was taken in 2005 by employee Yvonne Gonzalvez, using JB’s personal digital camera.”

The church’s lawyers raised a hue and cry that the report from which I quote could not possibly be publicly available because it could compromise an ongoing investigation. Well, I wonder whether these pricey legal Einsteins bothered to read the report. If they’d read it, they’d have found out why it couldn’t possibly be an “ongoing investigation”. The damn pictures in question were taken with JB’s personal camera as McShane himself acknowledges to the Sheriff.

I wonder whether those legal beagles thought through how they would ever explain to a judge that the “proprietary “products” that the church claims are in danger of duplication and undercut are a couple of custom motorcycles and a space age tanning booth produced with slave labor.

Not to mention the fact that everything JB took with him is relevant and credible evidence of felonies committed by David Miscavige.

The insertion of Gonzalvez was another McShane lie.

Finally, McShane had this to say to the investigators:

Mr McShane told me the structure in the digital image is the front of the RTC Administration building, located across the street from us.” (Note the present tense – indicating the Sheriff’s deputies taking the report were sitting across the street from Temple Miscavige while taking the report, no doubt being doted upon by Cathy Frasier and Muriel D).

And in the photo at issue – taken in 2005 – there is an RTC symbol etched in the expensive, bullet proof glass entrance to prove it is the RTC building. One little problem: Warren said “is”, not “was.” And thus, Warren accidentally told a truth.

Did you know that Jenny Linsen, and a host of other Miscavige insiders, supplied sworn declarations to the St Pete Times (the ones designed to bury Mike Rinder, Amy Scobee, Tom Devocht and I) claiming that the RTC 70 million dollar palace in question was never RTC, was never intended to be for RTC, but instead was always planned to be CSI’s HQ and has been since its construction? While ordering that perjury, Miscavige also ordered, and obtained compliance, that the 30 foot by 20 foot bullet proof glass over the front entrance be replaced. Why? To replace the multi-thousand dollar RTC symbol etched into the glass with a multi-thousand dollar etching of the CSI symbol. All done as part of his cover-up that he spent 70 million dollars for his own personal, 55,000 square foot office palace. All measures taken after I called him out on it.

It is the same building Miscavige and his personal staff occupy to this day.

You know what it is like to live a lie? You gotta remember the lie and all the subsequent cover up lies all the time so as not to get caught out in another lie. I reckon you all know that because you broke that cycle for good on Grade II and/or OT II.

Imagine for a moment the personal hell that Miscavige lives day in and day out. Not only does he live a lie and lies habitually, he orders his inner circle to lie continuously; and under oath. He even spends tens of thousands of dollars altering MEST to conform with his lies.

Memo to Warren, Jenny and Tommy:

I know that you had to learn to remorselessly lie to remain close to the top. It is a survival requirement. Regardless of the manner in which I have reported facts here, I want you to know that there are many people out here who will receive you with open arms and help you get rapidly onto your feet to live honest, productive, and happy lives. Scientology actually works. Clean hands actually do make a happy life.

Memo to Dave:

You have apparently fully accomplished what you are so fond of accusing others of, buying your own bullshit. You have surrounded yourself with liars you created and so your mocked up universe continues on its dwindling spiral unabated. But, don’t worry, your one source of accurate information on the true state of affairs concerning Scientology is still broadcasting daily strong and clear, Moving On Up A Little Higher.

The Legacy of the Tech

For the past several days I’ve been sharing some thoughts. To some it evidently sounded like reactive venting. In fact, for the past two weeks, and throughout this thought-sharing period, I have been auditing others and solo auditing daily and I believe I have been expressing emotion appropriate to the circumstances I face. While I meant everything I wrote, I was also conducting a differentiation drill and a roll call or sorts. The former is important from time to time in order to pursue the larger goal successfully. A number of OSA Intelligence Black Ops lines were revealed and rendered ineffective in the process. Further, one learns in Scientology training and practice that the biggest lie in this universe is that we are all one – all the same – a=a=a. People who day in and day out promote the idea that we are all the same, we are all headed in the same direction, and thus every misdirected entheta attempt to cave people in is A-Ok, are on a more subtle level accomplishing the same goal as Miscavige’s.

The latter (roll call) came to me from an LRH Guardian’s Office Order, later converted to an OSA NW Order, in which he told of the Swedes’ success in World War Two to illustrate and convey the datum: small groups, well organized, and with a higher purpose can defeat the largest and best armed armies. You don’t survive a billion dollar war machine directed at your head by holding hands and singing Kumbaya.

I extend a heartfelt thanks to those who answered the call on back channels as well as here.

For those upset that I am not issuing orders, realize I am not trying to create followers. I am trying to create leaders. Originated, effective action that aligns with shared purpose is what is called for.

I truly believe that for any of us to make it we must as individuals walk through the valley of the shadow of death alone. Only through that process can one be certain of his or her own state of case, untainted by a 1.1 cult culture organized to create cloying, unquestioning followers. Those who have gone through that experience in life are those whose counsel I most value.

I know this sounds esoteric and vague to some, and blasphemous to others. But, I think that is partly due to residual left over from the C of M implantation of Reverse Scientology. The group think that says we must have a certain structure, we must have clear-cut direction from above, we must have a hierarchy that tells us which way is up, we cannot entertain an independent thought – and Lord forbid, a created thought that does not align with what we have been told we must know in order to conduct our lives properly.

As far as what Scientology can achieve and where it leads, I happen to agree with LRH’s description of LOGIC ONE (from the PDC):

Now in view of the fact that Scientology is the science of knowing how to know, we have to have some definition of knowledge. Now these logics as they are written here have to be rewritten slightly for the echelon of Scientology in which we are operating, which is to say the make-break of universes.

Logic One is knowledge as a whole group. There are lists of these around, in these various books. Knowledge as a whole group or subdivision of a group of data or speculations and conclusions on data or methods of gaining data. That pins knowledge down as data. And that’s true for homo sapiens. And that is true for the type of logic homo sapiens uses.

That does not happen to be the highest level of knowledge. The highest level of knowledge is the potential of – it’s an action definition – the potential of knowing how to know. And that consists of simply the potential of knowing how to know. I’m sorry, but that’s all there is to it. And how do you know? Well, in order to know how to know you have to be free to postulate knowledge. And the freedom to postulate knowledge creates the data which then arranges itself as bodies of knowledge. So, you want to know what your highest echelon of knowledge possibly could be? It would probably be complete freedom to make the postulate to form any datum or group of data without even making the postulate to do so.

And that would be knowing how to know. So Logic One should be rewritten: Knowing how to know is the definition of the highest level of knowingness. And that level of knowingness is the freedom to state a postulate which then can become knowledge. Now that’s very simple.

The church of Scientology, by its actions every day, condems this LRH statement of purpose for the entire subject as the worst kind of heresy.

I have been working steadily and will continue to along the following lines in order to make the attainment of that statement of purpose possible:

  1. Differentiate the subject of Scientology from the Church of Scientology.
  2. Differentiate L Ron Hubbard from David Miscavige.
  3. Sort out confusions in the murky 81-pt period as to what is Scientology and what are clever alterations intended to reverse its potential.  Despite what some vehemently assert – and rather accusastively toward those actually working to sort it out – LRH Tech compilations were many years behind LRH’s advices for updates (see Joe Howard’s article at Scientology-cult.com for more detail). So, that is no easy task. And no, it won’t get done by an internet discussion group attended by any Tom, Dick or C of M plant having an undirected free for all.
  4. Make LRH tech broadly available so as to make Ron’s postulate that “the work was free” stick.  Which is my proof that my intentions as to #3 are untainted by financial or status considerations.
  5. Make it safe to practice Scientology outside the wall.

In a phrase, preserve the legacy of the tech.

Oh yeah, sometimes I gotta shake the cur dogs off my pant leg rather violently.

Sorry if that ruffles some feathers.

Blood Money

Having recently recognized the depravity with which Miscavige and OSA are executing their programs to destroy me and other friends, I’ve thought more about the manner in which the RS enablers are being handled.  I think we are being are being far too timid and mild about the well-heeled bots who continue to contribute to Miscavige’s billion dollar facade and Black Ops.

I hear the arguments go something like this: well, they are well intentioned just like we were when we were bots.  There are a couple things wrong with that argument.  First, assumed identities are not the same.   When we were bots the following was evident to staff and public:

a.  Services were being delivered in orgs.

b. There were public in orgs.

c. There were large-scale attacks by well-funded enemies who sought to destruction of the religion of Scientology.

d. There was a scintilla of substance to the propaganda events.

e. There was no hard facts, evidence and first-hand testimonials readily available from top members telling the real scene.  Yes, there were high level “defectors”, but they had the credibility level of Miscavige having adopted the same vicious, innuendo-laced diatribes full of disprovable falsehood. And they did generalize their attacks toward the destruction of Scientology itself.

f.  People were not being extorted to hand over huge sums – driving them into bankruptcy or worse –  in the most off-policy fashion. Incidentally, reports are surfacing that the church is encouraging “OTs” to declare bankruptcy when it gets too tough, because after all “the suppressive bankers are to blame.” And “OTs” are dutifully passing it along to their fellows.

g. The technology of Scientology – at least to some degree – was available in the churches.

h. Disconnection was a voluntary decision made when one hit a unresolvable snag in case progress; not an enforced policy widely applied for one evil purpose: to block the flow of TRUTH in order to keep the sheep in the pen for repeated shavings.

My thoughts along this line were re-inforced when I reviewed a number of recent credible reports I’d received on the state of orgs.  THEY ARE EMPTY people.  Yes, the Idle ones too.  New York, LA, Steven’s Creek, Seattle, London, Madrid, Malmo, Las Vegas, you name it. I’ve received first-hand reports on all of them.  And they do not deliver Scientology. They deliver some new freaky Miscavige Div 6 mini courses and they do not train auditors.   I realized that if I’d have encountered a church of Scientology in the need of change state of mind I was in when I joined in 1977 TODAY, I wouldn’t go into one even if they had a gun to my head.

The church is dead.  Those who cannot see it are not Scientologists.  They are out-ethics, status oriented, weaklings who don’t have the confront to have an independent thought.

Which leads to the second problem in treating them like poor misguided children.  Let’s look at Apartheid.  It was extended for many years by sincere pleas of  “well meaning, good South Africans.”   I witnessed it first hand.  Yes, many of them  were seemingly “well-intentioned” and were decent people within their educational and experiential framework.  But, it was not reasoning with such that ended Apartheid.  No, it was telling them evil is evil, whether dressed up in good intentions or not.  It was only when enough people stopped being so confounded reasonable (in a bad sense) about the matter, and started making responsible those who enabled the government of South Africa to continue the hellish practice that the tide began to turn.  And it was only when that escalated to passing laws around the world making it illegal to continue to contribute to South Africa’s economic slave masters that freedom was finally achieved.

Maybe some of you have the time to continue to treat them with kid gloves. I do not happen to have that luxury at the moment.  Their contributions of energy are being used largely to put period to us. And believe me,  if I am ever muzzled, Mike will be next, then another, and another. And guess what?  The forces of evil will have achieved LRH’s warned doomsday (a Black Dianeticist successfully monopolizing the subject of Scientology to the detriment of humanity).

I am not countenancing counter-productive clownery – like beefing up their serv facs by obnoxiously denigrating people’s beliefs.

I guess all I am suggesting is that people become more vigilant.  Perhaps we can be a bit more assertive on a one to one basis in pointing out the evil that bots are perpetuating by enabling it.

Bull Conner was damn certain he was doing the right thing by beating women and setting attack dogs on children in Alabama in the early sixties.  He was probably a great guy to have a drink with if the subject of segregation never arose.

But patty caking Conner would have perpetuated American Apartheid for years.

I am suggesting for starters that we call blood money what it is,  “blood money.”

Pimps, prostitutes and disconnection

When I worked as Legal Executive at Author Services Inc in the mid eighties, most nights I drove across Hollywood from the office to the complex after 1 a.m.  One night I noticed a man beating the shit of out of a woman  just off Sunset Blvd.  I pulled my car over and approached the man rather aggessively. He back peddled rapidly.  I then approached the woman and asked her if she was all right.  As she began to speak, the man butted in from several yards away, “you talk to him bitch, and I will kill you!”   I turned and told the guy to shut his mouth and asked the woman again, adding “you need help getting home?”  She looked up fearfully at the man that had just pumelled her then looked at the side walk and said to me, “you just gonna have to get the fuck out of here cracker, just leave me alone.”  I noticed the man smirking.  I recognized I had intervened between a pimp and one of his employees and the employee made it clear she wanted to remain connected to a very real and present source of suppression.  Only then did I drive home.

Was I wrong to suggest the woman perhaps disconnect from the pimp, if even for the evening?

Some people who opt to throw the Scientology baby out with the bathwater have effectively, and assertively suggested as much to me.  I have got some idiots running a campaign against me because I don’t choose to listen to their abusive, infantile comm.  Comm that clearly has no other objective than to enturbulate. I happen to agree with LRH’s observation that with the First Amendment freedom to speak comes the corollary right not to receive communication one is not interested in receiving.  It is not only LRH who suggests it.  The US Supreme Court has recognized that the First Amendment includes a right to privacy component. Don Migel Ruiz (The Four Agreements) suggests that for spiritual growth it is wise not to communicate with entheta merhants.  He calls it those who traffick in black magic.

You’d live a life of total effect if you did not recognize and exercise those rights.  You’d also be a fool by ignoring the real consequences of allowing a Suppressive to continue to make your life hell.

I am against “forced” or “ordered” or “coerced” disconneciton. I don’t think it has any place in a civilized society.

I wholeheartedly advise someone disconnect from a genuine source of suppression, who despite efforts to handle, continues to suppress.

When I decided to disconnect from David Miscavige and did so, over the next several months I magically recovered from a number of long-term physical problems.  I have heard a number of people tell me they experienced the same thing by disconnecting from Miscavige and/or his suppressive organizations.

Moral of the story:  If you want to continuing being a whore, then by all means stay connected to your pimp. But, you don’t have to continue to prostitute yourself.

Murder outs

Re: Murder Outs

Eliott,

I have recently learned that you have committed unethical and illegal acts against me for which I could have you and your ultimate boss, David Miscavige, prosecuted.

As you well know, I am not the vindictive type. In fact, as you are acutely aware, I went out of my way in my first public interview to not mention your name so as to not expose you to possible criminal prosecution and disbarment for previous acts I witnessed you engage in. You know what that means. But, I will spell it out for Miscavige, because I know he cannot even conceive of such an ethic level. It means that I put myself at risk of criminal prosecution alone for acts that you participated in and as an attorney had a higher level of duty, and thus responsibility, in not engaging in.

You may have noted several weeks ago I mentioned on my blog that my OSA sources informed me that David Miscavige has ordered that I be incarcerated and that since your investigators could find no basis upon which to do so in eighteen months of trying, I was to be framed.

Never in my wildest imagination did I believe Miscavige and his agents would stoop as low as they did to try to accomplish such. I was disappointed and saddened when I learned that it was you who personally executed Miscavige’s order.

I have been interviewed by a detective John Maciel of the Garden Grove Police Department. Det Maciel informed me that a private investigator working at your direction and you personally ran an operation to have the good detective re-open the 29-year old case regarding the murder of my dear brother Bruce. It was done using the most sleazy type of innuendo and outright known falsehood in order to mislead Det Maciel that I should be considered a suspect.

Eliott, please understand these facts:

  1. I joined Scientology for the sole purpose of helping my troubled brother Bruce. The only reason I was not able to pursue that objective for long enough to perhaps prevent his death was because the the client you represent persuaded me to join the Sea Organization on the false promise I would be given an assignment that would directly help my brother. Please watch this segment of an interview I gave – and you may begin to understand the level of intentional evil behind the operation you executed: http://www.tampabay.com/specials/2009/reports/project/rathbun.shtml
  2. My brother’s body was found on July 1, 1981. I was working in LRH external comm, a very important responsibility during the life of L Ron Hubbard. I had not seen my brother because of work commitments for perhaps a year or more. Your client, who ordered you to run this operation, has a written record of my whereabouts for every hour for three years prior to and up to the date of my brother’s death.
  3. Your client, who ordered this operation, has pre Clear folders, containing a number of sessions over several days after I was informed of my brother’s death – all detailing every aspect of my relationship with my brother and the devastating impact his death had on my life.
  4. Your intent and the intent of your client in making the false allegations are well documented by your client’s websites that have told falsity-laced, invented stories woven to leave the impression I had something to do with my brother’s death.
  5. I know from 22 years of working directly for Miscavige, and several years working over you, and from my OSA sources, that a secondary intent of your intentional false statements to a law enforcement agent was creating an “ongoing case” that you could – in a libel proof fashion – make reference to in order to destroy my reputation on your websites and in utterances by your investigators.
  6. Your involvement, and the particulars of it, are documented and secured.

Regardless of how you choose to handle this matter, your Consigliere days are over.

The only causation you can exercise at this point is the manner in which those days end. That is, whether they are ended with some level of dignity or by way of the penitentiary and the California bar.

And just so you don’t go into another of your reactive, false “ah hah” routines you are so well paid to perform and say “this sounds like extortion”, recognize the following. I am not saying “if you don’t do this, I won’t report you to law enforcement.” I am saying I have already reported you and your boss to law enforcement – and I believe the only way you can mitigate the result is by complying with the following demand. It is most certainly the only way you can mitigate the potential pains of civil remedies.

You have until sundown Tuesday August the 17th to deliver to me a copy of the letter that apologizes and withdraws your false allegations from the file of Detective Maciel, and to remove the false innuendo and allegations your very sick ultimate boss has ordered be published about me.

In the interim you are ordered to preserve all of my pc and pre-OT folders, ethics folders, OSA intelligence and PR folders, and any and all files created by anyone in Church of Scientology International and Religious Technology Center pertaining to me and pertaining to your demented “dead brother operation”.

Sincerely,

Mark “Marty” Rathbun

PS: I have ample evidence to hand to prove that publication on my blog is the most certain means of putting both you and Miscavige on notice.

RTC is dead

There is an RTC ”mission” that has turned into a full time affair attempting damage control on the Independent Movement. It is headed by two long-time RTC staff, both of whom ironically I had to handle numerous times on disaffection with Miscavige over the years. They are Stahli (Hansuili) and Sutter (Mike), Miscavige’s SS. SS describes their intent and function. According to Wikipedia, “SS is well known for establishing the police state of Nazi Germany and suppressing all resistance to Adolf Hitler through the use of security forces, such as, the Gestapo.”  Take away their 1.1 introductions smarmy justifications, replace “Nazi Germany” with “Radical Scientology”, and replace “Adolf Hitler” with “David Miscavige” and Stahli and Sutter (and Marion Pouw of RTC, all the OSA External Security and Intell staff, and local MAAs they call into termporary service) constitute a modern day version of Nazi German SS in intent and function.

While the RTC SS is a nasty piece of work, it is nothing to fear. The Scientology field that they are desperately trying to intimidate is far more informed than the general public in Nazi Germany were. And so their confrontations are more Keystone Cops than blood curdling Gestapo.

I was in the Sea Org for twenty-seven years and never, never did I see such an incompetent couple of bumbling fool missionaires last more than a day or two without being recalled. DM has had them out for nearly a year. That is an indication of just how far DM has burrowed into his bunker. A video tape was forwarded to me by two alert public that captured one of their attempted brainwashing sessions. They are laughable.

Sutter and Stahli are defending such an indefensibly criminal organization, they constantly sound as if they are tip-toeing around a floor covered with egg shells. They talk in generalities, they deal in platitudes. When confronted with any of the important truths we’ve disclosed on this blog, they stammer and stumble like Ralph Kramden when he was being dressed down by Alice.

In terms of overall effectiveness they are a Treason mission from Miscavige’s perspective. From our point of view they are Power. They push more people into becoming independents than they pull back into the sheep pen. I have collected far more valuable evidence on DM from them than they could ever dream of collecting on me.

If the Miscavige SS comes calling, I highly recommend you see them and ask them some piercing questions. Watching what are now considered the heavies squirm like earthworms can be quite entertaining. It can also do wonders for your own de-PTSing process.

All sarcasm aside, RTC is dead.

Ayatollah Miscavige and Radical Scientology

We are living in interesting times.  The western media has created a branch of Islam called “radical Islam.” It is a means to take the actions of some blood-thirsty, violent radicals and position them as somehow influenced or caused by a religion practiced by upwards of a billion peace loving humans many of whom happen to inhabit land sitting atop earth’s currently most valuable natural resource, oil.

The term is convenient because it tends to appease the billion peaceful ones, while at the same time satiating the oil-thirsty appetites of hundreds of millions of westerners living high off Middle Eastern oil. After hearing out well-financed propaganda from both sides of the spectrum, we’ve got this idea developing that those religious organizations in “established”, wealthy and conservative settings need not be feared. What ought to be feared are “cells” of  “radicals” putting into practice a literal and “fundamental” interpretation of the Koran.

It is against this backdrop that the Church of Scientology has spent hundreds of millions to position itself as the conservative, do-gooder, PTS to the middle class, traditional, mom and pops “church.”  They also spend tens of millions annually to position those with the intelligence and courage to point out that that is all a facade as “radicals” clinging to “fundamental” (and “background”, or “no longer used”) data to practice Scientology outside of the corrupt golden domes.

And the sheep – overlooking the fact that the workable philosophy the whole religion was predicated upon was largely jettisoned to attain this desired image –  remain apparently comfortable. In fact, they are carefully and fearfully hiding that deep inside they are actually dying  slow, agonizing deaths.

I am pointing this out so that the intelligent and courageous ones don’t ever get duped by this billion dollar op being run by Miscavige.

Fact of the matter is, Miscavige operates the Church of Scientology very much as an Ayatollah runs “radical Islam” sects.

Think about it.

The Ayatollah implants his followers with the notion that Mohammad’s most radical individual statements against enemies he faced or perceived some 1500 years ago must be used to destroy imagined evil in present time. Infidels are defined as any and all not following arbitrary Ayatollah law, and the unfaithful as those who provide any succor or comfort to them. Miscavige likewise has implanted in his flock that “squirrels”, “disaffecteds”, “mental health professionals”, and non-compliant or non-sympathetic “wogs” must be conquered and that anyone who even communicates with them, let alone agrees or provides aid or comfort, is inherently evil (Suppressive Person); and therefore must be depowered and destroyed.

The Ayatollah preaches the idea that infidels, if not first converted or destroyed, will destroy Islam.  Therefore, “jihad” or Holy War against the infidels is a religious obligation.

Miscavige preaches the idea that earth’s population is intent on destroying Scientology and the planet if not first converted or destroyed. Therefore, unlimited payments are required to the IAS “war chest” as a religious obligation.

The Ayatollah keeps populaces in fear and under control by ruthlessly exposing individuals regularly for their personal sins. For example, the public stoning of an adultress. Miscavige keeps his sheep in line by regularly selecting individuals for public pillorying. While he is smart enough to make the public ones done without physical violence, behind his walls he metes out the worst kind of physical torture and violence. The operations and results are the same, the populace kept in a state of terror.

Which leads us to terrorism. Terrorism is defined at Your Dictionary.com as: “the act of terrorizing; use of force or threats to demoralize,  intimidate, and subjugate, esp. such use as a political weapon or policy”.

While some could, and some undoubtedly will, say I’ve gone too far in using the T word – some close Persian friends, some of whom practice Scientology and some of whom never heard of it, tell me otherwise.

These friends lived under the Ayatollah Khomeini, and fled to the West to start new lives mid-life (an experience reminiscent of so many former SO members). They have told me that the most powerful incentive to become “demoralized, intimidated, and subjugated” was the threat of the group pressure of being ostracized for stepping outside the rules of the Ayatollah.

Practically speaking it was far more effective in keeping people acting as sheep than the periodic stonings, floggings, and bombings they read about or witnessed.

Miscavige uses SP declares and enforced disconnection in the very same manner as the Ayatollah dictates ostracizing; to punish the flow of information and terrorize people from thinking, reading and communicating freely.

And to top it off the Ayatollah dictates all politics by manipulating a straw dog president to run the government the way he wants it run.  Of course, DM told Tom Cruise to his face he thought George Bush would be the perfect Ayatollah expeditor for himself – because he would use martial law to enforce DM’s dictates. Regardless of how delusional the idea, please examine the intention and compare it to the Iranian Ayatollah-run system.

Miscavige does not overtly preach physical Holy War. But he certainly cleverly convinces his minions they must support one that includes eradicating certain classes of people.

Miscavige does not have innocents murdered spectacularly to instill terror in the populace. But, he certainly covertly brings more subtle ruination to lives, families and even religious organizations instilling a palpable terror in the hearts and minds of innocents.

Miscavige does not utterly control government officials, but you can take it to the bank that he is spending millions as we speak in an attempt to.

The main difference between Miscavige and an Ayatollah is that the latter is more uptone. You gotta be firmly fixed at 1.5 (Anger) to be an Ayatollah. You gotta wear your intentions on your turban. Don’t let the fact that Miscavige is a died-in-the-wool 1.1 (covert hostility) fool you.

And know, “By their actions you shall know them, whether good or bad, whether on another’s side or ours. And what in their actions gives us the keenest insight. Their ability to help.” (LRH, HCOB 28 May 1960)

And know that irrespective of how much money Miscavige spends in forwarding the misconception that independents are akin to radicals, it is his church that constitutes Radical Scientology. It is his church that instills in minions the attitude, ”by any means necessary”. It is his church that creates the mind set that to kill one – regardless of injustice – is periodically necessary to bring the masses to toe the white line. It is his church that says individuals, families and societies are expendable in the quest of its own survival. And last but not least, do not forget it is Miscavige who continues to make his followers act in criminal fashion on the promise of the land of milk and honey and unlimited virgins. That is done while invalidating and crushing every being who makes it and recognizes he or she doesn’t need or want milk, honey or virgins.

The Church of Scientology as run by David Miscavige constitutes Radical Scientology.

 We represent Scientology.

Morten Astrupgaard

I did not know Morten.  He was an FSSO  tours director I am told.  I have also been told that Morten was an engaging person and  was loved by many people. He was apparently the son of one of the founding Scientologists of Denmark.  Morten passed away recently at the age of 54. If any of you knew him please feel free to honor him with your words here.  It is our hope he was in decent spiritual shape and is getting along fine.

The same apparently cannot be said for the very best Miscavige OT VIIIs.  Included amongst them are at least two who were with the twenty man mission that DM fired  to Corpus Christi a couple months ago with the purpose of body snatching JB (Michael and Denice Duff).   They along with  Elena & Grant Cordone, Tamara & Jim Meskimen and Melinda and Eric Brownstone have emailed far and wide blatantly attempting to capitalize on Morten’s death to reg bucks for the FSSO.  Their email is appended below. While singing Morten’s praises they urge people to send “donations” to the FSSO before Thursday at 2 p.m.,to “give Morten a final upstat.” I’ve said it before, and I suppose I’ll say it again at this rate, but it doesn’t get any darker than that. Miscavige’s church is not producing OTs, it is producing very sick puppies.

Dearest Friends,

For those of you attending Tuesday night’s memorial honoring Morten
Astrupgaard you too must have been moved and inspired by his life’s
accomplishments.

For those who missed it, it was the greatest celebration of a
person’s life we have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. His
humor at every turn, his love for his family, his care of those he
helped, all culminating in a unique and wonderful person who loved
a good In and Out burger and a great practical joke.

He was an exceptional being, a person who truly embodied the
essence of real care for his fellow man.

In lieu of sending flowers, we have all made a donation to the FSSO.

Any money you can put on account to give Morten a final upstat as
he goes off into the next chapter would be so helpful and
appreciated, no doubt, by all who are carrying the very large
Danish torch left behind!

This will give Morten the proper send off for his last week and as
Grant Cardone says, “You’re gonna do it sooner or later so just go
ahead and do it” with his twang, of course!

All we ask is that you fax a letter to 323-953-3224 stating “I,
(your name) would like to make a donation in the amount of
($whatever dollar amount) on my credit card account # (whatever it
is) and the expiration is (MM/YY) the three or four digit code is
(XXX) my mailing address is…, please apply it to my account…” and
then sign it.

If we can flood their fax machine before 11:00am today what a
beautiful gift we would give in any amount!

Please pass this along to anyone and everyone you know!

We loved him, we know you did too. If Morten touched you in any
way, please help honor him.

We look forward to hearing from you!

All of our love and admiration,

New OTVIII’s, Elena and Grant Cardone, Denice and Michael Duff,
Tamra and Jim Meskimen, Melinda (OT VII) and Eric Brownstone.

Headley case dismissals – blessings in disguise?

I know there has been a lot of rumor, gossip, and speculation (spiced and spun by OSA operative propaganda) with respect to the meaning of the LA Federal Court order dismissing the Headley lawsuits.

Here is a pretty factual report on the matter:

http://www.tampabay.com/news/scientology/judge-dismisses-two-lawsuits-aimed-at-scientology/1113544

Here is a more insightful commentary on the matter:

http://www.examiner.com/x-8922-Skepticism-Examiner~y2010m8d7-Scientology-wins-legal-victory-loses-public-image-war

I’ve had time to analyze the ruling and am weighing in now. While my opinion in some ways is humble, I cannot deny my twenty-two years experience in litigating the precise issues at hand, so please excuse the righteous assertions of indignation that may might find expression herein.

First, when I read the Headleys’ complaints nearly two years ago, I predicted the result would be much like what Judge Fischer ultimately dished up. It did not mean I was in agreement with it. It meant I knew what the Headleys’ signed over the years. I helped draft or approved every one of the self-serving documents SO staff are required to sign and they were very carefully designed to strip staff of their fundamental civil and human rights. I also knew the precedents we in the church had vigorously fought to obtain over the past two and one half decades. I also knew how outgunned the Headleys were in terms of representation. When it came to Summary Judgment time, and I saw the wall of lies the church put forth to defeat the Headleys’ I provided my own declaration to expose that, knowing it was a long shot, but nonetheless the right thing to do.

Having studied Judge Fischer’s ruling on summary judgment, I have another prediction. That is the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals will strike her ruling down in such a fashion as to create high court precedent that will make David Miscavige rue the day he spent five to ten million dollars in perpetrating what amounts to a fraud upon the court.

At the risk of offending people, I need to talk about politics for a moment. Whether you like this or not, the following is a FACT. Every major judicial decision – if there is an exception or two I cannot think of them off hand – of import that the church of Scientology has obtained over the past thirty years was handed down by a right wing conservative. I know it might sound counter-intuitive at first. But it is the case. Even while in the church, and an imagined beneficiary of such rulings, I came up with an explanation for this.

Conservative judges are trained doctrinally to be “strict constructionists.” That means – don’t forget your Science of Survival – they are trained to read and apply the law quite literally. Any “liberal” judge who uses reason to interpret the law and constitution in a manner that serves the late Justice Brennan’s motto “where there is a wrong there is a remedy” – usually in a way to protect the minority or the little guy (one reason the Constitution and the Bill of Rights were drafted in the first place) – is viciously condemned by conservatives as a “Judicial Activist”. Judicial Activists are then barraged with well-financed far-right propaganda as being somehow socialist, communist or worse. It is about as fair as saying that Strict Constructionists are Fascists.

As with most isms and labels, neither extreme is very productive. Sane Strict Constructionism often protects honest, productive corporations and small businesses from the havoc that dishonest, yet convincing shysters can wreak. Sane Judicial Activism, on the other hand, often protects our democracy from empowering corporations to so abuse the public as to create a literal Fascism.

It just so happens that Judge Fischer (A George Bush Junior team appointment, a judicial appointment team who was so “strict constructionist” doctrine oriented as to be scandalous in a society with a braver press corps)  is not a deep-thinker nor one inclined to find ways to fashion a remedy where clear wrongs are apparent, particularly when a well-heeled corporation is on the defense side of the courtroom. Her ruling reflects that.

It is as shallow as a West Texas pig’s wading hole in late August.

She reasoned, in essence, that the Church of Scientology may visit whatever horrors it wishes behind its walls so long as it claims it is done pursuant to religious “scripture.” I happen to know that that utterly ignores an eighty year string of judicial precedent that requires such an analysis to include this inquiry, “is that religious belief sincerely held.” Fischer’s ruling is bereft of that discussion. For good reason, if one wants to punt a controversial, toughly-fought case out of one’s realm of responsibility.

Worse, Judge Fischer also ignored a twenty-three page declaration from me that detailed how in fact the acts complained of by the Headleys were not only not done pursuant to any religious “scripture”, but instead were done in violation of the letter and spirit of fundamental Scientology scripture.

One of the problems with radical Strict Constructionism (and radical Judicial Activism for that matter), is that extreme doctrinaires (or the not quite bright or courageous wanting to stay hidden in his or her own ideological camp) will ignore the facts to get at the politically correct result. Fischer couldn’t have done a more blatant job.

It just so happens that the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (which covers the Western United States) is probably the most liberal Circuit Court in America. Several times over the past three decades the Church has won some “great precedent” in LA Federal Court, only to have it reversed by the Ninth Circuit. Given that our judicial system has become generally more conservative and less responsible over the years, I reckon the chances are Seventy-thirty that Fischer gets reversed.

But, something interesting occurred to me in studying all this and re-immersing myself in the foggy world of courts and the First Amendment. That is, David Miscavige better pray to God that my prediction is accurate. Should the Ninth Circuit punt by affirming Fischer, or deliver an even better reasoned opinion upholding Fischer, Fischer’s ruling will be the most current constitutional law as applies to the Church of Scientology. Why should DM fear that?

If Fischer’s ruling becomes law, RTC will become virtually powerless to seek the courts’ assistance in blocking, or even harassing, independent delivery of the religion of Scientology. To quote Judge Fischer:

“Entanglement issues arise whenever the Court must ‘evaluate religious doctrine or the ‘reasonableness’ of the religious practices followed by the church.’”…

“In other words, “it is not only the conclusions that may be reached by the court which may impinge on the rights guaranteed by the Religion Clauses, but also the very process of inquiry leading to findings and conclusions.”

“Defendants here represent that the challenged conduct was doctrinally motivated. Therefore, inquiry into these allegations would entangle the Court in the religious doctrine of Scientology and doctrinally-motivated practices of the Sea Org.”

In other words, my words this time, if RTC wants to bring a case that in any way opens up an inquiry (even if raised by – as occurred in Headley v RTC – the defendant) into your practice of Scientology when your practice is Scientology doctrine-motivated, they will swiftly be shown the door by the court.

Think it through for yourself.

DM has hoisted himself upon the horns of the ole Texas Longhorn dilemma.

Marc and Claire Headley should be thanked for their outstanding work and persistence because they chased the rodeo clown right into the ‘damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t’ position he finds himself in.
